Ya know as I watched the movie I kept shooting off who I thought the bad guy was, starting with Chris. Then as Lydia and Jackson walked around the woods and they mentioned chemicals I joking thought “harris”
And when that reveal happened….

ok for real I know they were limited in their options for explaining Stiles’ actions because DOB didnt come back but like SERIOUSLY. I have so many questions and complaints and not even all of them are Stydia related….. spoilers obviously
.
Uhhh I can’t figure out how to add a read more on mobile sorry folks hopefully this is a good enough buffer !!!!!
.
..
….
…..
….
..
.
Did…. Did anyone bother to tell Stiles that Allison is alive? are we meant to believe that nobody did?? or what’s worse, that he was told and he just didn’t come to Beacon Hills or call or anything?
On that note, are we actually supposed to believe — and I am not a Sterek girlie by any means, love and light to y’all but it’s just not my cup of tea — that Derek fucking DIED and there was a whole ass memorial service that Stiles just didn’t bother to show up to???? HELLO????
I mean it’s also nearing levels of ‘spn finale Dean Winchester ending’ stupid that Derek died in the first place, given that his whooooole character arc (by my book, anyway) is springing from the place of his trauma, and the way that he has blamed himself, struggled with guilt and loneliness and has been atoning for all of the pain of what he perceives to be personal failures the ENTIRE TIME, never letting himself get too close to people, never asking for help, and instead sacrificing for and nurturing Scott as the ideal alpha that he feels he couldn’t be… I don’t know. It just feels like a needless sacrifice to me, like there are so many ways that you can restrain someone and prevent them from moving from the place where you need to. Oh I don’t know burn them alive ?maybe? Which don’t involve sacrificing yourself and burning alive yourself, right in front of your son and the rest of your loved ones. I know again there are production factors at play, maybe it’s likely that they knew damn well Tyler H wouldn’t or couldn’t come back for another movie so they decided to kill off his character?? but suffice to say I was not happy with that at all (and not in the way I think it was INTENDED to upset me.)
Anyway, I know that Stiles needed to be absent because Dylan O’Brien was not a part of this movie, but if I’m being honest, I kind of would rather that Stiles had died ! Obviously I love Stiles’s character and it’s not that I want him dead at all!! it’s just. if they were going to fully send it, and they know he’s not coming back, and they knew that they were going to make up this premonition dream to break up Stydia and (poorly) explain his absence, then it would’ve done a lot better to make that separation as permanent as in life and death. The Stiles we know would never want to be separated from the people he loves as much as he has been now because of all of the external, real life factors. In fact, the season arc with the ghost riders proved to us just how far Stiles can and would go to be present! It was aaaactually a whole thing ! So, if I’m being honest… (1) the way that he and Lydia parted, (2) the way that he isn’t present or even mentioned in the light of his loved ones dying/being resurrected, and (3) again the fact that he wasn’t even at Derek’s memorial … it all feels like a silent character assassination to me. It feels like the mentioning of “Stiles” in this new canon contains less essence of Stiles than it would’ve if he had died. I know it’s easy to have a hater moment and make criticisms and piss and moan about how I would’ve done it better, and I know it’s not always as easy as it sounds… but JESUS CHRIST
Also congrats to the sterek girlies on your own personal y yo a ti moment……that jeep shit was CRAZY
#this is only like an iceberg tip of the things I have to say about this movie#like there’s a clear estrangement between some of the main characters that honestly..stiles feared! we know he did#and we know how hard he fought to hold onto everyone#like he was the glue between them and it would’ve been so sad to see that confirmed. he really WAS the glue#seriously. stiles dies. they all fall apart into little groups and fragments pieces of my HEART!!!! I would’ve bawled.#we could’ve had a closed casket funeral flashback! Scott tries to take Malia’s hand and she pulls away. boom Scali breakup explained!#*scalia (obvi)#and I feel it would’ve been more evocative emotionally to see Lydia grapple with guilt#that stiles died (in her mind at least) because she was too selfish to heed her power’s warning and keep away from him#it would’ve made the moments where Eli is SOOO similar to stiles HURT more for us as an audience AND to the characters who would see it too#like. raise the stakes! heighten Derek’s (and all of their) fierce protectiveness for this baby !!#make us ACHE thinking about the cycle of it all. how this kid is Scott but he’s also stiles and he’s (literally) a little bit of Derek and—#also this is another thing but I’m also pissed that Liam and Mason had like ZERO interactions lmfao theyre fucking besties ??? or#if they’re not anymore then you should TELL US THAT!!!#I wanna know why Scalia broke up and why she’s fucking Parrish FR#for REALLLL it’s so left field and don’t get me started on what they did to her character and how it highlights Stiles’ absence further#also I miss Theo. to ME he’s under the Hale’s wings. to ME he’s a mechanic and an artist and him and Liam are boyfriends. haters stay mad#TAKES A DEEP BREATH.#okay I think I’m done for now#I can’t figure out how to add a read more on mobile so I hope tagging for spoilers will be good enough (!)#teen wolf#teen wolf movie#teen wolf movie spoilers#teen wolf spoilers#tw#…. “Why did you ask me that?”
“Huh? What's that, big guy?” Stiles mumbles, answering the query with one of his own without looking away from Derek's laptop screen. The laptop Derek kind of bought for Stiles for when Stiles is at the loft.
Whatever.
There's a ballpoint pen shoved in the kid's mouth—God, that mouth—and another slid behind an ear, the latter ready and waiting for Stiles to click to death in the In Between Typing Times.
The others dispersed a couple of minutes ago. Apart from Derek and Stiles, only Lydia and Deaton now remain at the loft and they're deep in conversation about the preliminary theory of who or what is killing the humans of Beacon Hills this week and are standing at the opposite side of the open-plan space, making more coffee. Scott and Malia left to rally the other ʼwolves (not answering their phones as they're at a cinema screening) plus find and talk to Argent to arrange a pack meeting proper about the situation, so they can all work on devising a plan. Granted, there is Peter to consider—who's probably still lurking somewhere, what with lurking being one of his favourite pastimes—who can obviously hear any and all conversations that are, or could be, happening inside of the building. Sadly though, Derek has never been able to hide much of anything from his uncle.
So.
He thinks about elaborating on the question he asked Stiles, but can't.
He tries not to stare at Stiles, and fails.
Stiles is squinting at the screen with intent and looking like he has forgotten that Derek said anything at all. Or that Derek is still hovering close by. Or that Derek, you know, exists.
Derek is just standing there, all difficult and awkward in his own fucking home and his own fucking body, looming over Stiles like a creeper as Stiles taps away furiously at the keyboard and violently zig-zags a fingertip across the mousepad like an actual lunatic.
Derek almost laughs at that.
The Boy Who Runs With Wolves.
“Why wouldn't I?” Stiles now asks, still mumbling around the chewed ballpoint Derek is trying not to be jealous of.
“I—what?” Derek's caught off guard; always and only by Stiles.
Stiles doesn't skip a beat, unlike Derek's heart. “Why wouldn't I ask?” he adds.
Oh, right.
“I, uh, I don't... ” Derek trails off pathetically, swallowing any confidence he had previously mustered and looking away from Stiles, even though those big, brown devastating eyes aren't actually looking at Derek because they are, of course, still zoomed-in on whichever web page is currently yielding the most information.
Dusk is quickly closing in and all around them and the light filtering through the loft's huge window has begun to dim somewhat, so that the glow of the computer screen is now filling Stiles' eyes with bright, dancing sparks and arrhythmic shapes as they flicker like lightning from one tab to another, then another, then another. And as mesmerising as it is to watch—Stiles looks as though he is brimming with magic—the sight becomes too much for Derek, and looking away feels like his only option.
It doesn't last.
Stiles' long, large-knuckled fingers still their rapid movement just as Derek's eyes find their way back.
Derek watches the kid some more, like a lifeline.
An anchor.
Then, Stiles is taking the pen from those perfect lips as sneaker-toes slowly spin the swivel chair around, so that Stiles is now facing Derek where he stands with arms crossed reactively over his chest.
His heart.
“I asked because I wanted to know if you were okay, man," Stiles divulges, as if that's nothing at all. As if it's something Derek hears often. He tilts his head to catch Derek's eye, which works, of course, because it always works, no matter the nature of the moment they're caught up in. "Like, I was concerned, y`know?”
Derek feels guilty just for looking. And not only because he wants to touch but because he wants to let Stiles care.
“I care, dude,” Stiles says on cue and Derek tries to self-implode while Stiles waits, probably for Derek to look at him and say don't call me dude and probably hoping not to have his head bitten off or his throat ripped out.
Derek does look again, just not for long. Barely a glance. He can't afford himself too much Stiles, not when Stiles is looking directly back at him. It's safer that way—self-preservation and all.
“You do know that, right?” Stiles tries again. “That I care.”
Derek wants to ask Stiles if they can talk, if Derek can tell Stiles things. Derek wants to ask Stiles if he'll stay, and if he'll let Derek spill his secrets, let him tell Stiles everything, like Derek never does with anyone these days, and if Stiles will hold Derek's hand when Derek cries about it, like Derek doesn’t allow himself to anymore. Derek wants to ask Stiles if Derek can touch him and hold him and if Stiles would hold him back, if Stiles would ever want that, if Stiles could ever be his.
“Don't call me dude,” is what he actually says because he can't not. But then he steals himself, head staticky and heart thumping as he dares himself to add (after what is undeniably too-long a pause), “And yeah. Maybe I do.”
Then they look at each other. They just—look.
They look and look and look.
And they each keep looking at the other for a very long time. Definitely too long for two people supposedly not much more than acquaintances. Allies, maybe. Comrades at tenuous best.
Then they look for longer. Look for more. Look until it starts to feel as if they are the only two people in the room, in the building, in the world.
Whatever happened to self-preservation?
Something is starting to happen, and Derek is pretty sure it's not just happening to him, and he finds he is equally stunned as he is thrilled as he is completely fucking terrified about that.
Eventually, Stiles says, “Derek, we're friends.” Then he's licking his lips and looking Derek up and down, shameless, adding—with a nonchalant shrug of one shoulder—“Till we're not.”
The latter part is spoken like a ominous secret, but one without the slightest hint of malice, because that's not how he means it. It's more promise than threat, if Derek is remembering correctly what genuine affirmations sound like (it's been a while).
The sparks from Stiles' eyes are then flashing blue in Derek's and Derek could swear he hears every one of his neurons firing inside of himself, all at once, as each of his mutated cells flare into overdrive, nail beds and gums tingling, the short hairs on the back of his neck and arms and hands standing up on end.
He feels utterly alive.
It's honestly a struggle not to keen and whine like a pup, and Derek has truly never been more happy of the fact that Stiles is unable to scent chemo-signals because, oh, yeah, Derek would be so fucked right now.
He has a reply for Stiles but it's caught in his throat, the sentence forming then solidifying, fast as a quick-drying glue.
Derek is just—standing there. Statuesque. Alternating between trying to swallow his words down and attempting to speak them, like a first class dipshit. Just looking and looking and looking at Stiles.
In an entirely mortifying turn of events, it is actually the sound of Peter's low, mocking chuckle from some tucked-away shadowy place in the loft that is the thing that forces Derek unstuck, and it takes all Derek has to not roll his eyes to the back of his skull and growl out I'm going to kill you again now, Uncle.
He takes a breath, un-clenches his fists and tries for a smile—or at least a hint of one. He doesn't want to freak the kid out.
Derek then manages to repeat Stiles's words back at him, no more than a whisper.
“Till we're not.”
Stiles is just looking and looking and looking at Derek, before he's asking, “Can I stay for the evening? You can talk to me while I research. I always work better with noise. It'll be soothing,” like he's ordering pizza instead of answering all of Derek's prayers.
Derek notes how the kid's usually erratic eye-contact is weirdly as unwavering as his usually erratic heartbeat, which is now weirdly steady as a metronome.
That's a lot of weird.
Derek fights the urge to bite into his lip with his fangs. He wants to draw blood, and to taste it.
He embarrassingly feels his eye twitch and his breath hitch as he dares himself to do this.
He sputters, “What do you want me to talk about?”
Stiles slowly swivels back towards the light of the laptop—ethereal milky skin and dark moles once again luminous in its white-blue glow—at the very same time as the evening's first moonshine peeks through clouds and seeps in through the loft's huge skylight.
Derek is memorised.
Stiles starts annoyingly clicking away at the Clicking Pen, while shoving the other back between those beautiful lips of his, now mumbling his words around the thing once more and speaking them as if they are the most obvious thing in the universe.
“Everything, Der.”

Creep Alert - Teen Wolf Preference
Tumblr media
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Because someone has made me very uncomfortable at weekly pinball and I would like to take Theo.
Stiles: Okay he's not always the most observant person around, he will be talking to himself trying to figure something out or keep walking not realizing someone else has come up and gone all up in your space. When he turns about and you are visibly uncomfortable he RUNS back, trip/sliding between you and the guy pushing his hand off. Might have yelled "CREEP ALERT" on his way over, mile a minute talking asking if you're okay, did they do anything? name drops that he is the son of the sheriff and can get that guy written up for harassment. "Do you want to file a report on him? I'll call dad right now. Don't you go anywhere, we're not done here- PARRISH!" Spots a squad car and shouts over (it was not Parrish) and it becomes mess. But it certainly did the job.
Scott: Good of heart, dumb of ass. Despite his wolf instinct telling him to destroy the threat, he comes over the moment your scent turns distressed. He comes up right next to you with a comforting hand on your arm and inserts himself into the conversation. Genuinely not realizing this guy's intentions or what's going on besides you're uncomfortable and asks what's going on. Usually he's enough to diffuse the situation, but if someone's persistent he'll instead have you both leave.
Lydia: Has been in this kind of scenario too many times that she sees it coming across the room before anyone talks to you. She's learned exactly how to handle herself, either sweetly or with words that cut. Or if she had a 'big, strong, man' to handle it for her. Lydia's at your side immediately, telling them you're not interested and how far she'll shove her heel up their ass.
Liam: Sure, mess with the S/O of the werewolf kid with IED, that's a good idea. He doesn't usually stray far from your side but a few steps away was enough for someone to take his spot and feel a little too comfortable getting in your space and questioning you. His gaze shoots to you as discomfort sours your scent. He speeds over, eyes flashing gold and getting right in their face with you behind him. Not afraid to get physical if they want to keep it up.
Also if it's Brett coming to flirt with you, either because he's a slut or just to try and piss Liam off and you really are uncomfortable with his advances, all bets are off. Claws are out and he wants blood, it's a whole scene.
Isaac: At first it's a little harder for Isaac to come to your rescue, even though he's a werewolf now he's not used to the kind of confidence of doing something like this. You were always the one to try and protect him, and never faulted him when he didn't come to your defense, just trying to make sure you were okay after.
But now he's a werewolf, he can do better. He stronger. Intimidating. Despite everything, he still had to psych himself up walking over to you, who is obviously uncomfortable. He's not sure how to insert himself, but he is quite noticeable and doesn't have to do much. Being so much taller (and chest puffed) than your pest, they take the smart move to leave. Visibly deflate and swallows after that interaction and asks if you're okay. Gets bashful when you call him your knight.
Malia: No filter and very brash. People have thought of messing with her but the energy she gives off and feral look in her eye is almost always enough to deter them first. You though, are not so lucky. Already very standoffish, once she sense someone is making you uncomfortable she is staring them down and growling, barely keeping her claws in even as they leave.
Derek: He normally is overprotective of you, usually you just roll your eyes at his worries. But you certainly feel safe with a scowling sourwolf beside you. Until he's gone a few minutes too long and someone thinks that's their chance.
When he sees someone crowding in on you he's speeding right through the crowd and shoving them backwards hard enough to make them stumble and once they're thoroughly scared shitless by his hardened stare to flee, he's trying to get you to leave grumbling how "we never should have come here anyway."

Love at First Sight
Pairing: Stiles x McCall!fem!reader
Genre: Fluff
Characters: Scott, Stiles, Y/N
Description: Y/N and Scott are cousins and haven't seen each other for 5 years when you left Beacon Hills. When she arrives back, Scott throws a party for her and introduces her to Stiles, who seems very happy to meet her.
Tumblr media
You smiled widely as you pulled up outside Scott's house, excitement building up inside. Scott is your favourite cousin and the one that you're most close to, so you couldn't wait to knock on his front door and surprise him. Being so close to Scott you knew all about the supernatural world and the fact that he was an alpha werewolf, so you knew that there would be no surprises coming your way, or so you thought.
You walked up the path to his house and knocked on the door, leaning on your heels as you waited. Your smile grew and grew as you heard Scott's voice and the jangle of the keys in the lock. He stood there in both shock and happiness when he swung the door open and seen you standing there.
"Y/N? What the hell are you doing here?" Scott opened his arms and engulfed you to his chest, nearly squeezing the life out of you. "Scott...can't...breathe." "Ooo sorry, I tend to forget my strength sometimes." You chuckled and took a look at Scott, closing the door behind you.
He really had changed since the last time you seen him. There was a lot more muscle on his body and he seemed to have grown quite a few inches. "I see the werewolf life is treating you well then." You gestured up and down whilst Scott chuckled, nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah, I guess I've changed a lot since you last seen me. How long's it been?" "Five years." Scott's mouth hung open. "No, it can't have been that long. Seriously." You nodded your head and smiled. "Yep, seriously."
You both walked towards the sofa and sat down. "Anyway, you didn't answer my question. What are you doing here?" "Well, my dad has changed jobs again so we needed to move house. It turns out, he's going to be working just outside Beacon Hills! You'll be seeing a whole lot more of me because this time, we're staying!"
A beaming smile spread across Scott's features. "I've just had the perfect idea. Seems you're now back permanently, you're going to need some familiar faces so I'm going to throw you a party. A welcome back party."
You furrowed your eyebrows. "I'm not too sure, Scott. What if they don't like me?" He put his hand on your shoulder and gave you a comforting smile. "Trust me, they are going to love you."
____________
Scott had given you the low down of all the people who are going to be at the party.
"So, Lydia is a banshee. What exactly is that again?" You smoothed down your dress and put on the finished touches to your make-up. "Lydia can sense when someone has died or is near death. Her scream is also very powerful and can throw people back a good few feet."
You nodded your head. "Derek, Liam and Malia are all werewolves?" He nodded. "Malia is a were-coyote. Her mom is a coyote, her dad is a werewolf. Liam is my beta, I turned him accidentally when I was trying to save him. Derek is a strong werewolf, one of the most powerful I've seen."
"Kira is a kitsune? A fire fox?" You put some hairspray in your hair and turned round to Scott. "And she is also my girlfriend." You widened your eyes and smacked him on the shoulder. "Scott McCall, why on earth did you not tell me you have a girlfriend?" His cheeks grew red with embarrassment. "I...I" You laughed and ruffled his hair. "I'm only kidding. But please tell me you know at least one human that isn't me?"
At that, Scott's smile grew wide and cunning. "My best friend, Stiles. He's the smartest person I know but he's also very sarcastic." "It sounds like I'm really going to like him." A soft smile grew on your face before you turned back towards the mirror for one last check.
"C'mon, Y/N. We can't have you being late to your own party." Scott grabbed your hand and led you out the door and down the stairs to meet everyone.
____________
Everyone you had met were extremely nice to you and welcomed you into the pack. Lydia, Kira and Malia were all very happy that they were no longer outnumbered by the boys. Derek was very welcoming to you which Scott said was a complete surprise because he usually just growls at people and walks away.
"And this is Stiles. Stiles, meet Y/N. Y/N meet Stiles." Stiles turned around to greet you when your eyes met. You were completely mesmerised by his chocolate brown eyes and the cute little freckles scattered across his face. Stiles' mouth hang agape as his eyes gazed over your features. Seeing the reaction you both had to each other, Scott smiled to himself and slowly walked away to watch his plan hatch.
"H-hi, I-i'm Stiles." He kept his gaze on you which made you blush. "I'm Y/N, Scott's cousin." You both stood there for a while just staring at each other. "I'm sorry, I don't know how someone as beautiful as you can be related to Scott. I mean, he's a dog."
"Hey! Just because I'm not standing next to you doesn't mean I can't hear what you're saying!" You laughed at the joke, nervously tucking your hair behind your ears. "You are right, though. He is a dog." "Thanks a lot, Stilinski."
"Anytime, pal." He winked at Scott before turning his attention back to you. "So, Scott's told me a little about you and I have to say, I'm very intrigued." You both began to walk together towards the back yard to try and grab some privacy.
"You're intrigued by me? A human? You literally live in a town full of supernatural creatures and you're interested in my life?" You both sat down facing each other on a bench, your arms leaning on the table. "Well, I don't have a normal human life. I'm always dragged into Scott's werewolf drama. I wanna know how the other half live."
You told Stiles all about your life and the different things you had accomplished. Throughout the conversation, Stiles didn't once take his eyes off you; always keeping his attention on you.
You both sat in a comfortable silence just staring at each other until you both slowly leaned over the table and kissed. It was new and exciting and sweet. Excitement and electricity run through your nerves as you kept the connection, Stiles' hand resting against your cheek.
Your hand rested on top of his as you leaned into his warmth, a warm blush spreading across your cheeks. Stiles smiled at you, completely content, until the moment was ruined by wolf whistles and squeals coming from the back door of the house, or more rightly Scott.
"My plan worked! I knew you two would hit it off." Scott smiled confidently at the both of you. You both shook your heads at him. "Can we not have, like, five minutes privacy please?" Lydia pulled Scott back into the house and closed the door but not before giving him a thump for good measure.
"So, where were we?" Stiles leaned over the table again and pressed his lips to yours, this time more passionately. "I think we were getting up to the part where we make out, a lot." Stiles wiggled his eyebrows and pulled you over the table and into his lap causing you to laugh and slap his chest.
From that moment, you guys were inseparable and it was all thanks to Scott who you both knew would never let you forget it.

Guys you don’t get it because Eli was basically just a Stiles replica. And all of the fandom could recognize that. Even Tyler Hoechlin acknowledged that. So who’s to say the others didn’t? Who’s to say Scott, Malia, Lydia, the sheriff, and Jackson didn’t? You’re telling me the sheriff saw this spastic kid wearing flannel and driving Stiles jeep and didn’t notice the similarities between him and his son? I call bull. I believe Derek was constantly getting amused looks shot at him every time Eli did something that was just a little too much like Stiles. I believe Coach Finstock absolutely assumed that Eli was a Stilinski and was absolutely flabbergasted when Derek Hale showed up claiming to be Eli’s dad. And I bet Derek just nodded in understanding, because even he sees the similarities, and although everyone else assumed he’d be annoyed by it, he’s really, really not.

okay so. now that ive taken some time to breathe, compose myself, and gather my thoughts, lemme lay out why the teen wolf movie was a hot holy mess (besides, you know, the obvious) as a teen wolf enthusiast and expert.
a lot of the characters were really little more than set dressing. to be specific, i think liam could have been replaced by a mailbox with a hat and the movie would have been the same (and this is coming from a major liam fan). the same can be said for mason, malia, melissa, peter, and honestly even the sheriff (which i hate bc god he was such a core of the show). i think parrish was only useful in one specific instance and even that isn't enough to warrant him being in the film. the characters i loved felt like cardboard cutouts and that wasnt fair to me, to the characters, or to the actors. i would have rather they not been there at all tbh. like just leave liam out of this if youre gonna do him like that fr
a lot of the plot points felt... disjointed and weird. saraid said it felt like three different movies in one and i have to agree. derek and eli felt like its own thing, then scott and allison, and then everything else (whatever the hell parrish and malia had going on, the lydia and jackson buddy cop comedy, liam in... japan with a ramen shop i think? and some random girlfriend that happened to be a kitsune) kind of fell to the wayside in between.
this movie was truly so flat without kira. it was hard to make a nogitsune movie without stiles, but it was almost impossible to make without her. hikari unfortunately ended up just feeling like a woman they randomly shoved into all the plot points kira was supposed to be in. because she didnt have a character besides liams girlfriend (and because liam was barely a character himself), she just couldn't compare and so kiras lack of presence was really felt. she left a huge hole in the narrative. they didnt even mention her and you knew what was missing. if you had cut khylin and dylan sprayberrys checks entirely, im sure they would have had enough to pay her as much as the rest of her white coworkers :) but that's just my opinion xxx
this was supposed to be for fans of the original series, but really just felt like jeff davis's weird rare pair fanfiction. instead of focusing on the dynamics that already existed - melissa and the sheriff, malia and peter, scott and liam, derek and. anyone really - he ended up delving into all these new dynamics with only two hours to develop them. malia and parrish (which. i really had to mentally run through the show to see if those two had interacted before and i dont think they have), liam and hikari, and derek and eli. all of which had a shot at being interesting but because there were so many different plots going on, it all just felt. awkward and confusing.
that being said, im gonna move onto derek and eli generally. i like eli! i do. i thought he was funny, i thought the actor was super charming (although the timeline made no sense because if he was born fifteen years ago And allison died fifteen years ago he would be braedens and. hate to say it folks. thats not braedens baby. make him mixed jeff davis you fucking coward). really, i liked him. ... but not at the expense of dereks character. the derek i knew was an asshole. he was mean, he was sarcastic, he was a bastard (honorifically). its not to say that people cant change, but... the derek i saw in the movie was a complete 180 from the derek we last saw in the series. honestly, the derek i saw in the series probably wouldn't have made a good parent - we saw how he was with erica, isaac, and boyd. even with scott. derek was kind of a dick. i dont even think he would have wanted kids - i think he would raise them out of duty, and i think he would if a partner wanted him to. but i dont think kids were ever in his life plan. and i think that could have been super interesting to see with him and eli. i think making him a parent could have been really interesting and it just. crumbled.
i know i mentioned the timeline in that last bit but. the timeline. it hurts my head. when was eli born. what year is it. how long has it been since scott has been in beacon hills. im so confused.
lets talk about adrian harris. shall we. i have made a list of people who i think would have been a better villain reveal are you ready: allison, peter, theo, chris argent, kate argent (resurrected), matt daehler (resurrected), victoria argent (resurrected), kira herself, danny mahealani, rafe mccall, isaac's shit dad, coach, greenberg, me with a baseball bat filled with rusty nails, jeff davis in a wig. the list goes on. you could not have picked a more random and less memorable character to reveal as your villain. i almost felt like i was being mocked. "haha! you didnt expect it to be this guy? the chemistry teacher who also died fifteen years ago? who had almost nothing to do with the plot until season 3? stupid! idiot!" i have never been so mad in my life
speaking of villain. did they forget what a nogitsune is. it needs a host. its not some guy they can stab to death. its a concept, a feeling, a parasite. its a manifestation of mental illness. but no sorry excuse me i must be wrong bc now its also a werewolf??????? im sorry. am i the crazy one. give me void allison! give me allison as the host and shes being taken over and she has those bags under her eyes and that creepy void stare and grin! give me crystal reed emmy noms! while we're on the subject, heres some more questions about the nogitsune include: why was it in a jar? why was it with LIAM of all people (who didnt even know what that was)? why did its powers completely change? HOW was it a werewolf????????? i cant stop thinking about it.
i said it once and ill say it again: jackson fucking carried this movie. he was giving all season one jackson, he was bringing comic relief, he was even bringing up ethan when no one else would! king! he carried. but he shouldn't have had to. dont get me wrong, i think crystal reed ate and left no crumbs. this was allisons movie and it should have been. but when the other two standout characters imo were jackson (who arguably did nothing) and coach (who did even less)... you simply didnt use your characters well. i think i would put deaton up there and even chris, but... scott and lydia? this should have been their movie. but scott spent nearly the whole movie ignoring his friends, and lydia was reduced to 'woman whose plot was about a man,' again. it was horrible. lydia outgrew that song and dance by season two. and scott? hasnt been to beacon hills in twelve years? hasnt seen his mom or his friends? not the scott mccall i know.
this is not about shipping discourse this post will never be about shipping discourse so i say this as a completely objective party. that being said. st/dia was so strangely shoved in there at the end. how did harris even know about lydia leaving stiles. how did he know about her dream. how did it add to the plot. like yes the nogitsune feeds of chaos and strife but i think lydia was getting enough of that watching her friends get murdered. it felt like a weird way to explain why dob wasnt there and it simply didnt work. i would have rather they not said anything about stiles at all.
anyway, this is skipping over a lot of other little things that i thought were really bad (sexualizing malia who literally had the mentality of an eight year old for most of her life AGAIN, why was mason a fucking cop, peters lack of interaction with the hale family which is what made him interesting in the first place, the absolute insanity of allison coming back to life and just being absolutely okay even though shes been dead for fifteen years, died at the hands of her friend, and almost everyone she knew including stiles, isaac, and kira are all just gone now), but boy oh boy. for a while it was funny bad. like "oh this is bad but i can still enjoy this for what it is" bad. but those last ten minutes. what is actually absolutely wrong with jeff davis. there are very few times ive felt this betrayed by tv shows i held this close to my heart, but im there. im heartbroken. i wont go on about it here, bc honestly, it would need its own post considering how much i have to say. but if the rest of the movie was bad? that was shit was traumatizing.
anyway. so sorry this post is this long, and so sorry i couldnt come back with a positive review. this show died long ago; i think we should have just let it rest - nobody asked for a reunion, and now i can see that was with good reason. so the next time jeff davis opens up an email with a header titled 'sequel idea' and he ccs tyler posey, i think we should all just agree to ler arden cho beat him to death in a dennys parking lot instead.

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE TEEN WOLF MOVIE:
Ok so first of all, the Nogitsune's "divine move" didn't make any sense, wtf was that? They broke all the rules. You can't be a fox and a wolf
Then, there's the lousy excuse for Stiles and Lydia breaking up. The hell. I don't even ship them, but like NO. What, it was too hard to say that he was on an important FBI mission? Losers
Liam, Mason, Hikari, Jackson? What were yall doing here? What purpose did you serve my dudes? I freaking love Liam, and I was so excited for Hikari, and then they give us this. They barely even talked.
I was so confused during the entire movie, I didn't know whether or not Chris and Melissa were still a thing??
It wasn't explained properly enough that Malia was actually kind of Eli's aunt/cousin/sibling, like it took me a while to figure out he had grown up in her presence
Btw who tf is Eli's mom??? When they started mentioning Harris I was like oh we're probably gonna see Jennifer again right it's all linked, she came right before the Nogitsune it would make sense that she has something to do with his return and maybe she's also Eli's mom, like it was the most logical explanation if we think of the timeline but no, nope, Eli just doesn't have a mom!
Also what was Harris doing here? And the acting of the guy who plays him was weird (sorry to hate but not sorry it was really bad)
Allison coming back to stay just ruined her previous departure
They should have implied Thiam was a thing not give Liam a f*cking girlfriend
The way Allison came back was laughable
Why did they have to make Malia and Parrish a thing they interacted like twice
The random swearing every five minutes just because they could put it there smh
The way they explained Eli's reluctance to transforming being trauma and then Derek doing just the thing that traumatized Eli in order for him to transform and it working???
I'm so sad and disappointed we didn't see more Malia/Derek interactions it would have been f*king hilarious
Last but not least, Derek. Derek dying, after everything that he'd been through. After all the abuse and years of fighting. They pulled an Enzo St. John fr. Derek dying in the same way his entire family died. Burned alive. And the writers being like "Yeah but look it's okay he became a true alpha" IDGAF. HE PROBABLY DIDN'T GAF EITHER. MY DUDE WANTED TO LIVE. HE WANTED TO RAISE HIS KID. AND THEN HE DIES AND ALLISON AND SCOTT JUST KISS LOVINGLY LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED, LIKE ELI ISN'T CRYING ON THE GROUNG TRAUMATIZED AFTER WATCHING HIS FATHER BURN TO DEATH?!?! Also Malia was the one who had the most appropriate reaction like thank you for being the only one to be shocked and crying, queen. Your cousin deserved better

Thank you to my amazing Beta who always makes herself available to edit for me! Thanks @lets-imagine-fanfics
ENJOY!!
******
You stared from the car you were hiding behind, at Theo’s truck, with a frown. The cops were about to knock on his window once again for sleeping in his truck but this time you couldn’t stand by and watch it. You strolled over to the car raising an eyebrow at the annoyed looking cop.
“Is there a problem officer?” You asked calmly, your voice quiet as not to wake Theo up.
“He can’t sleep here.” He stated with a frown.
“He was waiting for me.” You retaliated, cheekily which seemed to have pissed him off.
“Shouldn’t you be at home? It's 1 am, kid” He huffed angrily.
“I’m 19 and FYI my parents are dead.” You snapped, crossing your arms across your chest.
The officer huffed before he walked back to his car. You quickly got into the truck with a scowl set in place. Theo shot up and stared at you with tired eyes, you rolled your eyes and started the car up before driving off.
“Y/N what are you doing here?” Theo questioned, his confused voice sounding adorable.
“I’m taking you to my house.” You muttered casually as you kept driving. He sat up straighter, his eyes widening quickly as he looked out his truck as if trying to find any way to escape this fate.
“You m-mean the house you share with your brother, Derek, and your uncle Peter who are members of Scott McCall’s pack, who hate me?” He questioned though you knew he didn’t need an answer because he knew the answer was yes.
“Uncle Peter isn’t really a part of Scott’s pack, it’s more like he helps for Malia’s sake.” You stated, trying to distract him from what he probably assumed was his impending doom.
You arrive at the house Derek and Peter had bought recently. It was a big house with about 7 rooms and a double garage but that was mainly because sometimes the pack stayed over when they weren’t away for college.
You pulled up into the garage before getting out of the car, knowing this house would soon be a war zone. You grabbed Theo and walked out of the garage into the house but as soon as you did Derek had Theo pinned to the wall.
“Derek, let him go!” You yelled as you tried to pull your older brother off of him.
“Why is this sociopath in my house!?” He growled angrily, his forearm pushing against Theo’s throat.
“Because I brought him here, now if you don’t let him go I’m going to scream so loud the neighbours will call the cops!” You demanded childishly.
“You’re not 5 anymore that won’t wo-” Before he could finish you took a deep breath and began screaming. Derek quickly let Theo go and covered your mouth. He let go when he felt you smile under his palm.
“He’s staying with us for a while. He’s been sleeping in his truck and it’s not safe. Werewolf or not.” You stated before standing in front of Theo.
“Why is that our problem!?” Derek screamed causing you to flinch.
“Because no one deserves to live like that and he’s no worse than Uncle Peter!”  You yelled angrily, however that was when Peter decided to make an appearance.
“I resent that statement.” He chuckled softly as he approached Theo with a glare.
“However if the kid needs a place to stay and he’s a friend of my favourite niece, then let him stay.” He added with a sickeningly sweet smile.
“Thanks, Uncle Peter, Love you!” You giggled whilst dragging Theo off before Derek could protest. Theo was quiet as you dragged him to the spare room across from your bedroom.
“Why are you doing this?” Theo asked quietly as you dropped his sports bag on the floor.
“Because I believe everyone can find redemption.” You stated softly and you spun around to face him.
“Even me? Who killed his own sister?” Theo grunted, his eyes cast down in shame.
“Yes.” You replied gently.
“Why?” He huffed anxiously, his eyes looking up to you.
“Because I’m looking at your face right now and all I see is guilt. You want to start again and try to be a better man. I’m willing to help you.” You whispered, a sad smile working its way to your face.
Theo didn’t say anything else just kept his eyes to the ground as you explained there were towels in the cupboard in his en-suite bathroom. You told him to wash up and come to the kitchen, after explaining where the kitchen was.
You walked out the room without another word, before walking downstairs to get started on food. You knew it was late but you wanted to make sure he ate properly before he slept so you heated up some homemade tomato soup you made then fried up some grilled cheese.
By the time Theo wandered it to the kitchen, food was being plated up. He was wearing a pair of dark grey skinny joggers and a black tank top. You nodded to the breakfast bar stool before cutting the two grilled cheese sandwiches in half.
You placed the bowl of soup and grilled cheese in front of him with a caring smile on your face. Stroking the back of his head before moving away to make yourself a cup of fruit tea. He stared at the food with wide eyes before he looked up at you. You nodded letting him know you’d made it for him and it was okay to eat.
He began eating, slowly at first but it seemed when he’d realised how hungry he was, his pace sped up. You stared at him with a smile whilst sipping your tea. You were a year older than Theo and for some reason, it felt like you had to look after him. He was broken and currently trying to earn trust from the pack. He’s earned, Mason's, Corey’s and Liam’s but the rest of the pack was a little more difficult, hence the reason he didn’t tell the pack he was homeless because he didn’t want sympathy. He wanted trust.
You’d learned he was asleep in his truck about a week ago when you’d followed him after he’d attended a pack meeting. You had wanted to ask him if he wanted to get coffee with you and Lydia to try and get Lydia to warm up to him but when you’d seen the sleeping bag you’d stayed there all night to see if he moved, which he didn’t. That was until the cops told him to leave. This kept happening every night for a week, but tonight you couldn’t bear to see it anymore.
Theo finished his food quickly then glanced at you with a shy smile on his face. He picked up his dishes and dragged them to the sink before turning on the tap and picking up the sponge on the side. You grabbed his hand to stop him and nodded to the dishwasher in the corner, he loaded them up with a blush evident on his face.
“Come on let's go to my room and blow dry your hair you can’t sleep like that.” You chuckled before grabbing his hand and dragging him to your room. You sit him on the floor in front of your vanity table chair, before sitting behind him.
“I can do it…” Theo muttered quietly and had you not been a werewolf you most likely wouldn’t have heard it.
“Let me.” Is all you said before you began drying his hair slowly, taking your time for reasons unknown to you but somehow doing this felt almost natural.
You finished drying his hair, brushing through it so it didn’t get knotted, then stood up making your way to stand in front of him. He looked up at you, his longish hair falling into his eyes slightly. You gave him a smile before turning around but before you could you felt Theo grab your hand slowly.
You turned to face him and as you did he rested his head on your stomach, wrapping his muscled arms around your waist.  You should have found it strange that Theo Raeken was hugging you but all you could think about was how sweet and endearing it was.
You thread your fingers through his now dry hair as your other hand cupped his jaw and stroked his cheek. Suddenly you felt a wetness soaking into your shirt, shocking you to the core. Theo hugging you was one thing, but to have this poor man crying into your shirt was heartbreaking.
You took his arms off you causing him to look up with a broken frown, clearing thinking you weren’t going to comfort him but you put those thoughts to a stop when you held out your hand and pulled him up. You pulled him over to your bed and laid down motioning him to do the same.
When he laid next to you, you pulled him over and wrapped your arms around him. His head resting on your chest as he continued sniffling and crying. You ran your fingers through his hair, never speaking a word just holding him.
When he finally stopped crying and you heard his breathing even out, you figured he was sleeping so you somehow pulled the covers over you both and you fell asleep soon after with Theo Raeken wrapped tightly around your body.
When morning came Theo was somehow still laid on your chest, which caused you to chuckle silently. Someone opened your bedroom door and in walked Scott McCall whose eyes widened at the sight. You motion for him to be quiet as you detangled yourself from Theo who thankfully stayed asleep. You dragged Scott to the kitchen before he started yelling.
“ARE YOU CRAZY!? HAVING HIM STAY HERE IS ONE THING HAVING HIM SLEEP IN YOUR BED IS ANOTHER!” Thankfully you knew Derek would be out by now and Peter would be spending time with Malia since it was a Saturday.
“He was crying and I comforted him he fell asleep hugging me so I let him! Unlike you, I believe people deserve a second chance!” You yelled back causing Scott to growl.
“He could’ve hurt you.” He sighed angrily, his yelling ceasing for the time being.
“He wouldn’t hurt me.” You retaliated equally as angry.
“How would you know?” He growled moodily.
“Because I trust him.” You huffed before turning the coffee machine on.
“You trust him?” Scott asked seriously his anger fading slowly.
“Yes. I just wish you would too.” You muttered gently, as you thought back to all the time he’d proved himself recently.
“You like him.” Scott sighed like it was the worst scenario he’d even thought of.
“That’s none of your business.” You snorted as the coffee machine beeped.
“If he makes one wrong move you’d tell me?” Scott asked softly, you sent him a nod before pouring and him a cup of coffee.
You both chatted for a little longer about pack things before Theo wandered into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes and looking like a lost little puppy. He didn’t seem to notice Scott as you held out your coffee cup for him. He took it and drank the rest before pouring another one and drinking a little then passing it back to you.
“What are there no other cups in this house?” Scott snorted, startling Theo who accidentally caught his head on the corner of the cupboard he’d just opened.
“Oh my god! Honey are you okay!?” You exclaimed worriedly as you shot out your chair to check on him.
“I’m okay…” He muttered shyly as he rubbed his head and glanced at Scott.
“Good morning Scott…” He added, nodding his head at Scott in greeting.
“Good morning Theo.” Scott responded with a deadpan face. You picked up an apple and threw it at his head, totally taking him off guard and hitting him in the head.
“I’m gonna make some omelettes. What do you want in yours, Scott?” You asked cheerfully as he rubbed his head from where the apple had just hit him.
“Bacon, cheese and mushrooms.” He huffed as he put the apple back into the fruits basket. You glanced at Theo who answered quietly.
“Bacon, cheese, and onion…Please.” His manners earned his a very vibrant smile from you as you began getting ingredients from the fridge.
You were cutting up the mushrooms as Theo sat down next to Scott, not daring to look at him. You flicked glances between the two boys before letting out a wince. You accidentally sliced your finger while you hadn’t been paying attention but suddenly Theo was out his seat and cupping your cheek. You glanced down to see black veins appearing on his arm.
“Theo, you don’t need to take my pain. I’m fine. See already healed.” You chuckled softly as you showed him the healed cut. He nodded softly before going to sit back down, however, they hadn’t realised Scott was watching the little display of affection with a frown.
He now realised you might be right to a degree but what he’d also figured out, that was clear as day, Theo’s humanity laid in your hands. Scott smiled at the look Theo gave you as he watched you work on cutting the vegetables again. That was the look Scott always gave Allison if she’d ever hurt herself.
You served up the omelettes and placed sauces in front of the boys so they could choose. You dug into your breakfast barely registering that Derek or Stiles walked into the kitchen until Stiles spoke.
“Why are you having breakfast with an enemy?” Stiles whined childishly.
“Shut up Stiles before I rip your throat out…with my teeth.” You growled as you chewed on a piece of omelette.
“God, you can tell you two are siblings.” Stiles sighed dramatically. Theo looked like he was about to leave when you pulled him to sit back down. You ran your hands through his hair softly before tucking a stray piece behind his ear.
“Eat your food and ignore him.” You muttered gently, as you shot him a caring smile. He gave you a nod before he began eating his food silently.
“Did you just tuck a piece of hair behind Theo Raeken ear…and he didn’t maul your hand off?” Stiles muttered sarcastically and before anyone could blink you had Stiles pinned to the nearest wall.
“Y/N, let him go!” Derek shouted angrily as he tried to pry you off him.
“NO! I get you don’t like him! I get you don’t trust him! But right now you’re in my home and he is a guest who is doing nothing but eating his breakfast! LEAVE HIM ALONE!” You roared your eyes glowing golden.
“Scott do something!” Derek snapped as he tried to yank you off of Stiles again.
“She’s right.” Was all Scott had to say for you to let Stiles go and walk off to check on Theo.
“WHAT!?” Derek growled, confusion taking over his face.
“I think Theo has changed and I don’t trust him but I’m willing to try.” Scott stated as he passed Theo a cup of coffee earning a thank you and a head duck from the other man.
“You’re serious?” Derek’s eyebrows went from furrowed to his hairline in seconds.
“Earlier Y/N cut her finger with a knife while cutting veg up…Theo ran to her so fast to take the pain.” Scott smirked as both you and Theo blushed.
“She’s a werewolf…a born one at that?” Stiles’ eyes widened at this new information.
“Exactly.” Scott snorted as you and Theo ducked your head down awkwardly.
“Maybe he did it to impress you?” Stiles supplied like it was the only thing that made sense.
“He looked at her…Like how I looked at Allison and how you look at Lydia...” Scott muttered awkwardly as your head shot up and Theo looked like he wished the ground would swallow him…again. Stiles eyes almost bugged out his head, glancing at Derek who looked like he wanted to kill Theo.
“He’s no worse than your uncle and I forgave him. Though I tried to trust him however the Deadpool happened so now I tolerate him instead.” Scott snorted sarcastically, earning a hi-five from Stiles.
“Fine! But one wrong move and I’ll make you wish you were back in hell.” Derek growled before sipping his coffee casually.
Theo nodded and started to clean up everyone plates, scraping them and loading them in the dishwasher. Stiles’ eye was twitching like he was trying to control a sarcastic remark which made you cover your hand to hide the giggle that came out.
You grabbed Theo’s hand as Scott was leaving and waved goodbye as you walked up the stairs with Theo being tugged along. You got into your bedroom and turned to him with a smile which he returned. You grabbed a hairbrush and pulled down to your vanity table chair. You brushed through his hair before styling it quickly. He glanced at you in the mirror and began talking.
“C-Can I do your hair?” He asked softly causing your eyes to widen in shock. You gave him a nod before he stood up and placed you on the chair.
His hand played with your S/L  Y/H/C hair for a while, causing you to smile before he started running the hairbrush through your hair gently. His small smile as he stared at your hair stirred butterflies in your stomach.
Once he’d brushed it, he grabbed a clip from the side and pinned up two-thirds of your hair, before grabbing your straighteners, at this point you were internally freaking out. He grinned at you through the mirror before he began straightening your hair gently.
After a few minutes, he hadn’t burnt you or your hair so you deemed it safe to relax. He continued working until he’d finished all your hair, brushing through it to make sure it wasn’t knotted. You smiled at his work before standing up and hugging him.
The last hug you had was about comfort and you’d held Theo however, this hug was purely because you wanted to and this time it was Theo’s strong arms that engulfed you. You took in his scent and the emotion radiating the room. Happiness and content covered the room from both parties.
You pulled back and stared into his eyes. But your eyes soon widened when you realised Scott was right. There stood Theo Raeken staring down at you like you were the most beautiful thing and person in the world.
One of Theo’s hands let go of your waist whilst the other hung on for dear life. His hand cupped your cheek slowly, giving you every chance to escape but all you could do was stare at him in shock and amazement.
You clutched his tank top material that covered his chest as he drew closer to you. His eyes flicking down to your lips before looking into your eyes. As he drew closer, you closed your eyes and then suddenly felt it. His warm soft lips were on yours.
It was a soft and innocent kiss which was okay with you because you needed baby steps. So you kissed back just as softly pouring all the good feeling he’s ever given you into the kiss. After a few open-mouthed kisses, he pulled back with the biggest happiest grin you’d ever seen on Theo.
“I like you.” He announced his smile still in place.
“I should hope so. You just kissed me.” You giggled, placing a kiss on his cheek.
“I like you too.” You added as you pulled away from his cheek.
“Oh well if that’s the case…We should totally go out on a date.” He exclaimed cockily causing you to burst out laughing.
“There’s my overconfident Theo. I wondered where he’d gone since you’ve been so subdued.” You laughed, patting his cheek affectionately.
“A date sounds good.” You added as you cupped his cheek.
“Perfect.” He whispered before leaning in for another kiss.

Theo Raeken x Reader : Mi Amor
pairing -Theo Raeken x Reader
disclaimer - nothing but come cute stuff and fluff.
req by - anon.
Tumblr media
Y/N hasn't been with the Pack for a while (as she had been on a vacay) so she didn't knew exactly what was happening around, but she felt this uncanny thing, as if something bad is going to be in town, or already is in town. Y/N is a mere human and met the pack by chance while trying to say herself from an omega. And since then, she has known about the supernatural world.
She was lost in your own world while walking towards he rhome when a truck parked on a side caught her attention.
'Theo?' Y/N gasped.
'Who-Y/N?'
Theo had woken up with a start and staring at the girl's face, had immediately recognized her.
That pretty girl he once shared everything with. His friend.
' What are you doing here, Theo? When did you come back? Why are you sleeping in this -' Y/N hurled questions.
'Umm..' Never ever in his life Theo had stammered but now.
Y/N felt something wrong with him. She simply said, 'Come with me.'
' You know I have none and nowhere to go.' he didn't want to tell that to her, but he couldn't help himself.
Y/N felt her insides clench.
So, depite his protests, she took him home with her.
----
'Hey Theo! Look what I have baked!' Y/N chirped as soon as she noticed him coming in through the front door.
He was beside her in an instant, holding a bouquet in his hand.
Y/N just raised a brow.
' Oh you had said once you like ( your fav flowers ) so I brought some for you.'
Although seeing the quantity, anyone could decipher it was anything but some.
'I look like a mess! Are you sure am looking alright?' Y/N pouted.
'You're the prettiest mess I've ever seen.' Theo smirked.
'Are you trying to flirt, Raeken?'
'Maybe?'
Scratch, surely.
'Hey, Y/N!' Danny approached, literally stealing her ( according to Theo) for the day ( actually for a project, and for just 30 mins).
'Why are you looking like a kicked puppy?' she asked, during lunch, to a sulking Theo.
'Theo was jealous.' Malia deadpanned, while a silent Theo glared at her.
'He wha-' Y/N yelled.
' I don't like the way he looks at you, Y/N.' Theo grumbled, earning a confused look from her, chuckles and smirks from others.
'Am tiredddd! I hate school!' she whined and rested her head on his shoulder, gently.
'Why?' Theo had never been this interested in someone's life like this, so eager to know tiniest details and listen so attentively, but it was different for her, with her.
'Don't tell me you love maths!'
'I don't like school itself.'
'Who enjoys school?' she pouted, 'Istg, if I ever have kids, I'll not pressurize them for maths!'
Something shifted in Theo. He started fiddling with his hands and felt his pulse rise.
'NOPE. NO.NEVER.' Theo grumbled, putting the pillows.
'But why? Rapunzel is good!'
'We watched Legally Blonde last night!'
But he gave in when she flashed her puppy eyes at him.
' Flynn is adorable! Irresistible!' she was gushing, minutes later into the movie.
'Why are you so obsessed with a cartoon- Ouch!'
Theo couldn't continue as Y/N had smacked his arm, 'Nothing against my baby!'
Without realizing, the two were getting domestic and closer.
'Theo is smiling genuinely? He can do that? Crap. Are we dead?'
'That isn't Theo, bruh.'
Was the Pack's reaction seeing him so soft, smiling, and being all goody two shoes for you and at you.
And all of a sudden, after all the butterflies, loving gazes, cheek kisses, he went away. Leaving Y/N hurt, sad and broken.
It has been a a hell lot of time since Theo had left.
' Y/N? Come to my home. Right now.' Scott had called her, and without greeting, just yelled that.
And she swore she'd never been that fast on the roads.
'Theodore Karl Raeken, Is this really you?' Y/N choked out seeing him standing in front of her, in flesh.
No one else was in the room and vicinity.
He just nodded. Theo had never been good with emotions so he wasn't able to figure out what he was feeling that moment. But, as soon as Y/N had take him in a hug, a tear rolled down his cheek as the emotion slowly came to his understanding.
He loves her.
'STAY. I need you more thank you think. I need you today, tomorrow and will need you till I die and in afterlife too.' Theo managed to speak out his heart, indirectly.
'I know there a flicker of what I wanted you to be still inside you, Theo. So am staying.' Y/N said and breaking out of the squeezed his palm.
Since then, Theo was changing more.
'Alright, let's get this over with!' Theo yelled, frustrated, after having enough dealing with his feelings.
'What, Theo?' she asked, confused.
' I like you, scratch, I love you and have been, for a long time.'
'You what?' she asked, shocked.
He stared at her soft, pink lips, trying too hard to not give in his instinct and kiss her then and there.
But after seconds, which felt like eternity to him, he gave in.
'You want me to stop?' Theo asked, even though Y/N was reciprocating.
'No.'
'I swear to god, am not going to do this again!' Y/N screamed her lungs out as she gave a strong push while Theo continued taking her pain away, wincing at it and the squeeze on his hand while cooing softly and encouraging his girlfriend.
'Calm down, Babe..'
'Shut up! This is because of you!'
'Alright, you've got this! One last push!' Melissa encouraged.
And few mins later, baby Raeken was born.
And it was the first time anyone had seen Theo cry.
A small smile graced Y/N's lips as she mumbled softly with her boyfriend beside her and their daughter in her arms, 'Tara. Tara Gracie Raeken.'
And Theo started sobbing harder.
'I can't decide who is the baby here.'
Theo chuckled as he wiped his tears and cooed to the little one, ' Hey Tara, this is Daddy. I know I have been a pretty bad person, but I promise I'll try to be better for you and your Mommy. I will always love and protect you both...And no partner for you till you're 40.'
'Seriously, Raeken?' Y/N scoffed, amused.
The transformation of Theo Raeken had taken everyone in shock and they continued to remain dazzled for years.

Note: Sorry this is so late!
Additional Note: While this is a Teen Wolf x Marvel AU, not everything is true to the shows/movies/comics. I had to change things for the story.
One Last Note: Y/N was adopted by Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. I did this so more people can see themselves in this story.
***I do not own Teen Wolf or Marvel or any related characters. This is a work of fanfiction and is meant for entertainment purposes only.***

Everyone was quiet as they made their way through the woods toward the hunter’s safe house. The only sound that could be heard was the crunching of leaves and sticks beneath their feet. Y/N knows it’s wrong, but she wishes she was Allison right now so she wouldn’t have to deal with everything.
Stiles doesn’t like the silence but it’s taking everything in him to break it. He’s worried that if he starts talking then he won’t be able to stop. He’s also not sure if he wants to accidentally piss off anyone who’s in charge of protecting his life.
As much as he’s annoyed at everything that has happened and that has come to light, he also can’t help but have a little fanboy moment inside his head. He’s about to head into battle with the Avengers. The last time they stormed a place he had been sidelined. Now, he’s walking through the woods, about to go into a little war with the hunters, with the Avengers suited up next to him. It’s like a dream he always had but also mixed with a nightmare he always had.
He watches Y/N from the back of the group as she and Chris lead them to the safe house. He doesn’t like that he’s been paired with Liam and Peter but it could be worse. He could be paired up with Peter Hale. He definitely wouldn’t make it out alive if that were the case.
“Are we almost there?” Peter Hale asks.
“Why? Do you have somewhere better to be?” Scott questions.
“Yes. I was thinking about asking your mother out again.”
“Wait, what?” Sam looks between Scott and Peter, confused about what he just heard. How old is this guy and why does it seem like he only hangs out with teenagers? He knows Peter is Derek’s uncle but he also dated one of these kids' mothers?
“Ignore him.” Derek rolls his eyes at his uncle. He just wants to get this over with. He’s tired of having to deal with the Argents and the Avengers. He wants to go home, wrap Y/N up in a warm blanket, and not leave their bedroom until they have to. This past week has caused him too much stress and he’s over it.
Y/N comes to a stop and waits for the others to stand around her, “We’ll split up here. Remember, Sam, Bucky, and Malia, you’ll take the right side. Kira, Natasha, and Wanda, you’ll follow them but then split off to the north side. Scott and Steve, you’re going to the left side. Stiles, Liam, and Peter, you’ll follow them. You’re in charge of killing the Anuk-ite, so good luck with that.”
Chris takes off his backpack before unzipping it and holding it out to everyone, “Everyone take a walkie-talkie. I’m sure these aren’t as advanced as some of you are used to but they’ll do. I’ve already set them to the correct channel but it’s channel 7 if you mess it up.”
“Radio in if you feel the Anuk-Ite so Stiles and them know where to go. He has the mountain ash to kill it so don’t try killing it yourself,” Y/N says while everyone grabs a walkie-talkie. “Also radio if you need help. While we have an idea of what we’re up against, there could be more and some of you have never had to fight these types of creatures before. They are very different from your space aliens.”
“Anything else?” Stiles asks.
“Yeah, don’t die.”
“How are you not a motivational speaker?”
“Okay, let’s go before they do this for another twenty minutes,” Scott says, walking away from the group to the left where Y/N told him to go. Steve presses a quick kiss to Bucky’s lips and murmurs something under his breath to him before following Scott.
“Radio in when you’re in place!” Y/N yells out to Scott.
The rest of the Avengers watch as Y/N and Stiles lock their pinky fingers and promise each other they won’t die. Y/N doesn’t know it but she’s done that since before Pepper gave her away. Anytime they’d go on a mission she’d make them promise they were going to come back. She believed that pinky promises were a binding promise and that there was no way you could break them. It’s little things like that that let them know that the girl they knew is still there, just a bit different.
“One last thing,” Y/N sticks out her hand toward Chris. Chris pulls out a bulletproof vest from his backpack and hands it to Y/N. She quickly pulls it over Stiles’ head and straps it around him before he has a chance to protest. “Just in case.”
“Why have I never been given one of these before?” Stiles scoffs.
“Just be grateful you’re getting one now. Now go.”
Chris, Derek, Peter Hale, Tony, and Y/N watch as the others run off to where they’re supposed to be.
“What else do you have in that bag?” Derek asks, eyeing the backpack in Chris’ hand.
“You don’t want to know,” Chris zips his backpack up and puts it back on his back.
“We’re in place.” Scott’s voice rings out of their walkie-talkies.
Y/N sighs as she tries to mentally prepare herself for the fight ahead, “I think I could sleep for a week after this. I’m surprised I haven't gotten a call from my boss yet saying I’m fired for being gone for so long. I swear I didn’t have this many vacation days.”
Derek moves to stand in front of Y/N to meet her eyes, “I’m sure they’ve seen the news and will understand why you haven’t been in for a while. Scott said Melissa was covering for you so I’m sure it’s fine.”
“I’ll have to get her something nice for covering for me this long.”
“And she’ll tell you that you don’t owe her anything.” Derek pulls Y/N close and presses a kiss against her forehead. He knows how stressed she is about everything because he’s also stressed about everything.
“We’re in place.” Bucky’s voice rings out from the walkie-talkies.
“How do you want us to get into the house?” Y/N turns to Tony at his question. She almost forgot the others were there with her and Derek.
“We need to wait until everyone has lured out as many hunters as possible then we fly in,” Y/N says.
“You can fly as well?” Tony’s eyebrows shoot up in shock. Did he miss something in the files Hydra made about her? Can werewolves fly?
“No, you’ll have to either carry me or I can get on your back.”
Tony goes to respond but Kira’s voice cuts him off as it rings out through the walkie-talkies, “We’re in place.”
“Okay,” Y/N looks around at Chris, Derek, Peter, and Tony, “you ready?”
Chris tightens the knife holders on his thighs and double-checks the gun in his hand, “Ready.”
“Ready,” Tony says as his suit builds around him.
“Can we finally get this over with?” Peter asks, inspecting his claws.
“I’m going to climb up into a tree until I think it’s time for us to hit the house. You should do the same.” Y/N says, looking at Tony. “I’m their biggest target and if they know where I am then they’ll forget about the others. We’ve got to hide a bit first.”
“I’ll follow you,” Tony replies.
Y/N looks back at Derek, “Be safe and kick some hunter ass. I love you.”
“I love you too,” Derek says before pressing a hard kiss on her lips, as if he’s scared he won’t see her again.
Y/N pulls away and walks over to the nearest tree, “You know what to do babe!”
Derek, Chris, and Peter watch as Y/N starts to climb up the tree and Tony flies up into the one next to her. Derek waits until he can no longer see her figure before transforming into his beta form.
“Now we can get this over with,” Derek says, letting out a loud roar to let everyone know it’s time to go and to let the hunters know they’re here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve tightens the shield around his arm before looking up at the sound of a roar.
“What was that?” Peter asks, looking around making sure nothing is coming at them. He’s dealt with a lot of weird things being in the Avengers but he’s never heard something like that before.
“That was Derek,” Stiles states.
“You stay here and wait for someone to radio you,” Scott tells Stiles, Liam, and Peter.
“Where are you going?” Liam asks.
“We’re going straight towards them. Let’s go.” Scott nods at Steve to follow him.
Steve huffs a bit in frustration as he follows Scott. He doesn’t enjoy being told what to do from a teenager. If it was Y/N here, he would follow without question. She might have been for 15 years but he’d still trust her with his life.
Scott slows as he gets closer to the safe house. He can already hear a few hunters loading their guns and sharpening their knives. He listens to their panicked voices as they talk about the roar they heard and how they know they’re being attacked. If he focuses hard enough he can also hear Stiles, Liam, and Peter bickering behind them.
“Let’s stop here. We don’t want to get too close.” Scott says. “We need to lure them out here.” Scott tries to count the number of hunters standing outside of the house in front of them.
“I got it,” Steve states, throwing his shield out toward the hunters. The shield hits three hunters, knocking them to the ground, before coming back to Steve.
“That’s one way to do it,” Scott mumbles, watching as the hunters look their way. He quickly ducts behind a tree as the hunters slowly make their way towards them.
Steve ducts behind another tree as they wait for the hunters to come closer. He can hear the ground crunch behind him letting him know where they are. He waits until he can see the end of a gun before jumping out and knocking the hunter back into two others.
That’s when all hell breaks loose.
Scott jumps out from where he’s hiding as all eyes are on Steve, throwing the hunter closest to him into a tree—knocking him out. Bullets start to fly as Steve and Scott attack. Scott’s surprised he hasn’t been hit by any bullets yet as knocks out another hunter.
Steve throws his shield toward the hunter's legs, the vibranium-metal breaking their knees and shins as it hits them. He quickly knocks them out as they hit the ground one by one. It’s not long until they’ve taken out all of the hunters that attacked them.
“Is that it?” Steve asks, knocking out the last hunter.
“I doubt it. The others must have the rest of the hunters distracted or the rest of them haven’t left the safe house.” Scott says, looking around for other hunters.
“We should move in,” Steve says, moving towards the safehouse before Scott sticks out an arm to stop him.
“Not until we’re told too.”
“There’s no one over here. We should move in.”
“Not until Y/N tells us too.”
Steve doesn’t understand why they can’t just move in. They easily took out the hunters. He doesn’t understand why they were acting like they were going to be a challenge. The hunters are down on their side and they have a clear shot toward the safe house.
Scott’s head quickly turns as he starts to smell something in the air, “Do you smell that?”
“What?” Steve doesn’t know what Scott’s talking about.
“It smells like…” Scott’s voice trails off as his eyes widen as he looks behind Steve.
Steve quickly turns around to see four large creatures standing behind him. They look like men wearing bones and an animal skull for a mask. “What am I looking at?”
“Berserkers.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sam and Bucky are standing back-to-back as they fight off the hunters around them while Malia holds off more of them.
“How many of these guys are there?” Sam asks, slamming another hunter onto the ground.
“I don’t know but they’re pissing me off,” Bucky says. His arm comes up to block the bullets being shot at him from a hunter on the ground. He rips the gun out of the hunter’s hand and knocks him out with a quick kick to the face.
Bucky turns to find another hunter to attack to see the hunters fleeing from them.
“Why are they running?” Sam asks.
“Something’s coming,” Malia states, her eyes closed while trying to listen to her surroundings.
Bucky tries to listen and see if he can hear what she hears. He closes his eyes for a second. It sounds like something is running toward them. He opens his eyes and looks into the woods in front of him. Something is charging at them.
“Get down!” Bucky tackles Sam to the ground as a deer jumps out from the trees and almost tramples over them. It runs past them almost as quickly as it appeared. It looked rabid.
“What the hell?” Sam mutters, staring at where the deer ran off.
Bucky looks down to where Sam is in his arms from when he tackled him. Disgusted, he scrambles up off the ground and away from Sam.
“Did you smell that?” Malia asks.
“Robo boy’s cheap cologne? Yeah, I smelled it.” Sam says, wiping the dirt off his suit as he stands up from the ground.
“No, the deer. It smelled like fear.”
“Fear?” Bucky asks. He thought that something was running at them but what if it was actually running away from something? He slowly pulls out his walkie-talkie while his eyes dart around. “We found the Anuk-Ite.”
“On our way,” Stiles’ voice rings out from the walkie-talkies.
“Are you sure?” Sam questions Bucky.
“Yeah, I’m su–” a pained scream from the woods cuts him off. He pauses, his head whipping toward the sound.
“Bucky! Buck!” someone is screaming out for him. He moves to run into the woods but Malia moves in front of him to stop him.
“What are you doing?” Malia asks.
“Do you not hear someone screaming?!” Bucky yells, angry that she’s preventing him from finding whoever’s yelling for him. He swears it almost sounded like Steve.
“The only person screaming right now is you,” Sam says.
“What?” Bucky looks between Sam and Malia. Can they not hear what he’s hearing?
Sam stares at Bucky for a second before realizing what’s happening, “Close your eyes! Close your eyes now!”
“Why am I closing my eyes?!” Malia yells, her eyes now shut tight.
“It’s the Anuk-Ite. Whatever happens, don’t open your eyes.”
Sam, Bucky, and Malia stand still as they wait for something to happen. They’re hoping Stiles gets here soon to kill the thing.
“How could you?” Bucky quickly whips his head around, his eyes still shut tight, as Steve’s voice whispers in his ear. “Why?”
“I don’t understand…” Bucky whispers, confused about what's happening.
“I told you to finish him.” Bucky’s head whips around again. He knows that voice. It belongs to the man responsible for turning him into the Winter Soldier, Arnim Zola.
“Buck…no,” Steve’s voice whimpers. “This isn’t you.”
“You have your orders, soldier! Kill him!”
“No!”
“You can’t stop him, Steve. He’s no longer the boy you used to know. He never will be. He has always been the Winter Soldier, and he always will be.”
Bucky’s closed eyes tighten as he repeatedly mutters to himself, “This isn’t real. It’s not real.”
“Buck…” Steve’s voice is quiet. Bucky can feel a soft hand caress his cheek. It feels like Steve.
“I’ll do it.” That sounds like Y/N’s voice but harsher. It sounds like when she was pretending to be under the hunter’s and Hydra’s control.
“Ah, my perfect soldier. Always ready to do what you’re told.” Zola’s voice sounds closer than it was before.
“She’s not your soldier,” Bucky growls. Y/N will never be Hydra’s soldier.
“I think you’re forgetting who you are. Let me remind you. Longing. Rusted. Seventeen. Daybrea–”
“Shut up!”
“It’s who you are! Now, finish your mission!”
“No!” Bucky is trying to remind himself that this isn’t real but it’s getting harder too.
“Let me.” Y/N’s voice is now coming from in front of him. “Just admit it. You couldn’t save yourself, you couldn’t save me, and you couldn’t save Steve.”
“Wh-what are you talking about?”
It goes quiet. Maybe it’s over?
As Bucky brings a hand up to his face to wipe away the overwhelmed tears that were slowly falling from his eyes, he hears the sound of someone being stabbed in front of him. His body goes rigid as he hears someone start to choke—possibly on their own blood.
“Hail Hydra,” Y/N’s voice whispers in his ear.
Bucky quickly opens his eyes toward the ground in shock and confusion. His eyes move slightly in front of him to a knife sticking out of someone. Not just someone. He’d recognize that uniform anywhere. Steve.
Bucky’s eyes shoot up to Steve’s face only to be met with the glowing purple eyes of the Anuk-ite. His body immediately turned to stone.
“Buck, you still good?!” Sam calls out, unaware of what just happened. He can’t hear Bucky but he can hear Malia. She sounds like she’s apologizing to someone until she goes quiet. “Malia?”
“Malia?!” Sam can hear someone yelling for her.
“Uncle Sam?! Uncle B?!” Peter rushes into the area where Sam, Bucky, and Malia are. Liam and Stiles run in behind him.
“Oh my god…” Stiles stares at Malia’s frozen figure. She looks like a statue from Medusa’s lair in the Percy Jackson movie.
“Please tell me you’re real?” Sam asks.
“The Anuk-Ite’s gone,” Liam says.
Sam opens his eyes to see Peter staring at a Bucky statue. Stiles and Liam are also crouched down next to a Malia statue.
“What happened?” Peter turns to look at Sam.
“I-I don’t know. One second it was here and now it’s not. I’m not even sure when this happened.” Sam gestures to Bucky. Why didn’t the Anuk-Ite go for him? He could hear Bucky talking to someone—most likely whoever the Anuk-Ite wanted him to talk to—and he could hear Malia, but nothing ever happened to him.
“Now what?” Liam asks.
“They still need people attacking on this side,” Stiles says. They need people to weaken the hunters from every side.
“I can still do it but I don’t know if I can do it alone,” Sam states.
“I’ll stay,” Liam volunteers. “I can help on this side while you two get the Anuk-Ite.”
Stiles looks hesitant but agrees, “Make sure nothing happens to them.” Stiles looks between Malia and Bucky and wonders how much longer he has before their current state is permanent.
“Where do you think it went?” Peter asks.
“I don’t know.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“What the hell are these people?!” Nat yells out, barely missing the edge of the blade that swipes at her.
“They’re Oni!” Kira yells back. She’s trying to hold off four Oni while Natasha and Wanda fight the other three.
“I thought we’re supposed to be fighting hunters?!”
“I thought the same thing!” Wanda yells.
Natasha ducks as one of the Oni swings their sword at her. She’s able to remove the sword from the Oni’s hand as the sword lodges itself in the tree next to her. Nat quickly pulls the sword away from the tree and watches as the Oni pulls another sword out of nowhere.
“We’re going to die here.” Nat mumbles, readying herself to continue fighting.
As Kira blocks the Oni’s swings, she can see the glint of a weapon coming from within the trees behind them. “I think the hunters have finally decided to join them!” She hears the sound of something firing.
Wanda and Natasha turn to see several hunters running toward them. Most of them seem to be carrying guns while the others seem to be holding knives. Nat can count about thirty hunters.
“You guys take the hunters! I’ve got these guys!” Kira yells at them, her eyes starting to glow.
“You sure?!” Nat asks.
“Go!”
Wanda and Natasha break away from the Oni and charge toward the hunters. Nat throws the sword in her hand on the ground and pulls out her Glock 26s. As the hunters start to shoot at them, Wanda uses her powers to rip a tree out of the ground and throw it through the group of hunters—knocking several to the ground.
Nat ducks behind a tree as bullets fly past her. The bullets slowly come to halt as she reloads her guns. She can hear footsteps getting closer to her. It sounds like five different people are coming toward her. Nat puts one of her guns back in its holster as she takes a deep breath.
As the tip of a hunter’s gun comes into view, she grabs the front of the assault rifle while throwing her elbow into the hunter’s face. He lets go of the gun as she knocks him out with the butt of her Glock. Adjusting the assault rifle in her grip, she turns and shoots down the other four hunters.
“I thought we weren’t supposed to kill any of them?!” Wanda yells out to Nat.
“I don’t remember agreeing to that!” Natasha yells back.
Wanda throws another hunter back as she watches Nat take down more as well. Looking back at Kira, she notices a glowing figure around the young girl as she fights off the Oni.
Kira can feel her anger and frustration growing as she continues to fight. She can also feel her control starting to slip. The fox spirit around grows bigger and bigger the longer she fights.
As she feels a blade cut through her right thigh, her fox quickly grows before launching itself at the seven Oni. A blinding light shoots out as the Oni are killed, hindering the hunters. Kira can feel her fox getting more powerful with each Oni it takes out.
With her back facing the light, Natasha uses the distraction to shoot down the rest of the hunters. Looking over at Wanda, she can see her crouched behind a tree blocking the light with her hands. As the light disappears, she turns around to find Kira kneeling on the ground and no Oni around her.
“What happened?!” Nat yelled toward Kira.
“I killed them!” Kira yells back, pressing down on the wound on her leg as it starts to slowly heal.
“Why didn’t you do that earlier?!”
“I don’t really have control of it!”
“Did you have to kill all of them?” Wanda asks Natasha, looking at all of the dead hunters behind them.
“Did you want me to wait until they killed one of us?”
Wanda rolls her eyes at Nat’s response. She could’ve put them all to sleep but it’s too late for that now. She walks over to where Kira is now sitting on the ground.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. My leg should be good in just a minute.” Kira replies.
“I wonder if everybody else also has to deal with more than just hunters?” Nat mumbles, sitting down next to Kira.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting up high in a tree, Y/N watches as Derek, Peter, and Chris battle the hunters down below. She can hear her radio go off and Scott’s voice asking for help. It takes everything in her to not jump down and help after one hunter’s knife gets a little too close to Derek’s throat.
“Is this what you deal with here in Beacon Hills?” Tony questions, watching as more hunters seem to come out of nowhere.
“Yeah, but hunters have always been the least of our worries,” Y/N replies, her grip tightening on the tree in anger as more hunters appear. She could easily use her powers from here and take them out but then Kate would know where she is.
Tony feels at a loss for words. Watching the hunters down below, he can’t believe this is what his daughter has been with. He doesn’t know why this didn’t hit him before. He was so caught up in everything else, he hasn’t taken a step back to notice how calm she and her friends seem to be about everything.
Since the Avengers have been in Beacon Hills, they’ve dealt with hunters, Hydra, and more. He knows to an extent what Y/N dealt with when she was with Hydra, but what else has she dealt with?
Friends of hers have apparently died and he has no idea why. Was it because of hunters? Was it because of something else they’ve faced? Or was it something that has nothing to do with this little world she lives in?
Tony stares at Y/N as he thinks of something to say. He has so many things that he wants to say and so many questions he wants to ask but now is not the time.
“I can practically hear you thinking from here,” Y/N looks up and locks eyes with Tony. “I know you have a lot of questions and so do I. I don’t really know how long you’re going to be here in Beacon Hills but I’d like to start over after all of this is done.”
“We can stay as long as you want. You can come back with us too…i-if you want. I-I mean I know you’re a lot older now but we kept your rooms the same as you left them. Well, we have a cleaner that cleans them once every two weeks.”
“Rooms?”
“Yeah, one at the compound and one in our old home. We haven’t lived there since you…disappeared. I still kept it though just in case.”
“Even after you thought I was dead?”
“You’re not the only person we’ve known to be presumed dead to still very much be alive. I didn’t want to give up hope. No matter how little it became.”
Y/N doesn’t know what to say to that. She looks back down to watch the others fight off the hunters. Most of the hunters are down so now is a good time to get to Kate.
“We should go now,” Y/N looks back at Tony.
“How are we doing this?” Tony asks, not sure how to carry Y/N.
“Can I just get on your back?”
Tony flies off the tree and hovers in front of Y/N with his back turned toward her, “Let’s go.”
Y/N pulls herself away from the tree and climbs onto Tony’s back. A small smile appears on her face as it reminds her of the piggyback rides her dad, the sheriff, used to give her all the time as a kid before they lost her mom. As Tony takes off toward the safe house, she wonders if Tony or the others ever used to carry her like this when she was younger.
Y/N holds on tighter to Tony as he crashes into the middle of the house. Once Tony has landed on the ground, she hops off his back and surveys her surroundings. They landed in what appeared to be the living room but there was no one around. There’s no one shooting at them, charging at them, or even watching them. They are completely alone.
“Why is no one here?” Tony asks, his blasters ready just in case.
“I don’t know…” Looking around Y/N can see weapons and ammo everywhere. On the wall, she can see pictures of herself and all her friends. There’s even some of the Avengers. There’s a large blood stain on the floor but there is nobody. Whose blood is it?
It’s also quiet. Too quiet. If she listens in she can hear the others fighting, but it’s quiet in the house. Kate must be hiding somewhere. If there’s one thing Y/N knows about the Argents, it’s that they love a good basement moment. That’s probably where Kate is hiding out. And if she’s hiding then she knows she’s outmatched. She knows they’re losing.
As she turns to look at Tony, a body flies through the living room window. Y/N jumps back and is ready to attack until she notices who it is.
“Isaac?”
Isaac groans in pain but makes no move to get up off the floor, “Hey Y/N.”
“H-how? What?”
“Scott told me everything so we came to help.”
“We?”
As Isaac goes to answer, a girl with a crossbow steps through the broken window, “Isaac?!” She starts shooting toward something Y/N can’t see.
“Braeden?”
“Who are these people?” Tony asks Y/N.
“He’s a friend and she’s…” Y/N pauses as she thinks of a way to describe who Braeden is, “she’s a friend of Derek.”
Isaac snorts, “Yeah, a friend.”
Y/N kicks Isaac’s arm at his comment, “What’s happening out there? How’d you go through the window? Why haven’t you got up?
“I can’t really move.”
“What do you mean?” Y/N crouches down next to Isaac in concern.
“We aren’t the only ones who know a kanima apparently.”
Y/N rolls Isaac onto his side and looks at the scratch on his neck. She can see some of the venom still dripping from the wound.
“Who else has been affected by it?” Y/N asks, laying Isaac back down on his back.
“Scott was protecting a guy on the ground with a shield when I found them,” Braeden replies, walking over to them.
Tony curses under his breath, “Should we help them?”
“Kira and two other girls are currently helping Scott.”
Y/N turns her head to the broken window as she hears a loud roar. It sounded like Scott but she’s not sure.
“Is it just the kanima they’re fighting?” Y/N asks.
“No, there’s Berserkers as well. Four of them.”
Y/N stands up and looks at Tony, “Stay here and help them. I’ve got Kate.”
“You’re not going alone,” Tony states. He’s not going to abandon his daughter. He’s here to protect her.
“They need your help more than I do. If the Kanima takes more of them down, they will all be dead. Help them.”
Tony hesitates for a moment before agreeing, “Fine, but then I’m coming back to help you.”
“Fine. I’ll probably be in the basement. At least that’s where I'm assuming she is.”
Tony looks like he’s going to hug her for a moment before flying out through the broken window. Y/N can hear when he finds the others.
“So that’s your dad huh?” Isaac says with a small smirk on his face.
Y/N rolls her eyes and huffs, “Shut up.” Her radio sparks to life and she can hear Chris Argent calling for Stiles. The Anuk-Ite must be near them. Y/N turns to Braeden, “I’ve got Kate. Make sure he stays alive.”
Y/N flicks her claws out as she checks all of the doors to see if any lead into the basement. When she opens the fourth door, she sees stairs leading down into another room. She walks down slowly until she reaches the bottom.
Looking around, the stairs seemed to have led her to a hallway instead of a room. There are four different doors and she doesn’t know what’s behind any of them. There’s a long ugly rug that runs throughout the middle of the hallway. It looks out of place in the modern-looking hallway.
She’s about to open the first door when she notices the end of the rug is flipped up as if someone tripped over it. That’s when she notices something behind it. Moving the rug with her foot, she finds an escape hatch.
Y/N bends down and opens the hatch. Not seeing anything dangerous, she jumps down into what seems to be a tunnel. Looking down at the ground, she can see a single set of footprints leading away from her.
She follows the footsteps until she gets to the end of the tunnel. She notices a small ladder leading up to another hatch. Y/N climbs up the ladder and slowly opens the hatch. It takes her a second to realize where she is. She’s next to an old lake her mom used to take her and Stiles to during the summer.
Climbing out of the tunnel, she looks around for Kate. She knows she’s here but she can’t seem to see her.
“Kate! I know you’re here!” Y/N yells out.
As she moves to look around, a bear trap snaps around her right ankle. Screaming out in pain, Y/N falls to the ground.
“I was wondering when you would show up, but I’m surprised you showed up alone.” Y/N whips her head around to see Kate slowly walking up to her with twenty other hunters and two Berserkers behind her.

Do you get as annoyed as I do about how late in the series we're told Stiles's childhood nickname was Mischief? It would've been great information to have when Stiles is talking up his love of Mischief Night, for one. But also it's a very funny concept that a little kid inadvertently gave himself an apt warning label as a nickname.
actually, it doesn't. one of the better storylines in teen wolf is the stilinski family.
teen wolf's narrative is haunted by three woman. laura hale, allison argent and claudia stilinski.
it's pretty clear in the first season that despite eight years passing since claudia had died it was something that the sheriff and stiles had not dealt with it in a healthy manner. it was something they didn't talk about. the sheriff had to be drunk to be emotionally vulnerable enough say that he missed her and the he missed talking to stiles.
each season unravels that a little more as slowly the emotional rift between stiles and the sheriff that was there even before the supernatural entered their lives heals and they deal with the absence of claudia.
the climax of this is of course season 6a where the sheriff has to truly grieve his wife and let her go to be able to bring stiles back. if the sheriff had not been able to do this stiles would've remained lost as scott, lydia and malia alone could not bring stiles back.
it makes sense to me that something like stiles's childhood nickname his mother used for him would be something locked away until they were able to confront the memory of claudia.

My opinion on Scott that nobody asked for:
I think he was cursed by writers, I think he was inconsistently written because he's the protagonist, the main character. They focused on him looking cool and being the main guy of the show which, paradoxically, made him more shallow than the others. They were so focused on how Scott is the good guy that they didn't notice/forgot he fucks up from time to time and should be called out about it. And it may have been not such a great choice to give Scott cute romance plot all the time next to the more and more serious drama, because it made him look irresponsible or ignorant (but maybe that's just me hating fun XD)
Sometimes Scott is a black and white guy, but other times he wants to give people a second chance and agrees to work with his enemies. Sometimes he cares about other's feelings, but other times he doesn't think about other's perspective. I don't have a problem with Scott being lost, trying to find his way. It's ok that he tries to find the best solution without killing, it makes sense, he tries to break this cycle of violence which is a risky move. Not wanting your friends to kill people may be naive, but also, those are kids and murder isn't something you can just brush off, it changes you. He tries to stop them from loosing themselves, not to judge them. Scott, at least since 3A, wasn't a judging guy. He thought their methods should be different, that they shouldn't give on trying to find other way, for everyone's sake! I'm not saying he's perfect, because he's not, and I just don't like it when he's treated as some morally pure guy by the fandom or just the show itself. He's not. He's just less pessimistic, less experienced than most of the characters. His new perspective can be refreshing or dangerously naive, depending on situation.
Idk, I feel like he's hated so much for things that are just kid stuff. He didn't have as rough life as Stiles, Derek or Malia. He's a normal 16yo boy, who never had to think "is murder always a bad thing?". He was just a boy, who was suddenly thrown into this brutal supernatural world where people were killing each other like it's nothing! Stiles knew life was hard, knew grief. Of course he was more mature and sceptical here!
But also, Tyler is great as a goofy, silly teenager, but not so great at serious scenes imo (at least from what we saw in tw, at least not as good as Dylan or Crystal).

Sterek should have been endgame and Scott needed to be less of a dick.
I wish the writers would stop using Derek as the punching bag. Like I get he was an angry asshole at the start but can you blame him after all that he went through? He should have had a character growth arc and given the chance to be a better alpha instead of making him give it up. I get the symbolism of giving up the power but he should have gotten it back. And we should have seen more of his full shift than what we got. Like the Hales were special because of the full shift and we only see it once? Also he should have gotten his family land back, like it's been in his family for years and he's lost enough he shouldn't have let the county take his land that was fucked up. Even if he never rebuilt, he could have tore the remains down and put up a marker or a tree or something to show they were there and what happened. But to let it become new housing was just fucked up.
I would have like to see Derek and Scott be co-alphas and lead the pack together. They could have had a batman and superman friendship with one of them being broody and the other being hopeful and optimistic.
Stiles should have had magic. I know Dylan O'Brien said he didn't want Stiles to have magic and just be human but come on, he would have been badass at it.
I was never a big fan of Stiles and Lydia because it felt like he was more in love with the image he had of her than of her. Yes he got to know the real Lydia and they fell in love but I still didn't really like it. He was too obsessed with her it felt like he just wore her down or something idk. I know that Dylan said in an interview that Stiles and Lydia would have dated for a while but then realized they were better of as friends, and this was years before the movie came out.
And OMG the movie what the shit was that!?!?!? For all that Scott said he would be the alpha and defend Beacon Hill he left the town for years and still left at the end of the movie. Derek, Peter, Malia, and Jordan are really the only supernaturals left to defend the town. The Hales are the ones protecting their territory. And did they really have to kill Derek in the way they did it. Like fire really? REALLY!?!? And in front of his sixteen year old son. Derek lost his family at sixteen to a fire and now his son Eli loses his dad to a fire at sixteen? Really!?!? Like I hated it, I hated that the whole movie felt like Scott was just reliving his high school glory days. I hate that's Scott got his happy ending at the expense of Derek's life. Derek was good, he was happy with his son, had a home, a good business, was respect in the community, had a good relationship with the remainder of his family and you kill him off? And then hint at the fact that Scott would be the one to 'adopt' Eli, a kid he barely knew, just so that he and Allison could play house and be a happy little family? BULLSHIT!!!!
I read somewhere that Jeff wanted the show to end with Scott and Allison together and Stiles and Lydia together and that their kids would all be best friends. But with Crystal Reed leaving in season 3 that changed things. The movie felt like his way of getting that ending he wanted but Dylan not returning changed things again. But at least Scott got Allison back, so yay? Don't get me wrong I loved Scott and Allison together but Scott was so obsessed with her to the point that he would throw anyone but his mom under the bus for her. And it got annoying very fast even worse was the fact that he didn't really learn anything from it he has just as obsessed with Kira (though maybe not to the same level). The whole bros before hoes thing was non existent for him. I get Scott was supposed to be like a King Arthur kind of figure, you know? Special, good leader, kind, and legendary but Scott was not it. Yea he had his moments where he was really good but he had so many where he wasn't and he never seemed to learn and grow. Like even the BBC Merlin Arthur who started out as a jerk became honorable, just, and a good leader, yea he too had his moments where he regressed but it was still better than Scott.
They should have fixed his relationship with Derek maybe then him taking Eli in would have made more sense. Like Scott hated Derek a lot ,more so than necessary. Yes Derek lied to get Scott to help him take down the alpha (Peter) but Scott acted like Derek was he one who bit him. Scott forgave so many others who had done far worse (deucalion?) But Derek was where he drew the line? Why because he bit three others who chose the bite? I get him being mad about the lies, I get him being mad about Derek's attitude while on the alpha power trip but come on sometimes Scott was just a dick. He was willing to look the other way when Victoria tried to kill him and was ok with keeping quiet about why Derek bit Victoria and let Allison hate derek and attack his pack because he didn't want to cause problems with Allison. No he sucks. We could have had an epic friendship between them but no we got something half-assed and I hate it.
And why the hell did they make Derek basically a True Alpha like two seconds before he died like what the FUCK!?!?!?
I just wished the would have given Scott some character development instead of just making him more powerful.

Chapter One.
Tumblr media
Being back in Beacon Hills felt weird, almost like a nightmare as I walked through the halls of the empty high school that I used to attend. I looked around curiously, the classrooms looked the same and so did the locker rooms. I smiled to myself seeing the boy’s locker room in the distance, memories of sneaking in there after everyone had left to talk to my best friend running through my mind.
“What are you doing here so late!?” I squinted my eyes as a bright light was shone directly at my face, I pushed it away and glared at the man standing in front of me. The coach.
“Oh, it’s just you.” He lowered the flashlight and gave me a confused look, like I was the only crazy person that was at the school late at night.
“Good to see you too coach, I was just leaving.” I moved around him, clutching my book bag close to my chest. I had just started teaching history at Beacon Hills High School yesterday, and this was already the second night that I had decided to stay late. I missed the library here much more than I expected. Especially seeing my initials carved on one of the shelves alongside my friend’s.
“You are seriously giving all the nerds bad ideas, what kind of teacher stays late at the school to read?” I let out an exhausted sigh, he had asked the same question when he caught me in the library last night. I put on a smile and glanced back at him.
“The kind that doesn’t want your players to fail a class, because if they do fail then they won’t be able to play, and we don’t want that now do we?” I turned back around and continued walking, knowing I had won the argument. I knew how much the coach cared about having his best players on the field, unfortunately for him most of them took history.
I would never fail a student if they didn’t deserve it, and I’ve been known to give plenty of opportunities to complete homework and assignments, but the coach has been pressing all the wrong buttons for the last two days and I just needed him to keep his mouth shut.
I guess I’ve changed a lot since high school, I would have never spoken back to someone like that in my teen years. If you weren’t close to me then I seemed like the quiet kid, you know the one that everyone just ignored and went about their day. However, if you knew me then I was the exact opposite. I would speak my mind, about anything and everything. I would babble on about the most random topics if you were willing to lend an ear, and that often ended up being my best friend’s ear.
I guess I should stop calling him that, we haven’t seen or spoken to each other since we were eighteen. He left Beacon Hills after an accident, he dropped all communication and left. I stayed here for as long as I could, waiting for him to come back so that I could talk to him and comfort him, but he never did come back.
When the summer ended, I left my number on the door of his house in case he came back, and he wanted to talk. Then I left for home, I went back to Greece and continued on with my life, got my degree in teaching and then travelled for a year or two with my grandmother. Once she was ready to settle down, we came back to Beacon Hills. She said that this place had always felt like a second home to her.
I snapped out of my daydream as I realised, I had made it out into the outside corridor, I should really start paying more attention when I’m somewhere alone in the middle of the night.
“KIRA!” I stared ahead in disbelief; three kids were laying on the floor at the end of the corridor battered and bruised. It didn’t look like they noticed me but something that was growling at them did. On instinct I ran forward, skidding to a stop in front of them. Whatever the animal was, it would have to get through me first. Which looking back on that decision, that was probably the most stupid decision that I had ever made in my life.
The situation was extremely surreal, there I was standing between three kids and two grown men wearing animal skulls that covered their faces. They were clearly strong, that was the aura they gave off as they stared me down. I had so much adrenaline running through me that I stared back at them, with a glare of rage.
“Can you three move?” I glanced down at the ground for a second, noticing a sword laying on the ground between me and the men. If I could just pick that up, then I might stand a chance against these guys.
“No! Run!” I faintly remember one of the boys screaming at me, a boy I now know as Scott McCall. I ran forward, grabbing the sword off of the floor and leaping into the air with hope that the momentum would pierce the bone armour that the men had on.
But instead of making contact I was grabbed out of the air, it felt like the world slowed down to a halt as it happened. My eyes widened as a familiar face appeared in front of him, one that should have been much older by now.
“Derek?” He acknowledged me with a glance before throwing me to the side, I’m sure he meant to be gentler, but my body hit the ground with a harsh thud and my head hit the railings. My vision became blurry as I watched the scene before me, Derek, my ex best friend who hasn’t seemed to have aged a day since I last saw him, was fighting off these tall men with his bare hands. The only thing was that he had sharp canine-like teeth and claws to match as he did so. I left the image up to the concussion I had before I crawled forward towards the kids, I tried my best to stand up.
“Come on, you need to run…” I had trusted Derek with my life many times when we were younger, so now I trusted that he could hold off the danger long enough to get these kids to safety. Then I could question him on why he doesn’t look a day over sixteen, and if he’d give me the location to the fountain of youth he had found. As they got up the ache in my head became apparent, I stumbled to the side and started to fall again. However, this time I had a much softer landing, someone had been kind enough to catch me and when I looked up, I saw the most handsome man that I could have possibly ever imagined.
“Wow…so an angel really does come get you when you die.” I closed my eyes, and I could faintly hear the sound of someone calling my name.
The memory came flooding back to me like it was yesterday, it was the finals for our basketball team. We usually never made it that far, but we finally had an ace on our team, Derek Hale, my best friend. The only thing was that no one could find him, we were all waiting on the courts for him to start the match, but no one had seen him. That is when I noticed his uncle skulking around before disappearing in the direction of the locker rooms.
“I’ll be right back.” I gave Kate a reassuring smile before following him, I didn’t trust Peter at all, so I hardly felt bad about this. He was always too hard on Derek, there had been many times where Derek decided to sleep over at my place just to avoid the douche. He didn’t seem like the supportive type either, so I don’t understand why he was here.
“Even born wolves have to learn control on a full moon, Derek.” I heard Peter’s voice echoing from the showers, I blushed at the thought of bursting into the room while Derek was naked. Maybe there was an actual emergency, and I should just go, let his uncle help him for once if it fell in the department of him being naked during the issue or maybe I should have sent Kate because she’s told me many times, she had a crush on him. But then…
“Yeah, but it’s supposed to be easier for us, why does it hurt so much!?” Hurt? That sent alarm bells going off in my head, Derek was hurting. I rounded the corner and stared in shock as Derek was on his knees, completely drenched from head to toe. I could only see the side of his face, but his eyes were glowing bright blue and he had fangs like a wolf. Before I could stop myself, I let out a scream, then there was a pressure on my neck before I passed out.
I woke up with a jolt, my eyes snapping open as I heard voices coming from the distance. I was in a room I didn’t recognise, the ceiling was high and most of the bricks were exposed. It was cold, sending a shiver down my spine. I sat up slowly, my brain pounding against my skull as I did so.
My ears were still ringing from earlier, my heart was still pounding in my chest from the adrenaline. Then I heard my name again, it didn’t sound like it had any emotion in it at first but as I looked in the direction of the voice I could immediately tell there was a slight worried undertone to it…just like I could always tell when he tried to hide it.
“Derek…?” Just as I thought, the man from earlier was Derek. He had grown so much, he was taller, more muscular, he had a beard and damn was he gorgeous. I took several deep breaths as three pairs of eyes fell on me, which didn’t help the growing nervousness in my stomach. Was what I remembered real? Was what I saw earlier real?
“That’s my cue to leave.” The woman spoke, she got up and left without even greeting them. The other man followed her, locking the door behind her as she left.
“Are you crazy!?” He sounded shocked and angry, the emotions clearly directed at Derek.
“Not now.” He got up and walked towards me, my spine immediately straightened, and my eyes went wide as he sat down in front of me. I wasn’t scared of him, but I suddenly felt alert in the situation, there were so many questions swirling in my head that it was almost hard to keep track of.
“What do you remember?” No “Hi, how you doing?”, no “Sorry I threw you which made you hit your head and pass out”. Nothing, just straight to what I remembered? Yeah, this was definitely Derek or should I rather say the ‘new and improved’ one.
“A lot, enough to know you’ve been keeping secrets from me before you even left.”
“It was to protect you.”
“Bullshit!” I stood up, staggering slightly which sent Derek flying to his feet to catch me. His hands landed on my waist, holding me up.
“It wasn’t to protect me! It was for your own selfish shit! You didn’t tell me things, you didn’t let me in on your little world and then you just left me! No good explanation, no good-bye just gone! I stayed here for months for you! Taking care of your family after the fire, I spent my summer hoping you would come back but you didn’t! You ass!” I hit his chest hard which for once made him flinch, but he still had a glare on his face as he stared down at me like a predator warning his prey.
“You didn’t stay either so how is it fair that you can be mad at me, but you weren’t here when I came back?” I glared at him, absolutely pissed that he would switch the blame to me so quickly.
“I left you a note with my number on it and my new address, I couldn’t stay when my whole family was leaving! I was eighteen without a job, how would I live here!?” I tried to push him off, but he just tightened his grip on me.
“There was no note.”
“That might have been my fault.” Our heads whipped to the other man in the room, he had a sheepish grin on his face, but he didn’t look sorry at all as he shrugged and crossed his arms.
“I took it off, didn’t want you to have stalkers back home.” I blinked in disbelief, it was private property so no one would have went there besides Derek's family.
“Peter?”
“In the flesh.” He did a small bow, now my blood was boiling even more. Of course, it was Peter who made sure we never spoke again, he never liked me since I always made Derek talk back to him, I made Derek stand up for himself against him. Rightfully so because he is an asshole.
“But how!? You were burnt and paralysed in the fire! I looked after you and Laura in the hospital for my whole summer!”
“Long story but thanks for that, cupcake.” My grip on Derek’s arms tightened, he took that as a sign that if he didn’t get me out of here that I would try to burn Peter to a crisp myself this time.
“I’m taking you home.” I screeched as he picked me up, something I definitely wasn’t used to. I was well aware that I probably couldn’t walk by myself, the longer I’m awake the more my body aches and pains. I let out a groan, closing my eyes as I decide not to protest.
“I hate you sometimes.” I heard a little huff, something he did when he was trying not to smile. Even though I was extremely mad at him right now, his warmth was welcomed. At least that hasn’t changed, he was still my personal heater.
“Just sometimes?” I opened my eyes as one of his hands wrapped around mine, my pain starting to slowly go away. I glanced down, there were black veins on his hand and arm where we were touching, another thing I suddenly remembered seeing before. Once we were outside, he put me in the passenger seat of a car, a car I was assuming was his.
“Derek, please talk to me. Explain this to me.” He sighed, I gave him my best pleading look which made him shake his head before he knelt down next to me.
“I’m a werewolf.”
“Yeah, I guessed.” I cleared my throat, my eyes meeting his. “I saw you before, before that basketball game when we were younger.”
“Before Peter knocked you out, I remember.”
“He is a royal pain in the ass, fucking asshole. But you know I wasn’t scared of you, right? I would have accepted you even back then.” I reached out for his hand and laced our fingers together, squeezing it tightly. His eyes flickered down to our hands, he seemed to be processing the feeling like no one has held his hand since he last saw me.
“I know, you were a weirdo that would have accepted me even if I had two heads.” I laughed at that, a smile growing on my face as I looked at him.
“Yeah, but your ego was enough to deal with.” He rolled his eyes at that, but I could see the smile he was hiding, beneath all the changes that he went through I could still see the old Derek. The person he was before all the pain. He took a deep breath and pulled his hand away from mine, the playful atmosphere now depleting.
“I wanted to tell you but the last person I told died, and then Kate…”
“Argent?” He nodded, then he began to explain what happened in the last few years. How Paige actually died, that Kate was the one who set fire to his house and killed his family because she was a hunter and that’s why she wanted to date him. He told me about when he came back to Beacon Hills, all the things that happened with a group of high schoolers he met. It was a lot to take in, but I paid attention, I knew he would never lie…well tell a whole fabricated supernatural story because he was never that creative.
“I’m sorry, Derek. I’m so sorry.” I leaned forward, hugging him with my arms wrapped around his neck. I could tell he wasn’t expecting it, he froze for a moment. Usually, I never cry about things but now that I knew the truth, I couldn’t stop the tears. The amount of times Derek could have died or was close to death while I wasn’t with him crashed down on me, I sobbed and hiccupped while holding onto him. That’s when his arms wrapped around me, holding me firmly to his chest as I cried.
I don’t know how long we sat like that, just on the side of the road in his car with his arms around me. The crying had given me a headache but being close to him felt good, being like this again felt good. My heart was beating a mile a minute.
“Please come home with me, please stay like you used to. I need you…” Another thing that was out of character for me, begging for someone to stay. I don’t know if fear had overcome me from realising there was a whole dangerous world of creatures that could kill me if they weren’t good like Derek, or if I was just scared that if he left me, he would leave again.
“Okay…okay.” His voice was soft, something that only happened when I was extremely upset about something. He got up, tucking me into my seat and putting on my seatbelt. Once he was in the driver’s seat I grabbed his hand again, holding it with both of mine. This time he squeezed my hand, starting the car with his free hand and then driving off.
Later...
When we arrived at my place Derek has decided that I still couldn’t walk on my own, he picked me up from the passenger seat and walked towards my front door. The little act of kindness made me giggle, knowing full well that if I ever asked to be carried again then he would say no.
“Welcome to my humble abode, my bedroom is upstairs.” He nodded, taking a quick look around my house before ascending to the second floor. I had boxes all around, not having unpacked anything besides my bedroom and the kitchen.
“Am I allowed to dress myself or are you going to strip me too?” He grunted, not enjoying my teasing as he put me down on the bed. He walked over to my closet.
“Still sleep in shorts and a tank top?” He barely asked the question before throwing those items at me, I laughed and caught them.
“Yeah, but only when it’s hot. Then again it should be very hot since my personal heater has returned.” He chuckled at this, looking at the wall as I got changed.
“I see you still have some of my sweatpants, I’m borrowing one.” I blushed and looked away as he changed, though I did take a glance as he took off his shirt. He had definitely worked out during the time we were separated and had gotten a tattoo on his back. It was safe to say he was an absolute catch. I shook my head, not believing my thoughts about a man that was my best friend for most of my childhood.
He walked over to me, he had opted to not put a shirt on which I was definitely complaining about.
“Where am I sleeping?” I patted next to me which made him raise an eyebrow, I guess now that we’re older it was a bit weird to share a bed as just friends, but I didn’t care. I had missed sleeping in his arms.
“Don’t question it, I missed you.” He sighed and laid next to me, I didn’t hesitate to crawl into his arms. When I pulled the blanket over us, I felt safe, it was just like when were younger again. Derek was my dream catcher, keeping the nightmares and bad thoughts away. Now being with him kept more than that away, I felt like as long as I was with him the new world, I knew about wasn’t so scary after all. His warmth made me sleepy, my eyes closing as I drifted off.
Just before I fell asleep, I felt his arms tighten around me.
