tubbo alt stream: "talking about the realm" summary !

he likes the realm, the server wouldn't be up if he dislikes it.

updates ALWAYS have a reason as to why they are added. whether that is public knowledge or private feedback from players bts.

yesterday, he tried to ask the players for a peace treaty. playing into it like his character wanted that. which actually is because rn, the pvp is bugged. u can one-shot someone with a bludgeoning bug. which is why bad almost died, sausage died, and owen died. owen and sausage will both be given a life back!

instead of making this an admin change, he tried to make it a part of the story. tubbo isn't trying to drive a narrative / force lore.

why most players stop playing is because they were killed by high-level players. dying is demotivating, and it isn't the content most people want to make.

so the new update is that they will be adding (when ready) is a pvp toggle. so that everyone can do lore and be active without being scared of being killed.

swapping will have a 24-hour cool-down. so that you can't switch when in combat.

red faction will not have the toggle, always being able to attack others and be attacked by others (even put out of pvp) but will have reduced damage they deal (?). traps still work as usual.

tubbo can't accommodate everyone, going off feedback that is just from one players experience when there are so many more players on the server doesn't work.

death will still be able to be plot points, and it can be planned bts with the creators.

there will not be more people added soon, no need to ask. there will soon be more events. faction tasks will also be back soon.

an ending of the realm will come eventually, with most probably an season 2. the new season (that isn't set in stone yet) will most probably have more specifics and more choices that lock other stuff. for example, you'll have to pick heavy or light armour. there will not be over-arching storylines between the seasons.

Turf War Event

//Okay. I've been cooking the idea of making a big event inspired of the Unholy crusade thing and I think now it's a good time to start.(Now after the extermination)

The idea is a gamelike/rpg event where overlords fight for control over the new turfs that opened during the extermination.

I will explain the rules and how things work after I have enough people wanting to play. But I'll try to make it balanced and fun for everyone.

Basic info:

Anyone can join, if your character is from heaven just let me know and we can plot what you're doing.

If you're not an overlord, you may join any fighting for turf. Or do your thing!

The game will run in time passes, along with free rp during tumblr.

I'll broadcast the events here.

Things done during the time phases will define what happens during the story.

All characters that are smaller than overlords are free to do what they please, we will address how the game aspect of it will work

March Multi-Fandom Gift Exchange

There are only a few hours left to sign up for our first gift exchange! With many more to come, we hope to see you get involved now and begin the journey of writing for others and your fandom. Not to sound like a broken record if you've seen our original post, but here's a replay of important information:

This will be Fandom of Our Own's first-ever multi-fandom gift exchange, which we're so excited to bring to you! Fandom of Our Own is a Discord server that only recently started. It is dedicated to every fandom out there and creates a safe space for people to participate in challenges and events. Everyone is welcome to join our events, even if you aren't a part of our server, but we do ask/invite you to join it so you can explore the space and stay in the loop for more events! Here's a link, but if that doesn't work, feel free to reach out so we can get that sorted. 

This is a gift exchange for every and all fandoms that will run for the month of March. Usually, we would have sign-ups start the week before the 1st of every month, but since the Fandom of Our Own server was created on the 2nd of March, it'll run a little differently this month.

Due to this being a multi-fandom gift exchange, any fandom is welcome to be requested or offered in it, meaning you can put in as many requests as you want in the hopes that you will be gifted a fic from one of your favoured fandoms. However, when you get an assignment, you only have to write about one fandom, unless in some cases both a request and an offer for a crossover has been made.

Each story written for this gift exchange must have a minimum of 500 words, but there is no maximum, so you can write for as long as you wish.

I miss late night conversations while barely awake and memorizing timezones and inside jokes and well okay maybe I do miss specific people.
