Welp, i've been convinced Here's my sonadow kiddo (though technically he has Silver's DNA in him as well), Sony !! These drawings are about a month old, but I've been itching to draw him more anyway - Put a bunch of em on one canvas, and snipped some closeups!

He's a lab baby from around 500 years in the future, made from preserved samples of Shadow, Sonic, and Silver's DNA He's still got some lore to be figured out but hey, I like drawing him regardless of whether his backstory is consistent yet :D

you only visit this place once in the main game but there are so so many things i could say about it. man the neku-josh-sho week 2 dynamic was the wildest and funniest thing in the world

sp/sx is the glorified type 8 of dumbogram. What I mean by this is that enneagram cult leaders see this stacking as The Cool Stacking For Edgelords and they gatekeep it like hell. In reality no actual sp/sx would gatekeep sp/sx because the nature of this type is that we do not care what you identify as, we are too self absorbed.

Once again I stress that if you are concerned with your social image of being an Edgelord, like if it's so important to you that you type yourself and others based on it then you probably aren't soc-blind. The exception here is soc-blind 4s and 4-fixes, since 4s are an image type invested in their image of being an edgy outcast no matter what their stacking is. If you aren't a 4 or a 4 fix and you care about your image of edginess, that is soc.

I only gatekeep sp/sx from idiots who preach that being sp/sx means being edgy and being a busybody who tells other people their unwanted opinions about how they're supposedly mistyped. This is literally the opposite of what an sp/sx does or cares about doing. The whole art of going around saying this and that person is mistyped, and dishing out battletypings, is a social power game. Soc-blinds might briefly engage in that stuff then drop out of it and avoid it, because social power games are exhausting and confusing to us. Nobody who does this shit chronically or regularly is a soc-blind.

Regarding being edgy, soc-blinds are often provocateurs but we end up being so unintentionally. Soc-blinds often express our opinions which are detached from the social consensus and get backlash. This is different to being an intentional provocateur... The kind of person who knows they are going to get backlash and speaks anyway because they enjoy the conflict and the arguing. The intentional provocateur stacking is sp-blind.

No sp-dom enjoys conflict unless it has a direct money or resource prize on it.

things i like abt the german language as someone trying to learn german

-words are pronounced exactly the way theyre spelled

-english is germanic, so many words are similar enough that u can easily figure out the meaning jst by looking at the word (Milch=Milk, Buch=Book, Bruder=Brother, Schwester=Sister, etc etc)

-other words are just word+word and german is so Literal with naming shit so if u know some words its easy to kinda figure out what smthng means (Handschuhe = literally, “Hand Shoes” = Gloves)

-vocabulary is So Easy to remember bc of these above 3 points like frfr

-GENDERED NOUNS can die (DER DIE DAS)

-DECLENSIONS are AAAA (DEN DEM DES)

-CONJUGATIONS as well are horrible (especially PAST TENSE VERBS and literally every conjugation of the verb WERDEN) (its so HARD to remember and understand)

-PLURAL VERSIONS of nouns are so DUMB (it makes NO SENSE)

There is something incredibly charming about the bitchy-older-man-who-hates-kids-develops-a-meaningful-healthy-relationship-with-a-parentless-child trope. Especially in a world where nearly every movie/novel/whatever has to have a romantic plot/subplot when there are a plethora of other options. It’s a trope that carries great weights of love, caring, and understanding without being romantic; it expresses a different kind of love that is equally important in this world. To open your heart to a child and become the friend or parental figure they not only need but deserve is such a beautiful thing, and to watch a child help an adult learn something new about the world and the way they see it is a constant reminder that people will always have room to grow and change. To see an adult learn as much from a child as the child learns from them, sometimes even more so, is the reminder that so many people need that wisdom often comes in the form of a fresh perspective.

hello beloved tumblr mutuals and followers. posting to say that i am in fact not dead and have been hiding in a cave and licking the water off the stalagmites for sustenance (i had a bit of a mental health crisis and needed a break from being a normal human being, so i just have been lightly lurking on tumblr for the past like 4 or so months. but i think i am ready to come back soon????).

good news, though: i have written some more fanfic including the fic i wrote for the amphibia's greatest treasures zine that i will publish soon!!! i hope some of yall will read it. and possibly give it some notes. that would make me happy :]
