Just warning in advance -- I have an exam coming up this week and two papers to review. Polls should continue as normal but reveals might be delayed again.

I also haven't answered quite a few clarifying asks in a good minute. I plan to answer them all in one post and release it sometime this week. Going forward, I'm going to do that with all rule-clarification asks (for both better post organization, and because I think putting it all in one place at a time may be helpful for some) and will post that once a week or every other week depending on how many I receive. All these clarifications will be put on a dedicated page sometime soon.

Ahhhhh hi, yes, hello!!!! Same same same!!! I was so delighted to receive this ask and I am so glad you share my obsession!!

If you're interested, I do have some critical background:

- They're Marshall Commander shorts. They say Marshall Commander across the ass.

- Bly, in possession of a discretionary fund ""for trooper morale,"" got them as a gag gift for each of his batchmates.*

- Cody (unfuckwithable) wears them unironically, unselfconsciously, daily, for his morning workout (....on the days he gets a morning workout.)

- It is widely understood that Cody is at his best and most approachable at this time. In the moments between his cooldown and hitting the sonics, Cody is in possession of serenity, mercy, benevolence. He's in a good mood.

- This is the time to come to him with. Just. The most aggravating issues. No matter how nightmarish the fuckup, Marshall Commander Shorts Cody can see the shape of the solution. No crisis will rattle his calm.

- Inevitably, someone shares this with Obi-Wan. Though not, perhaps, the full context.

- I think you know how this ends.

- Obi-Wan just isn't prepared, I think. The first time he sees the Marshall Commander Shorts. I think Cody is flushed and shirtless, thighs out, drinking his water, toweling off his face. I think he sees Obi-Wan and smiles. I think Cody so rarely smiles. It's like 💀💀 a dream. It's like he's dreaming.

This might be controversial, but my established buddie headcanon is that their sex life is pretty transformative for both of them over time. It's starts out pretty standard fare until Eddie stumbles upon Buck's stash of sex toys. They experiment and Eddie gets curious to branch out and explore things he's always repressed. Buck, on the other hand, gets gobsmacked by how emotional he gets during sex sometimes, when he's mostly viewed it as a fun/horny activity in the past.

honestly yeah i do feel like you're onto something that sex with eddie is the first time buck has ever allowed himself to feel truly emotional/vulnerable during sex, like. i believe he could have had emotional sex with abby, but that it would've been more about HER emotions than his (esp after her mother died). with taylor idk i feel like their sex life was probably more just fun/horny since that's kinda how they started out and taylor doesn't strike me as an emotional eye-contact-heavy missionary sex kind of girl. and he hasn't been with anyone else where he got to that "in love" emotional stage with.

so yeah, i completely agree with this take. i think he's completely not expecting just how emotional it gets (i am definitely a buck cries during sex with eddie at LEAST once truther) and it just. completely bowls his over. like did you guys KNOW sex could be like this????? he is DYING to tell people how amazing and life-changing it is and Maddie is like. can you please tell LITERALLY anyone else. Chim is like yeah count me out. Bobby is like. sorry actually i think i lost all my hearing. temporarily. hen is already on the other side of the fire station.
