Hi! I got an inquiry regarding my Third Life Gachapon so I want to make a statement for anyone who has the same concerns and such!

This is actually quite common in gacha spaces, especially in the asian side of it. It was brought to my attention that not everyone is aware of this concept, so I want to apologise for assuming so and in return, explain!

Even though there is the option to purchase a bundle in order to get a single guaranteed desired outcome, I understand that some may find it excessive to buy more than needed, and is averse to purchasing a single charm as it's a random outcome.

So I do want to say:

You are allowed to find people in this community who wants other designs from you, and forming a group together that can total up in purchasing all 14 designs. Everyone in the group will make their respective orders, then someone can elect themselves to collect everyone's order number before emailing the list that states which design will be distributed to which order, to me!

This way, it will be possible to get your desired character for the price of one through a collective group effort!

I will briefly write an example under the cut of how this concept works.

Please note that this method should not be confused with the full set bundle discount as this option only applies to those buying the entire set in a single order to a single mailing address.

Feel free to ask any questions if you're still unsure about this!

Person A happens to find Person B, C & D through social media, and agreed to form a group since their wants all add up to 14 designs. Everyone will place their own order for the number of charms they want (Person D orders 2, Person B orders 5, etc) Person A will collect everyone's respective order numbers, write down everyone's desired charms beside each order number, then compiles it to a list to email me!

Would you say it's common/normal/accepted for converts to change their legal name to their hebrew name? I've been thinking about doing it after I'm officially Jewish but I keep being told that it's weird/not recommended

One of the lay leaders in my shul legally changed his name to match his hebrew name after he converted in the '80s or so. Most people seem to match their secular name with their new hebrew name, so it's less common to do the opposite (make your secular name the same as your hebrew name). I don't see why it wouldn't be acceptable unless your name is obviously jewish enough that it might be a liability in non-jewish spaces.

So, I'd say it's not common, but it isn't as though it's forbidden.

1. A code name is not duplicative of a code name already issued

2. A code name is not a vulgarity or profanity including a swear or curse word, or scatological term, not usually displayed in the community for general viewing.

3. A codename is not obscene or otherwise contains material of sexual suggestiveness in that it refers explicitly or by euphemism to a sexual body part, a sex act, or the availability for sex

(I’m not actually a bot though I’m a real human person.)

You can submit canonical or fanmade operator names- If it’s a fanmade name, hit us with some background! If your operator is a canon character, you can either submit the name by itself or you can write the reasoning in character too. Our lovely HR representative will fill in the rest.

Ground rules:

No real-life slurs (unless you’re like, one of two operators who exist in this game) (in which case, you know who you are and localization should change your name)

Maximum of five different operators per ask

Since these are forms the characters are filling out, soft character limit of ~50 for each explanation. I’ll hold myself to this as well.

If you do not want to be used in a fic, drawn, etc. add an “X” at the end of the ask. I will also tag it accordingly.

Might add more as we go along- I’ve never run an in-character blog before so we’ll see how this goes.

I was told by someone that I couldn’t call myself a transsexual because I had to go off T for health reasons and I haven’t had any gender affirming surgeries yet since I’m poor and disabled. Is this true? What are like, the requirements to be a transsexual? /gen

The requirements to be transsexual: to identify as transsexual

This might seem too... straightforward, but genuinely, medical transition is so complex and individual that it's worthless to make it so ridged. There are so many reasons you have to stop some aspect(s) of transition, even if you didn't want to! That doesn't mean you never transitioned or that it's "lesser" now that you stopped.

Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, I, for one, couldn't care less if you call yourself a transsexual. To my mind, it is as political as it is an identity. Being a transsexual isn't just about your identity but also your place in this world. "Transsexual menace" isn't just a cutesy little slogan but a political battle cry. It can be an attitude about changing sex, about the lucid and plastic nature of people, and so much more.

The word transsexual was made and popularized, honestly, with the idea that we are separate from others. I think we can take this back and make it ours. We can start by actually making it our own, not the cis world's own.

Thinking about Jin Ling absolutely bored to tears by the fundamentals until he hears how beautifully Lan Sizhui plays and suddenly takes an interest (in the guqin, definitely the guqin, he’s interested in the guqin only, okay??)

Thinking about Jin Ling practicing outside of classes because he wants to impress Lan Sizhui by how much he’s improved and wants to make him proud and wants to see his face light up with a smile—I mean, what? No no no, he just wants to show initiative to learn, that’s all there is to it, nothing more. Nothing at all.

Thinking about Lan Sizhui finding Jin Ling asleep on his guqin after a night of wearing himself out with extra practice and gently waking him up to safely escort him back to his room so he doesn’t get caught by their seniors. Meanwhile, Jin Ling sleepily leans against him on the walk back to his room because it’s normal, he’s just tired, it’s obviously normal because Lan Sizhui slips his hand into his and smiles and Jin Ling’s heart feels like it’s on fire. Oh no.

Thinking about Jin Ling opening up to Lan Sizhui about his nightmares from all the trauma he’s endured and Lan Sizhui staying to play guqin for him until he falls asleep, each note chasing away every bad dream that tries to disturb him.

Thinking about them practicing guqin alone together the next day. And the day after. And the day after that—and they really are practicing but it’s a little hard to focus when Lan Sizhui keeps putting his hands over Jin Ling’s to move them to the correct strings, and Jin Ling’s face is a breath away from Lan Sizhui’s every time he leans over to help him.

It’s just guqin practice, that’s all there is to it, perfectly normal. 🩵💛

I'm not gonna lie, it's also... weird, because for the majority of my time in fandom, I've mostly done fic writing and now I definitely draw a lot more and write a lot less, and I've never really considered myself more of a visual artist in fandom, if that makes sense?

Anyway. Zombobbie is my FAVOURITE! I actually have a WIP somewhere of him and Athena's new bed... he gets fresh dirt and a formaldehyde drip to stay fresh, she gets nice sheets and a good mattress. To my mind, Zombobbie has a very intense skin care routine to stave off the rot. He doesn't want to be smelly, after all. May ends up making TikToks with him, where he shares his tips and promotes body positivity, especially for people with bad skin. Everyone loves him!!

This current arc is Valentine's Day all day until it ends but when it does we will experience a time skip...given what happened last probably be another month or so before we meet again.

Also the Voidship exists in our dreams so we stay here until we need to wake up back in our home universes.

It is possible for us to return...that is unless you die in your home universe and then you can never return.
