That's for another post. I have quite a few treats to share for this anniversary!#Rather...I've been thinking about my own relationships and the bonds I've forged and broken.#The transition between environments...when you leave somewhere and hear about how all the people you were once close with-#-have been moving on without you? It's so bittersweet.#You want to be happy for them. You wish you were at their side. You cannot be at their side.#Relationships change like the tides. They ebb and flow. Sometimes they crash so hard into the shore it reshapes it entirely.#The truth is that we are more surrounded by love than we realize. Even when we feel utterly alone - there is someone who wants to help.#And to me this scene strikes a chord in that way.#This is the reminder than even though you feel like it is all burning down around you - you are loved.#There are people who miss you. People who are so thankful for your presence in their life.#And most importantly of all. And I say this from the heart: There are people you have yet to meet.#Remember this in the darkest of days: The future is full of loves you have yet to see. The present is also full of love you forgot to see.#Another reminder to go tell someone you care about how much they mean to you today. It matters.

#a concept that I haven't seen anyone present before#I'm a huge fan of psychic powers making people have weird little details#and considering the sheer amount of energy this boy has; it would make sense for this to be visible#so you see that in his explosions Mob has bright red eyes; because these are ESP heavy events#while he normally has black eyes; which are the “true” color in a genetic level#but they only appear like that because his powers were extremely repressed#in this case I imagine that post-finale Mob would have dark red eyes since here ESP flows freely on his body#it is also a mix of the normal black and the 100% bright red which is really cool#it kinda symbolizes how he made peace with both sides of himself?? very nice I love that#mp100#mob psycho 100#mp100 fanart#shigeo kageyama#lalarts

#dick: i might have a baby on the way#damian: you're going to have a baby to replace me :'( !!#like idk i think we can't just ignore that#although in another post i did make a comparison of this fear damian has of dick abandoning him#like damian chose to stay by dick's side#and when both of them came back from the dead--dick went back to bludhaven--away from damian. which was an adjustment#and then dick got amnesia and we did actually see damian crying over it bc again it's like dick left him (unintentionally obv)#and it's just hard in general when someone you love isn't there like you expect or want them to be#so ofc then damian is trying to figure himself out and he's distancing himself from the family#but dick finds him and shows him support and assists damian w his guilt and grief for alfred simply by talking to damian#which seemed fitting bc other than bruce--dick and damian are the 2 bats we've seen grieve the hardest over alfred#so with that action damian knew he still had dick's support and trust after everything that had happened#and dick going after damian in that instance is just another example of dick showing up for damian#like when dick went to tokyo to save damian. when he went to khadym w damian. when he chose to save damian during beast world#and damian has shown up to support dick as well as we saw in tt's run#and within all of that is where their strong partnership and love for each other flows#Dick Grayson#Damian Wayne#anon

i keep thinking about zuko during the day of black sun, starting down his father who's goaded him into staying by torturing him with details of his missing mother, only to use that opportunity to try and kill him again.... only for Zuko to use a technique Ozai did not even know possible, flowing through motions that are distinctly not firebending demonstrating a power so different and deeper than Ozai could ever fathom... idk man just zuko

There are so many timeskips within the flashback! My flow and pacing are wheezing!#I loved how this scene starts with the crowd's point of view. The observations and gossip add a lot.#And it helps reposition us to what the external perspective is on these two. Namely that 'they don't get along.'#Tensions are known! Even here in Nouveau Lotus Pier.#Ah...Lan Wangji never got a chance to see the Lotus Pier of Wei Wuxian's childhood and adolescence...did he?#It's not the same. He's not the same. Call them by the same name and people will know what you mean...#...but the first version - the one with the fond memories - is gone for good.#It's sort of interesting isn't it? How names can hold so much power and still be hollow?#We often get stuck over past versions of things. Be it ourselves or other people or places.#Change is scary but the truth is nothing ever stays the same. It's always moving. You're always moving.#It's okay to mourn the past. Maybe it's people you lost or the person you hoped to be. Let yourself feel the grief.#And then? Then you grow around that pain and keep on going. If you feel like you can't - remember you don't have to do it alone.#A side note: Listening to the tossing flowers extra is so essential for this scene. i cant go back to that life man
#every time i think im out they pull me back in <- was in pokeask for 5+ years#i knew what i was getting into playing pmd and the temptation to start another ask blog is overwhelming#but i also knw i absolutely dont have the energy to keep it going for at least 6 months LOL. at some point it eventually feels more#like an obligation and it feels draining. maybe ill do it again at some point but when i learn how to manage my expectations#also everyone i knew is either deactivated or hasnt posted since 2021.. and im always gonna compare that to the 2016 daily ask#blog boom around the time sm came out. unfortunately im picky so i like to have a lot of options and it looks like ask blogs kinda waned#since i last played in the community. i at least have the sense not to join a community discord now. that was so bad for my heart#i knw it sounds like i hated my time there but it was fun and a good way of getting to know other ppls ocs and stories#and a fun way of writing and participating in other ppls stories without it feeling like such a one sided thing#looking back i think it also leans heavily on how you write your characters and interactions than a fully fleshed out plot#if i loosened up a bit and let my story go with the flow of asks instead of only letting it lead down one route i wouldve had more fun#instead i was constantly trying to pick out what order to answer questions to make it go the way i wanted it to go#and not really learning how to anticipate and move with questions that wouldve opened up a lot of possibilities#which couldve made it more fun and less stressful. idk#yapping#diary

instead of straight-up fighting each other i think itd ve very funny if max just casually points out rico's flaws in fighting
for example ig max has to explain to joris that you should hold your sword this way although many king's guards and even rico does it quite sometimes.
I mean. when you think about it. he's done a lot of teaching 😭 it's probably a second nature at that point- he doesn't even realize he's doing it anymore. always, always looking for improvement where he can find it.
#fmf verse#although they have different sword styles! which I have somehow neglected to mention#central kingdom has the more typical sword often with a hand guard#northern weapons often don't have anything protruding from the sides#because they frequently change the grip or the way they're holding the blade mid-movement#to ensure that continues flow of motion and energy in a fight#and having any kind of hand guard then becomes somewhat impractical
