The Ring Theory

Kang’s multiversal engine core, which Janet blew up and then Scott blew up again after fixing it, was made of many circles rotating around a sphere.

Kang’s entire citadel was made of circular mechanisms. At one point Kang even yells, “don’t let him [Scott] interfere with the rings.” Rings that glowed both yellowish and bluish hues.

You know who else has rings that glow blue and yellow? Shang-Chi. They started glowing yellow when he took them from Wenwu (they also glowed that color when his mother used them). I think this symbolizes a different universe. Shang-Chi and his mother are from a place other than Earth.

Kamala Khan’s bangle also is a circle. And it does something with time, since it created a time loop tp save her grandmother. She can use it to pull energy from other dimensions but that doesn’t seem to be its intended function. It is something unique to her.

I think, because time is no longer a straight line, when Scott shoved Kang into the multiversal engine with Pym particles, it made the rings oddly sized. Like person’s wrist sized. Wenwu discovered the rings and used them as weapons he can control with his mind (Kang controls his ship with his mind). But when someone from another reality used them, it set off a beacon, probably to this Kang.

What the beacon probably doesn’t say is that there is yet another ring, Kamala’s bangle, that is necessary for the multiversal engine core to work. And the bangle seems to be transporting people—Kamala, Monica and Carol—places without Kamala meaning it to. Who is controlling them?

Where the Conqueror Kang is right now is a question. If the rings survived then surely he did too.

ETA: And, of course, we know Destin Daniel Cretton who directed Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is announced as the director of Avengers: Kang Dynasty so it's not a leap to assume Shang Chi is a crucial piece of it.

Although I am unclear if the Kang Dynasty movie is about the Council of Kangs attacking or Kang the Conqueror attacking. I feel like both are coming. "Kang Dynasty" sounds like the council. But what if the Conqueror arrives at the end at beats them? Like the Avengers have already done a lot of his work for him but beating other Kangs?

It's be neat if that Avengers movie were in SF, with the Ant-Fam and Shang Chi. The bus fight in Shang Chi was cool because you felt the stakes of it. I haven't felt like the Avengers have been rooted in a real place since the first Avengers. (Although I guess there was that field in Wakanda lol). But Marvel is supposed to be in real places unlike DC.

Just saw Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, 10/10 would recommend. One of my favorite things was the fact that they didn’t suddenly turn Katy in the love interest halfway through the movie. She was his best friend and stayed that way, no sudden awkward love confession. Also, the end with Xialing taking over and turning the Ten Rings into a female fighting force? Pure genius.

I feel like everyone saw Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings ages ago and i just watched it for the first time. So i’m a bit late to the party.

Anyways i don’t have any complaints about it really, i just really liked it. the plot was interesting, the characters were cool, and the action scenes were absolutely amazing i loved watching them oh my god. So yeah, just all around a really good movie.

So yeah, that’s my mini review of Shang-Chi one year late. Have a nice day!

Throne of Lies [Chapter 6]

➢ synopsis: You met Xu Xialing 4 years ago on the streets of Macau, and you didn’t know it at the time, but the two of you were going to build an empire together. Though, unbeknownst to her, you were already building your own empire of lies. Picks up in the middle of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

You were careful. Just like when you and Shang-Chi were sneaking around earlier, you were quiet with your steps and carefully looked around corners. You were slower than when you had Shang-Chi guiding your every step, and the maze of a building didn’t do anything to make you feel any more confident in where you were going. It felt like you were going in circles as around every corner was the same painting that you swore you saw two turns ago. 

You couldn’t help but feel a little frustrated with yourself. You thought you were good at directions. Or at the very least, not getting lost. You crossed your arms as you stood at the crossroads and tried to figure out the way out. For a compound that looked quite open and breezy when you first entered, you somehow found yourself lost in the heart of the compound without a window in sight. 

In your silence, you could easily hear a few muffled shouts. Which sounded bad for you.

You didn’t hesitate as you decided down one crossroad and quickened the pace. You weren’t sure if it was because you were discovered to not be in your room, or something else, but you needed to get to that pond as soon as possible. 

You paused your speedwalk to take off your boots and run through the compound in your socks. If you got in a fight with someone, this would definitely work against you, but for the time being, it was worth it in order to run around the compound stealthily. You tried to run in the direction of where you felt the wind, and to your delight, you did find an open area, but it was the courtyard. The lit hallways were plenty to allow the guards across the courtyard to see you and it was mere seconds before they shouted at you and you sprinted in the opposite direction. 

You ducked around corners and down hallways, but you could easily hear the sounds of your pursuers behind you. It wasn’t long until you found yourself at a dead end, and you readied yourself for a fight. Your boots would have to work as makeshift boxing gloves for the time being.

The first person you tackled came down with ease, but it wasn’t long until you were overwhelmed and someone was pinning you in their grasp. You kicked wildly and shoved yourself off the wall to knock the two of you over, which successfully worked, except you hit the ground head first. You tried to fight against the dazed feeling that quickly stilled your flailing limbs, but the world was spinning just a little too much for your liking and your eyes fluttered shut.

“Wake up!” you jolted awake as your eyes snapped open. You probably would’ve fallen out of your chair had you not been nearly tied up in it. You noticed how your arms were handcuffed behind you, around the back of the chair that was keeping you straight up.

“Good morning to you too,” you couldn’t help but gripe back due to the throbbing in your head.

“(y/n), was it?” you froze at the sound of your name and looked to the voice to find Wenwu looking down at you.

“That’s correct.”

“How could a mother care enough for her child that she’d enroll them into a dojo, but then leave them to fend for themselves in the streets of Macau?”

“She died.” You responded bluntly as you continued to glare at him.

“You don’t look like you were born there.”

“World has changed a lot since you first were born,” you explained offhandedly, “immigration.” You were clearly at the disadvantage here. In front of you was a man who effortlessly slaughtered thousands of people and reigned as a dictator. He wouldn’t care if he killed you, but here you were, riling him up.

Katy’s reckless nature must’ve been rubbing off on you.

“Ah, so you immigrated from Ta Lo.” He smiled at you, “did they kick you out as well?”

“You keep on saying Ta Lo this, Ta Lo that. I have no idea what you’re talking about!”

“And yet you care so much when I threaten to burn them down.”

“Because I care about human life. It’s not right to burn down an entire civilization to the ground because you’re angry.” You glared up at him, “in fact, it’s downright insane.”

He gave you a smirk, “funny how Shang-Chi said something similar.”

“Good, he grew up with morals even with a horrible dad like you.” He slapped you across the face and you let out a gasp at the sting, but that didn’t stop you from turning back to him with a smile on your face.

“I wouldn’t smile like that,” he threatened, “I know more about you than you think.”

“Really? You seem to be fishing for something you’re not going to get.” 

“You grew up in Ta Lo, and you’re a part of the Ta Lo military. You moved to Macau four years ago as you tailed Xialing.” Your face took on a confused look as he continued his tale. “In those four years, you haven’t heard from Ta Lo. They’ve abandoned you, and yet, you try so hard to protect them.” Your heart was pounding, and in your handcuffs, your hands kept on alternating between being loose and balling up. “To think, Xialing is already abandoning you for just disobeying her orders.” He was grinning widely now, and you could see him delighting at your nervous expression. “You’ve been lying to her for 4 years, she won’t forgive you for that.” He proudly strutted away from you, “You’ll be abandoned and nothing from your life will be remembered.

“You’ve been sitting on your throne of lies for far too long,” even from several feet away you could see him sneering at you, “and I can’t wait to see it collapse.”

You dropped your nervous facade and grinned confidently at him. This change in your atmosphere seemed to shock him as he looked closer at you, “a throne of lies? You flatter me so,” you smiled and he walked closer to you, “no, I think a seat of deceit is a more fitting term. I don’t have a magical superpower that makes me any sort of royalty.” You pointedly looked at the ten rings on his wrist, “I don’t need it. Besides,” you let out a scoff, “everything you’ve said was a lie. You know even less about me than you thought.”

“That’s a lie!”

“Prove it.”

“My men have been trailing-”

“You don’t even know how to get to Ta Lo, you said it yourself.” You allowed yourself to smile a wide, unnerving smile, “if you can’t wait to see me collapse, then I’m ecstatic to see you fall.”

Another punch to the face, this one with enough force to cause your consciousness to falter. Through your murky ears, you heard him say, “take (pronoun) to the prison.”

You were out before you were even moved from your chair.

When you opened your eyes again, there was a dull throb from your head and brown rock above you. Definitely not the bedroom that you were in earlier, though, you couldn’t say you were exactly surprised considering the rough treatment that got you here.

There was a relieved sigh, “glad you’re awake.”

“What happened?” you groggily asked once the world came into focus. The closest person you saw was Shang-Chi looking worriedly at you.

“Ran into my dad.” He explained, “uh, he wanted me to discuss battle plans with him and I kind of shouted in his face.”

You winced as your hand brushed a knot growing on your head, “I thought you were the rational one.”

“I’d say not wanting to burn down a village makes me pretty rational.”

That jolted you alert and you jumped to your feet, “we need to get out of here.” Your eyes quickly searched the cell that you were all being held in as you searched for something that would aid your escape.

“Woah,” Shang-Chi held out his hands around you to steady you, “don’t move too quickly, you just got a nasty hit to your head.”

“I’ve dealt with worse,” you mentioned offhandedly and brushed past him to look closer at your situation.

“When?” it was two voices who asked the question in shock, and you halted your quick movements to find where Xialing’s voice came from.

“You’re here too.” You smiled as you looked at her, though the same couldn’t be said for her. “It was from before we met,” you waved off her concern as you walked closer to her. She still looked at you with anger behind her eyes, but she didn’t forcefully walk in the other direction, so you took that as a step in the right direction. “You’re still mad?” you asked gently.

“Yeah, I am.” Her voice was curt, and you were finding it hard to believe that she was standing her ground just because she was willing to talk to you. 

“We’re both still alive.” You tried to smile and lighten the situation.

“I wouldn’t call being trapped in this prison alive.” She nearly spat out, her arms still crossed defensively in front of her.

You held back the desire to roll your eyes, “would you stop acting like a child? You’re acting really petty right now and honestly, this is the worst time to act like this.”

“So what if I’m acting like a child? I never got a chance to embrace my childhood.” She spat back. You could tell the two of you were getting more and more heated, and that this wouldn’t solve anything, but you were so frustrated with her that it was hard to think straight.

“Yeah? Well, you don’t need to get angry at me for not listening to your orders.” You argued back, “I’m older than you for crying out loud!”

“I’m not mad at you for not listening to me, I’m mad at you because you put yourself in danger! I told you to get out of there!” Xialing shouted at you and threw her arms to the side, finally revealing why she was giving you the cold shoulder.

You couldn’t believe her, “and leave you, Shang-Chi, and Katy behind?” your brows furrowed as you balled your fists, “I’m not the kind of person who does that.”

“You could have gotten out safe and sound, and not get dragged to this prison if you had just listened to me!” the cavernous room echoed back her voice, amplifying the heated emotions of your fight at least two-fold.

“I know how to hold my own in a fight! I wasn’t going to let the three of you get killed!” Xialing was always more comfortable than you around the concept of death. In the 4 years that you’ve been working together, you rarely were the one to finally take someone’s life. Sure, you helped orchestrate it and handled many of the logistics, but it was never you snapping a neck or pulling a trigger. Xialing handled much of that.  

“Are you sure?” Xialing asked scathingly, “because in all of the years I’ve known you, I’ve never seen you fight.”

“Because you always insisted you didn’t want me to get hurt!”

“You said you didn’t want to fight!”

“I said I didn’t want to fight in a live-streamed match for all the dark web to see!”

She let out a scream of frustration, “it doesn’t matter our past anymore, because all of us are stuck in this soul-sucking prison that I tried to escape all of those years ago. I didn’t want you to get caught up in my mess.”

“I’m already so much more tangled up in it than you know.” You added scathingly. You didn’t wait to hear her reaction though as you spun around and walked away. Realistically you wouldn’t get very far, but at least you wouldn’t be within kicking distance of each other. Of course, the two of you got into disagreements in the past, but this argument seemed to hit a bit harder than your past ones. Probably because it touched so much more on the backgrounds of both of you. Something neither of you really talked about that much. She was determined to leave her father behind and not think about him or the Ten Rings at all. You? Well, you simply didn’t want to tell her your origin story.

You turned the corner (honestly surprised that this cell even had enough space to have a corner) and was surprised to see two people looking back at you. Surely, they heard your entire fight. “Um, hi Katy.” You gave her a shy wave, “who’s this?”

Let's talk about MCU Phase 4

So there's been general rumblings in the community that Phase 4 is aimless. Directionless. That there's no connections between the movies. And I can respect that viewpoint but to me I see where it's all heading towards. Secret Wars (2015 version). What exactly IS secret wars though? Well to be short it's a deathmatch between universes for survival. The original universe MILES MORALES was from was the Ultimate Universe (Earth 1610) alongside the black nick fury (In the 616 universe he was white). However incursions happened (Yes those same incursions from Doctor Strange 2) and universes across the multiverse were colliding into each other. Eventually it was just the main comic universe vs the ultimate universe and there was some shenanigans with Doctor Doom becoming a god and creating battleworld. But we'll save that for later. For now let's look at what we've gotten in Phase 4. I'll also explain exactly how these all tie in for the future.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR EVERY PHASE 4 MOVIE AND SHOW

WandaVision: Well we were given Scarlet Witch, The Darkhold, Nexus beings, Agatha, White Vision, Wiccan, Speed and Monica getting her powers. Scarlet witch was important for Doctor Strange 2 alongside the Darkhold however this may not be the last we see of her.

More importantly Nexus beings are.....people who can basically defy fate. They are quite literally chaos. Save that for later. But there's also White Vision who's still out there on the planet or galaxy. Wanda's kids also make their debut here which is setting up the Young Avengers for the future or some deviation of it lol

Falcon and the Winter Soldier: We got more of Zemo, Sam becoming Captain America, Bucky being at peace with himself, the Flag smashers, the GRC, Torres being set up as the new falcon, John Walker, Isaiah and his grandson Eli and Val. And of course there's Sharon Carter.

We got some very interesting development here. Eli is another Young Avenger, John Walker is being set up for the Thunderbolts with Val serving as the leader/recruiter, Zemo also will most likely be on the thunderbolts as well and Sam becoming Captain America is huge for a variety of reasons. Champions (Avengers variation) can be set up from here but let's not forget Sharon Carter who'll be huge for Armor Wars, Possibly Ironheart and more.

Loki: Oh man. We got the TVA, introduction of multiple timelines, Variants, He Who Remains, and the prologue to Kang.

Listen, this show is very pivotal for what's being set up. We know the infinity stones are only locked to the universe they come from, The brief lore of the Multiverse war with Kangs fighting each other. Loki being set into ANOTHER universe and the opening of our universe to the grand multiverse (Thank you sylvie -___-) whereas before someone like Chavez couldn't access our reality since we were sealed off. The TVA is also huge because we've seen technology capable of nullifying magic and other wonky things like sending people to the Void when pruned

Black Widow: Alright we were given Yelena, Taskmaster, Red Guardian, and the other widows being free.

This movie is deceptive. Get it? Because Black Widow is a spy? ......Okay I'll see myself out lol. BUT basically what I'm saying is that we got Taskmaster who is prime Thunderbolt material, Yelena who we've seen pop up in Hawkeye and has a connection with Val, Red Guardian while being a bumbling idiot he DID mention fighting Captain America in the past. Also we've seen briefly a widow fighting against an Extremis guy in Shang-Chi, I think the widows are doing their own thing now and we may see a few of them working for Val.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: Wooo boy. Ten rings the organization, Ten rings weapon, Dragons, Ta Lo, Xu Xialing taking over the ten rings organization and HOTEL CALIFORNIA!!!! (Such a lovely place~)

Memes aside (Great song), There's so much to unpack here. We've seen the Ten rings symbol in Iron man 1, Ant-Man, and now Ms. Marvel. This organization has been around for thousands of years and their connections has to run deep. The weapons themselves from the post credit scene aren't known to be Kree, Science or Magic based. Oh man. Like the Bangle from Ms. Marvel we have something.....odd here. Celestial tech? Maybe something else? Perhaps not even from our universe? Also freaking dragons exist. DRAGONS! They're so cool! Ta Lo is also of note because it's a realm (Not so much a different universe) like Asgard or where the Djinn come from. It's also part of the same realms that K'un L'un is from. But Xialing taking over the ten rings....Yeah we're definitely going to see more of the impact this has in the immediate future. Perhaps a collaboration with Val and Sharon.

What If…?: The Watcher and other Universes. Also sick ass Ultron fight.

Not much to really say here. It's a cool novel concept taken literally from the same comics series but it did show us our first look into alternate universes. We've seen Captain Carter variant show up in Doctor Strange 2 and I think this show sets a lot of the groundwork for what we will see in the future. Also cmon. That Ultron fight? AMAZING!!! *Ahem* fanboy aside, I don't think that everything in What if will stay in What If.

Eternals: Arishem the fucking judge, Tiamat's emergence, Eternals themselves, Deviants, Starfox and Black Knight.

Right so Arishem is.....I think he's going to judge humanity after the events or during the events of Secret Wars. He's literally the prime celestial. The one who created all the eternals across the universe if not multiverse. Tiamat's emergence is also really important. I feel like there are organizations studying him and maybe trying to take pieces of him to use as tech? We'll see. The eternals themselves is important because it's not just OUR planet that has them judging by the post credits scene. Our eternals though....well they have a LONG history and met many many people in the past and present. The deviants are also going to be seen again in the future. And.....in the comics.....Thanos was a deviant. Which ties into....Starfox being thanos brother. Yeah....I think there's going to be more lore into Thanos but also other eternals not from earth.

And to wrap it up. Black Knight and his cursed Ebony Blade which may or may not be related to the Necrosword from Thor 4. This sword may serve as a key in upcoming events but setting that aside, we see Dane talking to Blade himself. Which is setting up for a possible Midnight Sons? Hmm.

Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, Introduction of the Kingpin and Echo.

Right so Hawkeye gave us Kate who is absolutely fantastic and will be a central figure like Yelena moving forward. Kingpin however being introduced in the MCU proper does mean we have a central villain figure for a few heroes including Peter Parker. Echo is of course getting her own show and she may or may not end up on the Thunderbolts

Spider-Man: No Way Home: More Variants, Daredevil debut, College Trilogy, Symbiote

So this movie was huge for showing different variants of the same character in a single universe. I do think they would cause an Incursion if they stayed any longer but the upside is that the Raimi and Webb Spider-men universes have had their villains redeemed and alive now XD. Matt Murdock also makes his first MCU debut in this movie and we'll see him in Echo plus his own Disney Plus show~ There's also the college trilogy being set up which means everything up to now was just a prologue for Peter. I can't wait to see what villains we will get......and speaking of villains. HOLY SHIT WE HAVE A SYMBIOTE HERE!!! If you guys aren't aware, the black suit spider man actually debut in the first secret wars in the 80s. There's no stretch to think they'll do the same thing. Also we have to see if our universe does have symbiotes

Moon Knight: Introduction of Egyptian gods, Exploring the Afterlife, Avatars

Yeah. I love this show but we got a lot of future material here. The egyptian gods are still here on earth and they DO have power but stay at an arms distance. We've seen the afterlife albeit briefly but it ties into Thor 4 with Valhalla. And Taweret brings up the Ancestral Plane from Black Panther. I don't think these afterlifes are just here to be here. We may see some wonky things happen where these places get disturbed and souls are pulled out. But avatars. Look. This is huge. Bast is the Panther Goddess and that means she too has an Avatar like how Marc was for Khonshu. We also seen Layla become the Scarlet Scarab because she's an avatar for Taweret~ I don't think is the last we'll see of this concept.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: I mean CMON. This ENTIRE movie is the Lynchpin with Quantumania perhaps being the only other Phase 4 movie that makes it clear as day what's going to happen. We got Incursions, Another universe with 838, Darkhold being destroyed across the multiverse, Chavez being a Multiversal traveler, Clea opening a portal to the dark dimension because Strange caused an incursion. Look. This movie lol.....it literally told you all what will happen in the future XDDD

Ms. Marvel: The Bangle, Mutations, Switching places, Noor dimension

Right so the Bangle like the Ten rings seems to be an unknown origin weapon. It's most likely not from this universe. That being said, this is just ONE out of a TWO piece set. And judging by the fact that this bangle was discovered in a place related to the ten rings.....Oh man. There's also the fact that Kamala Khan is our FIRST ever mutant. To be fair she was supposed to be a mutant in the comics but the whole Perlmutter pushing for Inhumans to be the next x-men....yeah....That aside this is huge as it sets up for other mutants like Namor in Black Panther 2, X-men and more.

The post credit is also....I think Carol might've found the other bangle and activated it. Either way this bangle is definitely not from our planet. Curious to see if the bangle are the infamous Nega-Bands or Quantum Bands from the comics. And the Noor dimension. We have a secret dimension that overlaps with our own. I'll explain why this is important at the end.

Thor: Love and Thunder: Valhalla, Necrosword, Eternity, Love (Gorr's daughter), This movie just affirms what I already know. We got valhalla which may just be another realm like Ta Lo or whatever. Ergo when a person dies like energy they don't really cease to exist but rather go somewhere else. The Necrosword which....ties into Knull the GOD of symbiotes. (Might be the sword that decapitated the celestial head used as a spaceport called Knowhere) This sword could also be related to the Ebony Blade that Dane Whitman has.

Also holy shit we've seen ETERNITY! That's literally how it looks in the comics LOL! Uh....this must mean Infinity, Oblivion, Death and maybe even the Phoenix Force are in the MCU. Nerdness aside, this lets us know that there are VERY strong multiversal entities that DO exist. And this ties into Love since she was given a fraction of Eternity's power when she was resurrected. I absolutely think Love will be a MAJOR character moving forward if not the reason as to how Secret Wars begins or Ends or both.

Right so what does ALL of this mean???? Well Let's look at the pieces and make them fit yeah?

We're getting completely new characters like She-hulk, Moon Knight, Ironheart, Nova, etc etc.

We have successor characters like Sam Captain America, Kate Bishop, Yelena Bolova, etc etc

There are a lot of things concerning earth, space, magic and the multiverse.

Listen. This all ties into secret wars. I think Kang's multiversal war is literally just that. A secret war fought across reality and incursions will happen forcing magic characters to get involved. It'll probably get so bad that there will only be a handful of Universes left and we may see either 616 vs 838 OR what I think is more likely 616 vs some other universe where we see legacy characters come back like Tony, Steve, Natasha, etc VERSUS our new Black Widow, Captain America, etc etc

Can you imagine our peter parker FORCED to fight another Tony so OUR universe doesn't get erased? Or our Sam vs their Steve? And these other variants won't know about the history or connection our characters have. New characters are being introduced to increase the scale of how epic this battle will be. Marc Moon Knight vs Jake Moon Knight or Arthur Moon Knight. Ms Marvel vs a Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel. The possibilities are endless.

Love will function as either the catalyst that starts this whole thing with each Kang trying to use her as an ultimate weapon given she has the power of infinity in her or she ends up putting this conflict to rest for good with her powers similar to God Doom. She may end up accidentally or intentionally creating a BattleWorld which is a hodge podge of different universes that were destroyed put into a single world.

Either way, all roads lead to Kang and we WILL see more versions of Kang in the future. Everything in Phase 4 is building up towards New characters fighting the Old characters we've loved and they've loved. Everything is leading up to the survival of our reality vs another universe's reality. We're going to see Black Suit Spider man, the gods getting involved, magic users, Old and New characters returning. It's going to make the Endgame portal scene look like a toddler.

People wanted another Endgame event. They wanted to know where it was all heading?

THIS is where it's all heading. I hope you're all ready for the vast epicness and grand scale the MCU will be heading towards. Infinity Stones? Wiping out half the universe? That was just the warm-up.

ENTIRE universes being wiped out, Fighting a war against multiple variants of the same character, Introduction of new characters from our universe or others.....Yeah. This is the big league now. And I hope you're all ready for it.

Do we think Najma and the Clan Destine are like the Dweller in Darkness of Shang Chi? It is being blocked from going into a different dimension (not that I think they are large, flying demons). And Nan says other people have come to try to break the Dweller in Darkness out. They are all promised something. For Wenwu, it was his wife. But it could’ve been riches or whatever for the others.

In that sense, the Rings (and probably the Bangle) are just a tool. Something strong enough to brake down the door. But it doesn’t mean the Bangle or the Rings necessarily come from the same place?

It’s also possible that it is easier to break down the barriers between dimensions now that it was before without the TVA an such. But I am still not totally clear on the difference between a new universe and a new timeline vs new dimension.
