Another year, another art vs artist meme! Even though I hardly post on this blog nowadays, I still haven't forgotten about y'all despite jumping to other fandoms ^^;;

Speaking of fandoms, this year saw me dive into drawing fanart for God of War: Ragnarok and Sifu (with a smattering of Silmarillion stuff, too)! I look forward to seeing what else I'll draw in the coming year, and whether I'll branch out into other fandoms or not XDD Maybe I'll jump back into the Silmarillion, though I think it's safe to say that my own "golden age" of drawing Silm fanart has passed ^^;;

Nevertheless, I just wanted to thank all of you who have stuck with me for this long! I really appreciate your support 💗💗💗

Today is the mid-Autumn Festival! Coincidentally, I was able to finish this painting in time: some more post-true ending art for Sifu, where the MC becomes Kuroki's new muse and inspires a new kimono (with a Chinese hairpin). This one took me a while because I wanted to get that lineart squeaky clean and crisp loll But now it's done!! :''''D

There are elements of all five bosses in MC's kimono, but I also wanted the entirety of the design to reference the yin side of yinyang, hence the moon in the middle! MC's hairpin also references the immortality pendant with the five Yansheng coins XDD

I’m sorry.” Her eyes began to burn, which only made the ache in her head worse. But she didn’t know how to stop it. And even if she did, she was too tired to. Her face scrunched up, and a lump formed in her throat, cracking her voice open. “I’m sorry.” When she began to cry, Fajar leaned forward and drew her up with more ease than she would’ve thought possible of him. She curled up and leaned her head on his shoulder, with his strong arm wrapped around her. His free hand found hers and she held it tightly. This close, he didn’t smell like purple flowers anymore. I was inspired to draw this when Clamavi de Profundis released their cover of the Oath of Elendil, but then I just left it to gather dust in my folders for months loll As messy as it is, I’ve decided to post it anyway because I really do like it (though I wish I had the energy to clean it up more).

Anyways, for context, it’s yet another scenario with Maglor and Tar-Minyatur! Maglor was wandering around the beach, only for Elros to sneak up on him and bring him back to Numenor. As for how Maglor was caught off-guard, I imagine Elros used a trading ship that Maglor was tracking in the hopes of doing some trade with humans, and he didn’t expect Elros to be there.

Then again, I think it’d be funnier if Elros appeared out of nowhere in his fancy king’s ship, and Maglor just stood on the beach staring at him like a dumb crab XDD

So here we have Yang and the fem!MC from Sifu, as usual! I think it's pretty self-explanatory given MC's backstory, but for those who don't know, MC loses her family at a young age (by Yang's doing) and appears to be the only one left alive. Their conversations in my fanfic are pretty much this in a nutshell loll

Was that mint? She took several breaths of it. Gradually, her head cleared, and the cacophony of noise and images faded away. She was in Fajar’s room. It was quiet here. And green. “Hm,” Fajar hummed, drawing her attention. You alright? he signed. “Yeah, I – I’m fine,” Yin said distantly. “I’m okay.” Looked like you were going to faint. Fajar squeezed her arms briefly. Yin winced, but the ache brought her closer down to earth. “It’s fine,” she said, rubbing her forehead. “It hasn’t happened in a long time.” She lowered her hand to her lap and felt the tickle of leaves against her fingers. Mint grew around her crossed legs, rising up past her elbows and brushing against her shoulders. The cooling aroma soothed her like a fresh breeze after a hot day. I was sad that some characters did not go to the 1st Maji Market. Hopefully we can see them this time.

I feel like Auni should have been allowed to go. He's just a kid and staying up once in a while is fine. Also, let Najuma have some sweets! Auni would sneak some treats from his mom's stall.

Really sad Hassian and Sifu didn't go. In this pic I imagined Hassian set up a Chapaa Environmental Awareness booth. However, Eshe would only approve of the booth if he made it more... approachable. Tau is handing out info pamphlets.

"Excuse me sir! That's my emotional support chapaa!" When Jina said the she wanted to go to the market but couldn't deal with the crowds, I felt that. They'd hang out by the chapaa petting zoo.
