Openly LGBTQIA+ Celebrities
These are celebrities who have recently come out as LGBTQIA+ or whom I’ve recently learned about or whom I hadn’t mentioned in previous posts of this type. Needless to say, this list is highly arbitrary and incomplete.
Campbell Johnstone (athlete)
Daria Kasatkina (athlete)
Jez Kerr (musician)
Ke$ha (musician)
Lucas Krzikalla (athlete)
Lil Uzi Vert (rapper)
Alexander Lincoln (actor)
Ozzy Lusth (TV personality)
Godwin Maduagu (actor, model)
Sanjaya Malakar (musician, TV personality)
Continuing the tradition from my old blog (which has been unceremoniously deleted by tumblr without much of an explanation why) I’m doing daily posts during June to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride by showcasing openly LGBTQIA+ celebrities and various content about or created by LGBTQIA+ people such as music videos, characters on TV shows, movie trailers, …

American Idol vs its queer contestants
Which is to say, it did not like them. At all.
The interview with Sanjaya Malakar was particularly interesting, since I remember him. I remember that he was outstanding during the tryouts and early rounds, but struggled massively during the live televised rounds. Understandable; being 17 and being regularly attacked by the judges and the country at large would be a LOT.
Oddly enough, I remember his "Besame Mucho". It was lovely. (Simon was ... not.)

Biggest claim to fame: Before Britney and KFed, the greatest pop star and back-up dancer love story belonged to Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd. The two met in late 2000 on the set of her music video for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and married after a brief one-month engagement. After nine months of marriage the two called it quits in 2002.
Where is he now? Judd, now 45, continues to dance and has since remarried.
3. Willa Ford
