Let's talk about Jasmine and her relationship with Echo

I feel like they would get really close if they ever met. I think Julien would tell Echo about her in a way he wouldn't tell Zane because he was scared Zane would tell others someday. Echo won't ever leave the lighthouse, so he can't tell anyone. He would know about Julien's other child, but he would figure it's Zane, the one he replaced. When they meet, once they figured out they were related, I think Echo would realize and want to tell Jasmine what he knows. Julien wanted to know her but couldn't. He left her because it's what was best for her. I think Echo would want to imagine Julien left him for those kinds of reasons too.

I think they would bond over being abandoned by Julien. Jasmine before she was born, Echo long after. I think they'd each envy each other, in a way. They both resent him (even if they won't admit it), but Jasmine resents him never being there. Echo resents him being there so much, only to leave him. Echo would fill in the gaps for Jasmine on who he was, while Echo is more eager to hear about the life Jasmine lived in the wide world, especially on her own.

I think they'd have a super close bond, I think they should visit Jasmine's home and have a snowball fight, I think she should take him to Borg Industries and watch Echo go starry eyed at all the cool technology, I think Jasmine would help replace his rusted gears and wires with ones that won't deteriorate as easily, i think she'd teach him how to garden and befriend animals and i think echo would be so thrilled to get away from the sea

I think if Echo and Jasmine ever got to meet, they'd find a comfort in each other and a confidant about some of their issues that no one else could provide

I originally was gonna do a chart but no no this deserves more.

I also wouldn't call it "worst" as much as some people are less inclined to physical contact, so less likely to want to give or receive hugs.

HAZBINCULE: HUG RATINGS

1. Husk!

Yes a shocking person to put in first place, but trust me. He gives classic dad/grandpa hugs. Strong and warm and he makes that specific noise. They're never too long, but always give that sorta cozy bear hug feeling. You have to pass a certain level of friendship with him to receive them, but they're the absolute best once you do.

2. Lucifer

Again. Dad hugs!! Only Lucifer is a liiiiiittle more awkward. They might go on a little too long, hes not great at trying how long is too long. He definitely does the back pats. But still they're very comfy and shockingly warm! And you're left feeling like someone is very proud of you afterwards. Also i think he'd be willing to hug anyone who genuinely asked him for one.

3. Angel Dust

BIAS ALERT Listen i just think the extra arms give him an advantage. Hes also so fluffy. Its not the same texture as Husk, who has classic fur, but more downy. Like baby chick fluff. Hes soooo soft and cozy and all the extra arms means he can hug you and play with your hair and anything else you're into

I also think hes just a touchy person so he'd be happy to provide hugs to people hes close to. His criteria for "close enough for hugs" isn't as strict as Husks, but he still has one.

4. Charlie

My girl LOVES GIVING HUGS!!! Like her dad, she is HAPPY to hug anyone who askes (within reason. She has some nos but dw those are rare)

Her hugs are TIGHT like you slightly fear your back breaking when she does it, but they're full of SO much love and joy you can't be mad. You might end up limping a little after bc of the back pain but its worth it. She can also lift and spin ANYONE she wants to and isn't afraid to do it. Tackle hugs are a possibility. Once you've opened the flood gates for her hugs there is no going back, good luck♡

5. Sir Pentious

Awkward sweet boy. Hes very very shy about touching and hugging. He probably doesn't wanna risk making people uncomfortable, but he is DEFINITELY a hugger once you've assured him you're totally cool with it.

The snake thing makes for some nice tight hugs (maybe sometimes a little too tight but hes working on that)

6. Vaggie

My sweet girl she is. A little awkward for the most part. Shes not as openly affectionate as Charlie is, but shes also am army girl and i can absolutely see her doing those tight "army bro" hugs when she really likes someone. She has separate "family" and "friend" hugs and you can tell how she feels about someone based on how shes willing to physically touch. Her family hugs are very soft, loose, not too rough. Her friend hugs are more the "army bro" style and usually very quick.

7. Cherri Bomb

Girls a casual hugger. Shes not touchin anyone she doesn't deem a close friend tho. Angel gets hugs. Vaggie gets hugs. She will give Charlie them but be awkward about it lol

You'd have to hit a pretty high level of friendship with her to get one, and they're still pretty casual. She strikes me as a "one arm hugger" most of the time. Unless you're Sir Pentious but shhhh.

8. Niffty

It's not that she doesn't like them or anything just. Girl has absolutely NO idea what personal space is and due to tiny bug nature her hugs are more like having a small feral squirrel latch onto you for a minute before she skitters off.

Shes trying her best. They're very sweet even if they leave anyone receiving them vaugely confused.

9. Alastor.

Two words for you;

Touch. Averse.

Now, we've seen him with Mimzy! He is not against hugging! But it has to PURELY be on his time. He will only do it when HE wants to, end of story. He also much prefers if you do not hug back. Him showing any physical affection is rare, and his preference is to stay in control of it.

What do they feel like? Hm. Actually probably pretty nice. Oddly gentle, considering who we're talking about. I think whoever got one would be more in shock than anything else lol

Yes! It seemed like that guy made a lot of claims about what Miu wanted and how she felt that weren't true but that their parents believed anyway. Seeing as Kaito is generally the one who's more hung up on what happened back then (namely that he didn't notice sooner and stop it), it makes sense that that would be why he overreacts to anything that even slightly reminds him of it. If the last time someone tried to tell him they know what she wants, they were trying to manipulate him into letting them hurt her, he wouldn't exactly be keen on letting anyone else get away with it, even if their intentions are innocent.

On that note, hot take but I think that whole situation is also the reason he gets Weird™️about Takuma asking about what he loves about Miu. Cuz understandably I feel like most people's initial reaction to him saying he's not into his sister seemingly unprovoked is "hey what the fuck?" But like,,,in the context of everything they've been through, I can see how being asked if there's some reason he cares about her so much would read like an accusation to him. Like he was being compared to that guy. I mean, it kinda was a weird question to begin with--why would he need a reason to care about his sister?

Slightly unrelated tangent but I personally always found it weird that the other characters acted like it was weird that he worried about her so much. Like bro that's his baby sister. She's 2 apples tall. Even without the tragic backstory any half-decent brother would be worried alkkfdjak.

Anyways on the note of what they were like in the Before Times, just the other day I was telling one of my friends about how much I love MarineAngemon as a partner for Miu. Bc thinking about how...oh hell I haven't played this game in a MINUTE, I think it was the fake Syakomon(?) that accused her of pretending to like things she hates and hate things she likes + how she loved how cute the amusement park mons were + the way Kaito talks about her I feel like he's not actually being totally delulu about how cute she is. I feel like she probably did act a lot more cutesy but stopped because of Certain Life Events. So having her mega be something very small and very cute but still very strong is Neat, I think. Like she got a piece of her real self back and isn't so afraid of it anymore.

I'm also pretty positive that Kaito's always been a doting loser alfdkja. Like,,,his response to Minoru being worried about him letting Miu boss him around was just "hey how long do you think I've been doing this big brother thing for" lmao. Literally 0 backbone on that boy. As long as it isn't dangerous, Miu gets whatever Miu wants ToT And Miu saying he used to always pat her head wtf why are they so cute.

ALSO I NOTICED THEY BOTH REFER TO TAKING DOWN THE MASTER AS GOING AFTER THE "FINAL BOSS" SO YOU CANNOT TELL ME THEY DIDN'T PLAY A LOT OF VIDEO GAMES TOGETHER. NERDS WHO BOTH USE VIDEO GAME TERMINOLOGY IRL I LOVE THEM.

I have to admit I am still obsessed with the shit script. (And no I don't have it, don't even ask, it appeared to me in a dream about university libraries)

And I am probably alone in this corner, partially because most people haven't read the full thing (understandably), partially because people emphasize certain parts too much and partially bc the fandom pretty unanimously agreed it has to be a certain way BUT script!Crowley isn't half the asshole people make them out to be. Just as script!Aziraphale isn't half that demsel in distress people like to paint them ass.

Yes the most commonly known interactions between the two, that are floating around and that most will have seen are grim to put it lightly BUT there are other parts of the script that can give you a whole different perspective of the characters.

Script!Crowley is an asshole sure, but he is also a character that works if you remember that he is a great a coward. Bro is squirming and bootlicking like a champion, putting up that facade of big bad 'i hate everything' demon while in actuality being a rather incompetent loser. The dialogue doesn't state it but he does care for his employees, to the point of having a show off moment throwing out a person, he as demon should whole heartily want to be there for all the bad they are causing, he even learned his employees names which you wouldn't expect from the persona he otherwise puts on. He even has a sweet moment with madam Tracy, offering her a birthday party and asking her to take care of the boy. So he does care he just would rather run away and hope for the consequences to never catch up to him than to state so openly. Also the one time script!crowley is drunk, he is incredibly docile and not at all like the asshat persona ... So there is that.

And for script! Aziraphale, well people sleep on how sassy this version probably could be if he had more 'screen time' outside of emergency situations. And what I mean by that is the first and the last interaction we get between Azi and Crowley is Azi sassing Crowley. Pointing out that's just like a demon to always be complaining and telling Crowley to not start this again when presented with an apple. Script!Aziraphale is not oblivious, he isn't naive or helpless, he simply chooses to not acknowledge the 'bad' parts (best example Crowley's cheating at checkers). But he also isn't above reminding Crowley about his inherent doomedness of him being a demon or striking a deal with a drunk Crowley while being sober himself. (In a sense script!Azi is exactly what some accuse tv!Azi to be).

In general Script!Crowley only gets nasty if stressed and inturn script!Aziraphale get hurt. Or does he really? (And yes this is just interpretation and since we don't have an acted out version you can interpret a lot into the script sooo uhm take this with as many grains of salt as you can) Again Aziraphale is of the opinion, that Crowley is inherently doomed, excuses his cheating with playing along and gives of the vibe of being at least slightly judgemental about Crowleys drinking habit. He is taking on the role of the Optimist in this version. An optimist that also cares unconditionally about Crowley. An optimist that calls someone giving their floor ice cream to another a good deed while also doing artwork authentication knowing that people just want to scam others. To me it reads more like someone who just knows how to push the other's button. Because without fail (well except the last time ) those emotional responses from Aziraphale lead to Crowley faltering and giving in and usually for Aziraphale to instantly switch moods after. And the one time it doesn't work, Aziraphale digs deep and pushes another button, even going so far as pointing out that he knew all along that Crowley only ever won because he was cheating. That is not a helpless naive damsel. That is an undercover bastard.

I could go on writing a full character analysis from that shit script bc hot damn I got more things to say BUT I won't. Also yes even if it ever got to the screen and with a few edits this version would probably just have been mediocre and I am happy we eventually got the TV show HOWEVER I have a soft spot for bad media, I love good omens and overanalyzing on 'screen' relationship and character dynamics is my hobby so it's just natural I got obsessed with it.

Also please for the love of someone, if there is someone out there at least slightly as obsessed with the shit script as I am, please, please, please get in touch. I have no one to talk about it otherwise pfff

There’s no indication in the text that she received the rigorous education of a male heir, was taught statecraft, how to manage the economy, budgeting, taxes, commerce, trade, agriculture, building infrastructure, or resource scarcity, how to write and pass laws, or anything else that would denote the education of the next ruling monarch. Sure, she was a cupbearer for her father and likely learned through observation, but for god’s sake, this is hardly enough. 

And it’s not Rhaenyra’s fault. Viserys is the one to blame. He didn’t treated her the way Tywin and Doran treat their eldest daughters, but he still failed to give Rhaenyra a strong education, failed to solidify and secure her claim, and failed to protect her against Alicent, and when Rhaenyra objected to the notion of marrying a gay man, the only way Viserys could cow her was by threatening to undo this change in succession, under the rationale of “What a king can make, a king can unmake.”

I argue this is this post here. Somewhat. And in other posts, but yes I don't think he actually trained her to have the equivalent level of skills as men in earlier generations: Baelon, Aemon, Aenys I, even Viserys himself (by Baelon maybe).

Show!version says he loved Aemma and orig!version obviously loved Aemma. But they both pedestalizes Aemma to the degree that Rhaenrya could never be Baelon, her siblings can never be her, and all to never really give us a real picture of who Aemma was so he does not have to divulge how some of his actions have ruined Aemma's life. Helaena not having kids or at least stop having them before Rhaenrya becomes Queen/he dies would have even helped Rhaenyra...smh. He doesn't ever think to not let his daughter Helaena marry at 13 & have TWINS not long after (as Aemma died in part bc she started having children WAY too early after they consummated their marriage); he forces his daughter to marry Laenor to fix a problem he created instead of actually thinking about what would be better for her claim and position--which is not to marry a gay man!, esp when everyone knows he is gay; I mention Alicent already...this is the same guy who marries a 15 year old but gets angry with Daemon for seducing his 19 year old daughter and saying she is just a "girl"...bro...Add on the fact he allowed a faction against his heir and be lead by his second obviously hostile Hand & wife exist in court instead of properly intervening and diminishing Otto and Alicent's influence over Rhaenrya so she wouldn't have to escape to Dragonstone...no self reflection, just constant deflection, ignoring, placating the wrong people, putting his foot down at the wrong moments, not pursuing certain avenues or voids of information like in the Vhagar claim incident AND allowed the same thing that happens to his first wife happen to his next wife and his two daughters...ugh.

He just wanted his cake and eat it, too. To be seen and perceived as a good king, maintain the leftover wealth & picture of generosity/prosperity and "wisdom" Jaehaerys basically left for him, while he really didn't know what to do with his own family and emotions half the time because he never accepted and took responsibility for how he contributed to Aemma's death by continuing to impregnate her (book & show) AND then cutting her open without her consent or informing to extract the son he put above all logic or sense. By doing too much appeasing to get people to like him or feel they have an "in" with him (which people like him can mistake as "liking" or respect) while isolating those who could have only made him stronger through honest loyalty and candor, telling him like it is while keeping that measure of observation (talking about not just Rhaenyra but Dameon here). But Viserys never wanted honesty! He wanted the fantasy of power because he's conflated a lack of accountability or political supremacy with being strong and unflappable. Performing kingship then becomes being a real king, to him.

And really, the system encourages him to be so dishonest bc it asks its nobles and royals to perform pre-conceived and already extant models of behavior and ways of thinking to fulfill their respective roles.

However, it is problematic to put all the blame for Rhaenyra's inability to mentally confront her problems because there is little one can do other than not tax people for money that was stolen from you/the royal treasury, which was a calculated move.

Simultaneously, she is still accountable for her actions against the dragon seeds, particularly Nettles (if she had won, she would have lessened (not necessarily eliminated) the ability for women across the realm to validate their own claims and rights to rule autonomously). She decided that for her to retain one of the only people who has before maintained their loyalties to her, she must kill an innocent that was told to her of being not so innocent. We shouldn't reduce her accountability there, she still absorbed and internalized ideologies that other characters have not in the ASoIaF series despite having classist privileges (Arya & Brienne).

As we saw with Aenys, even training can be useless when the person doesn't observe when they should use violence or other means or see the writing on the wall or inspire actual awe and/or loyalty as Daenerys and Rhaegar and Aegon I, V, Daeron I did. In their own ways, but they got it. For all her faults, Rhaenyra definitely has loyalty and wasn't as horrible as alternative persons to not be named in this post. I don't think she was helplessly stupid so much as mentally and economically debilitated, very aware of her own class and heritage as most nobles are, plus being that heritage of dragonriding--thus her actions against the two Rosby and Stokeworth girls as well as against Nettles. Though her actions against Nettles really turned me off of her, simultaneously, I also do not want anything like the greens to sit that throne and there would have been more systematic benefits from her reign over theirs.

And I do still admire her "confusing" womanhood going against the grain of aesthetically-conscious, nondragonriding (a woman not militaristically useful and overpowering an Andal man), and politically/sexually submissive and chaste noblewoman.

All assertions against her right to rule came from her gender and refusal to conform perfectly to her gender role and behaviors before the Dance and even when Viserya names her, he doesn't let her fully perform heir stuff or give her a chance.

The point is that she didn't deserve to be stifled, treated differently, kept from certain duties, all without her own input or looking for where she was strongest at (which seems to be persuasion and could have been encouraged and cultivated, but no.

and once you notice that you might start to see certain things about the story that will clear up to you that Yoko Taro is a crazy person wtf wtf wtf. Here? Here out of all places? Right in front of my Quirky Video Game Cross-Over?? Did you really think anybody would take this seriously enough to notice any of this???

And I'm perfectly fine with being that guy who shouts into the void that "actually Y:DA is the best, just read this 15-page essay I wrote about how this thing and this thing actually reference a book you don't care about and then three jumps of moon logic later we find ourselves discussing the social mobility of minorities and video games as an art form because I guess that's my life now" only to be told "Bro, It's not that deep" - There is just one problem:

The quest is not called "Crime & Punishment" in Japanese. It's vaguely resembling it in a "X and Y" scheme, but as far as I can tell (using google) it's only called Crime and Punishment in English and German (not in French though) which means my case for "this is defo on purpose" - the only metric of good writing besides "did i like it" - is relying on interpreting a piece of media, which as we all know is not a thing you do with video games.

This situation however also means that one of the following has to be true:

YT meant to do all these CrimePun references and expected people to pick up on them without namedropping the book and the Eng & Ger Localisations knew that (bc of translation notes or something like that) and added a direct reference bc the original quest name was similar anyways.

YT didn't mean to do that and the Eng & Ger Localisations either on their own or together realized that Y:DA had parallels to the book and decided to write CrimePun references into this quest line on their own.

This is just a massive coincidence and everybody involved referenced themes and details of a book that was then also mentioned in two seperate translations by name purely on accident.

Needless to say it's definitely the last one which makes me boo boo the fool as we all know Yoko Taro is a loser and has never used subtext in his life. But if I were ever able to ask him and/or the localisation (who kind of have to know bc they translated it) anything, I would ask them if Y:DA is referencing this book on purpose or not... (YT wouldn't answer that and laugh at me. And then he would call the cops to get me out of his house.)

Literally yes to all of this. None of it made any damn sense and it had to be that the director and writer were telling two different stories. In kdrama land, I think the writer only needs to have the first few scripts ready for the production to pick it up and that's why the director and actors chose it cause those first few eps are like among the best episodes over ever watched. I feel like they starred the drama thinking it would end a certain way and when it didn't the writer didn't want to change her story to adapt to the characters (which to be fair I get that it's her story). I agree with you anon, nobody is arguing about having more female representation in vg. Having diverse rep should be celebrated, instead of being trashed on because certain depictions don’t fit into a narrow set of expectations (like what’s going on here). I’m similar like you that there’s no way I have the muscles mass that Kassandra and Eivor have, I can never be as elegant as Evie and persistent as Amunet, nor I’d be as adventurous and brave as Nadine and Chloe, I sure as Hel won’t be as strong as Senua when facing my own demons, and no I won’t be able to run a bureau without prior training like Jesse Faden on the first day on the job. That is the beauty, isn’t it? We should celebrate the fact that this time around, we get to play as a gnc and queer woman. When I was a kid, I’d often talk to the Vietnamese teenagers/women in my house/neighborhood about their experience outside of my hometown while hand-washing clothes together and they’d tell me so many stories; or watch how badass the landlady in Kungfu Hustle is lol. Similarly, vgs educate me about a wide spectrum of women from different backgrounds and places by letting me (a cishet WOC) experience their stories that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. 

AC doesn’t have a full-fledged character customization so when you play the game, as players you’re supposed to walk in the character’s shoes. If you can’t empathize with a female protag’s story because she doesn’t look like how you expect women to look, and then you bash on her appearance, demanding things to be YOUR way, well. The devs who made Kassandra and Eivor had to “crawl so the next can walk” (nice on, anon!) don’t deserve to be trashed like this. Again, we get changes by acknowledging and celebrating the progress made so far, rather than dismissing it as “lazy” work.

Also, good point about Dag because I get that questioning vibe from him too and it does make more sense if you play as Eivor instead of M_Player; yes, about the queen; and yes about the sexual violence threat that Kjtove made in the opening scene is definitely more disturbing for a woman (I don’t think there’s any debate about this part).

a/n: i hate this a lot, my intrusive thoughts kicked in while writing this so it's painful. i couldn't edit it. i wouldn't write it if it wasn't my first request (thanks btw! i how you like it's :)) i kinda want affirmation that it isn't gross or incesty bc my ocd is a little bitch. i know it's not but my head is bad.

Some people are meant to die. The lucky ones do. The unlucky ones are stuck living. But, most people in this situation, get the gift of death. The Hargreeves siblings (with an exception of one) weren’t as lucky.

The kids had always ranked their trauma, but at a certain age, they couldn’t repeat it anymore. And when their brothers died there was a piece of the pain missing. Diego and Five weren’t close. The golden boy and the piece of shit kid who cries at needles. Guess which was which. 

But, out of the three “angels” Five was Diego’s favorite. When Vanya and Diego practiced guitar at two am Five would always check up on Vanya and make sure she’s okay. You can’t trust anyone in this family, and when he was a kid Diego thought that Five was a prime example of this (but as time went on it disproved this) but at least he cared. Not good at showing it, but still caring.

So, when Five disappeared, Diego didn’t care at first. But as time went on he began to see how the veil covering their fractured lives slowly started to get pulled off. The fractures made it shatter. Every year he missed Five more. Diego missed his brother.

He stayed up with Vanya and helped her make sandwiches, he sat by Five’s statue every year on their birthday, he mailed Allison a picture of her and Five when Claire was born, he told Eudora about Five the first time they heard a missing 13-year-old report on their police scanner.

So yeah, Diego missed Five. Laugh all you want. 

So when a fucking portal opened up out of the sky, Diego was happy. Internally, of course, but happy. Still brooding and never talking to Five, but happy. 

He avoided his little (big?) brother whenever he could. Acting like a divorced couple trading off Klaus in parking lots. 

He wished he could’ve saved Five. Someway, somehow, tackled him to the ground and said “DONT YOU FUCKING ZAP AROUND TODAY”.

But that didn’t happen. And Five got more fucked up than any kid ever deserved to. Diego got fucked up, but Five shouldn’t have to go through that thing alone.

“Hey, dumbass” Diego was sitting in a bar, drawing his sorrows in beer.

He turned around to see his brother behind him, in his stupid uniform from when they were kids (even though one of them still technically was one). “Yeah, ‘bro’”.

“I spent 40 years trying to save your ass and you’re drinking cheap beer and trying to forget the only family you have.”

Diego traced the scar that left his hair missing on his head and wondered if this family was worth remembering. “What’s not to forget.”

Five unusually stayed in silence, and Diego could swear he heard a feeble me but then he snapped back and said “we’re the only thing you have left.”

Diego glared at the kid. “Okay, we’re leaving, c’mon, let’s go.” 

Five glared back with a scalding gaze in his eyes. “Fine. We’re going home.”

He would’ve complained, but arguing with a time-traveling, teleporting, young old man, was not on his agenda. 

He grumbled as he paid his tab, took a last swig of beer, and made his way out of the pub to his car. 

He unlocked and started up his car, and Diego could tell that Five was pissed that he wasn’t driving. Good. No matter how much he wanted to remember, the drive home was muscle memory from anyplace in the city that sold alcohol. Just because he preached to Klaus about not messing up his body, he figured that he was canceling himself out.

Diego pulled the keys out of the ignition and sighed, rubbing his eyes outside of his old house. Five rolled his eyes and opened the car door “come on, let’s get fucking moving. I’ll have mom make us some sandwiches and cider.

No man, however strong, ever wants to go back to the place where his father tortured him and where he had to kill his mom (only to have her resurrected again, but still devastationg. Even though that was exactly what Five was making him do. He didn’t have enough time to think about what Five was feeling, he was the one making him do this.

“Welcome home Diego!” It hurt him that only a few days ago he had to kill her to ‘save’ her. No one should have to do that to their mom. Especially not when your mom was the only thing that kept you from killing yourself when you were 11.

“Hey, mom.” Now he gave her all the hugs he could. 

“Mother, could you please make us some sandwiches?” Five so rudely interrupted.

“Of course Sweetie.” She said smiling at her ‘youngest’ son before she walked out of the room to the kitchen.

Diego grumbled and sat down on the steps, pulling out a knife and twirling it around using his fingers. Five sat down next to him and stared off into the distance.

After a few minutes of (un)comfortable silence, Five interjected. “I never forgot stopped trying to find my family, you know.”

Diego stilled his hands and responded to his brother “what?”

“Every single day for 40 years I tried to get back to my family. Through the scars and the delusions and the trauma, I worked. And now that I’m back no one gives a shit. The apocalypse is in a few days and my siblings are getting wasted and high. A thanks would be nice.” 

Five looked at Diego with anger and sadness.

“You’re my brother. It’s just jealousy and pity. You didn’t have to go through what we did, but you also went through something horrible. We’re numb. After getting broken enough times, your just bendy.”

Five was angry, he stood up and started yelling at Diego, while pacing, which the man sitting on the stairs started playing with his knife again. “I went through hell every single fucking day. And your only excuse is that you sad??? YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND, NO ONE IN THIS FAMILY UNDERSTANDS!!!!” Five was out of breath “No one cares about me.”

This made Diego chuck his knife next to Five’s head “HEY. YOU ARE MY BROTHER AND I’M ALWAYS GOING TO LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT! I care about you, and just because I can’t show it well doesn’t mean that you aren’t my brother and that I missed you! You are always gonna be my brother, which means that I do give a shit.”

Five looked apprehensive at first, then he gave Diego an awkward hug, which Diego then immediately returned, with an equally awkward bear hug. 

“You’re my little bro, and if it makes you feel better, we’ll save the world I guess.”

Shota Aizawa

- he absolutely has at LEAST 3 cats, he spoils the heck out of them too. that's why he's always eating those gel packs... he spends too much on his cats.

- he really does love his class. and we all know honey??? u haven't expelled any of them. ur soft for them ok.

- he likes to sleep with his cats bc he gets lonely at night... he will not admit it, but he likes having someone/something there :)

- he has reuccuring nightmares about the usj attack and how he could have failed to save his students

- has a very low alcohol tolerance and often ends up getting dragged back to his apartment by mic or midnight when they go out whilst he rambles and whines the entire time

- he hates crying and tries his best to keep his emotions held in, he's only cried in front of a select few people

- he tries not to let others opinions on him rule his life and tends to block it out if someone hates him

- he doesn't know it, but he is the entirety of class 1-a's dad.

- i like to think she and mic are like... EPIC bros, she loves to paint his nails and do his hair while gossiping with him (aizawa would NEVER let her do this to him lmao)

- she isn't a mom, but finds the idea of having her own children very nice, for now having a cat will suffice

- she enjoys trying to make all might flustered, she thinks his reactions to things are always very cute and funny (it's all in good fun!)

- she's the mom friend! though she may seem very sexual, which she undoubtedly is, she is also very caring and has a very nuturing motherly personality, she's a lot more than just fanservice !!!!!

Todoroki Shoto

- completely oblivious when it comes to love... he doesn't even understand his own crushes

- "of course you can borrow my credit card uraraka" *pulls out endeavors card which he sneakily took*

- would be the person to tell a child that their pet guinea pig didn't go to heaven and be confused when they start sobbing... like "what... don't be honest?"

- allows his friends to huddle up to his warm side when they are cold

- is confused when people show him copious amounts of love and affection

- he would beat up anyone if they tried to do ANYTHING bad to midoriya

- he wants more friends. he really is enjoying meeting new people and having some new friends at ua!

- he gives really good hugs, he doesn't try to hug you too tight, but he doesn't half ass it either, very nice and warm

- he hates his scar. like. a lot. he wants to cover it up so bad but it just doesn't work. he's afraid it'll make other people scared of him.

Shinsou Hitoshi

- loves patd! and fall out boy, a brendon urie STAN

- loves to kiss his kitties on the forehead but dreads human interaction

- he loves to squish his cats' toebeans... he takes pictures of them and posts them to his secret cat social media acc

- he is gay but doesn't know how to feel about it and/or come out, he's really nervous and doesn't trust people to accept him

- he doesn't smile often but when he does it's the cutest thing ever

- he secretly really likes deku and kaminari and is hesitant about accepting their friendship, but appreciates the gestures a lot

- he suffers with social anxiety and doesn't really know how to make friends very well??? like, in middle school people were total dickbags to him so he kinda just closed himself off and decided he was gonna like... not make friends, but now that there's nice people around him he just kind of- doesn't know how

- this is actually canon! but he feels guilty about having to manipulate people when he uses his quirk, during the 4th school briefs book he feels guilty when he overhears midoriya and ojiro talking about him using his quirk during the sports festival, and he's like "i wish ojiro would say something rude about me to show he's angry so i wouldn't have to feel so guilty about this" since ojiro showed no ill feelings towards him

Izuku Midoriya

- "hold on I'll go get a blanket!" *opens closet* *thousands of all might figurines tumble out*

- watches cat vine compilations until 2 am, than freaks out when he realizes it is 2 am

- very good with children!

- used to be very self conscious about his freckles bc of bakugou insulting them; hid them with concealer for a while until someone told him they were beautiful

- loves his momma so muchhh he would do anything for her, he likes to surprise her with small favors to see her happy

- does not understand the concept of letting people handle their own problems

- stays after to class to offer his teachers help

- he has a lot of self doubts and is still struggling to this day to come to terms with the fact that he is worthy of having one for all

- he wants to learn how to cook for his mom and friends

Kyoka Jirou

- she is a lesbian!!!!! she has a crush on momo but is completely convinced that it's unrequited

- struggled with judgmental kids in middle school because of her sexual identity and style

- gets very easily flustered by anyone complimenting her

- that one person sitting at the back of the bus with their earbuds blasting full volume

- was a GOD at guitar hero

- acts like she's fed up with kaminari's (which she can be sometimes), but truly he's one of the people she can trust the most. she secretly appreciates the way he hypes up her talents and how he really helps her through the day sometimes!

- she loves heroes so much... when she was a little girl and didn't know what to do she'd ask herself "what would my favorite heroes do!?"

- she also secretly buys hero merch but hides it in fear of her being seen as sappy

Amajiki Tamaki

- would have trouble standing up for himself but if he sees ANYONE messing with mirio he WILL throw hands

- likes to watch bob ross videos when hes feeling anxious

- he once went to a butterfly museum with his parents and cried out of joy when one landed on his nose

- leaves food out for strays in his neighborhood, ends up attracting an entire hoard of animals.

- he can paint very nicely, he began to paint after he discovered bob ross

- mirio then saw his paintings and showed the entire class to tamaki's dismay, but everyone absolutely LOVED them!!!

- every day he becomes more and more capable and sure of himself, he is still very anxious, but he's learning to open up and embrace his talents <3

- he really loves to listen to music and any time he's not around others he'll probably have earbuds in, gently swaying back and forth to whatever he has on

- nejire loves to try out new hairstyles on him, and strangely enough, tamaki lets her, he loves it when people play with his hair

Shirakumo Oboro

- shares one collective braincell with mic

- that one person that brings EVERYONE valentine treats on valentines day at school

- most likely plays ding dong ditch

- *draws stick figure* "ah yes. just like van goh" (he cannot draw)

- hates to see his friends (and even random strangers upset) and will go out of his way to do dumb things to make them smile

- probably played soccer

- he's a massive flirt and likes to believe he will become a stereotypical anime protagonist with a massive harem

- he really wants to see aizawa come out of his shell more and tries his best to encourage him to see the best in everything

- he has most likely worn a schoolgirl uniform to class once

- he's very affectionate and loves to hug his friends (even if they don't want hugs), it's his way of showing he likes people

Hizashi Yamada

- he lives off of caffeine. he is a teacher, pro hero, and radio show host, im honestly not sure how he does it

- gives out stickers when students get the correct answer in class and has class parties when they are well behaved for the semester

- just like everyone else, he has his own turmoil as well, he likes to stay busy because it prevents him from having a lot of time to dwell on the past

- he gives really good hugs, and loves to feel the touch of others, it's very comforting to him

- was probably pretty troublesome when he was very young while he learned to get control of his quirk

- overall a really happy and excitable guy, he loves being the center of attention and if he can make people happy by being what he is, that's awesome!

- he shows his appreciation for people in odd ways, but he always means good, even if his wild antics can be a bit stressful lol

- he likes to sing a lot and does it a bunch when he's alone, he can also play a lot of instruments

- he can be very serious if needed, he does often put on a persona when he's present mic

- when he's hizashi (out of hero persona) he's even more of a dork than usual, very goofy, awkward and pouty. a manchild.
