I just remembered Ludinus telling Caleb outright that Trent "has his uses", and with regard to the Scourger program, which Trent himself designed and pitched, "desperate requirements might call for unsavory methods."

And given that we know now that Ludinus has been singlemindedly focused on the current goals of the Ruby Vanguard for a lot longer than the program would've been in existence, I'm just imagining a timeline in which Caleb and Beau had not gotten the program shuttered in 836 PD, and that entire force of highly-conditioned, high level arcane assassins was simply at Ludinus's disposal.

it's based off a batfam comment I saw that mentioned in the early comics Bruce knew about Talia's pregnancy and was ecstatic to be a father. So much so that Talia feared he'd give up being Batman for it, so when she gave birth she put the baby (Damian) on a doorstep and (seemingly) told Bruce that the baby was stillborn.

I saw it, thought "mm, tasty!" and thought what if that baby was Danny instead of Damian? By default I was thinking of making him a few years older, however, it works just as well with demon twins. I need to think it over. Meet Daniel Brown! 14 year old foster kid whose been with the Fentons for the last two years! He has SO many issues haha. hah. lmfao even.

Danny's theme song is literally just "Good Kid" from the Percy Jackson musical, to sum him up.

you guys it was maybe a month ago i was SOBBING to God, not once but twice that week because i was struggling terribly with my social skills and feeling so insecure and embarrassed. I felt like i lost all my progress i had made over the past few years. to now in the past weeks i have felt so much more confident while talking to people, even people at work i barely even know and multiple people have told me they can see my personality coming through/i'm like a new person. that has blown me away!!! He is literally bringing me to life. ALL I DID WAS BEGIN GOING TO CHURCH AND ALL OF THESE THINGS HAVE BEEN POURED OUT UPON ME! i decided to try and not overthink how i'm coming across and what i'm going to say and it's released the pressure off of me. i've surrendered that to God to handle because i didn't want to deal with it anymore and He has been taking care of it so fast. my confidence has grown so much in the shortest amount of time ever in my life. like He really meets me in the darkest places and soon after begins to move and renews my mind and Spirit and attitude and perspective on things. He has been in the process of helping me move through fear as i walk into it but continues to deliver me out of it into a better place. He is helping me with my endurance and it's made me to trust in Him in deeper ways. i've begun delighting in Him with tenderness and am soaking in His peace and it's been grounding. like i've entered a new layer of peace with Him and my gosh it's so gentle and tangible and i just want to stay there forever in that Presence sometimes. my spiritual discipline isn't the greatest at times and He's getting me there (Psalm 23:1-2 moment.) But my goodness it's wild to have gone from believing in Christ but not putting my faith to action to now doing exactly that and i have just been receiving blessing after blessing - whether it's spiritual (seeing grace everywhere) or relational (just people loving me like Jesus or enjoying my job and adoring going to church and talking to people every week as i practice my social skills.) I say this all the time "idk why all of a sudden He's decided to start blessing me in these ways and what did i do to deserve it?" i know i did nothing and that He has always loved me right where i'm at but it's interesting as i follow the patterns of these past few months and i can't help but wonder if it's all because i have been taking steps of faith into the unknown and it's tested my trust in Him and endurance in those "dim mirrors" as Paul would say which has brought me into closer communion with Christ and i've been able to "see more clearly" and understand things on a deeper spiritual level. idk but ugh HE IS SO GOOD I AM CONSTANTLY TOUCHED AND HE IS JUST DOING GREAT THINGS WITHIN ME AND THE OTHERS AROUND ME. I wish i could talk ab these things without sounding repetitive but i swear He is doing these things and having me learn them/lessons over and over again to show me that i can trust Him and work things out of me to bring the new in. i really do love Him so much my gosh i really do. This is the best season of my entire walk with Him since i got saved in 2021 nearly 4 whole yrs ago and i am trying to soak it all in and even process it!!!! so i share all of this on here bc it's a lil diary for me, i love to share what He's doing for me to show others He can do it for anyone and i want to give hope to others with my testimonies. i have had so many of these recently and it's made me so joyful 🥹

Flow, a movie with no dialogue, won a bunch of awards. All the characters are animals that don't speak. How are they giving interviews and stuff in your off the animation table au?

Sign language, a lot of toons know sign if they don't talk. It's rare in modern day for a toon to not have a voice, but once upon a time it was actually common and thus its not difficult for the others to adapt, around 90 percent of Toons know Sign Language,

1920s and into the 1930s black and whites commonly did not speak. Even Mickey Mouse was once one who was silent. Oswald didn't talk until 1951 when Ub Iwerks gave him his voice,

And also God forbid a voice actor die they need to be able to communicate you see in my worlds when a voice actor dies the Toon goes quiet instantly, there are only a handful that have somehow kept their original voice actors. Mickey with Walt, Oswald with Ub,

But Bugs and crew were completely silent for the 3 to 4 months it took for them to find a new voice actor for the Looney Tunes after Mel Blanc's death,

Ans it's actually quite common to see sign language passed down in families, if there's a black and white ancestor more than likely they know sign language so they can speak to their family members,

Disney is very highly adaptive unlike our world because in 1954 Mickey took on a mouse pup named Reginald (Reggies is His and Minnies but there's a long story about why the kid was initially on his own)

Reginald has the Toon form of down syndrome he is mostly nonverbal. Walt Mickey and Minnie taking this in stride as they all loved this lil guy and wished to make sure he was happy and content but getting the help he needed, so for close to 80 years this pup has been his Dad's daily reminder to make the world adaptable for kids like him,

Bugs has a Donor kid with Honey Bunny, at the end of her career in 1993, she wanted to be a single mom but was having trouble he offered as a good friend wanting to help her realize her dream thus Louis was born, however he was born deaf, even though when he was about 5-6 years old they moved away, Bugs had already adapted to his kids needs,

So the animals of Flow would be taught how to sign and the crews would be adaptive to this with their interviews and other things, they treat them as mute toons unless they have other disabilities included

So when speaking to them they can just call out to them from across the set and these Toons can still turn around because they can hear and just sign to communicate.

And yes depending on how the Toon is formed the sign language can be varied and different with these guys being more animalistic they'd be taught sign language that was developed for Toons that don't have full human hands and paws instead,

Don't Lose Your Head is my Max dies before Gaul AU attempt! Technically, I think I am done with the first draft (it's only around 1K words), but it's in need of a major overhaul as it's kind of all over the place. I'm letting it sit until I can look at it with fresh eyes.

Gaul's basically very confused about emotions. There's a dead body getting used as a prop, and for once, it isn't Felix! Yay! It is Max though, so still a Ravinstill. Coriolanus is also there of course. There isn't too much else to this fic without just telling you the fic lol!
