OK, fair warning to the few people I actually managed to convince to try the game??

Rain world does NOT play like hollow knight, and you'll get your butt kicked if you approach it like that.

It's really hard. Like, really hard. Instead of the game literally giving you abilities in the form of power-ups and damage buffs, the only abilities you gain is from what you learn and your own ingenuity. You're a rat from beginning to end. If you just beef your way through it, it's gonna suck and you're gonna be confused and frustrated all the time. But if you pay attention, take it slow, and learn how the ai works and how everything interacts with each other, you can consistently get through and dominate situations you thought were impossible to do so when you first began. Now get out there, kill some lizards, and bully some old computers!

He’s so warm. From the nearby stage lights, the lingering effects of their shared plate of chicken wings, the combined body heat in the packed venue. Warm and loose, everything around him a bit fuzzy at the edges.

Eddie and Shannon. Shannon and Eddie. Evan can’t seem to stop staring at them both. The pink flush high on her cheeks. His soft hair and sharp jaw. How her mouth effortlessly [settles] into a near permanent smirk. How his eyes suddenly find somewhere new to focus when he realizes he’s been caught staring at Evan.

Beyond their individual traits, he finds them complementary. They’re enticing enough on their own, but together they become an elevated art form. Like Rodin’s Eternal Springtime or a Beethoven duet he heard once, composed for french horn and cello.

Skimblegus Family Time--Tumble takes after Asparagus more and more the older he gets, but Teazer takes after Skimble a lot more than people give her credit for. They're both these very bright, clever, and relentlessly cheerful cats who try to put a brave face on things and hide when they're not at their best. But when they crash, they crash hard; it became a bittersweet source of reconnection after she was free of Macavity, especially since Teazer didn't realize her dad ever had bad days. She can basically only stand to be around her dads, Tumble, and Mungojerrie on particularly awful days, and Skimble's learned more from Asparagus about how not to just pack those emotions away to worry about later. Plus, you know she's feeling better when she and Tumble can start picking at each other again.

I love it so much, and I love this little family <3

Hit a new low point in my life - ended up in the ER without remembering a thing. A nurse told me I collapsed in front of the psychiatry doors lmao but I don't even remember being there. Stayed in the ER literally all afternoon and evening, vomiting all over myself. I don't have any exchange clothes so I smell like sweat and vomit and wodka and all that's on my mind is that I want a cigarette 🙃 Anyway. The ER people brought me back to the psychiatry. Crazy. I couldn't even walk. Was brought here in a bed. Texted my helper people to say I might want / need to go back to assisted living because obviously I'm too fucked to live on my own rn.

I have two wounds in my face now - from falling. Like I said, I don't remember a thing but my head hurts like hell.
