I need Sophie and Tam fighting together in a battle with the Neverseen. Like imagine everyone is battling, wielding fire, throwing up forcefields, swinging swords and daggers, when all of a sudden the entire area gets completely covered in shadows. No one can see a thing… until red lightning flashes through the room.

An episode where we are shown Eddie's childhood and it's shown that he had a boy crush and didn't understand it.

Then he met Shannon and everything was perfect: she was pretty, smart, and cute, and why wouldn't he fall in love with her? He should love her, so he does, and that's enough to him to believe that this "boy crush" was something he made up.

But then he's at war, and there's this teammate who's brave and strong, and Eddie feels light when they talk. He can almost forget where they are. And yeah, that might be admiration, right? Because there's no way that was any type of love. No, it couldn't. They are both men and they are in a military camp and it doesn't make sense because Eddie doesn't like men okay?

So when this guy is relocated and Eddie doesn't have any more information about him (is he alive? Is he hurt? Does he miss me?), he doesn't understand why it hurts.

So he's back home, and Shannon is screaming and he's screaming. His home feels like a minefield, and he hates it. Because they should be fine now, they should be the perfect couple with a loving child and everything should be perfect. But his mind is screaming at him, home doesn't feel like home, and he needs a love he can't get or feel. Why did he feel so safe at war with that teammate but could feel the same with his fucking wife?

When Shannon leaves, Eddie understands. He's just mad because she left Chris. But he knows she could tell he doesn't love her anymore, not the romantic love she wants.

Eventually, there's Evan "Buck" Buckley. They don't get along at first, but that lasts a shift, and the next one they are already bumping shoulders and making jokes. When the earthquake comes, Buck is the one who tries to reassure him his kid is fine and safe. And the one who notices how he's trembling after the shift so "Can I drive you to take your kid?" and he talks with Chris the whole drive.

He doesn't know when it hits him: Buck means safety to him. Where Buck is, Eddie is safe, and loved, and his mind shuts up.

Even when Shannon comes back and his mind is racing with anxiety, Buck is kind and listens to him, and it calms him.

There's that feeling again, the one he doesn't understand, but does he need to? Buck's there, he isn't going anywhere. And they love each other so much (and Eddie doesn't want to think much about it. About the kind of love, because this is enough, this safety is enough)

Buck loves his child, Buck is always there to listen and take care of him and Eddie aches. But it's nothing because Buck's there. They are happy and why should he ruin everything for a feeling he doesn't understand?

And even when they date other people, the feeling and they continue the same. "You're attached to the hip," says he's Abuela. And yeah, maybe? But that's okay because friendship comes first. Right?

If he gets annoyed by Buck's girlfriends or he gets stressed by his, that's not linked (why would it be? Buck's girlfriends are hurting him and he is just... he's not ready to date, he doesn't want to date)

And then Buck is dating Tommy... and they continue the same. They are friends, they come first, Tommy is kind to Buck, Buck adores him, and Eddie gets so fucking annoyed by Tommy. Tommy, the one he was going out and playing basketball with, and he doesn't understand again. He's tired of not understanding.

He's tired of not knowing why his heart aches when he sees Buck smile, talking with Chris, being kind to their patients, rumbling random facts, aching whenever Buck's next to him, actually.

He's tired of not understanding himself.

She had that same attitude.” He nudges Christopher with his elbow. “She handled your abuelo so well.”  “He’s hard to handle sometimes,” Chris admits, quietly like he’s afraid they’re going to get caught sharing secrets, and it makes Eddie laugh all the more. “I like when you talk about her.”  “Hmm?”  “My mom. I like when you tell stories about her. And how you put her up all over the house, like she’s still here. It makes me feel like I knew her before she died.” A weight settles over Eddie’s chest right where Shannon used to lay her head. “You did, baby,” he insists, ducking his chin so he can see Christopher’s face when he turns his head.  Christopher shrugs. “Not really,” he says. “Not the way I know you or Buck.”  Eddie twists around onto his side. “I’ll tell you anything you want to know about your mom, baby.”

Hmmmm, I’m not really sure tbh? 😅 As much fun as I had with my old Harvey & Shannon content, looking back I lowkey feel like their inclusions (aka as Sam’s bio-paternal family) + backstory seem a bit… “convoluted”, looking back? ^^;

Idk, maybe if I thought about it I could potentially have Harvey himself still stick around (*just adjust his story to be more like he & Pamela had a brief one-night stand (as a way for her to rebel against her own controlling mom), Harvey leaving town/disappearing shortly afterwards, and whilst Pamela started going out with Jeremy (to eventually appease her mom, after a lot of nagging), she soon finds herself pregnant with Sam a few weeks later 👀. Cue a quick shotgun wedding to Jeremy, dotingly trying to raise Sam into a pretty pink girly-girl… only for that to backfire as Sam started standing up for herself in her teen years (leading to more controlling pushiness from her parents’ end, esp. Pamela for her own personal reasons… 🍵🍵)*).

-Buuuut yeah, just an idea to throw around for now lol If yall are interested I’ll probably consider incorporating this some now… but idk, we’ll see 🤔

can’t stop thinking about the ocs gang playing terrraria lately. mary would be a ranger obviously, and shannon would be melee and they’d be a godtier team. mary would be like “sorry, i don’t wanna babysit” when asked to play multiplayer with the rest, but then pop in every so often anyway, help with the bosses and/or drop off some helpful stuff she found in her own world with shannon. she has her own single player world, but she hasn’t touced it in years, she plays multiplayer with shannon so much

ava is a summoner, considered (relatively) weak as hell bc the ais for the summons suck, but she’s determined to make it work for her. beatrice is absolutely mixed. playing multiplayer with ava is a bit stressful for beatrice because she’s a good fighter and wants to focus more on building and resource gathering, meanwhile ava is not that good of a fighter (relatively speaking), but loves to spelunk around, and seemingly every time beatrice turns around, ava’s died and is just like 🥺 please go get my money and/or items for me, bea, because she’s always running broke since she can’t resist buying all the useless stuff from the trading merchant, and misplacing her items. neither of them have a single player world of their own, and they share a world together

lilith actually plays “multiplayer” with avatrice a lot, if multiplayer counts as mostly deliberately joining the world when they’re afk or asleep or something. she has so many random bases around the house, and avatrice only find them because they notice one of their npcs is gone and has teleported clear across the map for some reason, the some reason being lilith’s bases. sometimes she’ll join when avatrice are in the game, but no matter how much they try to pay attention, she always manages to slip in unnoticed. she always finds and leaves avatrice a bunch of amazing loot in their base and she’s a great teammate when fighting bosses, so they can’t complain too much. Also parallel plays with beatrice a lot, they’re often just resource gathering or building in silence a lot, and they understand each other wants/needs without having to even say a thing

aside from playing with avatrice, lilith plays multiplyer with camila as well, with a world on mastermode. she’s good, but do not ask her how many graves she has from her early days playing mastermode. they’re in the several thousands. lilith doesn’t really try on avatrice’s world, because she’s trying to be sneaky mainly, but she’s a really good builder. her and camila’s world is full of beautiful ass buildings and she’s constantly building more. tbh that’s part of why she’s in avatrice’s world so often and being sneaky about it, aside from being emotionally repressed, because she’s just gathering blocks to build with there instead of in her and camila’s own world because she doesn’t want to mess up her own world

camila can’t build for shit, F. she’s great at making farms, but building? nah. she’d just live in dirt squares if she could. extremely skilled and often extremely lucky as well, whenever you ask about her gameplay in terraria she’ll say something like “oh i found 16 life crystals in one cave under 10 minutes!!” or “i just beat skeletron in the ‘spawn in hell’ seed world that i started started up last week”

not to go back to a show I havent talked about in ages, but I'm thinking about Shannon O'Connor again. this guy is mentioned by name 4 times in the entire show and yet we know that 1. he was in the same grade as Jacob at school 2. he was presumably at prom that night, explaining why Irene was there as a chaperone 3. he is likely one of the 'O'Connor men' who take part in the search parties for Jacob 4. he was at the new years eve party, and helps set up the turkey drop 5. he was on the search party for Woodsley. my guy manages to be directly involved with every single major plot point of isw, and yet is so minor a role that they didnt even cast anyone to play him. insane. I am obsessed with him

Natalia is THAT girl. She takes care of herself. She has a full skincare routine she carries out every week.

She once offered Teryl one of those shiny, silver face masks

He accepted it. And then asked for another one. And another one.

Cue Clive entering the shack. Two long-haired men with silver faces greet him. He doesn’t remember much about what happened after that.

Shannon has some beef with some bigger bakery corporations (because she’s just BETTER.)

No joke, they sent her a cease and desist email to literally stop handing out free pastries (she made herself) because people stopped purchasing from their stores during that period of time

Jasper sometimes uses the nickname ‘Lia’ for Natalia

Xani is kind of fluent in Spanish

Gray has his own StarxSocial account that Xani helped set up

He doesn’t post a lot on there, he mainly uses it for keeping up with news and… pop culture - in order to try and connect with Xani because god knows what the youth of the time are interested in

From time to time, he will get logged out and will have to ask his daughter how to log back in

Like the rest of his (presumed) powers, he refuses to use his fangs. Though, they may come out simultaneously when his eyes switch colour

Clive has the most horrendous experiences whenever a barista attempts to write his name on a cup

Sometimes he’ll just blurt out a random name that is nowhere close to his out of panic and when his coffee is completed he’ll just be sat there wondering

Shannon has gossip sessions with Kay.

They are genuinely both nice, caring and drama-free individuals but sometimes they'll hear about the stuff happening around them and be like, "omg we have to talk about this"

Lana may have fallen for her boyfriend first, but he fell way harder 

She got Inigo hyperventilating, giggling, blushing and kicking his blankets!!!

His sketchbooks quickly fill up with images of her and her flowing blue hair (I swear I will draw these two prompts someday. SOMEDAY)

Natalia is quite OP at video games, despite initially not having much experience?

If the group ever go out in public together, she's in charge of co-ordinating their outfits if she is not satisfied because she knows her fashion 💅
