I started following you because of your beautiful gifs, I think at the time I started following you you weren't posting your edits yet, but then you started posting them and I was literally mesmerized by your talent and creativity. even though I can see that you have a style (like, I always feel like I can recognize your edits from afar) you always manage to do something totally different. I feel that sometimes it can be very hard for some people who have a style to always innovate with their editing style, but you are one of those talented people who can do it. one masterpiece after another. besides your talent, what made me love finding out about your blog and following you was your sweet and nice personality. you're an amazing person and friend. we've already had some chats that made me so happy to have the opportunity to meet someone like you here. you are one of those special people who made my experience in our fandom better. and you are a great friend. I feel like you give me the opportunity to say whatever I want to you and you will listen to me. I'm just really sorry for not being a good friend and not knowing how to hold a conversation.

She looked out the window while she was lying next to him in bed. Him - sound asleep, dreaming.

It was getting later at night, which meant - most likely, the earlier parts of the morning were right around the corner, waiting just to happen.

It was the time when everything is quiet at around 4 am except for that one bird, soundly chirping away at nothing in the sky, wide awake just as she'd been. No explanation except that her heart had been full with gladness.

She would have gotten up by now to wander off to the kitchen, had it not been for his arms so tightly wound around her frame. His head resting deeply on her chest, and the palm of her hand, coming round to meet him there.

"I love you", she whispered, pressing a kiss to his forehead. The big tree outside, rustling softly in the wind.

A storm had been coming, causing the leaves to fall, or change shape. He smiled next to her, humming to himself softly.

"You're...nice to me." He whispers between steady breathing. His chest bare with warmth pressed against her body.

The covers began to slip as she tried to turn over on her side, her legs and feet, tired all day from walking and swimming. Most weekends were full for them in the summertime. Tomorrow - she thought, should be a quieter day. Less noise and comings and goings; hopefully. And, maybe there would even be a little rain.

But, if there was ever going to be a "tomorrow" here at all, then she would just have to go to sleep already.

If only her mind would turn itself off for a few hours to rest. If only his nose hadn't been buried in her hair from behind her.

Until then, with her heart beating the slightest bit fast, she'd still been wide awake. Dreaming with her eyes open. Laying in the dark quietly.

Turns out this Monday falls just about at the 1 year anniversary of when I started my Just Plane Monday art practice. With that in mind, I wanted to look back at some of my favorite planes and express my gratitude to everyone who has followed along on this journey—thank you so much! I don’t know that this would exist without you all. I’ve drawn a lot of planes in the last year, so many more than a year’s worth of Mondays 😅 but there’s something very special about Mondays now—they’re no longer my most dreaded day of the week! I actually really look forward to the challenge; finding a new perspective or model, pushing color values beyond my comfort zone. Whatever it may be, I can see how my art has developed a lot in such a short span of time and it excites me.
