Thank you for the prompt! Edited to scott/liam/mason with the prompter's blessing 10. “This is going badly, isn’t it?” "This is going badly, isn't it?" Liam says, looking between Scott and Mason. His hair is plastered to his heart, and rain drips down his chin.

It's hard not to think that he looks like a drowned puppy.

Scott figures from Mason's face that he doesn't look much better.

"What gives you that idea?" Scott asks. Technically they've made it to the motorcycle show. "It's just a little rain."

A gust of wind sends Mason stumbling into Liam just to prove Scott's point. Most of the people showing their bikes are hurrying to store them and find shelter. "We need to get to shelter," Mason shouts. Scott nods and grabs Liam's hand, Liam grabs Mason's, and they find their way to the basement of the store hosting the event, along with a crush of humans. The wind has picked up, and between that, the murmur of the crowd and the tornado sirens blaring, it takes Scott a second to scale his hearing down. He looks immediately at Liam after he's gotten himself under control.

Mason has an arm wrapped around his shoulder and is holding his hand with his other arm in their laps. Liam's eyes are glazed over, but not yellow. Scott breathes. Situates himself to sit on Liam's other side.

"You okay?" Scott asks.

Liam nods. "Yeah. Sorry."

"For what?" Mason answers.

"I just wanted to... I thought it would be fun to come here." "Hey, Scott," Mason says, "did you know Liam was psychic? Can totally tell when tornadoes are gonna happen. That's so cool." Scott can't help but smile at how earnest Mason makes it sound. Liam laughs, too.

"We'll see the bikes," Scott assures him, taking his other hand and running his thumb along Liam's wrist. "But this is kinda nice, too, right?"
