As someone who knows nothing about Oberon but loves your art: where do I start if I want to understand your love for the man?

oh man. oh jeez ( wheezing ) haha okay. uhm. erhm. i didnt expect to get this far uhm ( shaking )

so here's the problem: oberon is from lostbelt 6, a chapter in hit gacha game fate/grand order. you can play f/go if you want and chug along to lb6 - which is unfortunately a chapter 6~ years into the game's main story. but i cannot with any sort of conscious recommend a gacha game to people.

so playing the game is one option. option two is checking out atlas academy database, a website that has all of fgo's stories and such conveniently catalogued! click 'main story' on the top of the page and it'll give you just, well, the main story.

if you want to watch the stories themselves - which at least for lostbelt 6 i highly recommend because the OST is amazing - there's also this commentary free LP on youtube that i've linked to people!

that being said that is still a lot of words to get to lostbelt 6, so- if you don't want to read everything pre-lostbelt 6, i recommend going to the typemoon wiki and reading the summary on each story pre lostbelt 6 ( so, up to lostbelt 5.5 ). just click on the link in each chart and you can find a detailed beat-by-beat summary of each chapter.

i've been told that, in all honesty, that lostbelt 6 is still enjoyable and easy to understand without full context for the outside story beats. it certainly reads like a fairly self-contained story outside a few things needed to understand why some characters are here in the first place, so i've been considering writing up a summary on just those key points / the premise to the lostbelts so that people can read that and then jump right into lostbelt 6 and love oberon...

How do you draw bodies/hands on bodies? I’ve been trying to draw similar to you but I’m struggling!

Haha, I reference my own hands a lot!!

I often draw some shapes to get a feel for the body and then a simple top sketch to "map things out". For example, here's the sketch of my latest Sorrela piece, and some hand sketches I've drawn!

My hands kind of have a square shape with sliiiiightly rounded fingers!

I also don't mind if you want to trace over some of my pieces to practice! I just wouldn't, like, post any traced art or anything haha (sprite/screenshot edits are not considered "traced art" here)

Last song: Last night, the final song I sang was 始まりのフアンタジア (hajimari no fantasia) by fine with my friends. All the overlapping parts are pretty satisfying, I love harmonizing too. (Although my favorite thing we sang together last night was Hello Windows by halyosy because everyone praised my singing the harmonies even though I wasn't feeling too confident in my vocal quality. Even if it was flattery, I'm a bit happy).

Favorite color: I like sage green. Other desaturated shades of green are nice too. But I don't know if it's my favorite? Maybe? I also like bright warm colors that aren't too harsh (like a sunflower yellow is nice, or...).

Last book: Do I count the book I was reading in the bookstore that I couldn't buy? It was a bright yellow cover, in the Education section. I attempted to find it right now, I think it was Like, Literally, Dude: Arguing For the Good in Bad English. It was really interesting, but I didn't even finish the preface before I had to leave. If it doesn't count then my last book was Volume 2 of ガンバレ！中村くん‼ (Go For It, Nakamura!) ... If that doesn't count because it's a manga then it was 悪魔の羽根 by 乃南アセ(akuma no hane by Nonami Ase) but I got frustrated because I'm illiterate. (I swear I will finish it). My roommate has Volume 1 of Lout of the Count's Family in English (novel version, not comic) and I was planning to start it soon as well. *Avoiding eye contact with other books I haven't finished*

Last movie: If movies I only watched part of count, then I believe it was Sonic 2 (a few weeks ago). I watched the last 20 or 30 minutes because my roommates were watching it before I came downstairs. It was pretty entertaining actually! If not... Then... Oh the Muppets Christmas Carol? Last month. Very good.

Last TV show: My roommate was browsing anime and she said "Do you know this one, is it good?" and it's was 佐々木と宮野 (Sasaki and Miyano) and I. I... Anyways it's somehow cuter than I remembered. I l*ve them. But we only watched episode 1 before I had to go to bed. We also watched episode 1 of 織田シナ��ン信長 (Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga). Very silly no notes. The last show I watched to completion... Was probably my rewatch of 30歳まで童貞だと魔法使いになれるらしい (I'm not translating the title because I'm mildly embarrassed but You Can Guess..or maybe you can read it). I watched it in 3 days because I was feeling really normal (lie). That one is also very fluffy and cute though.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Lately I'm really into savory snacks and food. I really like cheese flavored snacks. I used to be firmly team sweet, but as I get older I find most sweet things too cloying without a different flavor to balance it out. Spicy is nice too, I just don't prefer it.

Last thing I searched online: The name of a company I was told might be interested in hiring me. I gave a quick look at their webpage and location before emailing my application to their HR. I'm not leaving this year without a new job, believe me.

Current obsessions: My little internal fantasy land where I'm setting up little drama/action/romance plots. I don't know if I'd call that an obsession as much as it is a habit and an impulse. If someone knows how to stop daydreaming, please send me help, haha. My current primary interest I'd guess is just singing in general, studying, but also Alien Stage. It's easy to keep up with it since updates aren't too large. And I love the music! If you look at my blog you will also see that I just enjoy stories that feature men who like (or just have intense, not explicitly romantic relationships with) men, and maybe probably they're tragic somehow. I'm kind of lousy at reading and watching shows and all that, though.

If Francis happened to be severely injured or 💀, Nacha would not only be sad but also feel some kind of guilt, realizing that these monsters could attack him anytime, and he'd be gone without knowing she still cared for him, and has thought of trying to talk to him again, get to be in better terms, maybe even leave all their fights in the past.

She should rlly get to him asap, all the neighbors she's talked about it have told her the same thing, even Anastacha noticed on her own. That's why whenever she's with her dad, she tried to bring up her mom to the conversation, but Francis is just as afraid as Nacha to talk about each other and changes the topic immediately.

Hi! I'm going around asking some of my favorite monster focused blogs this question, because I'd love to know everyone's takes! (So you might see this ask on other blogs) I saw in a reddit thread once that different authors have different comfort levels regarding types of comments on the adult content they make. What type of comments do you prefer for the smut you make? Details about how it reflects the characters dynamics? Particular lines we liked? How much a part about it made us blush? People thirsting a bit more explicitly over the monster in question in the comments? Or maybe just a general "that was hot!" and leave it like that?

aw, thanks for including me! i did see a bunch of people with this ask when you first sent it, but i've been swamped so I'm super late to the party lol

personally, i'm happy to receive any comments, adult content (reading or in comment) included!

i will say the same general thing i'd say to any comments which is the more specific you are, the more specific my response will be. if the comment is general (that was great, loved the story, the ending scene was so hot, i love [character] etc) then there's not a ton for me to say in response except to try to communicate how happy i am you shared that with me and say thanks - which i do love to say because thats all true.

buuut if you do list of specifics like character dynamics, fav lines, spiciest moments, why this monster in particular is doing it for you, then i get to learn more about what my audience likes/wants (and mayb lean more into that in the future) and i can share or respond more with why that happened how it did or how i came up with that part or that i love that line too and wrote it ages before i properly got the scene because it came to at the beginning etc

those types of comments definitely are a bit more fun to answer and easier to remember - and will make me smile most when i go back through my treasure hoard of comments for motivation or a pick me up when i'm feeling down/frustrated with my writing.

i'd also say, if u send me an ask/comment on smut, if you want to specify for me to answer it privately (for ur own sake), i 100% will. this is just my warning that my default is public answer unless told otherwise lol
