Another My Adventures with Superman / MAWS fanart! This is part 1/2, I wanted to draw a seasonal set as mirrors of each other. This is the Spring version, with Superman carrying Clark (the other one will be Fall, with Clark carrying Superman). Wanted to try a more painterly look this time since I've been doing mainly cell shading/no shading. The Fall drawing to go with this one

Clark was sure, he was in love and he was sure, he knew what his future would be..... and then he saw the future.

And then he couldn't be sure anymore, he lost the confidence to overcome his fear and tell her the truth, and fate altered his path.

In all likelyhood they probably wouldn't have lasted, kids are terrible at considering other people's feelings and relationships are fucking hard . But the choice was taken away from them.

I'm not a Lana/Clark shipper this is just about fate and agency and narrative. But baby Clark and Lana look so cute!!!

Sedge Warbler in Hedgerow @ Oare Kent by Adam Swaine Via Flickr: In the morning, I was lucky with some sedge warblers that ignored me completely; they sat close by and sang their hearts out. The reed warblers were also out and about, but never close enough for a picture; Cetti's warblers sang from cover, and I never even saw them. There were some linnets around too, and a couple of them were very cooperative.

In this front garden Exochorda × macrantha 'The Bride' (pearlbush), the deciduous shrub, has been pruned to create an informal hedge. The arching branches will soon be covered in short racemes of white flowers complimented by the fresh green emerging leaves.
