One of the things that I think makes Starlo so great is that he's one of those characters who you can headcanon as practically anything and it will always make perfect sense

Like yes he is every and any flavor of trans. He is gay. He is a lesbian. He is mspec. He is aroace. this all makes perfect sense you're so right

His pronouns? His outfit? You can mess with those too and chances are it makes sense. I've seen she/her Starlos and Starlos with pretty significant outfit redesigns and they're all fantastic

And even his species like is that not so so so fun. He can have any number of silly animal traits or star traits or whatnot and as long as his head is in the rough shape of a five pointed star and his colors are about the same I'll still go yeah that's Starlo without batting an eye and I think that's really cool
