An idea for the Discworld fandom: transmasc Moist Von Lipwig. Listen! It's obviously not backed up by canon, but the ideas and implications of trans Moist are super fun.
The only suggestion I've found that Moist is inherently a men's name on the disc is a throwaway line in Night Watch and that still leaves the possibility that it's gender-neutral, and that Moist could be Moist Von Lipwig's birthname which he abandoned! (and then returned to, which is also not unheard of for real life trans people) Anonymity is a MAJOR part of his character so the parallels between canon Moist and being trans in real life (especially for those of us who are stealth!) are very noticeable to me as a trans guy myself, but I think that could easily be taken a step further since there's nothing I've found which suggests he isn't trans either, and the notion of a trans moist is just super duper cool as well as just making lots of sense??
As trans people we're all familiar with the notion of moving on with your life as a perceivably different person, and while, unlike convicted conmen, we don't necessarily keep our pasts a secret like Moist does, the distance internally is definitely something relatable and I just think it's a shame that trans Moist is not a common headcanon especially given the extra context it would give his life as Albert Spangler vs his life in Ankh Morpork. Also I would like to see moist with top surgery scars pretty please because that would be awesome.

I just went down a tiny rabbit hole bc I'm rereading all the Discworld books and I couldn't remember Esk ever being mentioned again after Equal Rites. She's apparently in I Shall Wear Midnight but I haven't read that one yet, and I thought it was so weird she wasn't in Sourcery, especially considering she was a step away from having the same power as Coin (Esk being the 8th kid of an 8th kid and Coin being the 8th of an 8th of an 8th)
I kinda wonder what would happen if there was a wizard born that was 8th for the 8th generation, since twice is "super powerful wizard" and three is "sorcerer", I feel like they would get exponentially more powerful

KIDDADS GENDER HEAD CANONS.
The question asked is “what are your pronouns?”
Terry
Pre-s1: “I’m a MAN. Can’t you tell?” [cis]
Post-s1: “oh, uh, he…him? Right? That’s how I say it?” *looks to person for confirmation*
Adult Terry: “Uh… They/He. Yeah.”
Gender identity: “I honestly don’t know”
Grant
Pre-s1: *non committal shrug*
Post-s1: “he, she, they, whatever. I don’t care.”
Adult Grant: “I use he/him. You?”
Gender Identity: cis, but experimented as a teen with multiple different pronouns just thrown in casually. Ended up preferring he/him
Nick / Narcolas / Nicky
Nick: “he/him, but they is fine too. Just. Not she.”
Narcolas: “I’m a man. ….Can’t you tell?” [binary trans hating on non-binary trans people to avoid being hated himself]
Post s1 Nicky: “I-uh… I think I used- use he/they.”
Adult Nicky: “He/They.”
Gender Identity: Trans Masc as both Nick and Narc, but narc was a bit non-binary exclusive in his youth. Nicky uses He/him, but the ‘they’ is for the fact that he is quite literally three people.
Lark
Pre-s1: “CHAOS.”
Post-s1: “CHAOS. Also he/him”
Adult Lark: “chaos. But he/him is fine.”
Gender Identity: doesn’t give a shit what pronouns you use for him, but he/him is the least difficult one, so that one’s fine.
Sparrow
Pre-s1: “CHAOS!!”
Post-s1: “whatever pronouns a wolf used!!”
Adult Sparrow: “Oh, that’s not important, what pronouns do YOU use?” *has no clue what pronouns*
Gender Identity: Originally was just copying larks response, and then using a wolf as an example of gender. Then learned wolves are all genders, and now has no clue what gender Sparrow is. Refuses to spend even a single minute thinking about themself, so will not correct you if you use literally anything [would probably favor she/her, but doesn’t want to cope with the thought of not matching lark]

Terry and Buddy Griffith being supportive siblings:
Buddy letting Terry wear his clothes, teaching him about guys and how to pass as one
Buddy answering the phone for Terry (because he doesn't know when he needs to answer with a fem or masc voice)
Terry reassuring Buddy about his love life
Buddy jumping in to save Terry (despite Greg Tolan being older and much stronger)
Buddy being happy for Terry when his love interest shows up
