CoB s2 is a much more ambitious plot (both in terms of characters and events but also in terms of the wider themes) So to explain i'm going to post some memes I've made that pertains to the three plotlines and will give a 2-3 sentence explanation, so here goes:
Adam:
After the events of Eden, Adam is in the midst of his search for a way to get Ichrinth back. He comes across the captain of a ship (Edward Llewelyn) who owes him a favour. From there Adam meets old friends and new enemies, slowly realising that his search comes at a cost.
Lanralis:
After being recruited by Exalted-By-Fire (Avalon Willowbloom) to help investigate the Anthronesians, Lanralis (Kayla Valderas) begins to question her position in the system she upholds. But after a tragedy befalls her, she begins to lose herself in that very same system...
Setmesagoras:
Having killed the delegate of a powerful warlord, Setmes (Méabh de Brún) searches for a way to gain power in order to protect her and her organisation. She soon comes across a masked woman (chickie nuggies) who appears to offer the power she seeks, but at a dire price...
Now there's a lot more other stuff going on and I barely touched the political stuff that's sprinkled in there, but if any of this intrigues you, please consider donating to our seed and spark to help bring this story to life!
"Sisters of Seneca" is a new film concept from mastermind Greg Kaston. The campaign has begun and goes until October 13th.
...
Director and writer Greg Kaston plans on making a film called Sisters of Seneca. It does have a connection to Seneca Village, which is now known as Central Park. Between 1825 and 1857, Seneca Village was predominately African-Americans, most of them owning property. It was inhabited by black Americans, Irish, and German Immigrants. By 1855, the community has about 225 and had 52 homes and three churches. They were all forced out 32 years later. Kaston wanted to make this story because he has never seen any film that tells the story of any part of what happened in Seneca Village. And he wants to make a horror movie with a supernatural twist.
Sisters of Seneca tells a story of sibling rivalry, love, heartbreak, and revenge. Set in a Speakeasy in present day New York City, two women, Abigail (Nasia Thomas) and Ayasha (NaTonia Monet) are visited by a pair of detectives who are looking for a missing person. The detectives are met with modern day survivors of a historical atrocity and a supernatural force that puts their own lives in danger.
Kaston wants to make a horror film with two black leading ladies. “The closest we've see in recent times is Lovecraft Country, which also helped inspire this project. We have a super resourceful and talented cast and crew. I look forward to bringing our story to life,” Kaston says.
To join the crew on this journey to create a high-quality film and paying professionals what they are due, you can contribute below. If they reach their goal of $20,000, they will have the funds for pre-production, labor costs, location fees, equipment rental, catering for the cast and crew, post-production work and even festival submissions.
HONESTLY I can't believe we're finally doing it and HONESTLY I'm so excited to share this with you because HONESTLY this film HONESTLY is a short film project direct from my heart to you and the other outcast misfit weirdos who feel like they don't belong!
This is just the beginning! Over the next 30 days I'm going to tell you all about the project the INCREDIBLE people in it and how you can get involved. Because we want you involved.
No matter if you donate, spread the word, or simply follow the @seedandspark page I WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF THIS PROJECT.
My usual mindset is: if you want to come/watch/share that's cool, if not, next time. This is one project where I'm like: DO NOT LET THIS GO BY! This short film is funny, absurd, and outrageous and once we finish it (with your help) we're going to put it into the world and party like it's 1999, which fits the film's Y2K theme!

There is a need for coming of age films centered on Black queer 20- to 30-year-olds who experience emotional growth outside of institutional education. "Fingers In the Wind" achieves this by navigating a map of friendship, desire and memory through characters not often accurately depicted on-screen.
“Fingers in the Wind” is a coming of age story that follows two strangers over the course of two quietly eventful days, which begin with the severance of a friendship and the end of a summer-long love affair originating from the same emotional source. When Faye, a twenty-five-year-old Black woman, mistakes a nameless Young Man of the same age for a complicated figure from her childhood, the pair finds themselves catapulted into what at first seems like a run-of-the-mill romantic affair, but which soon morphs into something far beyond their comprehension. What follows is a mysterious exploration of two minds becoming one, a tender study of friendship, memory, desire and identity.
Hello! I know it’s been like three years since I last posted on here, so I’m not sure if anyone still follows me BUT:
I’m Laine, I’m a gay and nonbinary artist from the South, currently living in New York. Since I last was on here, I’ve been studying Film & TV Production at NYU Tisch - and I’m now in my final year!! I’m in the process of making my thesis film, Snapdragon, and I need you help.
Snapdragon is a deeply personal story that is based on my own experience as an LGBTQ person in a youth mental health crisis ward. I have an amazing crew working with me, 75% of whom are women and nonbinary artists.
Though the school has given me a small grant as well as an equipment package, I still have to cover the cost of everything else the production needs. Which is a lot. So I’m crowdfunding in the hopes of being able to make this project a reality.
Click the link to learn more about the project and find out ways to contribute. We have some cool rewards if you are able to give a monetary donation - if you aren’t able to do that, just hitting “follow” on the project page is a free way to help us out. And as always, sharing and reblogging this helps immensely.
Tonight at 6pm: @mrsandmanmovie #monsterdrive #seedandspark #horrorfamily and lovers of #darkfantasy #indiefilm join us! 🎬👻 (at Vancouver, British Columbia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CF2M1PxBwU8/?igshid=1j1q5ir9w6wyw
It was September that I first met the writer-direct Halo Rossetti and began to help them on their thesis film PONY. It has truly been an amazing experience and has helped me grow as a producer. I also have such a stronger understanding of what representation in media can be a means of change. Creating a more inclusive space has always been by drive for film.
It was not until I saw positive representation of bisexual characters in Legend of Korra that I learned to accept my own bisexuality. Helping create this film and helping out my transgender siblings means the world. Thank you, Halo, for having me as your Producer! And please if you've read this far follow our Seed&Spark fundraiser linked in my bio and share the project to your feed.
