Y’know, I think the saddest part about hearing of Bobs passing was the fact that the last time he was seen alive was 3 weeks ago and that his body was so badly decomposed, like really no one came to check up on him?? I don’t know much about his family but seriously no one thought it was odd for him to drop off the face of the earth for almost a month???

Obviously I am aware of his actions in the past and his current political views and in no way condone any of them, however he was still a human, a very influential human no less, with a phenomenal talent for drumming, and to hear that it took that long for people to find him is truly devastating.

I’ve only seen two videos of people celebrating his death but the fact that people are celebrating in the first place is disgusting, hate him all you want but celebrating is sick.

I'm realizing that I've never seen a fic where Raph's shell gets cracked.

Do you, oh wise Rise fanfic expert, have any recommendations?

Here's where I fail you.

I got nothing. I have only read a handful of raph centric fics and all the other ensemble cast fics Ive read havent touched his shell??? Which is strange now that Im thinking of it since he canonically does have a chipped shell...its usually nothing more then that. Most focus on his connection to the krang and his loss of vision in one eye.

Tbh theres a lack of raph angst in general outside of the emotional angst of him being the big brother. Im sure there must be A fic where raph gets his shell cracked, but I havent read it...

A ROTTMNT x DC crossover fic

Summary:

Donnie's hand clung tightly to his little brother's shoulder, watching as Lichtenberg's scars traveled up Mikey's arms. Donnie’s fingers burned as he anchored himself to Mikey, his breathing sharp and chest heaving. Raph was in an injured heap behind them, his leg bent at an awkward angle. Donnie’s head ached, but he knew Mikey could do it. The universe ripped at the seams, and Leo was pulled from the clutches of the Kraang. Orange light swallowed Donnie whole as he kept a firm hand on his youngest brother. OR Donnie and Mikey end up in an alternate universe where, instead of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there is a Justice League. Mikey is hurt, and Donnie is left to his own devices. OR Donnie accidentally becomes one of Batman’s rogues.

While Mikey was snoozing on the fire escape Donnie hoisted them up onto. He got to work, figuring out where they were. At first he figured they were in Newark, New Jersey; but opening the map threw him for a loop. Gotham. They were in a place called Gotham City, a place that should not exist. A place that does not exist.

Next, he pulled up the news; the attack on New York should be on every major news outlet. But it was not. There was no mention of the Kraang’s invasion or pink fleshy aliens attacking the city. Instead, the news was covering an organization known as the Justice League. It was something straight out of a comic book: a team of superheroes that defended the world against threats. Donnie swore this was the exact plot of the one Jupiter Jim comic run.

i know a lot of people hc him as submissive which yes we <3 submissive men but also just the thought of him being so out of control of his own life that taking control of you makes him feel secure. just like the thought of you whining and bratting when he’s so tired and exhausted and so the only feasible thing for him to do is put you back into your place.

everything around mike is so out of his grasp, and when he met you he suddenly felt the urge to control. it’s mostly out of concern for your wellbeing, like he would do with his own sister. but even with abby, he couldn’t seem to keep up with her spontaneous behavior. then he realizes how easy you are to be bossed around, despite your cute little pouting and the insults you throw at him — he can shut you up in a matter of seconds.

adding to the chocolate lipstick lore, he’s just so exhausted doing his boring job. like doing laps around the mall periodically, getting asked such mundane questions like directions to particular stores, or even monitoring the security cameras with one eye open because nothing ever interesting happens. your recent recruitment alongside him made mike despise you because of how bratty you are, especially when he has to take your workload.

to cope, mike basically lectures you and calls you mean names. he harshly pinches your cheek when you’re spewing out curses when the monitors aren’t working. he calls you a “fucking idiot” when you manage to lose your walkie-talkie after he’s been calling you for the past ten minutes. he’s tired of your shit, but he really does love being mean to you. your expressive anger and whiny little voice just makes him look forward to going to work everyday.

ROTTMNT CUDDLE HEADCANONS

Woah it’been a while since my first post…

ANYWAY, I’m in a very sleepy mood so here’s cuddle headcanons for the turtles

~LEO~

-This guy is so goofy

-Constantly grabbing at your ass or tights to massage them while teasing you about it

-He loves to lay on you or having you lay on him

-Lots of churring and snuggling (if you have a prominent chest it’s not yours anymore, it’s his)

-Muffled rambling about literally any topic

-Praises your body constantly (not in a sexual way, this guy is just head over heels about you and wants to make sure you know it)

-“I have no idea why you worry so much, you’re so damn beautiful”

-PLEASE take his mask off and gently caress his face markings, this guy will MELT

-If you’re not laying down he’s definetly resting on your lap ᵃᵗ ᵗʰⁱˢ ᵖᵒⁱⁿᵗ ⁱ ᵗʰⁱⁿᵏ ⁱᵗˢ ᵒᵇᵛⁱᵘᵒˢ ⁱ ʰᵉᵃᵈᶜᵃⁿᵒⁿ ʰⁱᵐ ᵃˢ ᵃ ᵗⁱᵍʰᵗ ᵍᵘʸ

-Is teased by his brothers (*COUGH* Leo *COUGH*) about him being so vulnerable when you’re around

-As you probably already guessed he’s kind of embarrassed around his family, but holding hands sround others is so special to him

-It makes him feel as if he’s telling the world (his family) that you’re his

-Ok let’s be real: he’s VERY touchy

-He’s basically cuddling with you 24/7

-Takes every opportunity to kiss or hug or snuggle you throughout the day

-When you two are alone he just doesn’t let go of you LIKE

-“Mike l need to use the bathroom” “OK :D” “…Le-Let me go” “wwWHY..?” “I NEED TO PEE” “I CAN COME WITH YOU”

-You’ll eventually get him to let you go for a few minutes

-He LOVES when you even slightly match his energy and also crave affection (even if you won’t admit it ;))

-Doesn’t really care where you are or what position you’re in as long as you’re both comfortable

-But if he had to choose a position he would probably like facing and spooning

-Speaking of facing—PREPARE TO BE PEPPERED IN KISSES

-Churrs happily and loudly, not giving two fucks about who hears him🫡

-Squeezes your cheeks (the puffier they are the more full this lil guy’s heart gets)

-If you’ll let him, he’ll draw small doodles on your hands or arms

-Cuddles in public couldn’t be less of a problem for him

-Just say if you’re ok with it or not and he will obey (except for a few stolen kisses in case you say no)

~DONNIE~

-Will NEVER admit how much he actually enjoys your cuddles

-Will have you sit on his lap as he works, chest to chest

-…or you laying on his chest and viceversa

-The very first times he kept everything on- battleshell included

-But after a while he allowed you to take off his mask

-The shell thing is a bit more delicate (Yk?Cause he’s a softshell turtle? God I want to hang myse-) and might take more time

-But if you play your cards right he’s throwing it out the window in a few months

-When he’s not rambling he’ll just lay there and melt in your touch

-Whether you’re running your hands through his bare shell or caressing his face and muscles he’ll just let you love him

-He finded it hard to let you cuddle him, let alone him cuddling you…

-A lot of patience is needed but will be rewarded

-Him inviting you to lay on him, rest your face on his shoulder, sometimes he will even kiss you first

-Ew I’m getting diabetes MOVING ON

-Cuddling in public is usually a big No-no, but there’s situations where you’ll get a text from him where he just—

-“Cuddles in bed later?”

-You smile at him and he acts his blush off…
