I've decided to make my steddie hcs, the one with deaf/hoh steve, a real fic. that you all can read if you'd like. that's in the works right now. that I've made into a viewable google doc and maybe against my better judgement have decided to share okay here you go, nerds

(I'll probably post it to ao3 later but right now it's a decent size. as I'm drafting this post, the work itself sits at roughly 14-15k words. will all be posted as one part when I get around to it, since I can't seem to divide anything into chapters ig. anyone with the link can comment so leave some feedback if you'd like!!)

Izuku keeps sheets of really weird stuff in his pockets to use his quirk on - like, scraps of firefighter uniforms, teflon sheets, aluminium, fibreglass, etc - along with chalk and washable markers. You never know when you'll need it!

He was bullied when his quirk first came in because it was assumed his quirk only worked on paper, and Bakugo is highly flammable. Then he brought a concrete dragon to life doodling on the playground and even though it wasn't much larger than an A3 sheet of paper - concrete. dragon. He and Bakugo are weird rivals "i dont agree with 90% of the shit you do but i respect you" type relationship.

His hero costume has a dragon drawn on it, its hard to see because its warped over the whole thing, but it's there for emergencies. He also has inkless pens (a metal alloy that leaves a graphite like mark on surfaces, more correctly called metalpoint) hidden in the fingertips of his gloves and on the toes of his shoes!

The more constructs he creates, the harder to keep them physical (pre UA his limit is 3, if they are acting together). The bigger they are, the more energy they take to create them, but the energy needed to sustain them is the same, and pretty negligible.

 Danny and his haunt are more than a little distressed to find out that Pariah Dark can’t be destroyed and can only be sealed away due to being the Ancient of Darkness. Danny is worried about someone trying to wake him up again, while his friends are more worried about the ghost going after the newborn Ancient of Space again. 

 They scour libraries, search high and low in both the Ghost Zone and the living world for a solution before finally just asking Clockwork. 

 And well, they feel like just a bit of idiots but also elated. 

 Because if Danny can become the new embodiment of space, then what’s to stop them from giving the power of darkness to someone else that’s not Pariah Dark? 

 They make a list of requirements, ask both ghosts and living friends. There’s nothing in their world, no one quite right, but what about other worlds? The realms are supposedly infinite right? So there had to be someone out there. 

 And while it takes a long, long time, they eventually find one when a small bloodied ghost of greens, golds, and reds comes forth shyly, eyes burning with determination. He speaks of heroes and villains- far more than their own world- of a city cloaked in shadow and of a single man trying to help despite it seeming impossible. 

 Who better to become the new Dark besides the dark knight himself after all?

Oh gosh… what a mess. Why did I even post this up?

Well, it’s a WIP sheet with a few post-it notes sketches I had done. This is usually what the first/second stage of my drawings look like before I start cleaning them up and adding the detail. Most doodles are from Security Breach Ruin; there’s one from “Days of Laughs and Nights of Screams” (story by @justaduckarts) and there’s one from “Cryptid Sightings” (story by @naffeclipse) - I’m actually working on different pieces from these two awesome stories; there’s something from that metal comic I keep putting up; and a couple of other sketches that are actually from nowhere.

At the end of the day, it’s actually pretty relaxing to just sketch without having to worry about trying to make everything perfect. After all, if you’re working on something and not enjoying it, then why keep doing it?
