Wrote this from morning until night before I sleep. I've got too much brainrot to just let it stay in my head. It has around 4k words so enjoy!

John Cristopher Price was born a human in 1286 in England. Coming from a lord status, He was an honorable knight through and through, loved dearly by his subordinates and of course by the king himself, Edward I.

Price died in the battlefield against the Scots when an arrow pierced through his heart. A former vampire saw his fortitude throughout his life, and made him drink her blood, and he rose as a human no more, but a blood-hungry vampire.

No amount of weapons could kill him -- pierced, stabbed, crushed, he always comes back. His thirst for blood couldn't seem to be controlled. He could see the blood flowing through every human he saw until one night, he unconsciously controlled his wife's blood, stopping her heart, and drinking her dry.

Ever since then, the people saw him as a monster, a demonic being that would end humanity. They demanded his head and even tried to burn him alive, yet the sharpest swords by the finest blacksmiths couldn't cut his neck, and no hellfire could burn him.

Not being able to live past his mistake of murdering his own wife, Price eventually escaped and lived in solitary, roaming around the British isle.

He lived through generations, learning how to live like a human. He pushed through the churn in his stomach as he tried to eat animals and vegetables, drinking water and tea even though his tastebuds only knew bitterness. Eventually, Price earned total control of his body, finding the sweetness inside the bitterness, and regulating his own stomach acid so the food he consumes stays down.

He came back to society during the 1500s when England was under the rule of Elizabeth I. He became a farmer, earning connections and new friends, all the while trying to find his place in the middle of humanity.

Price couldn't seem to stay away from the battlefield though, as when he defended his lord's land from armed mercenaries who sought for his lord's demise, one of the Queen's people saw his potential to be one of her loyal knights in her conflict with Mary of Scots. He went overseas to Spain, France, and even Russia for her, personally knowing Elizabeth until her death.

As one of Elizabeth I's subordinates, He became a knight for the rest of the House of Stuart monarchs. After that though, his age became a suspicion among the knights, so he pretended to die in one of the battles and went back to live in solitude.

For hundreds of years he lived in a cycle. Showing up out of nowhere in the city, become a soldier, sneakily drinking the blood of his enemies when his friends’ eyes were averted, and when the people around him started to notice his unaging face or when they saw him not dying from swords, he’d flee the city for one or two generations, and then coming back again to become a soldier.

Centuries passed. Newer and deadlier weapons were invented. Of course he tried the weapons on himself, but none of them managed to send him to the afterlife.

The cycles kept going, but just as he thought he had conquered this vampire body of his, something dreadful happened.

During the height of World War I, he was one of the soldiers who were deployed to No Man’s Land. After spending weeks and even a month inside the trenches, his thirst for human blood became unbearable and started to take control of his consciousness. Despite trying to fight the urge, all he saw when he walked by his fellow soldiers and superiors was each and every pump of their bloods moving inside the veins.

One night, his thirst grew out of his control, and he attacked one of his own fellow soldiers in his sleep – his own best friend. His friend screamed as he sunk his fangs into his neck, unable to fight Price’s monstrous strength. The other soldiers inside the trench heard the terrifying scream and saw Price in his most horrid state – bright red eyes filled with nothing but insanity, fangs deep inside a fellow soldier’s neck with blood running down his chin.

As his friend’s body fell to the ground, his consciousness returned and he saw what he had done. The allied soldiers started to rain down bullets upon him, fearing that the devil himself had come up to earth, yet none of them managed to pierce him. No kind of bullet was able to go pass through his skin, and no matter how much he shouted, more explanations would only make them more terrified.

And so, in the middle of the chaos, Price used his power to control the flow of blood of every single soldier with a gun in their hands, rendering them immobile against their will. He couldn’t say anything at that point. No amount of apology would bring his friend back, and no amount of explanation would stop them from fearing him. In his sorrow, Price climbed the trenches, welcoming all the incoming bullets from the enemies with open arms, hoping to end this curse of his. Of course, it could not kill him, an eternal vampire.

With nowhere to go, Price stormed the Axis’ side of the trenches on his own, attacking the enemies, drinking the blood of anyone he could sink his teeth to. The more blood he consumed, the more powerful his control over the blood of the people around him. At that point, his body was the fullest he’s ever been with human blood.

In his most powerful state, Price stopped the heart of every enemy in his sight, instantly killing them. As fear and chaos wreaked around the enemies’ trench, the Allied’s forces started their march, only to find Price nowhere to be seen.

After that tragedy, Price lived in solitude for years, hiding in the woods and mountains, swearing to himself that he’d never consume human blood ever again, even if it belongs to his enemies. He lived in the moutains, away from civilizations, hunting for animals to live.

That is, until in 1940, Price met Sir David Stirling, a British Army officer from Scotland who had been searching for the legendary “Devil of The Trenches”. Price was initially extremely apprehensive of his intentions considering how he literally trailed a mountain to search for a legendary being – a dangerous one at that. However, when Stirling told him that he’s aware of his powers and that he's in need of special people for his mission in North Africa, Price finally relented and joined him to his first operation after the World War I tragedy.

Price fought in World War II with David and other soldiers under the name Special Air Service, "L" detachment. He became one of the key figures of winning countless battles in the North African Campaign without people noticing his powers, thanks to David’s clever ways of hiding his power and authorities as a military officer, even freeing David and the others when they were captured and became a prisoner of war. Price’s existence quickly turned into a legend, and as time went on, his powers and abilities became a highly classified information in an already secretive corps, securing his identity and even his livelihood.

Price joined the major battles that the SAS had involved themselves in, even becoming an instructor among the British Army, sharing his vast knowledge of warfares that he’s earned from experience. He currently lives in his own house in London, living among humans as a regular person, owning a calico cat named Greg.

After his mission in Urzikstan, Price expressed his proposition to Laswell about creating a task force consisting of people with special powers and abilities, who could easily and efficiently finish the missions with little to no complications, all from the depth of shadows.

BONUS : Mummy!Gaz ⚰️🧢

Throughout his career, Price had found more and more people with special powers and abilities, like the big brooding man who could travel along the darkness and disappear like a smoke, a young Scotsman who had an animalistic trait and happened to be an exhibitionist, and… A bloodless person,

Who happened to be far, far older than him.

Price found his grave, or rather, his sarcophagus in Egypt back when he fought in World War II during the North African campaign.

Price, together with David Stirling and the first members of the SAS were intercepting the Axis troops' railways and supply dumps, when he'd found an evidently colourful sarcophagus inside one of the carriages.

See, this was not a weird or odd finding, because they've received some news about the unearthing of many sarcophaguses from the Ancient Egypt throughout many parts of Africa, even the ones belonging to ancient kings and queens. With that said, this finding was not much of a surprise for Price and his teammates, it's just that they had never expected to find one themselves.

This sarcophagus, though, didn't look like it belonged to a king or a member of a noble family. Despite the eccentric colours and engravings, it's not as large and humongous like those belonging to a monarch, so the members of SAS just dismissed it as just another coffin of a civilian.

Contrary to the others, Price felt like the sarcophagus was calling to him. The feeling was similar to when he died the first time and tasted the blood of the former vampire. He was about to lift the lid and see what's inside, before he felt David's hand stopping him as another battle was about to commence.

Still, after the series of war was over and he'd settled as a human, Price visited Egypt in 1996, adamant to get some clarity about the weird feeling he got when he was near that one specific sarcophagus. He went to the research facility where the objects found were examined and preserved.

Price then went ahead and asked one of the scientists about the object, and found out that the man inside was never an Egyptian man at all, rather a young man from an Ancient African kingdom, likely the Kerma Kingdom, who traveled to Ancient Egypt as an artist. The scientist surprised Price even more when he said that the man inside likely died around 1500 BC, which was 2700 years before Price himself died.

And he thought he was old.

As they approached the sarcophagus, the scientist left Price alone with the ancient object, as he thought this visitor wouldn't be able to lift the cover which was around 500 pounds or 226 kilograms.

Obviously, it was a small feat for Price.

The vampire lifted the lid and carefully placed the massive object on the floor, and for the first time, he saw the face of the dead man.

Even though he'd long died, Price could tell of the youth in his face. The face of an artist who'd traveled a long way to neighboring kingdoms in search of beauty and inspiration, seeking to sharpen his skills and broaden his knowledge more. Alas, he died a young man.

As he thought, Price felt the calling yet again, now louder from the absence of the lid. He first contemplated about touching such an ancient, possibly fragile object, thinking that it could contain some dark magic or any supernatural powers that were beyond his already vast understanding of the world. But whatever happened to him happened, he guessed. He's virtually uninjurable, and if he somehow died, then he died. End of story.

Finally, Price made up his mind, going ahead and touched the young man's cheek.

Yellow light started to surround the mummy's body, and gradually, the embalmed parts started to change– no, regenerate, forming a bronze coloured skin. His cheeks started to become fuller and fuller each second, the bony features of his arms and legs grew larger, forming a figure of a living human.

Price felt like he was about to faint. He couldn't even remember fainting in his lifetime, but he began to understand something. This mummy - this young man - was coming alive by taking Price's own life force.

Just when Price was about to fall, he released the young man's cheek and stumbled a few steps back. He witnessed as more bright golden light surrounded his body, and how a hand that was just a rigid limb before, began to move, albeit stutteringly, and gripped the edge of his own sarcophagus.

The young man slowly sat up, twisting his neck around like he just arrived on earth, before finding Price standing a few distance away. His eyes were golden, but the parts where it's supposed to be white were coloured solid black.

The young man emerged from his own coffin, very slowly putting his legs on the cold floor. He unsurprisingly fell to the ground like a stiff baby finding ways to manage with his body, before he stood up again, looking straight at Price through half bandaged eyes.

The undead started to walk very slowly towards the vampire, stuttering his movements as one of his hand lifted like he was reaching for him. Price stood up straight and activated his blood controlling power, attempting to stop this moving corpse in its track.

The vampire thought that he'd lost his ability to control blood. He thought because he hadn't consumed any human blood in decades, his power had weakened and even disappeared for good, but that was not the case.

Price couldn't see a single drop of blood inside the young man's veins. Nor his brain, nor his lungs, liver, and intestines. His torso was empty, save for his heart that was still inside his chest, yet the organ was not beating.

After 700 years of his life, Price had found an animate object that he totally cannot control.

The wonders of the world hadn't stop surprising him, huh.

Price, starting to feel fear after so long, could only stand still and let the young man approach him.

As his face got closer and closer, Price noticed that his face was not filled with terror or any negative intentions. It was filled with… happiness?

The young man was smiling.

His hands slowly cupped Price's cheek, and just then, Price began to feel his energy depleting rapidly. He's trying to take Price's life force again!

Reflexively, the vampire swatted the mummy's hands away (which was hard and heavy as a rock).

"What the hell are you doing?!" Price shouted to the young man. The mummy was taken aback by his statements, seeming like he got confused by Price's actions. Not only that, he proceeded to look down, observing his own body and limbs, which were still wrapped with bandages in some parts.

Suddenly, the young man looked at Price and rigidly hugged Price. The vampire was startled at first, thinking that he's about to take his life force again, but nothing happened. Just a simple, warm hug.

Something Price hadn't felt for centuries.

Just then, the sound of the door opening startled the both of them. It was the scientist that had come back to check on Price, and the utter shock on the scientist's face was priceless. The sarcophagus lid was open, and the mummy that was supposed to be dead was hugging the visitor with a grin on his face.

The scientist screamed in confusion and terror in Arabic, before Price slowed the man's heartbeat, prompting him to drop down to the floor in an instant in a sleeping state. The vampire cursed under his breath upon the situation that has fallen before him, and released himself from the mummy’s hug. He then ran towards the sarcophagus and put the lid back, and then he proceeded by carrying the sleeping scientist to some unknown room where he didn’t detect any other blood pulses - the storage room. After a few minutes, Price came back to the room where the mummy was, only to see that the mummy was nowhere to be found.

Price ran out of the room in search of the young man, stopping for a moment to detect the sound of any blood pulses of the mummy, but he exclaimed because he just realized again that that young man doesn’t have any pulse at all for him to detect. So Price began to run around the corner, finally finding the young man was looking up at the other sarcophaguses on display inside the facility, seeming like he’s enamored by the intricate engravings and colours.

Price gritted his teeth in frustration and approached the bandaged man, before fireman-carrying the mummy onto his shoulders. He then ran towards the exit of the facility with the newly reanimated young man, opening his rented car and sat him down to the passenger seat, before he himself sat on the driver’s seat.

Price huffed in relief, trying to make sense of what the actual fuck just happened to him. There’s a living mummy beside him, inside this fucking rental car.

“You, listen to me.” Price began, prompting the young man to look at him.

“You were dead for 2700 fucking years. Until today, you were still dead, but it looked like I was giving you my own life force so you can walk the world of the living again. So that means you’re alive because of me, you got that?!”

The young man only tilted his head in confusion. Of fucking course. He probably only spoke the ancient African and Egyptian language. He facepalmed.

“Okay, I know what if feels like to live again after dying. It’s confusing, but shite, not for 3 and a half millenias!” He shouted before taking a deep breath. “What do I call you? What’s your name?” The 710 year old asked the 3500 year old, his finger pointing at his chest.

That last word seemed to be familiar to the mummy, so he began to mutter some vowels out of his mouth. It looked like producing voice was still extremely hard for him.

“K–ka…”

“What? Ka? Speak clearly.”

“Ke…”

Ke? Kerma? That’s the name of the kingdom he was supposedly originated from.

After a few minutes of the same vowel coming out of the mummy’s mouth, Price began, “Ka. Ka. Kal.”

“Kyle. How about that?” The young man’s black and gold eyes widen. Price swore he saw a glimmering light from his eyes like he just heard his actual name, or at least one of the vowels of his actual ancient name.

“Yeah, you like that, Kyle?” The mummy nodded slowly. “Good. I’m about to give you one hell of a ride."

"Welcome to the living world, Kyle.”

For me, Goodie is not a total goody-two-shoes. Remember that she sees a soul's inner good. She is kind, yes, but only to those she deems worthy.

Lucifer: Apparently not.

Velvette doesn't dare to make eye contact when the King of Hell crouches in front of her. He roughly takes her face with one hand to forcibly make her look up.

Lucifer: A lot of you seem to think that 'King' is just a title I was merely given.

His claws were digging into her skin so hard that she knew for a fact that she was bleeding- if not for the wet sensation then the taste of iron in her mouth was a dead giveaway.

Lucifer: I can't blame you. I was not the most present ruler, after all. But I thought I made something very clear when I dealt with that moth man.

Velvette can feel her jaw dislocate from the sheer strength. Vox wants to help but he can't move- none of them could. He looks to his side to see Alastor smiling like he just got the best gift ever- the fucking psychopath.

Lucifer: I guess one example isn't enough.

She wants to struggle but her body won't fucking move. Her head was going to explode. She was going to die right here.

Lucifer closes his hands suddenly, crushing the lower half of Velvette's face. Surprisingly, she's still alive. Lucifer removes his command on only her, letting Velvette keel over. She's saying something but it comes out garbled. She makes an attempt to crawl closer to where Vox is.

Vox is looking at her with devastation and horror. His friend is going to die. Velvette produced a high-pitched noise as she felt something stab her leg, pinning her from where she lay. Then came the burning sensation. Her leg is on fire. It's on fucking-

Lucifer: So, let me keep it simple.

He twists Lightbringer and effectively cuts off Velvette's leg.

Lucifer: I'm Lucifer Morningstar.

He swings and slices an arm.

Lucifer: The creator of the first sin.

A stab to the torso.

Lucifer: The angel that damned humanity.

Velvette can't even do so much as a whimper now. Her whole body is mutilated. If she could still see, she's sure that all that's left is a gooey red mess.

Vox averts his eyes but something compelled him to keep his head facing the mess.

Goodie: Uh uh uh! A bit rude to look away, don't you think?

Lucifer casts hellfire on the dying sinner. The king laughed as the flames grew tall. This is the power of the Devil and they will remember now of their place.

The flames dispersed leaving a charred mass. Lucifer turns to face the still-kneeling group of demons.

All nodded- he almost thought the sinner Overlords' heads would roll off from how frantic they were moving it. Except for Alastor- he kinda looks like he just experienced euphoria.

Lucifer: Good!

He claps in delight as transforms back to his normal appearance. With a snap of the King's fingers, everyone could move again. What they didn't expect was Velvette turning up in her dying place, perfectly fine, looking like nothing happened.

Vox runs forward to hold her as she shakes and cries in his chest. He gives the King a confused look.

Lucifer: What? Do you really think I killed her? Sounds counterproductive. We still have a situation at hand and you are no use to me dead.

They shuddered. His eyes say a silent reminder of how he could kill and revive them over and over again as he pleased. How he could, literally, show them what the phrase 'make your life a living hell' means.

Goodie: Up now! My sister is becoming restless.

Everyone reluctantly stands and gets in position.

Mammon: Show-off.

Leviathan: Ha! You wish you were that scary.

Goodie stands next to Lucifer, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Goodie: Remember, angel, if this fails, you must do what I have told you.

Lucifer nods. A giant red pentagram appears above the entirety of Sloth the moment he opens his palm.

Lucifer: Let's start.

Elizabeth never relished in her previous title; "Bloody Ellie". It was something that made her stomach churn when reminded of harsher times during the first Holy War. Her name shot fear through the hearts of all demon-kind and any stupid enough to face her would likely not live to tell the tale. It was not a happy time in her life, she was more slave and soldier for her mother than a daughter.

It wasn't a title she wore with pride, it wasn't one she enjoyed basking in. In fact, she had come to despise it and was overjoyed that she lived in a time of peace where that name could never be uttered again.

Instead, the people of her kingdom referred to her as the; "Goddess of Wrath."

With the disappearance of her son, who was most likely either killed by the hands of King Arthur Pendragon or being held hostage within the Chaos Realm of Camelot, all traces of the once "Good Queen Elizabeth" were gone. King Arthur hadn't just taken the kingdom's Crown Prince, he had taken the people's good and gentle queen with him.

Prince-Consort Meliodas was an empty tomb, a shell of what used to be a strong and noble man. He was nearly as lifeless as a doll, limp and useless practically. His son was the one thing that made all of his suffering for over three millennia worth going through, was the very centerpiece of his world along with his beloved wife. Prince Tristan was the king's soul, his heart walking outside of his body, and he had been /taken/. The Prince-Consort was ruined and was a dead man walking to the people of Britannia, damned to his own personal hell with the loss of his son and his once kind wife.

Queen Elizabeth, on the other hand, had never seemed more alive, but it was if she was being kept breathing by the scorching flames of /hatred/ that fueled her soul every waking second of every waking hour, practically breathing smoke from the fumes of her wrath. Every moment, she worked to find King Arthur and take his head as she had once demanded of her husband, /commanding/ that his dead ruins be brought to her for what he had done to her little boy.

She had taken complete control of the Holy Knights and the kingdom's military, planning counter attacks and carefully planned battles against King Arthur and his army. Every day, the kingdom awaited news that Queen Elizabeth had taken revenge and avenged their beloved prince. But, as days, weeks, and months passed, no end the sudden exploding war was in sight.

The kingdom thought that peace was finally here in it's totality, that after the second Holy War, there would never be such a bloody war ever again, that everyone would move on to work towards an eternal peace within the realm.

King Arthur had taken that from them, and had taken their beloved, kind, and generous Queen, Prince-Consort, and Crown Prince along with it.

And, they swore they'd never forgive him. Not in this life, nor the next.

Meanwhile, Prince Lancelot of Benwick carried the fury of the country in his heart and very soul.

He was on the front lines at all times. Every time they'd face a Knight of King Arthur, Prince Lancelot was there to take them out, to take his own piece of revenge for what King Arthur had done to his best friend, the other half of his soul, almost, as Prince Tristan and him were born only five days apart and had grown up side by side before his disappearance.

He was a merciless beast of a man, as he had his future stolen from him, his future with Prince Tristan. Everything they could've had together was no more, gone in the blink of an eye.

When he was informed of Prince Tristan's death and disappearance, Prince Lancelot swore a great promise of /vengeance/ against King Arthur, bowing before the Queen and swearing to her that he'd deliver the damned bastard's head to the royal family no matter the cost. Those who were witness to this, whispered that Prince Lancelot even /wept/, shaking and sobbing as he swore his revenge before Queen Elizabeth.

He was the Goddess of Wrath's; "Master of War", as some called him. She was the Judge and he was her Executioner.

The rest of the Seven Deadly Sins aided in Queen Elizabeth's war plan. As the King and Queen of the Fairy and Giant race, the King and Queen of Benwick, Lord Gowther, and even the King and Queen of the Demon Realm, all joined Queen Elizabeth and stayed at her side.

Meanwhile, the once revered Captain of the Seven Deadly Sins drowned in cups and ale to wash away the devastation that laced his being. He was no longer the supposed "Sin of Wrath" he had been nearly twenty years ago. He was stripped of everything and his anguish was the only thing left of him.

The King of Benwick, Ban the Fox Sin of Greed, often visited his former Captain, rumors spread---as the Prince-Consort was cooped up in his son's bedroom and never left it. Guards who were stationed near the former Prince's bedroom would often hear Prince-Consort Meliodas /weep/ whenever King Ban visited him. They could hear the sounds of sobbing, sounds filled with so much pain that maids and servants alike steered clear from Prince Tristan's former chambers because of the anguished wails coming from beyond those double doors.

No one knew what King Ban and Prince-Consort Meliodas spoke of behind the closed entrance, nor do they know what other things transpired. All they knew, was that a family had been split in two, and neither the Queen nor Prince-Consort would ever be whole and hale again.

With Prince Tristan's death, the dominos of all out /war/ fell into place; and the clash of wrath and chaos would now explode all across Britannia.

And no one, not a single damned soul, would be left unscathed---not while the "Goddess of Wrath", Queen Elizabeth still drew breath.

She would avenge her son. No matter the cost.

And /nothing/ would escape her wrath.

Simon and Marcy's relationship through the years

So I finally watched the Stakes miniseries in Adventure Time and I think like I finally understand Marceline and her motivations better, especially regarding Simon.

So seeing the stuff with Marcy's mom from Stakes I think it's pretty clear why she sent Marcy away in the first place.

She didn't want Marcy to see her die. It could be any general post-apocalyptic illness I suppose but with a mutagenic bomb I'm gonna assume it's some sort of radiation poisoning. Marcy is little here, between 5-7 so I don't think she processed why her Mom 'abandoned' her, only the hurt left behind. We see she hadn't really accepted/understood until Distant Land's Obsidian.

So that fear of abandonment translates over to Simon who, also, is forced to leave 'for her safety'. So, objectively, it's about the crown, how he's slowly losing himself and could potentially hurt her. I had asked, right from the start of my AT watch 'why does he keep putting the crown on?' We see in Simon & Marcy, its as a deterrent against the dangers of a post-war world. But Marcy was important to him, surely he could find some other way, I mean look at this

This is not a man eager to leave behind the child in his care. So why did he?

And after watching Marcy's mom succumb to radiation poisoning it hit me. Simon left Marcy for the same reason her mom did: to spare her the pain of watching a parent die. Here are the lyrics from I Remember You

"This magic keeps me alive / but it's making me crazy"

The crown was keeping him alive through the apocalypse, if it wasn't poisoning from the bomb it might have been something else. Marcy, being half demon, was protected but Simon was totally human without the crown's protection. Simon realized he had no choice but to leave her: by dying as a human like her mother or lost to madness of the crown. So he left, to ensure she didn't have to see either one. It was probably the hardest decision he ever made and he felt guilty enough to write Marcy a note. He wrote it on the back of a picture of Marcy so she'd see it but she didn't get to read it until almost a millennia later. But for a thousand years, Marcy harbored resentment towards Simon and later Ice King.

Marcy stated she originally became a vampire hunter to protect the remaining humans, thinking it was an extension of protecting her one time protector. She grieved his loss in her life greatly which turned into bitterness and frustration. Marceline was seemingly abandoned by two close parental figures in her early childhood which -coupled with vampirism and living unchanging for centuries- turned her into apathetic, isolated punk rocker we meet at the start of the series.

We don't know when Marcy and Ice King formally met but we know they didn't have much interaction in the main Adventure Time series until I Remember You. If I were to guess, Marcy probably tried to get through to Simon briefly before giving up and then avoiding him. She probably assumed he left her for the power of the crown, her own hurt clouding the memories of Simon's actions and his words to her.

We know Simon reached out to her multiple times, tracking her down and spending time with her without really knowing why. Marcy, it seemed, did her level best to just avoid him. Until she finds the note Simon left for her.

It doesn't explain everything but it's enough for Marcy to understand the important bits: that Simon did not leave her willingly, that he loved her and seeking forgiveness for his future actions as the Ice King. After this episode, we see Marcy hanging out with Ice King of her own volition and, to the best of my knowledge, she only refers to him as "Simon" from now on.

It's a big step for her, who has clung to this hurt and anger for a long, long time. To look at a man who doesn't remember her and open her heart just a crack to let him through again. I think the note from the past plus the singing in the present gave Marcy a way to bridge this crazy wizard to her old friend. One of my favorite details in the song is we hear Tom Kenny's distinctive dopey Ice King voice throughout it until we get to the last few harmonizing Da Da's. Maybe it's my imagination but the last few tones on his end are softer, more human, closer to the Simon of memory.

Its a reminder to Marcy and to us that Simon was still there.

TLDR: Marcy's mom sent her away so her daughter wouldn't watch her die and Simon chose to do the same since he would have died without the crown. Marcy hung onto this grief for years shaping it into her early AT self. I Remember You gave Marcy closure on assuring Simon's affections for her and why he left. It was also when she finally saw him for the first time in Ice King and began to allow him back into her life which led to him being freed. These two make me so emotional.

Warnings: SPOILERS FROM THE MANGA OF NANATSU NO TAIZAI AND 4 KNIGHTS OF THE APOCALYPSE!! Arthur with chaos, Angst- some comfort, some soft yandere?? rather Arthur in 4kota being his own warning, reader has the power of a kaleidoscope (can see the future), mentions of death, somewhat long work, I think that's all.

FIRST PART FOR CONTEXT

You didn't like to remember what happened during the holy war. Neither of the you two wanted.

All the humans who died, the friends lost, how Arthur had died, even if it was temporary, it was something that would remain forever in your mind and heart.

only for the total destruction of Camelot to occur shortly after.

The war was won, yes, but at what cost...

It took a toll on both of them.

A part of you felt guilty for not having been able to prevent this future scenario with your power, but Arthur was always quick to tell you you didn't have to feel that way, after all going against destiny was much more dangerous and unpredictable.

Arthur, even with all the loss he had suffered in that time, was happy that you were safe and by his side, he wouldn't change that.

Even if the words of support felt good, you could see right through him, and how the situation had definitely damaged him severely.

not only for his lost arm, but for his damaged spirit.

and it was something else that changed him...

The chaos.

Of course, at the time you did not accept that Merlin used Arthur as a vessel for that thing, but it was not in your power to decide, now, with things as they were, you could see more clearly how Chaos affected Arthur.

Even if it was in his general aura, it made him more threatening, colder...menacing.

He did not direct this attitude towards you! With you, in general terms, he was still the same Arthur that you fell in love with, that you married... but he started to change little by little.

Arthur became considerably more clingy after all the trauma he had gone through in the holy war, at first you even considered it normal, if it weren't for the fact that later it could have been seen as a warning sign.

Arthur is more clingy with chaos, he slowly clings to what he has left in the war, in this case, YOU.

For this reason, he begins to show certain tendencies or amplify those he already had, for example, his protection over you.

I have the personal hc that at first Arthur's outbursts due to the chaos only came to light (initially) in moments of high tension(like in the anime), so the first stage of "infection" so to speak passed quite unnoticed.

However, it does not mean that it did not have worrying moments.

Related to the above, Arthur would literally have quite serious fits of rage if you went on, for example, a small reconnaissance mission with Knights and ended up injured.

and I'm not talking about just "getting angry" I mean he might even deploy his sword with them (you'll have to do something if you want the Knights to come out alive, another warning sign...).

At this point, Arthur begins to show more of the side we see in 4kota, although quite Lowkey.

but it doesn't mean he doesn't say some pretty dark things.

For example, his dislike of other races is becoming more and more evident. especially demons.

Even if you want to understand what's happening to him, you can't, not when you see it and you KNOW that this will end very badly...

I don't think Arthur is confrontational, but you definitely don't sit back and watch him talk bad about the races he fought SIDE BY SIDE in the war. Didn't that matter to him anymore? Now they were all the same to him. the?only evil beings who want to harm humanity?

Arthur has the ability to not shout or take fights to extreme levels, but the worst thing is that he also does not deny anything or leave the argument halfway. which only confirms that his ideas are becoming increasingly solid and dangerous.

Unfortunately you cannot see a future where you change his ideas permanently. at least not now. while Arthur becomes more radical day by day.

but at least you know VERY well what this change is due to: Chaos.

It's the first step in undoing the damage, but it's difficult to do it on your own while Chaos has more and more control over Arthur.

He continues to be a good and loving husband to you... I listen to his opinions and ideas... you don't know what to do.

By the time he has the whole plan to use Britannia to rebuild Camelot at the cost of the lives of the other races and to destroy EVERYTHING in favor of an "eternal kingdom"... that's when you start planning.

you need to find a way to get Chaos out of Arthur.

But first you should get away from him, no matter how discouraging it may be. You love your husband, but for that reason you must leave him to SAVE HIM.

Using your Kaleidoscope, you were able to find the perfect way out of "Camelot" before anyone noticed.

and as soon as you were out of that bubble, you began your journey towards Britannia.

To say that Arthur was distraught at first would be an understatement.

Let's say that at first Arthur thinks you were kidnapped, it's that serious.

He has his knights rushing out to go look for you (fearing for their lives when they return without you or clues to your whereabouts) and Arthur is VERY tempted to go on his own to look for you in every corner of the continent.

but he cannot leave the kingdom for too long. Plus he doesn't want to scare you (when he realizes that you left of your own free will).

and Chaos in a way operates a little on their thoughts so that the following happens.

In the time that follows, you continue traveling to various parts of the continent in search of a cure for Arthur.

Have you tried to go with fairies, with giants, alchemists, magicians, etc.

but you can't find anything useful.

apart from the fact that you are constantly avoiding Arthur's Knights, whether they are specially sent to look for you or they are simply there for "recruitment".

You were able to easily keep a low profile, hiding your Kaleidoscope power from people knowing that that would be what could (probably) give you away.

Having seen everything the small towns had to offer, and unable to return to Carmelide safely by Arthur's knights, you made a hasty decision.

You went to see the deadly sins to ask them for help. but first of all, to King Meliodas.

without knowing that that was precisely what Arthur wanted.

Arthur knew you well enough to know that even if you knew you shouldn't avoid the future, he had to be cautious about when he wanted to bring you back.

From there, he wouldn't care much about the matter of destiny, but definitely with the prophecy of the Knights of the Apocalypse around, he saw the perfect moment to start his plan.

NOW, during this time, Arthur became the version we know of 4kota, deceptively friendly but very lethal, more sadistic, but more relaxed so to speak.

He sees this situation as even fun now (being completely infected by chaos), and he honestly can't wait to have you back and see what trick you had up your sleeve.

The Knights know it, "Merlin" knows it, all of "Camelot" knows it, he misses you. and he is anxious for you to return to him.

He was definitely anxious because you did a good job hiding for so long, he lost track of you many times (it's not like his Knights had it easy), but at least now that he's sure where you're going, he can send someone who KNOWS finish the job at once.

After a while, you arrived in Liones, determined to reach Meliodas, when you saw the vision...

you being taken to Camelot by a knight named IronSide.

damn.

There wouldn't be time to find what you originally came looking for, but maybe you could warn them about Arthur, change things, for the better.

but it would be difficult to keep a low profile, especially knowing that Arthur's Knight would be lurking. It took you a while to get close.

Meliodas was happy to see you after so long! but he definitely got serious when you said your reason for coming was for Arthur. that he was planning something against Liones, that he had to protect the children from the prophecy (especially Percibal).

and not kill Arthur before you could find a cure for him...

It was at that moment that Megagaland attacked.

oh geez, you have to hide again. you thought and went to your current hiding place.

You weren't that surprised to see that someone was already there...

Ironside...

Arthur could feel when you and Ironside entered Camelot, he could only think 'finally'.

finally someone does their job well, finally everything is back to normal-

You are finally back with him.

The feeling he had before of anticipation becomes more palpable, he is anxiously waiting for you to get to where he is, in the throne room.

and he feels calm, knowing that now he not only has the tactical advantage in this little war, but that he has his dear companion with him. What more could he ask for?

He's anticipating what he's going to say to you... after so much time.

Surprisingly you are also anticipating. You don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

You have closely followed the atrocious acts that Arthur has done in the past and continues to do. He is even willing to kill children in order to follow this "everlasting kingdom" for the love of God...

But you know he won't hurt you. He didn't do it before, he won't do it now. no matter how much it changes.

and even if it is difficult to admit. you miss him. He is your husband after all.

but you also miss how everything was before Chaos intervened.....how you would like to help him-

No, you're going to save him...somehow.

even if now you'll probably have to help him with your kaleidoscope...

is what you think as you go with Ironside to what appears to be the lair of the Knights of Chaos.

You (without Ironside, apparently) are transported to the throne room, and see, for the first time in years, Arthur.

He's barely changed physically, advantages of chaos, you suppose, he looks so deceptively innocent...

and meanwhile Arthur can only be grateful that you are finally here...

Do you have any idea how much you worried him when you left? with nothing to say, just leave... but you came back, he can't be mad at you, not when he's been waiting so long to have you this close again...

Far from being angry or minimally irritated with this "act of rebellion," he seems rather amused, even touched, as if what you had done was adorable...he seems happy.

and in some ways, it's contagious. You don't let your guard down, but you can allow yourself this little moment with your husband...

But when he stands up from his throne, he turns towards you and with an expression that reminds you of when everything was fine, he tells you:

That question about Wykong listening to Sophie made me wonder..... Wukong is a clever monkey sometimes, would he ever use Sophie's presence as an excuse to either behave or misbehave? Like, in the aforementioned scenario, threaten grievous harm to a human for talking smack ("I was defending her honour! You should thank me!")....... OR..... expect from the start that Sophie would plead for him to NOT hurt anyone, and therefor he gets to look like a totally cool and upstanding guy by letting the pathetic mortal off the hook ("You better be grateful to her, I'd have torn you limb from limb if she weren't so gracious and forgiving! You better thank her!") and also demonstrate to Tripitaka what a cool and upstanding guy he is by not drop kicking a pathetic mortal over the nearest mountain ("I could have but I didn't! Tell him Sophie! I am a reasonable and great person! You should all thank me!")

Honestly, I can see this very well! So I think he would definitely use Sophie as an excuse to behave or misbehave! It is in his nature to be smart but very mischievous and at the beginning he didn't quite understand morals from a mortal point of view. So a lot of misbehaving happened and he wanted it to benefit him, but not too wildly that it would affect the Journey.

There are situations at the beginning when Sophie joins the gang, where Wukong teaches a mortal a lesson for talking smack to Sophie. At first, she felt surprisingly grateful that the monkey got her back but soon realized that it was mostly just an excuse to scare the mortal off: "I just wanted to beat him a little. Get some steam off. Besides, he is so disgusting that he better learn his lesson to not be a dickhead." Wukong was very serious and there was no spark in his eyes to be interested in becoming friends with Sophie, but it was his job to keep her alive and he did the bare minimum for it.

But with time that excuse turned to: "I was defending your honor, stupid woman!" "Anyone who calls you stupid, you get me. Okay?" "It seems that I have to do all the things for you, eh? Be grateful that I am a generous King." And soon this behavior also took another color in the paper. Wukong would usually stop being an ass or using force, or violence if Sophie begs for it. She has to mean it in order for him to understand the message. Wukong started to have a crush on her and he didn't want to 'ruin his image' of a perfect man in front of her. So, in order to please her he will stop but with a warning. "I would beat the living shit out of you if she didn't ask." "You got lucky. This time." Oh, and you better bet your kidneys he would use these when Tripitaka and him are having another argument. Although Tripitaka is pleased that Wukong has learned some morals for stopping violence sometimes when Sophie asks, he is still not happy about it. He knows that Wukong does that only to show off and get attention from her. If she was not there, he would be back to his old ways. He needs to learn to do this without Sophie all the time because that would put a lot of pressure on her and Tripitaka doesn't want that. The woman is dealing with her own issues and having a demon monkey in the mess would stress her out:

"Wukong, if you want to become a monk you need to learn to control your temper without someone to be there to remind you every single time. It's a part of understanding your limits."

"I don't know what you're talking about, master! I don't need her help for that! Ask her, master! Ask her and she will say that I handled the situation without her help AND I did it peacefully." "Wukong, peacefully does not include breaking the man's bones in any form!" "...Eh just a little snap in the nose will teach him a lesson. I just think about the future."

I started whb recently and frankly I’m glad I found blogs like yours that focus on headcanons, lore and writing. This sounds dumb but I find the actual WHB MC from the game really unrelateable but I think it’s not because they’re a blank slate(which would be better in this case), but they’re just two things: Solomon descendent and 24/7 horny. Nothing else, no sense of self or decision in anything. It feels railroady with zero choice in dialogue.

Like we’ll use Raphael’s first story because that was available for preview: I personally wouldn’t be happy that Beel gave us very….interesting items as a gift. The game makes you elated to have them but like that isn’t my cup of tea yknow? I mean that section would have been perfect for a dialogue choice to show that you love it or are weirded out, which could make the story interesting because you end up using them on Raph so it’s like, better use of the present sort of scenario. I get this is a h-oriented game but not everyone is into certain things, or hypersexual and that’s where I feel the story falls flat and I just ignore the mc and pay attention to everything else. I hope that makes sense.

I rarely run into MCs that are relatable, and when I do it's such a breath of fresh air. In this case, this is why I made my own because the MC for WHB is just...phew idk they disappoint me sometimes and then the 'choices' we get in the game are barely there. because like Beel, honey...did you even check to see if MC even likes anal beads? Or even wanted a sexy outfit when everyone else got like wholesome gifts that matched their interests? Back to your point though, MC just brushes it off and made the best of it, which fine, but I would of liked to see the option of rejecting the gift because I really wanna see how the Kings react when you tell them 'no' and who actually respects boundaries. Just like I got excited when MC showed a bit of backbone with Satan telling him "he's done worse" when he got all pissy at them for interrupting him without meaning to. But they backed down at the end and I was like NO KEEP THE ENERGY TELL HIM ABOUT HIMSELF. I would. I know what's happening later for being mouthy, but still he's gonna hear it. I think I'd like MC more if they were like "I'm literally only doing this because I wanted my friend back alive, so I'm not just gonna roll over because you're demons." and then use the fact that their the descendant as further proof that no one else can do this or break the bonds but me, so ya'll act up if you want to I've got time. My TWP Predictions

I've seen that people started with predictions to what they think or want to happen in The Wicked Powers. So, here are my predictions:

The main character is either Dru or Kit. Dru because she is the most important living female character of the main squad and Kit, because most parts of the series are probably his story. Also he was second after Emma in TDA.

Kit, Dru and Ty have most of the book in their POV, additionally there will be some chapters from Ash and a few in Livvy's POV. The rest of the characters don't get their own POVs .

Kit and Ty will obviously make up (and out) and end up dating and staying together forever.

Mina or one of the Lightwood-Bane kids will be kidnapped and threatened to be killed, but won't die

Thule-Livvy comes to Our World and meets Cameron here. They get a second chance for their relationship, even though their respective versions of the other world are dead. I also think that Cameron would follow Thule-Livvy back to Thule to save it from demons.

Janus will either die, end up with the Seelie Queen, or go back to Thule to undo his and Sebastians mistakes and save the world on Clary's wish.

Thule Kit will either die, go evil and/or become King of Faerie. But somehow I think he dies because he gets attacked by faeries.

Thule Rosemary never gets attacked deadly, finds her son again, tries and fails to protect him at a dangerous attack by faeries and accidently goes to Our World and protects/saves Kit here.

The TWP-squad mainly consists of Dru, Jaime, Ghost-Livvy and/or Thule-Livvy, Kit and Ty. Ash joins them later and Anush also gets to be pretty important, but has no part written in his point of view.

Dru, Jaime and Ash will go to Thule for some reason. Kit, Ty, Livvy and Anush stay in Our World and go to Faerie.

We get to see Auraline. Either in a flashback or because she's actually alive, but nobody knew. In that case she will also protect Kit and maybe end up as Queen of Faerie.

Kieran might give up his throne to the brother who's dating (?) the Seelie Queen in tge end of TDA.

Kit has wings and can make other people fly with his powers. I want to see him and Ty dance across the night sky.

Love triangle between Dru, Jaime and Ash, but they actually communicate and Dru ends up with Ash.

In the end Ash lives with either Dru at Blackthorn Hall or either the Herondale-Carstairs family.

Dru and Ty move to Blackthorn Hall, like Jules planned them to, also to be closer to Kit (and Ash).

Kit and Ash become parabatai. Maybe to secure eachother's survival. They are scared the other will kill them, but parabatai's can't kill eachother. So problem solved.

If a Lightwood dies, it's hopefully Maryse.

Kit fake-dies. Ty also fake-dies at the showdown battle and Kit heals him with his power.

All characters comeback at the showdown. Also Herongraystairs reunion and sibling-bonding of their children.

These are the things I definitely do not want to happen, but might be a bit likely to go down this way:

Jace dying. Because he's a Lightwood, too and has someone who wants to and can step up in his place if he dies: Janus. He's also in more or less immediate danger, because Janus wants to kill him. Also Clary thought that she would die in TDA, so maybe Jace steps up to die instead of her (like Jason did for Piper in TOA, Rick is a friend of Cassie's, too, btw). But I hope it's not him who dies.

Ideas I had, that are probably way too wild for it to actually happen:

KitTy wedding in faerie as a way of staying together forever, because others want to separate them.

Rosechild / Rosestar moments: I mean Ash flirting with Jaime and Jaime totally questioning his sexuality. Maybe even some more romantic moments

Ash taking the Fairchild name instead in honour of his aunt and grandma.

Kit taking the Blackthorn name because he feels more connected to them than to the Herondales. Jace almost disowning him afterwards.

Kit bonding and cuddling with a duck. Jace definitely disowning him now.

Ash being the one who warns Clary and Jace about Janus

God (?) Headcanons for One Piece:

Luffy is the god of the hearth. Looks like gear five.

Zoro is the demon king of the wrath ring. His real form looks like his Asura form.

Sanji is the fallen angel of creation. His true form looks like the bliblically accurate eye of rings kinda.

Nami is the demon queen of the greed ring. A imagining a naga kinda deal (totally blinged out with gold and shit tho).

Usopp is a fae nymph. He looks the same but he’s got sharp canines and gold spiraling eyes (and also somehow always has got leaves in his hair).

Chopper is an earth deity for good health that takes the form of a small boy with deer-like features (who’s true form kinda looks like the Jötunn from the movie The Ritual).

Robin is an ancient god of knowledge. In my mind she kinda looks like Life from The Loving Reaper Comics by Jenny Jinya with long hair that shows the stars and long black gowns that look like molten rock.

Franky is a sentinel who’s real form is his post-timeskip form. His kinda like Zog from the 2009 Astroboy movie, but instead of hard metal he’s rock like the Terra-cotta sculptures in China (the Terra-cotta Army in the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, I mean).

Brook is the king of death. His normal form has him looking like he did when he was alive with plaster white tattoos of his skeleton all over his body. He’s got like a hades thing going on.

Jimbei is the god of the sea. It’s got a human form that looks incredibly similar to his god form (never changing the dad build). When he’s in his real form he glows like a lava lamp to show the sea (it changes with his mood).

I like to imagine that none of the strawhats know that Luffy is also a god so they all have to hide their mystical forms when he’s around (they’ve all got jewelry to keep their human forms: Zoro’s earrings, Sanji’s tongue piercing, Usopp’s got a lip ring, Nami’s got her bracelets, Chopper’s got his hat to hide his horns, Robin uses an old spell, Franky can just change on command, Brook’s got a shell necklace, and Jimbei’s got rings. (Luffy has a helix piercing that he only half understands what it does)).

After being kidnapped by the Camarilla for horrific experiments, she is found by Arthur and Luc practically dying and with no hope of saving her. But we don't know how Arthur did something that day, practically a miracle, not only saving Simone's life, but making her human again. But fate had not finished with her, in fact some time later, during the siege of Ekron, Simone was cursed again but this time she was transformed by magic into a lupine. In an attempt by the demon to drive Luc to madness which by now considered her as a daughter. But this act only created another foe for him with blind fury and extraordinary strength.

Aria: A Salubri, embraced when she was about 10 years old, rescued and then subsequently adopted by Arthur a long time ago. Despite being a vampire, he has a kind disposition and never backs down from helping the group with his healing discipline.

Amelia: A Cappadocia left alive, a rare sight, imprisoned in the hands of the Hunters forced to use her skills to create dolls in the service of the vampire hunt.

Ranya The Witch: A Ravnos, in league with the demon Ekron. Trick Danya into finding and recovering the dice so she can allow the King of Hell to appear on earth and unleash the apocalypse. Apparently an ancient vampire with infernal powers who tries in every way to torment and destroy the coterie. He's going to kill Becker by driving them all out. After his capture it was discovered that his will was under the control of Ekron and that therefore his actions were totally controlled by the demon. Evidently dice are too great a temptation for anyone. In exchange for his release, he makes a deal with Elizabeth to become an ally and a valuable asset to the coterie.He will reveal himself to be a crazy and unpredictable person with a particular sense of humor that many within the group find amusing.

It's all basically a mad dash through hell to stay alive as long as possible through killing demons, husks, and other machines.

Gabriel is, fun fact, the only character that you can encounter in the main levels that actually speaks!!! So when you get to the area he does his first monologue to you, it is a TOTAL jumpscare!! And he is SO SASSY. All like "Machine, turn back now, for the walls of this palace are NOT for your kind 🙄" like okay gayboy. and literally the way u heal during his fight is that he stops his attacks to taunt you and THEN you can stop to beat his ass LMAO

AND THEN WHEN HE'S DEFEATED, HE LOSES ALL OF HIS PERFECT ANGEL ATTITUDE AND GOES "YOU INSIGNIFICANT FUCK!!!" IT'S EVERYTHINGGSGAJAHAJSH AND THEN!!!
