Here’s some positivity for introjects who are connected to their source!
There’s no one true or correct way to be an introject - introjects come in all shapes and sizes, and may have a wide variety of ways in which they view their source! Whether a factive, fictive, faitive, objective, conceptive, songtive, or something else, it’s okay for introjects of all sorts to like their source of feel connected to it. If you’re an introject who is connected to your source, this post is for you!
❤️ Shoutout to introjects who identify with their source’s name, gender, pronouns, sexuality, or other identities!
🧡 Shoutout to introjects who kin their sources!
💛 Shoutout to introjects who identify with their source despite having never directly seen or interacted with it!
💚 Shoutout to introjects whose source is their special interest, hyperfixation, or one of their favorite things!
💙 Shoutout to introjects who roleplay or otherwise engage with the world as their source!
💜 Shoutout to introjects who are source divergent or who don’t identify much with their source, but are still deeply connected to it!
❤️ Shoutout to introjects who like being referred to as their source!
🧡 Shoutout to introjects who are tired of their relationship to their source being policed or dictated by others!
💛 Shoutout to introjects who distanced or disconnected from their source, only to reconnect with it later on!
💚 Shoutout to introjects who often feel ostracized or left out of plural spaces because of how they view their source!
💙 Shoutout to introjects whose relationships to their source are intricate, nuanced, or complex!
💜 Shoutout to introjects who go through phases or waves of feeling more or less connected to their source!
Introjects may not literally be their source, but that doesn’t mean they are morally obligated to abandon connections to their source altogether! Introjects can and often do have a wide range of opinions on or relationships to their sources! It’s okay for introjects to love their source or feel strongly connected to it. You’re still just as valid and cherished as an introject, a member of your system, and a member of the plural community just the way you are!
We hope every source-connected introject who sees this can have a lovely day today. Please treat yourself with the kindness and gentleness you deserve, and don’t judge yourself too harshly for how you view your source! Rest assured, you will always be welcome in our spaces without the expectation to change. Thanks so much for reading, and take care!

I just got kicked from a server for existing lmao

"Our goal is to make each and every system feel welcomed"
Here's what went down :)
I joined and said "hey there" I proxied and engaged in the beginnings of a little conversation with someone
Someone else responds to my message and asks if I am a factive on insert person
I explain that im technically a faitive, explain to someone who was confused what a faitive is. I clarify my connection to source and don't get a response from the person who was asked.
My boyfriend has a bot on discord as well and I like for him the be able to use it so I clarify that there's another one of us and I need to know if that's not okay. After a little, someone responds "Yes, get help." And I'm BANNED
IN A SERVER FOR TRUAMAGENIC SYSTEMS ONLY LMFAO THIS IS THE TRUAMA RESPONCE
They did not have a rule against problematic factives and they did have a rule saying not to hate and judge people on their source. Here's what they said after I was banned

I censored my name, sorry.

Reminisic ~ A gender connected to memory
Reminisic is a neutral gender we coined that's connected or tied to memories, and ones gender being closely tied to that memory. These memories can be positive or negative and have any emotion tied to them. Some examples~
Memories from this life or a past life
False memories (ie from delusions, paranoia, etc)
Memories from dreams
Exo memories or source memories (for fictives/factives/faitives)
Tumblr media
Flag breakdown
(ignore if you don't care about the flag meaning) ~
The top half with the purples is representative of heavier memories that may not have a positive context, or memories that feel deep or serene.
The bottom half represents more lighthearted, softer, and happier memories.
The light shades in the middle of the flag represent memories that may overlap with feelings of joy and sadness, and all the little in-betweens.
There's many stripes because memories come in so many shapes and sizes, and come in different clarities.
Alternative flags are welcomed and encouraged, especially if you don't identify with this one! If you do make another flag, bring it to our attention, we'd love to see!
Pronouns ~ can be anything, and you can have any pronouns and still identify with Reminisic. Although we suggest pronouns related to whatever memory/memories that you identify with.

☆ — BROUGHT ME UP TOUGH, BUT I WAS A GENTLE HUMAN
Hey hey! Name’s Valentín. I’m one of the people who runs this blog, and I’m one of the primary hosts of this system.
I tend to be the artist behind most of our drawings, and the few times we’ve posted writing- well, that was probably me as well.
Finally decided to do an intro, I guess, hah. Not exactly what all to put here, if I’m being honest.
I’m a multi-sourced faitive of Quackity. My sources are DSMP, Karmaland, QSMP, and an au/fanfic we’ve been developing for a couple years, obviously, alongside being a factive. Ironically, I’m the least connected to being a factive, even though I formed in 2018 initially as just a factive.
I go exclusively by Valentín. Don’t call me Quackity, or anything else, unless we’re friends and have nicknames. Calling me Val is fine though. 👍
If you were wondering, my pronouns are it/vamp/maw/he/artery/luck/stock/bond/claw. Sometimes I cycle through pronouns, so it/vamp/maw/he is always a safe route. I’m transneumasc/nonbinary/alexigender + some xenogenders, and I choose not to label my orientation.
Fun fact! I’m a genetically altered avian to be a duck and a lammergeier. I’m also a turned vampire. Another fun fact, I’m a subsystem, aka a system within a system. I was actually a system in source, but didn’t figure that out until fairly recently.
To put it shortly, uh. All the Quackity fanart we’ve posted (and probably ever will post) is of me. I’ve got a few posts, and since I love drawing myself so much, don’t be surprised if you see more in the future. Here’s some that you’ve probably seen if you aren’t new to my blog.
[x] . [x] . + some unfinished wips I won’t bother linking to, lmao.
I used to tag my things with #valentín talks, but I’ve slipped out of doing that. Might resume doing that, but idk. Shrugs.
Anywho, if you have any questions, go ahead. Literally feel free to ask anything. I like talking. Don’t be surprised if I go on little exomemory rambles every now and then. I’m pretty sure my brother, Jaiden, already posted one about Baghera, him, and I, lmao.
This is getting really long. Have some doodles of myself as a treat

things to do to (re)connect with your source!
this post is meant for introjects (fictives, factives, faitives, fuzztives, etc), kinnies, D/As, and other people who feel connected to something or someone in any way, shape or form! this excludes factkin.
shout out to @hyperionsceo for helping me w this!! dm me if you want me to add anything else to this post ^_^
if you made anything in your timeline - whether it be a painting, a scrapbook, notes, etc - try to recreate it to the best of your ability!
write about your memories, bad AND good! it can help you properly process them!
wear outfits you would’ve worn in your timeline! doesn’t matter if you actually wore them or not, what matters is that you’re dressing how you would’ve! if you have the money, you can also buy some clothes you wore in your timeline!
find little trinkets that remind you of your timeline!
if you can find any that fit, soundscapes are SO good! if you let your mind wander you can feel like you’re back in there ^_^ here’s one with a waterfall as an example!
playlists with music that you (would’ve) listen(ed) to and/or fit you can also really help!
if there’s any and you’re comfortable with it, read fics of your source!

Fictives without source memories are still fictives.
Factives without source memories are still factives.
Faitives without source memories are still faitives.
If you have no memories ,fragmented or blurry/unclear memories, or only have memories from one of your sources you are still a intive/introject. Source memories do not define you, and do not make anyone "more valid" than anyone else. Your connection to your source is your own to explore, no matter how strong or what you have from it. Your identity as a intive/introject is defined solely by you

Hey Sollux,
So for what it's worth, I think it's perfectly valid if you ID with fictive or factive if you don't feel you have any connection with one of those terms. Another term you may like, though, is "faitive", (more commonly known as fcktive) which means an introject that is somehow connected to a factual and a fictional source at the same time.
Definitions aside, i'm so sorry that happened to you and your system. I just hope that with time you can find your own space that isn't in anyone's shadow, because you deserve that just as much as anyone else. We have a faitive of a past abuser in our system, and it's,, still really hard to interact with him. But you know, just wanted to say you're not alone in your experience. A-and that you deserve more than to look at yourself with disgust.

Using fiction
I don't know if this applies to the other faitives out there, but once I figured this out, It really help me set my own mental boundaries for who I am and who I'm not.
Faitives, fcktives, fuzztives, whatever you want to say. This is very specifically for the introjects of dramatized/"made for tv" versions of their problematic sources.
I was having serious problems with the fact that I didn't mind myself at all if the context was fictional. When I think of dramatized versions of me (even though it can be hard since I'm a highschooler and I'm usually portrayed in my 20s and 30s) I can feel a connection to that that I will NEVER be able to feel to the real guy. Eventually, I realized a big part of this is because at the end of the day, I am fictional. Theres nothing wrong with fiction.
After figuring this out, I no longer felt pressured to figure out what kind of person the real me was. I immediately felt a line of boundaries being drawn in my mind. Things about the real life person me weren't okay. Dramatized things, fanfiction, fanart and etc is.
I have to get more comfortable with those things regarding the real life things I did, because I feel like I genuinely know so little. I know npc is more source connected so he wants to learn more about himself, but now I know I have a boundary where I can ease myself into things like that.
For factives that aren't based on some fictional form, but still love themselves fictionally and dislike their real life sources, that's also a valid thing! It could be that you aren't very source connected and just have similar interests that makes fiction about you interesting.
And for my problematic factives out there that dont dislike or don't really have an emotion towards it at all, those of you who don't hate themselves and even chose to focus on the things you like? You guys rock! Maybe engaging on fiction can be helpful to you towards you as you put yourself in fun, new situations.
I hope this resonated with someone because it really helped me.

ive got a personal question/vent. im somewhere between a faitive-faitkin of the movie version of a well known serial killer. i still feel connected to my name, but primarily only my last name. i kinda wanna use it. the biggest issue is that this last name isnt something that can be separated from the real guy, since its a more.. unique? last name. i guess im just looking for some advice, i feel like a bad person if i want to use my name or face even though im a movie version of the real guy. i just really dont want to be a bad person. understandable if you cant respond to this or arent sure how, i think i just needed to get my feelings/thoughts out somewhere
I use my name and picture online and im from a movie, NPC uses our first and last name and a picture from the show he's based on, and our other boyfriend, who is a kin of the same guy from a show also uses the name and a picture from the fictional source
I don't see a thing wrong with doing that. The question is really how much you're able to handle. Like the last ask said, people go crazy when they see introjects from factual sources. I can add that you get just as much hate if it's a fictional version of a factual event. If you're able to handle that then go for it, but if not, you may at the very most want to have a second identity that may be able to shield you
