Chase:
Today is a really weird day and I didn’t know how I would feel about coming over to my best friend Bryce’s house especially after the incident.
Bryce and I have been friends for over 12 years now and him and I have always been a couple of scrawny gay nerds. We both love Minecraft legend of Zelda, just about every video game you can think of and one way we really bonded was figuring out that we are both gay.
Now for years, I’ve always known that Bryce had a crush on me. For me it was never that I didn’t like Bryce or I was never interested, but I never wanted to ruin the friendship. But then you have Walker is older brother. Walker is a few years older than us. He’s super handsome, athletic, charming, he could basically date anyone he laid his eyes on.
The truth is Walker was my sexual awakening for years. I’ve stayed at their house and spent the night and it wouldn’t be uncommon to see Walker come out and nothing but basketball shorts hell I don’t even think he would wear underwear sometimes.
I can remember the way seeing him made me blush, and I tried my hardest not to stare at him. I don’t know if Walker could tell that I was checking him out. Or maybe Walker was just used to people checking him out shouldn’t be any surprise that his little brother‘s gay friend had his eyes glued to him.
And somehow he continues to keep getting hotter and hotter and hotter…
So several weeks ago, Bryce and Walker’s family went on vacation to some tropical island. And something very strange happened while touring an old temple. How Bryce explained it to me was that they had a sign up that specifically said, “ please do not touch artifact.”
Bryce can be such a stickler for rules and I can almost see it in my head. It all went down. Bryce told Walker not to touch it. Walker likes to get on Bryce‘s nerves Walker reaches for it and then shit got real quick. Because Walker and Bryce have now switched bodies.
When Bryce was explaining all this to me, I really thought it was bullshit. I mean, who would believe that that sounds like something from a movie and yet even hearing Walker‘s voice, I can tell just by the tone that it’s Bryce.
So today is the first day that I have seen Bryce since he swapped bodies with Walker. And that’s why I feel all kinds of weird.
Now Bryce and I have stayed with each other like 1 million times and it’s really not unusual for us to be basically naked around each other. OK maybe not completely naked but like at least in her underwear.
And I have tried really, really hard to make him feel comfortable and I think I’m doing a really good job but having him standing in front of me in just his brother’s boxers is driving me a bit insane.

I’m sitting on Bryce‘s bed and walks back into his room just to ask me if I wanted anything from downstairs like something to drink or maybe a snack. I can barely get out the words because I can’t stop staring at the chiseled God in front of me.
“ chase you’re staying the night right?,” he asked me.
“ oh yeah, of course I’m staying the night as long as that’s OK.”
“ yeah man of course it’s okay! You know it’s okay man. No one cares you stay the night. You’re like basically family sides. My brother isn’t going to be home tonight. He’s wanted a lot of space since the whole. I’ve got his body thing. And both my parents are out of town so it’s just gonna be us,” he says with a side smirk.
“ well if it’s just us what do you wanna get into tonight?,” I say trying to make conversation.
I’m holding my eye contact directly at his face and I try my hardest not to look anywhere else, but he takes his hand and start scratching his balls and I can almost feel my whole cock twitch.
“ I mean since everybody’s not here tonight, we can always break into my parents liquor cabinet, whoop whoop!”
You know I am probably the most innocent 18 year-old alive, I don’t wanna attend parties nor do I really sneak around my parents but I feel like alcohol sounds like a great idea right now. I mean it I might be able to calm down a bit.
“Hell yeah! That’s sounds fun!,” I say with some enthusiasm.
“Bet! Be right back!”
I hear as heavy feet running down the stairs and all I can do is try to think of something that would totally turn me off like anything taxes, my grandparents, just something…
And yet all I can think about is how hot it would be if I could suck on his toes. I’ve had a thing for feet a while now and it’s taking me a little bit to accept it and a part of that I blame Walker for him because he has some sexy ass feet.
I can remember clearly the smell of his feet after he would finish football practice and he would pull off his shoes. Shit! Fuck! I’m so hard right now. I feel like I’m gonna have to sneak away and beat one out in the bathroom just to clear my head.

And then here comes Bryce with two glasses in his hand and a bottle of wine for the both of us just super eager.
I reposition myself to where I’m laying flat on my stomach so he doesn’t notice.
Bryce hops on to the bed with me and try’s his hardest to navigate a wine opener.
“Geez, I have no clue what I’m doing here…”
I eventually take it and started twisting in. I try to pull it out but struggle.
“Here since you now have all of the muscles.”
He rolls his eyes at me and tugs it out.
“Success!”
“Good team work there he-man,” I say playfully.
Bryce’s pours both of us a glass and at first I thought it tasted awful. But the second glass… now I see why people like it. I feel so warm inside and relaxed.
We both lay back in his bed.
“Is it super weird for you?,” I ask him.
“What?”
“You know… being in your Walkers body.”
“Um… yes. Yes and no I guess. I feel like everything has just moved so quick since the trip. I feel very different in public, like I’m so much more noticed. girls hit on me… so do guys. It’s a lot to take in especially since you and my family are the only ones who know about it.”
“What about Walker’s girlfriend?”
“Oh he broke up with her, thought it would be less weird. Although he had to do it over text because I refused to call or see her in person.”
“Damn! That’s crazy.”
“Yeah but she was like his girlfriend for the month, nothing serious.”
Of course…
“So is this pretty permanent?”
“Yeah I think so, unless you know of any other magic objects than can reverse it haha.”
“No, not off of the top of my head,”I say jokingly.
“Well… that answers your question. This is my body now. This is the new me I guess,” he says looking his muscles over.
I look them over as well and then my eyes draw this briefs… he’s got a hard on…

Bryce catches my eyes and says, “you wanna touch it?”
“What?!?”
“Come on Chase… don’t play games with me. I know you and I know you’ve had the hots for this body. I’ve known for years now.”
I take a deep breath… I feel my nervous all over again.
“It’s okay, I know you like this body. It’s my body now. And I want you to touch my massive dick.”
“But Bryce!”
“Shhh! Chase I’ve had a crush on you for years and I know you would never fool around with me. And now I have the body you’ve been lusting for years now. TOUCH MY MASSIVE DICK PLEASE!”
“Fuck, okay.”
I start touching it from the outside and it does feel huge!
“You know I love you Bryce, you’re the most important person to me. I just never wanted us to loose our friendship. It’s why I never tried anything with you.”
“I know. And listen I know you weren’t trying to go after my brother. I know what he looks like. Everyone does. But now I have the body and the personality so, I’m giving you no choice but to date me. Got it?”
“Ugh fine,” I say rolling my eyes.
“Now can you do me a favor?”
“Sure!”
“Can I see your feet?” he says to me.
Wow! Wasn’t expecting that!
“Wait why?”
“I hope you don’t think this is weird but I have a thing for them.”
“Shut up! So do I!”
“You do?!?”
“Yeah especially…,” I eye down to his feet and wiggles his toes.
“Oh my god! This is about to be a wild night!”
“Wait, can I kiss you?”
“Please!”
Part 2 Coming…

quiet - Chris Sturniolo

fratboy!chris × jealous!reader
(dividers from @animatedglittergraphics-n-more)
disclaimer: the following content is not suitable for an underage audience. please, if you are a minor do not interact in any way or form. thank you. check the trigger warning before reading, enjoy!
t.w: inappropriate language, unprotected sex (don't), a tiny bit of degrading language, jealousy, alcohol, I think nothing more.
a.n: soo...i'm impatient. i had planned to post this story on the 31st, once the poll ended, but i really don't like to wait that much. however, the results are clear: chris smut won with the 52.9%!
when you spot your boyfriend chris flirting with another girl at the Halloween party, you decide to take the matter in your hands and make him jealous thanks to matt. what you don't know, is that chris is keeping a close eye on you.
“i really don’t wanna go to this stupid party, nick.”
“i know, but you know what?” nick put his hands on my shoulders, a gentle yet firm grip. he looked at me in the eyes, then said “at least you look hot as fuck, and that’s all that matters. walk through those doors as if your pussy is made out of gold, and see what happens.”
i smiled at my best friend. with new-found confidence, i walked towards the doors, swaying my hips in my skimpy DCC cheerleaders white shorts that left nothing to the imagination. nick followed right through, adjusting the fake fangs in his mouth. he was one hell of a hot vampire.
as we entered the halloween-decorated fraternity of our college, we were immediately pulled aside by matt, who was waiting for us right at the entrance. blue and purple lights caressed his face, creating weird shadows all around.
“fuckin’ finally! what took you so long?”
“are your eyes actually open? don’t you see how hot we both look? good things are always the last to arrive.” i chuckled as nick pulled me in a side hug to prove a point to his brother.
i eyed matt up and down one last time. even in the weird colored lights, i noticed that something was off. “wait, why aren’t you dressed up?”
“cause i’m getting the fuck out of here, i was waiting for you two just because i don’t want to leave chris here under the influence without one of us to check on him.”
“he’s already drunk?”
“yeah, you surprised?”
i looked around, trying to find that dumb-fuck, with no luck.
“c’mon, let’s get the party started!” nick grabbed my hand, pushing through the crowd of sweaty and dressed up people to get us to the drinks.
“do you want to drink anything?” he screamed loud enough for me to understand him over the blasting music. i shook my head, still trying to find chris. i picked at my skin, worry eating me alive: where the fuck was he? he was drunk, what if he did something stupid, or worse, dangerous?
then, i spotted him: hidden in the corner of the room with some random girl, running his hand through his hair held back by the headband of his basketball player costume. she was talking about something, and i could see clearly the strand of blonde hair that he was playing with twirling in his hand as he leaned on the wall, with the cocky grin of someone who believes that he has the world at his feet.
i felt a wave of nausea hit me, hands shaking by my sides.
nick followed my gaze, spotting his brother. his hand stopped midway, the red cup never reaching his lips. “no way…” he whispered. weirdly enough, i heard that.
just as i was ready to leave everything and get the fuck out of there, nick stopped me.
“let me go, nick, i don’t want to spend another second here.”
“absolutely not.”
“nick, please.” tears pricked at my eyes, making it hard for me to keep them back.
“i can bet you a hundred bucks right now that he’s trying to work you up. two can play that stupid game, y/n, and you've got plenty of people who've been eyeing you up and down since we arrived. go out there and get him back."
i took a napkin, drying my tears before they could fall and ruin my makeup.
an idea popped up in my mind. i turned towards the door, spotting matt, ready to leave.
"nick, quick, how mean would it be if i took revenge with matt?"
"honestly? a lot", he begun, pulling out his phone, dialling matt's number. "but you know what? i support women's rights as well as women's wrongs. go do your thing, baby."
we watched as matt picked up the phone, turning towards us. nick told him to come to us before he left, and so he did.
"matt, go and dance with y/n. don't ask questions, we'll explain everything later."
matt looked at me with a puzzled look on his face, but he didn't complain when i pulled him through the crowd, right in the middle of the room.
"i'm sorry, matt, just a little payback to your dumb brother."
i briefly explained to him what happened, what we saw, and nick's idea, so that he knew what was actually happening.
"you know what? i need a tiny bit of alcohol in me, then we can truly give chris payback."
i watched as one of his friends brought him a red cup. he gulped it down, waiting for the alcohol to hit.
and when it did, we had the best night ever: we laughed, danced, twirled together. soon enough, everyone's eyes were on us, some were judging, others having fun with us. at a certain point i might have drunk something too, cause i found myself grinding against matt. and god knows how private we actually are around each other in our daily life.
i felt matt's hands travelling up my sides, pushing his hips against mine, making me feel his erection. i threw my head back against his shoulder as he placed wet kisses down my neck, hands squeezing me closer to him. soft breaths came out of my parted lips, losing myself in the moment: maybe it was the alcohol, or the music, or the knowledge that everyone does some dumb shit during halloween night and then act the next day like nothing happened, but i had a strong urge to grab him and kiss him, to feel his lips dance on mine, our bodies so close one another that they physically couldn't get closer.
just as i turned around, intoxicated enough to actually kiss him, a strong hand pulled me away from my friend.
"wha-" i turned around, welcomed by the sight of a pissed off chris: jaw clenched, eyes fixed on a spot in front of him, dragging me around the room, elbowing whoever dared to step in front of him.
i tried to free myself from his grip, pulling and tugging with all my might, but he didn't even bulge a tiny bit. "where the fuck do you think you are taking me-"
"quiet."
"chris i swear-"
"shut the fuck up," he growled. he dragged me up the stairs, stopping in front of a door. he opened it and pushed me inside.
he locked the door behind me, pushing me against it. his lips immediately found mine, kissing me roughly. it was an angry kiss, a forceful one. it was screaming vendetta, jealousy, hurt.
i tugged at his hair as his tongue made its way in my mouth. his hands gripped my hips, so hard that i was sure they would leave marks. he hooked his hand under my knee, pushing my leg up and around his waist. i tiptoed with the other leg, trying to gain a bit of height.
chris pressed his erection right against my pussy, grinding slightly to tease me.
"chris," i moaned, every little noise swallowed by his lips.
"such a whore," he growled, lifting me up. both my legs wrapped around his waist to steady myself, as my back hit the door behind me. from this new position, i could feel his tip pushing right at my entrance.
"you really had to go all out and fuck my brother, didn't you? such a needy slut."
"the only slut here is you, flirting with that little friend of yours."
he snorted, clearly pissed off at my comeback.
"you really have no idea of what is coming, ma."
chills ran down my spine at that threat, at his dark voice and blown out pupils. he had the look of someone ready to eat you alive, and that was probably his intent.
"how pathetic," he mumbled before ripping apart the tight fabric of my shorts, leaving me completely bare.
i gasped, trying to pull away. "my shorts!"
"oh please," he started, "they were covering nothing. you could walk out there like this and no one would notice the difference."
he pressed me harder against the door as he pulled down his pants, just enough for his dick to spring out.
"hope matt got you wet enough," he chuckled ironically, then pushed himself right in, to the brim.
a chocked out moan left my lips, as chris started thrusting fast and hard inside me.
"oh chris- fuck."
"yeah? feels good? bet matt couldn't fuck you like i do."
i threw my head against the door while i clawed at his back, his jersey stopping me from leaving marks all over his back.
"ngh- so big, chris...please," i whimpered, trying to adjust to his size and rhythm. chris's lips attached to my neck, leaving kisses all around. as his mouth travelled down to my cleavage, he started to bite and nip at my skin, making sure that it would bruise.
"fuck-," he pulled out, quickly putting me down and bending me over the desk right by the door. whose room was that, again?
he pushed himself right in again, gripping my hips. he pounded into me so hard that the desk was banging against the wall with every thrust.
the room filled with the sound of our bodies slapping together, moans and groans as the music resonated faintly.
"such- a whore, fuck!" i felt him shudder; his hand flew quickly at the base of his cock, squeezing slightly to prevent himself from cumming yet.
"you're fuckin'mine, got that? mine."
one hand grabbed my asscheek, slapping it right after. and then again, and again, until i was left trembling and crying, overstimulated from the pleasure and pain that he was inflicting me.
his thrusts grew sloppy and unsteady as he approached his release. "chris, please, please, i wanna cum so bad" i sniffled, gripping the desk until my knuckles turned white to ground myself.
"no."
"please-"
"you can hold it. you're not cumming until i tell you to."
i bit my hand lightly, trying to focus on his orders. but it was just so hard, and he was fucking me just so good, hitting that sweet spot over and over again, that i knew i couldn't last for much longer.
a low guttural moan escaped from chris's lips as my walls clenched around him hard, pushing both of us even closer to our orgasms.
with a particular deep thrust, he tipped over the edge, spilling inside me, filling me with his hot cum. he groaned relieved as he thrusted slow and soft inside me, riding the waves of his climax.
i screamed, unable to contain my orgasm anymore, shaking as i came down from my high. i whimpered, laying down on the desk, the cool wood making me shiver all around.
"good job, ma," he whispered, stroking my back and kissing my shoulder. "such a good girl f'me, hm?"
his arms wrapped around my waist, helping me up. i leaned into him, grabbing his jersey for support.
"was i too rough?" i shook my head, leaning back to look at him in the eyes. a question bursted out, unable to stay put anymore.
"who was that girl?" chris looked taken back by the sudden question, but he had no problem answering. he shrugged, "i have no idea, i just wanted to work you up. you always give your best with angry sex."
i looked at him flabbergasted, ready to actually pick up a fight. "chris i swear-"
"shush mamas, let's get you something to actually cover up, hm? don't wanna go out there covered in marks and with no pants on, right?"

"Kiss. Teach. Love!"
(Mr. Crawling x GN! Reader)
No way, NotHomeGal actually revived? Yup, I did. Homicipher brought me back to life from the depts of my creative burnout (o゜▽゜)o☆
This game really scratched a part of my brain I didn't know was there, but I'm not complaining!
And no, I won't be abandoning the slasher fandom, but I must say it will take some time to come back to write those right now, but I'll do my best to rekindle that spark!
Okay, enough of my yapping. Hope you enjoy this Oneshot (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
Summary: after learning that sometimes objects from the human world may fall into the realm you're currently stuck in, it became a common activity for you to scavenge around the junk to pass time, and your ghost companion always seems so curious about it!
Warnings: none really just fluff, Mr. Crawling being too cute for a mortal soul to handle.
Side note: yeah just like in most (basically all) of my fics, MC (or Y/N) will be Gender Neutral! So everyone gets to enjoy the story with their favorite ghost man :]
AND! Here's the link of the dictionary I used for the fic to put ghost words heheerhkj.
Word count: 3.6k
It's been so long, they think at least. Time feels stuck in place, yet in the deepest part of (Y/N)'s conscience they know it's not true, that the time and everything outside these lifeless concrete walls is very much alive.
Life goes on, it keeps moving regardless if they feel it or not, time is passing just like it always did... Yet, they feel stuck. Numb. It's like their mind and soul are slowly melting, becoming one with this dimension they begrudgingly started to call "home", even if it's not... This is not their real home!...
It's not!...
It's not...
It's not...?
—"☨ д つ 々?"— (Sad)
A quiet gasp left (Y/N)'s lips when suddenly something brushed against their leg as that soft voice spoke next to them, that "something" being the very long, dark hair of their ghost companion.
They turn their head, almost flinching at the sight of how close Mr. Crawling was to them. Shoot, sometimes they forget how unnerving his appearance is, especially when he creeps up on them like this, though unintentionally.
—"ત ટ д ☨ д つ 々?"— (You Sad)
He repeated the question, his usual smile now replaced with a small frown. His voice quiet and soft as always, but with that subtle quiver at the end that appeared whenever he's concerned.
(Y/N)'s breath almost hitched from that little but oh so sweet display of care. Even after all the time spent side by side with Mr. Crawling, they still periodically wonder what the hell did they do to deserve such kind perso... Ghost, in their life.
Before the entity's worry could grow, (Y/N) flashed him with a smile, shaking their head a little.
—"I'm alright, just a little distracted."—
Their answer did seem to soothe the ghost's worry a little. However, he leaned closer, more of his hair falling into (Y/N)'s body, sending small shiver through their form as the black locks brushed their legs, sensation that resembling a small breeze of air running across their skin. An odd, chilly feeling... But one that became very comforting and grounding for the human over the time, as it was like a gentle reminder of Mr. Crawling's presence, that they weren't alone.
—"つ ત บ บ λ ป こ ৺ נ ८ ک ટ ? つ ત บ บ つ ኟ บ ટ ?"— (Not Bad Feel Not Scared)
Their smile faltered for a brief moment, knowing exactly what he was talking about...
Even if it's been quite a while since (Y/N) had one of those episodes of fear and hallucinations, the memories of them are still haunting the human in one way or another, leaving this uncomfortable sensation under their skin. It's like feeling hands, snaking all over their body, slowly slipping under their clothes, creeping through their skin and flesh, trying to dig deeper and deeper, right to their very core, trying to reach something so deep inside of them and rip it away from them...
Their essence?
Their soul?
T̵͉̗̒ḣ̴̻̱̂ȅ̷͓͘i̵̤͙̐͝ȑ̶͈̖̏ n̷̳̻̬̮̯̟̗̙̩̻̮͊͋̾́͐͌̏͒̿̏̆̑͜͠ä̴̢̧̡̦͕̻̙̻͕̳̟́̊͊̾̄̈́ḿ̵̡̢̛̜͉̗̗̞͖̟͈̬͈̻͍͌̋̓̐̅͘͠e̵͇̹͈̤͕̮̺͉͚͈͔̭͇̔-?
The human then simply hums, shaking off the heavy feeling off their mind. Their gaze soon focuses back on Mr. Crawling's face, their smile creeping back on their features, but now brighter, happier.
—"つ ત บ บ λ ป こ ৺ נ ८ ک ટ . つ ત บ บ ጉ ሰ ટ נ."— (Not Bad Feel Not Together)
They replied cheerfully, confidently using the otherworldly language to make sure there is no room for doubts left.
Upon hearing their answer and seeing that smile he absolutely adored, Mr. Crawling himself smiles back, letting that characteristic high-pitched giggle of of his. And just like (Y/N) expected, the crawling ghost reached out and gently patted their head, ruffling their grayish hair a little.
—"ㄷコ ਦ υ ป ! ㄷコ ਦ υ ป !"— (Glad Glad)
(Y/N) giggled as well, already used to Mr. Crawling's joyful chirps at whatever little thing they do. Once satisfied, the ghost slowly retires his hand from their head and leans back to his previous position right next to the human in a raincoat, his dark locks trailing behind and sliding off (Y/N)'s legs as he gives them a little bit of space.
They hum, that happy smile remaining on their lips, brightening a bit their bandage-covered face, returning some of color and life to it. The human soon shift their attention back to what they were previously up to, which was scavenging and going through all the junk and rumble that fell down here from the human world.
While (Y/N) is the one going through the numerous items, Mr. Crawling remained focused on them. Staying next to their crouched form and curiously watching the things they periodically picked up and inspected, sometimes even picking something himself and asking what it is and what humans do with it.
The activity was simple, but it was like a huge breath of air for (Y/N) and a great way to distract their mind from the decay this world was putting them through, helping them remember who they are and what are supposed to be. A human, an unfortunate human that found themselves in this place of absolute madness...
(Y/N)'s train of thoughts stopped when their eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of something bright and colorful under a small pile of old, messed news articles. And after carefully pushing aside all the trash, they get a clear sight of what it is.
A manga cover!
(Y/N)'s eyes widened and their smile grew as they reach out and grab the manga book, picking it up and instantly flipping through the pages.
—"No way, it's actually in good, readable condition!"—
They exclaimed excitedly, eyes wandering through the pages with interest.
Mr. Crawling simply observed, curiously watching them inspect the book. He noticed that (Y/N) would always get super excited whenever they saw one of these colorful pictures, and it made him happy to see them happy! As well as to keep a mental note to find more of these to make them even happier.
However, as the human paused on one of the pages, probably to check if the paper is holding up alright after getting a little wet. Something completely different caught the ghost's attention.
Slowly, Mr. Crawling reaches his hand again, pointing at a particular drawing with his finger while tilting his head to the side, like a confused puppy would.
—"נ บ ਦ ኟィд ⊔ ટ ৺ ㅗ?"— (What They Do)
He asked, gently tapping the picture with his finger.
(Y/N) glances at the spot their ghost companion is pointing at, their eyebrows rising slightly as they see an illustration of two of the characters kissing. Oh, did they just spoiled themselves one of the subplots?...
—"This?"—
They asks, eyes flickering between the comic and Mr. Crawling's face.
—"π々⊔ λ ک つ ત コ ጉ ک こ?"— (Why Touch Mouth)
The ghost asked again, genuine curiosity lingering in his quiet voice as he taps the paper again, his head turning to the side to look at (Y/N). Despite half of his face being covered by his dark hair, they could practically feel his curious stare, almost like a kid waiting for his parent to answer.
—"ک ጉ ㄷ π π々⊔ ?"— (Teach Why)
He asks, now his attention completely casted on (Y/N), patiently waiting for their answer.
The mentioned human stays silent at fist, seemingly surprised the ghost actually doesn't know what a kiss is and why people do it. However, the more they think about it, the less he can blame Mr. Crawling. After all, this world is not built for affection, and considering all the dangers that lurk here on daily basis, it's not too surprising that some residents of this place don't even know what affection is.
—"Well. This is called a kiss, 'kiss'."—
They explain, pointing at their lips as they spell the word for him.
—"K- K̴̻̍-K̶̥͔̒ḭ̷̢̆̾ṣ̵̠͊s̵̮̎̾-?"—
He attempts to repeat, though the sound comes more as a hiss rather than an actual word... Still, (Y/N) was proud of him for trying! And expresses such joy with a soft giggle.
—"Yeah, kiss. Uh..."—
They paused, thinking over their wording before continuing.
—"☨ บ п ป Kiss ત λ コㄷ ک ጉ ㄷ π ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ."— (Human _ Desire Teach Love)
They finish, scratching their cheek with a sheepish smile, knowing that their explanation probably sounded wonky a weird, especially with that little mix between languages.
The ghost, makes a small "oh" sound, actually understanding their answer even with the odd wording.
Suddenly, Mr. Crawling's face lightens in puppy-like joy as he leans closer, his face just inches away from the human's when he starts to chirp back.
—"ત λ コㄷ ک ጉ ㄷ π ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ! "— (Desire Teach Love)
(Y/N) raised their eyebrows at his words, their cheeks suddenly feeling a little warmer.
(Hold on, is he asking me for a kiss?!)
As flustered as they were, upon seeing that excited, happy smile of the ghost that they grew so attached to, they couldn't find the heart to tell him no even if their life depended on it. Beside, it's just a kiss, and they both like each other! So why not?
—"Eh... Hehehe. Okay, okay. You kiss like this."—
They answer, before suddenly leaning forward and pressing their lips against the cold skin of his cheek.
A soft, quiet gasp escaped the ghost's lips, the difference in temperature between his and (Y/N) body never failing to make his chest feel all funny, though not unpleasant type of funny. But now with the added softness of their lips and the hot breath casted on his face, it created a sensation he haven't felt before.
The human leans back a little, chuckling under their breath at the ghost's reaction. However, their smile begin to fade when they notice how still he suddenly got.
They go silent, patiently waiting for Mr. Crawling to say or do something, but he remained perfectly still and dead silent, like some kind of creepy statue. Did they just cross some boundary they didn't know about?...
—"Mr. Crawling?..."— you ask eventually, voice quiet. —"Are you alright? Did I-..."—
(Y/N) paused when he finally does move, slowly lifting his hand from the opened manga book and brushing his fingers against his cheek, right on the spot they kissed him a second ago.
Suddenly, another high-pitched giggle escaped the ghost as he immediately launches forward, forcing (Y/N) back and basically tackling them to the ground into that famous overzealous hug of his they came to secretly adore.
—"K̶̥͔̒ḭ̷̢̆̾ṣ̵̠͊s̵̮̎̾ ! K̶̥͔̒ḭ̷̢̆̾ṣ̵̠͊s̵̮̎̾ !"—
He cheerfully exclaims with his broken human speech, before mimicking (Y/N)'s action and pressing his lips against their cheek. Though, more than an kiss his gesture resembled a nuzzle, like big dog gently bumping his favorite person with his nose.
—"৺ ጉ נ ⊔ λ ત д ک ጉ ㄷ π ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ! "— (Me Want to Teach Love)
(Y/N) just couldn't help but laugh at the sweet action of the ghost, their cheeks turning much redder and warmer than before. With their hands no longer being occupied by the manga book, they reach and rest their hands on Mr. Crawling's back, basically hugging him back as the entity continues to joyfully express his liking through the newfound gesture.
—"You're doing it pretty good! But this is not exactly a kiss..."—
They eventually say, sliding their hands from his back and instead resting them on his shoulders. At the sound of their voice, Mr. Crawling's affectionate nuzzles pause and leans back, tilting his head to the side with curiosity.
—"Yeah, you need to press your lips, not caress with them. Ehm..."—
They fall silent, their gaze adverting for a brief moment as they try to find the needed words to describe what they're trying to say, but all they get is a reminder of how poor and limited the ghost vocabulary is...
Mr. Crawling remained quiet, patiently waiting for (Y/N) to figure out their wording. He didn't mind the wait at all to be honest, patience being one of his biggest virtues after all. Beside, seeing the human mumble and emit noises under their breath while making funny faces, such as pushing their lips or furrowing their brows, was a very cute sight to witness!
When realized that words, human or not, won't cut it. (Y/N) decided to use actions instead, as their head was starting to hurt at this point from this damn language barrier. So, with a soft sigh their eyes flicker back at Mr. Crawling, who was still patiently waiting for them to figure out their wording, or maybe taking the chance to look and admire their face, or maybe both...
—"৺ ጉ נ ک ጉ ㄷ π ત ટ д Kiss."— (Me Teach You)
They finally said, a hint of determination in their tone, though it was mostly directed to (Y/N) as they try to push through their own sudden rush of shyness and fluster. How comes they can be all giggly and cuddly when Mr. Crawling literally tackles them, but then turn into a blushing mess from a little kiss?! Ugh, even they start to make less sense the more they stay in this world...
At their words, the ghost seemed almost ecstatic. He already was eager to get any sort of attention from (Y/N), let alone affection. So the mere thought of feeling their lips pressed against his skin again made his whole body almost shake.
(Y/N) could feel the ghost's body grow tense from the overwhelming joy, and it was such a strangely endearing sight to witness; an otherworldly entity acting like an overjoyed puppy about to receive his favorite treat.
They giggle again, giving his shoulders a gentle squeeze before speaking.
—"Okay hehe... Eeh... Look, you kiss like this, 々ኟ৺."— (Look)
They say before leaning closer, the distance between their and Mr. Crawling's face growing smaller and smaller, until their lips finally come in contact with the ghost's other cheek.
They can feel him shiver, clearly still not used to the new sensation, but he was definitely loving it judging by the way his long arms slightly closed around their body, almost hugging them and pressing their smaller form against his taller one.
(Y/N) leans back a tiny bit, taking the chance to simply look at the entity who was holding them in it's embrace so tenderly. Of course, this is not the first, nor last, time they'll be held by Mr. Crawling. But... Right now, there's something different, they feel different. Their heart is pounding like crazy, yes. But they no longer feel flustered or embarrassed, they feel strangely in peace in fact.
There's always been something captivating about the crawling ghost, even with his unnerving traces. The way his long, black hair surrounds them, a void that's isolating both from the outside world, covering them like a veil, making each the protagonist of the other's gaze. For a monster-filled place like this, the moment felt almost romantic.
The human let a soft exhale, their lips parting ever so slightly. And before their brain could even realize it, (Y/N) was already leaning forward again.
They don't know what came over them, but their mind, their heart, and even that little voice was telling them the same thing...
{Do it.)
They press their lips again, this time against the tip of his nose, getting one of these little "eh" sounds out of him.
They didn't stop there however, instead starting to pepper the ghost's face with more kisses. His cheeks, his forehead, his jaw...
(Y/N)'s movements were slow and delicate, keeping in mind the comfort of their otherworldly companion as they shower him with this new, intimate affection. They weren't quite sure what he was thinking about all of this, if he was getting overwhelmed or not, if he truly enjoyed or understood how much this moment meant for humans... But by how his arms seem to close more around their smaller form, how his fingers flex around the fabric of their raincoat, how his body seemed to gradually relax and even lean into the new, loving gesture...
Yeah, they knew he understood.
However, as (Y/N) was about to reach his lips, an inexplicable wave of hesitation came all over them, freezing them in place and incapacitating from moving back of forward, their heartbeat getting surprisingly, almost painfully loud.
(What's going on?)
(Why am I feeling so... Self-conscious?)
(No... No. I want to do it, I need to do it! Come on body, move! Move god damnit!)
They screamed inside of their mind, yet their body still refused to move, regardless of all the mental berating they were putting themselves through. Their grip on Mr. Crawling's shoulder tightened a little, like a silent attempt to ground themselves and remember just how close the ghost was, how he was waiting for them to continue, how he was waiting for them. But... They... They just couldn't move.
However, after a few beats of silence and inactivity had passed, is Mr. Crawling the one to finally break the tension and lean forward, his cold lips pressing against the warm ones of the human.
And just like that, all the doubts and hesitations had melted away in (Y/N), and everything felt alright again. No, more than alright. This felt perfect, intimate, sweet, and surprisingly innocent. Holding nothing but the affection, care and love the two beings felt for one another, now in it's purest way.
A human.
And a ghost.
Together, connected to each other not just in a physical way, but now in a deep, emotional way...
The kiss itself probably didn't last even 10 seconds, but in (Y/N)'s and Mr. Crawling's mind it felt like two eternities had passed, and many more would if they'd decided to keep going.
After breaking the kiss, the two just stay like this for a while, looking at each other as their minds clear from the haze and feeling of drunkenness the sweet exchange left behind. Mr. Crawling still on top of (Y/N), but instead of just hovering over them like he always did, now his arms were tightly wrapped around their frame, keeping them securely in place right between the ground and his body.
(Y/N) couldn't explain it, but right now they feel like they're falling again for the ghost. Just by being held in his embrace and hidden underneath his larger body, they felt so safe and at peace... So...
It's like they were home.
Their home...
He became their home, their safe place, their happy place...
Him...
—"λ ک ሰ ৺ ટ ?"— (Are you okay)
Mr. Crawling suddenly asked, his smile faltering as his embrace on them tightens a little. It was almost like he was concerned he did something wrong and broke them, what a sweetheart.
(Y/N) blinked, noticing they were probably staring and zoning out with this little realization of theirs, realization that their real home was not in this or their world.
It was with Mr. Crawling.
Or at least, that's what their heart told them.
—"I'm fine."—
The human said in a soft voice. Their body leaning forward while speaking, snuggling closer to the ghost's chest, the action feeling like a little dejavu to the time he hid them from the man in red.
Ugh... The sole mention of that guy is still sending shivers through their body, so let's not think about him.
—"৺コኅ ጉ ሰ ટ נ ৺ ጉ נ ሰ ኟ つ ጉ."— (Us Together Me Happy)
Mr. Crawling didn't take long to let yet another high-pitched giggle, his head coming to rest on top of (Y/N)'s, nuzzling gently against their hair and raincoat hood.
—"ㄷコ ਦ υ ป ! ㄷコ ਦ υ ป !"— (Glad Glad)
He chirped cheerfully, his arms tightening just a little to give the human a gentle squeeze.
—"ત ટ д ሰ ኟ つ ጉ ৺ ጉ נ ㄷコ ਦ υ ป !"— (You Happy Me Grateful)
—"৺ ጉ נ ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ત ટ д !"— (Me Like You)
—"৺ ጉ נ ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ጉ ሰ ટ נ ત ટ д !"— (Me Like Together You)
All (Y/N) could do at the moment is giggle and attempt to keep up with his excitement. Jeez, they forgot how talkative Mr. Crawling gets when excited. They reach out at some point, affectionately rubbing his back like a quiet request to slow down, which the ghost quickly complies by stopping his speech and instead resorting just to the nuzzling.
The two remained like this for quite a while, just enjoying this precious moment of having each other close. Even if they knew that the next time (Y/N) needs to take a nap, they'll be in embraced again.
—"Alright, that's enough for now.—
The human muttered, giving the ghost's back a few gentle pats like a way of saying that they wanted him to move.
Mr. Crawling doesn't try to protest at all, surprisingly. And after giving one more squeeze, his arms loosen around (Y/N)'s form and he slowly lets go, his body getting off them and instead settling right by their side. That's probably the reason he didn't complain about letting go, knowing he'd be next to them one way or another.
(Y/N) chuckled again at the ghost's sneaky antics, finding them pretty adorable. And after reaching out to pat his head again, the human settles into a more comfortable position and grabs the manga book they previously dropped from Mr. Crawling's surprise-tackle-hug.
—"Okay, let's see what this is about..."—
The human muttered to themselves while opening the book and starting to read the story, deciding to go blind into it and discover the plot as they progress with the story.
Mr. Crawling in the meantime had found his comfortable spot by placing his head against (Y/N)'s shoulder, with one of his arms resting across their waist, keeping them in this half hug.
Even if the ghost didn't understand a word, the illustrations of the manga were very helpful and allowed him to follow the story along with the human. Though there were things he also didn't quite understand about human behavior, it wasn't a big deal since (Y/N) would always chive in and explain him things.
As the two lay there, reading, Mr. Crawling suddenly lifted his head and pressed his lips against (Y/N)'s cheek gently, this time actually kissing them.
—"৺ ጉ נ ک ጉ ㄷ π ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ત ટ д ! "— (Me Teach Love You)
He said in a sweet, happy tone that nearly made (Y/N)'s heart explode. Ugh, seriously who gave him the right to be so cute!?
—"ㄷコ ਦ υ ป."— (Grateful)
—"ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ጉ נ ?"— (Like Me)
(Aaand there he goes again. Yup, high-maintenance type...)
(But he's my high-maintenance type.)
—"ㄷ ८ コ ㅗ ત ટ д."— (Like You)
They replied warmly, planting another kiss on top of his head, gaining yet another lovely giggle from the entity before returning their attention to the manga. The ghost soon following their example, settling back into his previous position, occasionally nuzzling against their shoulder like an affectionate cat. They could swear he'd be purring if he could.
And while reading the manga, (Y/N) couldn't help but smile, but also dread a little at how the next days would go now that Mr. Crawling learned about kissing and what it meant...
...
They're going to get tackled A LOT.
"Won't they?"

Psycho Analysis: Gerald Robotnik
(WARNING! This analysis contains SPOILERS!)
You may not know this, but Jim Carrey is actually really good at playing villains. Like, it’s a pretty obscure fact about his career. So obscure that despite him playing at least three of the funniest villains I’d ever seen growing up, I completely forgot about them when I did the Psycho Analysis for Ivo Robotnik back when the original Sonic film dropped.
But now I know better. The Grinch, Count Olaf, the Riddler… Carrey is a master of playing cartoonish creeps. And Ivo Robotnik has proved to be the best and most fun of all his villainous roles, evolving beyond the simple yet fun egomaniac scientist of the first film into something that hews far closer to what Sonic fans might expect from the world’s sexiest fat man AKA Dr. Eggman. In fact, Robotnik might be my favorite villain role of his, and one of my favorite villains of all time.
Now what if we doubled that?
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 went bigger and better than its predecessors, and considering it was introducing the most popular character in the Sonic franchise who isn’t the Blue Blur himself—Shadow—it kind of had to. And that meant giving us not one, but two Jim Carrey performances. In this movie, the typically posthumous Gerald Robotnik is alive and well and out to enact some revenge. It’s a pretty bold and different approach to the beloved story of this Sonic adventure… so how does it work out?
Motivation/Goals: Gerald Robotnik is motivated by revenge, much like in the games, though this time he’s around to pursue it himself. After what G.U.N. did to Maria, he wanted to completely dismantle and destroy them. But the thing is, his decades of stewing in his hate and rage made him a little cuckoo, and now his hate extends to not just G.U.N., but the entirety of the human race… as well as himself.
Performance: Jim Carrey had already perfected Ivo over two films, but I think there may have been a little worry he’d make Gerald too similar and ignore what made fans love him in the game. Of course, we needn’t have worried; not only is Gerald a distinct character from his grandson, he still manages to be a truly despicable human being, perhaps more vile than he’s ever been before. He’s still as wacky and ridiculous as Ivo, but unlike with Eggman he manages to drop the silly at just the right moments to make Gerald a genuinely threatening monster.
Final Fate: No firing squad for Gerald this time; no, his ending here is much more undignified, but also incredibly well-deserved and satisfying. After callously trying to send his grandson into the vacuum of space, Ivo surprises the old man with a super-charged Sonic quill into his ass which sends him flying through the air into the chaos energy. He then proceeds to be disintegrate with a little pop like a bug in a zapper.
youtube
Now, this may seem incredibly cartoonish and even ridiculous as a way to defeat such a villain… But read the rest of this analysis to see just how disturbingly vile Gerald ends up being. I think this truly absurd and cartoonish death is exactly what the movie needed to do to rerail things and keep it from going way too dark. And, if you think about it, his death is still colossally fucked up, particularly because Tails seems a little too chipper about committing murder.
Evilness: For most of the movie, he seems like he’ll end up being like… a 6 or 7/10, like clearly a bad guy but one with an understandable motive that you can root for. G.U.N. do not come out of this film smelling like roses, and when you see the full extent of what they did to Shadow it’s hard not to root against them.
But then comes the third act. He reveals he wants to kill everyone and himself, he reveals he doesn’t give a shit what Maria would want because he’s so utterly consumed with misanthropy, and he drops the coldest line ever to reject his grandson… Yeah this guy is a 10/10. Maybe even a 10.5/10. He is genuinely fucking callous and vile and monstrous.
youtube
Best Scene: Without a doubt it’s the scene where he and Ivo dance through the lasers.
youtube
This scene is great for multiple reasons. The most obvious reason is that t’s an amazing example of the movies effects and how well it showcases the dual Jim Carrey performance. Like, this must’ve been a bitch and a half to make look convincing, especially with Ivo picking Gerald up and swinging him around. It’s amazingly well done, the choreography is great, and “Galvanize” by the Chemical Brothers kicks ass.
But it also works as a further highlighting of the character of Ivo, how he’s still desperately cramming in family fun now that he feels he has someone who cares about him… and it also makes the later reveal about Gerald sting all the more.
Best Quote: Remember that line in Frozen where Hans coldly reveals he’s a villain to Anna? Remember how it’s a stupid twist that doesn’t make sense, yet the line is one of the rawest in all of Disney’s canon? Imagine that except the twist actually works and is effective. That’s what Gerald gets:
“Oh, Ivo… You’re no Maria.”
This single line completely recontextualizes everything Gerald has done up until this point. Every single bit of fun and goofiness now comes off as deliberate manipulation of Ivo to help in his schemes. It also highlights just how single-minded and insane he’s become in his pursuit of revenge; here he has a living member of his family, someone who could fill the void Maria left, but he coldly rebuffs them because he is too consumed by his own hate and rage.
Final Thoughts & Score: I fucking love Gerald.
Jim Carrey really went above and beyond here (and considering they sent him the script in gold and let him play with himself on camera, why wouldn’t he?). He manages to make Gerald hilarious and goofy but also perfectly captures his grief, rage, and hatred when the third act hits. And that third act is genuinely impressive even when he gets into a scientifically-enhanced slap fight with his renegade grandson; just his eerily calm statement of his desire to commit murder-suicide with the entirety of the Earth, his callous brushing off of both his grandson and Maria’s desires, his flippant shrugging off of the worth of Shadow’s life when the hedgehog betrays him… It’s honestly shocking just how nasty Jim Carrey manages to be without completely dropping the inherent goofiness he brings to his roles. In fact, his goofiness just makes it more chilling when he drops the act and gets going.
Frankly it’s surprising just how much nuance there is in such a goofy role, how much can be read in to his actions. Like they really didn’t have to put so much work into the silly villain in the second sequel of a video game movie franchise, they could have easily half-assed Gerald or even just had him be posthumous to save themselves a lot of work. But they didn’t do that, they brought him in, managed to flesh him out and give him depth while still keeping him true to the core of the character, and they knocked him out of the park. Of course, Carrey’s amazing dual performance where he goes out of the way to interact with himself is a big plus too. The sheer spectacle is at least 50% of what makes Gerald so fun to watch.
All in all, Gerald is one of the greatest live-action family film antagonists ever seen, and he’s a big part as to why Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is so great. And best of all he continues to show that the human characters related to Eggman are the best in the franchise. Easily a 9.5/10 for me, with the .5 less than his grandson only because we get far less time with him since, you know, he fucking dies at the ends of this one and isn’t going to develop more. But the fact they manage to make him so well-rounded in just a single movie is worth a lot.

a/n: this fic is from last year, i originally decided to discontinue this since i don't really like it, but i changed my mind so... yeah, i hope y'all like this <3 not proofread
Senior Year, 1998
For most kids, high school was about prom, last-minute cramming, and hoping their moms didn’t accidentally wash their favorite Nirvana shirt with the whites. For you, it was about making it to graduation before your heart gave out.
You never thought your senior year would be defined by cardiac failure and romantic failure in equal measure, but here you were.
Dilated cardiomyopathy. That was the term. It meant your heart was working overtime just to do the basics, pumping blood, keeping you alive, making sure you didn’t pass out from climbing a single flight of stairs. It wasn’t ideal. Yeah, it sucks.
Neither was the fact that you were still pathetically single.
Sure, you had an excuse. Being terminally exhausted wasn’t exactly attractive. But was it too much to ask to experience at least one romantic moment before you kicked the bucket?
But you had dreams.
Dreams like not dying single.
And that’s where Riki came in.
Oh Riki, your Riki.
An angel sent from above, the one that makes your heart hurt, both in a good and bad way. You didn't even know why and how you caught feelings. It was just sudden and it’s not even funny—if angels wore Chrome Hearts, had a mean three-pointer, and called you dude way too much for your fragile, lovesick heart to handle. He once told you his goal in life was to be “dripped out even in the afterlife,” which honestly? Respect.
Riki was the kind of guy who made high school bearable. He was your first and longest crush, the reason you sometimes bothered showing up to class despite your heart doing the absolute most just to keep you conscious. He had this stupidly perfect laugh, an attitude that danced between cocky and charming, and a way of making everything seem fun. A normal person might have confessed ages ago, but you? You waited until you were on the verge of death to take action.
He was the reason you dragged yourself to class even when your heart was acting like a dial-up modem on a stormy night. The reason, you, a known mediocre, somehow maintained perfect attendance in exactly one class: Physics. Not because you cared about Newton’s laws, but because Riki sat next to you, smelled like expensive cologne and teenage recklessness, and occasionally let you borrow his hoodie when you looked cold and pale which was often, because obviously you're dying. It’s like he’s the gravity, pulling you towards him.
And oh, he was everything you weren’t. Tall, athletic, and effortlessly cool, he had this laugh, the kind that made your stomach do backflips and your heart forget it was terminal. He was one of those guys who made high school look easy, a movie protagonist who actually liked being here. While you were just trying not to die in the middle of AP Literature, Riki was out there making everything look like an MTV music video.
Confessing your feelings should’ve been simple.
People did it all the time. Girls slipped notes into lockers, guys made mixtapes with carefully chosen love songs, couples slow danced at prom under the cheesy glow of twinkling fairy lights. It wasn’t hard.
So why did it feel like you were about to commit a crime? Maybe because you were.
The crime of embarrassing yourself beyond repair.
You stood at the edge of the school courtyard, gripping the folded confession letter like it was your last will and testament. This was it. This was the moment you’d tell the guy how you felt after years of—
Oh.
Oh, no.
He wasn’t alone.
He was sprawled out on one of the stone benches, his signature skateboard lying next to him, chatting with a few guys from his friend group. His stupid friend group.
The school’s unofficial boyband without the instruments, except Jay sometimes carried his Taylor 114CE around for no reason. A group so effortlessly cool that it made even normal social interactions feel nerve-wracking, let alone whatever the hell you were about to do. You despise that.
Panic settled deep in your chest.
You had imagined this moment a million times. But not once had you imagined doing it with an audience.
You tried to gather your courage. Maybe they won’t even notice me. Maybe you could just walk up, say what you needed to say, and leave before anyone processed what was happening.
It was a good thought.
A comforting thought.
And then—
Someone cracked a joke, and all of them burst into laughter. The kind of laughter that made you feel like an intruder just for standing there.
You were kidding yourself. This wasn’t some cute, romcom-worthy confession. You weren’t that kind of girl, and this wasn’t that kind of story.
This was real life.
And in real life?
You had no business walking into that circle, let alone confess to one of them. Your feet were already moving before your brain caught up.
One second, you were standing there, gripping your letter for dear life. The next, you were walking—no, speed-walking—straight past them, making a very dramatic beeline for anywhere but here.
And in your rush to flee the scene of the crime you never committed, you didn’t notice.
The letter slipping from your fingers.
──────────────────
The man had been having an okay day.
Which, by his standards, meant a tolerable day.
He had survived calculus without wanting to throw himself into traffic, avoided being dragged into yet another unnecessary argument between Jay and Jake (about whether or not socks with sandals were ever acceptable), and had, so far, successfully avoided unnecessary social interaction.
So when he caught a glimpse of a crumpled piece of paper tumbling across the pavement, he almost ignored it.
Almost.
But then he saw something that made him pause.
A number.
Or, more specifically—
A beeper number.
He sighed, bending down to pick it up. It was a letter.
He unfolded it, gaze flicking over the words then he stopped.
Because this wasn’t just some random note.
This was a confession letter.
A very specific, very earnest confession letter.
“To Riki,
He exhaled sharply through his nose, gaze flicking up just in time to see you—the girl from his class who always looked like she was one bad day away from dropping out—power-walking away like you had just committed arson.
I like you. A lot. Probably more than I should. Just thought you should know. If, by some miracle, you feel the same, page me. [xxxx-xxxx]. If not, let’s pretend this never happened.”
The guy sighed again, tucking the letter into his pocket. This was not his problem.
And yet.
He glanced at the beeper number.
Then back at you, now just a fast-disappearing blur in the distance.
He didn’t know why he did it but he did it anyways.
You didn’t realize your letter was missing. Not until you got home, tore your bag apart, and found nothing. And that was when you started panicking. No, that wasn’t just any letter. That was the letter.
The one where you had detailed in embarrassingly specific language, how much you fancy Riki. How you thought he was funny and talented, how his laugh made your heart do that weird fluttery thing, how your heart would ache for him (which may or may not have been an actual symptom of your condition, but whatever).
BEEP.
Fuck.
Please no.
Somewhere, wherever you had ended up, your beeper went off.
You wanted to die.
Where was it? Who had it? Did Riki have it?
And when you checked the message, all it said was:
"You dropped something. Meet me, back of building 2 tomorrow."
Oh, fuck me.
──────────────────
You weren’t easily rattled. Life had already handed you an unfair deck of cards—one defective heart, one painfully obvious crush, and one misdirected confession that now haunted your every waking moment—so at this point, you thought you had developed a decent threshold for embarrassment. You had learned how to roll with things. Keep your head down. Survive.
But there was something about the way Park Sunghoon was staring at you that made you want to combust.
It started the moment you stepped into the classroom that morning. The feeling crept up your spine, that unmistakable sense of being watched, and when you finally stole a glance, you found Sunghoon already looking at you, his posture relaxed, arms crossed, his expression unreadable. He didn’t flinch, didn’t pretend to look away like a normal person who had just been caught staring. No. Instead, he held your gaze, cold and steady, as if he were analyzing something, measuring something before deciding it wasn’t worth reacting to.
You immediately turned away, heart thumping in your chest, pulse stuttering slightly in a way that may or may not have been a symptom of your condition. Fine. Whatever. Maybe he had just been spacing out. Maybe this was nothing. You weren’t about to let Sunghoon of all people ruin your day.
But then, the minutes crawled by.
And he didn’t stop.
At first, you tried to ignore it. Sunghoon wasn’t actively bothering you, right? He wasn’t whispering your name, wasn’t nudging your shoulder, wasn’t throwing notes onto your desk like some annoying childhood crush. He was just… watching.
And yet, somehow, that was worse.
Because Sunghoon had the kind of presence that demanded to be acknowledged. He wasn’t the loudest guy in the room, far from it. He didn’t need to be. His silence carried weight, his indifference practically tangible, like he existed just slightly out of sync with everyone else. So when someone like that stared at you, it meant something.
The worst part?
You couldn’t even tell what that something was.
You spent most of the class pointedly looking at anything but him, your notebook, the clock, the water stains on the ceiling—each second stretching into eternity as his gaze bore into the side of your head. Maybe if you ignored him long enough, he’d get bored. Maybe if you pretended this wasn’t happening, it would stop.
But it didn’t.
Not when the teacher droned on about quadratic equations. Not when students shuffled papers and tapped their pencils in absentminded rhythms. Not when the morning sunlight filtered through the windows, spilling across desks and highlighting the faint scratch of chalk on the blackboard.
Through it all, he didn’t move.
He remained effortlessly composed, his elbow propped against the desk, fingers loosely curled near his chin, eyes never once leaving your form. He wasn’t even pretending to focus on class. It was almost insulting how casual he was about it, like you were some mildly interesting puzzle he had no real intention of solving.
By the time the final bell rang, you had reached your limit. You shoved your books into your bag, gripping the straps a little too tightly as you all but launched yourself from your seat. You needed to get out of there before your brain short-circuited completely.
But Sunghoon?
He still didn’t say a word.
Didn’t move.
Just let his gaze follow you all the way to the door, like this wasn’t over yet.
And maybe—just maybe—it wasn’t.
You should’ve gone straight home. That would have been the rational thing to do. But your beeper still sat heavy in your pocket, the message from last night burning in the back of your mind.
"You dropped something. Meet me, back at Building 2 tomorrow."
The moment you had seen those words flash across the tiny screen, your stomach had dropped. You had torn your bag apart, desperate to find anything that could’ve been misplaced, but it wasn’t until way later that it hit you.
The letter.
The one you had written for Riki. The one you had spent actual time on, pouring out feelings you never thought you’d have the courage to say out loud. The letter that had, in the most unfortunate turn of events, never even made it to him.
Instead, it had landed in the hands of someone else.
And now, you were going to find out who.
With each step, your heartbeat picked up your pace slow but deliberate as you cut across campus, sneakers scuffing against the pavement. The late afternoon air was thick, the distant sounds of students laughing and packing up for the day fading behind you as you rounded the corner of Building 2.
And then,
You stopped.
Because standing there, leaning against the wall like he had been waiting all along, was Park Sunghoon.
Your stomach sank.
For a split second, you tried to rationalize it. Maybe he just hangs out here. Maybe this is a coincidence. But then—
Sunghoon reached into his pocket.
And pulled out your letter.
He flicked it between his fingers, gaze steady, unreadable, completely indifferent, except for the slight tilt of his head, like he was considering something. The afternoon light cut sharp shadows across his features, making his already blank expression even more unreadable. He looked calm. Collected. Bored, even.
Like this entire situation barely even registered as interesting.
You, on the other hand, were short-circuiting.
Your pulse hammered against your ribs, not from exertion but from sheer mortification. Because this was so much worse than Riki finding it.
This was Sunghoon.
And Sunghoon?
He had no reason to be holding that letter.
He shouldn’t have cared. He shouldn’t have picked it up. He shouldn’t have read it.
But he had.
And now, standing there, twirling it between his fingers like it was nothing, he finally spoke.
"Looking for this?"
His voice was light. Almost amused.
You could only stare.
You didn’t have time to be embarrassed. Didn’t have the luxury of panicking, of stammering out some half-baked excuse and sprinting in the opposite direction like a complete coward. No, you had to deal with this. Immediately. Swiftly. Before making your life a waking nightmare.
So, you did what any rational person would do.
You square your shoulders, inhaled sharply, and cut straight to the point.
"What do you want?" you demanded, arms crossed, words sharp enough to slice through the thick tension hanging between you.
You should have been prepared for the absurdity. You really should’ve. But after everything that had gone down in the past twenty-four hours, the beeper message, the letter fiasco, the absolutely humiliating confession, you had already reached your limit of surreal, embarrassing moments. You had told yourself, no more surprises.
But then came Sunghoon, with his deadpan expression, leaning against the wall like the entire world was a joke, and the punchline was you. And when he said it, when he casually tossed out the words, "Be my school dog," it felt like the universe had finally decided it was done messing with you and had moved on to full-scale mockery.
You just blinked at him.
"What?" you asked, voice hoarse, as though you needed to clear the fog in your brain before you processed the sheer absurdity of his demand. "Are you serious?"
Sunghoon didn’t flinch, didn’t even shift his posture. He stood there like the picture of aloofness, arms crossed, lips slightly tilted in the barest semblance of a smirk, eyes unwavering. He looked like he was having the most normal conversation of his life, while you were actively dying inside.
"Relax," he repeated, his voice dripping with nonchalance as if this was an everyday occurrence. "It’s really not that complicated."
Oh, it wasn’t complicated?
You wanted to scream.
You wanted to march right up to him, slap that stupid smirk off his face, and demand that he take it back, but you were at the mercy of his overwhelming indifference, the kind of indifference that breathed confidence into his words. No sweat. No hesitation. Nothing but cold calculation in the way he leaned there, as if his proposition were the most casual thing in the world.
"What does that even mean?" You couldn’t help but ask, your voice thick with a mix of disbelief and frustration. "Am I supposed to fetch your textbooks? Your coffee? Should I start doing your homework too? Or maybe you want me to do what? sit at your feet while you nap?"
You knew you were being ridiculous, but it was hard to hold it together when this was the price you had to pay for your own heartfelt (and now totally ruined) confession.
Sunghoon’s lips quirked into an almost imperceptible smile, the kind of smile that didn’t reach his eyes but was still full of something, something that made your skin crawl. "Something like that," he said, his voice smooth and utterly calm, like he was the one in control of the situation, like you didn’t have a say in this at all. "I mean, think about it. You’re already here, asking me what you can do for me. You’re not exactly in a position to make demands."
You froze.
This was it. This was where he trapped you, where the ridiculousness of it all became so real you couldn’t deny it anymore. You wanted to fight back, to argue, to find some way to get out of it, but the reality was clear: If you didn’t play along with this, if you didn’t accept this weird, humiliating deal, he would ruin you.
He would ruin the last shred of your dignity, and you knew it.
So, you swallowed your pride. Your heart felt like it was going to stop, a painful flutter settling in your chest as you stared at him. "And if I refuse?" you asked, knowing the answer before he even gave it.
Sunghoon didn’t need to think about it. He didn’t even look surprised. "Then Riki gets the letter," he said simply. "and you can’t be mad at me for it. You dropped it. You gave it to me. That’s your choice."
It was the coldest, most efficient power move you had ever experienced. And in that moment, it hit you—he had already won.
He didn’t need to ask for much. All he wanted was control, and you were about to hand it to him on a silver platter.
You sighed. There was no escaping it now. You had no choice. You didn’t want to be here, bargaining your way through this twisted mess, but Sunghoon’s eyes were so deadpan, so assured, that you couldn’t summon the strength to push back anymore.
"Fine," you muttered, feeling your skin burn with the embarrassment of it all. "I'll do whatever you want. Just please don’t tell anyone about the letter." You want to tell your feelings to Riki personally.
Sunghoon’s smirk grew wider, like he had expected you to cave all along. He pushed himself off the wall and took a slow step forward, narrowing the space between you two.
You swallowed, trying to steady your breathing. You had no idea what was coming. He lowered his voice as if it were some sort of weird consolation prize. "I’ll let you eat lunch with me, at least."
You wanted to disappear, to evaporate, to never show your face in this school again. But the look in Sunghoon’s eyes told you that wasn’t an option. This was real. This was happening. And you?
You were officially Park Sunghoon’s school dog.
──────────────────
By now, you had accepted your fate. It had been months since you sold your soul, no, your dignity to Park Sunghoon in exchange for him keeping quiet about The letter. Months of being yanked around like some poor, lost soul who had wandered into a contractual nightmare with no exit clause.
You weren’t sure which part was worse: the daily humiliation, the psychological warfare, or the fact that you were getting used to it.
Sunghoon hadn’t wasted a single second of his power over you. From the moment you agreed to be his so-called school dog, he had ensured that your life became one long, never-ending exercise in absolute servitude.
And the worst part? No one even questioned it anymore. It had gone on for so long that people just… accepted it.
Your descent into scholarly servitude had begun subtly. Small things, little requests that felt more like casual favors than public degradation.
"Hold my bag."
"Get me water."
"Wake me up if I fall asleep in class."
Easy. Manageable.
You could do those things without completely hating yourself. But then it escalated.
Suddenly, you were running across campus to buy him snacks during break, you were saving a seat for him in the cafeteria like some pitiful placeholder, he was flicking your forehead when you weren’t quick enough with his demands, like you were some personal assistant from hell.
You tried to push back at first. You really did. But Sunghoon had a way of making you comply, without even trying that hard.
"You could just quit," he’d say with a careless shrug, tossing your own words back at you. "But if you do, I guess Riki might finally find out about that letter. I’m sure he’d find it... interesting."
Checkmate. Again.
And so, you stayed. You obeyed. You suffered. It got so bad that even the teachers stopped questioning why you were always lingering near Sunghoon like some overworked intern.
"Oh, are you running another errand for Sunghoon?" one of them had asked once, completely unbothered.
"Good teamwork!" GOOD TEAMWORK? This was not a team. This was indentured servitude.
It had been months, and the horrors you had endured were starting to take permanent residence in your psyche. There was no low too low.
No request is too ridiculous. You had been sent to retrieve his lost pencil case from the third-floor library (which he could have easily done himself). You had been forced to lend him your notebook for three consecutive weeks because he couldn’t be bothered to take his own notes.
You had once… once been made to stand in line for 45 minutes just to buy him a stupid limited-edition drink from the vending machine because he didn’t feel like waiting. And, in what might have been the most humiliating moment of all, you had been coerced into tying his shoelaces in the middle of the hallway.
Right in front of everyone. It had happened so fast you hadn’t even processed it. One second, you were walking side by side (well, more like you were dragging your feet behind him like a loyal hound), and the next, he had come to a stop, looking down at his undone laces with the slowest, most deliberate sigh of all time.
And then—he had looked at you. No words. Just a look. You had known exactly what he wanted. But you had still dared to hope.
"No," you had whispered, a desperate plea for mercy. Sunghoon had simply raised an eyebrow.
"Yes."
And that was how you had found yourself squatting on the floor, tying the laces of Park Sunghoon’s expensive sneakers like some medieval servant in an empire that thrived off unpaid labor. Sunoo had walked past and actually choked on his drink.
Jungwon had muttered something about "power dynamics" under his breath. Jay had snapped a photo and laughed until he fell onto a bench. And Sunghoon?
Sunghoon had stood there, hands in his pockets, watching your soul leave your body, before saying in the driest tone possible: "Good job. You missed a loop, though."
You could have murdered him.
At some point, you stopped actively resisting. It wasn’t acceptance. It wasn't a resignation. It was just... easier to do what Sunghoon wanted than to fight it. You still complained.
You still insulted him under your breath whenever he wasn’t looking. But you did the tasks. You showed up when he called (because he always called). You got his things without arguing (because arguing never worked).
You were losing yourself. And what was worse? Sunghoon knew.
He knew.
Because these days, he doesn't even have to say anything. He’d just look at you. A small, expectant tilt of the head. A faint lift of his eyebrows. Maybe a little smirk if he was feeling particularly cruel. And you’d immediately know what he wanted. There was no escape. There was no winning against Park Sunghoon.
You were his school dog.
And he was never letting you go.
──────────────────
It started like any other day. Another miserable, exhausting, Sunghoon-infested day where you were being dragged around like a personal errand runner with no salary, no benefits, and no escape clause.
You had long since abandoned the idea of rebellion—fighting back never worked, ignoring him never worked, and outright running away just resulted in more work. At this point, it was muscle memory. Sunghoon beckoned, and like a well-trained idiot, you responded.
And, as always, you obeyed, because what other choice did you have? You were trapped in this unwritten contract, and until he got bored (which, knowing Sunghoon, was never), you were stuck. Today’s mission was simple—carry his books. Because, apparently, carrying his own books was beneath him.
God, if only you weren't that down bad to Riki.
You weren’t sure when you had fully transitioned from human being to glorified pack mule, but here you were, arms full, dragging your feet behind him as he strolled through the hallways like some entitled monarch surveying his kingdom.
"You know, you could carry at least one of these yourself," you muttered, shifting the weight of the books so they wouldn’t snap your spine in half. Sunghoon barely spared you a glance. "I could." There was a pause before he added, almost lazily, "But I won’t." You wanted to throw one of the books at his head.
The hallways were suffocating, the walls pressing in on you with their peeling paint and the distant hum of old fluorescent lights. You could hear students laughing somewhere nearby, the sound muffled under the pounding in your skull.
You weren’t sure if it was from frustration or actual physical strain, but each step felt heavier than the last. Your breath came shorter, your limbs tingling with that annoying, familiar numbness you had long since learned to ignore.
By the time you reached the courtyard, the sun was brutal, the heat pressing down on your already exhausted body like a physical weight. Your chest felt tight, your breath uneven, and your vision had started getting that weird blurry quality, like everything was just slightly out of focus. You were used to pushing through it, used to ignoring the warning signs, but today—it felt worse. Heavier. Like something was seriously off.
"Hurry up," Sunghoon drawled, glancing back when he noticed you lagging. "At this rate, we’ll be here all day." You wanted to snap at him, tell him to shut up, to carry his own damn books for once, but the words got caught somewhere in your throat. Your head was pounding. Your breathing was shallow. And then—
A warm trickle ran down your upper lip.
You lifted a hand to your face, confused, dazed—and when you pulled it away, your fingers were stained red.
Oh. Shit.
For a moment, everything slowed down. Your brain struggled to catch up, to make sense of it—because, sure, nosebleeds weren’t uncommon. You’d had them before. But this one felt... different. It wasn’t just a few drops—it was flowing, fast and unrelenting, staining your uniform, dripping onto the pavement. The alarm in your chest flickered into panic.
Sunghoon’s voice cut through the haze, sharp but still laced with boredom. "What are you doing? Keep moving—" But when you didn’t respond, when you didn’t immediately snap back at him with some sarcastic remark, he actually turned to look at you.
His entire expression shifted.
His smirk dropped, his usual detached amusement flickering into something sharper, more focused. He stared, his gaze flicking between your face, your hand, the growing stain on your sleeve. "What the—"
Your body swayed.
The heat, the exhaustion, the struggle to breathe, it all crashed over you at once. The books in your arms slipped from your grasp, the sound of them hitting the pavement barely registering in your ears. The world around you tilted, the sun overhead blurring into streaks of white, the ground rising to meet you in a slow, dizzying spiral.
Sunghoon’s voice, usually so calm, so infuriatingly composed, suddenly wasn’t.
"Hey—"
But you didn’t hear the rest.
Because by then,
Everything had gone black.
──────────────────
The first thing you registered was the beeping.
Slow, steady, rhythmic. A sound that felt both familiar and foreign, like something from a dream you couldn’t quite place. It was a gentle, persistent pulse in the distance, matching the sluggish, heavy thrum of your own heart—a reminder that, against all odds, you were still here.
Then came the sensation of weightlessness, a strange, floating feeling in your limbs that told you there was an IV in your arm, delivering whatever miracle fluids were keeping you tethered to consciousness. The air smelled clean, too clean, that sterile hospital scent that made your stomach churn with something uneasy.
The sheets beneath your fingers were stiff, scratchy, tucked too tightly around your legs, the kind of impersonal discomfort that made everything feel foreign. And when you finally managed to peel your eyes open, the world revealed itself in harsh, clinical lighting, white walls, white sheets, white curtains, the kind of blinding brightness that made everything feel too real.
You were in a hospital.
And, judging by the disapproving expression on the doctor standing beside your bed, this wasn’t just a precautionary visit.
The weight of it settled on your chest before she even spoke.
"You gave us quite the scare," the doctor started, her voice calm but carrying that particular tone that meant she was about to tell you something you didn’t want to hear. "Your friend said you just collapsed out of nowhere. A nosebleed first, then loss of consciousness. Does that happen often?"
You swallowed, your throat dry, like you had swallowed sandpaper instead of oxygen. You didn’t answer right away, because what were you supposed to say? That you had been ignoring every warning sign your body had been throwing at you? That the fatigue, the dizzy spells, the sudden shortness of breath had all become so normal that you just… stopped paying attention?
You could lie. You could wave it off, pretend it was nothing. But it wasn’t nothing, was it? It was everything.
"I’m fine," you muttered instead, voice hoarse. "It was just the heat."
The doctor didn’t look amused.
"It wasn’t just the heat," she corrected. "It’s your heart."
There it was.
That single, unrelenting truth that you had spent so much time pretending didn’t exist.
You could feel your pulse in your ears, too slow, too uneven, like it was struggling to keep up. Dilated cardiomyopathy. A fancy way of saying your heart was weak, failing, not doing its job. And right now, that heart was betraying you, beating with the fragility of a thing that wasn’t meant to last.
The doctor sighed, softer this time. "Your condition is worsening."
Again, there it was.
The words hung in the air, settling over you like a weight too heavy to shake off. You had known, deep down, that things had been getting worse. You had felt it in the exhaustion that never quite went away, the way your body lagged behind your will, the increasing difficulty in simply existing.
But hearing it out loud made it real in a way that knocked the breath from your lungs.
"We’re going to run more tests," the doctor continued, her voice gentler now, like she was trying to ease you into something inevitable. "But you need to start taking this seriously. You can’t keep pushing yourself like this. If you do..." She hesitated, and that hesitation was the most terrifying thing of all.
"If I do?" you prompted, though you already knew the answer.
The doctor exhaled. "If you do, your heart might not be able to handle it."
Again.
The quiet, clinical, devastating way she was telling you what you had been trying to outrun all this time.
If you kept pushing, if you kept acting like you were fine, if you didn’t start taking this seriously—
You wouldn’t make it.
The room was too quiet. The only sound was the slow, mechanical beeping of the heart monitor, filling the space with its eerie, measured certainty. Each beep felt like a countdown, a cruel reminder that time was moving forward whether you wanted it to or not.
You turned your head, staring at the ceiling, feeling the slow, methodical rhythm of your own heartbeat. It felt wrong. Weak. Like it wasn’t yours anymore. Like it belonged to someone else, someone who had always been meant to break.
You thought about school. About walking through the halls, about Sunghoon ordering you around, about the months you had spent running yourself into the ground for things that, in the end, didn’t even matter. You thought about Riki, about that stupid letter, about how ridiculous it was that all of this started because you just didn’t want to die single.
But as your thoughts spiraled, as your mind traced back over every little moment, every order you had obeyed, every ridiculous task you had completed without hesitation, a quiet, terrifying realization settled in your chest.
You hadn’t just been doing it to keep Sunghoon from telling Riki.
Somewhere along the way, somewhere between the eye rolls and the reluctant errands, between the lazy smirks and the stupid tasks, between the way he always knew when you were tired and the way his gaze lingered just a little too long.
You had started doing it for him.
Because somewhere along the way, you had started falling for him.
And now, lying in this too-white, too-quiet hospital room, with the reality of your own failing body settling over you like a suffocating weight, you felt something that had nothing to do with your heart condition.
You felt scared.
Not just of dying, but of leaving before you could figure out what this feeling even meant.
Before you could figure out what he meant to you.
Before you could figure out what you meant to him.
Because if you meant anything at all…
Wouldn’t he be here?
Wouldn't he have stayed?
The thought made your throat tighten, your fingers curling into the stiff sheets beneath you.
Maybe it was better this way. Maybe it was easier if nothing changed.
Because if Sunghoon knew, if he found out just how much he had started to matter.
You weren’t sure if your heart could handle it.
And this time, that wasn’t just a metaphor.
──────────────────
Sunghoon noticed the silence first.
It wasn’t obvious at first glance, the hallways were still loud, the students still restless, the usual chaos of high school life carrying on like always. But something was off. Something that made his stomach twist in a way that had nothing to do with hunger.
You weren’t there.
It should’ve been relief. You being gone should’ve meant peace and quiet, a break from having to summon you with a lazy flick of his fingers, a break from your sighs and sarcastic quips whenever he told you to do something. A break from your presence, that sharp, undeniable force that had somehow embedded itself into his life before he could even stop it.
But it wasn’t relief.
It was just wrong.
Sunghoon sat in his usual seat, elbow propped on his desk, fingers tapping against the smooth surface in slow, restless beats. He wasn’t the type to notice small things. He didn’t care when people switched seats, didn’t pay attention when someone got a new haircut, didn’t really bother keeping track of who was absent or present.
But you?
He noticed everything about you.
And now, all he could notice was that you were gone.
The silence in the classroom seemed to stretch out, growing heavier as he sat there, barely hearing the teacher’s voice. He kept looking toward the door, half-expecting you to walk through it, your usual nonchalant self, but you never did.
And every minute you were gone felt like an eternity.
Sunghoon wasn’t an idiot. He knew how people saw him as cold, detached, and impossible to read. And he let them believe it, because that was easier. It was easier to pretend nothing mattered than to admit that some things did.
And you?
You had always mattered.
It started long before the letter incident. Long before the school dog nonsense. Long before he even had a reason to interact with you. It had started in small moments, in fleeting glances, in the way his eyes always seemed to find you without meaning to.
He had watched you from a distance.
Always.
Not in a weird way, not in a way that would make anyone think too hard about it—but in a way that stuck. You had a presence that was impossible to ignore, no matter how hard he tried. You weren’t loud, you weren’t dramatic, you weren’t someone who demanded attention.
And yet.
Somehow, you had his.
You had it when you sat in class, twirling your pencil between your fingers, staring out the window like you were anywhere but here. You had it when you walked through the halls, always a little aloof, always just a little removed, like there was some part of you that wasn’t fully tethered to this place.
You had it before you even knew you had it.
And then, the letter.
The stupid, poorly timed, completely accidental letter.
Sunghoon still didn’t know what possessed him to pick it up that day. Maybe it was curiosity. Maybe it was instinct. Maybe it was just the excuse he had been waiting for.
Because the moment he held that letter, the moment he saw your handwriting, your words, your stupid beeper number he knew he was never going to give it back.
Not to Riki.
Not to anyone.
And instead of letting it go, instead of forgetting about it like he should have.
He used it.
He made up some ridiculous excuse, a power play, a way to keep you close.
School dog, my ass.
It had been so stupid. So immature, so unnecessary. But it had worked. It had kept you there. And that was all that mattered.
Because Sunghoon, despite everything, despite how he acted, despite how much he tried to deny it.
He just wanted to be near you.
Now, sitting in class without you, the emptiness in his chest gnawed at him. It wasn’t a sense of relief or peace that he felt—no, it was longing. It was the kind of ache he couldn’t explain, couldn’t ignore, no matter how much he tried to bury it under layers of apathy.
It wasn’t just about the tasks anymore, about the way he made you fetch his books or run his errands. It wasn’t even about the control he thought he had over you, the power he wielded just by making you his school dog. It was something deeper. Something far more unsettling.
He had tried to keep things casual, tried to convince himself that he was just messing with you, just finding a way to pass time, but that was a lie.
A damn lie.
The truth was that he had been watching you from the shadows for so long that when the opportunity to pull you into his orbit had arrived, he had taken it without thinking. He had dragged you into his little game because, in some twisted way, he thought it would make him feel better. But instead, it made him feel like a fraud.
Because every time he made you do something, every time you ran after him like some obedient pet, every time he saw you slumping with exhaustion after hours of doing his bidding, he wasn’t feeling triumphant.
He was feeling guilty.
And now, here he was sitting in a classroom, a half-empty desk across from him, with nothing but regret and desire burning through him like a flame that he couldn’t extinguish.
The guilt was suffocating.
Because he had made you into something you weren’t, something you didn’t deserve to be. He had used the letter as an excuse to get closer to you, to feed into this weird, unhealthy dynamic between the two of you, and now you were probably gone.
Now, you weren’t there to push around anymore.
And the truth? The truth was, Sunghoon didn’t care about the tasks or the commands. He didn’t care about having someone to do his bidding. He cared about you. He cared about your presence in his life, about the way your eyes would roll whenever he made a stupid request, about the way you would sigh and do it anyway, your silent, reluctant obedience making something twist inside him.
Now, without you, everything felt empty.
At lunch, the others noticed. They always did.
"You’re quieter than usual," Jay said, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Something up?"
Sunghoon didn’t answer.
Jake nudged him with his foot under the table. "Missing your little school dog?"
The comment was supposed to be a joke. Lighthearted. Something to tease him with, like always.
But it made something in Sunghoon clench.
Because yes.
Yes, he missed you.
But not the way they thought. Not because he didn’t have anyone to carry his books or fetch his drinks.
He missed you because it was you.
Because even when you rolled your eyes, even when you groaned, even when you called him an annoying tyrant under your breath.
You were still there.
And now, you weren’t.
And it was his fault.
Sunghoon stood up abruptly, ignoring the looks the others gave him.
"Where are you going?" Sunoo asked, raising an eyebrow.
Sunghoon didn’t answer.
Because, honestly?
He didn’t know.
All he knew was that he needed a plan to fix this.
The truth was Sunghoon had never wanted a school dog.
He had just wanted you.
──────────────────
The hospital room was quiet except for the steady beeping of the monitor beside you. The sterile white walls, the sharp scent of antiseptic, the cold metal of the IV stand—all of it blurred together in the background as you stared at the doctor standing at the foot of your bed.
His expression was careful, the kind of practiced neutrality doctors wore when they were about to deliver news that would change your life.
"We’ve reviewed your latest test results," he began, his voice calm but firm. "And I won’t sugarcoat it, you need a heart transplant. Immediately."
You knew this was coming. You had known for a long time that your condition was getting worse, that the fatigue and dizzy spells weren’t just bad days but signs of something irreversible. Still, hearing it out loud, the finality of it made something inside you cave.
"We’ve already put you on the transplant list," the doctor continued, flipping through your chart. "But," He stopped, hesitating for a moment before looking at you again. "You’re lucky. We found a donor a few days ago. A perfect match."
You blinked. "A donor?"
The words didn’t make sense at first. You had been bracing for months, years even, for an indefinite wait. For the uncertainty. For the possibility that a match wouldn’t come in time. But now, now it was here? Just like that?
"Yes," the doctor said. "The heart is in excellent condition. We’ve already done all the necessary compatibility tests, and if everything goes well, we’ll be scheduling your surgery soon."
Your hands tightened around the thin hospital blanket. There was a strange weight to this news, something you couldn’t quite place. It was relief, yes, but also something else, something heavier.
"Who?" You hesitated, licking your dry lips. "Who was the donor?"
The doctor’s face remained unreadable. "I’m afraid I can’t disclose that information."
Your heart stuttered.
It's just that someone had died a few days ago. Someone young enough, healthy enough, for their heart to be a perfect match for yours. And now it was yours for the taking.
You swallowed hard, trying to push down the strange unease creeping into your chest. This was good news. It was supposed to be good news.
You were recovering. Slowly, but surely. It had taken time, more than you wanted to admit, but you were on the mend. The doctors were hopeful.
You hadn’t been told about the donor. They didn’t tell you much. You didn’t ask too many questions. The only thing that mattered was that you were going to be okay. The rest of it felt like background noise to you.
And so, you recovered. You were still you just a little weaker, a little more fragile than before but you were back. Back to school, back to seeing people, back to facing the world. The hardest part had been getting back into the rhythm of everything, pretending like the last few weeks hadn’t happened.
You walked through the halls like you always had, but something was missing. It wasn’t just the way the world felt different after being so close to death. It was the way everything had changed without you even realizing it. There were new faces, new conversations, but something about this place seemed quieter than it used to be.
You didn’t see Sunghoon.
And that was... unsettling.
It was during lunch when it happened. You were sitting with some friends, nibbling on your food, when Riki approached. You didn’t expect it, but you should’ve. Riki had been around, had been supportive, and it wasn’t the first time he’d checked in on you. But this time, something felt different about his presence. There was a look in his eyes, a sadness you hadn’t seen before.
"Hey," Riki said quietly, standing beside your table, his hands stuffed into his pockets. He had a letter in his hand, folded neatly, looking so out of place in the cafeteria.
You frowned, noticing the way his eyes wouldn’t quite meet yours. "What’s this?"
He hesitated for a long moment, glancing over his shoulder before sitting down across from you. He unfolded the letter, and his voice softened. "I don’t know how to say this, but... I think you should read this. It’s from Sunghoon."
You blinked, confused. "Sunghoon? What’s going on?"
Riki didn’t answer right away. He just handed you the letter, the words scrawled in that familiar handwriting you had long since associated with his teasing and laziness. But this was different. This was more than just some casual note or school business.
You opened the letter carefully, feeling the weight of it, his words pressing against you like a secret you weren’t sure you were ready for.
And as you read, you could feel your chest tighten with each line. The letter was long, longer than any note he’d written you before, and it was more than an apology. It was a confession.
"I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I don’t even know if I’m brave enough to send this to you, but here goes. I want you to know that I’m sorry. For everything. I’m sorry for making you feel like you had no choice but to do what I said. I’m sorry for dragging you into this mess. I never meant for things to go this way."
You stopped for a second, feeling something stir in your chest, confusion, guilt, maybe even relief. This was Sunghoon. The Sunghoon you had never expected to say anything like this.
The next words hit harder.
I know you must hate me by now. I wouldn’t blame you. But please hear me out. When I made you my 'school dog,' I never meant for it to be like this. I just didn’t know how else to be around you. You were always so far away, so different from everyone else. I couldn’t stand it. I couldn’t stand that you didn’t need me. But I needed you. I don’t know when it happened, but I fell for you. I did. And I didn’t know how to deal with it. I thought maybe I could just have you close, even if I had to make you do stupid things for me. I thought it was funny at first. But the more I did it, the more I realized I was hurting you.
Your breath caught in your throat. His words were like a quiet storm, and every sentence felt like it was cracking something deep inside of you.
I never meant for you to feel this way. Never. And I hate myself for making you feel used. I didn’t realize how much I relied on you until I didn’t have you around anymore. I’m sorry. And I’ll never be able to make up for what I’ve done. I don’t know if I’ll get the chance to apologize to you in person, but I hope you can forgive me someday. I’m sorry. Please, just know this, it was always you. It was always you I was looking at, even when I wasn’t looking.
You stopped reading for a moment, trying to breathe through the rush of emotions. The weight of his words was too much. Too much for you to absorb all at once.
I’m not good at this, I wanna page your beeper, but I have a lot of things to say so it’s probably a bad idea to do, he had written, but if you need anything—if you ever need to talk or scream at me for being an idiot—I’m here. I promise you, I’ll be here.
And then came the final lines. They were short. Simple. And yet they carried the weight of everything you hadn’t realized you’d been hoping to hear.
I don’t expect you to forgive me. I don’t even know if I can forgive myself. But if you can, if you want to, please just know that I was trying to be better. I wanted to be better for you."
Your heart stopped for a moment, still clenching, as your hand shook around the letter. Riki, who had been quietly watching you, sighed and leaned forward slightly. "Sunghoon... he said that to me once, you know?"
You looked at Riki, trying to process the rush of feelings that were still swirling inside you.
He gave you a soft smile, one that didn’t quite reach his eyes, and reached for the letter in your hands. "He told me about everything. The letter, the deal you two had, before the accident."
You blinked. "What do you mean?"
Riki hesitated. His eyes grew dim as he looked down at the table. "He was on his way to visit you. He was going to apologize. He had flowers for you. He had this letter too… I’m sorry."
Your stomach dropped. The words didn’t make sense. "What do you mean? Was he okay?"
Riki’s voice cracked, and he looked away, taking a shaky breath before continuing. "He didn’t make it. he didn’t survive. He was hit, they tried to save him, but it was too late."
“He was your donor."
Your entire world tilted. The room felt like it was closing in on you. The beeping in your ears grew louder, drowning out everything else. No. It couldn’t be. It couldn’t have been him. Sunghoon had died. The person who had caused you so much pain, the person who had pushed you to your limits, had died... and somehow, you had his heart.
Riki stood up, his voice quiet but firm as he placed a hand on your shoulder. "I don’t know what to say, but... I know he would’ve wanted you to have it. His heart. Not in this way, he would’ve wanted you to be his dear, I think he was just too afraid to say it out loud."
You couldn’t speak. You couldn’t even think. The overwhelming weight of the truth, the reality that Sunghoon had been there for you in a way you never imagined tore through you. He had given you his heart, and now, in the cruelest twist of fate, it was the very thing that kept you alive.
You stared down at the letter in your hands, your fingers trembling, your vision blurred with tears you couldn’t quite hold back.
Riki’s voice was quiet as he placed the letter back in front of you. "He was trying to apologize. He was trying to make things right... and now you have his heart. I know it doesn’t make sense... but maybe, just maybe, this is how it was meant to be."
And as you sat there, still holding the letter, you realized one thing.
No matter how many apologies were written, no matter how much time passed, you would never be able to undo what had happened what you had never even understood. You had Sunghoon’s heart, but it would never be enough to fill the void he had left behind.
You just hoped that, somehow, wherever he was, Sunghoon had found the peace he never gave you while he’s still full of life.
──────────────────
In all honesty, Sunghoon had never been good at talking about his feelings. He had always preferred silence, preferred letting his actions speak for themselves, no matter how frustrating or cryptic they might have seemed to others. But that night, standing under the dim lights outside the convenience store, with Riki shoving a pack of chips into his hands like it was some kind of peace offering, he felt something heavy press against his chest.
Something that needed to be said.
Riki was already halfway through his drink, barely paying attention as he scrolled through his beeper messages. He looked up only when he noticed Sunghoon hadn’t moved in the past few minutes. "Dude, why do you look like you’re about to confess to me?"
Sunghoon scoffed, rolling his eyes, but the usual bite wasn’t there. "Shut up."
Riki grinned, but it faded when he caught the tension in Sunghoon’s expression. "Okay, seriously. What’s up?"
There was a beat of silence. Sunghoon exhaled through his nose, staring down at the condensation gathering on his drink can.
"You remember that letter?" he asked finally, his voice quieter than usual.
Riki frowned, setting his drink down. "What letter?"
Sunghoon clenched his jaw before forcing himself to say it. "The one that was meant for you."
It took a second, but then realization hit. Riki blinked, brows furrowing as he sat up straighter. "Wait. You mean—"
"Yeah," Sunghoon cut in before he could finish the thought. "That one."
Riki was staring now, full attention locked on him, his usual carefree demeanor slipping away. "Okay… And why are we bringing this up now?"
Sunghoon swallowed, fingers tightening around his drink. He had spent so long pretending like the letter hadn’t meant anything, like it had just been an opportunity to mess with you, to keep you close. But deep down, he knew that wasn’t true. He had kept the letter not because it was leverage, but because it had meant something to him because it had been about him, and for once, he had wanted to hold on to something that wasn’t fleeting.
"Because I should’ve told you sooner," he admitted, voice low. "It wasn’t a joke. It wasn’t some random crush. She actually liked you dude."
Riki didn’t say anything at first, just watching him carefully. And then, to Sunghoon’s surprise, he let out a small, quiet laugh one that held zero amusement.
"You’re an idiot," Riki muttered, shaking his head.
Sunghoon’s eyes snapped up. "What?"
Riki sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I knew."
Sunghoon stilled. "What do you mean, you knew?"
Riki exhaled through his nose. "I had a feeling. I just wasn’t sure. And besides, it never felt like she was into me like that, not after your deal with her."
Sunghoon’s fingers twitched. "Stop fucking around dude, it’s real, she liked you."
Riki gave him a dry look. "It wasn’t about me anymore, dumbass. It was about you."
Sunghoon opened his mouth, but nothing came out.
Riki continued, "She looked at you more than she ever looked at me. I don’t think she even realized it herself. But I saw it. I saw the way she followed you around, the way she complained but still did everything you told her to. I saw the way you looked at her too, by the way. You’re not as subtle as you think you are."
Sunghoon looked away, his grip tightening around the can. "It doesn’t matter now," he muttered. "I fucked it up. She probably hates me."
Riki didn’t deny it. He didn’t need to.
"What are you gonna do?" he asked instead.
Sunghoon let out a slow breath. "I’m going to see her. I need to fix this."
Riki studied him for a moment before nodding. "Good. You should give her everything she deserved because you are an idiot. "
And with that, Sunghoon tossed his drink in the trash, grabbed the bag of flowers and the letter from his pocket, and left, never knowing that he would never make it to you.

Present, 2024
"Ryoko, stop running. Your heart, my baby."
Your voice rang out through the warm summer air, but your daughter was already too far ahead, her tiny feet kicking up dust as she dashed across the grassy field.
Ryoko didn’t listen. She’s always full of life despite of her condition.
"Mama, I’m fine!" she called back, laughing breathlessly as she dodged between trees, her little white sneakers barely making a sound against the earth. "I’m super fast, see?”
You sighed, placing a hand over your chest as if that would ease the tight, familiar worry sitting in your ribcage. "That’s not the point, love. You know you have to be careful."
From beside you, Riki chuckled, reaching over to wrap an arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. "She’s fine," he murmured into your hair, pressing a kiss to your temple. "You worry too much."
You huffed, turning to glare at him, but there was no real fire behind it. "She’s six, Hun, she has my heart."
His expression softened, his grip around you tightening just a little. He knew what you meant. He always did.
"Our heart," he corrected gently, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. "And it’s strong. Just like you."
You swallowed, nodding, but the unease never fully left your chest. Ryoko was so full of life, so free-spirited and wild, with that same stubborn spark you once had before hospitals, before surgeries, before the weight of things you couldn’t change settled into your bones.
Before him.
Before Sunghoon.
The thought crept in before you could stop it, uninvited yet lingering like a familiar ghost.
It had been years. So many years. Years filled with happiness, with love, with laughter, with Riki. Years where you had moved forward, built a life, a family.
But some nights, when the world was quiet and your heart beat a little too steadily in your chest, you would remember.
You would remember the way Sunghoon had looked at you from across the classroom. The way he had smirked at you in the hallways, so effortlessly confident. The way he had made your life miserable only for you to realize, too late, that it had been his way of keeping you close.
You would remember his letter. His words. The apology he had written but never got to say in person.
And you would wonder.
What if?
What if Sunghoon had made it to the hospital that day? What if he had never stepped onto that street? What if he had never picked up your letter in the first place? Would things have been different? Would you have loved him the way you loved Riki now? Would you have been happy?
Or would it have all ended the same way—him, gone. You, left behind.
The wind blew softly, rustling the leaves around you.
"Hey," Riki murmured, his voice pulling you back to the present. His fingers brushed against yours, anchoring you. "You’re thinking again."
You exhaled slowly, giving him a small smile. "I’m always thinking."
"Yeah, but you’re thinking about him." Riki didn’t sound upset. “I miss him too, baby. He was my bro.” Your husband chuckled, there was no jealousy, no resentment—just understanding. He had known you too long, loved you too long, to be threatened by a memory.
You lowered your gaze, squeezing his hand. "I think I always will."
Riki nodded, pulling you into him, resting his chin atop your head. "That’s okay."
A small giggle snapped you both out of the moment, and you turned just in time to see Ryoko running back toward you, her tiny hands clutching a handful of wildflowers. Her cheeks were flushed, her breath quick but steady and healthy. Alive.
"Look!" she beamed, holding out the flowers proudly. "I got these for you, Mama!"
Your heart clenched, and for a brief second, the world blurred not from sadness, not from grief, but from something softer. Something warmer.
You knelt down, brushing a strand of hair from her face, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "They’re beautiful, my love. Thank you."
Ryoko giggled again before running off toward the picnic blanket, already distracted by something else, her small body glowing under the golden afternoon sun.
Riki watched her go, then turned back to you, his eyes full of something deep, something steady.
"Are you happy?" he asked suddenly, his voice quieter now.
You met his gaze, really met it, letting the question settle between you.
Were you happy? Yes, very.
You thought of Ryoko’s laugh, of the warmth of Riki’s hand in yours, of the love that had carried you through everything, through grief, through healing, through the unfairness of it all.
And then, softly, you nodded.
"Yeah," you whispered. "I am."
Because this was your life now.
And even though the past would always be there, even though Sunghoon’s heart still beat inside of you, even though there would always be a small part of you that wondered what could have been—
You were happy, because a part of him is still alive within you.
And that was enough.

SAVANACLAW WITH S/O, WHO IS SECRETLY ANIMAGUS.
[ Animagus — a magician, who can turn into an animal and back by their own will. ]
Leona Kingscholar.
— I actually headcanon that Leona has a strong Disney princess vibe, which means he is always surrounded by a lot of animals—and it is not about his classmates—so, when a stray cat starts following him around he doesn't see anything strange in that;
— Whenever he wakes up, there is always the same cat curled on his chest, a very pleasant weight on him almost reminding him of you, his lover;
— Leona's friendship with the cat starts when he offers it the peace of his meal that Ruggie brought. It licks his fingers and face after, and he introduces the cat as ”my partner in crime” to Ruggie affectionately;
— The cat hit him on the cheek with these little paws of it, when the headmaster is too close to the spot, where Leona sleeps carelessly, instead of being on lessons;
— Instantly, Leona wants you and the cat to meet each other. But when he tries to arrange the meeting in the botanical garden, something always goes wrong. He is so annoyed.
•
”Fucking fluffy brat!” Leona hisses, sniffling more intensely, trying to pick of the scent of the cat one more time. ”That is embarrassing, I swear.”
You smile as you lean on the tree with your shoulder. There is something especially funny about Leona, who searches for the cat desperately, with his tail swinging nervously. You don't even mask your laughter.
”I swear, this furball hates me,” Leona mutters. He is suddenly in front of you, with hands gripping your shoulders as he gently shoves you in the opposite side. ”Move, move. I think, she is somewhere here.”
“Su-ure,” you yawn with the fake sympathy.
”I am sure... It is somewhere... Here...”
You can't help but wonder how someone could be so smart and stupid at the same time...
Ruggie Bucchi.
— When a little bird sits down on his windowsill in the morning, Ruggie's first—and honest—reaction is to wonder if it is morally correct, to eat it alive;
— He stops thinking about that right after the bird throw a few branches in Leona's head, after he was especially mean to Ruggie;
— Since then, considers to befriend it. Brings some food for birds, and allows it to peck on his cheek;
— Allows it to travel on his shoulders, while he shows ”the bad guys, you should throw branches at, Birdie”, and complains the bird about everything and everyone during the day;
— Ruggie finds it unbelievably unfair how you, his lover, and Birdie, his best friend, are never in the same room.
•
”You hung up with Draconia boy too much,” Ruggie tells you, with the absolutely serious expression on his face, when you come to look at the empty cage again.
You blink, not really understanding where it is coming from.
”...What it has to do with you never being able to keep your bird to my arrival?” You mock, folding arms on your chest.
”His darkening aura annoys Leona, and it surely scares the Birdie away,” Ruggie hums.
You really can't help but burst out in laughter. Instantly, you throw a pillow in his head.
”Ouch, ouch!”
”And you should start hang out with Leona less,” you chid. ”Malleus is no at fault that you can't even train your pet.”
Though, of course, you are not his pet. And there is no way you are going to be train, even for a game.
”Yeah... You are right.”
But Ruggie doesn't need to know that. For now, at least.
Jack Howl.
— ???
— When a random rabbit starts following Jack around, he looks absolutely lost. Had this animal never heard that wolves eat their kind???
— ”Hey, come on... Go away, bunny... Go!” (Looks at it with the warmest eyes ever) ”Fine... The strong must protect the sweet one... But only because you are so small, and helpless!”
— He can't bring it to Savanaclaw, for the obvious reasons, so Jack makes a deal with Epel, to keep it in his dorms. Epel stress out, because the animal keeps appearing and disappearing on its own wish, though...
— Jack, somehow, justifies this strangeness with the fact that, of course, his Bun-Bun is not like other rabbits, huh! (He is so delusional...)
•
”Oh, Jack,” you mutter softly, scratching him behind the ear. ”Don't be sad. Surely, once I will be able to meet this rabbit of yours, too.”
Jack sighs, putting cheek on your shoulders, obviously disappointed that his two favourite creatures hadn't met yet. In moments like this, you are so close to tell him the truth... It is just impossible to see him sad...
”I know... But it happens so often. It is, as if you and Bun-Bun are the same person!” He blinks. ”Actually... You kinda act the same, you know?”
You pale visibly. How the fuck, from all of the in this school, Jack the only one who assumed the right answer, though, by the accident?!
”I... Jack...”
”Ha-ha,” the sudden loud laugh from the other end of the room startles both of you. ”Our dear Y/n, cette douce étoile, a bunny? Don't you think, a cat would fit them more?”
You sigh, waving Rook Hunt off, though, with a certain gratitude.
”Jack, you would notice, though, wouldn't you? You have extra senses.”
He nods reluctantly, but you can see doubt in his eyes. And when you turn around, Rook winks at you, knowingly.
You are in so much trouble...

Chapter 14: The End of the Beginning
The sun was setting over KISS as the final bell of the semester rang, signaling the start of winter break. Students poured out of their classrooms, ready to head home or off to their various holiday plans. The campus was alive with chatter and excitement, but amidst the chaos, Minho and Y/N found themselves in a little corner of the school grounds—just the two of them, away from the noise. It felt like the perfect ending to a chapter in their lives. A chapter that had been filled with moments of uncertainty, laughter, and most importantly, a whole lot of growth.
“Are you sure you’re ready for the holidays?” Minho asked, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he leaned against a tree, watching Y/N who was furiously scribbling something in her notebook. She looked up at him, her expression half-exasperated, half-amused.
“Yeah,” Y/N replied, rolling her eyes but her smile giving her away. “I’m ready to eat my weight in food, sleep for at least twelve hours a day, and watch way too many K-dramas.”
Minho chuckled, taking a step closer. “Sounds like a perfect break. No exams or last-minute assignments?”
“Don’t jinx it,” Y/N said, narrowing her eyes at him but smiling all the same. “I swear, if I get one more surprise assignment after all this… I’m going to lose it.”
“Well, just know I’m here to keep you company when you inevitably procrastinate,” Minho teased, his voice dripping with affection. He reached over to gently tug at her hair, a playful glint in his eyes.
Y/N rolled her eyes dramatically, but there was a warmth in her chest that she couldn’t deny. It had been a whirlwind since they’d admitted they were no longer just playing the “fake dating” game. Things had shifted so much between them, and now, a few weeks into their real relationship, it felt like they were in a place where everything was falling into place. They had figured out how to balance school, their social lives, and, well, them.
“Speaking of which,” Minho continued, “I know you’re excited for the holidays, but… I was thinking… Do you want to spend New Year’s Eve with me?”
Y/N blinked, startled by the question. “New Year’s Eve? With you? What do you have in mind?”
Minho’s eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint. “Well, I was thinking of a quiet night—just the two of us, maybe a movie marathon, junk food, and, of course, midnight snacks. You in?”
Y/N couldn’t suppress the small laugh that bubbled up from her chest. “You’re asking me to spend New Year’s Eve with you alone? No grand parties or fireworks?”
“Not unless you want to make it more complicated,” Minho said with a grin. “But, honestly, I think it’s time we had some quiet time together. Just us.”
Y/N’s heart fluttered. She loved how considerate he was, how he had always been thoughtful about what she wanted, even when it came to small things like this. “That sounds perfect,” she said softly. “I’ll even let you pick the movies, but don’t make it all action films.”
Minho raised an eyebrow in mock offense. “What’s wrong with action movies? I’m trying to teach you about real cinema.”
“Real cinema?” Y/N said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Please, I’ll teach you about the wonders of rom-coms and tear-jerkers, and we can have a whole marathon of those.”
“Deal,” Minho said with a nod, before leaning in closer to her. “But only if you let me buy the snacks. I promise I won’t get anything too weird.”
Y/N laughed, shaking her head. “You’re on,” she said, pulling him into a playful hug. “I’ll hold you to that.”
Minho’s arms wrapped around her, holding her gently but with a possessive kind of care that made her heart skip. “Can’t wait,” he murmured against her hair. “It’s going to be nice. Just you, me, and a mountain of snacks.”
Y/N grinned, pulling back slightly to look up at him. “Sounds like the best way to spend the night. No drama, no fake dating—just us.”
Minho’s smile softened. “Exactly. We’ve been through so much in such a short time. And you know, I’ve realized that I’m really glad it was with you.”
The tenderness in his voice made Y/N’s stomach flutter, and she leaned up to kiss him lightly on the lips. When they pulled apart, she looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes. “Same here, Minho. Same here.”
Just as they were about to start walking back to the main campus, they heard footsteps behind them. Turning around, they saw the familiar faces of their friends approaching, their expressions curious.
“Hey!” Dae called out, a playful grin on his face. “Are you two lovebirds finally done with your secret rendezvous?”
“Secret rendezvous?” Y/N teased, raising an eyebrow. “Is that what you think this is?”
Q snickered, nudging Dae. “It’s only a secret if we pretend it is.”
Yuri rolled her eyes, but there was a softness to her gaze as she looked at Minho and Y/N. “So, what’s going on? We’ve heard all about your fake relationship, but now that it’s real, are we supposed to throw you guys a party or something?”
Y/N laughed, feeling her heart swell with affection for her friends. “Not a party,” she said, turning to Minho, who was still grinning at her. “But we’ve got New Year’s Eve plans.”
“Let me guess,” Q said, raising an eyebrow. “A rom-com marathon with pizza?”
Y/N smirked. “How did you know?”
“Because that’s exactly what I would do,” Q said with a wink. “Don’t worry, we won’t crash it—unless you want us to.”
Yuri giggled at that, nudging Q playfully. “I think they deserve their quiet time. They’ve earned it.”
“Exactly,” Minho agreed, putting his arm around Y/N’s shoulders. “We’ll have a proper date night. No interruptions.”
Their friends laughed, exchanging knowing glances but respecting their privacy. There was a shared understanding between them that, even though their relationship had started as a game, it had turned into something deeper. Y/N had never imagined she’d end up here, with Minho, her feelings no longer a tangled mess of confusion but rather a clear and comforting certainty. She was exactly where she needed to be.
“So, are we still doing the whole ‘New Year’s Eve together’ thing, or are you guys ditching us for your cozy little movie marathon?” Dae asked, a teasing grin on his face.
Y/N shook her head, a mischievous glint in her eye. “No way. You’re all invited to join, but only if you promise to let me control the remote.”
The group laughed again, with Q shaking his head dramatically. “We’ll let you have your moment, Y/N. Just don’t forget us when you become all romantic.”
As they all walked back to the campus, Minho’s hand remained firmly in Y/N’s. He squeezed it gently, and she returned the gesture, her heart warm with happiness.
This was the end of their beginning, the chapter of confusion and miscommunication, but it was just the start of something much bigger. Something real. And with the promise of new adventures and quiet nights ahead, Y/N knew that whatever the future held, she and Minho would face it together.
The stars were beginning to twinkle in the sky as they made their way back, and Y/N couldn’t help but smile as she realized that the best was yet to come.
The End.

How would they reached if batsis just can't remember them and keeps on telling them they have the wrong person?
I LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK. Guess who's back!! Sorry it took me so long to get this out, I haven't had the motivation to write until recently. Also OOC warning bc I don't really know him well besides the Deadpool movies. I almost freaked out bc I haven't used the tumblr website in so long and it got updated so I thought I lost all my drafts. So glad they're still here, whew. Not beta read so I'm sorry if there are any mistakes!
---
It's been a year since moving into your apartment and you couldn't be happier. College was going well and you were taking classes you enjoyed. However, you haven't made any friends yet which led you to spend your free time reading or surfing the web. Jason didn't come by much due to having his own life and vigilante things, which you understood. It didn't mean you couldn't be a little bit sad about it though.
Even though you were enjoying your life, you still felt as if there was something missing. You'd been trying to figure out why you had felt this way but nothing came to mind. Any time you tried to brush off the feeling, it came back stronger. You did your best to ignore it and continue on with life, but it was always there, nagging you.
It had been a long day. College was so stressful. Your professors kept hurling projects at you that had deadlines that were practically impossible to meet. You just wanted it to end already and be on summer break. Then, you’d be able to sleep how long you wanted to without the fear of being late for class or forgetting to complete an assignment.
You sat down at your desk and pulled out your laptop, preparing to continue an essay that was due in three days. Suddenly, you began to feel nauseous. Confused, you attempted to ignore the feeling in favor of completing the essay. A few seconds after trying to focus on your laptop screen, you saw a bright light.
"My child, you will be saved from this life." A strangely comforting voice said.
Then everything faded to black.
---
"Hello?!"
A voice. A voice? But you live alone and no one has the spare key to your apartment. You slowly opened your eyes, groaning and quickly shutting them again once a bright light blinded you.
"Oh you're alive, thank God. Can you speak?" Whoever this was seemed to have been panicking before, slightly less though now that you had indicated you were alive. You groan as you push yourself up off of what seems to be concrete. Concrete? You're definitely not in your apartment. You crack your eyes open again, this time with less difficulty, and come face to face with white lenses of a mask. Blinking again, you register that the lenses are attached to a red material with black lines.
"Ah!"
"AH!" The figure yells and jumps back, startled by your sudden surprise.
"What the hell are you supposed to be?" You asked, tilting your head slightly to the side.
"What do you mean? I'm Spiderman." His voice was a bit high pitched, he sounded like a teen at most.
"Spiderman? You've got to be joking. There is no Spiderman. Go home kid, crime fighting isn't a game." Sure, you may be a hypocrite, seeing as you are an ex-assassin who began learning how to kill at around 5, but at least you had training. What did this Spiderman have? From how startled he was, you assumed he had barely been trained, if at all.
“What? I'm literally Spiderman! I'm Queens' hero!"
"Queens, New York?" You thought you'd still be in New Jersey at least.
"Uh yeah. I don't think there are any other places called Queens that have a Spiderman."
"Again, Spiderman? Seriously? You couldn't think of a better name at least?"
"Hey! There's nothing wrong with Spiderman!"
"Sure kid, keep telling yourself that."
He was about to protest when suddenly, someone else dropped into the alley.
"Hey Spidey, who's this lovely lady?" A person in an all red with black suit with two swords on his back and guns strapped to his waist called out. The person seemed to be a male, around 30 years old.
"This 'lovely lady' is very confused. Who are you?" They keep multiplying, and you'd never seen this person either.
"Did you hit your head or something? You've never heard of or seen Deadpool? The most handsomest, most awesomest, funniest, killer crime fighter?"
"Uh nope. Also, I'm from Jersey, how did I end up here?"
"Good question. What's your name?"
"Oh, it's-" You stopped in confusion. "I actually don't remember. It was just at the tip of my tongue but I don't remember."
"Oh great! Amnesia! Just what we need. I'll let you handle her Spidey and I'll go stop some bad guys, 'kay?"
"What! No, don't leave me here!" Deadpool was already sprinting away.
"Let's get you to the base. Colossus and the others will know what to do."
---
They did not, in fact, know what to do. Colossus sent Negasonic and Yukio to contact Professor X, while Spiderman went to contact Tony Stark (I'm still emotionally scarred from Endgame so no, he won't be dead, this is my fanfic and I can keep him alive if I want to) and Deadpool went back out to patrol. You were left alone with Colossus.
Uncomfortable silence sat between you. Just as you were beginning to get antsy, Colossus broke it first.
"Do you remember anything at all?"
"I'm... a college student. I live alone in an apartment in New Jersey, I think. I used to fight crime until... I don't know, it's fuzzy. I'm an ex-assassin who has been training since I was 5. That's all I remember."
"You can remember that but not your name?"
"Look, I don't know okay? I don't know what's happening or why I can't remember anything else. I want to remember who I am, but I can't. And it's so... so frustrating! Your suspicion is understandable, but it is not helping."
"I apologize. This is a stressful situation for you. I will be more considerate."
"Thank you."
---
They could not figure out what happened to you or why you suddenly appeared in Queens one day. Your memory remained fuzzy, so you were stuck. As time passed, you and Colossus grew closer. You became so close that he told you his real name, you became a couple, and you got married. Seven years passed, you were 25 and you'd been trying for a baby. You both felt the time was right and that you'd be able to handle parenting.
Colossus came home from work one day, spent and tired. There you were, waiting for him at the door as usual.
"Hi my love, long day?" You fiddled with the positive pregnancy test behind your back.
"Yes darling, when is it not?"
"Well, we're going to have to figure something out, because there's no way I'll wake up every night to take care of our baby."
He looked confused, then realization hit. "You're..?" He looked so happy and hopeful, you couldn't contain your happiness. A huge smile lit up your face.
"Yes, we're finally going to be parents!" You pulled out the pregnancy test and held it up to him.
He laughed a joyful laugh, tears began to fall from the corners of his eyes as he embraced you. It must've been infectious because you began to tear up too. You remained in each other's embrace for a while, just existing in the moment. Time felt irrelevant as you basked in your shared delight.
---
8 months later, your belly had swollen and grown. Everyone was happy for the both of you. You and Colossus were both eager for your little one to arrive. You'd both decided to wait for birth to find out the gender. It didn't matter to you whether it was a boy or girl, just that they were healthy (gender's a construct anyway). The pregnancy had been going great so far, but this time of easy-going was about to get ruined by your husband's job.
---
Your world had merged with another because of some cosmic threat. Great! Your husband would be preoccupied trying to fix the situation, which meant that you'd be alone. Selfishly, you wished that they could let your husband stay with you so close to your due date, but you knew he had a role to play in saving two worlds.
Seeing your loneliness, Colossus decided to bring you with him to the Avengers' base. He hoped you'd be able to befriend some of the people there. You entered the compound and your eyes were drawn to some men standing beside a set of double doors. They all had suits on, black hair (one guy had two white streaks in his hair) and most had blue eyes, except for one man who had green eyes. He was also noticeably the darkest of the group. They felt familiar to you, especially the man with green eyes. Have you met them before? Who were they?
As your husband was discussing some details about the meeting, you couldn't help but watch the group of men. Not knowing why you thought you knew them annoyed you. As if they could feel your eyes on them (they could), they turned around in sync and locked eyes with you.
Their eyes widened and they all exclaimed your name in various degrees of disbelief. They rushed over to you and your husband protectively stepped in front of you
"How do you know my wife?"
"Wife?!" Some of them shouted. They were beginning to cause a scene.
"You're pregnant." The one with green eyes observed. He seemed to be having some sort of crisis.
All their eyes darted to your belly, making you uncomfortable. You placed your hand over your stomach and attempted to discretely hide behind your husband. This did not go unnoticed by them.
"You don't remember us?" The shortest of them questioned.
"No, I've never met you guys." You were very confused.
The man who appeared to be the oldest said your name. You stared at him as he studied your eyes, presumably to see if you were lying. It made you feel vulnerable and unsettled, couldn't they leave you alone?
"We're your family."
The guy with the white streaks in his hair scoffed. "You didn't treat her like she was family. I was the only one who cared for her when she was younger while you all ignored her and let her suffer. I'm glad she doesn't remember what you all did to her. She's clearly living a much better life without you lot in it."
This was getting more confusing by the second, although you felt there was truth to his words. Did you forget these people? They seemed very convincing if they were lying.
"I'm sorry but I really don't remember you guys. Maybe you have the wrong person?"
"No we don't! You disappeared one day and now that we've finally found you, you're saying you forgot everything!"
"That is enough. Please leave my wife alone, she does not know you, and she does not need the unnecessary stress of trying to remember people she's never met. Do not approach her anymore." Colossus guided you away from the men, who stared longingly at you. The heartbroken expressions they had after your husband's speech would follow you often. Were you sure you'd never met them before?

Code Pizza
Leon Kennedy x fem reader Established relationship, fluff 1,531 words
“Can’t you go any faster?” The barrel of a gun is pressed against the already tender spot from where they’d oh-so-kindly whacked you round the head earlier and you wince, losing the slight flow you’d managed to build up on the keyboard – Leon’s words echoing around your head.
“Promise me you won’t ever do any of that self-sacrificing bullshit,” he’d mumbled in your ear, arms wrapped around you in bed. He’d got back from a mission that afternoon – been awful quiet about what it had entailed, what had happened and you hadn’t pressed.
“Me?”
“Mm. Like, if… If someone’s forcing you to do something – do it, we’ll sort out the mess later. You make sure you’re home and alive at the end of the day.” His voice sounded almost strained. “Just promise me, sweetpea.”
“I promise.”
Not exactly sure if this scenario was exactly what Leon had had in mind, but there’s a gun and a threat, so you’re typing… or at least attempting to.
“She’d be faster if you’d untied her hands.” Hunnigan grumbled from behind, seated in an office chair with her hands zip-tied behind her back. Yours are bound in front of you, keeping your wrists crossed, and essentially cutting one hand out of action entirely.
“Is that true?” Your minder – A, you decide to call him - leans forward into your peripheral vision, though his face is obscured by a ski mask – as is his companion’s – B - standing over Hunnigan. They’re geared up to the nines, spare ammo dangling off tactical belts, part of a larger operation in order to gain access to DSO HQ and you, apparently. The doors are locked down due to the emergency protocol, though the HQ works on a skeleton crew at the weekend so it’s possible that no-one even knows you and Hunnigan are in.
“100 words per minute at my best.” You shrug, eyes skimming over the code you’ve managed to get through so far. “I’m probably working at… 15 and less. So, yeah, it would be faster.”
“Nice try.” B states. “You’re writing code, not a novel.”
“Novel, no. Poetry, maybe...” You trail off. It would be a lot easier if you did have both of your hands, weren’t being held at gunpoint and not suffering from a raging headache.
You weren’t even supposed to be working, it being a Sunday. You’d been in yesterday working overtime on a project, but this morning had been spent catching up on dull chores around the house – laundry, going to the store, cleaning - and then the plan had been an afternoon of video games on the sofa, ordering a pizza for dinner, accompanied by a bottle of wine. Leon had been away a couple of days on a need-to-know basis and you didn’t have a date of when he’d be back, though he did always try and give you a couple of hours’ heads up on his impending arrival.
Early afternoon, just as you’d sat down, controller in hand, you’d got a call. Not from your boyfriend, however, but from one Ingrid Hunnigan, extremely apologetic but there had been urgent developments – vague, as always – and she needed you in ASAP. You’d agreed, couldn’t really refuse her, but you’d decided in a slight show of protest you weren’t getting changed into your more professional work wardrobe. If it truly was an emergency, they’d have to deal with you in your jeans and t-shirt…
..which had led to the nasty bruise on your temple when the intruders had burst in, taking you as a civilian to be subdued. When you came to, hands now bound, head thudding, fingers being snapped in front of your face to get your attention, you were wheeled in front of the computer terminal and given your objective.
“It’s faster in the movies.” A comments, waving the gun lazily now at least.
“We’re not in the movies.” You grumble back, irritated. “I’m writing a bespoke code to get into this system.”
B comes to stand at your side, then. “Well, our contact promised us that you were some sort of genius at this sort of stuff.”
“Maybe when I’m not concuss-” You’re cut off by him slamming his fist on the desk besides you, making you jump and your heart pound.
“Enough lip, enough excuses. Concentrate.”
You shuffle in the seat, repositioning your hands and continue on with what’s been demanded of you, Leon’s words echoing in your mind.
Your phone emits a jingle from your pocket – speak of the devil…
“What’s that?” B demands, looking around.
“It’s my phone – just a text.”
“You were meant to search her, you idiot.” B chides his companion. “Where is it?”
“Jacket pocket.” It chimes again.
“Someone’s popular.” You bite your tongue as he crouches down besides you, placing a hand unnecessarily on your thigh as he dips his hand in your pocket, fishing it out. “Who’s LSK?”
“My boyfriend.” You don’t need to turn to know Hunnigan’s trying to hold in a grin.
“Says he’s on his way home, wants to know if you’re there.”
“Can you tell him I’m working late and he should order pizza for dinner? I haven’t been grocery shopping yet and I was meant to.”
“I’m not your secretary,” B scoffs.
The phone chimes again. You’d set Leon’s messages to that obnoxious sound to be sure you heard it, not wanting to miss a chance to text with him whilst he was away. If he had time on his hands, his texts often turned to stream of consciousness until he got a reply.
“You ignoring me, sweetpea? God, he’s a bit needy, isn’t he?”
“He’ll just keep doing it unless I text back,” you pause in your typing, “Or I can do it…”
“Ah-ah, keep working.” B replies, tapping at your phone’s keyboard.
It chimes again and B sighs.
“He wants to know what you want.”
“Er…” You hesitate a moment, pretending to doublecheck a string value. “Veggie. Extra jalapenos.”
He taps again and sends, before placing your phone down on the desk out of reach. His hand squeezes your shoulder and he leans in. “Keep coding like a good girl, and we’ll make sure you get home for that pizza.”
--
You don’t know how he managed it with the protocols in place – surely it means there’ll be another security review - but a mere 45 minutes later after ordering your pizza, Leon comes crashing down from the ceiling, taking out A and B with single, effective shots in the chest as he does.
He forward rolls out of the impact and gets to his feet with a flourish.
“Sorry for the wait, ladies, pizza’s free since it wasn’t 30 minutes or less.” He grins, heading to Hunnigan first and cutting through her restraints.
“Do I even want to ask?” Hunnigan quirks an eyebrow, rubbing her wrists. Leon walks over to you next, crouching down in front of you and cutting your wrists free. “Wait, extra jalapenos?”
“Bingo.” You reply, though unable to tear your eyes away from Leon – he looks tired, not unusual after returning from a mission, in need of a shave. He cups your face, fingers gently brushing over the tender spot on your temple to assess the damage. “It’s a dumb code, we know.”
“No, it obviously worked. Good thinking.” Hunnigan nods, getting to her feet and approaching another terminal, sliding in her keycard to overrule the emergency controls and release the doors. “I need to call this all in – get it tidied up. Did you gain access?”
“No, couple of lines away, though.” You look at the lines of code on the screen. “I did spend a lot of time to make sure it had a real nice interface for when I ran it, for extra pizazz.”
“Good work – both of you.” Hunnigan turns to face Leon directly then, “Make sure you keep an eye on her - took quite a hit.”
“I will. Thanks, Hunnigan.” He remains crouched at your feet, your hand in his, squeezing it reassuringly.
“Good. And don’t come into tomorrow – either of you. I’ll deal with… this.” She strides out with purpose, shoulders back, nothing alluding to the fact that she was a woman who’s been held hostage for the past however many hours.
“You good, sweetheart?”
You smile, staring deep into those blue eyes you adore. “I’m good. You?”
“Won’t lie, not quite the homecoming I expected. Come here.” He pulls you up out of the chair and against his chest, wraps his arms around you and kisses you frantically, though you know it’s in relief.
“Had me worried with those jalapenos,” Leon admits, softly.
“I kept my promise.”
“Mm, not quite.” He pulls back and grins – you know that grin – but you still let out a squeal as he hooks an arm under your legs and picks you up in his arms.
“Leon, I can-“
“Nah, your promise isn’t kept and my mission isn’t over till you’re home. Allow me to give you the full hero experience.”
You roll your eyes, before pressing a kiss to his jaw.
“Fine. But we’re still getting pizza.”
“Took the words outta my mouth, sweetpea.”

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF MASS EFFECT 3
...if anybody cares. Yeah, it's been 13 years since it came out but hey, I'm just getting here myself, so I figured I ought to at least lob in a warning, just in case. 😉
Anyway, I'm not done yet but I realized, as I'm about to do the Priority: Rannoch mission, what's about to happen to Legion. 😭😭😭
Which has led me to really trying to figure out which ending I plan on going for. Note: despite this being my first trilogy playthrough, I've known about the various endings for years now, so I decided to try and RP my Shepard in the best way I can to achieve an ending that felt the most like he would've selected.
But here's the thing (as I'd imagine I'm hardly the first to struggle with): my Shepard doesn't want any of these endings. (My understanding may be off on certain points but this is the gist of what I understand about all of the endings.)
Synthesis offers the most survivors, with not only your Normandy crew including EDI but the Geth as well, though not Shepard. However, the incredible lack of consent just skeeves me out. Forcing every living being to be merged down to their DNA into an organic/synthetic hybrid is bad enough but the idea that this will keep the Reapers from continuing their cycle so therefore everybody's going to be fine is ignoring the fact that every species has fought amongst itself since time began. So what's to stop a future person/species from coming up with something that will wipe out all life anyway, no help from Reapers required? So, while I like the idea that EDI and the Geth survive (and even seem to thrive a bit more with them gaining organics), this ending is off the table for me and my Shep.
Control keeps EDI and the Geth alive as well as saves the Normandy crew but again sacrifices Shepard, just in a different way. Shepard merges with the Reapers to take them over and thus end their cycle of killing all organics in the universe. But this is predisposing that this new Shepard!Reaper being won't eventually be corrupted and decide to resume killing organics or certain species or whatever might be. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, after all, and Shepard isn't immune to that. Even worse, this ISN'T Shepard, this is a Reaper with Shepard's memories, creating a new being. If I were Shepard, I'd consider that all you're doing is HOPING that the Reapers don't, at some point, decide to restart their cycle but you've got no way to ensure that they won't.
Destroy is the only ending that I can see really being an option because the Reaper threat will be GONE. But you're also killing EDI and all of the Geth, including those Legion sacrificed itself to save and who have become your allies. To put it another way, it would be like saying, "Okay, we can guarantee that the Reapers will be destroyed but this will also kill all Turians, including Garrus." (Or insert name of other species/squadmate like Asari/Liara, Quarians/Tali, etc.) Would Shepard be willing to do that? I know he wouldn't want to sacrifice anybody, other than himself, and I think it sucks that no matter which ending you take, you have to sacrifice something significant. Yeah, I get that it makes it more realistic but, darn it, I get enough realism in real life, lol.
I also find it really odd that, according to the colors, Control is the Paragon choice and Destroy the Renegade one. I mean, yeah, Destroy and Renegade do go together but Shep becoming a Reaper Godlike being is Paragon? That just doesn't track for me. 🤔😬
There's also the fact that Destroy, with a high enough War Asset Score, is the only ending with a hint that Shepard survives.
At the moment, I'm leaning the most towards Destroy but, mannnnn, I wish there was a way to save EDI, whom I adore, and the Geth, whom I also love because of Legion and when they're allies and not shooting at me, lol! I'll have to just hope that someway, somehow, EDI and the allied Geth can somehow be resurrected, even if we don't see it in-game.
So, to those out there who've played the trilogy, which ending did you get/want? I'd love to hear about it! Let me just scribble down some notes as we chat...
😉Love you all, my friends, and I hope you're doing well! 💖

“I generally keep track of the number of people watching me have sex. Isn’t that true for you?”
Surprise! I’m still alive. Mostly. My job has been insane for the past like two months, trying to get into this huge initiative that’s supposed to make a ton of money and it’s been a lot of pressure and so I’ve been just comfort watching because my brain literally can’t handle anything else after a long workday
BUT! I finally just took a short vacation up to see my nephews as an early birthday present and that means binging something new with my sister and we picked
THE RESIDENCE.
And it was mothereffing amazing. So, so, so, so so so so so good. Like wow.
Wherein, the head usher of the White House dies during a State Dinner and the ‘best detective in the world’ is brought in to try and solve the mystery of whodunnit.
I have to start by saying that I REALLY appreciate the fact that we as a society seem to love the ‘quirky detective that is the GOAT of detecting in their universe solves a truly ridiculous case’ trope. IT NEVER GETS OLD! Benoit Blanc. Poirot. Sherlock Holmes, obviously. Jessice Fletcher (yeah, she totally counts). And now, Cordelia Cupp.
It’s one of my favorite themes ever. I will never tire of it. I will watch every ridiculous show / movie that utilizes it. They aren’t all going to be amazing of course, but this one really, really is.
I will also admit that in recent years I haven’t cared about anything coming out of Shondaland - I mean, I was obviously obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy in 2007 like the rest of the world, and I have watched the entirety of Scandal (mostly because I’d sunk too much time into it to stop when I realized that Olivia was batshit crazy and I hated her relationship with Fitz) so I was thinking this wasn’t gonna be good and I’m glad to be proved wrong. They need to make more things like that, please let Grey’s die already and go all in on weird, funny things. It’d be worth it, I promise.
Anyway. There’s eight episodes and they’ll make you laugh out loud and also feel really terrible at points. The story is mostly contained to a single night at the White House and there are a ton of infuriating and or wonderful characters and I’m truly obsessed with Cordelia Cupp in a weird way. She’s a birder. And that’s so ridiculous. It’s a giant plot point within the show and it’s not something I thought I would ever find interesting but it kind of was. What a weird hobby! But people love it. And I kind of get it, now? Like, why.
The entire cast is fantastic, but I really love the FBI foil Cordelia has in Edwin. He’s the perfect punching bag slash sounding board and one of the least terrible men in a room full of terrible men. At one point she laments when yet ANOTHER dude shows up to tell her how to do her job or fight over jurisdiction and I was just like ‘giiiiirl, I am with you.’ HOW MANY DUDES DO YOU NEED?
Basically, Cordelia is a bamf. And all of the random stories and background information she gathers is fascinating. I LOVE drama, like ridiculous workplace drama gets me going and that is basically, the entirety of the show. It’s all about interpersonal dynamics and how small shit can turn into big shit can turn into a motive for murder.
A.B., the murder victim, was just trying to run basically the most important household in the country well but people are people and they can be terrible and petty and he handled all of it with grace and he never had a family but the House was his family. And I enjoyed that they let the audience get to know him through his interactions with all of the different ‘suspects’ - sometimes there isn’t enough focus on the victim but Cordelia made sure he was at the forefront.
Also, there were enough twists and turns to keep this show interesting as hell. I really do try not to guess who did it because I just want to go along for the ride but my sister and I couldn’t help but theorize on how it was ultimately going to play out. I really don’t play that game but I just kept saying ‘YO who did it I need to know’ and the reveal was really, truly fantastic.
It ended up being the character I wanted it to be, but I couldn't explain WHY or HOW so it was super satisfying to be justified in my random hatred of them. Looking back on it, maybe it would be kind of obvious to someone else but man, they lead you down so many paths you get twisted around and it’s enough to just follow Cordelia’s crazy brain around until it all makes sense.
Finally, you should know this before you start: Andre Braugher was meant to play A.B. but he passed away with only half of his scenes finished. If you watch this with that in your mind, it’s gonna devastate you even further. He would have been the PERFECT A.B. Wynter.
The point is, here’s how I should probably be ranking shows from now on: while I was watching this, I actually put down my laptop, and like really, really watched. Can’t remember the last time I’ve done that. Lose yourself in it, you guys. It’s all about the birds.

Save the Tiger AU: FINAL Survivor Exit Interview
(Sorry for just spamming y'all today Inspiration struck me and I found it a fun writing exercise. Anyways the queen's arrived bow for her)
...
*Bzt*
...
"Hello? Mr. Harada? I apologize for calling you back but I was wondering if you knew the location of-"
"Okazaki Hanano?"
"I... Y-yes we need them for- ...Wait..."
"Good evening, Seki."
"Yume! W-Why you are calling from Harada's Number?"
"I'm currently crashing on his couch... His energy's been low on trying to keep his daily activities so Im helping him as best I can with his animal caretaking... Plus Im wanted throughout Nagoya so... Yeah..."
"...I see..."
"Cut the casualties Seki. I know what you're here for. I'm the final one, right? We've established a communication system by now, us four... We know what's happening..."
"...Very well... In that case, let's cut straight to the questions: State your name and Occupation for the record..."
"Okazaki Hanano... I'm a Mask Maker originally from Nagoya... Now Ive set up base in Yokohama... Hopefully rather permanently..."
"Really? No more with your bold audacious villain personality you went on about during the Second Trial? Has all that faded away?"
"... I'm... taking a break from evil... for a little while... I... I think there are more important matters in the world right now..."
"Taking a break from Villainy?! Wow, you really have lost your touch, Yume!"
"Next question, Seki..."
"Right right. So, before yesterday, you spent a total of 36 days in the first session of our Killing Game Experiment. How would you describe your experience?"
"Oh it was thrilling. The Bloodshed, the drama, the tears, all for the sake of some boring scientific research. It truly moved me."
"Wait seriously?"
"No. God. Seki. Take a fucking hint. Did you not get the same answer from the other three?"
"I mean... I just thought-"
"Alright, then let me spell it out for you. I have suffered many tragedies at the hands of that woman that I am disgusted to say that I even share the slightest bit of DNA, much less half. This Killing Game... This Killing Game is so much more disgusting, so much more vile, so much more horrible... So... Much... More... Awful... Than every god damn forsaken thing she's done in her life... Combined... And doubled... If she rots in hell for nothing else... I hope she burns in agonizing pain for what she did to us..."
"...I see..."
"You see, if I had been one of the only deaths, and Id been one of like, what, 3 deaths in the entire game... Maybe I'd find it somewhere deep in my corrupted soul to at least hear her actions out... But not only was she too much of a pussy to kill me without killing my friends... But she sacrificed 12 innocent souls while leaving me to walk this earth... That is the most evil thing I can imagine... And I will never forgive her for it..."
"Wow... Seems we're going 4 for 4... Everyone Hates Hanano..."
"I know what I did... And I know I don't deserve forgiveness... But Haruka Yonekura... She deserves far far less than even me..."
"..."
"..."
"...If you could go back, and change your killing game experience in any way, knowing what you know now... Would you change anything?"
"...So many things... I'll stick to one though... I'd go back... And Kill Nakamigawa with my own hands... No one else... Id let Tsuno and Wada to the end... While I left dead on the floor... That way... Maybe the 10 of them could've snuck out... Made it without me somehow... Tsuno... Hama... Chiba... All of them... They might all have still been alive..."
"Interesting choice... You and Harada Keizou gave very similar answers... Both of you so willing to turn in your lives for others..."
"We know we shouldn't have survived... And we're trying to make amends for that fact..."
"Noted... One more question, and I'll let you go Yume... We'll never speak again..."
"Oh I hope we speak again... I hope I can hear your dying screams as I puncture your neck"
"..."
"But continue, regardless..."
"...Do you really regret what you've done? Do you truly believe that you were in the wrong? ...Or do you only regret it because Nishino committed suicde because of you..."
"..."
"..."
"...How... Dare you..."
"Hmm?"
"...How dare you bring her into this... How dare... you use my actions... to justify her sadness... to justify her tragedy... to try and make sense of a broken and vulnerable woman... You are Pathetic, Seki... Pathetic..."
"...I suppose that answers that question..."
"I hope when... Not If... When this Killing Game finally crumbles... I hope you suffer in agony for as long as possible... As you watch your actions make you lose every single thing you might care about... As you write in pain only the dead could know..."
"..."
"..."
"...Thank you for your time Yume... Your Items will be delivered to the Harada's residence at some point in the future. As with the last two, I'll leave you with-"
"Yeah yeah, I get it... I'm not allowed to blab about the killing game... but you're a fucking idiot if you think that'll stop me... I have 3 allies on my side... 3 allies whos only reason for not trying to end me is our shared hatred of you people. We will stop the Killing Games... And I will make sure you all suffer..."
"..."
"See you around, Kuneyasu."
"Good fucking luck.... Yonekura..."

i've been inactive for a while and i probably haven't mentioned it before, but i'm a big Tetro Danganronpa Pink fan, and knowing that it's going to be ending in the next two weeks is literally destroying me so i thought i would give my final predictions for the series (season? technically?) before Tetro Friday officially begins. major spoilers, obviously lmao. if you haven't watched it yet, i highly recommend it! it's been such a journey and is legitimately one of the best fangans out there in my opinion. with that, here are my Tetro Pink Chapter 5 predictions!!!
Hayashi: so i'm kinda leaning more towards her surviving, tbh, which is hilarious since she's been having so many death flags LMAO. what can i say, i just don't want another girl to die (especially my favorite of all the girls, no less 😭😭). but on a more practical note, i think she, at the very least, is less likely to be a victim due to the reward she got. if she gets the sole vote in the trial, it would be weird to kill her off as this chapter's victim, because...then what? does the sole vote reward get passed to a random student? the runner-up of the cage game, which is Yanagi? is the reward nullified entirely, and they all just carry on as they would? it has the potential to be interesting, but i think all those possibilities are a bit unlikely. as for her being a killer...i *could* see it, but it would just feel weird. i know i shouldn't go and claim "this character would never do that!!1!", but Mai is someone who *has* killed before in her lifetime, if unintentionally, and though that person did honestly deserve it, she still harbors a sense of regret for doing it and has taken precautions to never have that happen again in her line of work. moreover, Mai is a (mostly) careful and resilient person. she's continuously been bearing the damage others would face so that they don't have to. her whole deal, since the very beginning, was about protecting people and trying to get out. of course, getting out is definitely the biggest motive of all for someone to kill, but even though she's been constantly putting herself in harm's way for everyone else's sake, i just don't feel like her story will conclude with her quadrupling down on her martyrdom. at least, if it does end that way, I'll be pretty disappointed :/
so yeah, my prediction for Hayashi: Survivor my confidence: 6/10
Wada: ohhh my precious boy. my second favorite. honestly i'm surprised my top 3 faves of the series have survived this long LMAO. but anyway, i think Wada has a lot of survivor potential. i feel like it would be the most fitting end for him to have some sort of resolution to his survivor's guilt. that maybe if he survives past the final trial, he'll make it his goal to try and find the families of each of the friends he lost and inform them of what happened. i don't know if there will be any sense of a happy ending in tetro, and maybe there was never meant to be, but if there's some kind of happier resolution to end it on, i think Wada deserves to live. of course, he is immensely scarred, emaciated, and traumatized, but i think even with all the people he lost, he'll never truly be lonely again. they changed his life immensely, and i think he would do everything he can to keep their memories alive and finally be able to live both for them, and himself. sure, Wada's an easy target as always for potential murder, but if he were to die in this chapter, i would honestly expect him to be a killer, because i can see more motive potential for that. but even then i don't know if that would be enough for him to actually go through with something like that, and even if he could, it's a whole other question of how he'd be able to.
my prediction for Wada: Survivor
my confidence: 7/10
Ojima: MY BOY!!!! MY #1 FAV!!!! i swear if all of my top 3 faves survive i will be ecstatic. very unlikely, BUT A GIRL CAN HOPE. unfortunately though, i don't know where i stand on Ojima's survivability. he's my absolute favorite and i want him to live so so so bad, but at the same time i don’t know if he has as much survivor potential as some of the others. if he survives, i would hope it's in a way where he is, at the end of the day, living for his own sake. he's been attached to Hiroaki at the hip the whole series, and aside from the fact that it feels more likely that they aren't going to make it out together, i think what's most important is how Ojima would be able to stand on his own without his connections to the other characters. would surviving lead to him making changes in his life, bringing him to finally begin his healing journey and go back to therapy? would he regress deeper into his dissociation and become a shell of his former self? i'll be honest, i worry so much about a bad future like that for him that i would rather he doesn't survive, at least so that he'll never have to lose the fight to his trauma 😭😭 Ojima's the one character who i just CANNOT have a sad ending for okay, either he survives and lives the best future he possibly can or he doesn’t survive at all!!! i will not have it any other way!!!!! but as for what his role would be if he doesn't survive, i'm not really sure. i could see him going either way, tbh. Ojima's definitely not someone who i think would be likely to kill under normal circumstances (he's made it this far, especially after so many of us were dooming that it was Ojimover all throughout the last few chapters), but i could see him doing it if he found out the cause for all the weird shit going on this chapter. but i feel like it would be more realistic for him to be a victim, because i also don't think he would want to put any of them in a situation where they'd have to find out who it was, and also end up leaving Hiroaki without his love-you bestie :(
My prediction for Ojima: Victim? Maybe?
my confidence: 5.5/10 (i'm not really sold as him being the victim, but i think he's just one of the more likely characters to die. i'm sorry baby boy i so desperately hope you live, i'm praying for you 😔🙏)
Hiroaki: i'll be real. i have no clue what's gonna happen to him. if Ojima dies, i think the possibility of Hiroaki having a happy ending is almost completely shot. he's been teetering on the edge for so long throughout the game, and came so close to taking his life (and would have, if it weren't for Ojima). with him gone, i don't know how Hiroaki will go on, but i imagine it'd be NOT FUCKING WELL. Ojima's been the only thing anchoring him, and at times the only person who actually has been looking out for him and caring for him. and with the most recent episode as of writing this, [Shaky Ground], he's lost all hope of going back to his normal life, or of anyone going back to a normal life. so truthfully, i think it's likely he's going to die. because if Ojima dies before him, i don't think he would want to make it out of the killing game alive anymore. as for being a victim or a killer, that's truly where i can't say for certain. i *want* to say victim, because good ol' reliable sentiment of "he'd never do that!!1!" to character i like, but i think there's been more possible foreshadowing to him killing instead, i.e. Yonekura originally betting he'd be the first person to kill, his whole mentality of "not caring" anymore, his hope for escape already having been done-in.....yeah, i think this guy might be cooked y'all 😭😭 he truly does deserve better, but the more i think about it, the more i'm believing he's not gonna survive
my prediction for Hiroaki: Killer
my confidence: 6/10
Tamba: oh Tamba. Tamba, Tamba, Tamba. you've gotten yourself into such a mess, babygirl. i love you dearly, but if only you hadn't become so paranoid. that being said, however, i think Tamba's pretty likely to survive, although not without bearing the heavy consequences — namely, her broken leg. since there are only two weeks of Tetro Pink left, which will likely consist of Week 1 investigation and Week 2 trial (or it might not be, you never know) there's literally no time for her leg to heal properly, so her gymnastics career is undoubtedly fucked. but because of such a major injury, i think it makes her less likely to die compared to some of the other characters, because killing her now would feel a bit too easy, and a bit lackluster since we were sort of given a fake out death with Hiroaki pushing her. and there's no way she's in any shape to kill somebody, girl won't even be able to STAND. idk how participating in the trial will go. will she get a chair to sit on like Kamimura did after he fainted? will she have to lean/be held by someone the entire time? is her leg so badly broken it has to be amputated??? i'm seriously praying for her, bc while i think she's gonna survive, whatever may happen to her from here on out probably won't be pretty 😥 i do hope that if she survives, she won't have to be stuck with her parents forever, who i'm sure would be more upset about her ruined career than having their daughter back safe and sound. i think people really undermine the abuse she's gone through, cause while it's not nearly as shocking and horrific as what some of the other characters had to go through, she still lives a pretty shitty life with parents who control every aspect of her life and have physically harmed her before. to be honest, it's no wonder why paranoia became such a big part of Tamba's character, because she's ALWAYS been ruled by fear. fear of what her parents might think of her, fear of losing her career and letting everyone she knows down, fear of being weak and easy to kill. many people may not like her, but Tamba, i love you, and i sure hope there's a good outcome for you 😔💖
my prediction for Tamba: Survivor
my confidence: 7/10
Hasegawa: i feel like out of everyone, i'm the most sure he's gonna survive. i can't really explain it, but i just feel like he will. i think surviving this will give his life a lot of new meaning. of course he's absolutely gonna be traumatized and bears very permanent scars from the experience, but it put him in a place where, despite being full of death and horror, he still found beauty. he met Kamimura, and even though he lost him, they both impacted each other so deeply, and he managed to help Kamimura want to live again. he may not have been nearly as close with anyone else as him, but he still made connections with other people that he rarely ever did, or even could, in his normal life. people still grew to care about him despite the situation, and i'm sure he knows that, and i'm sure he cares about them too. unless he's been the one masterminding all the weird shit happening in the chapter, which i mean, *is* possible, i don't see how he wouldn't survive, unless he pulls some REALLY big brain shit and kills, wins the trial, and escapes by himself.
my prediction for Hasegawa: Survivor
my confidence: 8/10
Yanagi: fellow Yanagi likers, we are SO cooked 😭😭 like it is genuinely so over for us. to me, personally, he's been giving the biggest death flags this chapter. Yanagi has earned him a place in my heart for being a guy who is always wholly, earnestly trying his best. he's been beaten down and brutalized both mentally and physically throughout the game, and while he deserves SOOO much better, i just don't think he's gonna make it 😔 i don't think i like the idea of him being a killer all that much, though. of course he's the biggest self-sacrificing white-knight martyr to ever exist and probably WOULD kill someone just to help the others (especially Mai) escape, i just don't want that to be the way it ends for him. like how i feel about Mai, i don’t want him to die doing the same thing he always has, believing the same things about himself that he always has, and in the end, not having much of a conclusive arc for his character. obviously i don't think tetro would be bad and awful if that does happen, i don't think tetro would ever be bad just because none of my predictions are what i want them to be. but that's just personally what i feel about Yanagi being the chapter 5 culprit. so, that being said, i think he's most likely going to be the victim, and i feel like his death would be a very big moment of truth, cause when it comes down to it, it would have to be *Mai* who solves his death. hopefully everyone else cooperates and helps with the investigation too, but it's really down to her to figure things out and be 100%, unmistakably sure who did it, or else she and all the other innocent students die, and she'll be executed knowing she failed Yanagi and wasn't able to bring his killer to justice. of course i don't want to make Yanagi's death all about Mai, because he's still his own character, but i think him being killed will have the biggest, most dramatic, most climactic impact on the story. i sure hope that if he's killed, it isn't too brutal or anything :( like maybe he'll be able to live the rest of his life with Mai just like he wants to. except the rest of his life just happens to be fairly short LMAO
my prediction for Yanagi: Victim
my confidence: 8/10
overall prediction:
Chapter 5 Victim: Yanagi Shigeki
Chapter 5 Blackened: Hiroaki Nakamigawa
let's all hold hands and hope for the best you guys. manifest Kan and Yonekura dying instead of anybody else 🙏🙏🙏
#whoops this got long lmao#anyways hiiii i'm a tetro fan teehee#i'm so scared you guys 😭😭#praying for my blue boys frfr 🤞🤞#tetro danganronpa pink#tetro danganronpa spoilers#dr tetro#tetro pink#tetro pink spoilers#tdrp#tdrp spoilers

put a veil and mourn for me - gojo satoru x reader
Genre/Tags: Angst, No Curses AU, one sided love
Warnings: Character death, Not proofread sorry :((
Word Count: 802 words
A/N: please don't come for me. will add satoru's pov soon. basically this is like a 2 part short fic :3c
also i wrote this during like,... a few days before my period saur... yeah my emotions were all over the place so i decided to put it all in a fic
。*゚+
For the longest time, you’ve been in love with Satoru. Ever since high school, the moment his bright eyes and warm smile met yours as he pointed to his seat back when you moved school, you knew you were hooked. He didn’t know you, yet he showed kindness and warmth, unlike some people you’ve met throughout your life.
Throughout high school, Satoru has been a constant in your life. He was there to be a shoulder to lean on when your other friends in the group weren’t available. He had shown you love and care without even asking for anything in return. Even until college, he made time and effort to hang out with you and the others, despite being in different universities.
But after an incident that took away his friend’s life, everything changed. No. His friend was alive. Suguru was alive. It’s just that he wasn’t the same as before. The woes of having his friend’s memories vanish into thin air had left him hanging, just like the very man himself. Satoru mourned for the loss of a life despite being that life being alive.
And for the most part, even after being one of his close friends, you couldn’t give him the peace of mind he wanted. He needed. You clawed your way from the pits of darkness just to give him the happiness he deserves, and yet you find that you can never make someone who mourns happy.
Even so, in the littlest of ways, you try your best to do the calmest to the most ridiculous things to do just to see at least a laugh from him. It’s small, but it’s enough.
Today was no better, but this time you opted to just watch the stars from the rooftop of your childhood home. Having been close to him since high school was enough to have him invite himself over to your place just to spend the night studying or playing games, eating chips and then passing out.
Tonight, like any other time during your teens, you snuck through the window and climbed up to the roof through the ledge on your window and the low hanging branch of a tree conveniently beside your bedroom window, making for an easy leverage.
“You know we should have brought, like…drinks. Maybe my dad’s wine.” You spoke in a hushed tone before making yourself comfortable – although it’s hard – on the roof.
“We’re both lightweight. What are you talking about?” Satoru snickers in reply. Amusement is very much evident in the tone of his voice.
“You’re right. But wine tastes good. The sweet ones, I mean. The dry ones, though, I hate those.” You eyed the constellations above, trying to look for one as you two playfully talked.
“Yeah, I like sweets,” Satoru mutters back.
For a moment, there was only peaceful silence. On the one hand, it’s good. On the other hand, it wasn’t. With silence and darkness going hand in hand, it’s only natural to give birth to negating thoughts, ebbing their sharp claws in your mind. Suddenly hit with an overwhelming feeling of sadness, your eyes stung from the onslaught of tears piercing the corners of your eyes.
“It’s so deep and scary.” You whisper, breath catching in your throat.
Satoru turns to look at you, curious. “What is?”
“The sky. When it’s dark.” You observed the stars twinkling and the planets that shined steadily. “Crazy how everything is truly dark. Like the sun is but an illusion to keep humans calm and comforted. But you go into space, and you’ll just be met with total darkness. There’s light…but nothing to keep you grounded. Everything is miles and lightyears away.”
“You, okay?” He asked, now concerned.
“Yeah. Just midnight thoughts.”
Another silence and another tear slip past your eyes. He hasn’t been talking much since everything that has happened. You didn’t know what to do anymore, you’re running out of options to save him from drowning.
In a pained whisper that you so badly wish he doesn’t take note of, the words are uttered, “It’s really beautiful.” You smile sadly at the starry sky. “I want to shine like them too.”
“Yeah...” Satoru mutters in reply. You look back at him, there’s that unreadable expression on his face once more. The only thing recognizable was the distant look in his eyes. Almost like regret.
You avert your gaze from him once more, this time settling to close your eyes instead of welcoming a new kind of darkness, one devoid of light.
“It’s peaceful.” You hear him muttering and the shuffling of his clothes that made it sound like he was turning on his side.
You let silence override your senses, the only symphony in the night being the sound of breathing and the cacophony of the crickets’ chorus.

This is about to be SO self indulgent but 🤫
Name: Kelly. Nickname: Kells. Pet names: sweetheart, baby. Female. Brown hair, hazel eyes. Always rosy cheeks.
Scenario: You’re best friends with Ruffilo, you call him to pick you up. It’s your birthday, and you’re at a bar with your girlfriends. Noah, who you’re also close with via Nick, answers Nick’s phone instead, comes to pick you up. You’re not drunk, at most you’re a little tipsy, but somehow you start rambling about how you’ve always wanted to try the birthday tradition of an orgasm for every year you’ve been alive. (You’re lucky if you go more than 10.) “Is that what you want? Because I didn’t get you a present.” Cue filthy sex and yes, Noah being a munch. More of a friends with benefits type vibe, no confessed feelings. Still affectionate though, he obviously cares about you and wants to make you feel good. Aftercare and cuddles!!!! Lots of praise!!!! But also he has such a filthy mouth akdkksjd
This is filthy I KNOW forgive me 😭 hank you!!!!!!
Let's switch it up, shall we? This one's from Noah's perspective.
After Writing Notes: No plot. No development. Just...orgasms. I hope you enjoy!
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Oral (fem rec), dirty talk, PnV, a word that makes me cringe to say, let alone write....
Anything More Than Human
If these motherfuckers didn't shut up soon, I was going to lose my entire fucking mind. All I wanted, our first day back from tour, was to sit in my room, relax, and play fucking Overwatch. That was unbearably difficult to do when all of my dickhead brothers decided today was the best day to throw a God damn party, celebrating the end of the tour. You would think that, given I was the owner of the house, that they’d respect my want for space.
It didn’t help at all that I hadn’t told them they couldn’t, but that was just my overwhelming need to please – which Jolly gave me shit for constantly. So what the fuck?!
I had tried to focus, keeping music blasting through my headset, and focusing on my computer screen. However, the music they played downstairs was shaking the walls of the house, making it nearly impossible to ignore. After the sixth game that I had fucked off from lack of concentration, I finally got so agitated that I threw my headset at my keyboard, cursing out of frustration. It was maddening, and truly, giving me a migraine.
Giving up hope of any type of relief, I stood up, pulling a shirt over my head, and took a deep breath before exiting my room. I didn’t want to take my irritation out on the guys, or any of the many guests they had invited over. It wasn’t their faults. They just needed to blow off some steam. We just all had different ways of doing that.
Heading downstairs, eyes scanning the living room, I took note of the thick cloud of smoke hanging in the air. I could smell the pot before I saw it, but it still made my jaw tick. I just had that couch cleaned.
Straying directly into the kitchen, I huffed while pulling the fridge open, ignoring the lingering bodies around the countertop with drinks in their hands. I was certain they had noticed me, but I couldn’t even begin to care less. Pulling a water from the shelf, I heard the back door sliding open.
“Hey! I didn’t expect you to come down all night!” Folio’s voice was thick with alcohol, words slurring together slightly.
I turned around to face him. “Yeah, well, I couldn’t focus on my game.”
He nodded, bumping my shoulder with his own. “Sorry man. You should come outside. Jolly got the fire pit going, and there’s at least six girls hanging around asking about you.”
I rolled my eyes. “Nah man, I’m going to watch a movie or something.”
“Ah c’mon, Noah. We just got home! We should be having fun!”
I swallowed a large gulp of water, wiping my lips off with the back of my hand. “That is fun to me, man.”
He shook his head. “How long has it been?”
I knew what he was asking, but playing dumb was too easy. “Since…?”
The shrill sound of a phone ringing pulled my attention from him momentarily, and I noticed an iPhone on the other side of the counter lit up.
“Since you got laid?”
I snorted. “Not that long. Like, three months?”
It was Folio’s turn to let his eyes roll back. “You talking about that thing with Moriah? Dude, that doesn’t fucking count.”
Before the ringing could have stopped for a full thirty seconds, it started again. “Sure it did!”
“Oh please, you didn’t even fuck her!”
Chuckling, I shoved him. “Head counts, dude.”
“Not unless you’re the one getting it, it doesn’t.” Folio pointed at me as if he had made the most valid point.
I scoffed. “Says you, fetus.”
He cracked up at this. Before he could say more, both of us were distracted by the phone ringing again.
“Whose fucking phone is ringing?” I scanned around the room, searching for the owner of the cell that was nearly exploding.
“Uh, I think that’s Nick’s?”
I snatched it off the counter, seeing the name flashing.
It was Kelly. That was odd. She should be here, I would think?
Making my way out the back door where Nick was, I took note of the girl in his lap, currently pressing her breasts so far in his face, he was practically inside of her bra. I walked up behind him, bumping his shoulder with my hand.
“Hey, bro. Kelly’s blowing you up.”
Nick just cocked his head up to look at me. “I’m kind of in the middle of something here?”
I just smacked him harder. “Dude, she’s calling back to back, it’s probably important.” I looked at the screen as it darkened, and looked back to Nick. “Why isn’t she here?”
He was back to his business between the unnamed girls’ tits when he answered. “She went out with Savannah and Erica for her birthday.”
His phone lit up again, her name flashing on the screen. “Are you going to answer it?”
He dismissed me. “I’ll call her back.”
Sighing hard, I stepped away, further into the backyard where the music wasn’t blaring so loudly. I swiped the call open, and put it up to my left ear, plugging my right with a finger.
“Hello?”
“Nick?!” Her voice was borderline frantic.
“It’s Noah. Nick’s, uh,” I chanced a glance back at him, seeing he was lip-locked with the blonde. “he’s busy. What’s up, dude?”
“I need a ride. Bad.” She sounded wrecked.
“What’s wrong, Kells? Where are you?”
“I’m at Shaughnessy’s on 22nd. I need to go home.”
My legs began carrying me toward the house. “Okay, stay there. I’ll be there in ten minutes, alright?”
“Thank you, Noah. I’ll be outside.”
-
The bar was overflowing with patrons. Men and clearly drunk girls were littering the sidewalk around the building. My eyes scanned for Kelly, but couldn’t see her. It wasn’t until I rounded the corner that I could see her deep brown hair from behind a bulky guy, towering over her. Kelly wasn’t the shortest girl around, but this guy was easily as tall as I was. The look on her face told me she was not happy to be there.
Finding a space on the street, I pulled in, ignoring the meter, and stepped out of my car.
“I’m telling you, honey, my place is like a five-minute walk. We can go there, have something to eat. I’ll take you home later.”
Her eyes held something strongly resembling fear, and her body language was closed off and uncomfortable.
That is, until she saw me. Her hazel stare met mine, and she knew she was finally getting out of this.
“Hey!” The guy turned around, red-rimmed eyes staring directly at me. “Time to go.” I addressed Kelly directly, and she slipped quickly from behind the dickhead, who looked bewildered. I held a hand out, which she took graciously.
“What the fuck?” He stared at us as I began pulling her back toward the street. “You never said you had a boyfriend!”
“Yeah, well, live and learn, asshole!” I hollered back, not giving him a second look. My fingers interlaced with hers, leading her to the passenger door of my Mazda 3, and tucked her into the car safely. Before I closed the door, I bent down, looking right at her.
“You good, sweetheart?”
She only nodded in response.
I rounded the vehicle and took my seat quickly, wasting no time pulling away from the curb. Kelly lived a good thirty minutes away, and by the look on her face, I could tell I needed to cut that back in any way I could.
Shifting into first gear, I pulled forward and we were gone, leaving the bar and it's problems behind us.
"What happened to your friends, Kells?" It occurred to me that I may have just left two more girls stranded at a crowded bar in downtown Los Angeles...
"They fucking left me!" Her words exploded out of her, which took me back. Kelly was typically calm, cool, and controlled. She rarely had outbursts of any kind.
She had definitely been drinking, however.
"Those fucking bitches! They met up with some of their guys friends that I didn't even know would be there! Ended up ditching me because I didn't want to go with them to a club." Her arms folded over her chest, a visible pout on her lips.
Kelly was adorable when she was angry, and I couldn't help but feel my chest swell.
We had known each other for six - no, seven years now, and had what one might call a semi-close relationship? Nick introduced me to her after our first headlining tour, when we passed through West Virginia, as his best friend. Their Moms were best friends growing up, so, naturally, they grew up together from near birth.
Kelly's a warm human being, and brings a serious sense of perspective and calm to the group of absolute imbeciles the guys and I tend to be. Nick and Kelly's relationship was reminiscent of siblings, and we had all grown to view her as a member of our little family. She joined us on most of our tours these days, and we moved her to Los Angeles two years ago. It was easier for her to help out with managing schedules, merch drops, and the other random things she handled for us when we were overly stressed out.
Due to her integral part of our family, she was off-limits at all times. Folio took that one the hardest, given they were the same age, and something about her drew him in. We all had the hard rules - no dating Kelly. No fucking Kelly. No making passes at Kelly. Mild flirting was as far as it ever got between her and I, and even then, it was usually in our rare moments of privacy, like now.
Did I find her attractive? Sure. Everyone did. How could you not? She was fit, and happy to show it - nearly always wearing shorts or crop tops that made it clear she worked out for a good time. Her brown hair was always hung loose, wisping around her face and messy; natural. She wore very little makeup, so her eyes were always free to shine, as they should.
My favorite thing about her, though? She had this constant natural blush over her. Her cheeks always had a tinge of pink to them, making her just look like a glow in a darkened room. A bright, fae-like creature.
It was hard to describe, but it was so fucking cute.
Typically, that's all I usually thought of Kelly; cute. Sweet. Adorable. Funny. Laid-back. Easy to talk to.
But today, on her birthday?
She was clearly aiming to turn some heads, as she was wearing short black jean shorts, a black tank top that was ripped in the center, showing just enough cleavage to make a man stare. Her hair was tightly curled, giving it volume that it normally didn't possess. Her eyes were made-up more than normal, sharp black eyeliner giving her eyes a cat-like effect. Her lipstick was black as well, making her teeth shine brightly behind it.
She looked...fucking hot.
Thinking of her outfit brought me back to the current conversation.
"How much have you had to drink?"
She shrugged then, her eyes taking on a guilty look. "Only like...two long island iced teas?"
This made me crack a smile. "That's usually the limit on those, you know."
She sheepishly grinned, her blush spreading. "Yeah, that's what the bartender told me when I tried to order another."
"Are you drunk?"
She shook her head. "I was, but fucking Josh...or Jared? I don't remember his name. He fucking killed my buzz mostly, so now I just feel kind of tired."
We were turning through the hills of the valley, the streets pitch black around us. "I'm sorry to hear that." I pursed my lips. "I'm also sorry that I forgot today was your birthday."
She waved a hand at me, dismissing my apology. "You're the worst with dates, Noah. I don't mind."
I scoffed, feigning offense. "I am not!"
This made her all-out laugh. "Noah, if your birthday wasn't on Halloween, you'd forget it every year."
Opening my mouth to speak, I stopped. Because...where was the lie?
"Well, still." I cleared my throat. "I feel bad, because I didn't get you a gift."
Her face was turned to the window. "No worries, hon. It's really no biggie."
Kelly's voice was sad and small, then. "I'll still get you something!" This made her turn her face, smiling somberly at me. "What do you want? Anything you want."
Her face scrunched up, then. The corner of her lip was turned up in a small smirk, and she shook her head.
"Nothin'. Don't worry about getting me anything."
I caught this out of the corner of my eye. "Nope, I saw that. What is it? What do you want?"
I wasn't letting this go.
"Noah, you can't get me what I want, so I will just count this ride home as my gift. Trust me, it means a lot."
Shaking my head fervently, I turned my car onto the freeway. "Nuh-uh, not happening. I'm sure I can get it somewhere, whatever it is."
This made her cackle. "It's not a thing."
Pursing my lips, I looked at her from under a raised brow. "Is it a puppy?"
Still bursting with laughter, she waved a hand at me. "No. I don't need a puppy."
"Kitty?"
"No."
"Then what is it?" I was getting frustrated. What could she possibly want? An island?!
She dropped her face in her hands. "Ugh, maybe I am still buzzed."
"Spit it out, Kells!"
"I want to get laid, okay?!" Her voice was shrill, clearly laced with embarrassment. Some kind of flood gate had unleashed, and I was too stunned to do anything about it.
"I wanted to meet someone, someone decent, and have stupid, gross, un-fucking-believable sex! I wanted to try that thing where you have an orgasm for every year? Twenty-seven is crazy, but fuck, I never ask for fucking anything! I just wanted to be fucked so hard I slept like a rock afterward and could get some of this pent-up stress out!"
The car was silent for a solid minute and a half after she finished speaking. The longer the air lingered without sound, I could see her slowly sinking further down into her seat - obviously mortified at her omission.
I finally decided to take a deep breath, letting out a small cough to disrupt the tension.
"Well," I exited the highway, now only minutes from her apartment. "then I guess it's going to be a long night, eh?"
I watched the shock strike over her features. "What?!"
Finally building the confidence I needed, I chanced a glance over at her while we sat at a red light. "I mean, I said anything you wanted, didn't I?"
She began waving her hands between us. "Oh no. No, no, no. We are not doing that."
"No? I thought you said a decent guy? Am I not?"
Her face was absolutely flabbergasted, and I felt my pants getting tighter just thinking about it.
"Of course you are, Noah. Probably the most decent guy I know. But, there's rules in place for a reason..."
"How do you know about the rules?"
She smirked then, rolling her eyes. "Folio told me."
Sucking my teeth, my vehicle started moving again, my hand gripping the shifter. "Well, rules are meant to be broken, right?"
"Noah..." Her eyes were bulging. "You can't just sleep with me because I'm desperate. That's just sad."
"Excuse me?" We were pulled into her complex now, my car idling in the parking space facing her building. "What did you say?"
Her head hung, then. She was still embarrassed, but now she looked depressed as well.
"I know you and I aren't like that. I don't want you suffering through something like that with me, just because I'm hard up."
Scoffing loudly, I turned my body to look at her, a finger lifting to pull her chin up so she could look at me. "Baby," Her eyes finally met mine. "make no mistake at all, I would've fucked you years ago, had I been allowed."
There's that blush again. I let my finger fall, tracing down her chest as it did, catching the rips in her shirt.
"Maybe you are hard up." I let my lids fall half-closed, admiring that her breasts bounced slowly when her breathing was erratic like this. "Maybe I am too." I looked back up at her, letting my teeth pull at the skin of my bottom lip. "Maybe it was for the best that I picked up the phone, and not Nick?"
Her lips were parted, and I could tell she was entranced.
Oh, this was going to be fun.
-
Not to sound self-absorbed, but I can be very persuasive. One of my best, and most redeeming qualities is definitely the art of charm. In all fairness, it didn't take very long to convince Kelly that her needs were due to be met, but I had melted her like butter in seconds after we entered her apartment. Clothes flew quickly, hands grabbing everywhere, and nervous giggles escaping the both of us when the harsh reality would sink in of exactly what we were doing.
I, of course, checked to ensure she was sober enough to enjoy our fun responsibly, and asked her to drink some water before we got started. I wanted her to remember this birthday. I also planned to dehydrate the hell out of her.
That is how I found myself buried between her bare thighs, her ass perched comfortably on her dining room table, tits jumping as her hips bucked against my face. My tongue was drawing some of the most lovely sounds out of her. Her head had fallen back, curls cascading down her back, eyes closed in absolute pleasure.
My index and middle finger worked inside of her, walls clenching around me as her first orgasm hit her, making her curse my name multiple times.
After her legs had calmed their shaking, I stood in front of her, my shirt discarded on the floor, and assessed her state. She looked absolutely blissed out, her eyes half-masked, and a lazy grin painting her face.
"Wow." Was all she managed. Her black lipstick had smeared slightly, and tears were pulling her eyeliner down her cheeks.
"One down." I breathed out, wiping my chin with the back of my hand.
Her back fell back on the table, legs dangling off of the edge. "Noah," She chuckled. "we don't have to do what I had said. That was me being insane."
She wasn't looking at me anymore, so she completely missed me slipping my wallet from my pocket, pulling out the condom, and sheathing it over my erection, stroking it over.
"No?" My hands grabbed her hips, snatching her forward so she was halfway off of the table. Her head snapped up to look at me, startled. "Cause I was planning to see how far we'd get."
Nudging her entrance, I saw her eyes blow wide, mouth hanging open.
"Unless you don't want to?" I stilled, checking her face for protest.
She said nothing, teeth catching her bottom lip. I dared to press in, and her eyes fluttered closed again, head falling back with a thud on the table.
"Holy fuck." It came out as a prayer off of her lips, and I smiled, satisfied at the tight squeeze of her around me. I pressed all the way in to the hilt, my own body spasming from the sensation.
"Jesus Christ, baby. I had no idea you could take cock this fucking good."
I watched her chest rise and fall, nipples perk and begging for attention. I reached a hand up, rolling one between my fingers.
"So fucking beautiful, sweetheart."
Her pussy clenched down around me as I spoke to her, and I raised an eyebrow. "Oh?" She glanced at me, looking sheepish again. "You like that, baby? Like hearing how much of a good little slut you are?"
Kelly let out the softest moan I had ever heard, her body flooding at the same time. My hips started snapping rhythmically, keeping an even pace.
I leaned down, letting my mouth close around her nipple, tongue circling it and teeth nipping it.
"You pictured this before, haven't you?" I let my lips trail up to her neck, breathing into her skin. "Me pounding into you? Fucking you until there's nothing left?"
She was almost catatonic at the pleasure she was experiencing, and I couldn't deny how close I was getting, sliding in and out of her wet lips. I felt myself beginning to tighten, and the coil in my belly threatening to snap. She had to come again, that was the entire goal.
Standing straight, my hand reached for her clit, thumb circling it expertly. That's when the real screaming began.
"That's it, baby. Show me how much you love it. Let everyone hear it."
Her hips shook, trying desperately to meet my thrusts while I touched her.
She tightened again, and I knew she had finished. Fortunately, my own orgasm came rolling over me at the same time.
I fucked her through the waves of euphoria, sliding her back on the table so she wouldn't fall.
It took me a moment to gather my breathing before I was able to slide the condom off and dispose of it in the garbage. I noticed she had lifted herself off of the table, standing in front of it and gathering her melted thoughts, working on her breathing.
Coming up behind her, I circled her waist, moving hair off of her neck, and leaned into her. "Hey," My voice was a whisper. She hummed at me in return. "you okay?"
She nodded, leaning her had back on my chest. "More than okay."
Grinning, I nuzzled my nose into her neck behind her ear. "Let's get you in a shower."
I led her to the bathroom, starting the water and waiting for it to warm up. She stood, scrutinizing her face in the mirror.
"I look like hell, dude." Was all she managed to say. This made me snicker.
"You look like you just got fucking railed."
This made her burst in laughter, holding onto the counter for support. "I mean...you're not wrong." She pointed a finger at me.
Opening the curtain, I motioned for her to get into the water, and I followed suit. She let her head sit under the spray, saturating her dark hair. I leaned against the tile wall, giving her space. Kelly went to work washing her face, scrubbing the makeup off, leaving only a trace of a shadow underneath from her mascara.
She then washed her hair, conditioning, and ran her loofah over her body. I took note of how she tenderly cleaned herself between her legs, likely due to sensitivity. Was I proud? One-hundred percent.
I waited until she was all rinsed and relaxed, before I stepped behind her, running my palm down her back, tracing the scattered tattoos she had. Her body leaned into my touch, and I used the opportunity to pull her into me, leaning her against me. I found this to be most comfortable for her, given the height difference between us.
I brought myself close to her ear, my voice low. "So, I've gotten two out of you, right?"
I caught her smile from the corner of my eye. "Three."
"Ah," I licked the side of her neck softly. "well, I've still got a lot of ground to cover."
She didn't respond, so I let my hand trail down her stomach, reaching her swollen lips, spreading them with my fingers.
"Also," I didn't stop my work, slipping a finger in as gently as possible to not overstimulate her. "I didn't know you had a praise kink."
Letting out a breathless laugh, she pressed her weight into me, allowing me full access. "There's a lot I don't tell you."
"That's so sexy, baby." My finger massaged her sweet spot, pulling pants out of her with each stroke. "Knowing you like to hear how good you are. How beautiful," I quickened the pace. "how amazing," I pressed in further, making her groan. "and fucking tight."
"Ugh, Noah. That feels so amazing." She had a hand gripping the back of my neck, fingernails digging into the skin.
"You going to come for me, just like this, sweetheart? Make it this easy for me?" My hand sped up, her voice high-pitched and desperate for more.
"Noah, don't stop. Please. That's so fucking good."
"Going to come all over me, baby? Come on, girl. You can do it. I've got you." My arm pulled her waist closer to me, taking on her body weight so she could focus.
"Fuck, I'm coming, fuck..."
I felt the spray of her release on my hand, and I slipped my fingers out, pressing on her clit, forcing a scream from somewhere deep in her chest.
"God damn, baby. Did you just squirt for me? Didn't know you could do that." Amazed, I palmed her pussy, massaging it through the aftershocks of her orgasm.
"Ha, me neither." She seemed just as surprised as me.
"Mm," I left a soft slap over her clit, making her jump. "well, let's see if we can do it again."
Without warning, I pulled her down, bringing us down into the tub, the spray of the shower still hitting us, turning colder as the seconds passed. She laid on my body, my re-hardened cock pressing up into her back. Her hands braced on my knees, and I used a hand to open her legs, running the tips of my fingers through her slick folds. Soft whimpering noises were falling out of her; her body completely turning over to me for whatever I had planned for her.
Mercilessly, I penetrated her with two fingers, my other hand gripping her hair at the base of her skull so I could wrench her neck to the side, biting down on the soft skin.
"You've got this, baby girl. Give me another, you can do it."
Kelly's fingertips were bruising my legs where she gripped, eyes rolling back violently while her back arched. She was hitting an edge, so I pulled my hand out suddenly, and circled the hood of her clit, eliciting a sickening, guttural sound out of her.
"N-Noah..." Fighting for breath, she writhed under me. "I...need to..."
"You don't need anything, baby. Nothing but me." I whispered directly in her ear.
Her hips bucked up, climax hitting her, and I could feel her pulse through my fingers, still pressing on her pussy.
"Noah, I can't take anymore. I really can't." She was begging for reprieve, and was lucky I was feeling generous.
Peppering her shoulder and arm with soft kisses, I ran my hands up her sides. "No problem, baby. Let's go get comfortable."
After we both redressed, me back into my original clothes, her into her pajamas, we found a comfortable spot on her couch. I sat, legs apart, pulled her down between them, tucking her comfortably against my chest. She curled into me, exhausted and buzzing from our evening together. The effects of the alcohol had long worn off.
"You doing okay, Kells?"
She mumbled into my chest, already sounding half-gone. "Mhm." She yawned, a small sound. "Sleepy."
"Why don't we get you in bed?" I smirked, rubbing circles into her back. "Unless you want more?"
I felt her shiver underneath me. "I can't. I might have a stroke if I have another orgasm."
This made me snicker, pulling her head back into me.
"This is a secret?"
She didn't audibly respond, just pulled back and looked at me, a pleading look on her face.
I wasn't bothered by that, per se. Would I like to brag to my boys a little about it? Sure. Did I get the slightest heaviness at the idea of her not wanting anyone to know what we did? Maybe.
But, at the end of the day, I respected her enough to know that keeping this friendship meant much more to her than five orgasms.
Turning my mouth upward, I ran a thumb over her cheek, meeting her lips that I managed to keep away from the entire night.
Kissing felt like...too much?
"My lips are sealed, sweetheart."
Satisfied with that, she cuddled back into me, and it took no time at all before I heard the soft snores of her slumber. Once I was sure she was down deep enough, I lifted her from the couch, careful to keep her head steady against me, and trekked into her bedroom.
Setting her gently down, I pulled the covers over her, and took one last look. Her face was so peaceful. So comfortable.
Some kind of something sparked inside me, but it didn't matter. It was time to go.
Locking her doorknob on the way out, I took the steps two at a time on the way down, yawning while I climbed into my car.
My phone buzzed in the console, and that was when I realized I had left it there in my haste. Nick's face flashed on the screen, and I swiped the call open.
"Hey dude, what's up?"
"Did you pick up Kelly?"
I couldn't stop the grin that spread, but he couldn't see that. "I did."
A hard sigh of relief came through the receiver. "Thank fuck, dude. I saw her texts just now. You good, man? It's been hours."
Starting my car, I let the call switch to my Bluetooth as I backed out of the space. "Yep, all good here."
Nick's voice was skeptical. "Where are you?"
"Headed home. Just wanted to make sure she got to bed okay. She had been drinking."
"Ah, okay. She's okay?"
My teeth shined, and my eyes stared back at me with a dark, beaming gaze in the rearview mirror.
"Oh, yeah. She's just fine."
