I wanted to let you know, that in a roundabout way, you keep me off drugs. I keep a balcony garden, but the conditions are not ideal, so my plants weren't thriving. But then you mentioned using diluted pee to fertilize them. So I started doing that and they bloomed so much that I got compliments from everyone and I keep it up to this day.

So now, whenever I'm at a party or bored at home, instead of smoking weed or taking pills, I think no, that will come out in my pee and hurt my plants, so I find some other way to occupy my time.

So you should honestly start a $2 patreon, because your advice is out here making lives better.

I am sobbing I was so embarrassed to admit that I use pee mixed with water for fertilization and it ACTUALLY HELPED YOU GET OFF DRUGS. I am so proud of you, you have no idea. You did that, you found a way to prioritize plants and it worked for you too! It really works, there's so much nitrogen in our pee and plants love it. Trees and plants in general love us so much bebause we're walking nitrogen dispensers, we make sustance for them just by living.

I remember seeing some people talk about what were the last two afghan jews back when there were still two in the country and how almost... silly and comical it was that they still couldn't get along with each other but like... Imagine being the only two people of a minority group in your entire country because everyone else ran away, were intimidated into fleeing, or were killed. Maybe I'm a killjoy, but I really never found it funny to think of them having petty disputes because, like, obviously people in high-stress situations are going to be more prone to argument and disliking each other. Obviously when your sacred texts are stolen, when your community is snatched away, when you aren't sure if you'll be taken prisoner for the last time and never return... Obviously you're not going to be primed to interact with others pleasantly.

I have issues with plenty of people. The internet is full of obnoxious individuals, and for the purposes of my main accounts online I quickly block them (it's what those tools are for, after all). That doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching from a distance, however.

Sai is just one on a long list of internet people that wreak havoc wherever they go. Most just don't seem to notice that because she often targets (or tries to target) people that the internet masses are likely to frown upon. Lily Orchard is ideal for this. A vast majority of the internet dislikes her or doesn't care about her. To me, though, it's about the same as watching any United States election since 2016. It's not about getting something good anymore, it's about taking the side of the guy who sucks a little less.

To put it simply, Sai and Lily are two sides of the same coin.

Lily just so happens to have done much worse things by comparison and Sai just so happens to have opinions on media most agree with and internet history that hasn't been picked clean. At the end of the day though, their personalities and way of interacting with the web at large are incredibly similar.

Both of them, despite repeatedly claiming the opposite, are hopelessly obsessed with each other. Both of them use what little amount of minority status they have as a shield against critics. Both of them love to argue, to the point where it seems it's the only form of communication they can navigate. Both are quick to cry cowardice when someone decides an argument isn't worth having and walks away. Both of them must get in the last word, always. Both of them feel that they are in the right all the time, and that anyone else is either stupid, immature, or both. Both of them often label others as sensitive until it's their own feelings that are on the chopping block.

The best thing that Lily could do, if she really wanted to hurt her critics and make them leave her be, is to simply disappear from the internet entirely and let the people leeching off of her starve. The communities based entirely on making fun of her would dissolve overnight. Lily would never do that of course, because she has the same problem as Sai (one also pinpointed by CrimsonEnder): she simply can't let things go.

Neither of them will ever have the ability to walk away from something unless they have the final say, no matter how small it is. I've seen them both revive petty squabbles that have already long since simmered down for the sake of just wanting to argue.

It's not exactly difficult to put together why Sai has so many "haters" when almost every public interaction she has is a argument. It's not always about some form of homophobia or sexism or difference of opinion. Pardon my French, but sometimes your personality just fucking sucks.

to the systems or headmates with rejection sensitive dysphoria (rsd):

living with rsd can be incredibly painful, overwhelming, and isolating. rejection hurts for many, but for us folks with rsd, negative emotions following even a small rejection can quickly snowball or spiral out of control. if you, your collective, or a member of your system deals with rsd, we want to reassure you, support you, and remind you that you are not wrong for having these experiences.

it’s okay to feel hurt after rejection. it’s okay if you split new alters after rejection, or consciously formed headmates to help you cope with rejection. you’re not wrong for having feelings. learning to effectively process and regulate your emotions takes time, and it can be especially difficult for those with rsd. please allow yourself some kindness and understanding whenever you are dealing with the painful aftermath of rejection.

whether your rsd is rooted in adhd, autism, anxiety, has multiple causes, or no discernible root at all, remember that it’s okay to feel your feelings. trying to push away or bottle up your negative emotions will likely cause more harm than good in the long run. your thoughts and feelings matter, and you deserve happiness, even if in the moment after rejection you may react in overwhelming or negative ways. you still matter. you are still worthy of love and respect. your rsd does not negate this fact in any way, shape, or form.

people are allowed to reject you. sometimes plans need to be cancelled, people change their minds, set boundaries, turn you down, say no, or refuse a proposal. it may be incredibly painful when these things happen, but please know that neither you nor others are at fault when you are rejected. quite often, rejection is a morally neutral thing. still, as much as rejection can and will happen in your life, you absolutely can leave space for your grief, your pain, your anxiety, and other negative feelings. and hopefully, with time, patience, and practice, you can learn how to more effectively cope with the dysphoria that comes from rejection.

systems and headmates with rsd, please know that we understand the difficulty and heartache that rejection often brings you. our heart goes out to you, and we are wishing you a future of joy, healing, and self-acceptance. it’s okay if you’re struggling to learn how to better regulate your emotions. it’s okay if you haven’t made any progress in handling rejection in better, healthier ways. you’re allowed to exist as you are, and you still deserve to find happiness in your life just the way it is. we genuinely hope that there will be happiness in your future. we care about you, and we’re wishing you all the very best.
