GETTING COMPARED TO FICTIONAL CHARACTERS

Now people who read my previous posts know I get compared to Henry Winter a lot by people I don't mind really, I get compared to a lot of characters but my favourite must be when I was walking in Florence this summer and a girl approached me and told me I look like a daughter of Henry and Camilla (I was so happy idk why but it made my day and when I tell people they usually agree)

But like today in the extra help out class I teach and help (explained under in some post) , someone told me me "hey you know *my boyfriend's name* , he reminds me of a Remus Lupin fan art".

Now before people from that fandom attack me I seriously apologize I didn't know who Remus Lupin was and the girl explained to me and showed me a couple of fan arts. Now I know the fandom is about Harry Potter (I never watched the movies sorry) but about his dead dad and his friends.

Now is it accurate? Yes

9/10 (only bc of the scars , my boyfriend doesn't have scars but I am the one in the relationship with a lot of scars)

hello! wondering if you can help. In search of two different remadora ficus that take place during the deathly hallows.

First one: somehow the golden trio spills their last bit of poly juice so they take tonks with them to gringotts disguised as bellatrix.

Second one: the golden trio and co crashes with lupin tonks and andromeda instead of at shell cottage.

Okay, let's get into a little bit of lore.

(This is just a sliver of everything. There's more.)

It was 2017. Both Thor Ragnarok and Kong: Skull Island were coming out and I saw the trailers to both back to back.

The realization hit me like a sledgehammer flung out of a catapult. I was excited, more than anything else, to see what happened to Loki after Thor: The Dark World. I didn't like Loki prior to that, at least, I didn't think I did. He didn't fit the mold of what I liked in a character. I tended to lean more towards the heroes. On the surface, at least.

So I stepped back and reevaluated everything I liked in movies and shows. I realized that I did lean towards villains more than I ever actually noticed. I also discovered that I love to draw and write around this time.

My first story was a hundred and fifty page Loki fanfiction that makes me cringe more than I would by sucking five lemons but you gotta start somewhere. And I didn't stop there. I was writing Loki stuff all the time. I was drawing him. Talking about him. Dreaming about him.

Then it branched out to Tom Hiddleston in anything and everything.

There were a few other obsessions along the way, Zuko, Dante Basco, Harry Potter, Sirius Black, Gary Oldman, Dracula, Remus Lupin, werewolves, Hannibal, etc., etc., but the Loki/Tom Hiddleston thing lasted YEARS until I developed a thing for Sebastian Stan instead. And that time felt longer than it actually was. It felt like an ETERNITY of my life was dedicated to him.

Breezing past a couple more hang ups, we reach the Adam Driver period. That was the next BIG one. That was the second atomic bomb. And it was by accident.

I was slowly being influenced by a number of funny things involving him that happened during lockdown (the John Oliver clips, and the Instagram lookalike) and I decided to add him to a PowerPoint I was making to brainwash people into liking the people I like. I didn't have much of a reason other than I like Star Wars and Kylo Ren was easily my favorite part of the last trilogy. (By the way, he still is. I've been a Reylo since the beginning because it gave me Zutara vibes and I ship that too.)

I went looking for a clip of him singing to put in the PowerPoint. I was gonna use the SNL Aladdin skit he was in, but I found "Stepping Back in Time" from the Annette soundtrack. The next thing I know, I have half the soundtrack downloaded and all my Sebastian Stan wallpaper and icons have been replaced by Adam Driver. It was that fast. And suddenly he's known throughout my family as "the new Loki".

Similar to how Tom Hiddleston pushed me to discover my love for writing, fanfiction, and villains, Adam Driver pushed me even further with it. I had started writing an original fiction story inspired by Sebastian Stan, but I had more ideas with Adam Driver as my muse. A lot more. That had the creativity flowing like crazy and I loved every minute of it.

Then I started having the dreams. Really weird dreams. Like that time I dreamt about Adam Driver being one of the aliens from Species and chasing me. Not even a male Species alien like Patrick. He looked like Sil and Eve with full tentacle nips and hair and it was terrifying. And I've talked about the Kylo Ren to insane asylum dream that made me legit worry about my mental health before.

I cut off all Adam Driver related anything for a month. And that's when I found Miguel O'Hara and he led me to Oscar Isaac.

Now there's a new "new Loki."

By the time we were ab to make 6 months I was so done with the fighting and his friends. But the funny thing was that he was who dumpt me. I just couldn’t beleve it. She was y/h/c and y/e/c. She cassyally loved to read muggle books, she loved subflowers and sunsets. She looked a lot like I did back then.

A month later he had a new girfriend, a grifgindor ofc. I bet all his friends liked her better than me. It was 6pm and i was taking a walk down the hallway when I saw him. I felt a pinch of angst at my stomach but I just kept walking. “Hey y/n, wait” “What do u want Remus” “I just wanted to ask u if u wanted to go to hogsmade for my bithday, my friends and my girfriend would be there” “I have a question for u Remus” I said looking him right in the eyes “Yeah?” “ When you look in her eyes, Do you think of mine? And when you look at that smile, Do I cross your mind?” “I-I d-don’t-” “And I'll admit that I sometimes, maybe, might. Think about you at night, well, almost every night. No matter how I try to hide, and erase you from my mind. In the fanfic Harry and the Lupins how you imagine the characters?

Physically? I hope that's what you mean, so I'll pop some "fan casts" here. Never done this before! If you want personality typing (it's how I characterize) send me another ask and I'll be happy to reply. Let me preface this by saying I went hunting for British actors so I can imagine their voices better, and pictures of the actors closer to the ages of the characters. If I couldn't find fan casts, I tried my best to find an internet lookalike. The problem is internet people tend to be too pretty (as are actors) and I don't think everyone is insanely good looking, so take that with a grain of salt.

Remus Lupin: this image is actually created via AI (art breeder) that I took from Reddit. I couldn't imagine anyone else. Some people think he looks like Hugh Jackman but I'm not seeing it. Oh well.

Mini Fic #1

This fic contains dark but not evil characters and mentions of alcohol, torture and death.  Please don’t read if these elements make you uncomfortable.

Avery II could feel his lungs burning as he sped through the empty streets in Diagon Alley.

“They’re hunting me! Have to go; have to get away!”

In his panic, Avery ran into a dead-end street with boarded up windows and where the ground was littered with empty Firewhiskey bottles.  He tried reaching for his magic but it didn’t respond to his commands.

Avery’s breathing became shallower as he frantically looked around for something to defend himself with. He wasn’t desperate enough to pick up one of the empty bottles; he still had his pride after all.

“Tsk, tsk Avery.”  A woman’s voice called from the entrance of the dead-end street, “I never dreamt that you would be the last Death Eater standing. How did you manage that?”

“Oh, my dear,” A man stepped out of the shadows.  He was dressed in a three-piece suit and for a moment, Avery thought he was staring at Remus Lupin but Lupin had never dressed that immaculately in the time that Avery had known him and the aura around the Lupin lookalike both stirred Avery’s bloodlust and made him want to whimper in fear, “He sold out the other Death Eaters to buy himself time and ironically, he was sold out.”

“That’s right.”  The woman tapped her hand on her leg, “By Pettigrew.”

Avery’s throat felt tight, “Pettigrew?  He sold me out?”

“Not willingly.”  The woman clarified.

“What happened to him?”

“He drunk something that did not agree with him.”  The lookalike waved his hand dismissively before turning to face the woman, “Remus is going to be sorry that he missed this and Black too.  They made a wonderful team when they hunted down the Inner Circle.”

The woman clicked her tongue, “You’re forgetting about Diana, love.  Voldemort threw everything he had at her and it didn’t phase her.  Voldemort even pushed Bellatrix into Diana’s path and in her final moments, Bellatrix understood that Voldemort cared more about himself than he would ever care about her.  Then Diana killed her.”

The lookalike shook his head, “My sister.  It was a wonderful surprise to see that level of manipulation on the battlefield from her. I feared she was not capable of it.”

Avery’s courage was beginning to return and he made a dash for the entrance of the street.

“If I’m quick, I can dodge them bo-”

Avery had half a second to realise that his plan to escape had failed before he was being repeatedly struck by lightning.  If Avery had access to his magic, he would have realised that the street had been charmed silent.

The lightning stopped but Avery was too exhausted for it to really register.  The woman knelt down next to him, “In a couple of minutes, you’re going to be dead Avery.”

Avery’s eyes widened and he shook in terror, “Shh,” the woman said and it would have been soothing in another context, “it’s not me that you need to plead for mercy from, it’s Lady Magic.”

The woman stood up and walked to stand next to her partner.  Avery tried to reach for his Dark Mark but the lightning started again and just like the woman said, after a couple of minutes, the last Death Eater, Avery II was dead.

A gold drachma fell next to his body where it spun for a few moments before falling on one side.

The man sighed, “Why people call these coins worthless baffles me.  The drachma that Harry wished on proved to be anything but.”

“I’m sure Lady Magic played a role there, Ares.”

Ares smiled, “It’s time for us to go (Name).”  He held out his arm for you to take, “I believe that Diana along with Remus and Black are anxious to hear how our mission went and I am sure that we have kept Diana long enough.”

Once you linked your arm through Ares’ there was a clap of thunder and Diagon Alley was empty once more.
