␥ list of things i’ve successfully manifested !

i discovered manifestation and the law around early 2022 and here's what i have manifested since then! this might not be much but this is to remind me that i am capable of anything and everything!

𖥻 1. clearer skin

i used to have a terrible breakout on the right side of my face + oily skin. now my skin is much better and less oily! i do not have acne anymore.

𖥻 2. weight loss ( 14 kgs )

i went from 69 kgs to 55 kgs in around two months with minimal exercise ( walking ) & a simple diet.

𖥻 3. height increase ( 11cm )

i used to be 150cm but not anymore lol. i got better proportions too!

𖥻 4. text messages & instant replies from people.

i also manifested message from a friend i was no longer in contact with.

𖥻 5. passing exams i thought i was going to fail

accountancy was my weakest subject but i manifested passing several tests and exams. i also manifested getting better in it!

𖥻 6. getting above average % board exams

board examinations are a big deal in my country and i, unfortunately, ended in a stream i was not interested in. i manifested getting ~80% in them despite getting way lesser in school examinations.

𖥻 7. food

one single thought turned into an assumption and i am having whatever i want for dinner!

𖥻 8. storage of my phone increasing

i only have 32gb of storage in my phone lol. so sometimes i have to clear app caches to make space, but not anymore.

𖥻 9. love confession

i simply wanted a love confession and i got it. as easy as it gets.

𖥻 10. an increament in my mom’s salary & money for myself

my mom really wanted an increament and i manifested it! she got increament of 5.5k! also manifested a bonus for her. + got gift money from my parents and relatives!

𖥻 11. letting go of & detaching from several people

i used to be attached some people that hurt me but not anymore. i have let go of them and it feels so much better.

𖥻 12. books & manga ( jjk )

my mom is not the type to let me spend money on buying books ( for leisure reading ), much less a comic book. but i manifested her allowing me to buy 4 books + 1 manga volume! she even paid for them.

𖥻 13. delaying the start of my college, teachers & professors taking leaves, not getting scolded for submitting assignments late

my college was supposed to start from early june but i manifested a delay and it started from mid-july. i have manifested both school teachers and college professors taking leaves on my desired days.

𖥻 14. nice aura + compliments

i have a magnetic aura, people feel comfort around me and i get so many compliments about literally everything i do!

𖥻 15. quick deliveries of my orders

𖥻 16. winning an elocution competition

i was really worried because i only found about it a day before and some other contestants had been trained by their professors. i was full of nerves but still won the first rank! the judges said my content was unique and everything i did was perfect.

manifested myself big upturned eyes with pretty lashes & a v-shaped face with smooth skin!

𖥻 18. cats loving me

call me a cat whisperer the way cats love me! i can easily befriend any cat!!! ˃ᴗ˂

i really wanted vitamin c serum and face cleanser and sometime later i saw an ad with an offer to get both for 1 rupee! crazy right?

𖥻 20. entering the void on several occasions.

i have entered the void several times albeit unaware. recently i've started becoming aware before snapping out of it!

Welcome to the donahdevotee's gift exchange, the event where selfshippers get to celebrate their fem f/o's and share their creativity with one another! (Sign up form is at the bottom of this post, please read through the guidelines before signing up!)

This gift exchange will cover art, writing and moodboards! So if you're not inclined towards art or writing you can still participate to share some love for other people's ships and have some love given to your own! On that note; all skill levels are welcome, as long as you're giving it your all, you're welcome to join!

Obviously the very basic requirement is to have a fem f/o! Your ship with her can be romantic, platonic, familial, queerplatonic, fwb, what have you! Every ship is welcome and so is every fem f/o! (If you headcannom your f/o as fem in any way, she is welcome as well!!)

GUIDELINES:

Art must comply with the rules of tumblr. A width of at least 540px wide, max file size is 20MB, please keep that in mind! If you’re drawing nsft art for your Giftee (You both must be 18+, minors are only allowed to create sfw works) you should censor it to post it. You can send the uncensored art to your Giftee!

Fics must be at minimum 500 words, no cap on the maximum however, go wild! (If you want to make a graphic to go with your fic, go for it! But it’s not mandatory <3)

Aesthetics/Moodboards should have a minimum of 4 graphics/images. You can make multiple for your giftee if you'd like! (Be considerate of eyestrain and/or flashing/etc. if using gifs!)

If you wish to back out at any point please let us know as soon as possible so we can work on a backup gift for your giftee, try not to leave it until the last day of the event!

Content that is NOT allowed: Self harm, Non-Con, Incest, Minors doing anything even remotely sexual, Pedophilia, Bestiality, Racist depictions or Fetish content.

Content that IS allowed: Anything else your Giftee has stated they’d enjoy. Character death and gore is allowed, smut is allowed. Everything MUST be tagged appropriately. If you aren’t sure; tag it!

Please vote for whichever animal you think is cuter, not whichever one you like more.

Any species that is classified as an animal is eligible. It doesn't have to be a vertebrate! It doesn't have to be conventionally attractive either!

It does, however, need to have at least one photo on the internet of it in a juvenile state. You don't have to include a photo in your submission, but if I can't find one, it will be disqualified.

The definition of "baby" in this case is somewhat subjective; something might have peak baby vibes when it's an adolescent vs a newborn. Use your own judgment, and I will use mine. Clearly adult animals are NOT eligible. If you think an adult parakeet is cuter than the baby, well...that sucks, because I'm going to post a picture of the baby!

Please be as specific as possible with the species and/or breed name, e.g. harbor seal or phoca vitulina instead of just seal; great dane instead of just dog.

If more than one person submits an animal, I may not use your photo. I'll choose the cutest one!

The boring stuff/Deadlines: 1)  You have until (Sunday) October 20 at 1 AM EST to sign up. I’ll also be posting regular updates so follow bravelysanta at Twitter/Tumblr/Bluesky.

2) On the afternoon of October 20th, you will receive an email with the name of the person that you’ll be gifting via Sneaky Santa.

I will check-in a couple of times between mid-Nov and early-Dec. Please use these check-ins as opportunities to tell me if you need help!

3) Gifts are due anytime between December 22nd - 29th. If you will not be able to post it during that time, submit/msg me beforehand and I’ll post it for you.

4) If you think you may not meet the deadline, please contact me immediately and no later than December 21st. But please don’t sign up if you know your availability will be iffy in the first place.

5) If signing up as a pinch-hitter, those will be due by Jan 1st.

Guidelines:

1) If you must cancel your application, please notify me immediately either via email (fairyglowcharm @ gmail) or the bravelysanta accounts, preferably before assignments are chosen on Oct 22. If you find you cannot meet the gifting deadline and need an extension, please also notify me before Dec 21st. 

2) When filling out your name on the Sneaky Santa website, please include your social media handle (either Tumblr or Twitter/Bluesky), so your Santa knows how to @ you. Example - Koma (komatsujo). 

3) Remember that you are gifting a present to someone, and be prepared to spend at least some time on it. No one likes a last-minute gift!

4) Both fanart and fanfic are accepted as submissions. Santees, do not specifically request one or the other.

5) No AI generated art or fanfiction is allowed. The point of this is to create something for someone. Everyone of all talent levels is invited to join, to share the love of Bravely.

6) If you know there is a game, character, or ship that you don't wish to create content about, please indicate that in the last question of the form. I will do my best to exclude pairing you up with someone who is requesting a gift regarding those items, but please understand that I can't make promises if wishlists are not filled out.

7) Please try to complete your wishlists before Oct 20th for these reasons.

8) When creating your wishlists, please do not specifically request fanart or fanfic (example: do not request specifically fanart of the Crystal Crew as kids, instead of requesting something like “I would love to see the Crystal Crew as kids, doing something cute”). However, you should have more than 1 item on your wishlist. Please try to have 3-5 different items so your Santa has some freedom! 

9) Specifically requesting shippy gifts is allowed, but no NSFW material, either in wishlists or presents. This is mostly about smut, but also be mindful with gore and violence.  

10) Your wishlist and present MUST include Bravely themes or characters, such as Bravely Default 1 or 2, Bravely Second, Fairy’s Effect, Brilliant Lights, Praying Brage, etc. With the presence of Bravely characters in Octopath: COTC, Octopath characters + Bravely characters is allowed, though please be mindful of spoilers for the Octopath games. Same applies to other Team Asano games. 

11) Please try to keep your assignments private! Talk about them with friends in DM all you want, but if someone can find out that you’re their Santa on social media, that ruins the surprise!

This exchange is open to anyone aged 18+ (by the time sign-ups open) with an AO3 account! 

We recommend following us on Tumblr (@hssrarepairs) or joining our Discord, although it is not required.

As this is a gift exchange, you will make a gift for someone and receive at least 2 gifts in return (possibly more!).

This exchange is focused on HP rare pairs. That means any HP ship that is not a common ship. The excluded common ships: Dramione, Drarry, Harmony, Harrymort/Tomarry, Hinny, Jegulus, Jily, Romione, Snamione, Snarry, and Wolfstar. 

Polyships of any kind are welcome! Trans, non-binary, and GNC characters are welcome! As are non-human characters and other character variations. 

The main ship should be a HP rare pair involving established characters from canon. Common ships or OCs may appear in the background of works as long as they are not the main focus.

We highly encourage being open to trying new ships for this exchange. It will make matching easier, and you never know what amazing ships you may discover!

This exchange is anonymous! Please do not share details about your works outside a limited number of alpha/beta/cheer/sensitivity readers until after Creator Reveals on Dec 30.

✦ Let's Celebrate Raijinshuu Day!

October is almost here, and that means it's almost time for the first annual RAIJINSHUU DAY! A day to celebrate Freed, Evergreen, and Bickslow as the amazing characters and team they are!

All too often they are overlooked as fodder or nothing more than Laxus’ personal cheer squad— but they are so much more than that!��Each of them are unique, strong, and loyal members of Fairy Tail, and their admiration for Laxus shouldn’t take away from the fact that they are also his closest friends.

✦ Why October 8th?

Originally, Raijinshuu Day was planned for Dec. 17th, when FT Vol. 13 was released in Japan. But, after a bit more research, it turns out that October 8th, 2008 is when chapter 106 was first published in Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Titled ‘Harvest Festival,’ this is the chapter that officially introduces the Raijinshuu and pretty much kicks off the Battle of Fairy Tail! October 8th also fits with the canon timeline, as they were revealed a week before the Harvest Festival was set to begin. (Oct. 15th.)

There are two ways to participate. You can either submit your post to this blog or post it to your own. Just make sure to put #RaijinshuuDay in the first five tags of your post! Or feel free to @ this blog just to be safe.

There is no limit to what kind of content you can post, be it fan art, fanfiction, edits, headcanons, etc. There will never be any prompts, so be as creative as you want!

Keep in mind that this day is supposed to be about the Raijinshuu and their team dynamic, so please keep it appropriate. Anything explicitly NSFW or ship-related will NOT be reblogged.

DO NOT steal, trace, or alter anybody else’s work! Plagiarism will not be tolerated. The use of official art for color or edits is fine as long as you credit the original artist/source. (i.e. Hiro Mashima, Kyouta Shibano, etc.)

Basic Outline of How Things Will Go

What will this exchange entail?

Every participant will submit 2-5 requests for a fanwork. Once requests are submitted, people will fight to the death over which prompts they get to fill, and by that I mean they will get to see all the prompt lists, tell me their top five prompt lists, and I will match each participant to a recipient’s prompt list. They will then fill one of the prompts from their recipient’s list, and post it on the posting date. Easy breezy beautiful.

I would prefer participants be over the age of 18, thanks.

What kind of fanworks can I make, and what are the requirements?

Any kind of fanwork is acceptable, so long as it can reasonably fill one of your recipient’s prompts. The requirements for the most mainstream types of fanwork are:

Fic: 500 words

Art: a sketch on unlined paper

Vid: 30 seconds

Poem: two poems

It’s harder to quantify other, more unusual fanworks like crocheted angel true forms. But do you see what I’m going for? Ideally this should be a low stakes exchange. Obviously you can go above and beyond, if you want, but the intent is for things to be pretty chill. The turnaround time is pretty fast, so more labor intensive fanworks may be difficult to pull off.

What does the schedule look like?

Oct 12: prompt lists are due.

Oct 13: masterpost of prompt lists will be released.

Oct 20: prompt list choices are due.

Oct 26: assignments will go out. Start working!!!

Nov 24: fanworks should be completed.

Dec 1: fanworks should be posted.

Analyzing Invention: Some Data for the Inventor's Fair 2023

As a way of introduction, the Inventor's Fair is a Magic: the Gathering card design contest blog here on Tumblr. Each week, a contest is announced and members of the community submit designs throughout the week meeting the design specifications. At the end of the week, a few winners and runner-ups are selected, with commentary given by a series of judges. It's a fun exercise in creativity, one that I have participated since November 2022.

This past week, I decided to go back and compile some data about the blog, from January 1st, 2023 to Dec 2nd, 2023. I got some general data and then did a dive into data on the winners and runners-up. I would have loved to look at data for all of the entrants (on average, 23 each contest), but that was just a little too much for the time I have.

To start, let's look at that general data:

To start off, there have been 48 contests thus far during the year, with 4 more potentially planned (yes, Dec 31st would be the posting date for one of the contests, so it is technically a 2023 contest).

In the above graph, I included a 3-week rolling average as a trendline: basically the average shown for a week is the average of that week with the two weeks preceding).

The highest participation happened from February to mid-May, which corresponds to the Spring Semester in the US school system (my area of experience).

The contest with the greatest number of entrants: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work, which started on April 16 and had 36 entrants.

The contest with the lowest number of entrants: Re:Vision, which was the most recent contest and had only 8 entrants.

Now let's dive into some of the stats around the winners and runners-up:

There have been 50 unique entrants who have been either a winner or a runner-up so far this year. Many entrants have been part of the contests since the beginning of the year. The most recent entrant to have their first win/runner-up was @aethernalstars, in the Nov 12th contest Lost Caverns of Ixalan's Lost Vault.

The entrants with the highest numbers of wins/runners-up so far:

@spooky-bard: 22 total, with 16 wins

@izzet-always-r-versus-u: 16 total, with 10 wins

@nine-effing-hells: 15 total, with 7 wins

@hypexion: 14 total, with 5 wins

(tie) @deg99 and @bread-into-toast: 13 total, with 8 and 7 wins

Congrats to these entrants for some spectacular submissions!

So what makes a winning entry? Mostly the awesome creativity of the entrants, but here are some stats about the cards themselves that I found interesting.

By far the most popular card type was creature (and this includes Artifact Creature and Enchantment Creature submissions). Granted, there were several contests asking for creatures, like Rebels and Dragons. But it is such an overwhelming favorite that I just had to call it out.

As a note on other, I lumped things like planes and phenomenon into a single group, just to keep things simple (since there weren't that many)

Here, there has not been any contests for making cards in a specific color. However, red is a clear favorite among entrants. This is a mix of mono-red and multi-color including red cards. Black, white and blue are all closely tied for the 2nd most popular card, with green being fifth amongst the colors. I included colorless, but that being a low count is to be expected as I looked at color identity instead of cost, so many land submissions were pulled into one of the color categories.

Here, we see that the most common mana value of cards was 3 - 84 cards total! 4 (with 60) and 2 (with 41) came in 2nd and 3rd.

Entrants seem to really like submitting Rares (114 total) and Uncommons (92 total), as they made up almost 75% of all entries. The number for commons will get a small bump from a recent contest that is currently being judged: One for the Money, but nowhere near enough to dethrone the other two.

SO, if you were to submit a card, it seems like the best chance for a winning submission is a red/partially red creature that is rare/uncommon and has a mana value of 3/4. Looks like a Santa Clause card is up for the next few weeks ;)

3) Gifts are due anytime between December 22nd - 29th. If you will not be able to post it during that time, submit/msg me beforehand and I’ll post it for you.

4) If you think you may not meet the deadline, please contact me immediately and no later than December 21st. But please don’t sign up if you know your availability will be iffy in the first place.

5) If signing up as a pinch-hitter, those will be due by Jan 1st.

Guidelines:

1) If you must cancel your application, please notify me immediately either via email (fairyglowcharm @ gmail) or the bravelysanta accounts, preferably before assignments are chosen on Oct 20. If you find you cannot meet the gifting deadline and need an extension, please also notify me before Dec 21st. 

2) When filling out your name on the Sneaky Santa website, please include your social media handle (either Tumblr or Twitter/Bluesky), so your Santa knows how to @ you. Example - Koma (komatsujo).  (Everyone's names/prounouns/social media handles will be posted on a spreadsheet linked on the site, but this makes it easier to find folks.)

3) Remember that you are gifting a present to someone, and be prepared to spend at least some time on it. No one likes a last-minute gift!

4) Both fanart and fanfic are accepted as submissions. Santees, do not specifically request one or the other.

5) No AI generated art or fanfiction is allowed. The point of this is to create something for someone. Everyone of all talent levels is invited to join, to share the love of Bravely.

6) If you know there is a game, character, or ship that you don't wish to create content about, please indicate that in the last question of the form. I will do my best to exclude pairing you up with someone who is requesting a gift regarding those items, but please understand that I can't make promises if wishlists are not filled out.

7) Please try to complete your wishlists before Oct 20th for these reasons.

8) When creating your wishlists, please do not specifically request fanart or fanfic (example: do not request specifically fanart of the Crystal Crew as kids, instead of requesting something like “I would love to see the Crystal Crew as kids, doing something cute”). However, you should have more than 1 item on your wishlist. Please try to have 3-5 different items so your Santa has some freedom! 

9) Specifically requesting shippy gifts is allowed, but no NSFW material, either in wishlists or presents. This is mostly about smut, but also be mindful with gore and violence.  

10) Your wishlist and present MUST include Bravely themes or characters, such as Bravely Default 1 or 2, Bravely Second, Fairy’s Effect, Brilliant Lights, Praying Brage, etc. With the presence of Bravely characters in Octopath: COTC, Octopath characters + Bravely characters is allowed, though please be mindful of spoilers for the Octopath games. Same applies to other Team Asano games. 

11) Please try to keep your assignments private! Talk about them with friends in DM all you want, but if someone can find out that you’re their Santa on social media, that ruins the surprise!
