"Look at you, little Salvatore." Klaus smirked from where he was positioned between your legs, his hand splayed out across your bare stomach. "Such a mess for me."
You could only respond with a desperate moan as he dragged his tongue through your folds, making you squirm beneath his touch.
"Klaus." You panted, unable to keep your eyes open as he pushed his tongue inside you.
Despite your current position, you didn't like Klaus much. How could you? All he'd done since coming to Mystic Falls was make your brothers' lives Hell. And although you hated him, you couldn't deny that you were attracted to him.
Which was why you were currently flat against your mattress with Klaus' head between your legs. And as he continued to work his mouth over you, you struggled to keep still, heat beginning to pool in your belly.
But before you could reach your release, he pulled his mouth away, smirking at you as he climbed up the length of your body.
"Such an innocent little thing aren't you?" He growled, tracing his finger down the length of your throat. "Your brothers will be furious if they find out what I've been doing to their sweet sister."
"Yeah well they're not gonna find out." You argued, your skin seeming to come alight at the touch of Klaus' fingertips.
"We'll see about that love."
He quickly slipped your t-shirt over your head, leaving you completely bare before him. And then he dipped down, lazily dragging his lips across your chest before getting up to step out of his jeans.
He was back on you in seconds, already dragging the tip of his cock through your folds.
"Klaus." You whined, bucking your hips up toward him.
He just pressed his hand against your stomach, keeping you flat against the bed as he teased you. "Look at you, you're bloody desperate for me to ruin you aren't you?"
"Klaus." You whimpered, not even bothering to argue with him. You just wanted him inside you. "Please."
"As you wish." He chuckled before pushing himself all the way inside you, making you cry out at the force.
He gave you no time to adjust to him before he started thrusting himself inside you at an already bruising pace.
You let out a pained sound at the stinging feeling of his dick rubbing against your walls but he didn't let up. He just continued to forcefully slap his hips up into you, one of his hands curled around your shoulder to keep you in place.
"What a sight you are." Klaus said proudly, a devilish smirk on his face as he pounded into you.
You could only respond with a loud moan as you squirmed beneath his hold, the pressure in your stomach building.
"Harder!" You pleaded, screwing your eyes shut as Klaus continued to thrust himself inside you.
"You sure about that love?"
"Klaus...please..."
He just let out a quiet laugh before pushing himself into you even harder, making the bed shake beneath you both. You were surprised the bed hadn't collapsed yet.
The sound of skin smacking against skin echoed loudly around your bedroom and you hoped to god that nobody was in the house because it was too late to be quiet now.
And after a few more hard thrusts inside you, you felt the fire that had been building in your stomach finally explode, a wave of pleasure crashing over you as Klaus continued to slam into you.
You practically screamed when you came around his cock and it didn't take him long to reach his release as seconds later, he was twitching inside you.
Klaus groaned when he finally filled you with his release, slipping out of you and stepping back to look at his work.
"Bloody hell." He breathed out, a proud smile expanding across his features as he stared down at you. "You're a mess, little Salvatore."

The Fourth Day Of Smutmas

~ Santa Clause Is Coming To Town ~
Klaus Mikaelson x fem!Vampire Reader
Summary: When Klaus mysteriously returns from New Orleans, the Mystic Falls gang worries about what he’s planning, though his only plan is to convince you to join him for Christmas in The Big Easy, by any means necessary. Starting with lavish gifts, attention, and affections, and ending with his mouth wherever you wish it.
- Klaus is obsessed but not in a creepy way, vampire reader, platonic Damon x Reader & Stefan x Reader -
Warnings: 18+ Content!!Spoiling(gift giving, promises etc),ig kinda manipulation if you squint,f!Receiving Oral.
It was no secret that when Klaus first came to Mystic Falls he had only one thing on his mind, breaking his curse. But when he first saw you from behind the eyes of Alaric, he knew there was….something….so he of course ignored it. By the second time he came around you knew all about him and he you, something about you lingered with him, leading him to look into your past which only hooked him on further.
He was a forward man, anything he wants he goes for, so naturally he was hounding you left and right for the better part of year while him and his siblings ran rampant in your town. Though you were mysteriously never hurt, mentally or physically, something that didn’t go unnoticed by you. By the time Klaus was told of a plot against him in New Orleans, you were ready to accept him, his faults and all, and before he reluctantly left, you shared a heated kiss that stuck with the hybrid even all this time later.
Despite trying to disconnect himself and keep you safe from the enemies after his family and city, he couldn’t stop himself from calling you every once in a while, only feeding his desires to see you, feel you, smell you, for you. By the time Hope’s second Christmas started approaching, he realized she’d be starting to remember them soon, and decided you just had to be there so began planning to get you to enjoy the Holidays with him.
“Uh guys, you might….well you are gonna be upset but I need to tell you something,” Your voice was small and weak as you entered the main room of the Salvatore Boarding House where Stefan and Damon sat drinking bourbon. Damon, rude as usual, ushered you to speak faster as you tried to sputter out the words to tell them Klaus had left you a voicemail in the early hours of the morning to announce his eminent arrival.
“Well you see…” You were cut off by the sound of the large wooden door opening behind you allowing Klaus to saunter in with his usual air of confidence, swinging an arm over your shoulder with a smile that didn’t show his teeth, eyeing the brothers in front of him as though daring them to question his entry into their home.
“Oh come on….why the hell has Santa Klaus come to town,” Damon mocked, scoffing out a laugh as he chugged down the rest of his bourbon, standing from his seat, eyeing you with disappointment before returning his attention to the much stronger man, “We’re having one peaceful, happy, bullshit free Christmas this year and nowhere in that is the Original Hybrid needed,” Damon swayed his hands in a mocking manner as he spoke, he was coaxing him, he wanted to anger him and wanted to prove to you Klaus would rip his head off in a matter of seconds if it weren’t for you.
“Oh Damon,” Klaus sighed condescendingly with a shake of his head, “I’ve only come for y/n, she’s needed for my family’s….what’d you call it…” He feigned a questioning look as his eyes shifted around the room, “ah yes peaceful, happy, bullshit free Christmas, so if you don’t mind….”
“Woah woah woah, what do you mean? You can’t just swoop in and take y/n like she’s your property,” Stefan piped up, scoffing slightly as he crossed his arms over his chest despite Klaus’ eyebrows shot up his forehead to eye the much younger vampire.
“You are so dramatic,” Klaus laughed with a smile that didn’t meet his eyes, clearing his throat before continuing, “I haven’t come to kidnap her, I’ve come to ask her you idiot, and even if I had planned to walk in here and take her….neither of you could stop me.” Klaus was never fond of you living with the Salvatores, especially Damon, but he also recognized their close bond to you and their obvious love for you. He wouldn’t hurt them unless they hurt you, he knew you would never forgive him for that and he just would not stand for that.
With a roll of your eyes you tugged Klaus’ hand, pulling him down the hall away from the brewing argument and toward your large bedroom. “Why’s this room so close to Damon’s?” Klaus’ narrowed, distrusting eyes seemed to search the room and hallway before shutting the wood against the frame and turning back to you.
“He likes to be closer so he can hear if somethings happening faster….he’ll deny that though,” you chuckle awkwardly, you hadn’t been alone with Klaus in almost two full years. Your eyes fell to his hands as he dig into his coat, tugging out a long, silver wrapped box with a golden bow on top, so neatly done that you were sure he had compelled someone to do it perfectly.
“I got you something, come here” He ushered you towards him with two of his fingers. His gravely, authoritative voice you loved so much sending shivers down your spine as you approached, unable to deny him of anything he asked of you in that tone. “There’s more waiting for you under my tree in New Orleans.” Klaus calmly stated, making you cringe slightly as you approached him, stopping only a foot in front of him before speaking.
“Look Nik, I’m sure that whatever that is is lovely and I’m sure all the others are too but if you’re only giving me that to get me to come back with you than I can’t accept it.” You sighed, meeting his eyes for only a second before watching your feet. Klaus stepped forward, almost pressing against you as the air grew warmer, gripping your chin and forcing you to meet his eyes again, genuinely smiling down to you once you did.
“No Love….this is yours whether you come with or stay and if you don’t accept my invite I’ll bring the rest to you. Whatever happens to them after is up to you, leave them, open them, donate them, whatever you want,” His warm hand moved to yours, shoving his gift box into your palm as he watched you expectantly, your brows scrunched together as you narrowed your eyes at him before realizing he was being honest.
You tore through the paper cautiously with a smile, revealing the long black velvet box that opened to reveal a simple golden necklace with a simple wolf charm in the middle, “I usually go for diamonds but I know my girl well enough to know you’d prefer both,” he stated simply before pulling out another perfectly wrapped silver package, this time much smaller. You wasted no time in ripping through and opening the small box to reveal a ring with a thin silver band adorned with a large diamond.
Your eyes shot up to his as you removed the ring from it’s confines with a shocked expression, “Now I know what you’re probably thinking, but when I propose to you that rock will me much larger and,” As he waved a hand around your room with slight grimace on his face, “we’ll be in be a much more extravagant setting….Paris perhaps?”
“Nik….this is too much I….” You couldn’t form words as you looked between the pieces of jewelry, “I can’t accept these not when Hope is so young and Hayley she deser-“ Klaus laughs at your response, eyeing you as though to ask you a question simply with his eyes, before chuckling again with a soft apology.
“Do you really think I can’t get all my favorite girls their gifts? Trust me Hope and Hayley will have plenty of presents, in fact they’re next to yours right now, if you want to get going I’m sure you’ll see them.” Klaus waved his hand towards your door, looking to you expectantly as though waiting for you to walk out before him.
“I can’t just leave with you out of nowhere Klaus,” You sighed, setting your gifts down on your bedside table before rubbing at your eyes as the man stood in front of you again, waiting for a different response, “It- it’s not that I don’t want to okay….I just can’t.”
“Why not?” He asked, his eyebrows scrunched in confusion, his voice exasperated as he turned his hands up dramatically, “Come on what’s keeping you from leaving with me? I’ll keep you safe.” His voice was growing strained, he was beginning to plead with you now, grabbing at your sides as if to remind you of his ability to shield you from harm.
“My friends are here Klaus, the only real friends I’ve had for over a century, I’m not just leaving them” You spoke, narrowing your eyes to him as though asking him to reveal a hidden meaning before turning away from his touch and avoiding his pleading eyes by tiding your bed covers, adding in a small voice, “My friends who do not trust you with me by the way.”
“It’s not like you’ll never see them again, I’m not trying to hold you captive I’m trying to give you a nice Christmas.” You could hear in his voice that he was upset, he was losing patience and wanted, no needed, a flat out response, “Love, please I’m practically begging on my knees here”
“Maybe you should be on your knees,” you joked under your breath without thinking about the mans enhanced hearing well beyond yours or the vampires you’re usually around, only realizing your mistake when you turned to find his eyebrows that had shot up his forehead in surprise. His eyes trailed down your body and back up again, reading you to make sure he heard you correctly before speaking, “Sit.”
“Wha-“ His deep, dark eyes locked into yours in a silent order, halting your question before it was formed as you immediately flopped down on the bed behind you. Your wide eyes followed his actions as he slowly grew closer to the bed with purposeful steps, “You’ll be a Good Girl and tell me to stop when you don’t like what I’m doing won’t you?”
You nodded your head in understanding, putting a halt to his agonizingly slow steps as his head tilted to the side in a questioning and demanding stare, “Yes I will,” You stuttered, your throat beginning to dry, your head falling back to maintain eye contact as Klaus stopped in front of you, just to drop to his knees. His warm, rough hands surrounded your ankles, tugging them apart lightly to settle himself between your legs, his eyes never leaving yours. He smelled intoxicating, his scent wrapping you in a blanket of comfort as his hands slowly rubbed up and down your legs, stopping just before the hem of your dress each time. “Please y/n. Will you please come to New Orleans for Christmas, it’ll make my year.”
“I don’t kneel for just anyone and I think you know that,” as he spoke it felt as though his power he prided above anything for 1,000 years began to seep out of him and into you, “You’re the only woman on this planet that I can’t get out of my head, I’ve had women on every continent drooling at my feet for the better part of a millennium but you, my Darling, are the only one I will ever drool over.” Your resolve was beginning to crumble, the feeling of his soft kisses to the top of your legs between words had you sighing in contempt, your confidence growing with each second.
“What can I do to get you to join me hm?” He punctuated himself with a kiss to the center of your thigh, moving his lips higher before he spoke again, “I’ll buy you anything, I’ll do anything.”
Your hand melted into his stawberry curls, watching his lips form a smile as he realized he’d won, “You seem to love using your mouth….so maybe start there.” His eyes shot to yours, chuckling to himself at your false dominance, he loved being in control and whether you realized it yet or not, he was.
Your back slammed against your mattress in less than a second, Klaus’ firm hand held against your stomach, using his hybrid strength to keep you down. He vibrated against you with pure energy, growling against the flesh of your thigh while kissing a trail to your core, eyes going a golden yellow as the scent of your arousal filled his senses. You leant up on your elbows to watch him, the feel of his prominent fangs that would scare almost anyone else scraping your skin with each featherlight kiss building an ache in your lower abdomen, the sense of danger was overwhelming, knowing that at any moment he could dig into you, infecting you with his venom just so he could taste you. The thought of him losing control and having to cure you from the toxin with his blood had you subconsciously tugging your lip between your own fangs that surfaced from your gums at the sight of him shoving your dress upward once his lips met it.
His fingers effortlessly slipped into your lace underwear, filling the room with the sound of ripping fabric before delving into you with his expert tongue, forcing your hips to jolt up against his hold on you, “Holy fucking shit,” Klaus immediately began drawing figure eights on your desperate clit, sighing in pleasure at just your taste and immediately needing more.
You were dripping for him, filling the room with the sound of your pleasure as he lapped against you, focusing on the strokes of his tongue against your center the same way he would a brush against art. Your high was fast approaching, faster than ever before, you wigged against his grip desperately trying to ease the growing tension in your body but he didn’t let up. Fingernails digging into your flesh as you legs shook, your eyes screwed shut, falling back onto the bed with a sigh of a moan attempting to will yourself to last longer, to prolong your pleasure as though you would never feel it again.
His strokes danced between your entrance and your puffy, needy clit he was beginning to adore, wishing to give you a teaser of what awaited you in his bed in his city. His lips sucked around you, egging on your moans of pleasure from above him until they turned into small whimpers and whines of need. Your mind was hazy, it’s only focus being the tickle of his beautiful hair against your thighs, the scratch of his stubble marking your flesh as his perfect, silver tongue pulled out the first of many shaking orgasms he would give you as his Queen.
“You taste absolutely amazing,” He pushed himself forward, weighing down the bed beside you as you tried to regain focus, “If you pack quickly you may get another gift before we leave.” He chuckled, smacking at your still exposed thigh before pulling you into a desperate kiss he’d waited far too long for.

Might be really lame but can I request Klaus meeting Reader after she attends the funeral of a relative in Mystic Falls? Maybe he makes her smile or something cheesy like that. Just a little meet cute goodness would be lovely 💗
she's the giggle at a funeral | klaus mikaelson
author's note; me writing things that could be considered love at first sight? it's more likely than you think
warnings: tw death, death of a grandparent, it's not graphic but it's the overall theme, grieving, brief angst just bc of internal feelings, but then klaus shows up and makes it all better. corny cheesy gooey feelings <3 enjoy
Her grandmother prided herself on her intuition.
She’d grown up with the stories of witches and vampires and everything else that went bump in the night, and though she got older and dismissed most of the warnings she’d been told her whole life, she never forgot that her grandmother was someone who believed.
And everyone else had always believed in her grandma, too. She was sought out everywhere she went. People naturally flocked to her, as if they could tell she had all of the answers to life in the palms of her wrinkled hands, and she’d lost count of how many times she’d seen someone literally throw themselves at her grandma’s feet, begging for help, or answers, or god knows what.
Her grandma liked helping people. But more than anything, her grandma liked being right. She prided herself on her intuition, and how it never steered her wrong, and it never did any harm to anyone else, either.
When her grandma first moved to Mystic Falls, the entire family had been upset because of the distance it would put between them all. But she’d waved them all off, and said she had to. That one day it would make sense, and they would see why she had to come to this town and help them. It didn’t surprise her as a child, because she’d never doubted her grandma’s desire to help people. That was something that scary stories would never take away, no matter how old she got.
She didn’t make it out much to see her grandmother. A few times here or there, but between college and then life, it got harder to make the trip. It was never worth the cost of a flight, so she always drove, but that took up time she didn’t have these days. It never changed her relationship with her grandma, though, because the woman called nearly every night, and every night, she would say that it was about time she made the trip out there.
Her grandma always said she should come out there and stay for a little while. That it would be good to slow down and take in the scenery, and breathe fresh air. That she might even meet someone she likes, or something. Her grandmother was many things, but subtle was not one of them.
She never did get to go to Mystic Falls as much as she and her grandmother wanted, but she was here now.
It just never occurred to her that it would be because her grandmother was dead.
It’s been a long week. But, today in particular was grueling.
It’s not easy losing a loved one, anyone knows that. But she really hadn’t thought about what it would be like to lose her grandmother, who was not only a hero of a woman to their family, but to a community as a whole.
It didn’t make it any easier that she didn’t realize how loved her grandmother was in the tiny town she’d chosen to live out the rest of her days in. She didn’t realize how close knit Mystic Falls was, and how it would be such an ordeal to plan her grandmother’s funeral to the point she’d be dealing with the Mayor about it.
Mayor Carol Lockwood, as it turns out, is a very tenacious woman. She refused to do anything less than host the wake at her house, and pay for any and all accommodations necessary to put her grandmother to rest.
At first she was scared of imposing, after all, she hardly knew any of these people, and couldn’t fathom wanting to pay for someone’s funeral just because of how well-known they were, but Mayor Lockwood wouldn’t budge on it and she eventually caved.
All of that is what led her to the wake, held at the Lockwood’s mayoral manor. It was a beautiful house, on a nice, large piece of property that was currently filled with what looked, and felt, like the entire town.
Hours had passed since the whole thing started, and she doesn’t think she’s had a single moment to form a coherent thought outside of the compulsory acceptances of all of the condolences and well wishes directed at her. Her grandmother was old– that’s what had done it in the end.
She was old, and she had lived her life to the fullest extent, and she went peacefully. Yet somehow the feeling of every stranger’s apologies and somewhat condescending grief was making it out to be like she’d died in some tragic accident. Like it wasn’t entirely expected at this stage, and probably years ago from some people in their family.
She hasn’t really cried since she found out. Of course, the initial reaction was surprise, and a few tears were shed as she talked to the hospital employee about what all was going to happen next, but other than that she hadn’t really cried. Like she’d said– it wasn’t shocking considering her age, but it’s been such a whirlwind of people since she got to Mystic Falls that she hasn’t really realized that her grandmother was gone.
Between Mayor Lockwood’s almost overbearing welcome wagon, and the sheer amount of people that apparently knew her grandmother well enough to come to her wake, she hasn’t really been thinking about the fact that all of this is not for any other reason besides the fact that her grandma died.
The sudden thought has her inhaling sharply and she clasps her hands together in front of her, pinkies twisting into the black fabric of her dress. She clears her throat softly, offering a polite smile to the few people she’d been half-heartedly conversing with about nothing of importance.
“If you’ll excuse me for a minute,” She says, ducking her head down as they all nod her away, oblivious to the sudden line of tension straightening her shoulders out.
She makes her way through the house she’d grown quickly familiar with over the past week, planning things with Carol, and being invited to the so-called family dinners with just her and her son, who looked like he could care less about everything going on around him.
She makes it to the backside of the wrap-around porch and finds it mercifully empty, and with a quick glance to the large yard that surrounds the property, she finds that most everyone has migrated towards the shimmering pond, or the gazebo, enjoying the fall sun that’s no longer too hot to bear standing beneath, taking it all in before it becomes too cold to enjoy.
She practically throws herself down into one of the rocking chairs staged neatly on the porch with a small table in between the two of them, and drops her face into her hands, letting her tears fall silently.
It’s not overwhelming, necessarily, and there’s no ugly sobbing, but there’s tears. Plenty of them, too. She already knows her eyes will be sore tomorrow, and she’ll most likely have a pounding headache tomorrow from it all. She’s going to have to make a detour into one of the bathrooms before she shows her face again, because she doesn’t think she’s allowed to be so openly grieving at this point. She’s held it together all week, and suddenly, at the very end of it all, she loses it? She’s sure it would get her a few strange stares from the countless people here to send her grandmother off.
She’s spiraling quickly, down that horrible, embarrassing train of thought that is likely just making her cry harder when her privacy is interrupted.
She startles at the sound of a throat being cleared pointedly, but not impolitely, and she wipes at her face messily, trying to stop the flow of tears as she turns to face the source of the disruption.
Her breath stalls in her chest as she tilts her head back, craning her neck to meet the gaze of the man standing above her, hands tucked into the pockets of his suit pants. He’s dressed for the occasion, but as far as she can tell, he’s just another nameless face that’s come to pay respects to her grandma.
“Sorry,” She says, wincing at the hoarse quality of her voice. “I’m sorry.”
The man raises a brow, his blue eyes still peering down at her with a shockingly neutral shine to them. Not leaning too far in indifference, or the collective grief being passed around today.
“What are you apologizing for?”
She bites the end of her tongue, wringing her hands together. “Um– I don't know?” She grimaces at her response, tearing her eyes away from his, feeling entirely too seen.
The man takes the other chair beside her, his hand draped over the armrest, fingers nearly touching the small table between them. “I would’ve thought it was everyone else saying sorry to you today,” He said, an almost hesitant degree of amusement in his voice. “Not the other way around.”
She nods, resolutely embarrassed at the fact that this man has caught her right at her breaking point. “Yeah, uh, they were. But I was just… over it.” She huffs a quiet noise. “Is that horrible of me to say?”
“I can imagine it gets tiring dealing with all of these people,” He says, hand waving lazily at the people gathered all around the mansion. “Strangers telling you how much they’re going to miss someone.”
She sighs, tapping the tips of her fingers together in a mindless rhythm. “They mean well. I’ve always known the person my grandma was, and this– this community meant everything to her. It’s just odd to think that she was something important to everyone here, but I don’t know them at all. It makes it hard to believe that all of this is because she’s gone,” She shrugs slightly, at a loss for words. In her momentary silence she cringes, pinching the bridge of her nose. “I am so sorry for dumping that on you. You're probably one of the people coming to say sorry to me, and I just totally–”
“No, it’s alright,” He is quick to interrupt her, his hand reaching out to rest atop her arm, not squeezing but not at all unnoticeable. “I understand. I’ve never been one to publicly grieve. It’s certainly not easy when you have an entire town watching.”
She huffs out a wry laugh, lifting her gaze from where it had been stuck on his hand now gently caressing her arm, and meets his all-knowing look.
She’s sure she looks like a mess right now, tired and tear-streaked. Her makeup is probably smudged from her tears and her hasty attempt at cleaning herself up without a mirror present, but the longer she looks into his eyes, the farther any concerns about her appearance slip to the back of her mind.
Her small smile lingers on her face, and she fights the urge to let it get bigger. She could be wrong– she doesn’t know this man at all, of course, but the longer she looks at him, the more she begins to think that he’s looking at her like she’s beautiful. Like despite the grief she’s expressing, she’s still something he wants to look at, and he doesn’t even know her name.
And, for the first time since she got that phone call last week, she feels that taut line of tension loosen just enough for her to finally catch her breath.
Biting the inside of her cheek, she brings her other hand up to rest atop his, the move startling him slightly as if he hadn’t realized he was still offering her that bit of comfort. She doesn’t make any verbal note of it, because she doesn’t want to lose it, and he’s done the exact opposite of making her uncomfortable. He’s made her more comfortable in this town, in this house than she has been all week.
“What’s your name?” She asks, eyes wide and imploring as she looks at the beautiful, blue-eyed mystery man.
She’s not sure what he sees in her own eyes, but she hopes it’s as unintentionally endearing as whatever is in his.
“Klaus,” He breathes out, voice practically a whisper. “Klaus Mikaelson.”
Her brows twitch in a slight furrow as she processes his name, and she feels her smile grow larger despite herself. “Klaus,” She echoes softly, immediately liking the way it feels rolling off her tongue. She offers her name in return, and feels his fingers twitch where they rest trapped between her skin, a source of heat that’s making her feel something she can’t quite put her finger on.
“Klaus,” She says again, watching the way he responds to her, feeling her heart race as the blue rings of his eyes expand. “Would you do me the absolute biggest favor, and help me escape from this place?”
He chuckles, and his hand clamps down on her arm, the pads of his fingers pressing into the soft skin there. “Where do you want to go?”
She shrugs, an easygoing smile on her face. “I haven’t decided yet,”
He ducks his head in a dutiful nod, standing up carefully and pulling her with him. “We’ll figure it out on the way, then. After you?”
She intertwines their fingers and pulls them towards the stairs that lead down and away from the house, and spares a glance back at it, shaking her head wistfully. Her grandmother hadn’t been wrong about what this town could offer her, it seems. But then again, there was never any doubt in her mind about that to begin with.

I was going to kill Klaus Mikaelson.
Unlike the other thousand people who'd probably had that thought in the last week alone, however, mine was actually justified. For hundreds of years, Nik and I had been together, happy, and in love. We'd wandered the world together, side by side, having each other's backs through thick and thin. Out of everyone in the entire world, I was the only one he'd always trusted, completely, without a doubt in mind.
And then Mikael had shown up one time too many.
Nik and I had faced him a few times, and he had firmly held the spot of 'my least favorite Original' for literal centuries. We'd always come out shaken, but fine, until about a hundred and fifty years ago. That time, he'd gotten Nik cornered, so I'd jumped in to save him. Mikael had almost killed me instead.
We'd managed to both make it out alive, thankfully, but Nik had been foaming at the mouth with nerves and fear. I'd tried to calm him down, but it hadn't worked. He'd gotten too scared, so for the first time in our entire relationship, he broke my trust. He compelled me to forget him, and to go somewhere else, far away, where I'd never be put in danger by him and his family again.
It had worked, unfortunately for me. Until recently, when something had happened to break the compulsion and bring my memories back. At first, I'd been terrified that it meant Nik had died. But, after a little investigating and compelling of my own, I realized he'd been body-hopping with the help of witches. Something about it must've shaken his compulsion loose, and allowed me to remember.
It hadn't taken me long to track him down to Mystic Falls, Virginia. I couldn't help being a little proud of myself for finding him so quickly; it helped that I knew him well. I'd arrived in Virginia last night, and managed to track down Nik's exact location and hiding place just as quickly. He'd apparently taken over the body of a history teacher at the local high school. Who would I have been to miss that opportunity?
With a little more compulsion, I'd convinced the front office staff to let me into the teacher's history class. I found a seat to one side of the classroom, then settled in to wait for Nik to show up. I almost blew my cover when, a moment later, the spitting image of Katherine Pierce walked through the door.
I knew he'd come to town for the doppelgänger, but it was still surprising to see someone who looked just like Katherine. Apparently, that lie we'd planted about the Curse of the Sun and the Moon had been working out pretty well. She sat on the other side of the room from me, flirting with another vampire and sitting with her witch friend. I sighed, already ready to leave the classroom, when Nik finally walked in.
The teacher, Alaric Saltzman, was tall, with brown hair, and dressed in something I could almost see Nik wearing normally. He strode through the open door with a "hello class" and went right to his desk like it was any other day. I snorted.
"What... are we learning today?" he mused, flipping through his history book. He hadn't looked up once; hadn't had a chance to see me yet.
"With the decade dance tonight we've been covering the sixties all week," a girl in the front chimed in. Nik looked up.
"Right. The sixties."
For the first time, he turned, and I thought his eyes might finally find me. Instead, they found the doppelgänger—Elena—like a heat-seeking missile.
Understandable, since we didn't think she existed. But still annoying.
He glanced from her to the open classroom door, then turned to the board. I huffed a sigh and rolled my eyes. What was he gonna do, just grab her and run? Much too obvious for his style, and we both knew it.
"The uh... the sixties," he started, mentioning the decade for the third time now as he turned around to write the same words on the board. "...I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties."
I covered a snort with my elbow. I almost raised my hand to say something like "Maybe they would've been better if you'd still had me with you", but that was also too sloppy for my style. Too many students asking questions, seeing me, and too many enemies possibly getting hints about Nik.
"They actually kind of sucked," Nik continued. "Except for the Beatles, of course, they made it bearable."
His eyes strayed to Elena's witch friend, and my heart squeezed in my chest. Nik was recounting memories that didn't include me, when I should've appeared in almost all of them. The hurt was only semi-manageable because I wasn't looking at the love of my life's face while hearing this, too.
"Uh, what else was there? The Cuban Missile... thing. The uh... we walked on the moon, that was, uh... Watergate."
"Watergate was the seventies, Ric," Elena chimed in with a fond smile. "Uh, I mean, Mr. Saltzman."
"Right," Nik continued, a familiar edge to an unfamiliar smile. His eyes never strayed from Elena. "It all kind of... mushes together up here. Sixties, seventies. Thank you, Elena."
I watched him teach the rest of the class in a way that could only be described as 'playing with his food'. He said Elena's name another time or two, savoring it in a way I recognized as him relishing in victory. I was happy to see him happy, but the added side effect of him being so wrapped up in doppelgänger nonsense meant that he still hadn't noticed me.
I tried not to let it get to me. Especially since it had given me the best opening I could've asked for to scare the daylights out of Nik and get just a little bit of payback.
Once the bell rang, I stood and hovered at the edge of the classroom. Nik dismissed everyone and said goodbye to the class, saying a special, specific goodbye to Elena and watching her leave. It wouldn't have been terribly obvious to anyone with no reason to suspect 'Alaric' was not who he said he was, but it was ridiculous to me.
Nik moved to the door to look out into the hallway as the classroom emptied of every single student except for me. He watched Elena go, his back to what he thought was an empty classroom, giving me exactly the opening I wanted. I crossed the room quickly but quietly, using all of my vampire skills to keep him from noticing me until I was right next to him, almost shoulder to shoulder.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I said, right into Nik's ear. He'd jumped and spun around at the first word, but now stood frozen, his mouth open in shock as he stared at me. I grinned. "You know, whatever you were planning to do to the doppelgänger. At school. In a human body. While she's surrounded by supernaturals. That's just a bad idea."
"Y/N..." he breathed, voice barely above a whisper. Then, he surged forward, wrapping me tight in his arms and spinning me around in a hug. He moved backwards into the classroom, and I slammed the door with my heel just to avoid any prying eyes.
Nik finally pulled back, eyes wide and a vague smile on his face, like he was happy but didn't actually believe this was real. I smiled back at him, even though he didn't quite look like my Nik, and gave his hands a reassuring squeeze.
"How... how is this possible?" he asked, his voice still quiet, like any loud noise might shatter the moment. "How are you here?"
"I still don't totally know. But I think, when you moved into this... teacher body... it was enough for your compulsion on me to break."
Nik's face fell immediately, as it should have. I frowned, the immediate happiness of finding Nik having worn off.
"I can't believe you did that to me, Nik," I said, taking a step back from him. "It was supposed to be the two of us, through everything. Against everything. No matter what. How could you betray that?"
He gave a frown of pain, taking a half step towards me before thinking better of it.
"You don't understand. My... Mikael... almost killed you. If I'd been the cause of your death-"
"Okay, first of all, you would never be the cause of my death. You know how I know? Because you would never kill me." I stared at Nik long and hard, and although he looked away from my gaze quickly, I never did. "Second, the only person who would've been the cause of my death was Mikael. You are not responsible for a bad person trying to kill me."
"Unless that bad person is trying to kill you to get to me." He said it quietly but firmly, looking up at me with a rueful smile from lowered lashes, like he'd just said some checkmate truth we'd both been avoiding. I put a hand on my hip and glared.
"Actually Nik, no, it's still not your fault. It's the bad person's fault. That's it. And before you start telling me it's your fault for dragging me into it or whatever, I could've left. I didn't want to, and I still don't want to. I've seen every level of crazy your life has to offer, and I'm signing up for all of it.
"And Nik, before you try to tell me how much you'd miss me if you lost me, you did lose me! By letting fear drive you to compel me out of your life. And I also lost you. I guess I've been generally content for the past hundred and fifty years, but I've never been totally satisfied. Because something is missing. I've known total and complete happiness, and it's whenever I'm with you. This immortal life isn't worth living without you, Nik. Don't try to tell me it is."
He stared at me for a few long moments, then pulled me to him again. Unlike the first hug, this time our feet stayed planted firmly on the ground, wrapped tight in the strong hold of each other's embrace. I sighed as Nik rested his head against mine, moving his mouth right next to my ear.
"I'm... I'm sorry, Y/N. I shouldn't have done that to you. I was just... terrified at the thought of losing you."
"I know. But Nik, we're nothing if we're not together. I need you to promise me you won't do that again. The two of us, side by side, for eternity. That's it, alright?"
He pulled away, hands holding my arms tight as he stared me straight in the eye.
"I give you my word."
Slowly, a smile spread across my face, a new warmth growing in my chest. Not once, in hundreds of years, had Nik ever broken his word to me. We were going to be okay.
He grinned back at me once he noticed my smile, then leaned in to kiss me. I stopped him, jerking back a bit, and he gave me a concerned look.
"I love you, and I am so happy to see you again, but I'm not kissing you until you're back in your own body. I have no interest in kissing this rando you've possessed."
Nik grinned, and although it wasn't his body or his smile, I swear it looked exactly like it was supposed to.
"Fair enough. I don't think I want you kissing this 'rando' either. What do you say we get out of here, and do what needs to be done so I can get back into my body, break my curse, and kiss you properly?"
"...Not in that order, right?"
"No, not in that order."
"Then deal."
Nik smiled and took my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze as we headed towards the door together. I had no idea what the next part of his plan was, but once I was caught up to speed, I knew we'd be putting it into action shoulder to shoulder again, and all would be right with the world.
"You know, you're a shit teacher," I mused as we headed off into the high school together. Nik shot me a look as he kept leading me towards whatever destination he had in mind.
"Do you remember much interesting information to teach children about the sixties?"
I shrugged. "No. But I could probably fake it better than you. Watergate."
"I was in Australia, Watergate was a low priority."
"I was in Greenland, so... checkmate."
He just shook his head, a smile finding its way onto his face all the same. I was the only one in the world Nik trusted endlessly, the only one who could find him in a matter of days no matter where he was in the world, and the only one who could get away with giving him shit with absolutely no repercussions. And now that I had him and my memories back, I was never letting him go.

Despondently, you stand on the balcony of the Mikaelson residence, looking out at the lightly illuminated forest before you. Morosely sipping on the champagne in your hand, you wonder how you had gotten to feel so foolish this evening. Had you read too much into the flirtatious rapport you and Klaus maintained?
When he invited you to his family’s ball, you thought it was his way of finally asking you on a date after months spent charming you, but you are beginning to see that was an erroneous assumption. The Mikaelson had not spared one glance at you all evening, instead devoting all of his attention to a young blonde you now have an unfair disdain for.
While there is clearly a significant class distinction between you and his family, was it preposterous to assume that the continual late-night visits and luxurious gifts he bestowed you with symbolized more than the bonding between friends? Perhaps it truly is just custom to the upper echelon. Finishing off your glass, you contemplate if you should just go home early and save yourself from any further embarrassment.
“Not much of a party person are you, darling?”
You spin around, startled by the sudden intrusion– hand clutching at your chest, willing your frantically beating heart to calm. “You scared me,” you announce to the interloper, relief filling you as you take in the sight of a handsome brunet– his dark eyes alight with mischief. The corners of his lips lift into a wicked grin, sending a rush of excitement to your abdomen. “My apologies,” he states, kissing the knuckles of your hand, “I don’t believe we’ve met. Kol Mikaelson.”
Your eyes widen at the revelation of his name, recognizing him to be one of Klaus’s many siblings. “Might I add, you look radiant tonight,” the Mikaelson continues with a charismatic smile, his eyes devouring every inch of your body. A light blush paints your cheeks. At least someone noticed.
“Thank you. I see you’re just as charming as your brother.”
The brunet frowns at your statement and you realize he must not know the connection. “I’m Y/N, Klaus’s friend,” you introduce yourself– the word tugging at the seams of your heart. You despise how reckless you were, taking the hybrid’s flirty nature to heart, especially now seeing how flirtatious his brother is. It is clearly within the nature of the family to be so winsome and you fell for it, developing feelings that will be nearly impossible to get over. Your propensity to fall in love too easily has yet again damned you to heavy heartache.
“Ah, so you’re the pretty little thing that has captured my brother’s attention,” Kol acknowledges, causing a bitter chuckle to fall from your lips.
“No, I am afraid that position belongs to someone else,” you inform the younger Mikaelson, his brows drawing in confusion. You don’t allow him much time to ponder as you begin moving towards the inside of the manor, announcing your departure as you have opted not to torture yourself any longer.
“Wait,” the vampire stops you, grabbing at your wrist, “Stay. At least allow me a dance.”
You contemplate his offer, not wanting to linger around the manor any longer, but also having dedicated so much time to prep yourself for the ball, it would be a shame to let most of that effort go to waste. Besides, when is the next time you would have the opportunity to attend such a glamorous event? Reluctantly, you agree to Kol’s proposal, emphasizing you were staying for a singular dance.
The Mikaelson smiles devilishly at you, “Perfect.” He offers out his arm and you accept it, allowing him to lead you into the grand room where he tells you to wait for him at the bottom of the steps.
A voice rings out from the stairs you just descended, garnering the attention of Mikaelsons’ guests. You watch the family gather on the beautifully decorated stairway, awed by their beauty. Each member had their own unique allure that demanded your attention– none more so than that of Niklaus Mikaelson. The suit– perfectly tailored to accentuate his physical build– was a sharp contrast to the typical Henley and jeans you see the Mikaelson wear. His mussed curls were brushed back highlighting the delicate beauty of his face. His physicality combined with the effortless, smug way he carried himself had you wanting to swoon. Your envy of the blonde deepens as your heart aches, longing for nothing more than to be by his side.
As if feeling your desire, for the first time this evening, Klaus’s gaze flits to yours and the hybrid is left mystified. He always thought you a true beauty, but to see it accentuated so magnificently left him speechless. His eyes linger, longer than he intended as he takes in the sight of you, hoping to burn the image in his mind. Pride swells in his chest as he takes note of the silver pendant dangling from your neck– the one he gave you a week ago. One of his most valued treasures.
You feel vulnerable under the intensity of his gaze, tearing your eyes away as the emotion swarming in you becomes too much to handle. You find Kol whose gaze is already waiting for you. He sends you a perilous wink, provoking his older brother’s ill temper.
“Welcome. Thank you for joining us,” the Mikaelson sibling announces to his guests for the evening, commanding the grand room.
“You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it’s tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance.”
Unknowingly, your eyes drift back to Klaus, watching as he stands with his family in all of his grandeur. Visibly distinct from his siblings as his neck is adorned in white rather than the typical black bowtie of his siblings– a symbol of just how exceptional he is.
"Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz, so if all of you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ballroom."
The room erupts with excited chatter as you stifle a groan. Your luck would have it that the one dance you agree to is a centuries-old waltz you have never performed before. Is it not bad enough that you have to deal with the self-humiliation of misreading all of Klaus’s advances, but now you will have to face an additional layer of public humiliation?
Kol is quick to meet you at the bottom of the stairs, as promised, holding his arm out for you. Reluctantly, you wrap your arm around his, confessing your inexperience as he leads you into the grandiose ballroom, lining up with the other dancers. “Don’t worry, darling. Follow my lead and you will be fine,” he reassures, smiling down at you with that devilish grin– oddly bringing you comfort.
The gentle strumming of a guitar begins as the two of you walk forward in time with the music– hands crossed in front of each other’s. Following Kol’s lead, you take another step forward, turning to face the line opposite of you. Sneaking a glance at the Mikaelson you love, you are alarmed by the animosity in his leer. You instinctively draw yourself closer to the younger Mikaelson as if his presence could protect you from Klaus’s enmity. Curious by your sudden action, Kol follows your gaze, finding the malevolent glare of his older brother– a devious grin plastering his face.
Due to the irksome rule his mother set in place of keeping peace with the people of Mystic Falls, Kol has been forced to find his amusement in other ways, like using his brother’s new plaything to make the hybrid jealous. His goal is to see how long his brother will allow him to seduce you before he snaps and causes a scene. He knows he’s playing a dangerous game, but Kol has always been enticed by danger.
A gasp escapes your lips as you are unexpectedly spun by the brunet– unprepared for the sudden movement. “Relax, darling,” Kol whispers in your ear, taking note of how stiff you are. You breathe deeply, letting the breath settle all of your nerves as you slowly give your trust over to the vampire. As instructed, you follow Kol’s lead allowing him to waltz you in a circle, traveling around the ballroom. You are quick to realize that the steps of the waltz are quite repetitive and, after a while, take no effort for you to enact. All the while, whispers of jokes and compliments have you truly relax in the Mikaelson’s arms as you giggle at his antics.
From across the room, Klaus surveys the two of you lividly. The one thing he asked of his siblings tonight was to leave you alone, and yet, there his brother was twirling you around the ballroom. He knows Kol is doing this to anger him, but he can’t help satisfying his brother’s childish urge to incense him when he watches how close the two of you are becoming. That same dazzling smile you greet him with every night is now being given to his infernal younger brother. That captivating laugh that softened the hardest parts of him was now in response to his pestilent younger brother. Those decadent curves he’s been waiting to run his hands over were now being held by his soon-to-be-dead younger brother. The hybrid begrudgingly tears his eyes away from the scene, knowing that if he does not distract himself soon, a spectacle will be made. So, he returns his attention to the blonde vampire in his arms and continues to charm her as all part of his master plan.
As you continue the steps, Kol leans in to whisper in your ear once more. Instead of the humorous observation you were expecting, he tells you, “This is the part where I leave you.”
You are not allowed time to react before you are spun out of the vampire’s arms into those of another Mikaelson sibling. As soon as the older Mikaelson’s arm wraps around you, you continue the repetitive steps, traveling in the opposite direction.
“You must be Y/N,” he speaks and you provide a nod of confirmation. “And you are?” you ask of the vampire– unsure of which Mikaelson brother you are speaking with now.
“Forgive me. I assumed with how special you are to Niklaus he would have informed you about the rest of his family. I am Elijah.”
An uncontained scoff exits your lips and the Original questions his previous statement, “Did I say something wrong?”
“It’s just that you’re the second sibling to say that to me, and yet, Klaus has not spoken to me all night.”
Elijah’s lips purse at the statement– curious as to why his brother neglected you when he made it very clear you were to remain off limits due to your status in his life. He is even more perplexed when he takes note of the pendant on your neck– a highly valuable item his brother accrued. Klaus swore that pendant would only grace the neck of the woman he deemed exemplary enough to wear it.
Nothing else of substance is exchanged between you and Elijah and the dance soon draws to an end. Bowing as you depart, Kol is by your side in an instant– arm being placed delicately on your shoulder.
“You are playing a dangerous game, Kol,” Elijah forewarns his younger brother, doing nothing to dissuade the mischievous Mikaelson.
“I’m sure I don’t know what you mean, brother. I’m just keeping Y/N company.”
Kol takes your arm, leading you away from his sibling and the rest of the ball. Unseen by you as you walk towards the front of the manor, Kol passes by the infuriated hybrid, taunting him with a wink. The seemingly trivial action pushes Klaus over the edge, having him lurch toward his treacherous brother– ready to tear out his liver. Fortunately for the younger Mikaelson, Finn had already anticipated his ill-tempered brother’s reaction and put a stop to any harm that would be done to Kol.
“You didn’t have to walk me to my car, Kol. Thank you,” you state to the vampire once you reach the old Camry that has been with you since your high school graduation.
“Mother would be furious if she found out I let a lady walk to her car alone.”
You smile up at the Mikaelson brother who kept you company for the duration of your evening. Thankful to him for unknowingly saving you from your own humiliation, you give the brunet a quick peck on the cheek, sending a streak of envy through the lurking hybrid waiting to have a moment alone with you.
“Well, tell your mother she throws a lovely ball. And thank you for the dance, it turned out to be quite nice.”
The two of you part ways– Kol leaving a final kiss on your knuckles. You rummage through the small purse you brought with you, looking for your keys, when a new voice calls out to you– one you ironically dread to hear.
“Leaving so soon? And without a goodbye.”
You turn to face Klaus, a dashing smile on his face, eyes shining with innocence as if he had done nothing wrong. “Saying goodbye implies that we even said hello in the first place,” you tell the hybrid rather bitterly, returning your attention to the retrieval of your keys.
“You’re mad at me,” he informs you as if you couldn’t figure out your own emotions. You don’t dignify him with a response, grabbing your keys and attempting to get in your car. “Come on, love. Talk to me,” Klaus pushes, further stoking your irritation with him.
“Oh, you mean like how you talked to me this evening after you were the one who invited me. Forgive me if I’m not overjoyed to see you after having been ignored,” you hiss at the Mikaelson. While you are aware you can’t fault him for your own romantic presumption, you can be angry that he invited you to an event and refused to speak. Klaus’s nostrils flare. How dare you be angry with him after you spent the evening romancing with his brother.
“Well, maybe if you weren’t so preoccupied fawning over my brother, I would have had the opportunity.” A humorless laugh leaves your lips.
“Me? Fawning? If anyone was doing any fawning tonight, it would be you with your pretty blonde date. Kol was there keeping me company while you were off galavanting with her, so don’t even try to make me out to be the villain. The only reason I even came here tonight was because you invited me. Had I known I was gonna end up being pawned off to your brother I would have stayed home! I thought this was a date, Klaus. I thought you were inviting me to be your date to the ball. Clearly, I was mistaken, so you do not get to play the victim here.”
Klaus does nothing but stare– the two of you too furious to have a productive conversation. You shake your head in incredulity at his behavior, having nothing left to say, and get into your car. How dare he be angry with you? And for what, dancing with his brother? He certainly lacked any intention of dancing with you himself. What did he expect? For you to show up and decorate the walls with your presence. The audacity of that man. You continue your rage as you drive back to your home, only relaxing once you feel the stream of hot water on your skin.
You exit your bathroom, towel wrapped tightly around your body as you shiver from the sharp temperature change. The warmth that encased you from your steamy shower becoming replaced by the chilly air of your drafty bedroom. You look towards your open bedroom window as a gust of cold air breezes by you– eyes rolling in annoyance. Typically, you leave your window open so Klaus can come in for his nightly visits, but you are in no mood to speak to the infuriating hybrid. You doubt he’ll be dropping by this evening anyway.
“Was that meant to keep me out, love?”
A frightened gasp escapes you as you quickly turn around, meeting a pair of familiar blue eyes. “You know, just because you’re a vampire and can move in silence, doesn’t mean you have to,” you scold the hybrid standing in your bedroom– back in his typical Henley and jeans. Your hand rests over your heart, willing it to recover from the scare.
He chuckles, amused by the oblivion of humans, “Ah, mortals. I forget how frightful you lot can be.” You roll your eyes at the Mikaelson, ignoring his apathetic statement. “What do you want, Klaus,” you harshly demand, tugging the towel closer to your body. He sighs, annoyed by your loitering emotions, “We’re still angry I see.”
“I am really not in the mood for this, so if you could kindly leave my house, that would be greatly appreciated.”
You turn your back on the hybrid, moving toward your dresser, hoping that he will be gone by the time you turn back around.
“I came here to apologize, love,” the Mikaelson admits, stilling your movements. If there was one thing you learned about Niklaus Mikaelson through all of the stories he shared, it was that he NEVER apologizes. “What,” you question, turning to face the hybrid, uncertain you heard him correctly.
“I’ve recently had a bit of a heart-to-heart and I realize that you are right.”
You sink to the foot of your bed– your brain having trouble processing the information it is being presented. “Okay,” you breathe, unsure of what else to say.
“I fancy you, Y/N.”
“Then why-”
“Caroline is just a mere distraction,” Klaus responds, having anticipated your next question, “You don’t live to be a thousand years old without acquiring a few enemies over the years. If anyone were to discover my feelings for you, they would use you as leverage. By devoting my attention to Caroline, she becomes the target while you remain safe. She means absolutely nothing to me.”
Silence hovers between the two of you as you analyze the gravity of this new information. All those nights you spent exchanging stories and laughing until sunrise were just as equally treasured by Klaus as by you. The flowers, the drawings, the jewelry, the little moments of silence, and the shared moments of vulnerability all were valued, all were cherished just as fondly. Your bond with the Original Hybrid had not been imagined, had not been one-sided. A smile graces your lips at this revelation. He cared for you– enough to put someone else’s life at risk. To parade around feigning love for someone so that you remained unharmed. Not only did that seem unfair to the girl, Caroline, but ironically idiotic for one of the most intelligent men you knew.
“Klaus, this has to be one of the stupidest things you have ever done,” you chuckle at the hybrid’s plan, “Rather than just confess your feelings for me, you opt to pretend to be in love with someone else so that I’m safe? You couldn’t have thought that would work.”
He frowns at your laughter– not expecting the conversation to go this way. In fact, this whole evening went rather unexpectedly for the Mikaelson. He had envisioned how the night was supposed to go, all everyone had to do was act accordingly. Now he is beginning to see not everyone is a pawn he can so easily move around.
“Yes, well, I had your safety in mind. The details were irrelevant.”
Your laughter echoes around the confines of your bedroom amused by his poor plan conceptualization. Klaus would be irritated by your laughter had it not become something he is obsessed with. And while you may think of his plan as silly and moronic, he knows how successful it was at keeping you safe, and that is all that mattered to him.
“I’m glad that you’re amused, love. May I be forgiven now?”
You smile up at Klaus unable to resist the charm of that smile. Walking towards the hybrid– the man that you adore– you bring your lips to his, finally fulfilling all of your fantasies. “I’ll consider that a yes,” the Mikaelson chuckles as you break away from the long-anticipated kiss.
"Put me through that again and I'll ram a stake so far up your-"
"Noted, love."

Can you write something about Hope really liking reader and reader who is human close of the fam, she helps Klaus with her, and she can see how much her dad likes him but he never really notice it till she brought it up. (The setup can be when Hope was a kid), not yet a teenager.
My Daughter Could Tell Before Me | Klaus Mikaelson x Reader
my masterlist ↪M A S T E R L I S T
warnings ↪alot of time skipping
Tumblr media
"Y/n can you help with Hope tonight or a few hours, we have this very intricate plan and i-" "i will be over in twenty." cutting the old hybrid off. I had been helping the Mikaelsons with their schemes for a while.
When Klaus had his daughter, they had no one to look after her whilst they faked her death. I played a big part in keeping her safe in a house in the middle of no where, free of charge of course I loved the child like she was my own.
Hope was an angel, those who sought out to kill her I'd kill them before they even set eyes on here. Despite the whole human thing.
Walking through the doors of the beautiful house that Hope was raised in "Y/N!" Hope yells loudly with a cute giggle afterwards running up to me as I pick her up "Hey Munchkin" I chuckle kissing her cheek.
"Where's Dad?" I ask her "He's in Mom's room." she says pointing up the stairs "let's pay him a quick visit before he goes, yeah?" I ask to the small child in my arms and she nods "Up, up and away," she giggles and I run up the stairs dropping my bags.
"Klaus" I say, using one arm to support Hope and the other to knock on the door, it opens a split second later to reveal an old hybrid with a huge smile as I put Hope on the floor as she wraps her arms around her father.
"Thank you" he smiles with a huff managing to hug me despite the tiny child gap between us "you know i'll pay you back later, you're just the only person we can trust otherwise we'd get Camille or Hayley who refuses to fight a war without us." he chuckles.
"No it's fine, I love the little gremlin. It's no hassle and you know I love helping you." I smile to him and he nods "everything is where is was the last time you were here, I went shopping this morning and-" "you don't need to stress Klaus. Everything will go just splendid who knows I might be able to fix lunch for everyone tomorrow." I say and he sighs in relief.
Hope lets go of her dad standing in between us "go turn the tv on and grab a bunch of pillows and blankets, fort time" I whisper in her ear as she screams running off "I'll be back tonight, I promise I'm just checking in on my family." he smiles to me "I know you'll be back." I chuckle.
"if we make cupcakes, i'll get hope to make you one." I say and he hugs me again "send my regards to your family." I say hugging him back and he pulls away eventually "I will, be safe." he says "you too." I smile.
two hours later
Hope chose to watch the incredibles which is a great movie.
"Hope hunny." I say from the kitchen "Yeah." she said peeking her little head out of the fort "do you maybe want to make cupcakes?" I ask her and she jumps up "can I make them pretty?" she asks and I laugh nodding "yes." I laugh.
"who are you decorating for?" I ask her as she sits at the table and I pull down the ingredients "uncle lijah, mom, dad, aunt freya and aunt becks oh and uncle kol he's funny, and marcel." she says and I laugh "ok that fine looks like we'll be making heaps." I smile to her and she squeals in excitement.
"Alright" I say putting my ingredients in a bowl, handing Hope a wooden spoon "just mix it up while I get the trays out" I say and she winks at me "You got it dude" she says putting the spoon in the bowl mixing everything.
an hour later
The cupcakes were ready and Hope managed to stay awake "what do you want to decorate with love?" I ask her pulling out the tray placing them on the stove top.
"sprinkles, icing and more sprinkles." she says laughing manically "you concern me" I say to her making her laugh even more.
Flipping one tray out onto a plate, hope runs over to the fridge pulling out her cake decorations throwing them on the table "alright, here you go Miss Mikaelson." I smile to her and she claps excitedly "are you going to decorate one?" she asks and I shake my head "no hunny, I can decorate you one?" I ask her and she nods "yes yes yes" she says handing me a cupcake and I laugh.
It had been three hours since Klaus had left, I'm never usually concerned for him when he leaves me with his child. He never fails at his plans and when he does he always comes back... somehow.
"look at this one i did for dad" she says flaunting her first cupcake "that was quick hope" I chuckle yet the cupcake looked amazing. I shouldn't underestimate a seven year old despite a mikaelson seven year old.
"my powers helped me." she grins "you cheeky girl, you know no powers." I point to her in a joking manner, even though it was serious not that we could be tracked or anything I was just worried that she wouldn't be able to control it.
"i know sorry." she says "it's fine hunny, if you want to use them for the cupcakes you can." I smile giving in and she smiles continuing to decorate her cupcakes.
I take a photo of the first cupcake she decorated, it had sharp fangs covered in red sprinkles and it had the word DAD written in the middle.
Klaus come storming through the door causing a loud racket and Hope spins around scared "it's fine hunny, continue decorating your cupcakes." I smile sweetly to her, rushing over to the door to see a piece of wood in Klaus' chest.
"oh Klaus" I mumble helping him upstairs laying him on Hayley's bed.
He breathed in through his teeth, angrily and I pull out the wooden stake "I don't get it, it shouldn't have hurt you." I panic "there's a knife" he says grabbing my hand a putting it on his abdomen "oh no no no" I gag.
Lifting his shirt to reveal a huge scar across his stomach.
He started sweating immensely "reach in and grab it" he huffs "i love you lot but no" I say grossed and he grabs my hand tighter shoving it through his stomach and I gag again "EW" I squeal, feeling through his insides for a blade.
My hand continues to look around until I feel a handle and pull it out, seeing my hand in blood I drop the blade retching in front of the exhausted looking Mikaelson "you drove here for that, elijah could have-" "he had other priorities." he says his breathing calming down.
Sitting up grabbing the blade off his stomach as his wounds heal "thank you" he says panting and I nod "your child is downstairs decorating cupcakes, i going to thoroughly wash my hands and when you have washed yourself you can see her. Yes." I say to him as he nods.
Gross.
My hand covered in his blood as I speed walk to the bathroom tipping half a bottle of hand soap on my hand and scrubbing at the blood turning the tap to the warm water on.
"Y/n, the cupcakes are done." Hope yells and I dry my hands off running downstairs "aw those look neat, dad just needs to clean himself up and then he'll come down and look." I say and she smiles "does that mean you have to go?" she quickly realises "no, i can stay the night" I say to her.
"Let's plate them up, oh look you decorated them all." I say and she nods dusting her hands off "they all looked bland" she says "they did, didn't they?" I ask her and she nods.
Fifteen minutes pass and Hope and I are stuffing our mouths whilst watching another movie "right" Klaus says and Hope runs over to him, hugging him immediately "where are those cupcakes?" he asks and Hope directs him to the table as the both sit down and eat. I continue to watch the movie.
"these are so good" Klaus says practically melting and I smile to him "yeah y/n made them, she's very good to you, you know." I hear Hope say to her dad and I pretend to not listen.
"she is isn't she hope?" Klaus asks his intelligent daughter "you must like her if you trust her with me." she says in a cheeky tone and I almost spit out the food in my mouth but I manage to keep it in.
I walk over putting the plate in the dishwasher "Hope, don't harass your dad." I laugh as does she "I'm asking dad a question" she says defensively "a question that made him look deep in thought." I say to her and she nods.
an hour later after putting hope to sleep
"She's asleep" I say to Klaus walking into the living room, Hope had gotten me to read her, her favourite bed time story for her to go to bed.
"Thank you" Klaus says still sitting at the kitchen "It's no problem" I walk over to him sitting down "How were the cupcakes?" I ask him "as sweet as you" he smiles to me "right well not that good I assume" I say making him laugh "don't be ridiculous" he says.
"did you know what Hope asked me, before you walked over." he turned his head to face me and I shake my head lying "you're lying" he says with a gentle smile "I won't kill you for it, she'd hate me, i'd hate me." he says "I just couldn't believe that my daughter could tell before me." he continues.
Placing a hand on my cheek "I do like you, maybe that's why i like you here with her all the time." he smiles admiring every flaw in my face, in my forehead and cheek area "i trust you more than i trust people that are closer to me." he says.
"funny, if you want me to live here with her you don't have to seduce me to do it." I say getting up out of my chair, I knew what Hope had asked but I didn't realise that she had actually made him think about it whilst I put her to bed.
"i'm serious" "as am I" I say taking his palte putting it in the dishwasher "I admire your fearless personality, I also admire the fact that Hope likes you more than me at times" he smirks "and I dont admire your fearless personality, its annoying to a very large extent, i do however admire your child" I say making him laugh.
"but your daughter could tell before you, she's 7 klaus. you're 1000. I think you're slacking" I laugh

Could you make something like where klaus' girlfriend/wife is really attractive and all of his enemies want her(like lucien or tristan)?
Everybody wants to steal my girl
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x reader Summary: Klaus (and you) have been struggling with hybrid's jealousy for 1,000 years. It doesn't help that you're stunningly beautiful and that all his enemies want to steal you from him. But Klaus will not let his wife ever leave his side—or worse, lose her feelings for him. Even if he is "slightly" insecure about himself. Warning(s): jealous Klaus, jealous reader, a bit smut (I think) but not 18+, Klaus being an insecure puppy Word count: 7k I guess
Tumblr media
She's been my queen since we were sixteen, we want the same things We dream the same dreams, alright, alright?
Klaus stormed into the abattoir in a rage. He promised himself that he would rip Lucien's heart out of his chest as soon as the circumstances were right, making sure he had suffered enough for his heinous act beforehand.
Klaus was the only one who could flirt with his wife.
He'd have to make sure that this pathetic creature got the message the next time they met. Lucien had condemned his life to death anyway, but Klaus might have had the pity to spare him from his creative torture.
Y/N didn't like it when he got blood on the floor. And when their daughter Hope came into the world, she tried to keep the violence around her to a minimum. Which didn't mean Klaus shouldn't fight every potential suitor of his baby's mother. Hope would agree with him if she was old enough.
When he calmed down, he decided to look into the room of their miracle child. He smiled, leaning against the doorframe as he saw Y/N putting their daughter to sleep. She sang an Old Norse lullaby they both knew from their human days.
Klaus flashed back to the days when he was just a teenager, head over heels in love with the daughter of their village chief. Then he wouldn't even have had a chance to hold her hand in public. His family was lower in the village hierarchy, which meant he could only dream of marrying a(n) Y/N. Which didn't stop them from falling in love. And turning her into a vampire with the Mikaelson siblings—the only thing he owed to his mother.
They both wanted and dreamed of the same thing: being together. They've had their ups and downs over the past thousand years, but they've always stayed together. She was the only person in their family that Klaus had never stabbed. Besides, he couldn't. She was a hybrid, just like him. After breaking his curse, it turned out that their lost dreams of having a family together weren't all that lost. Hope appeared. And they both hoped she wouldn't be their only child. But first, they had to deal with their enemies.
Klaus knew he would do anything to protect his girls. And in moments like this—when Y/N smiled softly at him, holding their sleeping daughter in her arms—he knew that his efforts were damn well worth the hard work and sleepless nights.
His wife might just not be so irresistibly, wonderfully beautiful at every fucking moment of the day. It would have saved him a lot of nerves and fits of jealousy every time someone flirted with his goddess.
"Tough day?" Y/n asked, placing her hand on his cheek. Klaus didn't even notice when she approached him.
"It's better since I've seen you, love." he murmured, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her to his chest to bury his nose in her delightfully fragrant hair.
Klaus adored every inch of her.
I know, I know, I know for sure Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
On days like this, Klaus was more murderous than usual.
Y/N knew full well that after agreeing to Tristan's polite request for a dance, Klaus was going to explode tonight. Not that she wanted to dance with the brother of a bitch who wanted to take her husband. Tristan's compliments to her, or even the subtle hints of his attraction to her, weren't pleasant to her either.
That was the plan: she was to distract Tristan while Klaus and Freya searched their house. The only thing Elijah didn't take into account was Klaus' enormous tendency to get jealous every time he touched her or received a compliment from another man.
Y/N could have sworn she saw Kol in the crowd eating a pack of popcorn, waiting for things to happen.
So she wasn't surprised when Klaus appeared at one point, snatching her from Tristan's arms with a warning growl. Or that he later marked her neck carefully and every inch of her body that had been contaminated by another man's hands.
Y/N was HIS and no one could ever change that. Not when he was around.
Elijah then burst into your room, being very annoyed at his brother's behavior. But honestly? He should have known better than to hope Klaus wouldn't give in to his jealousy. Tristan was lucky he didn't rip his hands off on the spot. On that day, the second of their first-turned vampires handed down a death sentence. Klaus wouldn't let anyone steal his wife.
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
The cup of bitterness overflowed in Klaus when Lucien approached you on your annual "wedding anniversary" date. Yes, Klaus dared to show enough of his sentimental and tender side to declare this day a national holiday. No murders and no bodies on this day - that's what he promised you thousands of years ago.
But when he brought your order to the table and saw Lucien shamelessly flirting with you in front of him, inviting you for a drink at his suite, he seriously considered breaking that oath.
Unfortunately, he couldn't do that. He would rather avoid your wrath.
So instead, he walked over to your table with a sly, confident smirk, put the food on the table, and, grabbing your chin, pulled you close to kiss you passionately in front of the vampire.
He was marking his territory.
You smiled as Niklaus ignored Lucien's awkward grunt, only kissing you fiercely. He only let you go when he was sure your lips were swollen enough from his kiss. He smirked at your slightly disheveled state.
"Were you very bored without me, love?" he asked, playing with your hair.
"I kept her company, Klaus." the hybrid winced at Lucien's voice. He mustered up all the rest of his patience and turned his head, acknowledging the vampire's presence.
"Oh really? I didn't notice you, Lucien. You can go now." he brushed him off, turning back to you. Disgust in his gaze gave way to pure adoration. You were always amazed at how quickly you could change his mood with just your presence.
"Nik, sweetheart, it's very inappropriate to talk like that to our oldest friends, isn't it? Lucien, darling, we'll continue our conversation someday. You have to forgive me, but I promised my grumpy husband that I would focus all my attention on him today." you excused the two of you with a cute smile. Lucien just nodded, blushing.
You grabbed Klaus' arm and pulled him out of the bar before he lunged at the vampire.
"Niklaus, my heart and soul, you know I'm only yours, right?" you asked, kissing his cheek to stifle the surge of his jealousy.
"Yes. Which doesn't mean that this creature knows it too. And I'm not grumpy." he grunted, the furrow of irritation on his forehead deepening as he remembered Lucien's sweet words to you. He wanted to vomit as soon as you answered him in an equally nice and polite tone. "Every enemy of mine has a crush on you anyway; even my father doesn't feel disgusted and murderous toward you."
"Yes? You should have seen Aurora's face when she passed us a few minutes ago. She must have sent Lucien here to spoil our evening."
"Wait a minute, love... is that why you've drawn me to this very nice, unexpected, passionate, mind-blowing kiss in the middle of the street?" he asked with an incredulous smirk, watching with satisfaction as a treacherous blush crept onto your cheeks.
"What am I supposed to say? You're as territorial in this relationship as I am. Besides, we don't want to give our enemies the false impression that we see anything but each other, do we?"
"It's good to know you get jealous of me from time to time too, love."
"Time to time? Please, have you seen yourself in the mirror? I'm still at war with all these horny women who want to steal you from me. Such cheekbones, wonderful eyes, and an English accent are the dreams of many."
"Maybe, but I'm probably the one who chases away the most suitors out of the two of us. You have no idea how many people have had a crush on you over the centuries."
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Oh yeah Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Alright Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na She belongs to me
There was going to be a celebration of the summer solstice in their village. Young Klaus was just waiting for you to sneak out with him after the ceremonial rites for your own celebration.
You've been courting each other for over three years now, and today Klaus was finally going to pluck up the courage (with the help of Elijah and Rebekah and Kol's teasing) to propose to you. The ring was safely in his pocket, and the sword was well hidden where the two of you were supposed to spend a romantic evening.
Everything was planned and ready. Nothing could go wrong today. He anticipated and ready for every circumstance, and his mother (the only one of your parents who knew about this secret relationship) promised him to keep his father away from your tryst's place.
But it never occurred to him that another man would try to steal you away from him.
Thor Ragnarsson, the strongest and most powerful young warrior from their village, has been dancing with you since the beginning of the night. And it didn't seem like he was going to let you go that easily, and after the rumors he heard from Kol, Klaus found out that the man wanted to court you.
Klaus had a panic attack. How could he—weak, one of the many sons of a lesser warrior—compete with such a man for your hand? Thor could give you much more than he can. He was stronger, richer, more famous, and handsomer... No. He couldn't think like that. Not when you were destined for each other by fate, stars, spirits, gods, or whatever was watching over you. He had to do something, and fast, before that son of a bitch charms you and you forget the boy who wrote you poems and painted your portraits on the bark of trees.
Klaus may not have been the strongest, but he had something that many of their villagers lacked. He had the cunning, brains, and skill of the best assassin. He will snatch you from this brute's clutches. But first he'll have to figure out how to do it (and take control of the deepening feelings of jealousy that clouded his good judgment.)
Thor only had two weaknesses. Beautiful women and strong drinks. He doubted that he would get drunk so easily; they don't know each other, so even if he offered him something stronger to drink (with an admixture of sleeping herbs), he would probably refuse and sense Klaus' ruse. So he had to resort to Plan B.
"Rebekah!" he shouted, trying to find his sister in the dancing crowd. He found her pretty quickly. He grabbed her hand and pulled her away from talking to some man (whom he and Elijah needed to check out in the future) and dragged the protesting blonde to a place where they could watch you and Thor. "I need your help. Do you see this skunk who is talking to my Y/N? Please distract him so I and Y/N can run away from there. You know I wanted to propose to her tonight, and that lesser man is ruining my whole plan!"
"Couldn't you have asked Tatia? She would have helped you because of Elijah."
"They got out of here before Kol could scare off another woman. Please, Rebekah. Won't you do it for your favorite brother?"
"She better say yes." she sighed in defeat, threading herself into the dancing crowd. After a moment, she hit Y/N's partner and winked at Klaus. He didn't waste a second. He ran over to you and, making sure everyone was too busy to notice you, threw you over his shoulder and took you from there.
"Nik! You can put me down now." she laughed at him as they entered the forest. Klaus reluctantly set her down, immediately drawing her into a passionate kiss, which she eagerly returned. "What took you so long?"
"I had to make sure the inconvenience wouldn't bother us when we sneaked out."
"That inconvenience has a name. Besides, Thor's just my friend. We both know very well that my heart belongs to only one man in this village."
"And who is it, love?"
"Well, he's quite tall; he has blonde hair and beautiful, mesmerizing blue eyes; and he's artistically talented. I've never seen more beautiful things than the ones he's made, and he's soooo jealous of me, but that's only because he loves me and he's pretty insecure about himself. Thinking about it like that, I guess I should make sure he knows how much I desire and love him so he doesn't come up with some weird ideas. What do you think?"
"I think this man was born under a lucky star to be worthy of a miracle like you."
"I forgot to add that he charms me with his words like no one else." you murmured, placing a tender kiss on his lips, which accelerated the rhythm of your already madly beating hearts. He pushed you into a tree, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you close, not wanting the world to let this moment between you ever end. You pulled away from him, placing your hand gently on his cheek. You smiled, looking at him with love in your eyes as he turned his head to kiss your hand. "I dare not agree with you. I'm the lucky one to have you, Niklaus. And believe me, nothing on this earth can change the way I love you. Nothing is even close enough to steal me from your safe, loving arms."
"So what do you say when..." he knelt down in front of you, trembling with nerves as he took a hand-made ring from his pocket. "Will I offer you my heart, soul, and body forever? You have my eternal devotion, loyalty, and love regardless of your answer, but know that it will be a real honor and a gift from the gods to call you my wife and to have a family with you. I want nothing more in this world than for you to be mine, Y/N. And I may not be the best choice; I am not very rich or strong, but I promise you that I will try to be the best husband for you."
"Oh, Niklaus, you stupid, insecure man... of course I will marry you!" you screamed with tears in your eyes, throwing yourself at him and knocking the two of you to the ground. You both laughed happily as you kissed each other's faces. Klaus gently slid the ring onto your finger.
One satisfying thought lingered in his mind as you both lounged in the field, embracing each other and watching the stars, talking about your future together.
She belongs to me.
Kisses like cream, her walk is so mean And every jaw drops when she's in those jeans, alright, alright? I don't exist if I don't have her The sun doesn't shine, the world doesn't turn, alright, alright?
"Any party you forgot to invite me to?" Klaus flinched at your pretentious, cold tone of voice. He turned away from the table to explain why Lucien, Aurora, and Tristan were sitting at the table with him and his brothers but fell silent, trying to keep his jaw from dropping.
"You look breathtaking as always, darling. Tristan and I missed having a beautiful woman at this table." Klaus stared murderously at Lucien as he kissed your hand, ignoring Aurora's offended snort. He knew you did it on purpose.
This morning, when he asked you to take Hope to visit Aunt Hayley for the day, you were wearing a completely different outfit. Now you were wearing those annoyingly tight jeans that showed off your curves perfectly, and you knew he loved them. Paired with a plunging neckline blouse, diamond jewelry, and little makeup, you looked like a goddess. Aurora could hide in the septic tank with her elegant, short dress.
You smirked at Aurora, sitting down between Lucien and Tristan, across from your husband. And that, too, was a deliberate ploy. You were out of reach of his hands to tease him with your beauty even more, regaling those idiots by your side with your heavenly presence. Klaus will make sure you pay for your little feat tonight.
He shot you a warning look as he noticed Lucien inching slightly closer to you, but you ignored him completely, smiling at some comment from the younger vampire.
Oh, yes, you will definitely be punished.
"Something wrong, sweetheart?" you asked him, knowing full well where his thoughts wandered.
"No. You're messing up the world order by fawning over this scoundrel instead of sitting next to me."
"Perfectly fine, love. Just admiring your beauty tonight."
"Only mine?" you asked, casually swirling her glass of wine and glancing meaningfully at Aurora, who tensed slightly under your gaze. You smiled meanly, ignoring Elijah's staring at you with irritation.
After failing to get anything meaningful out of Lucien (Klaus wouldn't let you get close enough to use his tricks), Elijah figured Aurora's weakness for Klaus could be exploited. But this time he didn't anticipate that you'd pick up on your husband's jealous behavior.
And you were much worse than the mighty hybrid.
"You know you're the only one I belong to, love." Klaus finally answered, shocking the younger vampires. They had never witnessed the world's deadliest vampire softly professing his love and devotion to you. You smiled sweetly at him, offering him your hand, which he kissed without hesitation. You shot a malicious, defiant look at Aurora.
They thought he had you wrapped around his finger, but it turns out to be quite the opposite...
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
"Cheer up, she's just talking to him and not even of her own free will, Nik." you heard Kol calming down your husband when you tried to get information from Lucien.
For some reason, a vampire who has been impersonating your husband over the years has fallen for your extraordinary beauty and become infatuated with you.
Elijah decided to try again and use this to your advantage, much to Klaus' displeasure and fury. This time, Elijah put his other younger brother on guard. Honestly, it was fun to watch Kol occasionally hold Klaus by his henley to keep him from running towards you.
But of the two evils, Kol preferred to fight Klaus' jealousy over yours. You have proven more than once that you are a more dangerous opponent than his already bloodthirsty brother.
"Are you alright, darling?" Lucien pulled you out of your thoughts as he looked at you with concern.
"Yeah, I'm just a little tired. Hope's been getting on my nerves lately. She's so little, and she already has her dad's temper."
"A beautiful and caring woman like you deserves one night off." he said, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear and placing a flower there in the process. You had to admit that it was a very sweet gesture. You blushed involuntarily, smiling shyly at the vampire. "Will you do me the honor?" he asked, extending his hand towards you. You really didn't want to flirt with him, but Elijah didn't give you much of a way out. You hoped Klaus knew that. But from the burning look you could feel in the back of your head as Lucien led you to the dance floor, you knew you were bound to have a fit of jealousy at home.
You just hoped no one would die until you were alone in the same room with your husband to ease his jealousy.
You glanced out of the corner of your eye at Kol and Klaus' hideout. You almost burst out laughing as you saw the two brothers jostling with each other as Kol was trying hard to hold Klaus by his henley.
"Bloody hell, calm down before I put a dog muzzle around your neck!" Kol hissed at him, deftly dodging Klaus' fangs as he tried to inject him with his werewolf venom.
Fortunately, Freya came and took control of them, thanks to which the rest of the night went without incident (except that Klaus barged in at the end of the party and, together with Kol, pretending to be drunk, laughed at their ball. The divas, as always, had to show up.)
You thought everything would be fine, but on the way back, Nik didn't say a word to you, only holding your hand in an iron grip as he put up with Kol's story about what a "jealous and rabid dog" he had been throughout the whole ball.
The son of a bitch only made him angrier and escaping to Davina at the first possible opportunity after you were parked under abattoir.
The rest of the siblings got out of the car quickly, leaving you and Klaus alone. You had to defuse the ticking time bomb that was your husband before it was too late, and also on your own.
"Nik..." you began in a sweet tone, but the man didn't even look up from your joined hands as he played with your wedding ring on your finger. "Nik, listen…"
"Do you regret your decision?"he blurted out, not letting you finish your sentence.
"What?" you asked, shocked about his unexpected, serious question.
You turned to him so you could get a better look at him. He was staring at your hands nervously. You could feel his grip tightening with every second of the tense silence between you two.
"Do you regret marrying me?" he asked in a trembling, rueful voice.
"Oh, Niklaus... my best friend, my king, my soulmate. How could I ever regret marrying my first, true, epic love?" you took his cheeks in your hands, making him look you in the eyes. "I love you. All of you. In your good and bad days, and nothing can change that. None knows me as well as you do. Nobody is even close to making me feel the way you have been making me feel for these last thousand years. You are my peace, my home, my security, my heart, and my everything. There could be a billion people asking for my hand, and I'll choose you again, and again, and again. You, our sweet Hope, and your siblings are the only ones I care about in this bloody world. I'm yours, Niklaus, and I'm not going anywhere in the following eternity."
"Good." he murmured, barely holding back tears, and pulled you into a needy kiss.
You grabbed his shoulders and straddled him, knowing full well that, after moments of uncertainty like this, he needed your tender, firm touch.
And with the uncles and aunts watching over your daughter, you were more than willing to take care of your insecure husband.
The next day you woke up alone in your bed, but in a room filled with various beautiful flowers… none of them were like the one Lucien had given you and Klaus had burned.
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Oh yeah Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Alright Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na
You lay in bed together, sleeping off the long weeks of fighting the de Martels and Lucien. You finally killed them, returning to that blissful, peaceful state. AND! Hope has gained a new Uncle Finn and Grandpa Ansel. And it looked like Aunt Davina would join your happy, crazy, Mikaelosn's bunch, thanks to Kol. Klaus allowed them to look after the baby under the watchful eye of Rebekah and Freya.
It'll probably be years before he trusts them enough to leave them alone with Hope, but that's just how your husband was.
Always a protector, a warrior, repelling any evil that could reach his loved ones.
"Stop thinking. Go back to sleep." he murmured, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you closer.
Lately, he has had a strange urge to stay very close to you. Maybe it's because spring is coming? You didn't want to ask him about his wolf side yet. He was fairly new to it and... shy. You were glad that now Ansel would be able to help him understand his other half.
"I thought we established a long time ago that I disobey your orders." you started to comb his hair, smiling as you heard him purr softly. He deserved to rest after bravely defending your family. You didn't know how much time you had left until another bomb exploded in your face.
"You could at least pretend to be a little obedient to your husband." he huffed, his eyes still closed.
"Me? Obedient? I thought you knew what you were taking, Mikaelson. Now, it's too late for any returns." you snorted, amused. Klaus graciously opened one eye, staring at you adoringly.
"I did. You're mine forever." he replied seriously, making your cheeks flush furiously and your heart speed up.
"Good." you whispered, placing a tender, short kiss on his lips.
"Good." he replied, cupping your cheeks and kissing you "properly" stealing your breath away. You enjoyed a moment to yourselves, touching each other tenderly, grounding in the familiar feeling of another's lips.
You two needed it after weeks of jealousy and uncertainty on both sides. Reminders that nothing and no one can take each other away. You belonged to him as much as he belonged to you. Soul and body.
You still were kissing as Klaus slid his hand down your neck, breasts, and belly and started to lift your shirt, making you shiver every time your bare skin made brief contact with his fingertips.
Suddenly, Hope's cry came from downstairs, effectively breaking the moment between the two of you. Klaus groaned, resting his forehead against yours.
"Your daughter is calling us."
"And since when is she just my daughter?"
"Since she's been demanding our attention purely because of her current mood. You spoiled her, Nik, and she's not even 4."
"I know another woman I've spoiled, and she's not complaining about it at all. Maybe that's not a bad thing."
"Just bring her here. I need her too." you backed out, knowing full well you couldn't win this fight. Thousands of dresses, jewelry, and your portraits painted by Klaus spoke clearly against you. Hope may have been spoiled by her dad, but over the past thousand years (and probably many more to come), your husband has made sure you get everything you want. Even a fucking star in the sky.
"As you wish, love." he murmured, kissing your forehead before going to fetch your daughter.
She knows, she knows that I never let her down before She know, she knows that I'm never gonna let take another take her love from me
Klaus couldn't let his guard down. You just had to attract everyone with your beauty. Even the Salvatore brothers. He wasn't worried about Damon. He was too smitten with Elena to even think about making a move to get your affection. But Stefan… the golden, Salvatore hero—who had some dark points in common with him but was definitely a better choice than him. Bloody hell, he would want him too, if he had to choose between himself and him. So he has to work really hard to prove to you that he may be better than Stefan.
It didn't help that the younger vampire was stealing you in front of him and dancing with you most of the time at his mother's ball.
Not also the fact that you were willing to let him lead you after Klaus argued with you about Esther's intentions. You sensed something wrong with her aura, but Klaus believed (or wanted to believe) that his mother meant well. That, like him, she wanted to reunite the family.
You guys argued pretty hard about it. And now you were dancing in the arms of his enemy, honoring him with your beauty, smile and attention.
The worst part of it all was that you didn't send him a single malicious smirk. You didn't tease him like you usually did after your fights. You didn't even notice him as he watched you doggedly, tipping another glass of champagne. His name probably never crossed your mind this evening.
He played with the wedding ring on his finger, watching carefully as Salavtore flirted with you in front of him. He promised himself that this time he wouldn't give in to his jealousy. He won't play by the rules of your game, and he won't play the jealous husband. You will come to him yourself and apologize to him.
At least that was the plan until he saw you take your wedding ring off.
This was too fucking much for him.
He set his glass down on the table and with a quick, slightly unsteady step, walked over to the two of you and twisted Stefan's arm, the exact one he had dared to touch your bare shoulder.
Salvatore groaned, drawing the attention of those around you. But you stood firm as you watched your husband break at least two of his bones. He released Stefan in disgust and grabbed your hand, dragging you through the crowd of onlookers to his studio - the only place where no one would dare disturb you.
"What the hell was that?!" he shouted, slamming the door behind the two of you in anger.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, sweetheart."
"For your own good, don't make me more mad than I already am, love."
"And you, for your own good, remember that I AM NOT the meek wife you can order around! I'm the hybrid, like you, an original. You have no power over me, wolfie, no one has."
"Are you sure, love?" he growled throatily, taking a big step towards her. You backed up until you hit the wall behind you. Klaus walked over to you, your chests rubbing against each other with every breath you took.
He suddenly kissed you aggressively, taking out all his anger and insecurity on you as he bit into your enticing mouth and began sucking the slowly oozing blood. He groaned at the sweet, addictive taste on his tongue.
With one hand, he untangles your complicated hairstyle and wraps your hair around his hand, tilting your head back. While he was busy fucking your neck with kisses, you took advantage of his distraction, digging your nails into his arms, taking revenge for biting your lip. He hissed, annoyed at your bratty attitude, and pressed his lips to yours again. Once he had distracted you, he gave away two of your dresses and slapped you hard on the ass. You moaned into the kiss, rubbing against him, making him even crazier with desire. He had to control himself before you went too far for him to carry out his plan.
"Such a willing… so needy whore for me." you moaned as he brushed against your core, still teasing you, his fangs on your neck as he bit your skin gently. "What a pity I only fuck with my wife." he growled, pushing away from you and heading towards the exit.
"Niklaus!" you gasped in anger as his body heat left you.
"Put your wedding ring back on, and maybe I will help you with your... little problem." he threw over his shoulder, ignoring your shouts of protest and threats.
He didn't even get his hand on the doorknob when you pinned him to the door, kissing him passionately. He grinned, throwing you onto the piano in the corner as he caught a glimpse of the familiar black gold on your finger out of the corner of his eye. Where the fuck should always be. He leaned over you, grabbing your chin hard to make you look into his eyes. Need and lust shone in your irises, making him harder than ever.
"You're mine. I am the only bloody man who'll ever hear your sweet moaning in pleasure like a whore. Nobody can take you away from me. Don't ever dare to think you can have any lover but me."
"Then stop talking and prove it."
"With a fucking pleasure, love." he growled, kissing you hungrily as he tore your dress in half.
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
Hayley and Jackson's son stayed over at Hope's, and Klaus was more terrified than when he had fought his father. His little girl was playing with some kid. What if he started flirting with her? He had read somewhere that kids that age often find "boyfriends and girlfriends" and call every other person they are friends with that. He wasn't ready to hear from his little daughter that she had a boyfriend.
So ever since Hayley brought him in, he'd been giving the boy a stern look, much to his wife's annoyance. Klaus' reluctance gradually began to turn into indifference when, after hours of time Hope spent with her friend, he did not notice anything suspicious. They'd lasted all day, and there was no indication that the kid would have to be wiped off the face of the earth (or at least taken back to his parents immediately).
But then came breakfast. And Klaus noticed that this kid was staring at you in adoration. And he didn't like it at all.
He was not at all prepared for the insult, the insult directed at him, which the child said after you helped him cut his food.
"You are beautiful and kind as an angel. When I grow up, I will be your husband." Klaus spat out his cup of tea, choking as you tried not to burst out laughing at the 6-year-old's comment and Nik' reaction.
"Honey... but I already have a husband. He'll be very sad if I find another." Hayley called her son, who said goodbye to you and ran to hug Hope before mom took him away. You looked at your stunned husband with amusement. "Well… at least you don't have to worry about him flirting with Hope."
"This kid won't be stepping over the threshold of this house again." he growled, leaving the room to make sure the little one was out for good.
"Niklaus! It is just a child!" you shouted after him, laughing at his jealousy as you ran to make sure he didn't intimidate the poor boy.
Everybody want to steal my girl Everybody want to take her heart away Couple billion in the whole wide world Find another one cause she belongs to me
It's been quite a few years since Klaus' last fit of jealousy. After the (victory) fight against Inadu, you were finally able to enjoy a moment of normality.
You had lunch at some diner in Mystic Falls; you visited Hope at her school, and somehow it happened that a group of her colleagues accosted her. She introduced you, you chatted with them for a while, and everything was supposed to be a normal dinner with your daughter and her friends, until one of them... crossed the line.
"Now we know from whom Hope inherited such loveliness. You are very beautiful, Mrs. Mikaelson."
You quickly grabbed Klaus' hand across the table, politely thanking the boy. Hope, seeing what was going on, escorted her friends away and left you alone for a moment.
"Niklaus, he's just a teenager."
"Uhm." he muttered absently, staring with daggers at the departing boy.
"He could be our son, for God's sake!"
"Most people on this planet could be our children, but that doesn't stop them from flirting with my wife." you rolled your eyes, smiling with amusement as he growled at the boy staring at you when Hope was explaining something to him. The poor guy looked away in panic and ran away as fast as he could.
You were going to scold your husband for scaring your daughter's friends, but you decided to leave it to Hope. The smart girl knew how to talk to her father better than you. Maybe she'd finally knock those stupid fits of jealousy out of his head, with which you've been struggling for 1,000 years.
"Your pregnant wife, I would like to point out. And we're not going anywhere. Certainly not with a teenager." you said, grabbing his chin and pulling him to you so you could kiss him. Klaus grunted, pleased with the feeling of your lips on his, and automatically placed his hand on your yet-unseen belly, smirking as he felt the pulse of the youngest member of the Mikaelson family growing inside you.
"I'm back!" Hope screamed, stepping behind you with a nervous smile. You raised an eyebrow, while looking at your daughter. Oh, no. You knew that look in her eyes. Klaus had the same gaze as he was about to do... something in Mikaelson's style. "Taking the opportunity... I mean, now that you're reassuring dad. Mom, Dad, I have a boyfriend. His name is Landon, and he's coming to the family dinner on Friday for all of you to meet him. So, bye! I'm going back to school. I love you both!" she said, kissing you both on the cheeks and leaving you both stunned. You burst out laughing at Klaus' shocked, defeated expression.
"Nik? Are you okay?" you asked, still laughing. Your husband's patience really was tested today.
"I told you we should stay in bed today. I knew something bad was about to happen." he growled, giving you a menacing look as you still couldn't stop laughing. You kissed the corner of his lips, a huge smirk still on your face. Klaus rolled his eyes but couldn't hold back his smirk any longer while he was looking at you. The power you hold over him... one your smile was easily changing his mood. Even in situations like this.
"Don't be such dramatic. It's probably better that Hope is dating teens than me, right?"
"Stop it, love." he growled, putting the money on the table. He grabbed your hand and led you out of the bar.
"Stop what?" you asked, pretending to be innocent as you strolled towards your car.
"Teasing me."
"But it's my favorite part of the day… and we all know you enjoy every ounce of my undivided attention." you replied, stopping both of you in front of the car and putting your hands on his shoulders. You stared at him with a mischievous smirk, playing with his hair. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer as he leaned against your car.
"You know you're ruining my carefully crafted reputation as the greatest evil in the world?"
"I'm not too concerned about this… how about you?"
His only response was a light chuckle before he kissed you with all his love for you. You smiled, cupping his cheeks and pulling him as close to you as possible. You both loved those moments of peace between the two of you. No witches, vampires, or werewolves wanting your death. Just the two of you in each other's arms, too busy with each other to care about anything else.
"Let's go home, love. Before that bunch of Salvatores come down here with white oak stakes." he hummed tenderly, stroking your cheek with his thumb.
He could stare at your beautiful face for hours. Even if it meant dealing with the people who wanted to steal his goddess first. It was worth every effort to hold you in his arms again.
"I don't think we're on the top criminals list anymore. Stefan was recently joking that you had retired. And before you get a seizure in the middle of town, let me say that I didn't talk to him. Hope is friends with Delena's daughter. She might have overheard something."
"The gods must have punished me in some way for my many antics, so they sent me a wife to teach my daughter how to get on my nerves without even trying."
"Oh sweetheart. I love you too." you laughed as you both got into the car to go home.
Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Oh yeah Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na Alright Na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na She belongs to me
You were sitting in a rocking chair, holding your newborn son in your arms. The baby finally fell asleep peacefully, and you were afraid to make any move after hours of putting him to sleep. It looks like you'll have to sleep in this chair tonight.
"Rescue you, love?" Klaus' soft whisper tore your gaze from Henric Nikolas Mikaelson.
"I'd love to, but I'm afraid he'll wake up the moment he leaves my arms." Klaus slowly walked over to you, kneeling in front of you and gazing tenderly at the baby you held. "I guess you're going to have to come to terms with the fact that you're going to have to share me with someone else." the man rolled his eyes at the comment about his jealousy. He shifted his gaze to you and gently grabbed your hand, being careful not to let any sudden movement wake his son.
"I'll live with it as long as our kids are the only ones taking you from me."
"You are a very gracious, all-powerful hybrid." he chuckled, making a tired but genuine smile appear on your face. "Save yourself while you still can. I don't think I'm going back to bed tonight." you murmured, looking at the little usurper in your arms.
"Nonsense, you are going with me.." he lifted you from your chair with your soft, startled squeal and held you in his arms, careful not to wake your son. He carried you to the bed, making sure you were comfortable. He lay on his side, propping his head up with his hand, and stared at the two of you, spellbound. "You can sleep. I'll keep an eye on you two."
"Remember that your siblings and dad are coming tomorrow. Kol and Davina pick up Hope. And please, for God's sake, don't argue with Kol again about him being Henric's godfather, because we both know you don't want anyone else to take his place."
"Well, we always have Marcel and, God forbid, Finn. Besides, what kind of big brother would I be if I didn't torment him every chance I got?" you rolled your eyes, pressing your son to your chest, and used your free hand to grab your husband's hand.
"I just hope you didn't teach our daughter that."
"I'd be surprised if she didn't pick up on our habits herself." he murmured, kissing your hand and watching you fall into a peaceful sleep while holding your son and his hand. Your rings shone in the moonlight on your joined hands.
Yes... you were definitely belongs only to him.

do u write for damon? if u do can u pls write where he’s touchstarved and is dating reader who doesn’t like affection but since damon is affectionate towards her she got used to it but still hates it when other peoples touches her and damon is so smug about it
Tumblr media
Cute
Ive never been one for affection, PDA or anything. It’s taken a while for Damon to break down my walls.
Started off with little touched. His hand touching mine as he stood or sat beside me. Over time he managed to actually hold my hand without me putting up a fuss. Then he started seeing how close he could sit to me. Eventually he managed to have me pulled against him, sometimes on his lap if he was lucky. Often he had his head on my thigh or in my neck.
For some reason the other people in this town seem to think because he gets to be affectionate they can also start sitting really close, the other day Stefan put his arm around me. It was not on.
This morning i was downstairs sat on the couch with my feet up on the footstool. I was just sat on my phone minding my own business when Caroline strolls in and throws herself down next to me. Right next to me.
“Hey y/n, i was thinking, we should take a girls trip, me, you, Bonnie, Elena. What d’ya think?” She asked with a bright smile
“I think you could’ve asked me that over text” I murmured
“Yeah but i wanted to come see you” she smiled…and then she hugged me. She put her arms around me and pulled me towards her. I saw Damon walk in from the kitchen with a plate of food. The second he saw us the plate fell from his hands and he froze.
“Caroline. Get the fuck off of me right now”
Damon burst out laughing as Caroline backed off and he ushered her out of the house before returning and dropping to the sofa, his head in my lap making me run my fingers through his hair.
“I like when you get angry” he muttered with a grin
“People know I don’t like it, why do they insist on pissing me off?” I asked in distaste.
“Do i piss you off?” He questioned and i glanced down to him
“No…no you look cute so i cant be all that mad at you” i mumbled making him smile
“You think I’m cute?” He asked
“When you want to be yes” I murmured tracing his features with my fingers
“You’re cute too” he whispered and i scrunched my face up
“Please never say that again”
“You’re adorable”
“I hate you”
“I love you too”

To anon: Hello lovely, I hoped you liked it! <3
Love <3

“Why can’t I leave?” You questioned frowning your eyebrows.
“Because it’s not safe Love. Understand that.” Kol said, sighing softly.
You had been asking the same question for about 5 minutes and each person you asked gave you a dull short answer. You knew everything about your mates. Well everything that they would tell you that is.
You were a witch who didn’t belong to a coven who was surrounded 24/7 by original vampires and one original hybrid. You're definitely not a skilled witch though, Klaus often refers to you as his little witch. You’ve set things on fire in anger when you’ve gotten into a fight with just about anyone. Things or people.. You’ve never tried running from your power as much as you’ve thought about trying to find a way to lock up your magic and seal it away for a better day. The world is just too dangerous to sit around defenseless regardless if you know or don’t know how to work with the weapons you’ve been given.
“Why is it not safe? What’s going on? I woke up and none of you were there just for me to come find you all and you basically give me the side eye when I ask something!” You said starting to raise your voice. Kol looked at you and he could see the fire in your eyes. You were getting upset and that wasn’t something that they could deal with right now.
Kol walked closer to you grabbing both of your hands with each of his he put them both on each side of his cheeks. It was a little habit that you’ve grown when showing affection to any of your four lovers. When they’d ask why? you’d always just say “Two hands to ground you. Two eyes to calm you.” It always worked so much that when you would freak out or get anger they started using your calming tactics on you themselves.
“Darling please calm down or else you’ll bloody burn the house down.” Kol said softly staring into your eyes rubbing your cheeks with his thumbs. So you started focusing on the feeling of his hands and you felt yourself relax and doing so slowed your heart down. Him hearing this he gave you a sly smirk "Good girl." He kissed your forehead and not a second after he was gone.
"What the hell Kol!" You yelled out feeling all of your 5 second relaxation get thrown out of the window..
Sighing, you shook your head and went on a journey through the rest of the compound to look for your mates. When you did they all were in the same room huddled up together basically whispering with the occasional yell from each other.
“What’s going on?” You asked, smiling softly in hope to soften them up to spill the beans.
“Nothing of your concern.” Klaus said immediately.
While Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol were huddled up Freya was off to the side mixing up some herbs. You couldn’t tell what they were but off the back you knew they were very strong protection herbs.
“What’s going on?” You asked sternly, shifting your eyes between your four loves and Freya.
“It’s nothing-”
“Stop fucking with me and tell me what’s going on! Tell me why you have the walls sealed up like were all stuck here in hell on earth it’s fucking hot in here! Why is it so hot!” You ranted as your mates watched you with wide eyes. Some eyes were full of shock, others were filled with admiration.
“Oh my god the curtains!” Freya said, jumping up, making you turn around to see that you set the curtains in the room on fire.
“My what is your constant need to try to burn us all to oblivion my little witch?” Klaus questioned. Turning to him you only saw admiration from him.
It was one of the things that made you love him more and more. The fact that you could burn the whole world to ash he would be right next to you cheering you on with a smile on his face. Elijah would lecture you on how you’d feel after the world was finished burning. Kol would be on the same page as Klaus, just happy to start some chaos with his love by his side. And Rebekah well it would all just depend on her mood of that day.
It made you feel less of a freak. An uncontrollable freak.
“I didn’t mean to.” You said calmly.
Freya tamed the fire with her powers but they've all learned that your flames only go out depending on your mood. And as long as you were upset or irritated the flames could and would raise at any given time. So the only reasonable thing would be to tell you what’s going on.
“Come on Nik wouldn’t you rather her know or burn down the bloody compound?” Rebekah asked, looking at Klaus.
“It will upset her. And you see what happens when she’s upset.” Klaus said frustrated that this was even still a conversion.
“It will bring her some peace, knee Klaus.” Elijah said always thinking of your well being.
“Fine bloody tell her and if we all burn don’t look at me for help.” He said plopping down into a chair further away gesturing at someone to go ahead and tell you the news.
“Marcel is planning on killing us all.” Kol said calmly.
“What?!” You yelled out with wide eyes causing the fire around to come back full force.
“Calm her!” Freya said no longer able to tame the flame.
“What did I tell you?” Klaus said, rolling his eyes.
“Bloody hell I liked those curtains.” Rebekah said, shaking her head.
You didn’t know much about they’re history with Marcel. All that you knew was he was supposed to be a friend of some sort and sometimes family? It was complicated, They said something that you never found yourself interested enough to pry about. So you didn’t. If you didn’t ask any questions you wouldn’t see him as anything more than a friendly vampire who they throw hands with sometimes. You never thought it was that deep. Until now.
“Why is he trying to kill you-”
“Never mind the reason why thousands of people want to kill us for so many different reasons.” Elijah said plainly like it was just so simple.
“They've crafted yet another weapon to try to unleash downfall upon us. It is yet another useless thing that will cease to exist once we're all done.” Klaus said, walking to you.
As he walked to you he held eye contact with you making your heart yet again flutter. Grabbing both of your cold hands with his warm ones giving you a sly smirk he then said.
“You have nothing to worry about. Especially if your worries are about us love. What you should be worried about is what curtains are going to replace the ones you’ve just burned down for no reason.” He finished kissing your lips gently but quick as he pulled away he let go of your hands and speedily walked away. Not even giving you time to say goodbye and good luck.
The flames being gone Freya also turned to leave the room. But before she left completely she said “Try not to burn anything else while we're gone yeah?”
“I didn’t mean to.” You said shuffling from one foot to another.
“I think it’s sexy how destructive you are.. As long as you are nowhere near my closet.” Rebekah said smiling kissing your forehead following behind the two who just left the room. You watched as she walked away and when you turned another there were only two left. Kol and Elijah
“Kol-” You started but was rudely cut off.
“Nope, I've already said my greetings and dismissals to you love. I couldn’t bear to do it all over again.” He stated giving you a forehead kiss on his walk out of the room.
“What the hell?” You whispered to yourself shaking your head.
“You should eat something. Read what I’ve laid on your bed, It should give you what you need to know on how to control your magic. It was my mothers.” Elijah said, taking a few long strides to you and stopping in front of you.
“Are you going to kill him?” You asked in hopes the answer was going to be no. You knew Marcel was like an on and off family member.
“If we must, I will lay down his life myself for the sake of my family.” He said sternly, smoothing down his suit.
“I thought he was family?” You questioned looking up at him.
“Sometimes family turns to foe and there's nothing you can do but save the family you have left.” After he said that you saw he was in deep thought. His eyes looked to be lost in the mist of fog. Right when you were going to say something he opened his mouth.
“I’ll make sure they control themselves. Please eat.” And with that he laid his hands on the sides of your face and kissed the top of your head. Your daddy issues were screaming, not even gonna lie. When he let go he walked away leaving with the others which left you alone with yourself and the one thought you had.
“What the hell is there to eat in this house besides blood?”

Day Thirty: Elijah Mikealson + Overstim
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elijah has been fucking you for hours now, or at least that's what it seems like to you. With his relentless thrust, he's never close and never gives up.
It had started all because you had teased him with a short dress during a family dinner with his brother and sisters. It gave little to the imagination. Thighs were on display for everyone to see, and the valley of your breasts was prominent.
Elijah's sisters had given you praises when the two of you arrived. Freya hugged you tightly and gave you a knowing look as she saw your sundress. Rebekah had embraced you just like her sister had, but when you released each other gave you a twirl of her wrist. Wanting you to show off the dress to her.
The eyes of his brothers were what you assumed pissed him off first. Klaus had raked his eyes over you when you first arrived, but Kol was handsy with his hug holding you hostage almost.
His cock had your hole bruised and swollen. "I told you that Kol was no good. I bet you just loved him touching you." He groaned. You've been shaking your head, trying to make him believe you, but he won't stop fucking you.
"I. DON"T. BELIEVE. YOU." With every word, he gave a hard and mean thrust. Skin slapping against skin, Elijah's fingers were bruised into your skin, but as much as you hated how you had gotten here.
You couldn't dare say that you didn't enjoy Elijah's rough pace and how he had his hand around your throat. You were so cock drunk on Elijah's cock that you didn't notice him reach over to the side table drawer and pull out one of your toys.
Your bright pink vibrator buzzed in his hand. Before you even notice the loud buzzing of your toy, you can feel the buzzing hit your swollen clit. "ELI… I can't>" You're so deep that you try anything to push away from the overstimulation of the vibrator. His thumb has been okay playing with your clit gently, but this is horrible. It's never-ending.
"IF you want it to stop, then you gotta cum, just one more time, baby. Cum on cock tell me you own this pretty little soaked pussy." Your head rolls back into the satin pillowcase, and your eyes roll into the back of your head as you cum around Elijah's cock. "Hmm, such a good girl…" He groans as his thrust lose their rhythm.
Elijah's head falls into the corner of your neck and shoulder when he hits his high, leaking into you. "I'm sorry, Eli," You whisper to him. He picks up his head. Hazel's eyes look into yours, "It's alright, sweetness; I might have overreacted." You smile before pressing a small kiss onto his plump lips.

It had been centuries since you last saw him, and now there he was, effortlessly moving through the bustling crowd of New Orleans, a warm smile on his face.
You weren't sure what to do, having never anticipated you'd see the Original again, at least not in such a setting as this.
As you watched him move through the crowd, his skin practically glowing in the sun, you noticed he looked happy. His eyes seemed to have been stripped of all the anger he once carried in them.
You weren't going to be the first one to make a move, but you weren't exactly going to let him slip away from you either, so as he began walking down the street, you followed him.
It wasn't long until you had followed him into what seemed to be a workshop, and all the while you had been practicing what you would say in your head. You wanted to seem unbothered by his presence, as though you had never noticed his absence.
Yet here you were, hiding on the other side of the wall, your stomach doing somersaults at the mere thought of actually approaching him.
"I know you're there, (y/n)." Klaus's voice suddenly came, startling you. "There's no need to hide away, you know. I don't bite." You could practically hear the smirk that accompanied that last sentence.
"Who ever said I was hiding?" You countered, coming out from behind the wall and entering the workshop to find him grinning at you. This was not the same Klaus you had left all those years ago. "For all you know this is an attack."
He just chuckled, his mouth still twisted into a smirk. "I think we both know you would never try to attack me."
You both stood in silence then, your skin seemingly ablaze as you stared him down. You had nothing more to say, yet you couldn't seem to move yourself from this spot.
"You're looking radiant as ever, by the way." Klaus suddenly spoke, a fondness in his eyes as he looked at you. "You would never think that centuries had passed since we last spoke."
"What ever happened to you Klaus?" You answered, folding your arms across your chest. "You were insufferable the last time we were together. What changed?"
He smiled then, lowering his gaze slightly as though in thought. "I'm living in one of my favourite places in the world, where I'm free to do whatever I please, that's what happened."
"So you've gone soft." You accused, your lips forming into a smirk as you watched him.
"Oh, I can assure you love, I have not gone soft."
"Would you care to prove that?" You challenged, feeling rather confident now as you faced him.
But before anymore words could be passed across the room, he was standing in front of you in a blur, so close you could feel his hot breath on your face.
"You don't scare me, Klaus." You tried to say, although it was difficult to be assertive with him this close to you.
You didn't want him to know what he was doing to you, but from the smile playing at his lips, it seemed he had already heard your quickening heartbeat, your shallow breaths becoming caught in your throat.
"Niklaus." You breathed out when you felt his fingers brush along your forearm.
"Say that again." He whispered, and his voice sent shivers down your spine.
"Niklaus." You repeated, your breath still coming out in shallow puffs.
He leaned closer to you then, his fingers travelling further up your arm, and then he kissed you. And you swore you could've died right there. With his soft lips against yours, his fingertips curling around the back of your neck.
It was like no time had passed as your mouths molded together, Klaus never breaking the kiss as he began to push you in the direction of a nearby table.
He wasted no time in lifting you onto the wooden surface, his hips already slotting between your thighs as he pressed himself against you.
And you struggled to contain a moan as you pushed your hips into him, his hard cock pressing into you.
It shouldn't have been so easy for him to get you into this position, but there was just something about him that was so intoxicating. All these years, despite your reluctance to admit it, your body had belonged to Klaus. No matter who you were with, you'd always found your mind coming back to him. And you hated him for it.
In an attempt to gain back some control, you reached down, hastily undoing his jeans. And surprisingly, he let you.
You pushed him backwards, sliding off the surface of the table, and you soon found yourself on your knees, your hand closing around his cock.
You heard him groan at the motion, his own hands instinctively reaching down to slide into your hair.
You smiled, before closing your lips over his tip, sucking on it and eliciting yet another moan from Klaus. It truly was music to your ears, and it only spurred you on.
You took him fully into your mouth, slowly bobbing your head up and down his length, and you felt his grip tighten on your hair, his fingertips digging into your scalp. It was sensational.
"Oh, how I've missed you, love." Klaus groaned, his hips starting to lightly thrust into your mouth. "Bloody Hell."
It wasn't long until he was coming undone before you, his breath quickening and his grip on your hair tightening as you worked him towards his release.
And you felt a strong sense of pride course through you when a strangled moan ripped from his throat, his warm release running over your tongue.
You found yourself groaning as you pulled off of him, swallowing quickly with a smirk. Oh, how you loved seeing him like this.
However, your moment of control was soon over as Klaus was already dragging you to your feet, practically tossing you back onto the surface of the table as he tugged your jeans down your legs.
"I'm going to ruin you, love." He growled as he yanked your panties down, leaving you no time to prepare before he entered you.
You let out a pained moan as you instinctively reached for him, your hands finding his shoulders and gripping on for dear life as he pounded into you.
His own hand snaked up your chest, his fingers resting around your throat, and you were in pure bliss as he clenched his hand around your neck, momentarily depriving you of breath.
"Klaus." You choked, your eyes screwing shut as he continued to buck into you at a brutal pace. "Harder."
You were practically screaming his name now as he released his hold on your throat and began thrusting into you somehow even harder than before.
You belonged to him. You always would, no matter how hard you fought. And right now, with him buried deep inside you, you really didn't mind.
"Oh, how I have missed you." You whispered, clinging to him even tighter as he brought you to your release.
Klaus simply smirked before tightening his grip slightly around your throat. "And I you, love."

hi, since you have the vampire diaries as one of your new fandom. Can I please request a general yandere Klaus Mikaelson headcanon x a human reader? Thanks a lot.
❝yandere klaus mikaelson with a human partner❞
Tumblr media
A yandere personality typically involves intense and possessive love. If Klaus were to exhibit a yandere personality with a human partner, it might involve:
1. Extreme possessiveness: Klaus would be overly possessive of his partner, constantly wanting to know their whereabouts and activities.
2. Jealousy: He would become jealous and potentially aggressive towards anyone he perceives as a threat to his relationship.
3. Isolation: Klaus might try to isolate his partner from friends and family, wanting to keep them all to himself.
4. Intense declarations of love: He would frequently express his love in an obsessive and sometimes threatening manner.
5. Willingness to do anything: Klaus might go to great lengths, including violence, to protect or keep his partner by his side.

Klaus Mikaelson, the formidable and ancient vampire, had found something he cherished above all else in his long, tumultuous existence - a human girlfriend named (Y/N). Their relationship was a source of both immense joy and profound torment for him. Klaus's yandere tendencies were well-hidden from (Y/N), who saw only his charming and protective side.
Tonight, they were dining at a luxurious restaurant in the heart of New Orleans, a city Klaus had once called home. The dimly lit ambiance and the soft piano music provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening. (Y/N) looked stunning, her smile illuminating the room as she perused the menu.
As they sat down at their reserved table, a waiter approached to take their orders. Klaus couldn't help but notice the young man's gaze lingering on (Y/N) for a moment too long, and a surge of jealousy coursed through him. He clenched his jaw, his lips curving into a tight smile as he observed the waiter's actions.
"Good evening," the waiter greeted, his eyes still locked on (Y/N) as he handed them the menus. "Can I start you off with something to drink?"
(Y/N) looked up from her menu and ordered a glass of wine, her eyes warm and friendly as she engaged with the waiter. Klaus instincts flared up as he watched their interaction. He stand the thought of another man showing any interest in his beloved (Y/N).
Klaus leaned in closer to (Y/N), his voice taking on a possessive tone. "Darling, perhaps we should order quickly. I have a strong desire to savor every moment of this evening with you." His words were meant to signal to both (Y/N) and the waiter that she was his and his alone.
The waiter, seemingly unfazed, jotted down their drink order and nodded, "Of course, sir."
Klaus's eyes never left the waiter as he walked away to give their order to the kitchen. His grip on (Y/N)'s hand tightened. His mind raced with thoughts of what he might do to anyone who dared to steal her attention.
The luxurious restaurant provided the perfect stage for Klaus and (Y/N)'s romantic evening, but beneath the dimmed lights and soft music, an undercurrent of tension simmered. Klaus's tendencies had been triggered by the waiter's prolonged gaze, and he found it increasingly difficult to contain his emotions.
As the evening progressed, Klaus maintained a watchful eye on (Y/N). He couldn't help but feel his jealousy intensify every time she laughed at a joke or engaged in conversation with their server. His grip on her hand remained firm, a subtle reminder of his claim on her.
"Darling, what do you think of the ambiance?" Klaus inquired, doing his best to sound casual. He desperately wanted to redirect (Y/N)'s attention away from the waiter.
(Y/N) smiled, seemingly oblivious to Klaus's unease. "It's lovely, Klaus. I'm so grateful for this wonderful evening."
Klaus's lips curled into a strained smile, and he leaned in closer to her. "And I am equally grateful for you, my love. You bring light to my eternal existence."
Unbeknownst to (Y/N), Klaus was concocting a plan to assert his dominance and make it clear that she was his alone. His thoughts raced as he considered his next move.
Suddenly, the waiter returned with their main course, delicately setting the plates in front of them. Klaus's eyes narrowed as he watched the young man, who appeared to be just a little too friendly and attentive. A surge of possessiveness coursed through him.
Before the waiter could leave, Klaus spoke, his voice dripping with a subtle threat. "My dear, would you mind feeding me a bite?" He picked up a forkful of his meal, his eyes never leaving the waiter, who stood at a polite distance.
(Y/N) blinked in surprise but smiled, scooping up a bite of food and offering it to Klaus. He accepted it with a satisfied nod, all the while maintaining an intense gaze on the waiter.
The young server, now understanding the unspoken warning, excused himself hastily, leaving the couple in relative peace.
As the evening continued, Klaus's possessiveness became more pronounced. He showered (Y/N) with compliments, keeping her close, and ensuring that his dominance over her was clear. The tension between his desire to protect her and the need to control his jealousy grew, setting the stage for a tumultuous and precarious relationship between Klaus Mikaelson and his beloved (Y/N).
Sometime later, as Klaus and (Y/N) left the restaurant, the cool night air provided a welcome respite from the tension that had brewed during their dinner. The drive home was a silent one, filled with unspoken emotions. (Y/N) knew that she needed to address Klaus's behavior at the restaurant, but she also understood the depth of his love and protective instincts.
Once they arrived at (Y/N)'s home, she turned to Klaus with a serious expression. "Klaus, I need to talk to you about tonight," she began, her tone firm but gentle. "Your possessiveness and jealousy... they went a bit too far."
Klaus sighed, his shoulders slumping in acknowledgment of his actions. "I'm deeply sorry, my love. I can't bear the thought of anyone coming between us."
(Y/N) reached out and cupped his face, making him meet her gaze. "I understand, Klaus, and I appreciate your devotion. But you must trust me, just as I trust you. We're in this together, and no other man will ever take your place in my heart."
Tears welled in Klaus's eyes as he heard those words. He was relieved to know that (Y/N) understood his intentions, even if they had been expressed in an overbearing manner. He leaned in and gently kissed her forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment.
"I love you, (Y/N)," he whispered, his voice filled with genuine emotion. "I can't bear to lose you, and I'll do anything to protect our love."
(Y/N) smiled, her eyes brimming with affection as she embraced Klaus. "I love you too, Klaus, and I'm happy with you. But we must find a balance. You can protect me without smothering me."
Klaus nodded, his heart swelling with gratitude for (Y/N)'s understanding. "I promise, my love, I'll work on it. I'll be the man you need me to be."
(Y/N) gave Klaus a soft, tender kiss on the cheek, sealing their renewed commitment. "That's all I ask, Klaus. As long as we have each other, nothing else matters."
With their love reaffirmed and a newfound understanding between them, Klaus and (Y/N) stood on the threshold of a future where their unique and passionate relationship could flourish, despite the challenges of Klaus tendencies.

Masterlist - Join My Taglist!
Written for Fictober 2023!
Fandom: The Vampire Diaries/The Originals
Day 11 Prompt: "You lost it. Well, we lost it."
Summary: Klaus and his girlfriend have been together since they were humans, surviving together for a thousand years. They don't intend to let anything tear them apart.
Word Count: 1,352
Category: Angst, Fluff
Warnings: Canon-typical violence, not descriptive
A/N: This doesn't even follow the Originals timeline/canon a little bit lol
Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
I groaned as I slowly came back to consciousness, my head throbbing. The last thing I remembered, I'd been talking to Genevieve, a resurrected New Orleans with who'd been dancing on the line between ally and enemy.
She took a great, giant leap into the enemy category when I forced my eyes open to find her smiling at me, looking immensely satisfied with herself. I tried to stand, maybe make a move to rip her head off, but my wrists were chained to the walls on either side of me. I was trapped.
"I'm going to kill you," I spat, not bothering with pleasantries or pretending. Genevieve smiled like she'd expected me to say that.
"I know you think we're the bad guys here," she said, giving me a sympathetic expression that made me want to rip her head off. Literally. "But we're not. You've been dating the bad guy, and you've been so blind you haven't been able to realize it."
I rolled my eyes so far back in my head that I could see the wall behind me. I'd heard this same nonsense a thousand times from a thousand different people, and it never got any less irritating or boring.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Y/N," Genevieve said, walking towards me with a very menacing swagger in her step. "I'm just going to make you see the truth."
Before I could hit back with a retort, she raised her hands to the side of my head, and I went spiraling back through my own memories.
For a witch who'd managed to catch me, one of the oldest vampires in creation, in the home of my boyfriend, one of the other oldest vampires in creation, I'd expected more, honestly. But her plan wasn't particularly creative.
She forced me to relive some of my worst moments in my thousand years with Nik. We'd been together as humans, and he'd turned me not long after Esther turned the rest of them, so there was plenty of material for her to work with. Nik and I had been through hell and back, mostly due to enemies, but sometimes due to each other.
Genevieve made me sit through a few particularly bad moments, then pulled me out of her little trance, staring into my eyes like she expected some kind of connection.
"For a thousand years, he's lied, cheated, and backstabbed," she said, her voice low and grave. "He's left a trail of blood, pain, and suffering in his wake. You haven't been spared from his list of victims, even if you've convinced yourself you have."
I closed my eyes, taking a long breath in through my nose. This was getting tedious.
"We've decided to put an end to his reign of terror. We'd like you to join us. So what do you say?"
I fixed her with my best 'really?' stare, which I'd perfected using on Nik.
"Genevieve, let me explain something to you." My voice was quiet, faux-patient, with an undertone of promised violence the way I'd perfected from hearing Nik do so many times. "For more than one thousand years, Niklaus Mikaelson and I have had each others' backs, through everything. We're partners, best friends, and the loves of each others lives. One thousand years of a relationship does not come without bumps, and problems, and things we have to spend a long time working through. Every single time, we have done so successfully.
"One thousand years as a Mikaelson has also come with hundreds of people just like you, Genevieve. They've tried to get to Nik through me, or they've tried to turn me against him, or a thousand other attempts at causing us problems by breaking us apart. And not one of them, in all that time, has succeeded. And do you know what else, Genevieve?"
She cocked an eyebrow at me and gave a little snort, but I could see the way her shoulders tensed and the flicker of fear in the back of her eyes.
"Every single one of those people who tried to come at me and Nik? They're dead. And we're still standing."
Genevieve snorted, louder this time, shaking her head as she straightened and backed away from me. I stared her down, letting a feral smile slowly drag its way onto my face.
"Fine. If you won't help us, then I have no more use for you. So-"
"Oh dear. I hope that sentence isn't going to end in a threat against my lovely partner over there."
Genevieve whipped around, and I smiled at the sight we both found over her shoulder. Nik had arrived, covered in blood and grinning in the way that made my heart race. Clearly, he'd worked his way through at least some of the witches outside to get here. I grinned back at him.
"Your hold over this place, this world, is coming to an end, Klaus," said Genevieve, standing her ground remarkably well. "The two of you have terrorized this place long enough."
"Now you're bringing my girlfriend into it?" asked Nik, raising one eyebrow, a teasing tone in his voice. "Well, I really can't let that stand, now can I?"
"You're not going to have a choice," Genevieve growled. With that, she flung her arms out, whipping up a witchy storm to throw at Nik just as two more witches came into the room. Nik held his own alright—he was the Original Hybrid after all—but he couldn't stand on his own against three powers like this forever.
He needed help. And I was going to give it to him.
I closed my eyes, getting into the headspace I'd had to reach more times than I'd ever wanted to, but that had gotten Nik and I out of more than a few hard spots. Pure rage and a desire to protect the man I loved washed over me, and I pulled against my restraints with all my strength. I dislocated my thumbs to get them out of the cuffs, stifling a scream, then got to my feet and rushed Genevieve before she could realize I was free.
The next minutes were a blur. They always were, whenever Nik and I were in a fight like this. After landing a few hits and killing both of Genevieve's little helpers, I saw Nik go down. He dropped like a sack of potatoes, and I saw red as I whirled on Genevieve.
A few moments later, Genevieve followed Nik to the ground, although she was a little more dead. I stayed standing, trying to recover from the adrenaline. After I'd had a few moments, I crouched down next to Nik.
"Hey. Nik, wake up," I said, gently shaking his shoulder to try to rouse him. After a moment, thankfully, his eyelids fluttered. A second later, he sat into a seating position, looking ready for a fight. I quickly reached out to calm him, to reassure him that we were fine.
"What happened?" he asked, eyes still a little wild, even as he saw the bodies around us and started calming down.
"You lost it. Well, we lost it. Genevieve kidnapped me to get to you, you lost it on her and her little followers over that. She seriously hurt you, so I lost it and helped you finish them off. Same thing we've been running for a thousand years. We're alright."
Nik nodded, letting out a sigh and sagging a little. Then, he looked at me with a grin.
"You'd think after a thousand years they'd learn, wouldn't you?"
I sighed. "No kidding. Maybe this'll be the one that sticks."
Nik and I shared a smile as I leaned into him, kissing him softly before standing and offering a hand to help him up. No matter where we went or how much time passed, people would probably always try to come after me and Nik. But together, we were completely unstoppable. We'd spent the last thousand years proving it, and we'd spend the next thousand doing the same.

You don't know how it happened, or when it even began. You can't seem to recall when the conversations and stories shared between two friends began holding a heavier value or when the amicable gestures and platonic exchanges started carrying a deeper level of intimacy with them. When gazes started to linger and your heart rate started rising. When your thoughts began drifting more and more to tresses of dark ash blonde and pools of blue and green. When being apart for more than an hour began to feel like torture and the only time you ever felt safe was in his presence.
It happened so slowly— that feeling of love— creeping up on you when you least expected it. You had no idea it even found you till just this moment. As you stand in his doorway, heart sunk to your stomach, you realize that somewhere along the millennium together your heart lept over the line between love and friendship and your brain is just now catching up.
You watch your lifelong friend, the man that you have admired and adored for as long as you can remember, get ready for a date you didn't even know he had with a girl you already despise— simply for the fact that she isn't you.
"So, who is the lucky girl?" you ask— a forced grin painted on your face as you try to be enthusiastic. His reflection looks back at you, a mischievous glint in his eyes, as he finishes buttoning his dress shirt. A smirk stretches across his lips, almost as if he is toying with you. A predator stalking its prey— a sick satisfaction from the dread that's filling your bones.
"Camille," he informs you— the pride in his voice not going unnoticed. Your heart clenches and your brave facade begins to crumble.
She is a beautiful woman. Intelligent, spirited, and compassionate. It's no surprise that he's taking her out, she is exactly the type of woman that draws in the Original Hybrid, and yet, you feel absolutely blindsided. All the times you teased him about the blonde— unknowingly gaging just how much she meant to him— with Klaus always assuring you she was "simply a means to an end." How foolish you feel now for having bought into what was obviously a blatant lie. If you hadn't been blinded by your own swelling emotions, perhaps you would have seen right through his deception.
You curse yourself for your own naivety. Klaus has been your best friend since you were both children, having always been the most reliable man in your life. You have seen every part of each other, watching as he grew from the timid, meek boy you first knew to the fearsome, courageous man he has become. No one on Earth knows you better than he does, no one in the entirety of the universe understands him better than you do. You have shared your entire lives together, experiencing even the darkest depths of each other's souls; and you have loyally remained by his side through it all because you know there is no one who will care for you as deeply and protect you as fiercely as the Original Hybrid. And now you are losing your best friend— possibly the greatest love of your life— to a pathetic human whose biggest accomplishment in life is her psychology degree.
How could this have happened? How could you have been so ignorant of your own emotions? It felt like some sick, cruel joke— a punishment for all your years of shaky morals and reckless behavior. In a way, you guess you deserved this. After all, you spent years toying with the emotions of countless lovers, using them to distract from the boredom your overextended existence tended to bring.
It's not like you had always intended to crush their hearts, it's just that you believed love was something that would always evade you. It's clear to you now that's because love had already found you, you just didn't recognize it.
And now, here is the man that you love, embarking on his own quest for something that is standing right behind him. The universe is fiendish like that.
Using what's left of your composure, you swallow the lump forming in your throat and wish him well, turning your back to return to the solitude of your bedroom. In doing so, you miss the own flare of disappointment in Klaus's eyes who had hoped going on this date would spur some kind of reaction in you— some sign that you shared an inkling of the love and devotion he has for you. But alas, the two of you were blinded by your own foolish oblivion.
-*-
Three weeks. Three insufferable, excruciating, and tortuous weeks. That's how long that stupid little bartender has been flaunting her budding romance with your hybrid. You've seen more of her face in the Compound these past couple of weeks than you care to see for another millennium.
Her mocking smile every time she greets you, letting you know she has something you can't have; her taunting voice— the sound of nails on a chalkboard— every time she calls his name or shares in the same laughter you used to indulge in with Klaus; and the stars in her eyes whenever she looks at the Mikaelson makes you want to claw them right from their sockets.  You know the hatred you hold towards the blonde is spiteful and unjust, but when has the world ever been just towards you?
Due to the same fear your parents held towards the men who turned into beasts that the heads of the Mikaelson Family held, you had been forced into the same ritual the rest of the siblings had been subjected to, turning you into this immortal being. Then, you were thrust into the life of a fugitive, spending years of your life on the run from a crazed barbarian who sought to kill you for becoming the very creature he made you be.  And finally, in the cruelest twist of fate yet, the universe had you realize your deep-rooted love for the man you have spent the entirety of your life with the moment he falls into the arms of another woman.
No, life was not fair and life was not kind, so why shouldn't you get to treat the thieving blonde just as cruelly?
You had hoped that your maltreatment of the bartender would be enough to drive a wedge between them and drive her away, but she was infuriatingly persevering. No amount of nasty comments, purposeful isolation, or continuous reminders that she would never belong in the family of the most powerful supernatural beings on the planet were enough to deter her.
She continued to return to the compound with the same insulting smile coloring her expression as she waltzed into Klaus's arms, showing you what you could've had. Finally, you had enough.
That's why your hand was now wrapped tightly around her throat— her eyes wide and bulging, begging to be released from your strong grip. You smirk sadistically to yourself, enjoying the feeling of how precariously her life rests in your hands. One twist of your wrist and you will eradicate the only thing standing in the way of you and Klaus Mikaelson.
"Y/N, please, put the girl down," Elijah's steady and calm voice requests, but you pick up on the sense of urgency dancing in the undertone.
"Ah, come now, brother. The night just became entertaining. Let Y/N have her fun," Kol petitions from behind you, clearly amused by the night's sudden turn of events. Your outburst was rather unexpected— even for you. You weren't even aware of what you were doing till the bartender's back slammed against the brick wall— her scream getting caught in her throat as you cut off her airways.
You could end it all right here, right now. Put yourself out of your misery. You want to, you are about to when a hand is placed on your shoulder, reminding you of the gravity of the situation. You can't kill the girl, no matter how badly you wish to— not without ruining everything you have spent a millennium building with Klaus.
No matter how much you wish it wasn't so, he likes the intolerable blonde, maybe even loves her. If you were to take her away from him, he would never forgive you. The Original Hybrid would probably spend the rest of your life hunting you to your end, and that's not something you could handle. You rather have half of him, watching from the sidelines as he finds happiness with someone else than have none of him at all.
"Y/N, let her go," Klaus's voice rings out in the tense silence. The room watches with bated breath, wondering what your next move will be as your fingers twitch over the blonde's throat— her pulse weakening under the strength of your grasp.  With dissatisfied resignation, you slowly retract your hand; the girl immediately plummets to the floor. As you back away from her crumpled figure, the surrounding atmosphere lightens as if the room has let out a breath of relief. The two older Mikaelsons surge to her side, checking for any severe injury. It's enough to make you want to scoff, but as your eyes meet the widened, shock-blown blues of Rebekah, you realize just how grave of a mistake you almost made.
And as you fully begin to comprehend the situation before you, you can't help but feel the weight of the ignominy you subjected yourself to. The walls of the compound appear to be closing in on you— the air getting harder to breathe. The weight on your chest strengthens and it feels as if the room itself is trying to snuff you out, telling you that you no longer belong.
Perhaps the room was right. What if you were the one who did not belong? Looking at the scene before you, it would appear that way. The manner in which the siblings are huddling around the blonde bartender, attending to her with the utmost care and soothing all of her fear. It seems that you have become the outsider looking in— your time with the Mikaelsons reaching its end. After all, what more could you offer after spending a millennium together? You were old and played out, essentially a walking reminder of a life most of them have preferred to forget.
Camille was new and exciting— a terrain yet to be explored. She holds an intrigue you no longer have, and probably have not had for a while. It is clear to you now that you had lost this war long before you even started fighting. So, surrendering your battle, you launch yourself into the streets of New Orleans, giving you time to grieve the only life you have ever known.

You return to your room, a heaviness in your heart, ready to pack up the life you had loved so dearly. It's easier this way, you have to convince yourself, else you will never leave.
"Where the bloody hell have you been?" Klaus's voice fractures the silence of your bedroom, startling you in the process. You had been so distracted wallowing in your own misery that you hadn't even noticed his presence. In fact, you had assumed he would not even be in the compound, thinking he would be off somewhere comforting his darling Camille.
Your eyes meet his— darkened by the anger shrouded in them, just as you had suspected. You wonder just how much groveling you will have to subject yourself to in order to gain his pardon. Or maybe it would be better if he did punish you. You had somehow managed to evade the silver daggers all of these years, but maybe a century of darkness wouldn’t be so awful.
"Klaus, I'm sorry about Camille. I don't know what came over me. I usually have better control over my emotions, you know that. I just-," you pause, bracing yourself for what you are about to say next because you know once you speak it, it'll become real and the course of your life will be permanently altered. "I've already made plans to leave. I'm just here to pack up my belongings. All I can do is beg for your forgiveness and I promise you if you show me mercy this one time, you will never see or hear from me again. It will be like I never existed at all," you vow to the hybrid, your voice wavering under the weight of your emotions.
"Leave," he hisses as if the words themselves burn his throat— the thought of you leaving him completely unimaginable to the hybrid. You have been the one constant throughout his several lifetimes. The anchor keeping him grounded in the chaos that surrounds him, the beacon of light that guides him when he finds himself slipping into darkness, the fire that warms him when he believes he's grown too cold.
Your loyalty and tenderness towards him have often reminded the Mikaelson that he is not pure evil or an irredeemable monster— that he too is worthy of love and affection. You remind him of the man he used to be, the man he often wishes to become again. You remind him of all the good that he is capable of. You are his heart, his humanity, and to live without you is simply unfathomable.
"You think I'm just going to let you leave?" he questions in utter disbelief— your heart dropping at the query. Of course, it would not be that simple. You have seen time and time again what happens to those who cross the Original Hybrid. He was merciless and cruel, having no tolerance for people who disappoint him; and your act of treason has to be one of the biggest disappointments Klaus has experienced.
"I know what I did is unforgivable, but I-"
"You think that I care for one bloody moment about what happened with Camille!" Klaus roars, stunning you into silence, "She means nothing to me. You could have killed her tonight for all that I care! But you, love, you're not leaving me. I will not allow it."
He towers over you menacingly, but as you look into his eyes you see the fear shining through his anger. He is terrified of losing you. And as much solace as his words and the emotion that drives them brings to you, it also leaves you baffled, struggling to comprehend the contradiction.
"Klaus, I don't understand. You've been seeing that blonde wench for three weeks, parading her around the compound, showering her in affection, and granting her all of your time. You practically replaced me with her," you tell him— your words bitter, coating the hurt that you feel. But just as easily as you can see through Klaus, he sees straight to the root of your acidity.
His face contorts as he lifts a hand to lightly brush over your face, pushing your hair back and resting his palm against your cheek. "Y/N, no one could ever replace you. You are unparalleled, utterly priceless," Klaus tells you, his voice soft and warm with pure love and adoration. His eyes burn with sincerity as if to imprint his words on your skin so that you will always be reminded.
"You have captured my heart from the very beginning. Camille was merely a distraction— a means to an end. But you, my love, it has always been you."
You're frozen, his confession leaving you breathless. You can't even begin to comprehend the surge of emotion inside of you; incognizant of how to process his profound declaration of love. You had spent the last three weeks in absolute agony over a man who has loved you just as ardently. Without wasting another moment of time, you bring your lips to kiss feverishly against his own, pulling him into you as closely as possible. Your body molds perfectly into the curves and ridges of his framework as if you had been carved from the same stone— torn apart for so long and finally melding into the other once again.
