Dozens of Columbia University students staged a walkout from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's class there on Wednesday in protest of the school’s handling of a truck seen near campus displaying the images of students belonging to groups who signed an anti-Israel statement, a report says.
Roughly 30 students of the class of 300 abruptly stood up and left the room a half hour into the lecture on women’s involvement in peace processes hosted by Clinton and Keren Yarhi-Milo, the dean of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), according to The New York Times.
The students reportedly were demonstrating against the school’s response to a truck that appeared near campus last week broadcasting the message "Columbia’s Leading Antisemites" and showing images of students belonging to groups that had signed a statement claiming that Israel was at fault for the October 7 massacre by Hamas.
The students said the images of their classmates that appeared on the truck had been taken from a private online platform for students at SIPA and demanded that Columbia provide "immediate legal support for affected students" and "a commitment to student safety, well-being and privacy," the newspaper added.
Clinton herself has expressed support for the state of Israel and recently has rejected calls for a ceasefire.
There also were dozens of other protesters who gathered near the lobby of the building where the walkout was unfolding, according to the New York Times. When the class ended, the demonstrators fell silent, expecting Clinton and the dean to walk past them while leaving. But word then spread that the lecturers instead had departed through a side door and avoided the crowd completely, the newspaper adds.
In a message from Yarhi-Milo to students on Tuesday, she wrote "I am deeply disturbed to see that SIPA students and faculty have been subjected to doxxing campaigns.
"I unequivocally condemn such actions and I’m doing everything in my power to bring these activities to an end on our campus and online," she continued. "To that end, I have formed a SIPA Task Force on Doxxing and Student Safety, effective immediately."
PRO-PALESTINIAN GROUP MAY HAVE RAISED MONEY FOR HAMAS, BROKE DONATION LAWS, STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL SAYS
"The SIPA Task Force on Doxxing and Student Safety will play a critical role in making recommendations to the university and local government to protect our students," Yarhi-Milo added. "Specifically, the Task Force will develop recommendations to prevent doxxing, protect the identities and personal information of our students, and develop proposals to reduce tensions among various students and student organizations regarding controversial national or international events that affect our community in New York City."
Last week, Clinton, speaking at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy's 30th-anniversary event, pushed back on activists demanding a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, saying that such an agreement would be a "gift" for the terrorist government.
"People who are calling for a ceasefire now, don’t understand Hamas," Clinton said, according to The Jerusalem Post. "That is not possible."
She continued, "It would be such a gift to Hamas, because they would spend whatever time there was a ceasefire in effect rebuilding their armaments, creating stronger positions to be able to fend off an eventual assault by the Israelis."

jjk men when they're turned on in public
characters: gojo, geto, nanami, toji | fem reader warnings: smut, dry humping, teasing, dirty talk, blowjob they just can't help themselves sometimes... and it doesn't matter that they're in public
GOJO... the first sign is that he gets really clingy. it happens slowly throughout the day until he’s basically leaning onto you and whining nonstop about how much he wants you, how badly he needs it. if you try to ignore him, he moves to stand close to you and starts humping you over his clothes, doing anything to relieve himself even a little bit. “come on, baby,” he practically begs. “let me fuck you… i’m so hard for you already. you know i can make you feel good.” and of course you know; he’s good at sex, just like he’s good at everything else. still, you try to tell him not here, not in public, but he’s relentless and it’s so tempting. he kisses your neck, licks your ear, fondles your chest, and—eventually, you can't help but give in. it’s so fucking hard to resist when you can feel his cock twitching in his pants, rubbing against you. the two of you find a nearby hotel and he doesn’t waste any time in taking off your clothes and pinning you down on the bed. “mm, finally… i've wanted this all day…”
GETO… it’s obvious when he’s turned on because he starts touching you everywhere, hands roaming all over your body and getting more daring as time passes. he hugs you from behind. he "accidently" brushes against your breasts. he grabs your ass as he walks next to you. whenever this happens, you want to tell him to stop, but his touches are always so warm, and they feel so good. he knows every one of your most sensitive spots and he’s not afraid to put this knowledge to use. secretly, you love when he gets all touchy, like he can’t get enough of your body. eventually, when he can’t take it anymore, he leads the two of you into an empty alleyway and makes you bend over, pulling his pants down and thrusting his cock into you. one hand cups your breasts, pinching the nipple, and the other hand covers your mouth. “shh,” he says when your moaning becomes too loud. “i know, baby. it feels good, but you have to be quiet, otherwise people will hear. or do you want everyone to know how well you take my cock?”
NANAMI… he’s usually a private person and keeps these things in the bedroom, but when he does get all hot and bothered in public, it’s because of you. while the two of you spend a day out together, you keep teasing him and pushing his limits simply because you love watching him try to hold himself back—it’s fucking hot. so you dress in revealing clothing, you hint at the dirty things you want to do with him. he maintains a pretty good poker face most of the time, but you can tell that he’s not immune to your seductive tactics by the way he looks at you, gaze darkening with desire over time. it’s not long before he gives in. when the two of you move to sit down, he pulls you onto his lap and grinds against your ass, letting you feel how hard he’s become. he whispers in your ear, “you’re such a naughty girl, aren’t you? it’s like you’re just asking to be punished…” and you know that he’s going to get his revenge by the time you get home.
TOJI… oh boy, he’s completely shameless. he won’t be subtle about it at all, and he wants you to know exactly how horny he is. it doesn’t matter where you are—in line to get food, at the movie theatre, walking around. he won’t hesitate to take your hand and guide it down his body to feel his hard dick over his pants, smirking at you. he makes a point to moan and whisper dirty fantasies to you any chance he gets, watching you get more and more riled up. his goal is to make you turned on too, so aroused that you forget where you are and make the first move. at a restaurant, you’re supposed to be sharing a nice meal together, but you somehow find yourself crawling under the table and unzipping his pants, pulling out his cock to suck him off. you can hear him talking to the waitress as if nothing’s wrong, far too composed. but when he finally stutters, breath hitching and holding back a moan, satisfaction settles in you. he pushes you away before it gets too dangerous and you return to your seat. he tells you, “as much as i would love to spill into your mouth, i want to come inside you today. how about you meet me in the bathroom?” he doesn’t wait for you to answer, getting up and heading toward the back of the restaurant. you follow him, of course. in the end, he returns the favour and fucks you hard in one of the stalls.

Did someone notice in the new Somerton's video that he didn't adress any of the misogyny or transphobia accusations? Like, yeah, he said "people say I hate women but that's not true" and only that. And he also addressed the misinformation, in which we can include the misgendering, but he still didn'h fully talk about this even when those accusations were, along with plagiarism, the most talked about on the internet.
This dude didn't give any reason for why "he doesn't hate" women or trans people, it truly was a "source: dude trust me" and Somerton expects us to believe him, when no, he threw shit on women in every chance he got, he showed transphobia in many times for no fucking reason other than he's got something against women and trans people.
And he also didn't address any of the racism people has pointed out since a long time, but more specially since HBomberguy and Todd's video. This dude only focused on plagiarism, and even that he sucked at since he implied it was an accident. How can you plagiarize on accident?, you have to write, to read, to check what you're doing, he read and Nick's scripts, he must have noticed the copying and still left it with no citation. He said he loves investigating and reading, then he must notice the copying, yet he also said he "didn't notice", like this dude can't recognize he did this on purpose, it was all "an accident".
Also, he just tried shifting the blame, placing it on Nick or, again, like it was an accident and he didn't mean to it. Somerton knew what he was doing, all of us are taught at school, specially college, that plagiarism not only is bad, it it diminishes the quality and credibility of the person that stole those words, it can get you expelled or fired, and let's not forget the people you're hurting by stealing from them, and this case the people whose experiences and words were stolen. Somerton is in a more privileged position than many people in the LGBTQ+ community since he's a cis white man, and yet he decided to attack this way many POC and trans people, not only he stole their words, but he also used racist and transphobic rhetoric, he misgendered, he erased sexualities and put all of us on the same box of "cis straight white women".
"I wanted to make my channel a safe space", yeah, sure man, like saying all the negative things of an MLM media is straight cis women's fault, or misgendering, erasing the bisexuality of a woman or changing "trans" for "queer" is going to make to make your channel a safe for queer women and trans people.
I just deep down know he won't change at all, maybe except for the citations, but we must expect he'll continue being a misogynist racist transphobe dumbass that will keep ignoring this accusations and using the homophobia card.
I really feel sorry if he truly felt so bad he harmed himself and ended up on an hospital, if that's real I hope he gets better and never gets to that point again. Maybe I'm naive, but I want to believe this is not a tactic to manipulate us to forgive him, but... idk, I just expect anything from this man that has used the homophobia card to protect his ass from any criticism.
But talking by myself, as a genderfluid AFAB person who consumes and creates queer content and felt so insulted by his racism, his misogyny and transphobia, and noticing how he avoided the topic, I don't accept his apology and hope he disappears from the internet before he can do any more damage.

Hello there, I found on my tl this post presenting a different view on "baeddelism" from the perspective of a trans woman that claims that she was actually there when the og group existed and explains why the word has become somewhat of a transmisogynistic slur. And I wanted to ask you If you might have any thoughs on this reading of the subject matter?
www.tumblr.com/euniexenoblade/741692501713387520/anyways-baeddel-is-a-slur-against-trans-women
I mean, I think there's merit to the idea that calling people "baeddels" when they don't actually claim to be one themselves is at best counterproductive. The term refers less to A General Ideology, and more to a very specific movement- or, more accurately, two unrelated-but-similar movements that happened in the early/mid 2010's.
There's a term for what folks are usually talking about when they call some random trans woman a "baeddel" when she says she believes trans men oppress trans women: "TIRF", or trans-inclusionary radical feminist. It's a term that was coined by people who call themselves by it, and it's a lot more broad & generally useful here. It doesn't come with ties to a group that dissolved because of sexual assault allegations & rape apologism, and it isn't rooted in an Old English slur, which means it's a lot less charged. It's less likely to get people to shut down or laugh your whole point off because of how clear it is that you aren't listening to or engaging in anything they have to say with good faith.
So yes, I agree, calling random people "baeddels" is not in good taste. Don't do it. "TIRF" exists, it's more accurate, and it's less likely to hurt your argument anyway.
That said.
I take issue with the implication that:
a) Baeddels were tiny and utterly non-influential (therefore all references to them at this point are malicious exaggerations and bogeymen), and
b) Everyone self-describing as a "baeddel" today is actually just reclaiming a slur, exactly like people do with "tranny" and "faggot".
Baeddels (on Tumblr; again, there was a "baeddel" movement on Facebook at the time as well, but it was unrelated and ideologically distinct) were not so small that they had no impact, and to characterize them as widely unpopular- or, worse, influential only in that everyone hated them so much that alt-right bigots immediately revived "baeddel"s original meaning as a slur to in order to victimize all trans women- should immediately ping some alarm bells.
Baeddelism's core ideology centered around the idea that trans women are the most oppressed group, that transmisogyny is the root of all oppression, that trans women are always victimized, never safe, never understood, except around and by exclusively other trans women. This sucks, because there is very real oppression and trauma being preyed on here; trans women are encouraged to be paranoid and distrustful of anyone different from them, and their own experiences with oppression are weaponized against them in order to do so. This should remind you of the recruitment tactics cis radfems use.
That aside, there are some places where baeddelism's influence has been documented: @baeddel-txt is one example. Note that a lot of the posts archived there are recent. Here's one of the original crew, still active and spewing the same shit. Baeddelism has been experiencing something of a renaissance in recent years, too. Here's one of the original (ex-)baeddels talking about it as recently as 2021.
This is not "reclaiming a slur", these people are referring very explicitly to the original ideology & the desire, or observed desire, for that same movement to be brought back in the present day.
Does that make every TIRF-y trans woman a baeddel?
No!
But it is incredibly, and suspiciously disingenuous to deny the harm they caused, the influence they had, and the admiration people still hold for their ideology. And it is downright ahistorical to claim that the term is now, or was at the time that the group was most popular, used genuinely as a slur (sources, I am begging you).
Do not call people "baeddels" unless they're claiming the word for themselves. Do not allow anyone to make you think, even for a moment, that transfeminine people are The Enemy; they do not oppress us, they do not benefit from our oppression, and the vast majority of them are not interested in any kind of lateral violence against us in the first place. They are our allies. Do not forget that they are our allies.
Forgetting that trans people are each other's best allies is what lead to baeddelism in the first place. We need each other. Things can only improve for any of us if we fight for each other. Don't let resentment sabotage you- or hurt our trans siblings.

Hit me with more of Roy conned Jamie into being nice and City is mad about it. I remember the concept and am face pressed against glass!
The basics of the original concept from @jamiesfootball are that Roy accidentally puts Jamie on a niceness points system so they can be friends, wherein Jamie gets to be a dick once for every four times he does something nice, with plenty of shenanigans along the way and everything is fun and hilarious until Jamie gets sent back to City which is when I get to make it sad and dramatic (ie, Jamie spends his nice points on his teammates/Pep/everyone else at City, and his dick points on Sr with the predicted results)
Jamie is an asshole at Richmond, in a way which is pretty well on par with the people around him, except that the narrative frames them well and Jamie poorly. Isaac and Colin do the brunt of the on-screen bullying but we're supposed to blame Jamie because he laughs at it. Roy humiliates Jamie by framing his embarassment as the funniest thing Roy has ever seen except that it's okay because Jamie is an asshole. Ted yells at Jamie for being hurt and unable to train, which is cool because Jamie is "obviously" faking an injury to get back at Ted for benching him.
Basically everything and everyone kind of sucked.
Take him out of that and put him in a functional dressing room with a good coach and lower pressure overall, and I don't think Jamie would behave that way. I don't think he ever behaved that way at City.
So Jamie goes back to City, a place where he never was much of a prick to begin with (except to the opposition team, because that is part of the sport), and has a casual identity crisis in the back of every shot.
He is touch-starved, being very very good, and blatantly and obviously anxiety-ridden, and all of this in ways which he hadn't been the year before.
Someone: *gets tackled kind of rough by someone on the other team* Jamie: Pep put me on put me on I will break his ankles and restore our honour Pep: ... no... ... Jamie are you doing okay? Jamie: Yes Pep all is well and good, I am just using a nice point. Pep: I'm going to think about what that means some other time. Jamie on the inside: oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck
Meanwhile, Jamie is gradually racking up bruises, injuries, and sore spots because he is constantly pushing Sr's buttons so he can pretend that he's still 20% an asshole, and City desperately want to know what Richmond did to their previously nice, normal teammate for him to come back as this clicker-trained attack chihuahua.
(sidenote, I headcanon Jamie as struggling with statistics and numbers games. That he doesn't play FIFA because he worries about how wanting to maximize his ingame stats could negatively affect how he plays in real life. That the only person he's willing to take statistics from are the tactical scouts (a position at a club where you study the upcoming opponent to learn their strategies and tendencies to better prepare the players to face them) because he doesn't want to wind up maximizing his pass completion percentage by no longer taking good risks on through balls or crosses. He's a numbers guy in a way which is sometimes a problem, and is definitely a problem here.)
(a different sidenote, Roy's poor opinion of Jamie was probably a torpedo to his self-confidence. He probably always struggled with both, in some part due to Sr's abuse, but he worshipped Roy. And Roy hated him.)
Hence: an intervention.
Someone, either the captain group (football teams will have ~4 captains with an internal hierarchy, since there has to be a captain on the pitch but no one can actually play every minute of a season) or Pep, sits Jamie down for a chat about how concerned they all are about him and Jamie what is a nice point, what is a prick point, Jamie you were already nice. We already liked you. But right now you're scaring us. You're hurt. Jamie who are you using your prick points on. Jamie? Jamie?

Once Upon A Time I Used To Know A Girl
Chapter 16
Tumblr media
Carol Danvers x Reader
Masterlist | This work's masterlist | AO3
Summary: Upon Fury's request, Carol comes to you with a proposal you can't morally refuse.
Angst, Slow Burn, Amnesia.
Word count: 981
A/N: I really like this chapter and I hope you do too!
Tailored By The Stars
You're in your room minding your business when someone knocks on your door. Your tactical brain starts going through all the possibilities, it can't be Kamala, because she would just walk in, it's not Valkyrie, because she wouldn't wait for an answer after she knocks, Fury doesn't seem to bother with the stairs, you conveniently run out of options and decide to ignore it, but the knocks persist, so you get up to answer them.
You find Carol standing firmly, holding out a card for you, "What's this?" you question.
"An invitation to the next Stark gala." Her expression is flat.
You refuse to take it, "No, thanks."
"We have to go."
"We? Why's that?"
"We already RSVP'd, before the whole-" she doesn't finish her sentence.
"I'll just go on my own."
"Everyone over 18 has to bring a date." She came prepared for your lack of cooperation.
"I'll take Val, then."
"She will out shine you no matter what you decide to wear." You hate to admit it, but she's right so you pull out your ace of spades.
"And why exactly would I go with you?"
"Because I already found the perfect dress to match your favorite suit," she states, matter of factly, "I'll pick you up at 8." And just like that, you run out of options, again.
It's the night of the gala and you're already late getting dressed. You put on your favorite tux, freshly pressed, and manage to get your bow tie right on the fifth try. As much as you're dreading tonight, you do enjoy dressing up.
Right as you finish tying your shoes you hear a knock, this time you know who it is. You open the door to see Carol wearing a long, slender green gown with black accents that hugs her figure flawlessly, she wears her hair down, beautifully styled, and her nails are manicured to perfection.
You stare at her in awe with your mouth open, she says something, but you can't even process it, "Huh?" you ask her to repeat herself.
"I said, are you ready to go?" You simply nod in response. She's fully aware of the effect she has on you, especially since she did it on purpose.
Tonight is gonna be interesting.
You make it to the party with Carol by your side, you see Tony and go greet him against your will. The place looks impeccable, like all the amount of money and effort that went into it could have definitely been put to better use, but you're not about to say that to Mr. Stark and ruin Carol's reputation.
For the next hour you get caught up next to Carol talking to random people, some that you remember and some you can't tell if you've actually met before. It's a lot of fake smiles and playing pretend, but you do it for the woman you got by your side. After one too many conversations, The Captain decides to take a break and go get a snack.
"I can't believe you're making me suck up to the Avengers," you joke.
"What's all that about? You didn't hate them so much when I knew you." Her tone is lighthearted, unaware of the heaviness of her statement.
'Knew,' past tense. It feels a little insulting coming from the person who can read your every move before even you do, the one who can quote back your strongest opinions about menial things, the person who seems to know, with precision, what it is that makes you tick and how to use it against you, "I have to go," you mumble as you make a quick exit.
You leave to the backyard, away from the noise and the people. You find yourself looking up at the stars, they give you a sense of peace and calmness, one that could maybe help you understand how you managed to live in a spaceship for so long.
Spending some time alone allows you to remember the reason why you didn't want to be here in the first place. These events are all about fabricated glamor, about looking good to the outside world when really you're all depressed and traumatized inside.
It starts to get chilly so you go back to the party and stand in a corner hoping no one approaches you. You strongly consider getting a drink, but then think Kamala would be disappointed if she knew you had alcohol with your meds so you settle for a mock-tail.
You spot the girl in the distance, gushing over some hero or another and, after a while, you see Valkyrie arriving fashionably late with Thor by her side, both of them looking marvelous in a way that would have definitely made you look bad if you had walked in with them. Needless to say, you're now having a terrible time, but you don't actually want anyone to make it better, you just want to leave.
You walk to the entrance as you're finishing your fourth fruity drink when you hear Stark yelling over the crowd, "Who's in charge of Danvers?" Your ears perk up and you curse in your head.
You turn back and scan the room to find the culprit, leaning against Valkyrie, clearly way over her limit. You make your way towards them, "I believe you have something of mine," you say to Val in a slightly annoyed tone, not paying attention to Carol.
The King looks at you amused, "Is she now?" she takes a big gulp of the bottle she's holding.
You're not in the mood for this, "Shut up, hand her over, and enjoy the rest of your night." You grab the Captain's arm and pull her towards you, she seems completely disoriented.
"Play nice," Val warns you, with a teasing smirk.
"I’m always nice." You shoot her a fake smile and go on your way.

Reliving this is a trip. I was an interesting feeling the first time thru, and I'm not saying that to humorously downplay a horrific situation. It drew out a little bit of sympathy for Catra I really thought I'd used up by that point, if only cuz what Prime does is really that vile. That's super unusual for me. I went in rooting for Adora to take back someone she cared about, not necessarily cuz it was Catra specifically if you know what I mean, but this got me to want Catra rescued weirdly well. I almost never feel for villains at their nadir like this.
Twisted how empathetic paragon heroes like Adora are among my most treasured characters in fiction, yet I suck at extending the same sympathy they can. You're supposed to see characters like Catra (or Azula or Bakugou or whoever you please) going thru awful things as flawed people with interior lives and subject to exterior circumstances that the heroes are kind/strong/savvy enough to see and incorporate into their responses and my knee jerk is still "fuck off with the pity party, get to the atonement." Or in a lot of cases to laugh while they're down. I always sabotage myself by seeing the author making horrible things happen to the rival/villains, and contrasting them with worse villains, as a cynical tactic to get me and the heroes to sympathize before they've started changing for the better.
It helped that Catra already saved Glimmer at her own peril, and Adora already would've saved Catra no matter what, but still. This is a big reason why villain mind control is one of my least fave tropes. Manipulation and coercion are all good because meaningful agency and responsibility are still there even if characters can't see it, and that is everything in my eyes. To me mind control is the writer hitting pause on a character's growth til a more convenient time in the plot. Or just forever. *cough*🌊🦂🧙‍♂️.
Most of my appreciation for pre-s5 Catra only built up in retrospect through meta-posts and following fanworks like this. So seriously thank you for this series; it's like experiencing the series as it was intended for the first time, weird as that sounds.
You're version of this sequence is as skin-crawling as I think we all could've hoped/feared. Prime is the worst kind of living scum. Great work. Now I can start counting down to the "you miscalculated." scene. Aimee Carrero crushed that line. Can't wait for your version. Positively dancing with anticipation.
It is - at least to me - a really interesting point for Catra to be at, narratively speaking, because it shows the dialectic in her journey. She both did and didn't "bring it upon herself" - yes, she tried to get in Prime's good books, but no, she didn't ask to be chipped. Yes, she saved Glimmer against his instruction, but no, she didn't know the full consequences of what that would do. And when you get people on different sides of the argument, some saying "poor meowmeow didn't deserve this" and others saying, "She's reaping what she's sown", actually they're both right, in this way.
I don't think it would have worked going straight to the atonement, anyway. We don't have these scenes to revel in the depth of her lowest point, we have them to show how bad, how inescapable it was - and then we set up to escape them!
The whole story with Prime has been an interesting writing journey, too. Every time I review the lines, I tweak them to make them that little bit more realistic, that little bit more uncomfortable. I'm painfully aware that we're seeing a lot of similar rhetoric flying around from real people in the media these days (particularly with anti-trans bullshit), and it's no coincidence that Prime is a reflection of this. But my focus isn't on "Oh look, doesn't this character sound like the person trying to destroy our lives", it's on "This character, like the people you've seen on the news, might think they're right but they will never win. They will never defeat us."
Indeed, the Save the Cat books (yes, this episode did remind me of them... It's probably where the name is from) talk about the 'All is Lost' point and the 'Dark Night of the Soul' - this is where we're at right now. It's bad, it's the worst - but it's going to get better.

Well fuck.
I guess I just learned the tactic that is going to be used to discourage democrat voter participation.
I just saw a couple of posts on other social media sites talking about "respecting people's decision to follow their conscience in not voting for Biden in the 2024 presidential election due to his actions and stance regarding the Israeli-Palestine conflict."
I cannot possibly understate just how bad faith this stance is. The main people pushing this idea don't care about anyone in Israel or Palestine. They care about preventing your vote by playing to your sense of justice. They care about harnessing that sense of justice to get you to convince other people not to vote.
There is no true moral backbone to this stance. It hides beneath the idea that you can serve your conscience by not voting in a time when every vote counts and Facism sits on the doorstep. I must emphasize that things would be horrifically worse if the Facists were in control of the country. By not voting you would be abandoning your easiest and most essential way to speak out against this.
Its okay to hate the democratic party for not doing enough and for doing bad things. Its not okay to abandon your civic duty at the influence of bad actors.
I don't want to vote for Joe Biden. I am mad that its no support from the Democratic Party for a real primary with alternative candidates to Biden. I would much rather have someone better than Biden. But I would also much rather have Biden than someone worse than Biden and I will vote to make sure that this happens.
If this continues to get pushed you're going to see a big resurgence of arguments how a vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil. It will claim that voting for a lesser evil is a concession, a statement that you are okay with any bad things done by Biden (or any other candidate where this tactic is employed.) This simply is not true. A vote never has been and never will be a blank endorsement for all opinions and policies of a politician.
Abstaining from voting is not the moral high ground. Its only half a step away from Both Sides centrism.
As a moral stance it doesn't say "Here I am, I am righteous and will not support the unrighteous"
It says
"Here I sit. I do not care if the Facists win." The moral highground of the stance is an illusion. The stance looks in the face of every individual who will suffer and die under Facism and pats them on the head and says I'm sorry you are going to suffer and die, but it was worth it for me to feel good about myself.
The bad actors don't want you to think about these things. They will keep the attention on ever failure of the Democratic party and ask you if you condone them. They will accuse you of approving of these actions and showing them with your vote.
There might be people you trust who become convinced by this and share these feelings in what they feel is good faith. They might be convinced and upset if you don't agree with them. It won't be pleasant.
Please look into efforts within your state to overturn First Past the Post voting. Oregon has put Ranked Choice Voting on the ballot for 2024 and the people will get to decide against the system that let's this lesser of two evils argument exist. Instant Runoff Voting is not the only valid form of ranked voting or otherwise non FPTP voting. Look at your state and check to see if there is a petition to get a new voting method on the ballot. Oregon's legislature placed Ranked Choice on the ballot, but a petition was already in place to accomplish the same thing if they didn't. The same might be going on in your state.
Politics sucks and I wish we didn't have to deal with things like this. But we do. Doubt anything someone says that discourages you from voting.

Can I ask Helen, jeff, and Jason to comfort a reader suffering from night terrors due to their abusive childhood?
As if the reader will wake up screaming and huddle in the corner of the room crying and shaking from bad memories
(let's just say lately... I've been having a lot of night terrors because of it) :(
I hope this can bring you some comfort. As it was not specified, no specific abuse mentioned, just the aftermath.
Jeff:
Jeff is immediately sympathetic when he sees you. You're in a situation he himself has been in countless times, one you've comforted him through countless times, and he can't help but feel an ache resonating through his chest as he looks over you. He's quick to grab your favorite blanket, dragging it with him as he walks slowly over to you. He's soft and gentle as he wraps it around you, bundling it up as you curl into yourself. He's incredibly patient as he sits there with you, pulling you back into his chest as he rubs your back comfortingly, hugging you tightly. He tells you all of the same words you say to him, the ones that he knows work, the ones that he knows will get your body to slump and your eyes to grow tired again. He'll do whatever it takes for you to grow peaceful once more, when he'll move you back to bed, snuggling up to you. He's a very comforting presence, one that completely understands you and does what you need.
Helen:
Helen is anxious and incredibly concerned when he wakes up, blearily spotting you in the corner of your shared room. Helen sucks at comforting people, and he's well aware of it. None of the tactics you use for him in his episodes will apply here, and so he hesitates for a few moments as he thinks of what to do. In the end, he drags himself over to you. He's slow and hesitant, making sure you're okay with every move he makes before he follows through. When you whimper out, shakily reaching a hand out for him, he's quick to move forward, placing you into his lap as you cling onto him. He doesn't speak, not sure what to say, not wanting to make things worse. He simply allows you to cling to him and cry everything out as he holds you, pressing soothing kisses to your cheeks and forehead for as long as you need, he'll never leave you alone. Helen doesn't take his eyes off of you until he's completely sure you'll be alright, always remaining by your side as he knows you'd do the same for him.
Jason:
Jason notices immediately when you shoot up, fills himself with concern the second you're shakily resting in the corner, and moves right away to help you. He starts by draping his highest quality blanket around you and patting your head before momentarily leaving. When he returns, he has a steaming hot beverage, one of your favorites, and a few of your favorite snacks. He moves you with ease, placing your back against his chest as he places you into his lap, placing your drink and snacks in front of you. He holds you comfortingly as you indulge in the treats, leaning around you and pressing kisses to your teary cheeks and whispering soothing words into your ears. He asks if you'd like to talk about it, and whether you do or don't is fine by him, he just wants you to have the option. Either way, he'll sit there with you, talking about anything or sitting in silence until you're ready to go back to bed. Whatever you need, you only have to ask.

This post will probably upset a lot of people. This is from my notepad: Hopefully, one day, I can publish a book about self-care.
The body has different forms of hunger
- hunger for food
- hunger for sex
- hunger for attention
- hunger for pleasure
- hunger for dominance over someone so they can influence someone or tell someone to do what they want, able to control people to take action according to their own purpose
- hunger for things to do to pass time and effect of boredom
- hunger for affection and communication
Hunger makes us do things. A person can do any form of activity be it moral or immoral, or immoral but legal just to quench a hunger. The problem with hunger is as long as you're alive, you will always feel hunger sooner or later. Hunger always return even if you have done ways to relieve it. The worst thing is that the effects of hunger to your body lingers and will accumulate the more you feed your hunger. The body doesn't eliminate the effects of hunger to your body right away. It would take days even weeks or months to get back to the healthiest state of your body. But hunger tells your brain to keep feeding your body, more and more, so that you will have the illusion that you have quenched your hunger. But hunger is never satisfied. It wants you to eat your fill, then another and another but your body can't handle it in the long run. Therefore. Hunger is not about feeding the body. Hunger is about feeding the mind. You are not hungry. You are simply oversensitive and weak who has no control over your brain. Your brain is resistant to satisfaction. You simply cannot process satisfaction. If you're not satisfied, you'll keep looking for something to make you feel satisfied.
The goal is not to get perpetual satisfaction because that means you're already dead but be able to satisfy your hunger for long periods of time. Consuming little which will satisfy you for days, weeks, months, until you're able to finally find a healthy way to satisfy different forms of hunger.
When you're young, your cravings to satisfy hunger is so intense that rationality goes out the window. You'll do anything to satisfy cravings not in the most healthy way but the most immediate way.
Junkfoods, porn, video games, bursts of anger, movies, music, illicit drugs, risky transactions, reckless companions and the such all are immediate, convenient, accessible, and quite tempting. No matter how strong you think your will power is, sooner or later, you will submit to that form of hunger, satisfy it's thirst until hunger demands your attention once again. Hunger is your insatiable child who you can shut up momentarily until it needs to be fed again, and again. It is a vampire which sucks the life out of you in order to survive. Suppression of hunger only leads to a more powerful yearning like a toddler screaming for its milk. Hunger is present in ALL Human beings at various levels; some more powerful than the other but nevertheless present.
What businesses do in order to gain a profit is to tap into the carnal desires of the hungry child in every human being through various stimuli most effectively through visual stimulation.
The inevitable reality is that every individual is capable of tapping into this same primeval desire if they're knowledgeable and bold enough to do it. It's unfair but such is the truth about hunger.
Hunger will always be taken advantage of. If people can easily identify your hungers, they can use this information against you or control you. If you're naive, you'll be easily swayed by the conniving tactics of consumerism disguised in the form of marketing to your "needs". When in fact, they're only after on how to quench the deepest most basic desires of your hungers. Business spend millions researching the right taste, feel, and attractiveness of a product or service to awaken the sleeping hunger of your unconscious. Everywhere you go, everywhere you look, there are all kinds of triggers to entice your hunger. People and business want you and even encourage you to be a mindless hunger quenching zombie so they could milk you into their jar of profit.
This book is to help you tear that shroud and get it off your face to clearly see that you're being manipulated and pushed into various agendas so you can be their puppet. Wake up!
My book aims to arm you with knowledge so you can lessen the effects of the mass brainwashing that the world has succumbed into. If you think you can't control yourself, it's because something has gotten a hold of your hungers and like a child who's being fed, you keep opening your mouth and consuming what they're selling.
There's nothing free in this world. There's only a trial period and it's only a matter of time before you seek out to buy the premium version to quench your hunger. Plus, if it's free, you're paying it with something else such as time, focus, attention which are so precious to business.
Your time, focus, and attention is much more valuable than gold. So invest in growing your time, focus, and attention to things that are much more rewarding such as becoming a service-oriented person and doing self-care activities.
The internet is a powerful tool for completing service-oriented tasks as well as doing self-care but it's more detrimental because you're exposed to all sorts of rancid ideologies, nonsensical content, fabricated news, AI generated videos, all to get your time, focus, and attention so they'll be able to trigger your hungers which will probably lead you to purchase their legal yet extremely immoral products or services.

I just wanted to share that I relate with you, a few years ago I posted that I really hated Sonic Forces, bad game bad story and everything, I then ended up getting someone who send me numerous messages on how wrong I was, I ignored them but they kept going, then they made fun of the way I drew Sonic and I suddenly a week later I got messages on my personal blog mocking me for my post regarding depression thoughts, thinking about suicide and missing my cat who passed away . That really hurt, not helping them was that they constantly told me I drew Sonic out of character, a hobby that helped me cope with my feelings, all this beause I didnt like Forces. I just disabled anon messages for six months. When this year I expressed mild dissapointed with Frontiers gameplay but that I still like the game, I got 4 messages on how wrong I was. I dont get this with the Pokémon fans. It just makes me think there is something fundamentally wrong with the Sonic fanbase.
Jesus. You shouldn't have received that kind of treatment for posting opinions online, and this is coming from someone who leans more towards neutrality on Forces.
It's also funny, not "ha ha" funny, but in an ironic way, as a contrast to our experiences, because once people caught onto the fact that a few of us didn't think the game was utter dogshit and it does have a few good points, they proceeded to double down on their cries of "Pontaff apologist." Apparently saying "No, Forces is not the equivalent of '06" is enough to get people on your ass, but it also seems disliking it garners you harassment.
Plus, they were all too happy to dismiss Frontiers criticism as "you just hate Flynn and are using this an excuse to bash him again and not give him a chance" because Flynn Haters must never have independent thoughts, their hatred of him is just a mindless reflex. They implied this, even though some of us stressed repeatedly that Flynn's involvement ranked pretty low on the reasons we just didn't like the game.
What does that tell you about how mercurial the environment is? At this point I can't imagine being a part of the in-group, how stressful it would be to keep biting my tongue, stifling my real thoughts, just because at any moment someone could arbitrarily decide they don't like my face that day and proceed to use my "shitty opinions" as an excuse to fling abuse at me. If one of my friends says "I don't like SA2, it's overrated and the story sucks," the most I get is annoyed for a while. Then I move on. It's not something I hold against them because ultimately their opinion doesn't have to affect mine.
Somehow, though, this fandom acts like you have to hold the Correct Opinions or else, which just makes you wonder at the insecurity underpinning everything. If they really believed what they believed, they wouldn't have to resort to these tactics. If we're "desperate," as they often say, they're insecure.
---
I then ended up getting someone who send me numerous messages on how wrong I was, I ignored them but they kept going, then they made fun of the way I drew Sonic and I suddenly a week later I got messages on my personal blog mocking me for my post regarding depression thoughts, thinking about suicide and missing my cat who passed away .
I'm so sorry. Again, that should have never happened. That kind of behavior is reprehensible and unacceptable. There is no opinion you can express online which merits such treatment.
This? This is what harassment is. Idk what they're on about when they complain they've suffered "harassment" because one of us reblogged their post with commentary on The Reblogging Site. They are absolutely not the same thing, and you (general you) are insulting harassment victims when you do this.
---
It just makes me think there is something fundamentally wrong with the Sonic fanbase.
There is. I can't exactly pinpoint one cause because it seems to be a melting pot of interrelated issues. It's like a pressure cooker of conformity borne of the desperation not to be seen as cringe by the mainstream - hence all the diatribes about "you guys are making the rest of us look bad," like, who are you performing fandom for? why are you performing fandom? - with anti-games bias stemming from that since the games aren't considered as "deep" as the comics. Unlike the book which improves them, the games are childish, and we wouldn't want to be seen as childish, taking something as inconsistent and puerile like Sonic games too seriously.
Then you add a dose of purity culture, the intense focus on parasocial relationships with ascended fans (I find IDW staff's conduct unprofessional and really skirting the line wrt its fandom), and outright abuse apologism (the stuff with Emi Jones is sickening), and the mixture becomes toxic.

Saw this kind of post expressing a thing I see rather a lot online and since my knee hurts so bad for no reason I can't sleep I may as well respond to it here.
In just about every fandom space, sooner or later there's always that one person who doesn't like a thing or a fellow fan and in their screed against whatever they say something like "I'm a survivor of x bad thing" as this weird justification for their arguement. And look, my guy. My dude. You gotta stop with that shit.
Before I go any farther I wanna say that whatever happened to you, yeah that sucked. I've been there too. It's a bad feeling, especially when you're young and it just starts to hit you how bad it was. That's a lousy feeling and a real hard place to be. And you're trying to deal, trying to figure out how your world that is functionally the same as it always was is suddenly contorted around the awful thing. And suddenly something you like or some asshole you've never met blunders into that new raw wound and you freak out. I get it. It's hard being in that place in life. It hurts, it makes you mad, and it's so damn unfair that you can't fix it or make things go back to before you knew. For what it's worth, I'm sorry that happened to you. Shit sucks big time.
However. You are not the only person on earth who was hurt in whatever way you're hurting. Your trauma does not make you an expert on the matter and your hurt does not excuse you when you use it as a bludgeon to try and force people to your side through guilt. That thing that makes you feel uncomfortable and weird all of a sudden? Maybe that's the only thing that got someone who went through exactly what you did through this awful period of realization. And maybe it's all just a joke to some strangers online you'll never meet. You will never really know. It's still a dick move to try and force everyone in a room to do what you want through this guilt trip tactic. For one thing, you're almost certainly hurting someone you have more in common with than not. For another, if you don't care enough about strangers to respect that they feel differently about something than you do, why do you think they give two shits about your feelings? It sucks to find out this way but in most fandom spaces, nobody cares how you feel, and they really don't care when you're a total stranger barging in yelling that they should feel bad because something they like made you, a total rando, feel bad.
tl,dr: Using your trauma as a blunt force instrument to try and get your way is not going to work out how you want and it's a pretty good way to give others a stick to hit you with.

Hi, there um H. (srry idk what to call u ^^;;) I just wanna say that the anon sending u those rude ass asks, sucks ass tbh for causing u to feel the way ur feeling now and how I empathize w that feeling of humiliation and paranoia to overthink and nitpick ur previous actions without even knowing what it is specifically that caused for this barrage of negativity and insults/accusations.
Because they never stated a specific instance or samples to begin with. And they’ve addressed you twice already and be incredibly verbose about their criticisms against you without actually stating wtf it is about your stance on feminism that they’re put off with. They’re the ones being unclear, offensive, and confusing. Not you.
Your English is more than perfectly fine!! 💜 I admire how you can use the language very effectively and that’s someone who’s not a native speaker as well. :D
I enjoy JJK and your blog is one of the few that I follow and engage with because your posts are succinct and interesting to read.
You’re very thorough in posting ur analysis as well with actual txts and panels to back it up so it matches up w how u came about your thoughts on certain aspects of the story. And that’s just cool tbh. I save screenshots and note my own thoughts too but I don’t find the time or energy to organize and be half as coherent.
Another thing is, ur posts lack that moral posturing, the sort that’s becoming more and more popular ugh, of analyzing/criticizing fictional content based on what they supposedly represent instead of what the actual text or context of the source material is. Especially in this bloated (jjk) fandom.
That’s admirable and refreshing.
So… ye :) I know it may be weird having all of these come from a relative stranger but like i said I’m intimately familiar with this… kind of upset a tactic like theirs has caused. And I hope my words help a little. Nd again, I’m a non-native English speaker as well so if it’s a lil confusing its most likely bcoz i don’t get to practice that often. XD
Don’t let this rude person get to you!! 💪🏼G’night!
Thank you very much for the kind words, you made me tear up ;-;
I'm glad you enjoy my meta. I don't claim I'm right about everything but I really do try to always reference the story.
And the moral posturing gets to me too, because it really doesn't do anything good.
I don't mind when people tell me that they don't like that I can be very harsh to others, it's a perfectly reasonable thing not to like. Or that they disagree with me, as long as they disagree with something I've actually written.

Yan!RPF Headcanons: RDJ Edition (1/2)
This entire thing is just sexual content so consenting adults only here. That's all I got. And apparently it's a lot because I crossed the word limit for Tumblr. Change the she to whomever you desire! Part 2 Link.
Yandere!Robert Downey Junior (Insp. from Iron Man)
Tumblr media
He sucks as a yan honestly, lol.
Gets attracted to anyone that looks or holds herself better than he does. Tight, fitting clothes on any body that accentuates appealing features is his downfall. And accessories; he loves it yet has no fashion sense himself.
He knows he’s hot shit and people flock toward him for attention and whatnot. Ergo, he expects you to come crawling to him when he sets his sights on you and makes his move. Welcomes the arousing challenge if you play hard-to-get more than he thought. Though quite impatient about it, he knows you’ll be his in the end.
If you have similar hobbies as him or work in the same field, he’ll not only be more interested in you, but will absolutely use this knowledge to his advantage.
Will act like the idea of you visiting him during his filming would be a nice surprise as he leaves you an open-ended ticket before departing, but honestly prefers to just bring you with him to stay in his trailer and/or a hotel closeby without even asking. Just wants you to have an illusion of a choice and make it seem like the offer isn’t a big deal. If you’re resistant enough, he’ll just bring you with him without so much as a warning. He either packs your bags in advance, or completely forgets and buys you more clothes in the new town, nonchalant about your already filled wardrobe.
Doesn't really need cameras when he leaves because typically you're with him, but at the times you’re both apart, he'll keep texting and calling you to relay constant updates on his journey and to hear your voice. Would install a tracker just so he doesn't worry about you so much, especially when there are wifi issues.
Honestly, if you willingly accept him, he won't find any flaw in you and lets you live your life to the fullest with the only thing you need to give is yourself- to be tied to him for the rest of your life. Seriously. You're his goddamn angel that fell from the sky and his happy ending to his shitty past. Give into him completely and accept his attention and he'll put you in the highest regard.
The only way he’s going to let you live independently for a time is if you entertain him with sex- constantly. He wants you to consider moving in with him so you’re not so far away. Don’t be surprised when he moves in right next to you if you refuse living together but still wanna keep the benefits of being friends.
If you start being actual friends with him, he’ll tone down the perviness in favor of friendly charm with constant undertones of flirtiness to make you feel wanted and coming back for more of his praise. If you reject going steady and emphasize you want to stay platonic, he’ll be put off but tries having a relationship with you on your terms. He gets frustrated at your frustration caused by his endless flirting and lack of space, so he decides the best way to solve both of your problems is to just accept your new role as his girlfriend and follow him everywhere.
A huge pervert and has a high libido.  Even if you aren’t into sex, he’ll still be very suggestive about it and almost try to guilt you into sleeping with him or iniciating a sloppier makeout most of the time. Oh look, he’s grown hard from all the struggling you did against him. Why don’t you come a little closer and fix what you caused~?
Will absolutely kidnap you and make the whole thing kinky with the restraints and touches and explanations laced with quirky innuendos. It’s a tactic to minimize the severity of the situation and let your guard down. It also shows you how you make him feel physically, as well as testing what your turn ons are. You’re his everything who’s finally here with him and he wants to show you how good he can make you feel.
Uses sex to placate you from any negative emotion or distract you, but it's mainly to wear you out so he can feel assured knowing he could be gone for an hour or two and you'll still be right where he left you. The marking you on the inside part is a bonus, too.
Has no shame to speak of being caught in the act. Will keep pounding into you with the new audience, despite your reaction. Walk in on him jerking it so he has an excuse to ravish you out of horniness, even though it was his fault for not locking the door. If he walks in on you, however, he won't leave until he knows you're too sore to touch yourself again without pain.
Expects you to sleep naked together in a spooning position. Claims you’re the one making it naughty when his hard-on is painfully pressing into your skin.
Will tease you about sharing a bed with another if you’re not up for it at the time, but is lying through his teeth. Really just wants to see how you react, hoping you’ll pounce on him with possessive jealousy. Would never actually cheat on you, but still shamelessly flirts with everyone.
Part 2 Link.

. Vampire au headcanons

Stereotypes
Holy water has no effect on Yuna and her vampire brethren. It's an old religious tale to keep the people faithful and controlled.
The same could be said for garlic, silver, entering a church or temple/place of worship, reading passages from the bible out loud, the holy bible being placed against a vampire's flesh, running water, holding a crucifix, pressing crucifix against the skin, stake to the heart, ripping out the heart (she's already dead. it's just there for aesthetic purposes).
What DOES hurt her, but doesn't kill her, is sunlight. She will develop big, ugly blisters and open sores all over her skin. It drains her power, leaving her incredibly weak. This is why most of her kind isn't seen during the day. But it IS possible to walk around in the sun. All she needs is shade, covered up from head to toe, and taking frequent breaks to be able to walk. Vampires must train for something this harsh.
The things that can kill her are fire, decapitation, and slicing/blowing her up into a million little pieces. Go figure.
She cannot turn into a bat, nor is she unable to see her own reflection, or does not appear in photos. That was a special ability granted to the eldest vampire in existence - Count Dracula, himself. And no, she doesn't sleep in a coffin. That also is an ode to Dracula because he was an overly dramatic moron.
The true stereotypes are that her eyes change colors when she's about to feed - a sickly pale yellow overtakes her usual mismatched irises when she's nourishing herself as her fangs elongate.
She harbors a venom which can turn humans into vampires, though, she is able to control its poison.
She is cold by touch, can feel temperature, but it doesn't affect her any.
Natural beauty and lovely scents are used as a tactic to lure victims. It is something she cannot turn off.
Glamour. It is possible to hide her fangs. It doesn't hurt. Though it is a little uncomfortable if she does it for a long period of time. Think of it like sucking in your stomach as hard as you can.
She doesn't breathe. Self-explanatory.
She never sleeps, just hides from the sun.
Yes. Most vampires are quite romantic, well-spoken, and intelligent! Whether it's a cultural thing, or a vast ability, no one knows. So no one asks.
The scent of blood can trigger a violent reaction. Vampires are always starving for nourishment. No matter how much you sup, it's never enough. Yuna has tamed herself...somewhat. In the presence of a bleeder, she will violently shake and groan in frustration as she refrains from brutally attacking said individual who is bleeding. Her eyes will shift to their sickly milky yellow color, her fangs will be exposed, and yet she still has that very small sense of control in the back of her head preventing her from killing.
And last but not least. Yes. Yuna is guilty of killing an innocent and draining them completely dry in the past. It is nobody's fault but her own, as she refused to feed for months due to an ongoing bounty hunting spree. She wasn't strong enough, and her instincts completely took over, causing an... incident.
She still visits the woman's grave occasionally. However, she doubts she will ever be forgiven.

[Yandere maya]
(Yandere Alphabet)
//implied trauma(?) , kidnapping , gaslighting , manipulation.
Tumblr media
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Through kisses, and hugs n shit.
I'm going to say this alot but sirens are terrifying if you met one irl, their powers can kill people almost in an instant with Eridium.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
No, in fact she's probably guilty that she has to even abduct you. After all she's been with those monks all her life until she fled for Pandora. She knows what its like to be trapped.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Kisses...
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
Since she was brought up by monks, lied to and used as a fear tactic. It would make sense for her to try and not act like her 'family.'
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Like I said earlier, guilty as shit, she loves you so much, but doesn't want to hurt you in anyway.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Nope, as soon as she finds you she'll hug you / tackle you to the ground. Refusing to let you go.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Being phaselocked, imagine how scary it must be to be trapped in a different dimension, even just for a second.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
After opening the vault? Laying low / going back to Athenas and living off the riches you'll both have.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Sort of, obviously you can and are going to look up to other people. The perks of being with her is that she can threaten her way to get you a spot with them.
Though any mention of flirting and or crushes at best you will never see them again, at worst they will be Phaselocked to death.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Super protective, with false promises / white lies, whether that be visiting location, wishing to see a vault or others. - and she kisses your face like every 5 seconds.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
She'll flaunt her status as a siren and vault hunter to try and win you over, if that doesn't work She'll forcefully take you as an apprentice.
Yes, she more strict / more bossy around everyone else.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
By phaselocking you, only for a second. The jolt shall set you straight right?
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
You wouldn't even realise tbh.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
Super duper, she has all the time in the world with you.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
No, she will never give up on you till she finds your body.
On a horrifying note, technically everyone on the NEW U Station is immortal, so I bet she would put one in your house and make you resplendent there.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Yeah, being with the Monks felt like a prison.
But she won't let you go, she just wants you safe! Isn't that bad.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Being raised by the Order of the Impending Storm (?), she knows the best ways to keep you with her, and knowing what slip ups the monks made.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Being Isolated sucks, wanting freedom sucks. So doing the things you want to do under her prying eyes doesn't "suck" to her.
So she's guilty yes, but her orthodox methods are alarming.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
Not really? Idk.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Relating her to those bastard monks.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Depends on the situation, majorily no,
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Yes, just yes?!
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
If you get hurt, or just any sort of threat / danger.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Depends on your definition of break.
