i know they underutilized the frankenstein aspect in the movie but it really does feel like the creature was perfectly created for lisa regardless. from what we saw, he spent his whole life lonely; dead parents, isolating social life, failed romantic prospects, the whole shebang, but he never gets to do anything about it because he dies, suddenly and unstoppably. until he’s suddenly alive again and the whole world is different but there’s this girl who tended to his grave when nobody else would have given him that respect, who’s experiencing the same things he did who actually has the chance to get back at the people who didn’t care for her, one tiny bit of familiarity to him… of course he’s going to kill for her just to see her happy.

You know, I think my favorite thing about Gale's whole "watching you in battle makes me horny" scene is like. He's not wrong. A brush with danger does in fact increase one's desire for "other forms of stimulation". Studies have shown that being in situations that cause a rush of adrenaline, be that going on a roller coaster, seeing a scary movie, walking across a swinging suspension bridge, or something else, increase feelings of attraction. It's literally a Known Thing that adventurous stuff is great to do on a date because it will most likely make you more into each other.

Idk, I just love that his come-on is not only extremely nerdy, but also scientifically accurate. Feels correct and I'm glad they did it lol

Y'ALL I think, when Miri said "squeez in closer" she was referring exclusively to Rei and Kazuki to get closer to each other. Previously both of them were on either side of Miri in family photos. Kazuki said "It's fine like this, right?" He said it because they have been taking family pictures like that all the time. This time Miri wanted the two of them to get closer to each other. And that's why she reminded that they're a family. She meant it as in "We're all a family, so yout two shouldn't be hesitant about being close to each other."

And I think the "Family?" was Referring to Kazuki and Rei's relationship. Because Miri only looked satisfied when Kazuki held Rei. Then she took the picture. Oh my god How did I not realize this? She was being a wingman for her dads on the behalf of the fans!

i’m sorry i literally can’t get over buck’s coming out scene like there was an….ENERGY about it that i cannot place within what they are ACTUALLY talking about. like buck says “it was a date,” and eddie’s like “what” and buck repeats himself. and then eddie needs to clarify again by being like “so you two were…” not to clarify that buck likes guys or ask him how he identifies or something but to have him say THREE TIMES that he was on a date with another man.

and don’t even get me started about how weird it is the way he looks when he says “well you know what i think. you should call him.”

something something trent hears the voice of an angel absolutely belting the lyrics to Since U Been Gone (kelly clarkson) in the communal showers and is immediately enamoured by the power their pipes command, so he (casually and totally not creepily) waits outside of the stall, leaning against the sinks with his arms crossed, to see who the owner of such heavenly vocals is only to be taken aback when cody- 5'3 scrawny weirdo extraordinaire- leaves the stall, catches sight of trent looming over him like his high school bullies, realises his one-man-concert was overheard and subsequently does his best imitation of a radioactive tomato with how red his face flushes from embarrassment.

trent's even more taken aback when, instead of acknowledging him or even awkwardly absconding from the situation before he could be confronted ,cody makes a noise reminiscent of a kettle's whistle and goes to hide back in the stall, only to slip over on the wet floor and smash his head against the wall.

something I really like about p3p compared to p5 is the extra bits of narration. I don't know if it's because the game doesn't have scenes with animated models or if regular p3 is like that, too, since I haven't played it. But like in Junpei's rank 10, when he's talking about going to see his dad, you get an extra text box that says 'Junpei's hands are trembling.' and in Shinji's rank 10 you get a few of them, one saying he toys with the pocket watch and one saying he looks down at his feet for a long time. Idk. They're nice. In p5, they use pretty much only the talking sprites and the character model animations to show emotion but things like trembling hands or staring at their feet are little things that probably wouldn't be animated but that add a lot to a scene I think.

kinda wild to me that one of the most compelling aspects of both Chuuya and Kunikida's characters to me, that I never really see talked about, is how they're heavily set on a doomed crash course towards complete and utter destruction, and how I am so, so worried for them both.....
