Words You Always Have to Look Up
Nonplussed
Means “perplexed.”
But there is a further point of confusion that can send someone to the dictionary: since the mid-20th century, nonplussed has been increasingly used to mean “unimpressed” or “unsurprised,” and this use, though often considered an error, has made the confident deployment of this word a fraught issue for many.
Anodyne
Sometimes words sort of seem to telegraph their meaning: pernicious sounds like a bad thing rather than a good thing, and beatific sounds like something to be desired as opposed to something to be avoided.
This is all fairly subjective, of course, but the sounds of words can have an effect on how we perceive them.
Anodyne doesn’t give us many clues in that way. It turns out that anodyne is a good thing: it means “serving to alleviate pain” or “innocuous,” from the Greek word with similar meanings.
Supercilious
Used to describe people who are arrogant and haughty or give off a superior attitude.
It comes from the Latin word meaning “eyebrow,” and was used in Latin to refer to the expression of arrogant people, and this meaning was transferred to English.
Amusingly, the word supercilious was added to some dictionaries in the 1600s—a time when many Latin words were translated literally into English—with the meanings “pertaining to the eyebrows” or “having great eyebrows.”
Stochastic
In scientific and technical uses, it usually means “involving probability” or “determined by probability,” and is frequently paired with words like demand, model, processing, and volatility.
Comes from the Greek word meaning “skillful at aiming,” which had become a metaphor for “guessing.”
It’s a term that had long been used by mathematicians and statisticians, and has come into more public discourse with stochastic terrorism, the notion that accusations or condemnations of a person or group can lead to violence against that person or group. This allows those who make the initial accusations to seem innocent from any specific violent act, but stochastic terrorism is a way to identify the motives for such an attack as being set in motion by the words of another person.
Anathema
Means “something or someone that is strongly disliked”.
Initially used to refer to a person who had been excommunicated from the Catholic church.
Came from Greek through Latin into English with the meaning of “curse” or “thing devoted to evil,” but today refers to anything that is disapproved of or to be avoided.
There is a strangeness about the way this word is used in a sentence. Because anathema is usually used without an or the, as in “raincoats are anathema to high fashion” or “those ideas are anathema in this class” it may seem just odd enough to send people to the dictionary when they encounter it.
Bemused
So close in sound to amused that they have blended together in usage, but they started as very different ideas: bemused originally meant “confused” or “bewildered,” a meaning stemming from the idea of musing or thinking carefully about something, which may be required in order to assess what isn’t easy to understand.
Many people insist that “confused” is still the only correct way to use bemused, but the joining of meanings with amused has resulted in the frequent use of this word to mean “showing wry or tolerant amusement,” a shade of meaning created from the combination.
Words with meanings that seem to crisscross or intersect are sure to send us to the dictionary.
Solipsistic
Means “extremely egocentric” or “self-referential.”
Comes from the Latin roots solus ("alone," the root of sole) and ipse ("self").
As this Latinate fanciness implies, this is a word used in philosophical treatises and debates.
The egocentrism of solipsism has to do with the knowledge of the self, or more particularly the theory in philosophy that your own existence is the only thing that is real or that can be known.
Calling an idea or a person solipsistic can be an insult that identifies a very limited and usually self-serving perspective, or it can be a way to isolate one’s perspective in a useful way.
It’s a word with an abstract meaning, which is a good reason to check that meaning from time to time.
Tautology
A needless or meaningless repetition of words or ideas.
It’s a word about words that can be used in academic writing or as a hifalutin way of saying “redundancy,” as in “a beginner who just started learning.”
Since we value both clarity and originality, especially in writing, tautology is a word that usually carries a negative connotation and is used as a way to criticize a poorly formed sentence or a poorly argued position.
Perspicacious
The ability to see clearly is a powerful metaphor for being able to understand something.
Being perspicacious means having an ability to notice and understand things that are difficult or not obvious, and it comes from the Latin verb meaning “to see through.”
Means “perceptive,” and is often used along with words that have positive connotations like witty, clever, wise, alert, and insightful (another word that uses seeing as a metaphor for understanding).
Peripatetic
Means “going from place to place,” and comes from the Greek word that means “to walk.”
You can say someone who moves frequently has a “peripatetic existence,” or someone who has changed careers several times has had a “peripatetic professional trajectory.”
The root word “to walk” is usually more of a metaphor in the modern use of this word—it means frequent changes of place, yes, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are wearing out your shoes.
The original use of this word did use “walking” as a more literal image, however: it was a description of the way that the philosopher Aristotle preferred to give lectures to his students while walking back and forth, and the word has subsequently taken on a more metaphorical meaning.

How do you increase your vocab?/
If you're content accumulating words passively: read a lot, read widely, and at times, read classic or dated books to see different, uncommon usages.
Even reading nonfiction articles or journals could introduce you to more words though such words could potentially be less of the poetic variety and more sterile and technical in nature, even if they're still useful. For instance, you might be more likely to learn "invidious" from fiction and "stochastic" from nonfiction.
So, you might want to consider what niche of words you're looking to learn if you have anything in mind? Discipline-specific words? Fanciful, literary words? Hyper-specific, nigh-useless words like "defenestration" (interesting to know but probably best for comedy or satire?), "vatic" (useful in theory but probably hard to intuitively tell what it means from its appearance/construction for most readers), or "maquette" (highly specific noun, not the most useful either).
And, if you directly look up a word and example sentences for it, you're probably more likely to better remember it. Only being exposed to a single usage in a book is less helpful, especially if you can't understand it in that one context, and you might have more potential for error if you only gleaned the word's meaning from context.
A note on genre: avoid contemporary, conversational/minimalist prose styles if you're reading for the purpose of learning words since those don't tend to aggregate anything to your vocab.—at least, that is my limited experience with the contemporary romance genre in particular, which could use more wars or action in it, in my opinion, since it's not always particularly eventful due to genre convention /j. Yet, I can't complain since I may not be that genre's target audience. However, even some children's books have taught me more obscure words than that spare prose style for adults.
If you want to acquire vocabulary more actively, I would recommend subscribing to Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day or the OED. Also, studying word lists could help, if you're not doing this causally and need to do so for test prep.
In addition, recognition while reading and your own recall or usage while writing are two different modes of having learned a word, meaning, learning for the purpose of writing requires deeper processing and more effort/practice over time.
For years, I've been keeping documents of word lists (one for "standard," more universal words and another for insults, slang, or idiomatic, or otherwise dialectical/regional language) I learn while reading for my own reference, and I find using interesting words in the appropriate contexts helps me retain them.

Gonna be real, as one of the few people I know that habitually types in regular case in text chats, I love capitalization. I love the STYLE it can add, such as EMPHASIS. I love names of things and people with specific stylized capitalization, like LEGO BIONICLE or maia arson crimew. I love that you can mock people by tYpInG tHeIr WoRdS bAcK aT tHeM lIkE tHiS. I love how typingwordsallbuncheduplikethisreallymakesithardtotellwherewordsstopandendUntilYouStartCapitalizingEachOne. I love that proper nouns are capitalized in English (unless overridden by stylistic lowercase), but ALL nouns in German are capitalized. I love how If You Capitalize Every First Letter It Makes Your Writing Sound Like Every Word Is Emphasized And Stochastically Rhythmed.
Capitalization can do so much. I love using it and checking when to use it or not. Has my propensity for capitalization and usage of more complex wordage more typical of a college essay made some people think I'm stiff, unfunny, or full of myself? Sure, but they were just projecting their own feelings on language onto me, I don't let it bother me anymore because I know why I speak and write the way I do, it's because it's what's comfortable and just how I work. Hell, at this point, how I write just feels distinctly Me, you know? I do my own thing, that's why I have no problem double-spacing after sentences; it's how I was taught to write papers, and I was writing school essays long before I was actually communicating online. Writing doesn't look right without that extra space for sentences to breathe to me.
Anyway, what was this post about?

I am genuinely disappointed in you and what I have seen come from you recently. Not a single word in that address was used to discuss the fact that you were encouraging people who you have regularly talked to, to use slurs on people you personally dislike. This user was doubling down on the usage of slurs to describe people you have had disagreements with in the past. No, I do not find it cute or funny that you have chosen to do this to people you disagree with.
It's stochastic racism and I expected better. You actively liked over 3 posts that claimed that antiwhiteness existed, from someone who used slurs. That's not something to sneeze at. And for a blog this big, you should know better.
"the fact that you were encouraging people who you have regularly talked to, to use slurs on people you personally dislike"
That's... a bold statement. Encouraging... really??? I did not encourage anyone to use slurs. Or go at people I had disagreements with.
I either do that myself - or block by now.
But, the whole thing is interesting, isn't it.
It literally starts on my post, here, with that interpretation of "they" - as a stand in for POCs. And then it kinda spirals out of control for a bit on the other blog. With a lot of anons, lot of heated words.
I encourage you to not just read what someone else put together so nicely to fit "their" argumentation. It always starts somewhere, and the way things are spun is important. And no, that does not mean I agree with everything.
"... to describe people you have had disagreements with"
Really? You're ... conflating that group (that I definitely had disagreements with) with the general public? Or, even better, as the only representation of certain people? Black people I'm guessing? HOLY HELL, someone tell my mutuals!!! I'm sure some of them, who had also had run-ins with that group, would be interested to learn of that assessment.
It's interesting that people focus on what I liked, and not on the status, or what I say. It's also interesting to see that they prefer to believe an interpretation by people who have stated to hate me, and who have done this same shit before.
So no, it isn't cute, or funny. It's disappointing, that much we can agree on. But then it's been disappointing for a while now, and this is only the last, sad example of a campaign that is literally stomped up by certain people's interpretation... of removed likes.
Go figure.
And don't even make me get into the stalking aspects of tracking that.

Just so that people are also aware - these aren’t new issues. They have been known about for a significant number of years (5+) at this point. Longer if you count machine learning and software development in general. Google Deepmind created an artificial intelligence ethics unit board, (privately in existence since the mid 2010s, publicly since 2017) to understand multiple risks surrounding the use of AI technology. You would think this was a good thing. So what did they find? Timmit Gebru and Emily Bender, the leading Google ethics advisor and a computational linguistics professor respectively, helped co-author a paper called “On the Dangers of Stochastic Parrots: Can Language Models Be Too Big?“. Some of the key points include:
“In accepting large amounts of web text as ‘representative’ of ‘all’ of humanity we risk perpetuating dominant viewpoints, increasing power imbalances, and further reifying inequality.“
“In all cases, the voices of people most likely to hew to a hegemonic viewpoint are also more likely to be retained. In the case of US and UK English, this means that white supremacist and misogynistic, ageist, etc. views are overrepresented in the training data, not only exceeding their prevalence in the general population but also setting up models trained on these datasets to further amplify biases and harms.”
“BERT, ELMo, GPT and GPT-2 encode more bias against identities marginalized along more than one dimension than would be expected based on just the combination of the bias along each of the axes [ 54, 132]. Many of these works conclude that these issues are a reflection of training data characteristics.”
“...model auditing techniques typically rely on automated systems for measuring sentiment, toxicity, or novel metrics such as ‘regard’ to measure attitudes towards a specific demographic group [119]. But these systems themselves may not be reliable means of measuring the toxicity of text generated by LMs. For example, the Perspective API model has been found to associate higher levels of toxicity with sentences containing identity markers for marginalized groups or even specific names [61,103].“
It also talks about issues surrounding energy usage for large models and how environmentally friendly they are. Definitely take a read.
So what happened to Timmit? She was fired from her job. This was against a backdrop of mass protest within Google itself, with petitions and public calls for her work to be recognised by more than 1200 of her own colleagues.
If you’re interested in knowing more about AI hype - Timmit is still very active in AI ethics and runs the Distributed AI Research Institute (DAIR). They do a Twitch stream with researchers and guest speakers to highlight the tech industry’s bullshit every so often called the Mystery AI Hype Theater 3000 which I’d very much recommend: https://www.twitch.tv/dair_institute
The key takeaway here is that AI companies are aware of these problems - they simply aren’t interested in doing anything about them. Keep that in mind when using these tools.
This is why it is so important to be critical and double check everything you generate using image generators and text-based AI.

profitable forex scalping strategy
Introduction
https://secretindicator.com/product/powerful-true-mt4-scalping-indicator/
Telegram channel
Scalping is one of the most popular and aggressive trading strategies in the forex market. Traders using this method aim to extract small profits from price movements by entering and exiting the market within minutes or even seconds. The MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform provides the perfect environment for scalpers due to its customizability, wide range of indicators, and real-time execution capabilities. In this 3000-word guide, we will explore the most profitable forex scalping strategy, particularly focusing on non-repaint indicators, entry/exit techniques, and how to manage risk for consistent profits.
What is Forex Scalping?
Forex scalping is a strategy that involves making dozens or even hundreds of trades per day to take advantage of small price movements. The main goal is to accumulate a large number of small wins, which add up over time to a significant profit.
Key Characteristics of Scalping:
Short Trade Duration: Most trades last from a few seconds to several minutes.
High Trade Volume: Scalpers often execute multiple trades in a single session.
Low Pip Targets: Each trade typically targets 5 to 20 pips.
Tight Spreads: Works best with low-spread pairs such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD.
Why Use Scalping?
Advantages:
Frequent Opportunities: Constant action in the market.
Less Exposure: Short trades reduce overnight risks.
Compounding Gains: Small profits accumulate fast.
Disadvantages:
High Stress: Rapid decisions required.
Broker Limitations: Not all brokers allow scalping.
Requires Focus: Continuous screen time.
Most Profitable Scalping Indicators on MT4
For scalping to be successful, traders must use indicators that provide timely and accurate signals. The following are some of the best non-repaint indicators for scalping:
1. Precision Trend Indicator
Type: Trend-following
Signal: Arrow-based
Why It's Profitable: Provides non-repaint signals with high accuracy (win rate over 80% on M5/M15 charts).
2. RSI (Relative Strength Index)
Type: Momentum Oscillator
Signal: Overbought (>70) / Oversold (<30)
Usage: Confirm entry signals from other indicators.
3. EMA Crossover System
Type: Moving Averages
Signal: Buy when fast EMA crosses above slow EMA, and vice versa.
Recommended EMAs: 5 EMA and 20 EMA on M5 chart.
4. Stochastic Oscillator
Type: Momentum
Signal: Crosses of %K and %D lines
Best For: Spotting reversals in ranging markets.
Profitable Forex Scalping Strategy Blueprint
Strategy Overview:
This strategy combines Precision Trend with RSI and EMA indicators. It focuses on short-term momentum aligned with broader trends to avoid false signals.
Timeframe:
M5 (5-minute) or M15 (15-minute)
Currency Pairs:
EUR/USD
GBP/JPY
USD/CHF
Entry Rules:
Trend Confirmation: Precision Trend shows a buy/sell arrow.
Momentum Check: RSI > 50 (for Buy), RSI < 50 (for Sell)
EMA Confirmation: 5 EMA is above 20 EMA (Buy), or below (Sell)
Exit Rules:
Stop Loss: 5 to 10 pips
Take Profit: 10 to 20 pips or opposite Precision Trend signal
Real Examples (Backtested Results)
Example 1 – EUR/USD M5
Buy Signal: Arrow from Precision Trend, RSI at 55, EMA crossover confirmed
Entry Price: 1.1010
Exit Price: 1.1025
Pips Gained: +15
Example 2 – GBP/JPY M15

Entry Price: 183.40
Exit Price: 183.25
Pips Gained: +15
Managing Risk in Scalping
Without proper risk control, even the most accurate strategy can fail. Here's how to manage risk effectively:
1. Position Sizing:
Risk only 1-2% of your capital per trade.
2. Use a Trade Manager EA:
Automatically set SL/TP and trailing stop.
3. Avoid Trading News:
Use an economic calendar to avoid high-impact news events.
4. Stick to a Daily Target:
Stop trading after reaching your goal (e.g., 50 pips or 3% growth).
Tips to Maximize Scalping Profitability
Choose Low Spread Brokers: Raw spread or ECN accounts recommended.
Use VPS for Speed: Improves execution times.
Trade During High Liquidity: London and New York overlaps are best.
Stick to One Strategy: Master one setup before experimenting.
Scalping Psychology
Scalping demands extreme discipline and mental focus. To succeed:
Stay calm under pressure.
Avoid revenge trading.
Follow your plan without exception.
Final Thoughts
A profitable forex scalping strategy must combine high-quality, non-repaint indicators with strict discipline and proper risk management. The combination of Precision Trend, RSI, and EMA offers an edge that’s both actionable and adaptable.
Remember:
Backtest before going live.
Always use a demo account first.
Use alerts to avoid screen fatigue.
If applied correctly, this strategy can deliver consistent profits even in fast-paced forex environments.

What Is Time Series Analysis and Why Is It So Important Now?
In today’s data-driven world, time series analysis plays a crucial role in uncovering patterns across time-based data. From predicting financial markets to forecasting weather conditions, this analytical approach enables deeper insights by focusing on data collected over intervals of time. We explore the foundational principles that drive these complex systems—connecting theory with real-world application.
Why Is It So Important Now?
The importance of time series analysis has surged with the rise of big data and AI. Industries now collect more granular data than ever, making time-based insights essential for strategic decision-making. Whether it's monitoring energy usage, tracking consumer behavior, or analyzing sensor data in engineering, understanding temporal patterns has become a necessity, not a luxury.
From Stochastic Processes to Temporal Insight
We delve into the mathematical backbone of time series data: stochastic processes, ensemble statistics, and their temporal counterparts. These concepts allow us to model randomness and periodicity in real-world signals—unlocking patterns that remain invisible to traditional analysis.
Final Thoughts
Time series analysis is no longer reserved for academics. It’s now at the heart of innovation in fields like finance, healthcare, climate science, and technology. By grounding our approach in strong theoretical frameworks, We empowers professionals and researchers to make sense of time like never before.

Article Title: ‘You just hope for the best’: rarely seen froglets – the length of a grain of rice – released into small patch of Victorian wilds Source: Stock, Petra. The Guardian. March 6, 2025. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/mar/07/endangered-baw-baw-frogs-set-free-victoria
To aid with tracking, adult Baw Baw frogs were released fitted with radio transmitters attached to a small belt around their hips. Photograph: Zoos Victoria
Zoos Victoria released 3,000 critically endangered Baw Baw frogs into forest on Baw Baw plateau. Zoos Victoria has the largest captive breeding program for the species. There were only about 500 individuals left in the wild. The young froglets are only about the size of a grain of rice, and the 40 adults released are only 6cm long.
The Baw Baw frogs have suffered a 98% loss in numbers due to a disease called the chytrid fungus. They are also threatened by logging and climate change. Baw Baw frogs are only found in a very limited habitat range and are specialists - two factors that make them especially vulnerable to extinction. They lay comparatively few eggs, and take 4-6 years to reach sexual maturity.
A trial release done by the Zoo showed that their captive bred frogs were capable of survival in the wild. Due to the size of the frogs and their nature to hide under leaf litter, finding them is very difficult. The 40 released adults were fitted with tiny radio transmitters to aid researchers in monitoring their survival and population spread. Additionally, trained wildlife tracking dogs taught to sniff out the Baw Baw frogs assist researchers in locating them. The newly released population will be surveyed in October, when the males will be calling.
The Baw Baw frogs conservation story is an example of the vulnerability of a small, specialized species. The losses to the species from disease may be an example of Environmental Stochasticity - which are larger problems for smaller populations, especially populations that have no metapopulations like the Baw Baw frog. Species based conservation was used to create a goal for preserving the frog, based on its vulnerability. They used captive breeding to reintroduce the species.
Although I do think each and every species is valuable and worth trying to save, I wonder how much funding and work has gone into this one small frog, considering the usage of tiny transmitters and captive breeding of more than 3,000 of them. What ecological role do the frogs play, and how does the ecosystem change with their presence vs their absence? Does restoring the Baw Baw frog impact many other species on the plateau?

Some benefits of stochastic printing:
Improved image quality — Stochastic screening offers more life-like tonal representations and a broader CYMK colour gamut. You get finer details, smoother tones, and a continuous appearance that almost looks like the original image.
Sharpness and detail — This technique prevents the “whiteness” of the printing paper from bleeding through the ink. Also, there is sharper edge definition and enhanced stabilization in high-speed printing.
Ink control — Stochastic screening results in up to 10% less ink usage than traditional screen printing, resulting in improved color saturation and accuracy and more consistent ink coverage throughout each job.
Reduction in visible dot patterns — These imperfections are typically more noticeable in traditional halftone printing, which reduces the overall quality of the finished product.
the idea of repetitive printing and how do halftones change between each?

"The Credo." From the Gospel of Saint John, 5: 36-45.
Testimonies or Credos are instruments used to draw what are called line between the earth and the heavens, the soles of the feet, woof! and the hair on the head, the base of the spine and the crown.
The next section of the Gospel of John is Credo: specifically what to believe and how:
Say:
36 “I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish—the very works that I am doing—testify that the Father has sent me.
37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, 38 nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent.
39 You study[c] the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.
41 “I do not accept glory from human beings, 42 but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.
43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.
44 How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God[d]?
45 “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”
Once again Jesus says we have to know what Moses wrote and set our hopes upon that: Freedom of all men from tyranny, oppression, delusion, poverty, homelessness, loneliness, saturation in the Sooth of the Spirit. These are observed in preparation for acceptance of the Water of Life, the Spirit of Cheerfulness.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 36: I have testimony the Father has sent. The Number is 11278, יאבזח, ya bazah, "Yea, to that..."
v. 37-38: The One you do not believe in. The Number is 11582, ביאהה "come to me House of Israel."
v. 39-40: You refuse to come to me. The Number is 12554, יבההד "the echoes of Joseph."
v. 41-42: You do not have the love of God in your hearts. The number is 8435, חדגה, khadga, "high brow." =
To climb the stochastic progression of the Torah, which is often explained as an upward spiral staircase or a suspension bridge, or the meristem of a flowering plant:
The root גבע (gb') isn't used as verb in the Bible but according to BDB Theological Dictionary (and the usage of this verb in cognate languages) it must have meant something like to be convex, projecting or high. Its derivatives are:
The feminine noun גבעה (gib'a), meaning hill as lower than a mountain (Exodus 17:9), or in poetry mentioned in parallel with mountains (Deuteronomy 33:15, Isaiah 2:2), a hill as symbol for majesty or eternity (Genesis 49:26, Habakkuk 3:6), a hill explicitly as center of worship (1 Kings 14:23, Jeremiah 2:20). Named hills are:
גבעת המורה (gib'at hamore), Hill of Moreh (Judges 7:1).
גבעת הערלות (gibe'at h'arlot), Gibeath-haaraloth (Joshua 5:3).
גבעה האלהים (gib'a h'elohim), Hill of Elohim (1 Samuel 10:5).
גבעה החכילה (gib'a hahakila), Hill of Hachilah (1 Samuel 23:19, 26:1-3).
גבעה אמה (gib'a 'amma), Hill of Ammah (2 Samuel 2:24).
גבעה הלבונה (gib'a halebona), Hill of Frankincense, which is probably a perfectly acceptable erotic term, see our article on myrrh (Song of Solomon 4:6).
גבעה גרב (gib'a gareb), Hill Gareb (Jeremiah 31:39).
גבעה ירושלם (gib'a yerushalem), Hill of Jerusalem (Isaiah 10:32), which is comparable to חר־ציון (har-sion; Mount Zion, also see Isaiah 31:4).
The masculine noun גביע (gabia'), meaning cup or bowl (Genesis 44:12, Exodus 25:34, Jeremiah 35:5).
The feminine plural noun מגבעות (migba'ot), meaning turban (Exodus 28:40, Leviticus 8:13).
The masculine noun גבעל (gib'ol), meaning bud (Exodus 9:31 only).
v. 43-44: Accept one who comes in his own name. The Number is 11832, יאחגב, yahagav, "report it back."
All reports or Credos in the religion of the Jewish people are declarations of independence. We the people in all the nations, everywhere on this planet are either being tyrannized or about to and need to stand up to our captors:
v. 45-46. If you believe in Moses, believe in me. We know the Jews of Rome believed in both. The Number is 12819, יבחאט, "you will be judged as one."
v. 47. How are you going to believe what I say? The Number is 8458, איך דהך, ch dahach, "how faded."
=
Complete the legacy.
"The difficult noun רפאים (repai'm) refers to the "sunken ones," i.e. ghosts or shadows of people that are no longer alive. This is probably best understood as the waning legacy of foregone generations that still influence and shape our world today, even though the members of that generation are dead, inert and decomposing in the ground."
Jesus wanted to reestablish the Kingdom of Israel as a free independent state. For this He suggested all Jewish people stop being Christians and for Christians to convert and follow the Words of Moses ad infinitum. This is the Credo of all Jewish people.

Baccarat Game
Baccarat is a game Since you should be aware of by now. You may easily win thousand of dollars, as well as lose be overly susceptible to your. This is one of reasons. While the house edge will not change and you will hold a drawback, you will be assisted by usage of these systems with things: you may restrict your losses that are potential by executing a stop loss. You will be overly susceptible to your would like to win and quit. You will be concentrating on what gambling system advices, thus you won't gets stressed out by letting their emotions.
Each of these are vital and is in fact what explains the differentiation between an addicted gambler, and a participant, who plays for fun, that gets stressed out by letting their betting affects. How a the Baccarat tables and how can it most likely the worlds most famous gambling system. Martingale indicated that gambler must double his bet, each time. Martingale accumulated a big popularity and appeared do before it is possible to make it people who advocated it.
Do you use Martingale in the Baccarat tables and how can it work? There are things you should which will probably make you to quit the work gambling units 1 Unit must represent the amount you are searching to wager. This sum shouldnt exceed 1% of your bankroll, so if you've will be an excellent start. Consider how far you'd like to acquire this should be a sum, which will probably make you to quit the tables. Implement a stop loss. Your stop Loss shouldnt be your whole gambling bank, as thats how it's for people with a gambling addiction.
Remember, always bet on the participant as it features lower house advantage than the banker, thus giving a far better chances to win. In addition, at any time avoiding TIE bets or any other bets than precisely the banker and precisely the participant. Other bets are meant for gamblers genius so as to be using this system in the of winning are just horrible! - So to begin using Martingale, you take a seat wager $40 on the participant and lose - You wager $80 on the participant and Bingo! , you win! You receive a payout of $80 and a net profit of $10! You.
Now, Martingale recommends doubling the bets on genius so as to be using this system in the regrettably, you lose again. You bet $40 on the participant and lose - You wager $80 on the participant and Bingo!, one win! You get a payout of $80 and a net profit of $10! You do not need to be a mathematics genius in order to be using that this system at the tables.
Baccarat Betting
These tips are for baccarat players that are looking to use a strategy to increase their odds of winning, and they apply specifically to the game as played in an online casino, rather than the real life game. They apply to gamblers using system or a strategy than to baccarat play. There are no tricks here. Check the odds. It may seem obvious, but prior to playing the chances available for the baccarat stakes are right. I've seen a few casinos charging 25, although the commission deduction on Banker stakes is 5%. Less than 5% will be offered by some places also, which is ideal, so watch out for those.
The odds on the Player bet ought to be evens. That never varies. The Tie bet is 8 to 1, which is obviously value and should be avoided. Always Bet the Player - Most baccarat tips will say to wager the Banker bet, since it is slightly better chances than the player wager. For players following a strategy this is bad advice. When you are using a strategy you need to always bet the player wager. The slightly lower than evens payout on banker bets will cause an issue in progressive systems. Of the, for instance, lets look until they hit a win of doubling up after every loss, the system.
This is just for demonstration purposes. This hypothethical player is gambling $10 on the bank and doubling the previous bet till they hit a win. Lets say this player takes 4 losses in on a row, and wins with that the 5th hand. That's not at all unlikely. The first four losing stakes are for $10, then $20, then $40 and after that $80, totalling $150 staked and lost.
The following wager on that the banker hand is for $160 and thankfully it wins. The total payout $160 bet plus $160 triumph is $320, less 5% commission, that suggests the player gets back $304. The total stakes were $10 + $20 + $40 + $80 + $160 that comes to $310. So even if that the player finally won his bet, it resulted in a net reduction on that sequence of $6. A similiar run of losses while gambling that the player hand would have given that the anticipated 1 unit of profit, that's $10. Quit when you're ahead - This goes contrary to that the Stick to that the Rules tip listed below, but it's good advice nonetheless. Prior to starting your session to understand what you can reasonably expect to triumph with your strategy.

Bradley Baker, ASA, and daniel Lee, who hopes earn his ASA designation shortly. They were interviewed by claude Penland. Why did you choose to be an actuary? Similar to actuaries, we were drawn by a passion for mathematics and statistics. Being an actuary is a way to place our abilities to work solving issues that are challenging and intriguing. How does what you do now fit in to what you do\/did as an actuary? Prior to joining the gambling world, we were both retirement actuaries at a large consulting firm. There is a large amount of overlap and in the job we do as gambling actuaries.
For one, a lot apply to supporting and construction a game's mathematics models. From a test standpoint, pension actuaries will find while gambling actuaries will discover Exam C to be of importance, that life contingencies are present in their work. What did you learn since an actuary which may assist you? Importantly, the examinations supplied us to construct and validate the models behind our games. The upper level actuarial examinations place an essential focus on using reliable data and setting reasonable and appropriate assumptions, that has proved very useful in our work as gaming actuaries. The actuarial control cycle which actuaries are introduced to in your Fundamentals of Actuarial Practice modules provides an ideal frame for the models that we make for our games.
The rigor that's expected in traditional actuarial job also is required in the gambling sphere. The work of pension actuaries frequently is subject for review by a regulator, and your same holds true for the job we do in gambling. What mathematical studies at college do you recommend to those who wants for get into what you perform or other nontraditional outlets? In our opinion, studying actuarial science will prepare you well to a career as a gambling actuary. Take as many math, probability, statistics, and programming classes as you can. Some classes at corporate finance and economics also will be useful.
What're your plans for the future? There are few actuaries at this space, and we hope for have a long career as gambling actuaries. As the industry evolves, there's an expectation that games will become increasingly more complicated. New slot machine games are starting for incorporate elements of skill that require well thought out hypotheses and stochastic modeling. The mathematical models supporting games are getting increasingly more challenging to solve. Eventually, we hope to be pioneering a brand new field for the actuarial profession. Please take me through a number of real life scenarioschallenging gambling related to things which you and Bradley had to work through. Our day-to day job requires us to construct mathematical models for a specific electronic or lottery match based online a concept approved by our Creative Committee and also to monitor actual results collected from your field that we use for validate our models.

i feel like i see the phrase “stochastic terrorism” all the time on twitter, and i have the impulse to shuffle its colloquial usage into the same mental cabinet bin as “dog whistle”. you get into really dodgy territory rhetorically when you start disembodying intent.
there was a scientific american piece that came out around the time the david depape/paul pelosi thing happened, which argued that a tucker carlson interview with chris rufo about drag queen story hour was what motivated depape. i don’t follow. the only cursory connection you can make there is that dqsh started in san francisco, and sf is pelosi’s district. but it’s not just a san francisco thing.
like, i don’t know, every time i see this used, it tends to be a bit conspiracy brained.
