EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK!!! I want to be coherent about this season but please picture me foaming at the mouth and running on the walls. S2 being what if Mark's just like his Dad? Insanity. I love this show. Anyways, AU where an Evil!Mark tries to make Our!Mark worse, and Our!Mark tries to make the other better. Something something confronting your idea of the worst version of oneself. Plus, tweaked black and yellow costume because I saw it and immediately went murder hornet lookin' ass and knew I had to draw it. Evil ass Mark. Horrible. I think he should be dragged kicking and screaming into redemption.
if a bird did this to me and i survived (by the way this woman survived and still has both eyes), i would go on a bird genocide. i would kill them all whenever and wherever i saw them. i would become their king leopold, their hitler.
this entire sequence of the entire team debating whether or not they should launch Quark into space to signal Bajor while they ignore Quark going "IM NOT FUCKING DOING THAT" is. so funny
vengeance-sworn. night-eater; the promise of the cold, blue dawn. jury, judge, and executioner. their own pallbearer. the sacrificial lamb. god-starved. taught to lie still with their neck bare, to not wince when the knife gets too close. the phantom that haunts. the reckoning of the past, of all your wickedness and more. sin-bearer. iphigenia at heart; she was always supposed to die at aulis. the unrelenting reminder of evil——of your evil and his and hers and theirs. jesus in gethsemane. agony in the garden. forsaken, forgotten until its too late——
When the crew is hunting Dracula down to kill him, Van Helsing and Jack are almost clinical about it: Those are the facts on how to kill a vampire, and we'll perform the procedure once we apprehend him. Quincey declares that he'll swiftly destroy him in his coffin, and he's praised for it. This will end that reign of terror once and for all! Save Lucy's dearest friend from the same fate. It's a noble, somber cause. Meanwhile, Jonathan violently launches upon Dracula's heart, jumps out of a broken window after him, speaks of trading his soul, of dragging him to Hell, of willing to face the rope, of anything it takes to kill him.
When the doctors, Arthur, and Quincey hear that they'll get Dracula soon, they're burning with excitement. Jonathan meanwhile is staying away from them all, quietly whittling his knife, now always on him.
Despite the fact that they all have the same goal -to kill- Jonathan stands out as the dark one between them because his actions communicate hatred, revenge, hopelessness, and bloodthirst that the others don't have.
Mina and Van Helsing oppose those traits whenever he displays them, and Mina even warns him that they can bring him divine punishment and prays to God to forgive him...
The bells were ringing for him throughout the story, but he came out alive.
mxy doesnt get enough credit for not only summoning what he believed to be a deranged demonic ghoul to kill his family, but also setting him free into the world wearing his face after the deed was done. like, that man really was ready to let the world BURN
