your recent viktor piece is absolutely stunning !!! please be as self indulgent as you wish. i hope there are people that are just as obsessed with both the spiderverse AND arcane as much as i am and will get to see your work. your art is always so wonderful :)
There actually, surprisingly, are a lot of people that like both, which is just so wonderful! Most of my fellow Arcane artist I follow on twitter are also drawing Spiderverse stuff right now and it was kind of a meme for a while that Miguel looks exactly like a mix of Jayce and Viktor (and they're literally so right lmao)
But yeah, switching fandoms is always kinda tricky, but I'm so grateful you guys don't seem to mind and are so supportive too! I literally couldn't ask for more 🥹❤️ I'm really glad you like my work!

Imagine Nico, Mordechai, and Viktor with an S/O that is an artist.
Nico would constantly be hyping you up and wanting you to draw/paint him. He would even offer to model for you!
Mordechai would support you but also ask that you try to keep your area clean. He hates messes. He would push you to submit your work to local art galleries cause he wants you to succeed.
Viktor would love watching you. The quiet that fills the air between you while you work feels so peaceful to him. But he wouldn't like you painting him, he would tell you to paint something beautiful instead and get flustered when you tell him that he is beautiful.
These are all facts and I agree with every single one of them.
Tumblr media
Nico bragging to anyone that will listen { even ones that wont } about how amazing you are. The Marigold Gang members are tired of it but they're to scared to even say anything but they are impressed with how much talent you have.
Nico that makes his boss Atlas buy your work because you deserve all the recognition in the world,he's so proud of you.
Would be up for a little fun with the paints, Nico wouldn't say no to painting you.
Mordecai who is in awe of your artwork but will mostly stay silent about it. { He's never been good at conveying his emotions }
Keep's the first thing you drew for him in his wallet, while its small Mordecai treasures it. He doesn't know what he'd do if he lost it.
Turned his once clean office space, into your own art space. Mordecai knows that you do your best but it is hard so at least now you have your own space that can be a mess.
Know's you won't submit your own art work so he does it himself, Mordecai knows you deserve it.
Viktor is touched when you use him as any inspiration. He doesn't understand why you would ever want to paint him.
Is very at peace when you paint, Viktor feel's at peace when he's with you.
Keep's everything you paint for him on his wall, Viktor will reluctantly give one to Ivy or Mitiz a painting for free.
Rocky will have to buy one.
Viktor will do his best to get your name out there though he may end up sound like you're threatening them.
Mordecai end's up helping the man when he begrudgingly ask's

Can You Hear My Heartbeat Chapter 35
"The Eros off-ice programme"
Summary:
“You wanted me to be Eros. But you and I, we’re beyond Eros on Ice now.” To show Viktor how much he stole him from the world, Yuuri comes up with a performance of which he hopes that it will sweep Viktor away for good.
“There you are,” Viktor said when Yuuri returned from the hot spring. He was wearing that green yukata and it was distracting Yuuri. He wound his arm around Yuuri and drew him close. “I went looking for you when Makkachin and I returned, but when you still hadn’t shown up after I bathed, I started to worry.”
“Sorry. I went to the rink.” Yuuri knew he was late because on the way home he had stopped by a drugstore. “I… um…” His cheeks exploded with heat. Why was the same thing suddenly so much more difficult when done off-ice? “I had to figure something out.”
Relief was replaced by concern. “Yuuri, are you all right?”
Yuuri nodded. “This was important to me, so don’t spoil it, Viktor.”
The blue of Viktor’s eyes deepened as he frowned. “Will you tell me about it?”
Instead of giving a reply, Yuuri took Viktor’s hand and pulled him to the stairs. Uttering a noise of surprise, Viktor followed him. In his room, Yuuri pushed the door shut, wrapped his arms around Viktor and kissed him, inhaling the familiar scents that felt like home to him. He had meant the kiss to be gentle, but his body was still singing with the emotions from the rink and Yuuri yearned to revive them by winding his tongue around Viktor’s. Hands seized him and steered him across the room. Yuuri’s butt hit the desk and he hopped onto it.
“Yuuri…”
Before Viktor could say more, Yuuri had grabbed the collar of his yukata and kissed him again. The grip around his waist tightened as Viktor kissed him back. Their hands moved over their bodies in endless yearning, slipping under T-shirts and into bathrobes. Suddenly, Yuuri was bent backwards and Viktor’s mouth caressed his stomach and—was that his tongue? Gods! An inarticulate sound, escaped Yuuri’s throat. His crotch woke with an acute throbbing.
Viktor is mine. And I want him to know how much he's mine.

The Bottom Of The Inkwell [Chapter 4]
Pairing: Viktor x fem!Reader Chapter Rating: T Chapter Warning: some swearing Proofread: no beta we die like men Chapter Summary: Your classes begin to get stressful, and Viktor does not make it easier on you. However, you finally convince him to meet up outside of class, and you strike a deal with him.
The first week in class is startlingly stressful. Not because you’re failing to understand the material, or because the curriculum is moving too quickly. No, you’re stressed because you’ve wasted a quarter of your precious project time, trying to get your partner to so much as speak to you.
Every day since being assigned to one another, you’ve asked him to meet up. You’ve been friendly, and you’ve been patient, and Viktor has made excuse after excuse to not continue the conversation.
When you spoke to him at the end of the class, he always says he has somewhere to be in a timely manner - so you’d started asking about it before the lesson began.
But then he would make up other reasons as to why he couldn’t keep talking - needing to go over his notes before the professor came in, or even just outright telling you that he didn’t have the time to talk right at that moment.
And then of course, he’d disappeared as soon as you’d all been dismissed from the lesson.
By friday, you know he’s purposefully ignoring you. You know he doesn’t have any classes after the second, because that’s when the cafeteria was open to everyone attending the university - including professors.
You never saw him eating lunch anywhere, so you wonder if maybe he really does have somewhere to be…but you highly doubt it. Why wouldn’t he just give you a time slot that worked for him, if that was the case? It’s as though he’s not even trying to cooperate with you, and you don’t care what his reasoning is: you’re frustrated.
“Hey, Viktor?” you call his name, while you both pack up your belongings after class.
You can see his shoulders fall slightly when you address him, but he pauses nonetheless, and turns towards you. “Yes?”
“Ah…well. We only have three weeks left until our project is due, and…” you don’t know why you’re suddenly so flustered, “We really need to get started on it. I don’t think we can’t recover from the lost time, but we really, really need to get going if we want to finish on time.”
He stares at you for a couple seconds. His expression is mostly unreadable, though you can’t help feeling as though he’s judging you - it might just be his face, but something in his eyes is screaming disdain, and it fills you with an uncomfortable, simmering rage.
“I’ve already drafted some designs,” he finally replies, glancing back towards his things as he starts to carefully slide them into his bookbag. “So all we need to do is-”
“Pardon me?”
Your overly cheerful tone must take him by surprise, because his entire body freezes as soon as the words leave your mouth. You watch as he processes what you’ve said, and you can see each emotion pass over his face - shock, annoyance, frustration, annoyance again.
He eventually settles for impatience, and glares at you from the corner of his eye. “I drew up some blueprints during the week-”
You’re having none of it.
“That’s what I thought you said,” you interrupt again, the pit in your stomach growing heavier. “You’re aware this is a team effort, right?”
He opens his mouth to reply, but you hold your hand up. “No, you’re going to listen. I know we don’t know each other, and I know this isn’t the most ideal situation, but it is what it is. I don’t want you to do all the work, okay?”
But instead of diffusing the situation, your words only seem to fan the flames, earning you a sharp sigh of frustration from your partner.
“Why does it matter?” he snips, “You’d still be getting a good grade, so-”
“Because I want to have an input!” you hiss, knocking your fist hard on your desk. “This is my class as much as it is yours, and I have just as much a right to learn as you do! I’m not going to sit on my ass and ride your coattails while you make all the decisions!”
For a good ten seconds, he looks as though he wants to argue. His jaw is tight and there is a bright fury behind his honey brown eyes - mirrored in equal intensity by your own.
But for the first time since meeting him, he decides not to fight you on something.
“Fine,” he grumbles, standing up and snatching his cane from where it leans against his desk. “I’ll bring my drawings, and we can decide which design to make-”
“That’s not what I-”
“Tomorrow at noon, in the library. Do not be late.”
And then he strides away, leaving you to cope with the aftermath of your anger.
By the end of the day, your annoyance has simmered down into pure, unbridled rage. Never in your life have you wanted to yell at someone so badly as you want to yell at Viktor, never have you wanted to knock your fist on someone’s head as you want to do with him. He is, without a single iota of doubt, the most infuriating person you’ve ever met.
You storm into your dorm and throw you bag on your bed, stomping right over to your desk to where you keep your journal.
I’m going to strangle my partner, V. I’m going to kill him, and I’m going to do it with my own two hands.
I’ve never known either of us to be violent people, but I’m inclined to agree with your sentiment. What happened?
You take a couple minutes to work on slowing your heart rate down, taking deep, measured breaths. It takes a little longer than usual, but eventually the tension begins to seep from your shoulders, and you’re able to slouch a little more comfortably in your chair.
He must think I’m stupid, and I have no idea what gave him that impression. He avoids talking to me at all costs, and then he goes and makes decisions on my behalf, as if I’m completely incapable of speaking for myself! Or as if my opinion doesn’t matter! As if I’m just meant to sit there and look pretty!
That sounds concerningly narcissistic. Have you mentioned it to him? Or to your professor?
There’s no point in saying anything to our teacher, since we’re not allowed to change partners. I tried to say something to the guy today, though, and he just. Cut me off! Completely spoke over and me and just told me how things were going to happen. And then he fucked off before I could say anything else. V, I’ve never wanted to hit someone before, but I’m getting real close to popping this asshole in the jaw.
Try not to get too excited about it - physical altercations will go on your permanent record.
I’m calm, I’m calm. Ruining his stupid pretty face isn’t worth losing my education over. Besides, if I get expelled, my parents would have a heyday - they’d be so fucking thrilled if they got to shove suitors down my throat years earlier then they planned. Wait - no ew, that sounds gross, ignore how I phrased that.
Hah. Hold on, though, suitors? You’ve never said anything about your parents wanting to marry you off - I thought you were going to school so you could thrive on your own?
Veeeee, that’s not what I want to talk about. What did your partner do?
Don’t avoid the question.
We can talk about my mother’s desire to hook me up with some snotty prick another time - I want to gossip!
Very well, but I’m putting a bookmark in this conversation. Now if you must know, my partner is an airhead - I told you that already. She’s pushy and noisy, and it’s incredibly frustrating that she doesn’t listen to what I’m trying to say. Like she doesn’t even want to hear the ideas that I have.
I can smack both our partners, if you’d like?
While I appreciate the gesture, I’d much rather get through this semester with as few injuries as possible.
Boringggggg. Still, I’m sorry she isn’t paying attention to you. If we were partners, I bet we’d get along better - we already work so well together in writing. I’m glad we have each other to complain to. I don’t know what I’d do if I had to keep all the stress in.
Likewise - I would much prefer working with you. But it is what it is, so we’re stuck with who we’ve got.
Keep your head up, V. You’re brilliant, and you should be heard - I know your partner will figure it out eventually. She can’t be so clueless, if she managed to pass the entrance exams. Just hang in there.
One can only hope. Talk to you tomorrow?
Of course. Sleep well!
Goodnight, dear.
You carefully clean the excess ink off the tip of the pen, and set it delicately back into its cushioned box. You keep the silver piece hidden within a lockable door in the desk - you’re not entirely sure you were meant to get into it in the first place, but V had taught you years ago how to pick a simple keyhole.
You sigh deeply, drowsiness clouding the edges of your mind despite the fact that the sun was only just beginning to set. You couldn’t go to bed yet - though you’re emotionally tired, you know that as soon as you lay down, you’re going to be wide awake.
The last thing you want to be doing is laying there in the dark and quiet, with nothing but your thoughts to keep you occupied.
Instead, you pull out your other notebooks -the ones you use for class work- as well as a couple loose pieces of blank paper.
If Viktor had some designs already drafted, then you weren;t going to show up to your meeting empty handed. Maybe his ideas were good, maybe they weren’t, but you weren’t going to just sit back and let him decide on something that should be done by the both of you.
You don’t care what his beef with you is: you’re going to get him to hear you, one way or another.
When you wake the next morning, it’s to the delightfully awful chirping of your alarm clock. And, as per usual, the moment you reach out to smack it, it quickly rolls away from you and starts dancing across the floor.
You hated that stupid thing.
But you’re thankful for the extra three hours of sleep that the weekend had allowed you, so it’s less of a chore to haul yourself out of bed to chase the contraption around.
Once it’s silent, you wander into your little bathroom to get ready for the day - fixing your hair after a night of tossing and turning, and brushing your teeth to get rid of the film coating your mouth. You decide to opt out of having a shower, since you’d had one the evening prior, and instead slap on deodorant and a couple spritzes of perfume.
You’re excited that you don’t have to wear your uniform for once, though, getting tired of the same outfit after only a week of wearing it. There were only so many skirts and trousers that you could pair with the somewhat unflattering vest, and all the combinations were plain and repetitive.
You’d dearly missed your lavender blouses and brightly coloured shorts.
After dressing, it doesn’t take long for you to collect all the work you’d done the night before, folding each drawing into a tidy square to neatly pack beside your notebook. You toss your pencil case into one of the side pockets, and slide the shoulder strap across your body, and you’re ready to go.
You arrive at the library fifteen minutes before you’re meant to be there.
You had debated being perfectly on time so that Viktor couldn’t say a word against you, but in the end you didn’t want to risk cutting in so close. In the event that you were late, you knew you’d never hear the end of it from him.
It doesn’t take you long to locate him, tucked away at a quiet desk amongst the bookshelves. He’s surrounded by papers and textbooks, hunched forward in his chair and looking as though he’s already been set up there for hours.
“I’m surprised you managed to get a spot so late in the day,” you say quietly as you walk up to him and take a seat at his side. You try to keep your tone light and neutral - as nonthreatening as possible, lest you have a repeat of yesterday.
“I’ve been here since nine,” Viktor says, barely even looking up from his notes as he scribbles down something from an encyclopedia propped up in front of him. You can’t even tell what his letters say, they’re so hastily scratched into the page.
“I could have come earlier,” you mumble, guilt momentarily rising up in your throat. “I feel bad making you wait for so long.”
“I don’t mind having the time to study on my own,” he replies, and finally sets his pencil down to face you.
You set your bag down on the floor by your feet, and pull out your necessary equipment. “We might as well get right to it,” you say, “if that’s alright with you. What did you have in mind for our project?”
To your surprise, Viktor actually lights up when you mention the subject, and something akin to a smile tugs at his lips. He’s quick to pull out several of his sketches, explaining each of them to you as he slides them your way.
And you have to admit, they’re brilliant. Not only do they showcase what you’d been learning in the class thus far, they also had other purposes - things that would make them applicable to daily scenarios. You know that he’s intended them to have a use beyond that of a simple project, and you find his dedication and ingenuity quite admirable.
But…
“What?” Viktor grumbles, when he sees your brows pinch together by a fraction. “Are they not good enough?”
“Stop putting words in my mouth,” you say softly, trying your damnedest to be patient with him. “I actually think these are incredible ideas, but they’re complex. Not to mention, they’re experimental. Look, here, at these parts you used,” you point to a couple pieces attached to a small motor, “you can’t get these parts in Piltover.”
“We can get them in-”
“The undercity,” you finish for him, “I know. But we’ll get in huge shit for that, and we’ll likely receive a failing grade.”
You lean against the desk, and stare down at the drawings with a sigh. “We only have three weeks left, Viktor. These are fantastic concepts, but the fact is that we don’t have enough time left in order to build, test, and perfect something so convoluted.”
You can see the disappointment in his eyes, though you’re grateful that he’s less hostile than he had been the afternoon prior. You hope that he’d just been having an off day, or an off week, and that things would be turning around - you wanted to be able to work with him as efficiently as possible.
“What do you suggest, then?” he asks, fixing you with a tired look.
You quickly flip through the pages in your notebook, until you come across the detailed concepts you’d written out last night, paired with the drawing that you unfold from your bag. “Something like this,” you say, sliding it towards him. “It’s nowhere near as flashy as yours, but it has the same base purpose.”
And then, all at once, the air between you shifts.
What had moments ago been tentatively inquisitive, is now ostensibly offended.
You have no idea what you said.
“What purpose?” he hisses, glaring at you. “This is a perpetual motion machine - a desk toy. What could our ideas possibly have in common?”
Ah.
You think you get it.
“Viktor,” you murmur, slouching back in your chair, “I know you want to do something big, and important, that will make things better. But we’re first year students. We’re not meant to make waves yet. The purpose of these projects is to show that we understand the material, so that one day we can do big things.”
You scowls and turns his gaze from you, crossing his arms across his chest like some kind of tall child throwing a tantrum.
“I’m not saying you can never build this,” you tell him softly, reaching out to rest your hand on his shoulder, “In fact, I think you should. I think it could be useful for a lot of people in a lot of situations. But there’s a time and place for it, and the first project of our first semester in our first year of school isn’t it. Please, Viktor?”
You stare at him with your most endearing puppy eyes - the very same expression that had made your parents cave into your whims year after year. Adorable, pleading, sweet.
You stare at him until her relents.
Until he sharply exhales and rolls his eyes at you.
“Fine,” he grumbles, “but we’re going with one of my designs for the next project.”
“Are you going to make it overly-” He presses his hand over your mouth, effectively silencing you.
“We go with yours this time, and mine next time. Deal, or no?”
You try to speak around his hand, but you’re unable to utter a word.
“Deal, or no?” he says again.
You know he’s going to make a complete ass out of himself if you refuse his suggestion - he’ll be hostile to work with, if not outright impossible.
So, in silence, you hold your hand out to shake on it, and he finally releases you.
“Deal.”

omfg can i say i love your viktor & allison takes so much
it’s been so frustrating being in the tua fandom having both viktor & allison as my top faves where too many people completely woobify viktor & demonize allison to hell and back
it’s kind of frustrating with viktor especially because you can at least blame the audience take away of allison in s3 on the writers doing stuff like focusing on a drunk five montage instead of allison’s pov but s1 is right there and apparently so many people’s take aways from it was “viktor is poor baby that must be protected” despite the fact that he is a 30 year old grown man tht was very clearly being an ass
and it’s confusing to me like, 1) what drew me to viktor and made him my fav was the fact that he’s kind of an ass, like I can’t remember if it was the cabin scene or the viktor bringing down the mansion scene but i saw that and was like “holy shit he’s an asshole, i have to watch this for him”
2) premise of tua is literally dysfunctional asshole siblings are dysfunctional because of their trauma but that’s no excuse esp because their actions are literally causing apocalypses and they have to learn to heal both individually as a family and once they do so the apocalypses will stop (probably)
I think for some people that when they strongly identify with a character, their natural self-serving bias pops up and wants to protect the character because they feel like they're protecting themselves. So I get where it comes from. People have been sanitizing their faves and bashing anyone remotely mean to them for as long as fandom has been around, probably.
Klaus compares Viktor to Carrie White in s3. Whether that was the inspiration for Viktor or not (which would make a ton of sense--Vanya in the comics is far more actively complicit in the end of the world, whereas Viktor seems to kind of go into a trance the way Sissy Spacek's Carrie does), it's extremely apt.
I've heard it said Stephen King has become so iconic because most of the "monsters" in his books are humans. As much as you feel for Carrie and want her to have a better lot in life, at the end of the day, she is the monster of this horror story. Her mother and her bullies are all more evil than she is, but they didn't massacre pretty much everyone at a high school dance. Especially with Spacek's portrayal, you almost feel like it wasn't Carrie's fault. It was out of character for her, and after everything she's endured, it makes sense if she got a power rush and literally burned everything to the ground.
Viktor is similarly the monster, or in this genre the supervillain, of s1. It's done incredibly well, too. By the time you've fully followed his arc up to when he snaps, it makes so much sense for him to lose it that it doesn't really even feel like mass murder. Like with Carrie, you've identified with this character's pain so much, you're kind of rooting for a cathartic power trip. The writing is so good that when a character does something unforgivable, you forgive it almost before it happens.
So it really does feel like a disservice to the character when people sanitize Viktor. As if you can only justify identifying with this character if they are a good person. Identifying with the monster doesn't make you a bad person. In fact, it was the writer's goal. Fighting it means you're not getting as much out of the story as you could be, and the message the author is trying to convey won't hit as hard. Viktor has a very real dark side, and it's always going to be a threat to the people around him. And yet he is gentle and soft-spoken, and tries to be a good person. These two things exist in the same character, which is how it happens in real life. When it happens in fiction, the audience can safely explore their own dark side. That's damn good writing.

Taps fingers shyly,,, can i request 4 Caregiver Jayce and regressor Viktor headcanons? I luv them lots and i dunno i think Viktor deserves the break nd it allows Jayce to relax with something he’s more familiar with 🥺
a/c: of course firelight! i love them a lot too; jayce as viktor’s caregiver is so sweet, this baby boy desperately needs to rest and know he's so so loved (-。-)。。。zzZ (this basically turned into a bulleted fic but i hope you enjoy nonetheless, just very long headcanons!)
slight cw and spoiler for the series: mention of nightmares and detailed descriptions of rio when she was experimented on!
dynamic: cg! jayce x regressor! viktor
Tumblr media
jayce had already been very familiar with what it was like for viktor to constantly push himself over the edge, especially when it came to his work
it would start with small gestures: viktor would wake up in his lab with a soft blanket draped over his back, or swear that he could feel a firm hand running gently over his scruffy hair.
there was a small, warm feeling of knowing that there was someone looking out for him but would shrug it off in pursuit of his research
jayce, on the other hand, had always been too upfront about his feelings; he couldn't identify the word for it. he knew that taking care of viktor was something that always weighed on his mind. he thought of viktor's well-being, his shared goals and motivations, just him.
it would take for viktor to truly break in front of jayce for him to realize just how deeply his companion has neglected himself, and that it were necessary to intervene
viktor shot out of bed, his heart racing against the heaviness of his breath. it was another nightmare, the mutation screeching for him to save her. wires and tubes sucking out her very life force, as he could only watch in horror. "the mutation must survive." the scene's perspective were too large for it to be the height he were at now. no, it were a memory of the past.
the scientist grabbed his chest, gasping for air. his eyes were still adjusting to the world around him, yet nothing made sense. there was a subconscious frustration to his fear, he hadn't made any progress with the hexcore, and he was running out of time.
his small frame shook inside the empty room from the overwhelming feelings. frustration welled in his throat, choking back the tears the best that they could.
when his eyes followed up to the picture of rio that he drew during his youth, he crumbled under the surface.
jayce was already on his way to do his nightly check-up, hearing soft sniffles from inside the tall lacquered door, he nearly tore it off its hinges.
he could hear... babbling? unintelligible sobs as the frail frame of the man before him rose and fell with each wave of emotion.
he let viktor feel everything that he needed to, asking consent to touch his shoulder and bending down to eye level.
it would take a while before the heavy breath steadied and the world around him came into view
jayce gave him all the time he needed, waiting for a moment of silence to ask him what troubled him so deeply.
viktor would only explain in the briefest of details; jayce had his own problems, he was a councilor, after all, and it was silly to concern him with things that have long since been.
instead of falling into the habit of prying for answers, jayce tugged viktor into an embrace
viktor felt the compacted frame of jayce's body against his own. it was comforting and strong. jayce could hold the whole weight of his problems in his arms, and he fell into the touch.
for the rest of the night viktor was not to move a muscle, jayce fluffed his pillows, made him a warm drink, and propped himself into a chair.
the councilor's hands glided over the pages of his journal, speaking over each event of the day; he discussed the meetings, the piltover citizens he met, and the orders to the enforcers that he gave.
viktor propped himself upright into his bed, tilting the ceramic mug and swirled it in his palms to combine its contents, he couldn't help but look into its murky reflection. this time, seeing himself, he couldn't help but notice the difference in feeling. there was no disgust, there was no frustration. it was just indifferent to him.
there were no thoughts plaguing him, his mind too foggy to differentiate, it was only recognition to the feeling that he was tired. it was time to sleep.
the younger of the two was satisfied to witness the success in his methods to calm his companion, a sigh of relief to see the delicate hand slowly release his lock on the mug. jayce would slowly pull the nightcap away and help viktor into the embrace of his pillows, smirking at the peaceful expression that remained.
at first, upon exiting the room, he contemplated the events of the night. the incoherent noises muttered, and the relaxed state that viktor was in was unlike anything that he had seen before. it was almost child-like in nature, and the way he was completely accepting of jayce's care brought his own warm feeling into his chest.
being able to spoil viktor like he did helped jayce to keep his mind off of the endless responsibilities that clouded his mind. jayce believed that it was beneficial for the two of them to continue a similar nightly routine. for now, he would not be the trigger for another abrupt awakening, they would just have to discuss it in the morning.

My second fic y'all. Wrote it in an hour. Please excuse if any punctuation mistakes are present.
IDK how many word. An/ also Romione set in Deathly hollows.
Perfect
It was the night of Bill and Fleur's wedding. She walked into the tent looking like an angel. Hermione. That's when he knew he was done for. He knew it was ridiculous to be thinking about angels when they could be attacked at any second. The way her brown curls framed her face and the way she smiled made him forget about Horcruxes or the war though. Her dress is what made her look like a real angel though, ethereal and beautiful. As the night when on, though, other men seemed to think she was looked like an angel as well. Especially Viktor Krum. Ron's mind went blank when he saw them dancing. Without realizing it, he ended up close. enough to hear their voices.
"You look very beautiful tonight, Her-my-own," said Krum.
"Thank you, Viktor," Hermione's cheeks were turning red. She wasn't used to compliments like that. She usually only got compliments on her intelligence.
Before they could continue though, Ron interrupted.
"Hermione, can I talk to you for a second?"
She looked confused, but bade Viktor goodbye and followed Ron. He didn't know why he was going outside of the tent, but his legs were moving of their own accord. Instead, his mind was focused on their hands. He had grabbed Hermione's hand on instinct, and she folded her hand within his. His stomach did a flip. 17 years old, but a girl holding my hand makes me get bloody butterflies, he thought. They stopped a little way from the tent. He realized that she was looking at him expectantly. He remembered he had asked to talk to her. He racked his brain, trying to think of something to say, but he drew a blank.
"Ron, what did you want to talk about? Are you okay?" Hermione's face showed that she was worried now.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just thought that maybe—do you want to dance?" He suddenly blurted out.
Hermione looked shocked. Great, he thought, now I've really messed it up. To his surprise though, Hermione moved closer and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her face had softened and she looked happy. The music from the party had turned slow.
"I thought you'd never ask," she smiled.
That smile took him back to when they were kids. All the times they had fought and yet he still had ended up falling for her, hard. He never thought that he would fall for someone so young, but he had. Her arms tightening around his neck brought him back to the present. She had moved closer and he had wrapped his arms around her waist. It comforted him, knowing that she was there. It gave him hope about the war, about fighting against all odds. He looked into her eyes. He didn't want to risk losing her, like he had almost done countless times, by being a bloody git. He knew she was the woman he needed and wanted in life. He knew that he wanted to be with her forever, to build a life with her. He felt that he didn't deserve her, but the way she leaned into him and continue to hug him tighter let him know that she felt differently.
The music had turned to an upbeat tempo again. The guests had become louder once more.
"You look perfect. You are perfect," he whispered.
He thought she didn't hear him. There was no way she could over the sound of the celebration, but she suddenly pulled away. She looked at him for a minute, maybe longer. He couldn't remember because at that moment he felt her lips on his. It was gentle and it poured all her love towards him. He got over his shock and kissed her back. It was sweet and slow, it was everything they both had wanted since their fourth year. One hand cupped her cheek, and the other went into her hair. Her hands reached up to touch the nape of his neck. He felt her shiver and chills went down his own spine. It wasn't even cold, he wasn't even cold. She warmed his heart. She warmed his entire being. Everything about the war, every stupid thing he had ever done, faded out of his mind. Right now, in this moment with this perfect angel, he was content.

@zaaun asked: ❛ how do you know my name?
“Mmm, I read the paper. You know because Zaunites can read down there and also go to school like everyone in topside.” From behind the carved mask the Firelight leader studies the thin, dark haired man in from his perch up on his hoverboard, keeping as close to the window as possible in case he needed to make a hasty exit. “We just don’t have fancy ones like you do up here.”
It was simple curiosity that drew Ekko to the heart of the academy, the so called birthplace of science and progress everyone whispered about and idolized so highly. Security wasn’t as tight as he thought it’d be. The corridor may have stretched for miles and the numerous empty rooms and research labs left him in disgust than envy that he originally walked in here with. Stumbling upon one particular room with the only occupant inside was mere serendipity right when he was ready to leave. The various research notes and blueprints tacked to the board on the wall had the bold letters reading JAYCE and a few signed with the name VIKTOR was dead give away.
His hoverboard whirrs quietly as he guides it forward, crouching down on it now. “The harder you try to keep yourself small... the bigger you seem. You’re always in the background in photos of Tallis. You’re obviously his partner here.. and maybe the brains, too.”
He points his bat to one of the glowing blue objects mounted on a metal table. “You shouldn’t be messing with that... Things you don’t understand... It could probably create new problems instead of solving them.” The Firelight scoffs. “Not that you would actually care about fixing the actual problems existing right under your nose... But what do I know, right? I’m just a trencher... So blow yourself up or don’t. Night, pilitie.”

Without waiting for a reply, Ekko urges his board forward and he takes off back through the open doors and down the near pitch black corridors.

It can be headcanons, drabble, whatever you feel like making and if you ever need more ideas I have more stuff into my secret prompt stash~☆
:: Puppy eyes. Viktor
Tumblr media
── viktor x gn!reader
── synopsis: he was never one to be vocal on affection, maybe he can find a way to ask that he wants affection
── a/n: HIII!! Thank you smmmm for requesting sorry if it took me a while to get it done! But ahh this request is sooo cute like literally crying and sobbing as i was working on this!! Sending my loves to you and viktor (っ•◡•)っ 💚
Tumblr media
You, on the other hand, opted to keep Viktor company and provide extra assistance because he was busy as usual. He enjoyed your company because it made him feel less lonely; of course, Jayce was present, but his council position takes up a lot of his time. He's especially preoccupied with Mel.
So it was just you and him.
Viktor couldn't help but be fascinated of your beauty. Your eyes danced over the lines, reading every word, as you were so focused on the book you were reading. Your gorgeous stare drew him in. His heart was bursting at the seams as he dreamed about you.
"Viktor, you're staring at me again, is something wrong love?" You inquire as you set down your book. You dragged your chair over to sit next to him.
“O-oh I was?” His face beating red.
“Viktor, what’s on your mind dear?”
"Nothing, sorry for the inconvenience.  I apologize if I seemed to be looking at you, but I'm alright. There's no need to be concerned." You couldn't help but offer him a kiss on the cheek after he comforted you with a little smile.
But in truth, he was yearning for your warmth and to be held in your arms as you two sat and watched the world go by. But the truth is, he couldn't say anything since he was afraid of disturbing you from your work. He was left to imagine himself in your arms, singing him a pleasant melody, the loving tune coming from your voice. Relaxing in a bed with the dark blue sky above you completes the picture. He could just picture it easily.
You were still seated on the comfy couch, reading the book you had in your hand, but you glanced aside just to catch a glimpse of Viktor. He was staring at you again, but this time it wasn't his typical stare; he needed something. It scared you for a moment because he has trouble expressing himself at times. You gave him a puzzled expression, but he continued to give you the cute sleepy puppy eyes. His posture was a dead giveaway that he was tired and wanted a rest. So, to summarize, you're still attempting to figure things out.
"What's up with the tired puppy eyes, Love?" You laughed as you set the book on the table beside the couch. You started walking towards him, touching his cheek and kissing him on the forehead once more.
“How’s the work doing, any progress?” You smiled.
"It needs a few modifications, but for now it's operating nicely."
"Viktor, if you don't mind, I'd want to ask you another question. Is everything all right because you keep giving me that tired puppy look? You can tell me if you need anything." You murmured softly, your thumb pinching his cheek as you gave him a kind soothing glance. You can't help but enjoy his appearance, the way his unkempt hair frames his face, the way his two beauty marks enhance his appeal; you adore everything about him. He was perfect, too perfect for you. And you just looked at him lovingly.
"How about we take a break?" You smiled softly, your hand slipping from his face and making its way to his emptied hand.
“I like that.”
You and Viktor lay down on the unoccupied couch.Viktor on top of you, his head on your chest, as he lays closer to you. You started playing with his soft, unkempt hair the way he imagined. As the evening went, he felt comfortable, with all of the stress in his body dissipating. It was just you and him; at the very least, he doesn't have to imagine how you felt. Soft snores were now filling the quiet room, and there he was sleeping peacefully. Before closing your eyes and allowing the warmth and darkness to take over, you began to admire his resting state one last time.

Viktor x GN!Reader
Synopsis: Tests suck. That's it, that's the plot.
A/N: Ha ha so funny story: I dropped the two fics I've been working on for three days to prioritize this one, which popped in my head on the way to work. Currently typing this before I pass out from sleep deprivation.
Tumblr media
It's honestly unfair.
You complained internally as your cheek pressed on the scattered notes on the desk. The equations were written neatly and legibly, as expected of you, yet you're having a difficult time understanding anything.
You've long accepted the importance of letters in mathematics when they taught algebra. You didn't even blink when a whole foreign alphabet was included in physics and organic chemistry. But requiring a page worth of derivatives to prove just ONE scientific theory - seriously, who the fuck came up with this stuff? - is where you drew the line.
The sound of chalk writing distracted you from your thoughts. If your notes were bad enough, then looking at the chalkboard immediately gave you a headache. You focused your attention on the lean figure instead. His eyebrows were furrowed in concentration, sketching and scribbling in a fast pace, as if advanced engineering is the simplest and most interesting thing in the world. Knowing him, it probably was. You glared half-heartedly at his back.
Stupid, amazing Viktor and his stupid, amazing mind.
Sensing your eyes on him, Viktor turned around and gave you a soft smile. Suddenly you felt a little bit of stress vanish. Dropping the chalk in favor of his cane, he carefully walked toward the desk and sat beside you.
"Are you alright?" he whispered. You hummed in response, melting under his touch as his long fingers gently brushed your hair. For a moment, you wished this could last forever.
But the paper sticking on your skin reminded you of the test you're supposed to be studying for.
Sighing, you removed the offending object and pouted at Viktor.
"Gods, I'd do anything to have your brain right now."
It was meant to be a joke but a hint of sadness creeped through.
He blinked in surprise at the statement, then came a light chuckle.
"Forgive me, darling," he continued to giggle. His hands moved to clasp yours, tugging you closer. You almost missed the mischievous glint in those golden eyes.
"What will you need my brain for when you already own my heart?"
It was embarrassing how it took you three seconds to process what he said.
Damn him and his accent and his ability to easily get you flustered.
Your cheeks felt too hot. The urge to either punch or kiss that growing smirk off his face was becoming stronger.
"Unfortunately, owning your heart can't help me pass my quantum mechanics exam," you huffed.
"That is true. However," Viktor cradled your cheek, his face now mere centimeters away. "It does provide you the privilege of, perhaps, a one-on-one private tutoring?"
Soft lips briefly brushed yours, the action sending shivers down your spine.
"And afterwards," his voice lowered an octave, "maybe I can explicitly remind you how amazing your mind is."
"Deal!" Your lips met instantly in a heated kiss. Comfort, reassurance, and thanks conveyed through every glide, nip, and bit-back moan.
Love, oh gods do you love him so much.
It's honestly unfair how helpless he can make you feel. Although, you realize with a smile, deep down you do not mind it one bit.

Your World or Mine [Part 3] [Viktor x Reader]
Sorry this part is kind of all over the place. The next part should be better
Synopsis: You get accidentally teleported to Piltover from Earth. The Hextech scientists try their best to get you back home.
Warnings: None
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3] [Part 4] [Part 5]
Tumblr media
Piltover Academy was filled with many long hallways. It was fairly easy to get lost in them, especially when you’d only been there for about 24 hours. Which, of course, was your situation. After a few trial and error routes you eventually found your way back to the Hextech lab, clad in your brand new wardrobe. You knocked on the familiar looking door and was greeted by Sky.
“Welcome back Y/N.” She said with a smile.
“Thanks Sky.” You replied. “How are things going here?”
Sky led you further into the lab and towards a table that Viktor and Jayce were hunched over. “We’ve come up with a base idea for a device that can get you home. Jayce and Viktor are working more on the specifics.” Sky cleared her throat behind the two men to let them know of her presence.
The scientists turned away from their work. Jayce let out a small whistle before speaking. “You clean up nice. Those clothes look good on you.”
You rolled your eyes at his reaction. “Gee, thanks. Though I wasn’t a total mess before you know” you teased, causing a small laugh from Jayce.
For once it seemed Viktor was at a loss for words while looking at you. Jayce lightly nudged him and he cleared his throat. “Yes. You look very nice Miss Y/N. F/C is certainly your color.”
You smiled, a light blush dusting your cheeks. “Thanks.” After a painfully long silence you spoke again. “So, this device you’re working on…”
“Ah right!” Viktor turned to grab his notes. He fumbled with them for a moment. Jayce squinted his eyes at Viktor as he thought intensely about his partners actions. After a moment his eyes grew wide and a smile crossed his lips. Viktor didn’t notice his partners reaction at first but did a double take when he saw the cocky smile on Jayces face. “What’s that look for?” He asked.
“Oh, nothing. I just had an epiphany about a personal project.”
Viktor looked very skeptical about Jayces response. Nevertheless he took a step towards you to show off his notes. “We have been thinking about making a device that can open a portal to an exact location. Sort of like a smaller scale of our Hexgates, but portable. It will utilize the same rune matrix as the gates. However, while that all may work with getting the portal open, we have no idea how to lock it on to your world specifically.”
The room went quiet once again. Even you were attempting to come up with some sort of solution. “Hmmmm. What if…” All eyes drew their attention to you, “What if instead of locking onto a specific point the portal targeted a specific person and brought you to their location?”
“I suppose with some DNA that is possible.” Viktor mulled over the thought in his head.
“But how would that help? It’s not like you have DNA of another person with you. Do you?” Jayce asked.
“Well technically speaking, I share DNA with my parents and siblings. Would that work?” You asked in a most unsure tone.
“Ehhh DNA is complex. I’m not a biologist, but I am fairly certain that your DNA is a mixture of both your parents. Any sort of targeting mechanism wouldn’t be able to get a clear reading unless the target was precise.” Viktor sat down on a nearby stool to attempt to think of another solution.
“What if the DNA was 99% similar? Would that be enough?” Jayce and Viktor both looked at you with uncertainty.
“Yeah that would probably work.” Jayces eyes traveled to his partner as if to double check with him.
“Theoretically yes. That is very specific though. What made you think of that number specifically?” Viktor confirmed.
“Well,” you nervously rubbed the back of your head, “to be honest I have a twin sister. Our parents tested us when we were younger to see just how identical we are. Turns out we share about 99% of the same DNA.”
“That seems… pretty convenient.” Jayce admits. He and Viktor both had a look of amazement on their faces. They really didn’t know much about you at all.
“Yeah, guess it’s lucky though.” You shrugged.
“So it would seem.” Viktor turned on his stool so that he was facing the desk. “Lets get to work.”
You watched the men work for a bit before turning to Sky. “I just remembered that I left something in my room. I’ll be right back.” you whispered.
“Would you like me to come with you?” She asked.
“Nah, I think I’ll be fine on my own. Thanks though.” After your response you ducked quietly out of the room.
Back to the long winding hallways of the Academy. This time you only got lost twice before making it back to the dorms. An idea had come to you while you watched Viktor work. You wanted to thank him for walking you back to your room and for giving you that plush cat. Since you had no money to get him something yourself, you decided to draw him a portrait. However, you wanted to do it in secret. That meant that you needed to get references, or in this case, photos of him.
After the quick stop in your room you returned to the lab with your cell phone in hand. Luckily it still had plenty of battery left. You thought you had been pretty quiet when you left, but upon entering Viktor immediately noticed your return.
“Welcome back.” He said, though his back remained turned towards the desk in front of him.
“Thanks.” You walked towards the desk. You had to be clever with how you approached this, you didn’t want to arouse suspicion. “Hey, remember when I was telling you guys about my cell phone earlier?” The question was phrased to both Viktor and Jayce beside him.
Jayce looked up at you. “Yeah.”
“Well thats what I went to get. See, I told you it takes pictures right?” Jayce nodded, and now you had Viktors attention as well. “Well I was thinking that I’d like to get pictures of all of you. So when I leave I’ll have something to remember you by.”
Jayce smiled sweetly at you, Viktor on the other hand let his face drop a bit. The reminder that you’d eventually have to leave seemed to have an effect on him. “Absolutely we’d love to have our pictures taken.” Jayce replied.
You smiled back at him. “Ok, everyone get together! You too Sky.” You had the three of them stand together and took a picture. “Don’t look so stiff! It’s not a professional portrait or anything.” The three of them relaxed a bit. Viktor even managed a soft smile. You took several more pictures, sneakily zooming in on Viktor in particular. You then moved to stand with them before turning your camera to selfie mode. “Smile.” You said and snapped a picture when everyone leaned in towards you. Viktor and Jayce were amazed at the technology, but Sky had seen it before so she shared the small laughter that came from your throat.
You pulled Sky aside. “I want one with each of you now. I’ll start with Sky!” You held your phone out and leaned in close with her. She gave a shy smile as you took the picture.
You then pulled Jayce aside, but when you held up the camera you realized that he was too tall for your arms to get him in the picture. “You’re either going to have to lean down or take the picture Jayce, cause you’re too tall for my little arms.” You laughed.
His eyes lit up at that request. “You’d really let me use it?”
“As long as you don’t drop it.” You handed your phone over to him. “Hold it out in front of us and tap that little white circle when we’re ready.” You explained. Jayce pulled you close by the shoulders and did just as you said, snapping a picture just as you looked shocked by his action. He took a second one once you were smiling.
“This thing is amazing! Can I see the pictures?” Jayce asked when he handed your phone back.
“Maybe later.” You laughed. Jayce gave you a thumbs up in response.
Lastly you pulled a stool beside Viktor, who had gone back to working on the portal device. “Care for a picture?” You jokingly asked.
Viktor looked up at you. He didn’t look as amused as Sky and Jayce were. Once he saw the smile on your face fade a bit he gave a weak reassuring smile. “I suppose I can spare a moment for you.”
You scooted a little closer and held out your phone. You took a picture, but when you looked at it you frowned. “Is something wrong with it?” Viktor asked.
“You’re not smiling. Like at all.” You said.
“Oh, sorry. I don’t get a lot of pictures taken so I guess I am not used to it.”
You gave him a reassuring smile. “Thats alright. Let’s try again.” You held your phone out again and this time Viktor gave you a soft, sort of pained looking smile. You took one picture. Then you leaned into him so you were shoulder to shoulder and took another. This time Viktor had a genuine look on his face. It was one of surprise from the sudden physical contact.
You said nothing when you parted from beside him. You just gave a quick smile before heading back over to Jayce. “You wanted to see the pictures right?”
Viktor was left sitting by himself, trying his hardest to focus on a way to make the portal device work. His attention didn’t hold long. It was drawn away moments later by Jayce. “Viktor, you’ve got to see this. Y/N’s device can record moving pictures too!” He practically dragged his partner from his stool to where you were standing and showing Sky the small video you had taken of Jayce.
“Y/N, show Viktor how it works.” Jayces excitement reminded you of a kid on Christmas morning and it made you laugh.
“Alright.” You tilted your phone up towards Viktor. “Just act natural. Wave to the camera, or say something. Really anything will do.”
Viktor glanced to Jayce beside him and then back to the camera. “Come on Vik, do something.” Jayce nudged his friend in the shoulder.
“I don’t understand what this is accomplishing.” Viktor responded.
You walked closer to the two of them and tapped the screen to change to your front facing camera. “It’s called a video. See what you see on the screen is being recorded and I can play it back later.” You explained with the camera pointed at you and Viktor. Viktor leaned closer to the screen. He held a serious look as he examined it. “Some would also call this, making memories. So I guess that’s what this is accomplishing.” You further answered his previous comment.
Viktor glanced back at you. “Memories Hm?” He gave you a soft smile.
You returned his smile with your own. “Yeah. But if you don’t want to be on video it’s fine. Lots of people are camera shy. I’ve been told I look scared anytime I’m on camera. Which is kind of weird cause I’m definitely not scared, but I guess it’s just my face.” Viktor gave a soft chuckle, as he had come to form the habit of doing when you rambled.
“I’m comfortable doing this… video for you.” Viktor backed away from the camera and stood next to you instead. “I just don’t know what you’d like me to say.”
You stopped recording and lowered the camera. “You don’t really have to say anything specific.” After a moment of silence and no response from Viktor, you decided to speak again. “Though it might be better to get candid video. That way it’s more natural.” Viktor hummed in response this time, though there was some disappointment etched in his eyes. “I should probably stop distracting you guys anyway. You’ll never get any work done if we keep playing with my phone.”
“You are right.” Viktor sighed.
“Right. So Jayce and Sky can work on the portal thing, and I actually need to borrow you for a moment Viktor.” Viktor was caught off guard and a look of surprise crossed his face. Jayce nodded with a coy smile before dragging Sky with him back to the desk to begin calculations for the portal.
You moved to the opposite side of the room with Viktor trailing. The two of you went as far away from Jayce as you could get. “I’m sorry if I said something that bothered you.” You said in a hushed voice.
Viktor was stunned for a moment. “Of course you didn’t. Why would you think that?”
“I don’t know. You just looked a bit disappointed when I stopped filming.” You leaned onto the desk and Viktor mimicked the action, letting his crutch lean against the desk as well. “I know what it’s like to feel left out, so if that’s it-“
“No, that’s not it. Though you are quite observant miss Y/N. I was disappointed, but more in myself.”
“What? Why?”
Viktor let out a long sigh. “I felt like I had let you down. You wanted to record memories of us here, but I couldn’t even think of anything to say.”
You took Viktors hand and placed your phone in it. “Then speak from the heart instead. Thinking can often complicate things, or at least that’s what I’ve found to be true.” You lifted his arm up so that he was in the frame with you and tapped the record button. “And don’t worry about saying anything stupid. About 75% of the things I say are stupid anyway. You can  always laugh at yourself about it later.”
Viktor was staring at you and for the first time since you met him he looked dumbfounded. You nodded your head towards the screen as an indication to speak. “Oh!” He cleared his throat and looked at the camera. “Miss Y/N, I… should I address it to you?” He looked at you for reassurance.
“Do whatever you want. If you want to make it like a video letter that’s fine, or you could just start it off with saying hi.” You smiled and reassured him.
“Right…” he thought for a moment and took a breath before continuing. “I am glad we met miss Y/N. I know it has not been very long, and I think the only person I’ve ever become faster friends with was Jayce, but I have enjoyed the short time we have spent together.” You looked away from the camera with a slight blush on your cheeks. Viktor took another deep breath and what he said next had you staring at him in disbelief. “I am dreading the day you have to leave. I know I will miss you once you’re gone. Perhaps that’s why I am so willing to get distracted from my work, which I usually never do...” Viktor looked down at his feet in thought. He looked back up at you and then back to the camera. “It is selfish to want to keep you from your own world… I’m sorry.” Viktor stopped the recording and quickly handed you your phone. You looked up at him with wide stunned eyes. “I’m sorry. I can’t.” He quickly picked up his crutch and walked back over to Jayce and Sky. You were left standing alone, your heart thumping quickly and loudly. Viktors words surely were heartfelt and you thought that perhaps if he continued to speak it may have ended in some sort of confession of love. However it was only a passing thought.
When you finally came out of your dazed state you just watched the HexTech scientists from the other side of the room. They were hard at work to try and get you home, but now you were conflicted on whether or not you actually wanted to leave. Viktor had said he wanted you to stay. Was that enough for you? You couldn’t even admit your feelings to yourself, so how could you use them as an excuse to leave your old life behind. Everything was happening so fast and it was hard to understand the flurry of emotions happening within you.
You slowly made your way to the lab doors. “Everything ok?” Jayce asked when you reached for the door handle. He, Viktor, and Sky were now looking at you. When your eyes trailed over to Viktor he averted his own gaze. “I’m a bit tired. I was going to go lie down for a bit.”
“Aright. We’ll come and grab you for dinner.” Jayce gave a soft smile.
“Sounds great!” You replied before exiting.
“Ugh that ended up being a disaster!” You flopped onto the comfy dorm bed. “All I wanted to do was get photos of him for this stupid portrait. And what do I do instead? Make him uncomfortable. Make him say things he probably regrets saying.” You leaned up from the middle of the bed and looked at the cute stuffed animal he gave you earlier. “He probably thinks I hate him for what he said.” You took the stuffed cat and held it in your hands, lightly stroking its fluffy ear. “Maybe it is selfish to want me to stay. But that’s not a bad thing when I kind of want to anyway.” You sighed and placed the plush aside to go and take a seat at the desk. “If anything, me wanting to stay is selfish. But is it really so bad if I want a new life, if I want to stay with someone I might possibly harbor some sort of feelings for.” You started to look through the photos you took for inspiration.
None of them seemed quite right. They were missing the emotion to them that you were hoping to find. You played the first video you took of Viktor. Suddenly you paused it. He was in profile, glancing back towards you, but the genuine soft smile on his face was exactly what you were looking for. You took a screenshot of it for reference before grabbing your sketchbook. For a few minutes you became distracted, just staring at the image of Viktor on your phone. You took a sharp breath once you realized how long you’d been staring. “Focus!” You shook your head.
The next couple of hours were spent sketching out out ideas. You had a solid concept for the portrait down when a knock came at your door. You quickly closed your sketchbook and hid it back in your purse.
“I didn’t wake you did I?” Jayce asked when you opened the door.
“Nope, I’ve been up for a little bit now.” You replied.
“That’s good. Would you like to go grab dinner with me and Sky?”
“No Viktor?” You tried not to sound too disappointed when you asked.
Jayce scratched nervously at the back of his head. “He said to bring him back something. I guess he can’t tear himself away from his work. Though that’s nothing new.”
“I see.”
While you tried to remain as neutral as possible, Jayce could tell that you were at least a bit disappointed with Viktor not coming. “Why don’t you grab your room key and we can go.”
“Right! One second.” You quickly retrieved the key and shoved it into the dress pocket before following Jayce back to the lab. Jayce was right that Viktor was hard at work on the portal device. It only took about a minute for him to grab Sky and for the three of you to head out, so you didn’t even get the chance to say hello.
Dinner was dreadfully boring, or maybe it was the fact that you couldn’t pay attention to whatever Jayce was rambling about. You were much too worried about Viktor, that he may be worried that he offended you in some way. “Y/N?” Jayce tried to grab your attention.
“Hm?” You lifted your head to meet his gaze.
“Is something wrong?” His eyes softened as he looked at your face. “Is it Viktor?”
You sighed. “Did he say anything after I left earlier?”
Jayce put down his utensils to give you his full attention. “No. Why? Did something happen between you two?”
“Not particularly. But I think he may be under the impression that he said something offensive.”
“Did he?” Jayce cocked an eyebrow in curiosity.
“No… Well I suppose to someone else it could have been seen that way, but I didn’t find it offensive.”
Jayce hesitated for a moment before heeding the curiosity that had peaked within him. “What did he say, exactly?”
You looked between Jayce and Sky, who had been very quiet through the whole meal. With their eyes on you it felt increasingly difficult to dodge the question. You sighed and gave in. “He sort of mentioned that he is dreading when I have to leave. That’s why he’s been letting himself get distracted from his work because if he works on the portal for me then it means I’ll have to leave. He thought he was being selfish for wanting me to stay.”
“Oh.” Jayce looked surprised to hear how openly Viktor spoke of his desire. Jayce had only been about 80% sure that his partner had  fallen for you, but now he was almost 100% sure that was the truth… almost.
“Yeah. But I’m not upset about it! I’ve actually been… thinking a lot about everything…” you trailed off at the end.
“Everything?” Sky finally spoke her voice sounded strained, as though she were trying to conceal a budding aggravation within her. “What do you mean?”
“There’s just been so much that happened in the last 24 hours and I’m trying to process it all. What it boils down to though is that I’m not sure I want to go home. Last night I would’ve jumped at the chance to go. But now that I’ve made friends here and gotten a chance to see the city, I’m just not as eager.” You tried to gauge any sort of reaction from your dining partners, but they were just looking expectantly at you. “I think it’s because I want a change in my life. And thinking about it now, I wasn’t happy on my world…I don’t know I guess I just feel like being here is a blessing in disguise.”
You saw Sky visibly relax, though you don’t really know why she was tense in the first place.
Jayce crossed his hands in front of him and sighed. “I see where you’re coming from. You have to understand though, Piltover isn’t the haven that it appears to be. The city can be dangerous, and tensions are spiking with the Undercity.”
“What world doesn’t have dangers? I can’t exactly say that the world I live in is any kinder.”
“Y/N, I’m not going to force your decision in the end, but take time to really think about what living here would mean before deciding anything.”
You kept Jayces words with you for the rest of the night. Mulling them over as you drifted off to sleep that night. What would living in Piltover really mean?

It's time to welcome a new Tumblr Sexyman! It's Viktor Arcane!
And he even comes with his own Lorax!
Tumblr media
I'm just using the artwork from the visual novel thing instead of drawing him myself this time because drawing Viktor is a bit above my skill level. I will draw him myself and add him into the background at one of the tables in the first pic the next time we welcome a Sexyman though. That's easier to draw.
Also I don't know why I drew Spamton so tall for his welcome. I think it was just because the game had just come out and there wasn't THAT much artwork yet so I wasn't 100% sure how people were drawing him yet. I think I was just going by how tall the neo form was and drew the regular version that tall too. I apologize, he is a tiny dumpster man and I should have drawn him as such. So let me give a more accurate drawing of him.

Hello! Do you take requests? If so would I have an idea in mind. So you know how Act 1 Viktor had a cane and then after than he had a crutch instead? What if at the time he had to stop using his cane, it was the reader who actually created his crutch. They designed and built it and everything just for him and they gave him the crutch as a gift knowing his cane wasn't gonna last long anymore. How would Viktor feel about the whole thing?
AWH oh my gosh this is the cutest thing! I hope this is satisfactory bb! Also I know this took a long time so I apologize- I got lost in the sauce.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ GN!Reader ♥
You were always the friend that could be described in one word as mindful. You took great joy in taking care of your friends' needs and always put them before your own self care. Sky and Viktor, for example, had been friends of yours since you were a child. You were only a couple of years younger than both of them, but thought of them as the siblings you never had. With Sky, she was easy to read, you could always tell when she had something on her mind, and she was very open with you when you asked her what was going on. Viktor, on the other hand, was a completely different story.
You noticed that Viktor had been spending more and more time in the lab, much to your and Sky’s dismay, of course. You became distant, your once close friendship seeming to dissipate over time, turning the two of you to colleagues instead as he made room for Hextech. Even on rare occasions when you were able to visit with him, it was usually only in the lab. His mind was so occupied with the advancements that he and Jayce Talis were creating together. The Hexgates were incredible, but your heart was torn. Something wasn’t right. You could tell that Viktor was spending perhaps too much time in the lab, his skin was becoming more pale, and the circles under his eyes were becoming more prominent as the months went on.
It wasn’t until you finally got him out of the lab for an evening walk that you realized that there was something he had been keeping a secret. His leg was worse than ever before. Initially he pretended that it wasn’t a big deal, but after taking several breaks and eventually relying on your strength to stand upwards, he conceded silently. You finally realized it as he couldn’t hide his pained expression from you. Your dear friend was pouring his entire life and wellbeing into Hextech, and what was it giving back to him? You had to do something to help, but what?
After walking back to the lab with Viktor, you scurried down the hall and immediately got to work. You drew up a blueprint of a crutch - to rest under his arm and with a handle for his hand to grip. Being a sort of jack of all trades you could do a lot of different things well - but you needed this to be perfect for Viktor. Your pride took a backseat to your heart, and you sought Jayce out to assist you with the creation of the crutch. He made fast work of your blueprint since you already had the measurements perfectly mapped out. The gold accents on the crutch were Jayce’s finishing touches. As much as you hated to say it, you were glad to have his help, and since he vowed to keep it a secret you were eternally grateful.
The following day you let yourself into the lab well after hours (with the help of spare keys lent to you by Sky). Not to anyone’s surprise, you found Viktor asleep over one of the workstations, his arms folded under his head and his notes scattered around him. A soft blush spread across your cheeks, and you gently leaned the crutch against the desk, careful not to make a sound. You left a small note tied to it with a small piece of ribbon, it wasn’t much, just something to tell him that it was meant for him.

Můj Miláček
A Viktorxfem!reader fic
Word Count: 3.3k
Part 12/16
Tumblr media
Viktor was released from the hospital early the next morning, you’d stayed with him, he hadn’t asked you to leave and you had nowhere else you wanted to be. When he was free from the hospital he’d asked for a moment alone to clear his head, so you’d parted ways, promising to meet him back at the lab when he was ready.
You headed back home, feeling gross from the time in the hospital, a smattering of Viktor’s blood on the thighs of your pants. You spent the morning cleaning yourself up, scrubbing your skin until it was raw. It still felt like you were barely containing the extra magic that bubbled in your veins. You drowned out the world around you, standing with your face under the steady stream of water flowing out of the showerhead. The urge to use your magic was strong, though you were sure that you could get used to it, you could control it, you just needed more time. You’d managed two Gemstones with great success, adding a third shouldn’t be that difficult… Hopefully.
Once you’d gotten dressed and ready to go you decided to stop by the cafeteria to pick up some food, you doubted that Viktor had stopped to eat and you were starving.
When you arrived at the lab, snacks in hand, Sky wasn’t there, but Viktor and Jayce stood together, staring at a chalkboard full of sketches and equations.
Jayce had his hand on Viktor’s back, “I’ll have Sky bring Heimerdinger, he might know something that can help, in the meantime, we’ll do what we do best.”
“As long as you remember to eat,” You said from your spot in the doorway, Jayce’s eyes lighting up when he saw the food you were carrying.
“You’re the best, Mila.” He said, gratefully taking his share from you.
You smirked, “I know.”
You went to where Viktor stood, leaving Jayce to have a private moment alone with his sandwich. You placed one in Viktor’s hands, giving him your best ‘you better eat or I’ll shove it down your throat’ look. He seemed to get the message and unwrapped it, taking a few bites before picking up a piece of chalk and continuing with more equations you didn’t understand.
You’d been avoiding looking at the Hexcore since you walked in, but it drew your gaze like a magnet. The Hexcore was… different. Physically it appeared the same, minus the dead plant sitting on top of it, but there was a feeling deep in your bones that something was wrong. Instead of white noise you heard intermingled whispering, unable to make out what they were saying. It made your skin crawl and your heart beat fast with fear. You wanted to run as far away as you could, but you refused to let it win.
You shook your head, ridding yourself of the bothersome noise and sitting down as far away from it as possible. You felt antsy like there was too much energy inside you that was dying to get out. When you’d been using your magic with Viktor you’d felt relatively calm, but now it felt trapped inside you, pushing for a way out. You took some deep breaths, calming yourself as you felt your anxiety increase. You needed to stay away from strong emotions, the last thing you needed was a destructive magical outburst. You didn’t regret grabbing that third Gemstone, you’d needed it to get Viktor to the hospital, but you weren’t super thrilled about the consequences.
When Heimerdinger arrived, trotting into the lab, his face fell when he saw the Hexcore, his ears drooping. You stayed in your spot on the other side of the room, observing their conversation.
“What is that?” Heimerdinger asked apprehensively.
“I’m calling it, the Hexcore,” Viktor explained, “It’s an adaptive rune matrix. Hextech that evolves.”
Heimerdinger’s pet cooed, hiding behind his owner’s legs. You really should ask what kind of animal that was, you’d been calling it a horned fluffball in your head. You were sure there had to be a proper name for it.
“It’s - It’s groundbreaking,” Jayce stammered, gesturing towards the trilling orb as it floated ominously, “What’s most exciting is that it reacts to biological matter. There are stories of healing magic. Our samples thus far have perished but I think if we work together we can figure out how to stabilize it.”
“You must destroy it,” The Professor said, his voice full of terrified awe. You startled, you hadn’t expected that reaction. Then again, Heimerdinger had always been distrustful of magic, going as far as to avoid you for weeks and trying to stop the creation of Hextech in the first place. He’d been wrong about both of those things being a danger so far.
“What?” Viktor asked, also not having expected that response.
Heimerdinger shook his head, “Please, if ever you’ve put faith in my guidance, hear me now. I’ve seen nations destroyed by a single seed, and it looked exactly like this.”
“You can’t.” You said, fear creeping into your voice. This was Viktor’s only chance at survival, you would fistfight the little furball before you let him destroy it.
“Professor, this could save Viktor’s life,” Jayce added.
“Viktor, something’s different.” Heimerdinger looked him up and down, “You’ve changed, what did you do?”
“What do you mean, Professor?” Viktor asked, his face the picture of innocence.
“It’s that thing,” Heimerdinger started towards it, “It must be destroyed.”
‘No!’ Growled a voice in your ear, and without thinking you reached out a hand towards the Professor, a blue wall of light appearing in front of him, stopping him in his tracks. He turned to face you and you stared blankly into his terrified face. The other men watched you with apprehension.
“Mila-“ Viktor started but was cut off by Heimerdinger.
“What did I tell you about messing with the Gemstones, you will lose control.”
“I am perfectly in control.” You lied through your teeth.
“Do you not feel the death and destruction that this object could wreak, why else would you be standing as far away from it as you could?” He challenged, but you wouldn’t back down.
“I don’t care what it is, or what it wants,” You lower your hand, the blue wall fading, “If it can save Viktor we have to take the chance.”
“We won’t let you destroy it.” Jayce backed you up.
“Jayce,” Heimerdinger rounded on the taller man, “This is a violation of the Ethos, I will have it destroyed one way or another.”
“That’s your opinion,” Jayce shot back, “We’ll see if the Council agrees.”
Heimerdinger flattened his ears to his head, letting out an angry puff of air before turning and marching across the room, his pet barking at the boys for good measure.
He paused in front of you, looking up with a searching gaze, “Please, do not absorb any more magic, you do not understand the havoc it will cause.”
“I don’t plan on it, Professor,” You stared down at him with a hardness in your eyes, he may have the luxury of living for centuries, but Viktor only had weeks left. You wouldn’t let him stop you, “I would like to stay myself.”
With a nod and a troubled look on his face, Heimerdinger left the lab.
Jayce groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“I might know someone else that could help.” Viktor sounded tired as he spoke.
“You do what you have to,” Jayce agreed, “I need to get ready.”
Viktor raised an eyebrow, looking confused, “For what?”
A Council meeting was the answer, and in that Council meeting, he would have to challenge Heimerdinger. It wouldn’t be an easy task and he would need support. Jayce left in search of allies, leaving you and Viktor alone in the lab.
You stared at each other from across the room, close, yet you felt like there was a chasm between you, and you desperately needed to close it.
Your feet carried you until you were stopped right in front of him, wrapping your arms around his chest as you pulled him in for a hug. He held on to you, his hands stroking your back as they always tended to do.
Your body relaxed, the tension fading from your body as you closed your eyes. You felt Viktor’s chuckle reverberate in your chest.
“What are you laughing at?” You asked, still content in your spot.
“You’re using your magic on me.”
You opened your eyes to find that you were once again glowing blue, “Oops,” You were saying that a lot these days, “When I’m not using my magic it’s like it’s pressing up behind this dam that’s about to explode, but when I use it I feel normal, more in control.”
His hands found their way up to your head, smoothing down your hair, making you close your eyes once more, “We will find a way to work through this.”
“You think I can stay attached to you like a little leech until then?” You asked, smiling cheekily up at him.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea where I’m going.” He said, brushing your hair behind your ear.
“And where are you going?” You asked, leaning your face into his touch.
“The Undercity.” He answered.
You felt the familiar exploding feeling in your chest, images running quickly past your eyes. There was a Viktor in a dark and damp cave, standing before a bald man with scars across his face and a cowl covering his mouth, accepting a vial of pink liquid that you recognized as Shimmer. The man’s name was Singed and you wouldn’t trust him as far as you could throw him, excluding when magic was boosting your strength, you imagine you could throw him pretty far under those circumstances. Though, through all your apprehension, you had a feeling that he was exactly who Viktor needed.
“He’ll have what you need,” You said when the images stopped.
“Good to know I won’t be wasting my trip then.” Viktor took a step back, you reluctantly released your hold on him, the calm feeling vanishing as your magic begged to be let back out.
“Can I come with you? You asked, you wanted to protect him, be there in case his health took a turn for the worse, but you also understood that there were some things he would want to do alone.
He shook his head, “You should stay here Miláček, I don’t know what he’d do should he find out what you are.”
That was a fair point, Viktor would be safe with him, but you wouldn’t be. It would be best for both of you if you stayed in Piltover.
“I’ll be here when you get back,” You stated.
He smiled, “I look forward to it.”
***
Sky stopped by while you waited, informing you nervously of the blockade between the Undercity and Piltover that Jayce had ordered and asked if Viktor was around. You said you didn’t know where he was, but your anxiety over him coming back safely skyrocketed. Tensions were rising in the city, there was so much at stake, including Viktor’s life.
Jayce and Viktor enter the lab at the same time, the tension between them palpable. You knew Viktor got what he was looking for, but you had good enough sense not to ask.
To your surprise, entering after them was Councillor Medarda. You exchanged greetings and small talk while the boys cleared the Hexcore off the desk, its disappearance giving you room to breathe. You walked over to where they had set up, notebook in hand, ready to do your job.
Jayce handed a banged-up-looking metal item to Viktor who was concentrated on carefully taking it apart.
“Um, the form is crude,” Viktor took off the outer shell, revealing wires and vials of multi-coloured liquids inside, “But the engineering is inspired.”
“Do you think they can crack Hextech?” Jayce asked his partner. Ah, now it made sense why they had what appeared to be a small bomb in the lab, it concerned the theft of Hextech. You would have thought that the Enforcers would be better suited for this job, but keeping the potentially dangerous capabilities of Hextech out of people’s hands was something they would want to keep under wraps.
“Mm, it’s a leap.” Viktor shrugged.
You were immediately thankful you were standing behind Councilor Medarda who was busy intently watching the dismantling of the weapon, because without warning your chest tightened and an electric feeling exploded through your body for the second time that day.
You were fully immersed in the vision. You recognized the place, you’d seen it in your more recent dreams that involved the girl with the blue hair. You stood on the catwalk of her room, materials, and weapons scattered everywhere, toys hung from the ceiling, and looking below you gulped at the sight of a very long drop.
There was loud music blaring through a speaker as the blue-haired girl worked at her table. You walked up to stand behind her, peering over her shoulder and confirming your suspicions of why this vision was being shown to you now. On the table were multiple bombs, exactly like the one Viktor was taking apart.
She swayed and hummed along with the music, ignoring the black and yellow-eyed man as he approached.
“Jinx!” He yelled, getting closer and closer, “Jinx, Jinx!”
He turned off the music as she swiveled around in her chair, flashing him a huge smile, coming face-to-face with you standing there.
“That’s me!” She said, her eyes unfocusing and then refocusing on you as she looked to where you stood. Only one person had ever addressed you in a vision and that person had been dead. The way she was looking at you had you taking a tentative step back.
“You aren’t supposed to be here.” She stuck out her finger, and before you could do or say anything she tapped your chest, sending you hurtling back to reality.
You stumbled, earning you a glance from Viktor, but the three people were too busy to ask any questions, they were deep in an argument.
“You want us to build weapons?” Jayce asked incredulously.
Viktor looked outraged at the suggestion, “Absolutely not. That is not why we invented Hextech.”
“We would shatter any attempt at peace, Heimerdinger would never go for-“
Councillor Medarda cut Jayce off, “Heimerdinger’s inaction is what brought us here, you said so yourself.”
Viktor looked at his partner, then to where you stood behind the Councillor as she walked past him, closing in on Jayce, “The peace has already been broken, Jayce, I’m only asking you to prepare to defend your people. If we’re lucky, we’ll never need to use it.”
You weren’t familiar with war, but you were pretty sure that Piltover would use any excuse to justify the means. They already had everything, what more could they possibly suck out of the lower class? They were already stealing their air, did they have to commit outright murder as well?
“The decision is yours,” She said, not missing the scoff that came from Viktor. She left the lab without looking at you, leaving tensions even higher than they were previously.
“Ridiculous,” Viktor muttered, “You cannot be considering this.”
“What if she’s right, are we just going to stand by while they attack us?” Jayce asked.
“We’re scientists, not soldiers.” Viktor turned to face his partner.
“We have the knowledge to defend ourselves,” Jayce argued. You knew his heart was in the right place, but he was horrible at seeing the bigger picture. He may have good intentions, but most others in power do not. He didn’t understand what it was like to live with nothing, to not know if you would be going to bed hungry. It made people act in violent ways they wouldn’t should their basic needs be met. The people of the Undercity were outraged, as they should be. They were a part of Piltover, they contributed to the wealth of those at the top, yet they were treated like nothing more than dirt under their shoes.
“We agreed that Hextech was to improve lives, not take them.”
“We may not have a choice.”
Viktor had gotten frustrated with the conversation, and in the frustration, he had gotten reckless with the bomb he was holding and tripped the trigger. Your breath caught in your throat as you stood still, the bomb ticking as Viktor hesitated briefly before cutting a wire, defusing the bomb. You exhaled in relief, maybe you could have shielded them from a bomb of that size, but you didn’t want to risk testing it.
“There is always a choice,” Viktor all but spat out.
“Well, what about you, Mila,” Jayce turned towards you, “You have magic, can’t use that to help stop this?”
You scoffed, “I can’t end a civil war, Jayce.” What had gotten into him?
“But you said you could be one of the most powerful mages ever, couldn’t you use that strength for good?” He pushed.
You felt your face flush with anger, you crossed your arms over your chest, “Were you not listening when we told you that I couldn’t control my power if I took too much? I can barely control three Gemstones worth without feeling like I’m about to split into a thousand tiny pieces.” You walked towards him, poking him threateningly in the chest, “You’d doom me to be forever trapped inside my head, fuelled only by raw instinct and pain, so you can obliterate a group of people who are only fighting for the same rights and freedoms that you enjoy on a daily basis?”
You stared him down, fingers crackling with energy, “Get your head out of your ass, Jayce, this is not the side of history you want to be on.”
Jayce was shocked, he hadn’t expected you to go on the offensive like that, you never had before. But you were tired, strung out, and still no closer to figuring out how to help Viktor. You had no time to be treated like a weapon and you would not entertain the idea of using your power to hurt people.
Jayce sighed heavily, “I need to think.”
He left the room, face buried in his hand, your fingers still crackling with the need to electrocute him. You were glad you held back, murder was not something you wanted to commit, but giving him a bit of a spark would have been rather satisfying. However, you weren’t sure if you could have controlled the magic with the anger that was coursing through you.
“Mila, are you alright?” Viktor brought you back from your thoughts.
You turned to him, rubbing your neck, “He needed to hear it.”
“Let’s hope he listens.” Viktor pushed the now deactivated bomb to the side.
“I had another vision,” You sat down on a stool behind him, “about the person who's making those bombs.”
“And you didn’t tell either Council member?” Viktor questioned, curiosity in his expression.
You shook your head, “It’s that blue-haired girl from my dreams, she’s just a kid. Jinx is her name.”
“You have a soft spot for this child you’ve never met,” It wasn’t a question, it was the truth and Viktor knew it.
“I don’t think there’s anything I can do to help her, but prison will only make her situation worse, she wouldn’t get any help there and she needs a lot,” She’d lost her whole family and was then subsequently groomed. It was clear that the man cared about her, but that didn’t exempt him from using her for his own gains and to her detriment.
“Did you get the Shimmer?” You asked, changing subjects. In response, Viktor grabbed his cane, popping open a secret compartment in the lowest handle. Inside was a vial of pink liquid, it was time to get started.

Arcane Background Lore/Easter Eggs (Episode 6)
Welp folks, just one more sleep until Arcane part 3 [screams internally].
Tumblr media
Mel’s painting depicts “The Immortal Bastion”, the enormous fortress that serves as Noxus’ seat of government. However, the artist at Fortiche who drew it kinda messed up by making it seem like the bastion had two towers connected by a bridge at the top, when in reality it has three (representing the three pillars of Noxian philosophy). I’m willing to bet this is down to them using this specific piece of concept art as primary reference:
Tumblr media
That aside, Mel referencing being an outcast from her family, while we see pictures of Noxus is clearly meant to imply to savy viewers that she has familial ties to Noxus. I’m not really sure what to do with her episode 1 line about being the richest person in Piltover, but the poorest Medarda, since according to League lore, clan Medarda is a well-established Piltover house, but it’s also supposed to be led by a patriarch with a man named Jae Medarda as heir apparent… Best guess there’s been a retcon and we’ll need to wait until part 3 to know how it all fits together.
Tumblr media
The rune in frame when Viktor pokes the hex core, is the rune for sorcery. You know the thing Viktor is trying to learn.
Tumblr media
This motif of a pink eye atop a tower-like structure at the entrance to the sump might be a reference to the “vision ward” item in league which are these little structures you can place that have this pink eye floating above it which reveals invisible enemies and stuff. They have since been renamed to “control wards” and had their color changed to red, but the fandom still often refers to them as “pink wards”.
Tumblr media
The character featured in Ren’s storybook is someone named Teemo, whom a significant portion of the fandom (including yours truly) despise for being an absolute menace to play against. Also him and Vi used to be a popular ship with the straight cis boy segment of the fandom, and they even had a semi-canon wedding. I wish I was joking.
Tumblr media
There is a kind of pink potion in League called “Corrupting Potion”, which restores health and magic while temporarily increasing the damage of your attacks. However the potion Caitlyn trades her rifle for is a very different shade of pink, more similar to that used for shimmer.
Tumblr media
Whatever you do, do not look up what Singed’s looks like in League, cause you will not be able to take him seriously as a villain afterwards. He’s one of the first characters they came up with for the game and his design has aged like milk.
Tumblr media
Ravens have made a lot of appearances throughout the show, and so far I have assumed it was mostly just set-dressing. However now that we know Noxus will play a part in the story, I would be remiss not to mention that Jericho Swain, the Grand General of Noxus (essentially their president) is visually heavily associated with ravens, though its not clear whether or not he actually is the Grand General at the time Arcane takes place.
Tumblr media
So, here used to be a segment talking about why I didn’t think the leader of the firelights was going to be Ekko, but then act 3 came out, and proved that I was full of shit. Instead let me take this space to highlight some of the clues to Ekko being the Firelights leader, and how they were just vague enough to prevent people from definitively calling it:
- Ekko is very heavily associated with clocks, the first part of the Firelights leader we see is his pocket watch, but in league Ekko wears a wrist watch (sorta).
- Ekko signature weapon is a cricket bat (not a shillelagh) in League, but in a lot of early concept art he does wield a shillelagh just like the Firelights leader.
- Just like with the crystal grenades, in League ekko can both stun enemies and throw grenades, but they are separate abilities and rely on time magic to work.
- In the “True Genius” trailer, Ekko builds a rocket powered skateboard, however its not until Heimerdinger gets his hands on it that it starts to fly.

Breaking a bit with tradition here because I think there is a slight chance that Samira might actually make a cameo in Arcane. She’s basically the person Noxus sends in when they want a messy situation dealt with and don’t care who gets caught in the crossfire, and her fighting style would look amazing in Arcane’s animation style. It’s probably just wishful thinking, but she would make sense to bring in as a character to represent how much you shouldn’t fuck with Noxus.
If there’s anything I missed please let me know, I’m planning to do a breakdown like this for each episode.
