The 7 Golden Rules of Communication for Online Meetings
Even as far back as 2020, during the height of the pandemic, research was being conducted on the effectiveness of video conferencing in education, and some such research concluded that online meetings would remain popular long-after the pandemic was over.
An article by Richard James Rogers (Award-Winning Author of The Quick Guide to Classroom Management and The Power of Praise: Empowering Students Through Positive Feedback). This blog post has been beautifully illustrated by Pop Sutthiya Lertyongphati. Even as far back as 2020, during the height of the pandemic, research was being conducted on the effectiveness of video conferencing in education,…

Hey so weird question as I always wonder how these daily challenges work do you actually draw them on the day or do you like maybe draw a few of them at once because ooh vibe got that motivationnn and then set them to post scheduled? Because I'd love to try a daily challenge but I feel I'd struggled to with the daily part and do them in groups and idk if that's 'cheating'
i usually draw them at the end of the day when i have doodle time on my hands, its a nice fun thing for me to do before i go to bed usually! do a daily challenge with whatever rules you think apply to you, its all up to you! i dont strictly follow any particular ruleset for myself because it kind of stresses me out to schedule out art like that... personally i have always been the type to do big bursts of energy throughout the day and i can usually draw something small at least once a day, so this is a perfect outlet to direct that energy for me and it just works ^^; i know that isnt particularly helpful, but you just have to really look forward to what you want to draw, and pokemon has been an interest of mine since i was a BABY! (mom gave me pokemon plushies as a child and they imprinted on me...i love them i still have them mostly) but basically just be as open and obsessed with what you love as you can manage tbh, sometimes thats a tiny doodle sometimes its something im really proud of!
#i remember drawing 30 butterfree on seperate pieces of paper once in the third grade#i was heavily fixated on the way i had just learned to draw them thru a tutorial online#📞#taurless#synchronize

So, earlier today my brain spewed up a thought and I was gonna make a post that said "I can't stop going until I can't keep going anymore", but I didn't bc I was kind of manic panicking and driving to the coast on a whim, even though I probably should have just been taking a break and breathing a bit.
And yaknow what happened? Three quarters of the way to the coast, my car died.
And when I say died, I mean, it is not coming back kind of died.
Moral of the story: When you refuse to learn a lesson even though you know better, that lesson is gonna find a way to learn you.
#cosmic coincidence control center?#life is weird like that#it was probably the best worst thing to happen to me today#slow down#story#take a break#breath#learning lessons#life lessons#synchronicity#funny

maybe world trigger being my first like, shonen genre special interest fucked me up but like. I'm tired of manga where it's crisis to crisis to crisis to crisis like. I'm a simple man with simple wants I want 20 chapters of training and improving strategy and technique and character interactions instead of all the training being onscreen for 2 panels and or done over a chapter thats like. 5 minutes in universe
#I want these bitches too talk in strategy in depth and learn about their allies skills and how they synchronize/clash and also how#To counter them and stuff. I need to reread world trigger I thiunk#Also constant crisis is like. Damn you're dying every week. Invest in some training mayhaps so the people killing you actually look strong

im feeling sooo good lately. a few years ago i was like a complete wreck i cared too much about what people thought and didn’t have a plan to improve my life or anything, i was just drifting aimlessly. and now??? now i swear i am learning and growing everyday and wonderful coincidences keep happening to show i’m living consciously and moving in a better and better direction all the time, like i’m honing in on better and better futures everyday. feels so good, because as i travel from discovery to discovery i also keep growing as a person. but the best part is, i know this movement is already the end goal. i will keep doing it forever

## Heads up, communicators! Mercury's in retrograde until January 1st, stirring up surprises and synchronicities in our connections. ✨
Here's a sneak peek:
* **Unexpected dates!** Someone from your past might pop back in, or a routine run-in leads to a spark.
* **Intuition vs. will power:** Listen to your gut, even if it clashes with your plans. Let fate guide you with a gentle touch.
* **Family focus:** Expect conversations with siblings, aunts, uncles, or even the neighbor next door. Home, travel, and learning could be hot topics. ✈️
* **Small bumps, big blessings:** Don't sweat the minor mishaps. There's potential for something truly good here if you play along with the cosmic energy.
Remember, keep a light touch around communication and let things flow naturally. Embrace the unexpected, leave room for surprises, and enjoy the ride!
Set your intentions now, and see what unfolds during this Mercury Retrograde adventure. ✨
May you all come into happy synchronicities and harmonious connections!
**P.S.** The shadow phase lasts a few days after January 1st, so keep the gentle approach alive for a bit longer.

one thing i strongly believe in is synchronicity. and that's because i experience some weird examples of it almost daily. take this one: i was on a train today and there were two german tourists sitting in front of me. i could read the title of their tourist guide and the only thing i could more or less understand was "time to go momo". i thought it was some sort of cute way of saying "go explore the world" and apprently i wasn't wrong. but that's not the weird part. the weird part is that the book I myself was reading mentions "the grey men" in "Momo" by Michael Ende in order to compare them to the member of a right wing political party in Italy.
i didn't make the connection on the spot but i kept thinking that i had to look up this "Momo" book and when I did it turns out it's a book about... TIME! so "time to go momo" didn't *just* mean "go explore" but... "it's time to MAKE time to explore". And the weirdest part is that Michael Ende, according to Wikipedia:
Ende himself has said that "Momo is a tribute of gratitude to Italy and also a declaration of love," indicating that the author idealized the Italian way of life.
so the german tourists were going to italy bc it was time for them to make time and go explore (which seems to be in line with the way of thinking maintained by the main who coined the word "momo") while I myself was going back "home" while reading a book about the myth of the idealized, innocent, good italian where the same book is used as an example of the way in which right politicians use this idealized, self-constructed and widely exported myth of the good italian and their slow, mythic way of life.
i'll have to think about this for a while because i've rarely seen, let alone lived, such a distinct yet NOT separate way of seeing the world through one lens and how the lens means less than nothing if i don't take into account the actual eye, that is the "lived experience" of the one who's watching through that same lens.
#stuff like this happen to me quite regularly to the point that i don't find synchronicities as an exception#but more like a rule. this is also how i read books by the way#by trying to pursue the synchronicity to see if a message gets eventually revealed to me#it never does but i do learn A LOT and i guess that's just a better outcome than a revelation hahaha#synchronicity#reading

The Philosophy of Coincidence
The philosophy of coincidence examines the nature, meaning, and implications of events that appear to occur simultaneously or in a related manner without an apparent causal connection. Coincidence often raises questions about probability, causality, perception, and the human tendency to seek patterns. Philosophers explore whether coincidences are purely random, hold deeper significance, or emerge from underlying structures or forces not yet understood.
Key Themes in the Philosophy of Coincidence
Definition of Coincidence
Coincidence typically refers to events that occur together in a way that seems unlikely or striking but lack a direct causal relationship.
Philosophers differentiate between genuine coincidences and events that only appear coincidental due to limited knowledge or understanding.
Causality and Randomness
Randomness: Coincidences may be perceived as outcomes of random processes, with no deeper connection.
Hidden Causality: Others argue that apparent coincidences may arise from complex causal chains or unrecognized factors.
Probability and Statistics
Philosophers and mathematicians explore how coincidences align with probability theory.
The law of large numbers suggests that in a world with countless events, some coincidences are statistically inevitable.
Human Perception and Pattern Recognition
Humans are naturally inclined to seek meaning and patterns, leading to an overestimation of the significance of coincidences.
The role of confirmation bias and apophenia (seeing connections where none exist) is central to how coincidences are interpreted.
Philosophical Significance of Coincidences
Coincidences often provoke existential and metaphysical questions: Are they purely chance, or do they hint at deeper truths or forces?
Some view coincidences as evidence of synchronicity (a concept introduced by Carl Jung) or interconnectedness in the universe.
Coincidences and Free Will
Coincidences challenge ideas of control and predictability, raising questions about human autonomy and fate.
Philosophers ask whether coincidences suggest the existence of a preordained order or are consistent with a universe governed by chance.
Cultural and Religious Interpretations
In many cultures and belief systems, coincidences are imbued with spiritual or mystical significance.
Examples include omens, divine intervention, or karmic alignment, where coincidences are seen as meaningful rather than random.
Coincidences in Epistemology
Philosophers examine how coincidences impact belief formation and knowledge acquisition.
Questions include: When is it rational to attribute significance to a coincidence? How do coincidences influence scientific theories or discoveries?
Coincidence vs. Design
The philosophical debate often contrasts coincidences with intentional design.
For example, arguments in favor of intelligent design or determinism often challenge the notion of random coincidences.
