One side effect of studying piano pedagogy is that whenever I watch a show or movie or video where someone is sitting at the piano and they're supposed to be a relatively experienced musician, I am obligated to be insufferable about their hand and body position. working all the time means you don't get to go out very often, so you're in awe when Childe brings you to an expansive field of flowers, gently tugging on your hand so you follow him. you flop down in the grass and he follows suit, rolling in his side to look at you and brush his claws against your hair. there's flowers caught up in his fluff, and you laugh when he shakes his head and sneezes, before delicately tucking a flower behind your ear. you stay until sundown and beyond, watching the twinkling stars emerge in the night and connecting them into constellations, until finally you drift off against Childe's chest into deep sleep
