the thing is like i'm always kind of concerned in a metacognative way, like-- am i uncomfortable around my sister because she's trans? because she's autistic? am i also perpetrating ableism and transphobia despite being also trans and autistic because our wavelengths are often disconnected in a grating and distressing way? or like is it because i grew up being switzerland in the deeply miserable and fucking painful family shit that happened when she came out and ended up hearing a lot of the shit from both her + my parents and that was... in retrospect really fucking traumatizing for me also, and because i still subconsciously associate her w/ being the catalyst to some of the worst events of my fucking life, and because my preferred blunt & not very emotional communication doesn't mesh with hers, and there's still some lingering resentment that she sometimes considers me like, her Sister and some kind of guidepost of femininity (this one specifically is on me because idr if ive ever come out to her. but the brain is not reasonable.) shrug.
