For those that don't know, in TS4 you can tell when a sim is pregnant long before they throw up, you get the notification, or they take the pregnancy test.
How?
Just watch their bladder and hunger motives for a little bit immediately after woohoo. If there are more than one red motive down arrows without them doing anything special (like drinking something), for example they're just sitting on the couch watching a movie and you see two motive down arrows on bladder and two motive down arrows on hunger? That sim is pregnant.
This method has never failed me yet.
If you are playing some kind of Decades challenge and aren't allowed to use pregnancy tests, you can tell without having to wait a full day to find out if the woohoo took. 👍🏻

I had to do this once because what I needed didn't exist! And since I have no idea how to make poses, I decided to try the same thing. (i believe it was a sword fighting pose I used for this)
I saw a post where someone was tired of trying to pose with accessories. I totally understand, especially with all the different phones out there. I just stopped adding them.
I'm sure I'm not doing anything groundbreaking, but this is what I do as a storyteller, that's also maxis mix.
Here are some examples of objects I've Photoshopped. Sometimes I think of a scene after I'm in-game, and I don't want to go through all the motions of looking to see if I have the accessory. So, this comes in handy. Hope it helps.
PNGs are images without a background. I search for the object needed and use distort, skew, and perspective to adjust as needed. Then I flatten the layer and then run my actions so that it blends in.
Like I said, not anything groundbreaking, but you never know if it helps.

I know this might seem random, but I love all the record players in the game currently, I just hate that they're so bulky and big instead of a little tabletop record player. I was messing around and I put the record player from the Casanova Cave kit into the table that came from Peacemakers Living Room kit and it looks beautiful. Don't you think? there's no glitching. You just. need to use bb.moveobjects and you're good to go. You don't need to lift anything or raise anything or use the TOOL mod. And it looks like a record player is just chillin right on top of the console table. I don't know.. it was mind blowing to me. I figured I needed to share it.

Hi, I love building in my game and only recently starting doing it within the past 8 months but for some reason I find them quite lacking, like for some reason I don’t understand layouts, idk they always seem awkward to me. What do you use as references and how can I improve? Also if you don’t mind how do you take such great photos? Taking screenshots in my game have never seemed that impactful like yours do even with my reshade preset.
Hello Nonny,
Here comes a really long-winded answer because I'm overly procedural and detail oriented, lol. To improve your understanding of how to design layouts, I would recommend a combination of the following:
Before you build, figure out what architectural style you're going for, and then study some floorplans online to get a sense of how those homes are typically laid out. Here is a website that has thousands of floorplans for homes of many different sizes and architectural styles that you can familiarize yourself with.
Spend some time planning what rooms you know you want to include before you build. Decide if this home would suit an open concept, or a more traditional home layout when you are choosing which rooms need to be included.
Once you know how many rooms, then decide how large these need to be (I tend to think in terms of furniture placement). I always design my houses around the kitchen, living, and foyer/entrance space. These are the key areas that I enjoy decorating and are the focal points of the home, and once I have figured out the placement and footprint for these, the rest of the rooms come naturally. For example, it makes sense that a panty is located right next to the kitchen. It makes sense to put a formal dining area near the kitchen too, etc.
Always think about the way that rooms connect to each other in real life. Hallways. I was so terrible when I first started building at accepting that some of my floorplan is there just to connect sims to other areas of the home. Hallways are now some of my favorite things to make beautiful.
If you can, for fun, go to some open houses in your area. This is one of my favorite 'hobbies' — I'm lucky to live somewhere that has an annual parade of homes from high-end luxury builders, and I adore walking through and learning about the spaces they designed.
Practice makes progress. Don't be afraid to save your lot, name it version one, then start over and fix what isn't working. Saving an earlier version gets rid of the fear that you'll make things worse and not be able to get the original back!
Regarding Part II of your Question
Reshade aside, I pay a lot of attention to building to capitalize in-game lighting situations because this gives shots that extra umph of atmosphere. Then, I use the in-game camera the same way that I would a real camera. Focusing on details that would catch my eye if I were there in person, and using tab mode and the w, e, s, d keys to 'walk through' builds in a more first person perspective. This will help you see different and more interesting compositions for your screenshots.

How to change the creator ID in your game from your personal EA ID to a new one for sharing tray files
The usefulness of this is 1. You don't want your Tumblr/internet presence associated with your Origin ID, or 2. You sail the high seas
I have a question about sharing sims through tray files, if thats alright to ask here. Do you know if theres a way to share sims without your personal ea ID showing up? I've noticed when downloading other people's sims, sometimes the ID they used shows nothing when you click on it and you can't find it when searching on the gallery. I was thinking because of this maybe theres a way to change it in sims tray importer or some other program, but so far I haven't been able to figure it out.
i think for those who use a pirated game, their "origin" name won't show up. i'd think that's the only way around it.
i tried checking tray importer if there was a way to change your username on the file but no dice.
i'll reblog on main to see if anyone knows a way around this.

Playing The Sims 4 on the iPad Mini feels illegal, but I don’t care. Anyways if your curious how I did so, check out below 👇🏻
I installed the Steam Link app on the iOS device and follow the instructions in establishing the connection to my PC.
Since my copy of The Sims 4 and the DLCs are from the EA app, I just added TS4 as a non-Steam game in the settings.
I ran the Steam Link app from my iOS device and selected the game that’s in the library.
From there, I made adjustments on the graphic settings to ensure that I can see the UI layout clearly on the iPad Mini screen.
This is the method that works for me, but feel free to comment and/or share to others who might be interested in streaming their TS4 game onto their iOS device.

Watching YouTubers and Steamers, I've been surprised by the amount of TS4 Simmers that don't know that you don't need to click on your sim to reset them.
After all, if your sim is invisible and needs to be reset, how can you reset them if you have to click on them? You can't.
So for those that don't know, if you use the CTRL + Shirt + C to bring up the cheat box, and then type in resetsim firstname lastname and it will do the same as shift clicking to reset your sim.
If you're not sure what exactly I mean, if you're playing as Bella Goth, what you'd do is write exactly this in the cheat box:
resetsim bella goth
And it will work. You can also capitalize the first and last name, but it doesn't need to be for it to work. Also, you'll know if you wrote it wrong because the cheat box will tell you that it couldn't find a sim with that name. I hope this helps anyone who didn't know about this cheat.
