When my time comes around
Lay me gently in the cold, dark earth
No grave can hold my body down

Hey Petty. How's the pride watch going, fam? How we feeling about them magic swords et al?
Um, I'm a summer baby, so once my skin feels sun, the streets start calling and I forget how to act, which means . . .
I'm still on episode eleven of The Untamed.
But listen, Linda, listen, escúchame. Fuddy Duddy left in the middle of the night, all hell broke loose, shit went down in the Cloud Cult, then HE IGNORED MY BOY, so I'm too upset to continue! Like I understand the vibes are in hell (literally since they were forced to go to the Fire Nation), but at least he could acknowledge my boy since HE IS IN LOVE WITH HIM!
I have drag brunch today then pride on the pitch, so I'm going to watch Wandee Goodday, go day drinking, squeeze in another episode of The Untamed while the alcohol is in my system, so I won't be too upset at Fuddy Duddy, go yell at men on a field to rid myself of some of the anger I feel toward this one fictional man, then recommit to finishing this show regardless of how mad I am at Fuddy Duddy.
Because Wuxian is the only one I respect in this house, so I am really mad at this man on his behalf (even though my boy could never be mad at his boyfriend).
Like really mad.

High-echelon Mawkin suit modules can be pretty wild, and the Energy conversion module in Raven Beak's suit is no exception.
When exposed to an active current or energy field, the module accounts for the level of charged particles in the local atmosphere and converts the detected matter to power. Most substantial forms of power and radiation are compatible with its function, and it's calibrated to work more efficiently when exposed to substantially powerful forms of plasmic matter.
The conversion module is similar to (but should not be confused with) the thermal charge module, which charges the power suit in extreme heat. That technology is also implemented in the protective exosuits found in Cataris' lava zone. The Mawkin use thermal energy to power a number of their facilities: that they'd implement it in their more mobile works is only natural.
Back to the subject at hand, the conversion module's practicality is twofold: to keep Raven Beak's suit sufficiently charged and to maintain his vigor in battle. His particular biometric modifications are such that his suit, combined with his level of physical fitness, can theoretically keep him fighting without fear of exhaustion in perpetuity.
Raven Beak's juiced up version of lightning armor is the inverse of this module: it absorbs charged particles for the purpose of coalescing into a projected wave. The use of lightning armor in this manner negates the function of the conversion module for restorative purposes. Additionally, lightning armor works best against oncoming projectiles, while the reactive conversion module is at its peak when the suit is exposed to ambient radiation or concentrated, consistent flows of power.
Suffice to say, Raven Beak is probably the only person who could stick a fork in an electrical socket and have it do the exact opposite of killing him.

Okay but the fist fight scene is Yosuke finally trying to stop putting Yu in a pedestal, he knows that admiration/devotion/slighty jealousy he has for him is not healthy at all, "crap he must throw away", he made it clear before asking him to get knocked, he appreciates him, part of him even loves him, but he thinks he deserves a good punch to get some sense into him. When Yu says "let's punch each other, so we can be equals" it's totally a way of showing how this two's relathionship feels less one-sided and more like partners.
That's why i do believe the anime did such a good job with this scene, specially that It was after the whole almost killing Namatame thing, Yosuke owns him an apalogy and both of them needs to make this better, feel better about themselves and each other, and It fucking worked, despite Yosuke was capable of making Yu feel better aside of himself afterwards, and that's what makes their relathionship so interesting, they're not perfect, but for sure they're two flawed people that can overcome anything if they propose it, remember, they're two fucking 16 years old.
And hot take, but persona 4 should have been written like persona 3, their persona evolution should have been outside of their social links, bc in that way their characters could have been more flashed out, i was dissapointed the fist fight didn't happened in the same time it happened in the anime, bc making It in his social link, not only some people may miss it, but It also felt a little weird, making the characters's actions or behaviour seem out of place in the main story depending of which part of the sl are you, such a significative changes in the characters shouldn't stay in an optional "hang out" option and i stay by this opinion
