Hi, I identified as Genderfluid until recently I discovered Bigender and I feel like maybe it fits me better but I'm not sure yet so I have some questions for you hat'll hopefully give me some more insight.
What's the difference between Bigender and Bigenderfluid or are they the same thing?
How can one if they only experience 2 genders or more?
How can one tell if they're how much of a certain gender they feel (Genderflux) ?
Thank you in advance.
Hi! Ill do my best to explain
1. Bigender is the experience of having two (or more, depending on the person) genders. This can be male and female or any combination of binary and nonbinary or any other genders. This can also mean they are simultanious, as in for me i feel bith like a male but also as a female. They also dont have to be the same amount (such as one is 70% and the other gender is 30%) or they can be fluid or flux (which is harder to differentiate and i will explain next) overall bigender feels like having two gendered feeling inside of you
Genderfluid is the experience of switching between genders, an example is one day someone feels female, the next day male, the next day nonbinary or other genders. They can switch genders within and hour, each day or even in years. The best way to explain it is the changing of flavours of the single gender you have
Bigender is the amount of stationary gendered feeling you have at a time whereas genderfluid is a singular gendered feeling but that gender changes flavour
Bigenderfluid is a combination of both, so instead of having two stationary genders at a time, you have two genders that change flavours, or maybe one is stationary and one changes flavour
2. Its hard to know if you experience two genders or more, honestly its just up to how you yourself interpret your feelings and how you want to define them. For me, i enjoy expressing as bith a male and female and identify with both so i declared myself to be bigender
3. Genderflux is another weird one to pin down. It is the amount of gender you feel at a time. Id say this is harder because sometimes you just dont think abiut your gender so it is hard to tell if your gender is flux or if you just dont think about it much. The most easiest blatant way to explain it i guess is if my gender is female, then at times, i feel fully female, i identify with other women and maybe i want to express femininely, but then ither times i feel less female so i feel less of a connection to that group of people, or i dont feel like expressing it as much, and then sometimes i can feel agender which means i dont feel any fendered feeling at all, so im mostly indifferent to it or i dont have a connection to other women or dont feel like them. And similarly to genderfluid, this can change between hours, minutes, days, years, whatever and is also a single gendered feeling that changes so it can be hard to tell the difference between them, that is why i identified as bignederfluid before i realised the difference in how i felt and started to identify as bigenderflux. Genderflux is a single gender that fades in and out
And again, bigenderflux is the combination of the two, so i have two stationary gendered feelings, and instead of changing flavours, they fade in and out, or someone could have one stationary gender and one that fades in and out
And of course someone could have a combination of the three, fluidflux being a single gendered feeling that changes flavour and also fades in and out etc.
Hope this helped!

Neopronoun users:
Im curious as to what made you decide to use your set of pronouns. What was different about them? What made them click? Are they linked to a specific type of feeling?
Ill go first,
My neopronouns are xe/xer
I chose them because personally for myself i do not like themed pronouns or any that are linked to a specific thing like noun pronouns are for example. Xe/xer just felt right. I found that i tend to use it more on days where i might feel more agender. Also i wanted pronouns that encapsulate vith the male and female part or me.
The set always felt red to me, the xe reminded me of he and the xer reminded me of her (i know xe pronouns are usually xe/xyr or xe/xem but i dont like the strong r sound and xem feels too muh like them and i hate they/them for myself)
Ze/zir also has the same sound but idk, felt really yellow and also i just didn't like the shape of it, didn't work. The X just felt like a placeholder or a blank space, kinda like how my gender felt sometimes.

I guess before i was just apathetic to how i presented myself. Not really discomfort but i recently realised that before i figured myself out, i did not care how i looked for example. I just wore a tshirt and leggings but then once i figured i was bigender, i started discovering that i do like to dress up and such
That is one example.
But its stuff like that
Can I get some insight from trans folks who don’t experience dysphoria?
#I used to think I didn’t have dysphoria until I started medically transitioning#then I was like….oh#oh I was just always uncomfortable I couldn’t tell the difference#wondering how that works for other folks#< op tags#yeah#similar to that#tbb.qna

hi! i come from @/yourbigendergremlet-temp, in which you made a post detailing how u found out xe/xer pronouns felt right for you (and asking other neopronoun users the same question: how'd you find out your pronouns fit for you? or smth along the lines of that. verbatim.).
you mentioned how it (xe/xer pronouns) felt red, and how ze/zir prns felt yellow and you didnt like the shape of it and thus you dont use it.
i came to ask: do you have grapheme-color synesthesia?
(sounds mighty like it, but u dont gotta answer this if you wouldnt like to) (apologies, this question isnt abt pronouns or gender but im immensely curious 🙏🏽🙏🏽)
(Dw im flad to answer any questions)
Ive never actually thought about that properly before but maybe? I have associations of colours that letters or numbers are that have always stayed consistant but idk what exactly people who have it see so i dont know how to tell? Like im typing now (on dark mode) and the writing is clearly white, but letters do have their own feeling of colours. For example: 2 is yellow, 4 is dark blue, 6 is green, 7 is brownish, 8 is blue, 9 is purple, 0 is sorta blackish, m is red, v is orange, h is pale yellow brown, t is blue, w is pale blue, g is green, u is hot pinkish etc and there are a lot of letters and numbers rhat while i cant put a finger on what exactly it feel like, they do each have their own sensations and sorlour that i just cant articulate as a definitive colour. It also makes sense that 1 would be pink... but i dont like it lol
Ze/zir and xe/xer to me look/feel like this:
Also individual words dont have each letter be their colour but instead each word has an overall feeling/colour/sensation(?) But longer numbers e.g. (randomly typed rn) 2974.6 has each number sort of be their distinct thing but like on an overlay layer as if you put a uniting colour iver it so they sorta look similar or united? Like in different contexts at that moment different numbers or letters can sort of slightly change colour, say 9 is purple, but i have a yellowish wash over it so it looks closer to black like when you put a coloured filter over other colours
Also sometimes the colours can overlap, like wednesday is pale blue, yellow and sometimes pale green and they are all distictly their own thing and all consistantly there all the time, as if i jave 3 solid, opaque layers with each colour but i can feel them all there at the same time and while the pale blue alayer feels on top i still feel it distinctly the other colours
(Also visualising the layers looks like 3d layers of like paper or something on top of each ither, i can feel the thickness)
As for shape, idk, sometimes the shape really just does impact how i feel about something like this. While i cant put a finger on what sort of shape ze/zir is, it just doesnt feel comfortable, especially with the combination of the colour
Also funny thing, im british so spell "colour" with a "u" while is america its spelled "color" and ive never liked the american spelling becuase i could always feel the distinct lack of the "u" in the shape of it, it feels the same length as the british spelling (even though tuped out its shorter) but the letters were just feeling too round and weird and the overall colour or the american spelling feels too brown without the colour of the u to counteract it so it always feels so weird for me to ever spell it "color"
I most likely have space-time synesthesia because i do see caladar year as a ring around me and other time things as specific shapes even though i wouldnt be able to put a finger on what exactly it looks like or wouldnt be able to draw it but it is all seen as like a 3d shape around me. Like december is blue and behind me to my right etc
Sorry this kinda went long winded because i was kinda figuring it out as i was typing this so it kinda went on a sorta long ramble lol, hope this was interesting?
#i love thinking about perception and how people experience the world from a sensationary experience its so interesting#tbb.rambles#tbb.asks#tbb.qna#ze/zir#xe/xer#neopronouns#grapheme-color synesthesia#synesthesia#space-time synesthesia#colours#colors#shape#space#3d#pronouns#words#numbers#letters#bigender#lgbt#genderflux

Hi, just wanted to ask a few questions here- What's the difference between bigender and bigenderfluid?
How can I tell if I actually like guys or just wanna be a guy?
How can I tell if I really wanna be a guy or do I just looking like a guy?
That'll be all, Thank you in advance ^^
Hi!
I've already answered questions 1 in this post so you can go look at that
2 and 3. Honestly i am sort of out of my depth in this one because i'm not really sure what actual attraction feels like so its difficult to make the difference. Im sorry if this isn't a good explanation but i will try my best, but maybe if this doesn't explain it well you could ask anither blog?
For me i am not sure if ive ever actually felt any attraction to others so i guess the simplest way is to figure out what that feels like and then differentiate qeather you feel that when you see a male or not but i wouldn't really know
Another way to see is if you feel euphoria by imagining yourself as that person or as a male. I guess this is the point you start physically experimenting with how you look. Try on different clothes, imagine your hair cut shorter or hold it so it apprears shorter and tips like that which you can find online and on youtube and see if it makes you feel comfortable or good about yourself. It can also feel like real whiplash at first if you've been identifying as a girl your whole life so it may feel weird but if you keep your mind open and think about it more, you can see if it warms up on you or not
And i guess that way you figure out if you want to look like a boy, i also find it difficult to know if i want to BE a boy because the way i define my gender is what i express as while i dont actually feel like i am specifically a gender
Im sorry this is not a good explanation or advise and you should probably go ask someone else who might have a better understanding than me because how i experience gender feels more abstract to put into words like that so i cant answer from my own experience

More about the bedroom
Masterpost
Me:
To be more specific on what i identify as, i am a bigenderflux male&female and prefer to have my pronouns alternating, but using one set if fine. My gender changes in intensity. This means that some days i feel more female than male, vise versa, both fully male and female, only one or the other or sometimes even neither. However, my genders remain as female&male.
I do not like they/them pronouns in reference to myself. Please refrain from it.
If you want to use other neos or even mirror pronouns for me, go for it. I still haven't fully decided on what i like so maybe ill like something i hadn't thought of before
OCs you might see often on this blog:
This is a gremlet, a species that i made
This one here is the one i use as my avatar and he uses he/him pronouns, he currently doesn't have a name
Here is Toby, although not one i use as my avatar, she might be seen from time to time. His pronouns are she/he and is mainly used for self projection. She's an offshoot of the gremlets and also the one in my pfp
Violetclaw is my old warrior cats OC. She was created years before i figured out i was bigender and uses she/her pronouns. Im not really big in the warriors fandom anymore and you might see her less but she is still one of my main OCs that i used to use as my avatar and you might see her every once in a while
Name/Pronoun Checks:
All checks will be tagged under #tbb.checks
In your ask, please state that you want a check and the name and pronouns you would like. If you want seperate checks, specify which pronouns and names to uuse in each.
She/her he/him they/them and it/its pronouns can be given like that but if you want a different set of pronouns, please give the full set (they/them/their/theirs/themself)
If you use multiple sets, i will try to alternate every other sentence
I will write a personalised paragraph based on what you give me so if you would like, you can include an intrest or two, otherwise ill make a general paragraph
Faq:
Check out my #tbb.qna tag for more
Before you ask, you're valid and can use whatever label and pronoun you like no matter your experiences

What is Bigender?
Bigender is the experience of having two genders. These can be a combination from binary genders, nonbinary genders, xenogenders, demigenders, fluid genders, agender, or anything else, about whatever combination feels right for you. There are other bigender labels like bigenderfluid/bigenderflux which is where one or both of your genders change in either gender or intensity
What is Multigender?
Multigender is the experience of having more than just one gender. Common identities under this umberella include: bigender, trigender, polygender and pangender. Each one of these also include their own microlabels. These genders can be any combination of gender identity and are not just limited to male/female/nonbinary
Any identity can use whatever pronouns desired, even if it doesnt "match" the gender

Also do you know which version of the bigenderflux flag is the most popular one? Which one do you like best?
Personally i do not tend to like combined pride flags, and the bigenderflux ones especially do not appeal to me.
In flags, i prefer them to be siimpler and more memorable/recognisable (like how the trans flag is) so i like having fewer rows (5 being the max since more feels like too much) and combined flags tend to always go way over that, trying to represent all of both flags so i dont like them.

This is the most common bigenderflux flag i think and i think you can see what i mean by its too busy. And while there are many made by other people, they tend to not appeal to me much either, as well as the fact that most people probably wouldbt recognise it, which is somethig i personally want in my flags. There is this really lovely one i saw on reddit but i still wouldnt use it myself although i do love the colours

I prefer to use the two seperate flags instead of a combined flag, and even then the most used flags dont feel right to me in terms of meaning behind it, i still find them good because of the colours. I do want to redesign them eventually but do not have the motivation at the moment to do so at the moment, i might eventually. In the meantime i will continue to use the more popular/my favorite genderflux and bigender flags

As a bigenderflux person, what i am trying to do is binding (i know its painful and hard, and i want to get trans tape since i hear that is less hard on your body, and it lets you go out shirtless and swim in it, so that is an option, but once im safe to buy and apply it for long periods of time without suspicion)
And for hrt, see what things you want from it. I personally want the body hair and deeper voice, but sometimes i like my higher voice so what i am planning to do is voice train myself so that i have the option to go between both voices. Its hard, but it will be worth it.
And i also plan to start using those hair growth products once im away and safe to be able to do it, and research what works well then, or let it grow out naturally
I guess see what temporary alternates you want from hrt, and see what you can do for them so that you always easily have the option to go back.
Really hope this helps, and good luck with deciding what you want to do, and of course research everything thoroughly before you start doing/using them! And of course its normal and fine ti feel this way
need advice / small vent
guys is it normal as a genderfluid (possibly demiboy) person to want to look more masculine and not have stupid meat spheres on their chest but also be too scared to go through hrt or surgery bc medical stuff is waaaay too scary?
like, right now i wanna be a man SOOOOO bad and i hate hearing ppl call me a girl but im too scared to even consider actually doing something about it in the future bc what if the fluidity hits and i start feeling feminine again and end up regretting it all way down the line
i mean i can’t do anything now but im still torn between medically transitioning in the future and regretting it or never medically transitioning and feeling the same amount of dysphoria plus feeling like a coward does anyone have advice?

whats a gremlet?
Why hello there anon!
Gremlets are just a little four eyed, round headed, humanoid species that i created, i use a main one as my avatar and the other (in my pfp) for my self projection. You can see them both on this post
Thnx for the ask!

@solarcitymelodies
As a bigenderflux person (formerly identified ad bigenderfluid) i personally like to use bigenderflux as my main terms, while others i identify as are more broad/umberella categories, since they sound fun
Such as: gender nonconforming (gnc for short), genderqueer and multigender for example
(Ill be looking at that list though, would love to hoard more terms (lol))
back again! I was here a bit ago asking abt the bigenderfluid label and I can't seem to find a flag for it anywhere 😭 am I just silly or what?
I was also kinda wondering if there were any more labels I might fall under just for funsies-- bc I seem to experience being bigenderfluid differently from most folks. I've seen one person say in their experience it's more like the way people use the bisexual label, as in two or MORE genders, which sounds a lot like me :3 it's difficult to explain but that's the best description I've got, really...
There are many bigenderfluid flags on this wiki page for starters!
This link shows a bunch of bigender labels and this huge list has a lot of multigender labels in general. I wouldn't really know any specific labels to show you unless I had more details.
For me, I consider bigender to be two or more genders, and I just call it bigender. You could definitely use bigenderfluid on its own for whatever reason you want to, but I totally get wanting to try out some fun new labels that are a little more specific. Feel free to reach out again and I can try to help! - 💙💚

Actually bigender means the experience of having two genders (or more depending on the person)
While male + female bigender experiences are more common, it also can be a combination of binary, nonbinary, fluid/flux, demi, xeno, abinary/trinary or agender genders
Its a common misconception but it is important to correct that
-yourbigendergremlet ::)
what does bigender mean?
Someone who identifies as bigender is someone is simultaneously male and female! Hope this helped!
