I've been rp and fic writing in the HP fandom off and on for over a decade on various platforms, and I've just recently come back to it. It’s well known that only those with fae blood can have insect or arachnid animagi. One of the most notable being the half-fae Rita Skeeter. But what happens in an after school elective (it’s an program run by Professor McGonagall for 7th years on how to find their animagi) when both Tom and Harry turn into an orbed weaver and a monarch butterfly, respectively? The Potter heir and the Slytherin mudblood — who would’ve guessed.
