Just finished watching #thehappyprince direct by @thehappyprincemovie and starring my sweetest cinnamon rolls @colin_the_firth and Colin Morgan, along with the legendary Emily Watson. It was a beautiful, beautiful movie about the last days of the famous author Oscar Wilde, after his release from prison. I only have one word to describe it: riveting. A masterpiece of acting and coordination and directing. I was blown away by how great the lead actors were, how sincere and honest their renditions were. It's the story of a condemned love, of a friendship that could've been more but just didn't. Of a man who broke boundaries and couldn't break the hold of a poisonous love. Of a man who loved fiercely and wholely, but could never be more than a friend. It's also the story of an innocent boy who asks for a story, a story that has so many layers he couldn't understand, but he could feel. I'm amazed and blown away by Colin Morgan and his acting abilities on this movie. He was truly awe-inspiring. But what caught me was how deeply Rupert Everett was immersed in his role as Wilde, he was just magnificent. He managed to capture every facet of the notorious man, and keep him alive. The movie was so good it hurt, and by the end, my eyes were tear-swollen, and my heart was shattered by all the underlying sadness and sense of doom. Film yang Menyedihkan.

“Jadi kamu nggak bisa nemenin nonton?” tanyaku sambil merengek kepada Rudi kekasihku.

“Maaf Rina, pekerjaanku sangat banyak. Kamu harus bisa mengerti.” jawab Rudi tampak kesal dengan rengekanku. 

“Bahkan di akhir pekan seperti ini??” dan pertanyaanku hanya dijawab dengan tatapan yang menandakan ‘aku sedang kesal’.

Akhirnya dengan lebih kesal kuputuskan keluar dari kantornya dan pulang.

Sesampainya di rumah Mama bertanya, “Lho, nggak jadi pergi sama Rudi?”

“Nggak ma, Rudi sibuk banget. Aku tetep mau nonton aja. Filmnya bagus soalnya.” jawabku datar.

“Hmm.. ya gitu kalau punya cowok kerja di event organizer, susah ditebak kapan dia sibuk kapan nggak.” jawab Mama menenangkan.

Malam ini kuputuskan untuk nonton di bioskop yang jauh dari biasanya. Rasanya pedih kalau ke bioskop favoritku dengan Rudi. Mungkin dengan suasana baru, aku paling tidak bisa melupakan kekesalanku terhadap Rudi dan memaafkannya.

Sesampainya di bioskop, film yang kutunggu-tunggu akhirnya dimulai. Baru saja memasuki adegan awal, kulihat sepasang sejoli melangkah menuju tempat duduk yang berada dua deretan di belakangku, tapi bagian tengah, sementara aku berada di sudut sayap kiri, tempat para jomblo biasa bersinggah. Sebelum mereka sempat duduk, cahaya menerpa wajah si pria, yang entah mengapa, aku melihatnya di saat yang tepat.

Itu Rudi.

Dengan gadis lain.

Tampak mesra, Rudi memeluk pinggang gadis itu dan duduk dengan nyamannya.

Film yang kutonton saat itu adalah ketika dengan lembut Rudi membelai rambut si gadis, dengan lucu si gadis mencubit pipi Rudi, dengan mesra mereka menyantap pop corn dan menikmati saat-saat berdua mereka, dan...ketika dengan jelas aku melihat mereka curi-curi kesempatan untuk saling mempertemukan bibir mereka.

Tanpa sadar, air mataku tumpah melihat tontonan malam ini di bioskop.

Lalu aku pulang. Sesampainya di rumah, mama bertanya, “Kenapa matamu sembab?”

“Filmnya terlalu menyedihkan.” jawabku singkat.
