Steven Universe x Sonic AU!

"Robotnik" is a Red Emerald/Red Beryl/Bixbite that used to be a planet conquerer for Homeworld, and "Stone" is a Purple Zircon that was assigned to him to keep him out of trouble/justify his actions to the court. They go rogue together and start going by "he/him" pronouns :3

Over the years offworld Robotnik's form gradually changes, eschewing the stiff lines and sharp edges of his original design for a more rounded shape. Stone, for his part, adopts a more humanoid appearance and mimics a beard.

After Robotnik gets consumed and semi-shattered when he attempts to absorb the Chaos Emerald, his corrupted form looks like a mantis-crab-beetle thing that Stone goes through great pains to take care of for a while. Through the power of love fusion, they make an enormously narcissistic and wantonly destructive Heliotrope that takes great pleasure in subjugating others.

the story is: band steven (one of my more well known au's, @eli-au) is given this wishing shard from a different steven from a portal, (also is given a portal gun) warning him about the problems ahead with this shard, and leaves, stevens confused, then a DIFFERENT ,, steven ? , person ? he couldn't tell, but from a different universe and steals the shard !

these actions make steven and his bandmates (they tagged along) go on this crazy and wacky adventure !! visiting different AUs trying to find this one person who stole the wishing shard ! who knows what enemies they shall come across.

Welp, my second semester approaches! And I'm not sure of how heavy the work load will be this year round, since I'm also expected to gain an internship in the summer.

On top of that, I've decided to get a good number of parts made up beforehand before posting so I can at least have a few posts to post weekly or bi-weekly at best for a while. (but if i hit a part where i can answer asks, I'll probably take a pause to gather them^^)

While asks do help with rounding out and somewhat progressing the story, I don't wanna rely too heavily on them, and thus I'm also scripting so dialogue by itself won't be as shoddy this year round.

Even if I'm gonna try to keep yas entertained with posts of random lore bits, scenarios, and other concepts, I feel like I might disappear for longer intervals after the 21st.

With all of this in mind, I want to keep y'all engaged during these busy times.

So, I officially announce the grand opening of the

SU RIC Discord Server!

Here you'll be able to mingle with packmates, share arts more easily and receive updates on RIC and keep in touch with me more directly! [I mean, you can still keep in touch with me here, but I feel discord may be more quicker and more direct- :P]
