Hey, does anyone have ideas to convey someone's annoyance at a statement that isn't a sigh or eyeroll? Because I'm out of ideas there. I am struggling.

So I rewatched The Card Game Job today and oof this scene at the end really hit me in the guts this time.

I know this scene is so much about Breanna and her identity struggles and I don't wanna detract from that, but this was the first time I've really noticed Parker glancing off to the side.

She's not looking at Springer or Cordozar, she's looking at Eliot. And I can't help but think that she is thinking about herself and Eliot and Hardison. How she's been called crazy her whole life and never really had a place to fit in. How Eliot lost his identity to the one thing that was meant to define him. How Hardison is well adjusted but still went through those same struggles of being different and strange and not fitting in.

Parker is thinking about how she found a home with not just the Leverage crew but with Eliot and Hardison. She knows how deeply, intrinsically important that home is to her, and this helps her understand Breanna better. But this is also a moment of Parker missing Hardison, of wanting him to be here to share in Parker's revelation and Breanna's triumph through vulnerability.

I love that we see the reactions of the team to Breanna taking this stand, especially the pride on Harry and Eliot's faces. But Parker looks not only proud of her mentee, she looks a little heartbroken. Because Breanna just said, 'Like we do belong' and now Parker can't stop thinking about Hardison and how he was truly the first person in her life to make her feel like she belonged somewhere but he's not here to share this moment and ...

Idk it's just this homage to Hardison for me. He's not physically present for most of the series and we miss him. But his influence, his presence is still felt. And I love that we get to see it even through moments like this.

And yeah, I'm like Parker in this moment. I wish Hardison had been there to watch his little sister with pride.

Nakahara Chūya, and Miyazawa Kenji... Quite the unique bunch, aren't they?

The allegedly 'inhumane', gravity manipulating beast, and the temperamental, often starved sunshine child.

They're explored separately throughout the Manga, and are given their moments to express their characters through words and actions. At first sight, they'd be rendered polar opposites. However that may be true to an unknowing outsider, their current knowledge would never allow them to understand, to comprehend what lies within.

One loyal dog, another morally grey sweetheart.

They do meet once during the main plot; multiple times during the spin offs and once during the anthologies. They're portrayed to be an admiring boy with his idol. It's truly an adorable sight to behold.

The feared Mafia executive, and the loved, yet feared agency part timer.

It's a pity that they'll most probably never get the right opportunity to connect with one another. Their past experiences and sorrows are the key factors that would assist them to truly understand each other's emotions, as they both know what it's like to grieve over loved ones. They both know all too well what it's like to be the strongest; to be the pillar of support that everyone depends on in certain situations; their trump card. They both harbor abilities that are mighty, double edged swords, unstoppable when provoked, even harmful to oneself when pushed to their wits end. The weight of responsibility could weigh on them akin to dead weight, but they persevere through it, and they manage to make it through victorious. It's truly fascinating however, that the difference in environment could impact the path taken, and ideals followed by each. The way by which they choose to handle predicaments they're to be put in reflects the duality of humans that are infinitely similar and different concurrently.

Bottling up their issues and emotions isn't foreign to either. One due to his upbringing, and the other solely because of the fact that he has no time to deal with them. Life is moving, and the mafioso cannot afford to be held up by pitiful emotions. He is capable of destressing using quality wine in the safe confines of a bar table. The young blonde on the other hand is a stranger to pitiful anger, sadness and irritation. He has been brought up to never feel the need to be anything but happy. Yes, it might have effectively impacted him, making his perspective and views brighter, much more optimistic and inviting than most. However, a certain perspective would claim that variety in emotions is what makes us human; I'd leave it up to debate, yet I personally believe that with enough care and attention, the young Miyazawa could open up, even if a little to peak of anything that bothers him. That'd be the peak of character development. Another colossal issue that is faced by this superhuman fourteen year old happens to be how he chooses to handle his hunger. He could be half starved to death, yet not a single complaint would leave his lips. He's far too accustomed to it. He doesn't acknowledge it anymore, and that is not healthy.

A lost soul, and another wandering one.

I dare say Nakahara sees a fragment of his youth in the blonde countryboy. Nakahara would go to unimaginable lengths just to keep the boy's smile genuine; to keep it cheerful and glad to be in existence as ever. He'd try to reserve the boy's happiness, because he was too familiar with it being stripped away.

They might just be the shoulder that both of them needs to lean on, cry on in case the infamous ginger winds up lost to the alcohol.

If only the mangaka gave it a serious chance.

(TD;LR I firmly believe in and support the Chuenji sibling dynamic.

Just wondering, do you consider it wasteful to do any fanfic/derivative work, or simply the ones that are attempting to brute force a preferable outcome to an unsatisfying story? Like, would you consider it the same waste if LR was a spin-off comic about uhhh [idk much about LO bare with me] filling in that decade time skip, rather than a beat for beat rewrite? Again, hope my tone isnt giving hostile vibes, as im genuinely curious your opinion. Thanks!

no not at all, even though i have been hostile to some people in a "come the fuck on" way, i appreciate having a back and forth with someone where we both whittle something down until we hit a nugget of understanding that helps us understand. i dont know. something more. anyway:

i dont think wasteful is the right word but i think i'm WAY more glib about it than the vast majority of people in fandom spaces or artistic spaces. im 33 and been online since i was in the 4th grade, so my experience with fanfiction has been VAST and varied but i have never cared for the medium much at all. i was, growing up, an outside hostile observer who was part of the people who would "spork" (I KNOOOWWWWW) fanfictions of especially dubious nature and tear it to shreds. however, it was understood that these extreme examples were not representative of the majority of the contributions to the form, but i do not have the same sort of baseline respect for the craft it has been trying to demand for the past decade or so. it is forever going to be tied with its origins with the worst of the worst by means of negative psychological association. many such cases

WHATEVER anyway, i think its less about the fact that it's derivative work (lots of derivative work can be incredible) but that fact that its a derivative work without a purpose. like i'm not sure what it's supposed to add to the conversation except that this one person thinks that they can make a bad comic a little bit better. which like, okay. get in line pall! most people could! what are they contributing to a grander discussion? what is this comic supposed to make me, the reader, think? literally the only answer i can think of is "i am doing better!"

even something that fills in a time skip (lol i forgot abt that) struggles under the weight of the same purposelessness. the question that should be asked is "but why?"; what is the purpose of it? what is the point? is it fun? that's fine, but audiences who are external to the creation process are probably not going to get the same fun from reading it as the artist did making it.

Ngl I often wonder about both bob and spin, wtf did they do??? Like what was their job? Surely they did something in order to be found by the rats because there’s no way they raided all of Kranes labs. yeah i mean the whole bionic army requires some serious suspension of disbelief. i'm pretty sure Sebastian had a homing beacon he used to call the army to him tho, which is how they found everyone. ig it's possible that some soldiers didn't/couldn't answer to it, like Taylor.

really the most unrealistic part of lr is the idea that the USA gov. would allow a bunch of kids/teens to walk around w incredibly advanced deadly weapons.

Skylanders Reviews: Lightning Rod

Welcome back to Skylanders Review: Spyro's Adventure edition. We'll be tackling our first Air Elemental with Lightning Rod, a character I don't actually have much to say about!

[Image: Lightning Rod is something called a Storm Titan, Blue Skinned Humanoids who have an entire Nimbus/Cloud instead of legs. He has green eyes, a large broad nose, and Chesnut brown hair. He's most likely based on Greek/Roman Gods, especially those who wield Lightning Bolts as weapons like he does, and thus he has long, magnificent hair and a full flowing beard. He's wears nothing to avoid covering up his massive pecs and shredded abs, but he does wear spiked golden bands on his wrists.]

Lightning Rod here is actually a trope I really like, even if he's otherwise quite plain when it comes to the Skylanders roster. I just like the silhouette of characters whose entire lower body is made up of condensation. The nimbus, aka clouds that are more solid than you'd think, are just cool and it makes sense to include a character that uses them in the first batch of Air types.

LR here is not a god despite his design, as Storm Titans are just the species that occupy the Cloud Kingdom he came from. His lore states that he was a Hometown Celebrity and was celebrated with praise and statues in his image. However, he found this life unsatisfactory and was immediately intrigued when Spyro visited the kingdom and told his own tales of adventure. LR was hooked on the stories and followed Spyro to seek Eon's audience in the hopes of becoming a Skylander as well.

He's another character that's fallen to the wayside, only getting a few scant appearances in the several spin-off books for the games. Even his second figure was just a new sculpt that doesn't change anything besides how many bolts he has.

Oddly enough the Complete Collection book I use as a secondary reference has an entirely different backstory, stating that Lightning casually blasted away Kaos when the little guy tried to take over a sporting event. This impressed Eon enough to get Rod recruited.

I do like the small detail that he can be distracted with his own reflection.

Motto: "One Strike and You're Out." A good Motto, not only does it tie into his power set, but it also incorporates a brag since in baseball it takes Three strikes before you're out.

2/5 Chompies out of Five. I can't really justify giving him anymore, since compared to other Skylanders he's rather forgettable. That doesn't mean he isn't a necessary representation of his monster archetype. He avoids a 1 thanks to Pretty Privilege.

Genuinely wondered if the read more was necessary.

Hey there everyone, and welcome to night eleven of the ninth annual Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month.

Tonight we have the DLR/WDW, Wreck-it Ralph 10th Anniversary, King Candy, Wreck-it Ralph pin. LR.

This is the second of two limited release pins that were sold in Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World for the tenth anniversary of the Wreck-it Ralph movie. The celebratory pin features the main antagonist of the film, King Candy in his Royal Racer. Lifting up his goggles as he appears to be nodding to his fans while driving past. The pin itself is a simple pin-on-pin design, though with the added gimmick of spinning wheels that bring to life the idea of him driving. The gold finish of this pin is also highly reflective, which actually forced me to shut off the lights in order to capture this image.

While I do enjoy the amount of detail put into this pin, especially in regards of the kart. I cannot get over the lazy face King Candy is making. Almost as if this were a picture taken at an unfortunate moment, one that I'm sure Vanellope would laugh at if she ever came across it. As humorous as it is though, I personally would've chosen something a little more unique for a King Candy 10th anniversary pin. As this exact pin design and gimmick combination has been done before. The only difference between the two being the size of the pin and King Candy's face. Another scene from or inspired by the movie would have likely made for another good anniversary pin, though this is only my opinion and the pin itself still is a well made one.

Need to see a fic where Leo learns Logan has a good relationship with Spin (like a closer sibling relationship) and kinda has to cope with that.

Like, Logan is a bit protective of Spin, but more realistically than how Janelle was since Logan knows his skill level, and so Leo doesn't know how to behave around Spin since he doesn't want Logan to dislike him (not that that's possible)

ok as much as i am thrilled with playable zelda in a Brand New Game. i gotta say, one of my main gripes with totk was the extremely fiddly gameplay style. which........ i'm still a dedicated hater of. and eow doesn't really look like it improved in that area... at all.

not to be a broken record, but what i, as a fake imposter poser wannabe of a gamer, have always enjoyed about loz games is: 1) the fun characters 2) the gameplay is (historically) so simple. it's not about the Press X+LR+spin to open the Deploy Gravity Menu. you don't have to remember or keep track of or scroll through jack shit, mostly. you get one new weapon per dungeon. which you use to get through the dungeon and then sporadically later as signaled by the object(s) that tell you to use that item. you do puzzles and fight. and...... tada! that's it. it's so nice. let me tell you, i hate scrolling and grinding and other tedious, distracting features that keep me from, like.... y'know......... playing a game. that's why i like zelda!!!!!!! you can just Play The Game!! it doesn't stop you!!!!! USUALLY...........

and maybe i'm being too much of a hater! but i didn't get more than 20 hours into totk because the Arm irritated me so badly. zelda games being built around new and innovative mechanics is kind of my worst personal nightmare. imo. tbh. to me.

my HOPE is that it won't. be that bad. but totk was so successful. and people are so excited about playable zelda, and so i'm sure eow will be successful too.... and so probably this is just what's going to happen. instead of being based around vibes and whacky characters and a new world to explore and love. we are going to get Mechanics: The Video Game. which i know is some people's jam and there's nothing wrong with it except loz is not one of the only game series i can play for no reason. and, like. sad day when it falls off the list. is all. if that happens.

THIS MAY BE PESSIMISTIC OF ME ! and demonstrably i AM still excited. and this is going to be a game people enjoy and do cool things with no matter what my opinion is. and nintendo is going to do what it does regardless of what i want. also demonstrably. i've never been more disappointed than i was when i played totk for the brief time i did that let me tell you. basically the first thing i did was collect all the dragon tears. CAN you imagine.

anyway. this may be the zelda game that boots me out of my lifelong zelda phase. or it may be the one that gives me. some shreds of hope. my fingers are crossed and i'm going to vibrate excitedly about the new levels of unhinged zelda characterization forever. but honestly. pessimism so far really is winning.

sid updates: i'm pivoting his backstory with the EoM away from them not allowing him to train with a punisher because they thought he was an unworthy investment/believed him to be an inferior candidate on the basis of under performance and instead spinning it so they didn't let him train with a punisher because they saw how good he was, and eventually came to realise that he was far too irreverent and unruly to wield one, in stark contrast to someone like razlo whose unerring obedience and loyalty to chapel made him an excellent candidate, largely because it made him predictable

sid is an excellent shot and has the wherewithal to wield a punisher in terms of physical strength and finesse but he is far too undisciplined, too unscrupulous, answers to no one but himself, is clearly disdainful of the mentors and elders in the faculty and treats the other trainees with scorn and mockery at best and unbridled unapologetic violence at worst

in the beginning he used to hate the fact that they prohibited him from having his own punisher because he couldn’t understand why, he definitely felt like he was good enough to wield one and performed at least as well as they needed him to, but later on when he realises the particulars about why it all played out like that he really relishes in the knowledge that it was because the faculty were fearful of the destruction he could cause with a weapon like that, that he would turn it on them because sidney abides by no code but his own, obeys no rules or whim except his own, and so they decided to cut him off and deprive him of it

which leads me to this design, his own eye getup. another one of sid's specialties, besides hand to hand combat, is long range weapon accuracy, it was one of the contributing reasons he was so good with a punisher in training. explosives are his modus operandi but his signature weapon is a grenade launcher. since they wouldn't give him a punisher of his own, this ended up being the substitute, and he proved to be very efficient with it! i imagine there's still a bit of room for flexibility so he can still engage opponents in close quarters combat but for the most part all his important areas are protected. i don't think they'd need too much armour padding considering sid has super healing augments just like LR do. as long as he doesn't manage to blow his head off his neck he'll be fine.

New King-Ohger theory!

Ok, Racules is such an interesting character! And so I was wondering why Racules acts so differently in different situations

On one hand, he considered the duel sacred and won fair and square. It was implied he intentionally made sure that Gira won't die and in the spin-off he turned himself in to Rita for killing a woman who was already sentenced to death anyway, that was also being a monster and attacking him at the same time

Meanwhile, he also wants to conquer everything, called people tools, endangered his onw nation by doing nothing and demanded Rita to made a verdict that suited him...

What if... What if all Bugnarok bugs can shapeshift? We saw that one Bugnarok monster from episode 8 that could shapeshift? But what if all of them can do that? And the only difference is that it could "vanish into thin air"?

What if Racules that we usually see is a Bugnarok pretending to be him?! (Probably Desnarak, while we're at it) What if they only sometimes put out the real Racules to the spotlight when it's necessary? (accompanied by his totally-not-also-Bugnarok assistents, to make sure he doesn't act out of the line?) Like, when they need him to use OhgerCalibur ZERO, because as we know, it only responds to Hastie DNA

We all saw how suspiciously well did Bugnarok's actions aligned in Racules' favour

And maybe they got rid of Gira, because it would be difficult to pretend to be both princes at once? Or because he would be able to tell that this other Racules is off? Or maybe, idk, in the childhhood, Racules saw how Bugnarok are meddling with their father, he managed to send Gira away or sth, but he was later caught?

That would mean that only Racules from episodes 6 and 8 and spin-off, of course, would be the real one, since we saw him using Ookuwagata powers, that are reserved for the Hasties only. EDIT: I remembered the blood sample from episode 5. It's possible that it's the real Racules the whole time but the just acts differently because he's being observed by Bugnarok and threatened by them

I not only saw on internet a theory that Racules' assistant might be Bugnarok in disguise, I also saw the picture comparing their gestures

What's more, he was the only person we saw in retrospection from Episode 5 aside of the Hastie Brothers. In episode 8, Rita says that only him and Racules himself would know the details about Gira's "kidnapping"

Desnarak pretends to be Racules, with his Prime Minister being the servant dude. Real Racules only showed up in episodes 6, 8 and spin-off, since we saw him use OhgerCalibur ZERO. He was also the nicest version of himself in those. Or, you know, it's just regular Racules but he acts the way he does because he's being observed and threatened

Pairings: Jon Moxley/Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley/Bryan Danielson, implied Shield/BCC/Renee

Summary: Yuta's finally had enough, Mox will fix the situation somehow.

"I have to go, man. I need you to find Renee and send her to the Club's locker room asap."

"Jonny, what the-?"

"No time, Eddie! Now!" Mox doesn't wait for Eddie's response, spinning around and stalking off toward the locker room.

He storms through the doors, wincing when they hit the wall. The scene he witnesses when he walks in makes him want to taste someone's blood. Claudio walks slowly towards him, hands out like he's trying to calm a wild animal, but Mox drops the belt and pushes past him. Regal looks up at him from his kneeling position in front of Yuta.

"Oh, Sunshine look, Mox is here." Regal sadly reports as he stands with Claudio's help, petting through his young lover's hair gently, leaving the room when the two-minute warning for the match is announced through the door.

He falls to his knees in front of Yuta, putting his hands on his face and pressing their foreheads together. "Tell me Pup, give me a name and I'll bring you their head."

"You can't Moxie, not this time."

"I can do whatever the fuck I want Yoots, and I certainly would do anything for you."

"I'm done, Jon." He freezes, ice filling his filling his veins slowly. "I'm done trying, I can't stick my neck out only to be hurt every time, so I'm done." Mox lifts his head and swings it toward Claudio.

"What the fuck happened? What did he do?" Claudio doesn't answer, just replays the promo for him. "Oh, hell no, I'm gonna kill him!"

“Enough Mox, please, I want to go to the house, I want to sleep in my bed.” Yuta grabs his face, making him look at him. “Please I want my bed.”

My bed. The phrase runs through his head on repeat, getting louder, screaming at him until it rips a whimper out of his throat. Claudio comes up behind him, strong hands on his shoulders, keeping him centered, and Yuta, seeming to realize what he said, taps his fingertips against Mox’s face like Regal taught him to reclaim his attention.

“No Moxie, we are not done, I’m not giving any of you up, I’m too selfish for that. I just refuse to fight for someone who’s already given up the war. I-I can’t keep getting hurt by him, so until everything settles down or he comes to me, I don’t want to be with him, professionally and friendly sure, but not romantically.”

Mox’s breathing comes a little easier after his Pup’s declaration and he breathes deeply before looking up at Claudio. “Take him home babe,” he sees Renee push the door open, finally arriving. “Both of you take him home if you’re done. I’ll stay here and wait for Regal and Bryan.” 

Claudio tries to argue, but Mox waves him off. His Swiss lover sighs deeply, grabbing his and Yuta’s bags and walking away with him. He hears him tell Renee he’ll explain in the car, before Mox feels thin arms wrap around his waist and a kiss is placed on his back. 

“I love you Mox, I always will, nothing will change that, I promise.” He turns around, not letting the arms release him, kissing his Pup deeply, nibbling on his lower lip toward the end. 

“I love you too, Yuta, now go with them and call Seth or Roman when you get into bed, please let Renee or Claudio stay with you.” He places a kiss on Yuta’s lips again, watching his three lovers walk out. 

He pulls up a metal chair close to television, watching Bryan’s match with Sammy Guevara, the kid and his wife making his lip curl into a snarl. His phone dings, a quick glance letting him know that the trio was home safely, and Yuta was in bed with Claudio. Another ding sounds and it’s from Seth, letting him know that he’s on the phone with Yuta because Roman is too aggressive at the moment. He sends a quick thumbs up as a response, getting distracted at the sight of Bryan’s bloody face. His mind drifts as the match goes on, splitting his attention between Bryan and Yuta, his mood continuously darkening. He is taken from his thoughts by the sound of the door opening and he feels a stinging pain, looking down to see eight perfect bloody crescents on his palms. 

“Demon, you’re still here? I thought you would have head on home with the others.” Regal questions warily. 

“Wanted to check on Bryan, I know Sammy boy can be an ass sometimes, and I saw the blood.” He watches Bryan head for the showers. “He get checked out?”

“Yes Jon, he did, what is really going on? You never let Sunshine go home without you. Please Jon, I know things are tense, but he’s hurt.”

“William, I know he’s your golden boy, but this has gone on long enough.”

“Jon-.”

“Yuta said he’s done! He’s done letting Bryan hurt him, so until things settle down, or Bryan comes to him, he’s done with Bryan romantically. He swears that he’s still going to be with us, but how long until he’s so miserable he leaves all together?” Mox sighs and scrubs his face roughly. “I’m not going to hurt him William, but I am gonna give him a goddamn wake up call, so stay or don’t, your choice.” 

“I trust that you know the limits, he has truly been hurt tonight, so please let us go home in one piece tonight, My Demon.”

“We will darlin’, we will, I think Ortiz wanted to ask you some questions about submissions.” Mox stated, giving Regal an out.

They hear the shower shut off, both looking toward the bathroom doors. “Yes, I think I will go find the lad now, call me when you’re ready to leave.”

Mox walks inside the bathroom toward the shower stalls, eyeing Bryan as he dries off and steps into a pair of sweatpants. His footsteps are silent as he closes in on his Dragon, mentally mapping and categorizing the bruises littering his back. He appreciates the beautiful sight of Bryan before seizing him by one of his shoulders and pushing him into the closest wall. His other hand shields his lover’s face, so it doesn’t make contact with the hard surface. 

“Mox, what the fuck? Let me go!” Bryan tries to twist out of Mox’s hold unsuccessfully, and Mox brushes his lips against the Dragon’s ear.

“So, you feel disrespected, do you? By Jericho, by your boy Daniel, and by our boy Yuta, am I right?” He kisses Bryan’s ear, feeling the shiver run through his body.

“Mox please, I was just upset, I got carried away,” he shivers as Mox switches to his other ear, running his nose across the back of it, before nuzzling his way down to the back of his neck. “Mox, come on-.”

“How about I show you some disrespect, baby?” He sets his teeth on Bryan’s neck, biting deeply when he hears his lover’s whine of confusion.

“Ah! Mox what the fu-?” 

Mox keeps his teeth sunk in, making sure to create a bruise, before releasing the skin. Bryan is breathing hard, letting his head lay against the wall. Mox wraps his arms around Bryan, gently pulling the both of them backwards until he can fall onto one of the benches, Bryan in his lap. He leans in near his ear again, blowing on it softly to feel him writhe in his captivity, his Dragon whining softly when Mox runs a finger over the bite mark.

“Oh, I’m sorry baby, did I hurt you? Do you feel disrespected? I would absolutely hate it if you felt that way.” He scoffs angrily, moving his hands to Bryan’s hips, making him stand up so he can walk back into the sitting area.

It doesn’t take long for the fog to clear from Bryan’s mind, filling with anger instead of hazy confusion, and he storms after Mox, slamming the doors against the walls. His anger grows we he sees Mox lounging peacefully on the couch.

“What the fuck was that Mox?!” He brushes his fingertips against the bite mark, wincing in pain. “You think I don’t have enough bruises from tonight? You had to add one more? For what, huh? Me saying I feel disrespected by Yuta?” He paces back and forth, feeling Mox tracking his movement like a hungry predator. 

Mox shrugs nonchalantly, “What can I say, baby? I thought I should let you feel a little bit of the pain that the Pup is feeling right now.”

“Is that why you stayed? To show me how much pain Yuta is in? Well thanks, so glad you could take the time to fucking bite me so that I know that I hurt his feelings, much appreciated.” Bryan realizes he’s said the wrong thing when a snarl is ripped from Mox’s throat.

“No, sweetheart, I’m here to deliver a message before we three go home to the others, figured you’d want us to be alone when I tell you.” Mox leans forward, elbows resting on his knees, and his hands clasped under his chin. “The bite was just for me, let’s say it’s almost like a timer.” Bryan wants to wipe the smirk off his face. 

“Delivering a message? A fucking timer? Speak fucking plainly, Jon, I’m tired of this game!” Bryan gulps slightly, backing up as Mox rises from the couch, stalking toward him. 

“Yeah Bry, a message from Yuta actually. He says he’s done letting you hurt him. That until you’re ready to come to him and talk things out like a goddamn adult, or things settle down, he’s done. He’ll be your friend and your stable mate, but he can’t be your lover right now, not until you grow a pair and apologize, or calm the fuck down.” 

“N-no, Mox wh-?”

Mox crowds Bryan into the wall, grazing his fingertips around the bite. “And yeah, a timer Bryan. Until this bad boy heals, you’re to keep your distance from Yuta. I can’t trust you around him because you can’t stop hurting him. He’ll train with me, Claudio, or Regal and I’m sure we can figure out a sleeping arrangement.”

“Please Jon-.” Mox brushes a finger over Bryan’s lips. 

“Hush, Dragon. When this bite heals, you’ll fix your mistakes, but until then, Yuta is off limits to you. I know it sounds cruel, but I refuse to lose any of you fuckers. You made me love you all; you and Regal moved me in, and I made my home with you. I won’t lose anybody, so if this is what needs to happen, so be it, I’ll be the bad guy.” Mox butts his forehead against the side of Bryan’s temple gently. 

They are interrupted by the locker room door opening, surprised to see Renee walk in with Regal. He backs away from Bryan, giving him room to breathe and calm down, walking towards their duffle bags. 

“I’m glad you’re here baby girl, think I can bum a ride from you?” He situates the bags to one hand, holding Renee’s cheek, and kissing her sweetly.

“You seem nice enough, so I guess so.” She shrugs, fighting a smile, giving Regal time to go check in with Bryan.

“You bit him Jon. Don’t try and say you didn’t, this absolutely was not here earlier.” Bryan places a hand on Regal’s back.

“Don’t William, I-I don’t like that he did it, but I know why he did. It’s no different than when you slap us, yeah? This is my timer, I accept that. Can you and I please just sit down for a moment? I need some down time with you before we go home.”

Mox drops the bags by Renee’s feet, striding toward Bryan again. “I love you Bryan, so much, I’m sorry for the bite, I really didn’t plan that.” He nuzzles his nose on Bryan’s cheek.

“I love you too, Mox. I know you didn’t, we all will fix any tension between us and when this heals, I’ll fix things with Yuta.” Mox feels tears hit his nose and he leans back to look into Bryan’s eyes.He pulls his lover into a tight hug, burying his face into his neck to let him cry for a moment, stroking his neck and humming into his ear until Bryan pulls away. He watches as Regal grabs Bryan by his hips, pulling him back into his chest gently, whispering in his ear. Mox gets his older lover’s attention, kissing him over Bryan’s shoulder.

“I love you, old man, we’ll see you at the house, try not to stay much longer, okay?” He pecks his lips again before backing away.

“I love you too, my Demon, go and take care of our Sunshine and I will come in and check on you all when I get home.” Mox looks into his eyes to see if he can find any anger, but all he sees is love and understanding shining back at him. 

Renee grabs his hand, and he takes the bags from her before they turn to leave. As they reach the doors Mox turns back to glance at his lovers, seeing Bryan in Regal’s lap, face in his neck. Regal looks up to see him staring and sends him a small, sweet smile before turning his attention back to Bryan. Renee leads him to the car, and he decides to let her drive, too unfocused at the moment. He is worried that Regal is mad at him, so he pulls his phone out.

Me: We’re okay, you and me?

He anxiously bites his thumbnail, waiting for an answer, starting to drift off in his thoughts, but the notification brings him back before he can start his spiral downward. 

Old Man 👑💛: Ease your thoughts my Demon, we are okay. I love you Jon, my darling Wild Thing. Get home and take care of the others and I will take care of you when I get home my sweet boy 😘

He texts Yuta and Claudio quickly, letting them know they are on the way, and puts his phone away. Renee puts her hand in his lap, giving him the option to hold it if he wants to, which he gladly accepts. Laying his head back against the headrest, he allows his mind drift, letting his wife’s presence calm his mind until they arrive home. They will be okay, he knows it, they just have to get through the hazards in their way.
