fuck, y’all will never understand how badly I miss the twins. Like I know Alex doesn’t exist in canon & Seb doesn’t have a twin & if he does, people usually make Severin his twin. Who doesn’t actually exist either in canon, but feels way more real because of all of the thousands of people who head canoned him. & don’t get me wrong I LOVE Severin. But in my head obvs he is the responsible, respectable older brother who despite how much of a mess Sebastian may be, he doesn’t give up on his little brother & I love that for him.

Severin is Sebastian’s rock when he is at rock bottom & I like to think that it is because of Severin that Sebastian gets his act together (at least partially lol) & gets into the army after he gets cleaned from the drugs & eventually ends up to live into adulthood & meet Jim.

But the whole story of Alex & Seb being the bestest of friends and inseparable as twins tend to be. Having Alex be Seb’s first ever source of love, companionship, care & encouragement during the twins formative years & equally losing him in such a traumatic & heart breaking way, still during those formative years, to not only go on to be eaten up by guilt from his own, under developed child minded perspective & blame himself, but also be blamed & hated by his father for it the rest of childhood & see first hand how his mother fell apart because of it. is particularly poetically tragic that it makes me long for the sweet, fleeing moments of innocent childhood happiness the two had for the short years Alex was alive. & sometimes I like to imagine how nice it would have been for seb if his brother had grown up with him & maybe softened the harsh environment Sebastian grew up in, practically alone & abandoned since Severin was sent off to school shortly after the accident, having him being much older than the twins in my head canon.

Hi, nice to meet you! I'm always really happy to meet other Milverton fans! 🥰

Yeah, I feel you, he barely has any content (I tend to throw parties whenever I find Milvy arts online... then I realized I can also create some to have more, so now I'm here - and I have loooot of ideas). But believe me, there are more people liking Milverton out there than you think!

How did I end up liking him? Well, I am a Sherlock Holmes fan since I'm 6, I grew up with those stories and my favourite was always The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton - it's a really interesting story from the moral point of view and Milverton is a cool villain who is able to force Sherlock to fake-engagement and break-in.

I started to watch Moriarty the Patriot when S1 aired, just to see another Sherlock Holmes adaptation. Then I got into the manga because I couldn't wait for Part 2 - YuuMori was my very first manga. Ever since the start, I was waiting for Milverton to appear - and I actually suspected him to be more of an antihero, instead of a villain, since Moriarty the Patriot turns villain characters (Moriarty or Sebastian Moran) into antiheroes. Milverton finally appeared - to be the main antagonist. I didn't mind it, I was interested to see what the author does with him, and I was quite hyped after the White Knight arc (my favourite arc), because I'm also a big Batman fan and The Dark Knight (what White Knight is heavily inspired by) is one of my favourite movies. Then Two Criminals happened and Milverton left the stage without the potential in his character getting explored. I was totally disappointed to see him go to waste, so I started wandering about him - how he turned into a villain and such. I don't think he was always evil, he has white hair while being quite young, something really traumatic must've happened to him once, maybe he turned evil thanks to that. I also like thinking that what if he was similar to Liam once - wanted to change the system with corrupt methods, but he was not as strong as Liam and in the end, he got corrupted. I always wanted Moriarty the Patriot to deal with the thought of you use evil methods for a good cause, but what if your evil methods turns you evil, too? An example of what could happen to the Moriarty group if they cross the line, a dark mirror to William. And Milverton could've been a perfect example for this.

So yeah, the unexplored possibilities in Milverton kept intriguing me, so I thought more and more about him and come up with lot of headcanons, his whole story is built up in my head now. And through this, I grew fond of his character... I know he is evil and irredeemable, I never even thought of redemption for him, he is way too far gone... but I love him anyway (for the record, it's the YuuMori Milvy I feel that way for, not the other adaptations of the character, the canon one is a great villain to me and nothing more). I have lot of headcanons, theories, analysis, arts, dolls, a cocktail, fanfiction, video edit, I really love making content for him in every form.

And there is another thing what made me a Milverton fan: his relationship with his secretary, Ruskin. I really love the evil boss, who on the other hand, care about his secretary deeply, who doesn't mind his boss' evil actions, but follow him to the very end, because he means the whole world to him trope. And there is genuine trust, respect and caring in Milverton and Ruskin's relationship - I only a platonic shipper, but Milveskin is my OTP and love them really much.

This might sound weird, but am I the only one who's a little bummed that there weren't many BBC Sherlock people writing Moriarty/Sherlock? I'm prob just biased because I love an Enemies/Lovers scenario, especially when they are both geniuses. Also BBC Moriarty is a fun little guy and I love to read stuff featuring him.

3. one thing you need to understand about me is that i am frothing at the mouth rabid 24/7/365 over the idea that Sherlock and Jim should be put in more SituationsTM, romantic or otherwise. look at this live footage of the sheriarty plotraccoons patting their little raccoon hands all over my braincells:

Sherlock and Jim had SUCH a good dynamic in the show and then Jim gives it all up to, what, just die? rude! unconscionable. the absolute betrayal. jail for canon for 5000 years!!

i want to see them getting 99s and holding hands after an afternoon of solving a crimes. (did Jim commit the crimes? probably! how else is he supposed to get Sherly to buy him an icecream i ask you)

i want Jim breaking into 221B very drunk and very 'supposed to be dead actually' to inform Sherlock that HE is Sherlock's one true nemesis and this CAM fellow has got to go, and OKAY FINE SHERLY maybe Jim will not just murder his rival for Sherlock's ... uh, rivalry. maybe he will just ruin him financially instead that's more fun anyway hmpf

i want Sherlock's No Good Very Bad Day where he solves a very nasty case but the bad guy is too rich to face the consequences of his actions and Jim rocks up in a stolen car with a suspicious muffled thumping coming from the trunk and says "get in loser, we're going to a secondary location"

(okay i confess i really just want a Jim and Sherlock Leverage-ification where they join forces to run psyops on billionaires it would be SO GOOD)

i want a Sherlock/Jim rivalry that gets so out of hand Mycroft is obliged to head up an international task force consisting of 6 intelligence agencies across 4 countries, IMF, a terrorist organization with whom they have a temporary truce, and a Sebastian Moran Who is Very Tired and Needs an Antacid on a mission that spans two years of absolute failures until Molly Hooper gets fed up and shoves the two idiots geniuses into a supply closet with a bottle of lube and a box of condoms and tells them to get their shit sorted

i just think they deserve all of the shenanigans and -- BBC Sherlock fandom, this is for you -- it's never too late to make more sheriarty content, that's all I'm sayin

James Bond

Look at him... JUST LOOK AT HIM! HE IS JUST SO ADORABLE!! The moment I saw him I fell inlove! HOW COULD YOU NOT??!! I literally can not put it into words but I love Bond so much and I could just sit here and talk about him for hours but I am going to stop myself before I get too carried away..

2. Sherlock Holmes

Do I even have to explain? Sherlock had the most funniest personality ever. I love his character so much! His motives and goals always get my head spinning! He gives off energetic puppy vibes and it's adorable! I love his relationship with John and Miss Hudson! Along with big bro Mycroft! And how could I forget Liam. They are canon, tell me otherwise.

3. Sebastian Moran

Honestly I don't know how I grew a random liking to this guys. He i super cool though. Honestly at first I just thought he was going to be another Yuno but turns out not really. He is very loyal and it is a crime to hate him <3

4. Albert James Moriarty

Him really? Yes, now hear me out. Okay, he is kinda dry but hey, In my opinion he is the best Moriarty with Louis in Second, William third (I love you william but yeah). You can never tell what Albert is thinking and I love it so much. I feel like he is so done with life though-

5. Mycroft Holmes

Best big brother. I know I have said this for everyone but I love him so much. His 'brotherly' relationship with Sherlock is amazing and the fact that he calls him 'sherly' makes me laugh every time it's such a cute nickname. Adorable.

There are other characters like Louis, Billy and so on and on. But then again, I love all characters except OG William and those other bastard nobles that ended up getting killed my William.

The stool shrieked as the four legs rubbed the old wooden floor backwards. A woman perched on that pulled seat, and let herself lost in her own thoughts of which liquor should she drink. The pub was relatively crowded since it was late afternoon. And in a few hours, there would be a reception party at the nearby hotel—in which Emmanuelle Rousseau was assigned there to assist one of the ambassadors in an agreement between two longtime rivals; hence, she still had time to sneak out awhile. 

“Do you have brandy?” That was very out of the blue from her who regularly savoured white wine in a pub whenever she was on her own. Perhaps she was tense these past days due to heightened workload, so she needed a quick and easy escape through today’s choice. 

“Sure, in seconds.”

Emma smiled as the bartender served her order in a snifter, “thanks.” Then her hands cupped the glass, letting the warmth from her body seeped into the liquor. Coming back to London after three years made her mind suddenly reminiscing past memories in the country, be it on or off duty. First sip to quench her stress, she pictured herself lying down on a mattress of grass then thanking God for a clear sky full of glittering stars. Second sip to numb her senses, all those files pressed her head yet her eyes had to read them. And the third to—

“Whiskey. On the rocks, please.” That lifeless voice harmonised with a loud screech from the pulled stool beside her. And the next sequence was a pure idiocy: Emma unconsciously shifted her gaze from her brandy to the newcomer, and that person also did the same as if he knew the previous sound surprised his neighbour. Time froze for them; and their minds were full of cuss and blame, even noisier than the pub itself. 

Sebastian Moran and Emmanuelle Rousseau were staring at each other awkwardly and they loathed themselves for it. They never expected their forgotten memories simply arose from the dusty tombs—and it was all because of their foolishness! Shit, they shouldn’t be too responsive to a slight noise. And then the ordered liquors somehow became bland, maybe sour when touching the respective tongues. But they had to clean their rowdy minds first so they still swallowed that to refrain themselves from breaking down. Oh, how funny! They were professionals who had been hiding their true identities from each other, and on top of that their relationship was strictly sexual; but why did they behave as if they were ex-lovers? Did they finally admit that they had crossed the line by chance?

At least, there was a big relief between those curses—they were still alive, although their appearances were like two different worlds. Emma, in his eyes, looked refined as she was supposed to be: well-dressed with a thin layer of makeup and dark rouge on her lips to enhance her beauty. However, for her, Moran seemed like he lost his will to live, probably a few steps closer as a living corpse. His cheekbones indicated a slight loss in his weight, his lower jaw was full of stubble, yet the unfinished revenge she used to see in his eyes came back along with the usual melancholy he bore on his shoulders. 

Moran finally sat on the stool, thus making him lost in the staring contest. Emma tightened her grip on the glass before she gulped the remaining brandy in a flash—and none of them realised that they drank their own booze in unison. Silence. A thorny silence. Their lips puckered, reluctant to greet each other, or perhaps they were settling their minds first.

“How are you?”

“How’s life?”

Again, they looked at one another. And they tittered afterwards; at last the tension between them had cooled down a little. 

“I’m good,” Emma replied. 

“So, your little sister has fully recovered, then?”

“Ah—” Emma was slightly taken aback by his question, but she managed to keep her composure and nodded in reply. Moran knew she lied about the answer, even the whole excuse from three years ago was also a lie. Her face said it all! But he couldn’t be angry at her. No, he wouldn’t do that to her, never; and it was all in the past. Moreover, just to see her once again was enough—and she was like a glimmer in the gloom for him. 

“I’m happy to hear that.” 

Emma merely smiled then looked down on the table. Everything she wanted to utter was swallowed to her throat; she truly had no courage to ask him back, seeing him miserable somehow made her heart burnt for the second time. Her forefinger danced on that solid wood, enough to distract her for a while. 

Then, Moran exhaled deeply soon after he finished his shot. And much to her surprise, he leaned his head on her shoulder. Emma remained silent but she felt the weight of his crumbled world pressing her skin, so close to tear it apart. If he wanted to cry, let him be—she kept that thought in her mind; she didn’t care if one side of her red overcoat became darker as maybe she was the only solace he had. 

“Stay. I have nowhere to go.”

“Don’t you have a home, sir?”

“I’ve lost him.”

Sometimes silence was the best response Emma could do, but she stretched her arm to tenderly caress his head as she leaned her head closer, giving him reassurance as best as she could.

“You’ll find your home soon.”

“No—” Moran whimpered. His arms confined her waist as he snuggled closer to her neck. Then a loud snivel deafened Emma slightly, yet her fingers kept brushing his tousled black hair as if his cry never bothered her. “Don’t worry, you’re home even if it’s for a while,” she mouthed those words cowardly, she simply didn’t want him to know because she thought her gesture was enough to comfort him. Five, ten, fifteen, she occasionally looked at the longcase clock near the bar counter; she still had time. 

No, twenty. Time’s up! Emma reluctantly tapped his shoulder and whispered, “I’m sorry.” Moran arose from her shoulder and sat straight on his stool. She smiled wistfully as she took out her hanky to wipe his face gently. At this point, she wished she could stay longer with him, even just for a chat, but she still had a duty to perform. And deep down, his heart shattered as she returned the hanky back to her pocket. He finally realised that he yearned for her, yet ironically all he could say was an impossible plea to be fulfilled. 

“Why can’t you stay longer?”

“I’m sorry,” Emma apologised again, “I have something important to do, Mr. Moran.”

Moran only sniggered. Ah, now he understood everything about her; no wonder she had been a great liar since day one, no wonder she refused to exchange some words, no wonder she completely distanced herself from him afterwards, it was a perfect disguise executed by a brilliant actress. All of their memories flashed through his eyes. He was a fool, a fool that took him three years to perceive her true colours. And the stubbornness in him still wanted her closer—no, not as a potential enemy, but as a friend to share stories. 

“Right, go—”

“I have to go,” Emma took out some money and placed it on the table, “ah, bills on me! Say it’s a treat for a regular though it’s too late.” She ended her sentence with a beam on her face; and that smile might be something Moran would hate for the rest of his life. As she got up from her seat, he grabbed her wrist.

“Can we—can I write a letter to you, Greta?” Moran knew her name wasn’t Greta but that was all he got from her. 

“You’re such a strong-willed person, sir. But still, the absolute answer is no.” Of course, Emma would decline it again; at least, their relationship finally received a closure—it was all over before it could begin. 

Moran slowly loosened his grip, “well, I guess… good luck, dear.” He then looked at her with a forced smile. He had to let go of her again, and for the last time. “Thanks,” Emma bowed at him before she walked away from the pub. And he could only watch her slowly disappearing into the early twilight.

What are rare-pairs that you’re passionate about?

obviously the first answer that comes to mind is luck and melvi from baccano!! meechi and i spent a long time developing the relationship between them, so it'd be weirder if i didn't have an attachment to that ship despite the frankly appalling lack of actual canon interaction (although they do share a scene, which is more than can be said for a lot of my favorite rarepairs).

i'm also passionate about almost every ship i've had with twain---and since he's pretty niche as it is, those are abysmally rare by default. i'll rattle them out quickly because there's a lot: fitzgerald, louisa, lovecraft, and poe from bsd, william moriarty and sebastian moran from moriarty the patriot, york from red vs blue, luck gandor from baccano, and most recently i've been absolutely head over heels for the ship me and meechi are writing between him and dominique de sade from the case study of vanitas.

also, i have a secret fondness for some old ships i wrote with writing partners who have since left tumblr that i haven't gotten over. cahir/dandelion, cahir/iorveth, cahir/regis, and dandelion/regis from the witcher, kumo baren (rengoku ni warau)/zhongli (genshin), roland fortis/vanitas from the case study of vanitas, snow lily (servamp)/hyoubu kyousuke (the unlimited hyoubu kyousuke)... anyway. there's a lot like that.

bit of a shit head-canon but in my head seb is a dad, a really good dad despite his own shit upbringing. mostly modern Seb bc he can be more open when it comes to affection & supporting his kids etc. & I mostly picture Seb being an amazing girl dad in modern hence my oc Astrid comes in & is the reason I started having this whole head-canon in the first place right? But even though I first imagined them having a really shitty relationship bc the first time I wrote her I pictured her showing up at Seb’s door step at age 14/15 angry, a troubled kid who mirrored teen seb a lot bc essentially that is when I pictured he accidentally conceived her & bc he was a kid himself he ran & didn’t look back bc he was terrified he would be an awful father. & honestly given what he went through who could blame him? (Or ether he just never knew she even existed until then lmao, couldn’t decide which I preferred bc the latter was hilarious to me at the time)

anyway in that AU he’s confronted with a lot of the shit he had to face a lone through this kid he has to form a relationship with & he heals through that a bit. But that was really the first time Astrid Moran ever came to exist.

In most of the dad Seb AUs I’ve done he’s raised her as an adult since birth but in any AU, he’s just the complete opposite of his own father bc I like to think that even though he probably does have a lot of issues still, he can be impulsive & have a bit of a temper, he can do his best to not scar his kids the way he was scared & just tries to blow off steam when he’s out murdering for his boss instead of blowing at a toddler for pouring syrup on his shoe or something (which he would never do regardless bc Seb’s always been soft in my head, like really, truly soft. Deep down. Like he’s never lost that little five year old persona who kept a piece of the mischievousness, curiosity, play & love that kid naturally had before losing Alex at age 6.) but that view is mostly for modern Seb.

for Victorian Seb is a bit trickier for me personally anyway bc I love soft seb so much but I base off Vic seb mostly off The Hound of the D’urbersvilles the most in terms of personality & that mother fucker was FUNNY. But the bitch had major Anger, addiction & a whole slue of issues I can’t possibly try to replicate, specially towards a child bc I would only turn him into Augustus in a way & I don’t want that for Seb. So I do make him a little soft, but to make thighs more tense for him & easier for me to write that rougher Sebastian I decided his child, my OC Dorian Moran is a biracial child seb gets stuck with after he does what he does abroad, but before he can run away like he always does Dorian’s mom dies during child birth & Seb, well he has to take DAMN RESPONSIBILITY for once. Victorian Seb is harder for me in this regard bc his personality is definitely vile & abusive but even then he stands for his child a bit more than his own dad ever did for him, at least he learns to with time, even though at the beginning he is absolutely awful to him. Bc let’s face it, seb is not a patient or kid man. So dealing with a toddler is very hard for him. But despite how much he dislikes his kid & how mean he can be towards him. I like to think that seb does care for him & despite everything, he invests in Dorian’s care having a nanny for him & eventually possibly having Moriarty help him tutor the boy ( since ya know he essentially lives with the man, & yeah a brothel is not the best place to raise a kid, but he’s trying, right?) & I like to also think that at least once in his life Sebastian stands up to someone discriminating against Dorian, perhaps bc of his race or his ilegitimen status, & maybe when Dorian is older & Seb has become more fond of him bc he learns to see him as his son & recognizes quirks maybe he had in his youth & generally learns to love Dorian as the son & human being he is. At some point Seb has to come around & at least show Dorian once that he got his back. Like damn.

anyway this think pice went wildly longer than I planned bc I originally just wanted to state abt how Astrid was mostly a Modern OC while Dorian was Victorina but I went too into thought about Dorian bc I love him & I feel bad I haven’t spent more time developing his character & relationship with Seb (ooooh!! Specially bc I think it would be nice & a total slap on the face to Seb if Moriarty offered to educate the boy. Not only in maths & science & all of the academia, but as an heir of sorts, teaching him the other side of the business eventually, bc think about it, who the fuck is going to suspect a biracial lad in Victorian England runs a world wide criminal empire after the very napoleon of Crime himself , master of disguise & perception Professor James bleeding Moriarty) not only inherit him but taught him since childhood. Plus since Seb would teach him to shoot & handle guns (as a matter of manly honor obvs & not an excuse to bond with his son) Dorian would be the whole package in terms of running Moriarty's criminal enterprise, becoming an incredibly powerful assassin.

for a time after Alex’s death. sebastian still attended the primary school he had started Kindergarten with Alex the previous year and the teachers and some of his classmates from their kindergarten class knew about what had happened and where nothing but loving and understanding to Sebastian. Specially when he began to come into school unkempt, the teachers & nurse would help him wash up in the clinic before class and the lunch lady saved him a tray of lunch noticing he began to come in without & snuck around at the end of lunch nibbling on left overs left behind by some of his peers. sometimes friends of his & Alex shared lunch with him & he was mostly left alone when he would sit in the playground and talk to “Alex” he would mostly do it as he stood by the swings pushing an empty swing & smiling as if he was having the most pleasant conversation ever. The first year without Alex was heartbreaking not only to him & his family, but to those who had met the twins the year before & could see how much Sebastian was suffering. the reason he was taken out of school half way through the year was because he started to miss more and more days & the days he did show, he would look worst and worst. Once showing up with a noticiable black eye which prompted child services to be called and given Augustus connections. The boy was moved to a new school where he had no support & the bullying only started and increased as his situation at home only grew worst as time passed, leaving Sebastian to defend himself in the only way a small boy knew how to when no one seemed to care. And that was to start acting out worst and worst.
