I just hate it when people try to 'fix' WWX's fear of dogs.
The dude has a legitimate reason to be frightened of them after what he's been through and as long as it doesn't affect his life and make him miserable - which it really doesn't, he's scared and runs off and now he's got a hit husband to save him and make him feel safe - why make it an issue?
Not everyone likes dogs, not everyone has to compromise and face a fear because someone else has a dog.
Why is it always WWX who has to 'get over' his fear in these fanfics? Why aren't others more understanding of his fears and keeping the dog away or leaving it at home - which you'll notice canon JL actually starts to do, especially in the extra when they are on a night-hunt.
I just think it's really inconsiderate of people to down play WWX's fear and make him "get over it" so he can play happy families as some double uncle team with JC - which is less likely to happen than WWX getting over his fear of dogs! Then again, considering the plot dynamic of these "fix it" fics, full of ooc shit they wouldn't do... I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Nice to see the seers get some traction but I wanna see more family web au stuff can I has doodles??
Sure! I've actually been thinking a lot about them recently too (probably b/c of Donnieverse lol). But i gave Apocalypse Mikey a little bit of a redesign for this au, at least for the later years (he'd probably look older by movie time, but he's about mid twenties here.)
I figured Mikey would be the one to lean into the spider aesthetic more out of the four (though donnie is probably a close second.) Also i know i said at one point that none of them have hair, but i kinda wanted to see what mikey would look like with it? (I also miss drawing hair lol) So i gave him his hair back from when he was a baby. Also, as a painful little tidbit, the way he's wearing his mask, is how Humanform Raph wore his in their teen years, which he does on purpose to remember his brother.)
And, as another bonus, have an image of what the Krang see whenever they go up against this guy.
he uses his mystic chains like webs to capture the attacking Krang and hold them so others can kill them. There comes a point where if a sees that spiderweb cape, they try their best to flee (but usually, by then, it's too late. They're already caught in his web trap.) (i kinda want to do a short video of him doing this? but idk what music to do it to. I need to find some cool web/spider themed audio before i can think of doing so)
Honestly, my thoughts were "Future Mikey going all out with the webs" and this is what happened. (also that i usually stick pretty close to cannon for designs. I changed that a lot for this Mikey. He deserved to look like he raided a Halloween section lol)

didn’t want clutter @ilarual’s previous post but it’s @spnscripthunt’s 12x01 script:
Endlessly fascinated by Mary being scripted to hone in on Cas with irritation and expectation, almost as spouse-protector substitute—the one with duties to protect her children. We’ll see in full force when he “loses them” in 12x09. She realizes the can’t use him as invincible battering ram and apologizes, but this is a flagrant blind spot of hers intrinsic to her stress-coping style.

i found this really cool film chart on reddit and thought I'd fill it out!!
(I'm not sure who the original creator is as lots of people have used the template)
as the photo quality is quite bad, here's the list of the films i put on the chart (and some of my opinions/explanations):
favourite film of all time: the perks of being a wallflower (2012)
best script: good will hunting (1997)
favourite poster: fear and loathing in las vegas (1998)
"I'll watch it someday": the godfather (1972) (i WILL get around to watching this i promise)
big personal impact: speak (2004)
best long movie (3hrs+): schindler's list (1993)
you like, but everyone hates: lords of chaos (2018) (okay okay it's bad as it's not very accurate but AS A FILM I think it's good - i like the atmosphere and characters but it definitely shouldn't be treated as a documentary)
you hate, but everyone likes: glass onion (2022) (I'm sorry but i hated this so much lmao)
underrated: on the count of three (2021) (idk if this is underrated but i don't really see people talk about it much. big TW though as it's about su!cide)
overrated: la la land (2016) (honestly i do need to watch this again and tbh idk if it's overrated, i just had nothing else to put in this spot)
"why do i like this?": the babysitter (2017) (okay fine, the only reason why i like this film is because of samara weaving. she's hot okay?)
great soundtrack: how to train your dragon (2010) (all 3 films have great soundtracks but the first one is the most memorable for me)
that cinematography...: 1917 (2019)
bad day cure: bridesmaids (2011)
favourite protagonist: mrs doubtfire (1993)
favourite trilogy/series: the hunger games (2012) (not including the ballad of songbirds & snakes as i don't like that one as much as the first 4)
biggest letdown: downsizing (2017) (i expected it to be at least okay and it was so bad i couldn't even watch the whole thing)
biggest surprise: the little prince (2015) (i only watched it because it popped up on netflix. let's just say i cried so much i couldn't even see the ending of the movie /pos)
"not the best but having fun": house of wax (2005)
criminally overlooked: the crow (1994) (i don't see many people talking about this and i think people forget the actual plot and why eric draven is going after all those people. it's actually quite sad but SO good)
depressing movie: requiem for a dream (2000) (i found it so hard to pick my favourite depressing movie as i love sad stuff so much but this film is just, a lot? like ugh it's depressing and I'll never forget that ending. watching this should be considered a form of self hárm /j)
favourite active director: fight club (1999) - david fincher (idk if he's still 'active' but i think his most recent film came out last year?)
favourite animated movie: coraline (2009)
"not usually my thing but...": all quiet on the western front (2022) (war movies aren't usually my thing but this was really good)
PLEASE read/look at this it took forever😭😭 /nf/lh
