You giggle tiredly, already halfway to sleep.

Jason Todd doesn't get to use his hands for gentle things very often in general. But he'd be damned if he wasn't gentle for every second he had with you.

"Makin' shapes?" You peeked one eye open, seeing the admiration in Jason's face as his pointer finger ghosted across your cheeks, moving from freckle to freckle to beauty mark to freckle.

Jason hummed an agreement in response. He trailed his finger over your lips briefly before moving it down to your chin, across your jaw, and down your neck, ending on your shoulder where he started to trace more.

"What kinda shapes?" You asked.

A smirk pulled at Jason's lips, "Sixth dimensional ones."

You faked a gasp, "Six dimensional ones?"

"Yeah."

"What talent you have," You smiled. "It's hot."

Jason snorted, "Why thank you."

Hey. The Finders have no idea that Bonzle was captured. Fritz and Spitz are still waiting, playing video games in the Monastery, for Cole to bring their sister out of hiding now that the blood moon is over. Geo is still sitting by the window, watching and waiting for a dragon on the horizon to return his kid safe and sound. Cole took a very unsure Bonzle, assured them all everything would be okay, and they'd be back soon. He promised he'd find a way to protect her.

Don't think about how they'll smile when Cole finally trudges back, happy to know he's okay. Especially don't think about the Finders stopping, looking out over the group, and how Cole can't look them in the eyes when they turn to him and ask; where's Bonzle?

I finally listened to the latest episode of the silt verses ("latest" meaning "it came out in january, I've just been really busy") and I don't want to be negative but I liked faulkner better when he was unhinged. No more pseudo-therapy or painfully honest conversations for these characters, they need to march to their doom being lonely, unfulfilled, and tragic.

so i mentioned an omori x furina au? stay tuned i'm gonna very slowly work on character references in the event there is demand (some people proved there was demand for the au soooo), but in the meantime, here's the general idea:

in-line with genshin canon, actually! this takes place just post-fontaine AQ, when furina's a just a little bit traumatised and trying her best to hold herself together.

so she ends up creating her version of white space, where she can just forget all her worries, all her troubles, and have fun and adventures. the thing she's 'forgotten', the 'truth', is what she wants. who she wants to be.

somehow, somewhere, she's joined by three other companions (she doesn't know if she's made them up or not). there's a boy who tells her to call him WANDERER. there's a girl, maybe his little sister, goes by DREAMER. that last boy doesn't have a name- she calls him AEOLUS.

there's one more, another girl who looks like her but who has long hair. she says her name is FOCALORS, but furina always calls her 'mirror'. she loves the other girl dearly, appreciates her company and the tea parties she sets up for them, but she can never quite bring herself to call the other girl by her name.

(if you're looking for character role equivalents, wanderer = aubrey, venti = kel, nahida = hero, focalors = mari and basil both! furina = omori/sunny, of course. props to @alchemania for giving me the idea to include other characters, by which i mean wanderer, which then got me thinking about the actual story)
