God aren’t you tired like the cops killed another Black man in Memphis just trying to go home and now there’s troops in the streets because god forbid we say enough is enough. Last week they killed a protestor in Atlanta trying to protect the forest from being turned into another site where they train cops to kill us. There were so many mass shootings this week that I can’t remember them all. More people have died in mass shootings this year than there have been days of the year, and that line doesn’t even hit me anymore. Texas prosecutors are investigating a teenager for a miscarriage, and the Alabama AG is trying to walk back earlier comments saying they’d use the state’s chemical endangerment law to prosecute people for self-managed medical abortions. 30,000 people were hospitalized this week with a virus the country is determined to pretend is over. Aren’t you tired? The Supreme Court is about to overturn affirmative action and make it easier to do racial gerrymandering and get rid of the Indian Child Welfare Act and make it so businesses can discriminate against gay people. Aren’t you tired of being scared of what the conservatives would do if they thought they could get away with it—the fetal personhood bans and the contraception bans and the criminalizations of trans & queer people and the attacks on the unhoused and all the other monsters under the bed that get realer every day? Aren’t you tired of being scared for your life, if you’re Black or Asian or trans or queer or disabled? Aren’t you just so tired some days?

I was excited to find them on shelves! Except Sasha she was online ordered. The best feeling is being able to buy a whole line in 1 day. I remember using my whole summer work program check that was only about $140 to buy the Winter Wonderland line. My cousin was visiting & my Aunt needed to do a Target run surprisingly the Winter Wonderland line was there. I forgot how I was sneaky enough to buy them without my Aunt knowing. She was always in my business about what I bought with my money & would’ve lost it if she saw it was Bratz.

not to be alarmist but given history and the direction things are headed, people being forced to be pregnant (reproduce) is bad news when it comes to people who can't (easily or at all) reproduce or are seen as someone who "shouldn't be reproducing."

Kansas voted to keep protections for abortion rights in their state constitution and it wasn’t even close—abortion rights are a winning issue because people are passionate about reproductive autonomy!!!! People turn out to vote for reproductive autonomy!!! Even in red states!!!! Our elected officials have to act like it and campaign on it!!!!

Reproductive Justice is not just about cis women!
I’ve noticed a disappointing lack of inclusivity in our conversations about the recent leak on Roe v. Wade. Most of the posts I’ve seen talking about the overturning of this case have talked solely about women and women’s rights. Protests have also been occurring frequently under the title of “women’s marches''. I am all for the protests, but it is important that we remember that women are not the only people who can get pregnant, and not all women can get pregnant at all. To use the term “women” erases gender-noncomforming and trans* people from the conversation in so many ways. For all of the trans men, non-binary people, and other gender-noncomforming people who can get pregnant, please update the way you talk about reproductive justice to use more inclusive language. Terms like “people who might get pregnant”, “people with uteruses'', or even “people of childbearing age” are easy to use and helpful for community building support. Using these terms can help everyone feel included in this issue which affects so many. This case and the effects it will have on reproductive rights are not just limited to cis women, and it is exclusionary and often hurtful to refer to it as if it did.
The issue of reproductive justice reaches deep into the idea of bodily autonomy, which is extremely important for the trans* community. If people do not have bodily autonomy about abortion or birth control, trans* people’s rights to choose things like hormone replacement therapy, surgery, and pregnancy are also violated. Furthermore, I have noticed way less media concern about recent anti-trans legislation since the news about Roe v. Wade dropped. These legislations are of huge concern and are extremely dangerous for trans* youth, so it is very important that we don’t forget about them in the wake of this new news. I think it is critical that everyone who can get pregnant feel included in this fight and be willing to support one another in movements beyond reproductive justice.
This news leak and the social media response also begs us to talk about how reproductive justice has been and continues to be a racialized issue. In the aftermath of the leak, I have read hundreds of comments (mostly from white women) comparing this “new reality” to the world depicted in The Handmaid’s Tale. The world depicted in that series is not a fantasy, though, it was based on the injustices and horrors that People of Color have been facing for decades. From forced pregnancies and rape to forced sterilizations, none of this is new, so it is insensitive to act as though it is. These injustices are intersectional in nature and are of course impacted by race, gender identity and expression, (dis)ability, and wealth.
Reproductive justice must center and value the experiences of all people who have been denied bodily autonomy and the right to choose. This must include trans* people, people of color, disabled people, immigrants, and people living in poverty along with unlimited groups of historically under-represented people. Please make sure you are staying conscious of the intersectionality of reproductive justice. Seek out resources by people of color, disabled people, etc. in an effort to educate yourself, as well as educating the people around you about the importance of this when the opportunity arises. I urge you to donate to abortion funds and trans* support/mutual aid funds in your area if you can, and also make sure to reach out and support your loved ones however you are able.

Just got back from my doc appointment. I was honestly expecting a bigger fight about sterilization tbh. I told them that’s what I wanted, doc asked a couple questions, informed of the risks and such, and said surgery dept will contact me for a procedure opening.
I’m like that’s it? That easy? 👁👄👁
I had the state code, reproduction laws, fuckin everything ready to argue over it but they’re like “Yeah, it’s your choice we can’t decide for you. Just know the risks are there as any general surgery and anesthesia-necessary procedure. Some women have regrets but that’s not for me to decide for you, so I will talk with surgery and they’ll call you with a time slot. Bookings are usually a month or so out.”
I’m like… IT WAS THAT EASY THE WHOLE TIME??

To all the ignorant cluster fucks at SCOTUS who voted to overturn Roe v Wade,
We fucking hate you. The whole world and whoever can still use their braincells, hates you. Not just for the rights you have robbed women of, but for what it represents for the rest of us. For years, American politicians have been absolute attention whores who act like the whole world revolves around the US, and the other countries should just fall in line. Right now, your country is burning in hatred and despair because of the things you have done. The young and old are on the streets demanding their rights, and there is resentment in the very air. Fuck, I was so angry I couldn't sleep, that's why I am here ranting. Finally, you have ripped off the bandages yourself and shown the world what power hungry monsters you really are.
You're coming for our rights of bodily autonomy and freedom of choice as women, and this is likely not to end here. You will come for contraception, same sex marriages, interracial marriages, and everything else you have convinced yourself is "bad". Congratulations, you have successfully built the opposite of a fanbase in every world conscious person in the US who still has their wits about them.
Oh, and special mention to Clarence Thomas, cause what an ignorant disgraceful dickwad you are. The communities most affected by the overturning of Roe v Wade will be the marginalized poor POC, specifically black women. How the fuck can you sit and smile along with the old white supremacists in the same photo, as if you did not just conveniently ignore hundreds of years of black history and systemic racism. They will turn on you, Thomas, and when they do, we will lead you to the slaughter.
Also, Amy Coney Barrett? How can you still identify as a woman and claim to be a voice of women in the Supreme Court? How the fuck do you even look into the eyes of other women? Your behavior and ideology is abhorrent, disgusting and vile. How dare you act as if your Christianity gives you the right to dictate how the rest of us with a uterus live? How dare you act as if you give a fuck about anyone but your own stupid little self? Please identify as an imbecile from now on, maybe people will recognize you better.
Y'all, if this was really about children, there would be universal health care, better foster care and child services, free education, growth opportunities and access to mental health facilities, therapy, less widespread hunger and poverty... But of course they overturn a law which only has any real implications on everyone except rich white old men, politicians and government officials! These fuckers will just take their jet and fly themselves to a state where they can get all the abortions they want for their mistresses and daughters.
Guns have more rights than girls in the US. When the price to pay for rape is less than abortion of a raped impregnated child, its pretty fucking obvious this was never about anything but power and control over women's bodies. Regressing back to the 1950s is not a good example to make when talking about "the land of the free, home of the brave".
It's like they want more babies, so more taxes, more abandoned children, overpopulated foster care, abuse, resorting to addiction, contributing to drug epidemics already making strides... all of this so that the moment the children go to pre-school, the children who "could've cured cancer", are shot in cold blood by an 18 year old with a semi automatic machine gun he thought was cool to play with.
You ignorant fuckers have made more enemies in a day than you ever could in the presidential elections. You just told almost 30 million women/people who have uteruses that their rights, freedom and choice don't matter for shit. We, and our allies, from all spectrums of identities, will fight. This is not over. And you will not have the last word on our fucking bodies. Not before we vote you the fuck out of government. It's ridiculous that we still have to protest this shit, but here we are. We will not stop, and we will revo-fucking-lutionize until our rights are protected. The bottom line is, You're fucked and We're coming for you.
Yours insincerely,
Every fucking person who has a uterus on the planet

Only a few minutes into Biden’s speech, several protesters interrupted, calling for a cease-fire in Israel’s U.S.-backed military operation in Gaza, which has killed more than 28,000 Palestinians and set off a maternal and reproductive health crisis. The president was interrupted over a dozen times as security struggled to wrangle protesters who were screaming “Genocide Joe!” and demanding a cease-fire. Hundreds of Biden supporters tried to drown out the protesters by clapping and chanting, “Four more years!” “Israel kills two mothers every hour in Gaza! Cease-fire now! End the genocide!” one protester yelled at Biden, who was standing on stage in front of a massive “Restore Roe” banner and flanked by supporters holding “Defend choice” signs. A video of the event shows Alexis McGill Johnson, the president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, clad in her trademark hot-pink pantsuit, standing up and chanting “Four more years!” as security dragged the shouting protester out. It was a real-time illustration of the growing rift in the reproductive rights movement during an election year that will determine the future of reproductive health in the U.S.
Basic prenatal care, such as treating anemia, is nonexistent, causing more women to die during childbirth and more babies born prematurely, many of whom die without access to hospital incubators. Food shortages are leaving pregnant women, new mothers and newborns malnourished. And a lack of menstrual hygiene products has caused an increase in infections in women and girls. “No one is making the connection that there’s a huge repro genocide happening in Gaza that we are funding, and the big repro organizations that are endorsing him are pretending like it’s not happening,” one leader who has met with the Biden administration on abortion issues told HuffPost. Most of the workers who spoke with HuffPost asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation from their employers or others in the reproductive rights field.
