positivity post for unrepresented systems online!!! systems who want final fusion. systems who haven't had a host in years. systems who aren't introject heavy. systems who's littles and middles all act mature and like the body's age despite their insys age. systems who don't use any proxy bots on discord. systems who have osdd1a. systems who hardly ever know who's fronting. systems who found out about their system thru an official diagnosis. systems who have lots of parts that are very similar. systems who still call their parts "personalities" because it's the language that was used back when they were diagnosed. systems who will need accommodations for their disorder for their entire life. systems who don't want accommodations, ever.
i hear and see each and every one of you, and you're beautiful and amazing even if you don't fit the stereotypical system people talk about online. mwah <3

Why I don't like to talk about my alters on my accounts:
Tumblr media
- Alters are not the only part of OSDDID! There's already a huuuuuge focus on alters online, it genuinely annoys me sometimes. I don't view my alters as a huge 'concern' because my concern is in my other symptoms, not alters specifically.
- It's only my business to know of my alters and their actions, I don't want to only ever talk about the silly goofy moments. I can sit here and tell you how X did something hehe haha, but that's not my daily reality. My daily reality isn't these fun moments; it's coping. I cope and deal with dissociation, C-PTSD symptoms, depression. I don't want my own presentation on posts to be those moments. I want to uplift people, I want to complain, I want to let myself be me and part of me are my struggles. I won't sit here and detail every little thing, of course, but my posts are about CDDs, not alter disorder. When I share parts of my life, I don't want to be innacurate to my own personal experiences to 'fit in' with anyone else.
- I rarely proxy in spaces like this because I see it sometimes as irrelevant. If I make a post, do you really need to know which alter wrote said post? I'm Bubblefizz online, that's all you need to know, right? You don't need to know me by any other name. If an alter decides to proxy online or make a sideblog or an account, that's their decision. Just know that here on Bubblef1zz the focus is uplifting and being realistic and putting light on the symptoms outside of alters directly.

Food/cheese genic system origins
I shouldnt have to tell you that you cant form a system off the concept of cheese
Like they want us to take their experiences seriously but then come up with this?
I just cant anymore

Hey fellow plurals, are you up to sharing some experiences?
We're curious! How did you first become aware of your system?
If that's too vague, what first caused you to suspect something was up? And what was the last straw where you were like "oh we can't just ignore this"? If you had a moment like that.

What confuses me about other questioning systems is when they hear voices and still deny the possibility of being a system
Like I don’t hear voices at all but I act in ways I can’t control. Some people call that impulsivity
But straight up voices in your head is like the KING SYMPTOM lol
This is no hate, acceptance is hard, it’s just something I noticed that is different between me and other questioning people

What’s your opinion on Octocon? How is it better or worse than Simply Plural and Plural kit? What’s your opinion on PK and SP? What are the pros and cons between all 3 of them? Which one do you like better and why?

☆Denial in OSDD, information and tipps with sources☆
Hey, this is an informational post with many aspects to denial in OSDD. It might ease denial and ensure more knowledge on this very present state that people with this disorder struggle with (diagnosed and undiagnosed equally).
In this post I included:-- What do people mean with "Denial is part of the disorder"(protection and amnesia)--Media portrayal and its focus on alters--the self invalidation of own trauma--DID vs OSDD--Is it really that rare?--"Shouldnt I have noticed it?"--Communication in systems--"What if im still wrong?"
I have my sources in the end of the post and as always additions/corrections/experiences and questions are welcome :) (I am not a professional)
What do people mean with "Denial is part of the disorder"?
First of all one big part of the disorder is dissociative amnesia. This can show as covered amnesia or selective amnesia or emotional amnesia. All these arent fully noticable if you arent aware of it and they might lead to forgetting your own symptoms and the time alters fronted.
Denial can serve as a defense mechanism and a protective function. The idea of the disorder is to protect from trauma and severe stress. The unawarness or lack if acknowledgment over the disorder and your own seperate parts serves to avoid the host being overwhelmed with emotions and unwanted memorys. Usually the host is an ANP and has to maintain a functional state while dissociating from the stressing reality of having the disorder and the trauma it caused.
(Source: DSM-5, Therapeutic Work with Dissociative Identity Disorder (book by Colin A. Ross))
Media portrayal and its focus on alters
The portrayal of OSDD in media (including TV shows and social media) often centers around dramatic or sensationalized decisions of alters and can lead to misunderstanding and mispresentation. These portrayals can impact public perception, potentionally inducing denial among individuals with the disorder.
Since many people (especially ones that dont actively research the disorder) get their impressions of the disorder from media, the symptoms can be widely misunderstood. Common mistakes/clichees the media might make include: Overly dramatic switches, stereotyping alters, fantasy elements that make the disorder seem more magical then an actual disorder, exaggeration, undermining seriousness of disorder, Stigma, Lack of awareness of other symptoms.
In social media specifically the risks are: Glorification, lack of professional guidance, focus not on education, risk of the people not having the disorder.
If your system and alters and symptoms dont work the same as in media does by far not mean you dont have it.
(Sources: DSM-5 (2016), Ross C.A, DID: Diagnosis, Clinical Features and Treatment of Multiple Personality)
DID vs OSDD
If you often think: "I cant have that disorder because I dont have full amnesia between alters or because I dont have very distinct alters" then always remember: its literally what the diagnosis OSDD is for. Its described as followed: It is used for individuals who have similar symptoms to those with DID but who do not meet the full diagnostic criteria for DID. Most commonly, this describes individuals who have dissociative parts that are not sufficiently differentiated to qualify as alters (sometimes known as OSDD-1a) or individuals who do not have amnesia between alters (sometimes known as OSDD-1b). Some individuals with OSDD-1 lack both amnesia and highly distinct parts, and other individuals with OSDD-1 have highly distinct parts but rarely or never switch between them. These latter cases are also sometimes described as OSDD-1b.
Is it really that rare?
People with red hair: approximately 2 percent
People with DID: 2 percent (few estimates up to 5 percent)
Thats all. (sources: www.did-research.org, worldpopulationreview.com)
"Shouldnt I have noticed it anyway?"
The disorder forms in early childhood, so the symptoms might develope, change and so on, but it still has been there for a long time and there isnt much chance to see how it would be without it. In conclusion you might just accidentally be used to it and didnt realize something is different.
(Source: Dissociative Disorders - Pasadena Trauma Therapy, DID-Research.orghttps://did-research.orgWhat Causes Dissociative Identity Disorder?)
Communication in systems
In denial because your parts/alters dont clearly talk to you? That happens often. Communication can also be through sharing thoughts and feelings or even none at all. All systems are unique akd so is their communication.
(sources: several books including books from the authors Colin A. Ross, Deborah Haddock, Marlene Steinberg and Maxine Schnall, Suzette Boon and more)
"What if im still wrong?" (No sources, my personal conclusion)
Then its okay. This life is hard, so is trauma and everybody makes mistakes. If youre wrong or right in the end feels important, we know that, but in the end a diagnosis doesnt matter as much, your experiences do and no matter what: feelings are always valid and everybody deserves an open ear.
Okay, this all took hours now and the post is pretty long, but I hope this helps :)

Hello, everyone.
Are your days going well? How are you feeling today compared to yesterday, do you know? Well, nonetheless, here's my message to you all, as CDD systems.
— Feeling unreal or as if the world around you is unreal as part of your CDD symptoms is normal.
— Parts not having names and going by their role or characteristics is okay. Eg: The little one. Some parts simply may not want a name; that's okay.
— Sharing your headcounts online is not a necessity, so don't feel bad for not wanting to share this information.
— Be mindful to not share your triggers online; whether negative or positive. Don't feel forced to share triggers in the spaces you may be involved in.
— Not knowing every little detail about yourself is fine and even normal. Don't feel forced to find those details immediately; take your time and work at your own pace.
— Asking for management advice is okay. Asking for help is okay. Struggling is understandable and normal when you have a disorder. You are not a burden for seeking help and/or advice.
— If you feel anger, sadness, and such to high degrees, I'm here to tell you that that's okay. Having trouble understanding 'the why' is okay, and you're not a 'monster' if you get to that breaking point and lash out.
— Try not to compare your system to the systems online. Do you have lots of introjects? That's okay. Do you have only a few? That's okay. None? That's just as okay. Are there only 2 alters in your system? That's okay. 10? 40? That's okay. Are you polyfragmented? That's okay; it doesn't mean your experiences aren't real. OSDD1? P-DID? The same goes there. Your experiences aren't fake just because you may experience less amnesia. Your experiences aren't fake if you experience more amnesia. Your experiences aren't fake if you have amnesia of having amnesia. Your experiences aren't fake if you have more emotional amnesia.
I hope this makes someone's day better!! I added more tags to this post to try to reach more CDD systems.

the inherent "plurality acceptance despite fears of being more than you personally know and more than you can comprehend and can comfortably accept" plot of mob psycho 100 season 3 is probably a lot for systems to handle,, but the most realistic part is probably having the white mom in your life give you the earnest and loving "EVERYONE has two parts to themselves! it's normal!" and it being too honest and pure to even argue back with your actual situation so you relent and feel genuinely comforted
Tumblr media
acceptance of yourself as yourselves: 100%!! <3

Hello! Please call us Tyler, Dylyn, or TVS. Collectively we use any pronouns. Our main blog is @thevinylshop. Sorry if anything looks weird, we've never done a blog like this before.
Information below the cut.
What is this blog about?
Well, we aim to be a place where people—both alters and singlets—can share any positive thoughts they have to an alter, several alters, or a whole system. It can be from an alter in the same system, one from another system, or a singlet. We'll even accept an alter or system's appreciation post to a singlet!
Who can send asks?
We are personally anti-endogenic and would very much prefer for endos and endo supporters to please DNI. We also ask for problematic shippers, radqueers, transIDs, radfems/TERFs, disordered abuse believers (e.g. "narc abuse"), science disbelievers, and basic DNI to, well, DNI. Thank you!
What should I avoid?
It's asked to avoid graphic talk of anything potentially triggering, but feel free to send it in WITH A TRIGGER WARNING at the top, and we can deem if it's appropriate or not.
If an ask contains triggering content and we do accept it, we will tag the trigger warning in the tags AND the main message.
When will my submission be posted?
Typically we will go through all submissions once we gain the energy to, which is often anywhere from a week to a month. Please note that we usually will go through all posts in one sitting, unless the numbers are obscene, which we will instead close asks until every single one is gone through.
All in all, we aim to be a place where people can send anonymous (or public) appreciation to a system or an alter. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an ask or dm, or our main account (@thevinylshop) one.
