Funny thing about Shane is before I said anything to him in my first playthrough I thought the sprite looked hot

My brain is broken just enough to look at this 8-bit looking motherfucker and say

"Damn bro, lemme hit dat"

I see this goofball walking around outside and I go " holy shiiiiitt!"

Then I had my angry at Shane arc because he was mean to me and then I see that first cutscene and I said

" oh my God, he's just like me! I am miserably depressed yet I didn't notice that we were BOTH dying inside."

Ever since then I have been obsessed man, he's the best representation of depression I've ever seen in any of the media I have consumed.

Sometimes I wish I could see that first cutscene for the first time again. I've never felt so represented by a fictional character as I did in that moment

THE SHANE DEFENDING MASTER LIST!!!!

This is a 29-page thesis about the community’s opinions towards the sad chicken man, Shane. I also dive into counterclaims and moral analysis on certain topics. They also include in-game dialogue from Shane and other NPCs in the game to support my points.

By the way, these are not just claims thought of by me, but it was mainly mentioned by the Stardew community. I went through several posts, such as Tumblr and Reddit, reading through opinionated comments about Shane, and that’s where I based my thesis on (it’s also why I decided to call it a thesis since I call it my research I suppose, even though it’s not for academic purposes lol).

One last thing I wanna say is that I hope I don’t offend anyone with my master list in any way!!! This is just for recreational and entertainment purposes, and it’s not meant to threaten or hate anyone here at all!! I cannot change your mind about certain topics, and that’s perfectly fine. The least I can do is not offend anyone with what I say, and if I do, please please please let me know 🥲

í love Sebastian and Shane the most one reason is usually they have resting bitch face , it takes a lot to make them smile But when they do smile they look like the happiest they've ever been, and its contagious, it makes my cold dead heart warm up and i smile back

I fell into the SDV brainrot the past few weeks by my friend and...

I romanced Shane, a surprise to no one ever. What can I say? I like my men depressed and pathetic. I was swooned after Shane yelled at me to leave him alone ♥️

Actually, when I started interacting with him, my first gift to him was on his birthday. The funniest part was I didn't know that specific day was his bday. So when Shane mentioned it I was like 😨

I'm not complaining tho because that boosted my friendship with him.

I like Shane's winter outfit, but I kind of wish it wasn't Joja related. That's the same issue I have with his default outfit. The hole in his regular jacket really bothers me too. It makes sense for his character, though given his mental health issues.

His fit in Emily's 8 heart event knocks the rest of his clothes out of the park. I wish he wore it more 😢
